It has been the 535th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm:   

On August 12, the russian occupiers launched 6 missile and 36 air strikes, 32 MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements. Unfortunately, the russian terrorist attacks have killed and wounded civilians, including children. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were damaged. 

There is still a high threat of missile and air strikes across Ukraine.

There were 33 combat engagements during the day.

Towards Volyn and Polissia, no significant changes occurred. 

Towards Siversk and Sloboda, russian forces launched an airstrike in the vicinity of Huriv Kozachok (Kharkiv oblast). More than 15 settlements, including Kliusy (Chernihiv oblast), Seredyno-Buda, Yastrubyne, Vodolahy, Myropilske (Sumy oblast), and Udy, Strilecha, Okhrimivka (Kharkiv oblast) were shelled with artilery.

Towards Kupiansk, the russian army conducted unsuccessful offensives northeast of Synkivka, north of Kyslivka and southeast of Andriivka (Kharkiv oblast). There was an airstrike near Kyslivka and Pershotravneve (Kharkiv oblast). The invaders fired artillery and mortars at Kupiansk, Masiutivka, Kyslivka, and Berestove (Kharkiv oblast).

Towards Lyman, russian forces launched airstrikes against Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Serebrianka, Siversk, Spirne, Vesele (Donetsk oblast). More than 10 settlements, namely Nevske, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Torske, Verkhnokamianske, and Spirne (Donetsk oblast) were shelled.

Towards Bakhmut, the russian army attempted offensive operations against Klishchiivka and Bila Hora (Donetsk oblast), to no success. More than 10 settlements, including Minkivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Bila Hora, and Pivnichne (Donetsk oblast), suffered from enemy artillery shelling. 

Towards Avdiivka, under heavy fire from enemy aircraft and artillery, the Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back russian troops’ advance near Avdiivka (Donetsk oblast). There was an airstrike. The invaders fired artillery at more than 10 settlements, including Novokalynove, Tonenke, Pervomaiske, Nevelske, and Karlivka (Donetsk oblast).

Towards Marinka, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back the russian offensive in the vicinity of Marinka city (Donetsk oblast). The enemy launched an airstrike  near Krasnohorivka (Donetsk oblast). The invaders fired artillery at more than 10 settlements, including Oleksandropil, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Novomykhailivka, and Yelyzavetivka (Donetsk oblast).

Towards Shakhtarske, the enemy made unsuccessful attempts to regain the lost position near Urozhaine (Donetsk oblast). More than 10 settlements, including Vodiane, Vuhledar, Bohoiavlenka, Prechystivka, Velyka Novosilka, Rivnopil (Donetsk oblast) came under artillery fire.

Towards Zaporizhzhia, the enemy fired artillery at more than 20 settlements, including Novodarivka, Temyrivka, Poltavka, Chervone, Verkhnia Tersa, Novoandriivka (Zaporizhzhia oblast) and Nikopol (Dnipropetrovsk oblast).

Towards Kherson, the enemy artillery shelled more than 20 settlements, including Zolota Balka, Zmiivka, Beryslav, Kozatske, Tiahynka, Poniativka (Kherson oblast), and Kutsurub, Ochakiv (Mykolaiv oblast).

At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct the offensive operation towards Melitopol and Berdiansk, have partial success in the vicinity of Robotyne (Zaporizhzhia oblast), consolidating their positions, and conducting counter-battery fire.

The Ukrainian Air Force launched 10 airstrikes on a buildup of russian troops, weapons, and military equipment. 


Ukrainian rocket and artillery troops hit a anti-aircraft missile system and a artillery asset at a firing position.

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal says that 68% of educational institutions in Ukraine have shelters of various types. Local authorities decide on the format of training. Where there is a threat to the lives of children, there will be no face-to-face training. 

The government’s website reports that restrictions on traveling abroad for those people whose relatives were killed or went missing while participating in the anti-terrorist operation have been lifted. Citizens liable for military service who are not subject to conscription and whose close relatives were killed or went missing while directly participating in the ATO will be able to cross the state border of Ukraine during martial law.

