However, the occupiers did not allow the boys’ families to take the bodies. On June 28, there were multiple enemy artillery attacks targeting the water area of the Ochakiv community. The specific times of the shelling were recorded at 10:06, 10:22, 10:49, 13:06, and 15:32. The invaders began to dismantle the rubble and collect the dead as a result of the flood caused by the explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station: more than 60 bodies were found,” the General Staff reported. According to Vladislav Nazarov, a spokesman of the ‘South’ operational command, in the occupied territory of Kherson oblast, the invaders took about 100 local businessmen into custody to demand a ransom. Under the pretext of allegedly conducting counter-intelligence activities, citizens are being arrested, mostly entrepreneurs and other wealthy local residents, with the formal reason being accusations of possible cooperation with the Ukrainian Defence Forces. The occupiers demand significant sums of money from their relatives or friends for the release of the detainees.

According to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, such events are taking place in three regions – Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro and Kherson.