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Serhii Cherevatyi, Spokesman of the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said during the national marathon that russian troops are trying to take the initiative and attack Ukrainian positions towards Lyman-Kupiansk.

According to him, 69 russians were eliminated and 97 injured in this area yesterday and there were attacks near Ivanivka and Synkivka. Also russians tried to attack Ukrainian positions eight times. They launched 328 attacks with rocket and cannon artillery. Enemy combat helicopters and attack aircraft conducted 10 raids.

Two enemy T-72 tanks, three armoured vehicles, a D-30 howitzer, a mortar, two drones and a command and observation post of a unit were destroyed.

Kharkiv oblast

Oleh Syniehubov, Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported that yesterday the enemy tried to conduct an offensive near Synkivka and Ivanivka but retreated under Ukrainian fire with losses.

Also yesterday the enemy shelled settlements of Bohodukhiv, Kharkiv, Chuhuiv, Izium and Kupiansk regions with artillery, mortars and other weapons.

Specifically, Kupiansk, Petropavlivka, Veterynarne, Strilecha, Hatyshche, Vovchanski Khutory, Shyikivka, Cherneshchyna and other settlements were targeted. Residential buildings and outbuildings were damaged.

Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the RMA, said that around 5:10 am, the enemy shelled Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, Kupiansk region. A residential building was damaged. A 73-year-old woman was killed. Emergency services are working at the scene.

Andrii Kanashevych, Head of Kupiansk Regional Administration, said on the air of the national marathon that more than 90 people, including 35 children, have already left Kupiansk region as part of the mandatory evacuation.

Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the RMA, informed that 12 K people are to be evacuated from Kupiansk region, where mandatory evacuation is ongoing. According to Andrii Besedin, Head of the Kupiansk City Military Administration, about 8,500 residents are to be evacuated from Kivsharivka, Kupiansk and Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi.

Oleh Syniehubov added that yesterday pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service defused 89 explosive ordnance.

Yevhen Ivanov, Deputy Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, said during the briefing that as of 10 August, 5,300 damaged or destroyed objects were recorded in Chuhuiv region. Among them are 326 energy facilities, 55 educational institutions and 3,019 private buildings

Viacheslav Zadorenko, head of Derhachi City Military Administration, stated that Klavdiia Chirko, a 70-year-old resident of Hoptivka border city, donated her deceased husband’s car to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which she had been hiding from the invaders for six months. According to him, last autumn, the pensioner told about a russian ammunition hiding place, which was later transferred to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Donetsk oblast

Donetsk Regional Military Administration reported that on 11 August, russians killed two civilians in Yelyzavetivka and Siversk. One person was injured in the region.

Towards Volnovakha, 3 buildings and an agricultural enterprise were damaged in Bohoiavlenka of Vuhledar community. Velyka Novosilka and Blahodatne were under attack.

Towards Horlivka, 10 buildings were damaged in Toretsk community: 8 in Toretsk and 2 in Pivnichne. An apartment building and an industrial building were damaged in Chasiv Yar community.

Towards Lysychansk, in Siversk, 1 person was killed and 5 buildings damaged. In Zvanivka, 5 buildings were damaged. In Yampil of Lyman community, 3 buildings were damaged.

Serhii Dobriak, Head of Pokrovsk City Military ADministration, reported that 24 people are being treated in the local hospital who were injured on 7 August as a result of a missile attack on the city. Ten more people were hospitalized in Dnipro.

Petro Andriushchenko, Mariupol Mayor’s Counsellor, said that the invaders intensified searches and started checking locals, mainly on the outskirts of the city and in the private sector. People started disappearing after the searches.

Mariupol City Council reported that residents complain about the massive tree cutting. Specifically, trees have been cut down near the central campus of Pryazovskyi State Technical University.

Moreover, russia has declared the occupied Mariupol and the Chechen capital Grozny to be sister cities as both settlements were almost completely destroyed by russian troops in different years.

Luhansk oblast

Luhansk Regional Military Administration reported that despite russian reserves, Ukrainian troops have intensified their firepower in our sector. The enemy has an advantage in forces and means, but the effective defense system built by the Armed Forces of Ukraine does not allow the invaders to advance further.

The invaders did not ease the pressure from the air, once again shelling Nevske and Bilohorivka. Nevske, Dibrova and Bilohorivka were shelled.

The enemy continues to use educational institutions for its own purposes. Specifically, in Sievernyi in the south of Luhansk oblast, a school building is occupied by russian troops. The educational process has been suspended. Locals are prohibited from accessing the school.

In October, the invaders are planning to hold a “forum of classroom teachers” in moscow, where they are going to gather about three thousand teachers from the occupied territories. They will be taught how to brainwash children. In addition, participants will receive manuals on “patriotic education of youth”. Everything is in the “best soviet traditions”.

The invaders have an advantage in artillery and tanks, but they have no ground success. Roman Vlasenko, Head of Sievierodonetsk Regional Military Administration, informed that the situation is most intense near Bilohorivka and Novoselivske. According to him, injured and killed russian soldiers are being transported in convoys through Svatove towards Luhansk. In the occupied Sievierodonetsk, people walk through ruined buildings and enterprises in search of scrap to sell for money as the city has a problem with paying salaries even in power structures and there is a shortage of staff in housing and communal services.

Kreminna community received a mobile ambulatory that will operate in the de-occupied territory. This is a mobile ambulatory where a therapist, a cardiologist, a surgeon, a gynaecologist and a dentist can provide services. All the necessary equipment will be installed there. For the time being, the mobile clinic will be located in Dnipro. It will provide medical services to internally displaced people from Luhansk oblast who visit Kreminna Humanitarian Hub. The ambulatory was received as part of a memorandum of cooperation between Kreminna Hospital and Lviv International Rotary Club and as part of a grant from the Rotary Foundation.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

Ruslan Kravchenko, Head of the RMA says that in Kyiv oblast, within the framework of the eRestoration program, UAH 165 million will be paid in assistance to owners of destroyed housing. Over the three months of the program’s implementation, more than 7.4 thousand applications have been submitted, of which almost 2 thousand approved.

Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv will develop the Post-War Development Strategy for Irpin Community. The University signed a memorandum of cooperation with Irpin City Council and Irpin Restoration Fund. The project will be coordinated by the Department of Innovation and Investment Management of the Faculty of Economics.

Almost 1000 wounded soldiers will be able to undergo rehabilitation in the new rehabilitation center in Kyiv every year. According to the Ministry of Health, it is planned to open on the basis of the Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine early next year. The rehabilitation facility is being renovated by philanthropists.

The Department of Culture and Tourism of the RMA informs that the tourism industry in the oblast continues to develop even during the war, with experts creating 50 new tourist routes. Rural tourism is actively developing in the midst of the war, thanks to the favorable climate, fertile land, and a variety of countryside recreation facilities.

On the International Youth Day, the final day of the Ukrainian Youth Forum: Restoration in Unity is taking place in Kyiv, with the participation of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The forum brought together more than 300 participants from different regions of Ukraine, 50 speakers and 14 international partners. 

Kyiv joined the European Capital of Democracy project and became a partner with a special status. The relevant Memorandum was signed by Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klychko and the founder of the European Capital of Democracy initiative, Gelfried Karl. The special status envisages cooperation with the ECoD network of cities (Barcelona, Antwerp, Brussels, Cascais, Bologna, etc.).

Zhytomyr oblast

The regional office of the State Emergency Service reports that another train with IDPs from Donetsk oblast arrived in Berdychiv. This time, ten residents came from the war zone, including two children and one disabled.

The city council informs that starting in the new school year, high school students in Zhytomyr will be learning to fly quadcopters and provide first aid at the Defense of Ukraine class. The city budget has allocated funds for the purchase of drones and equipment for training. Experienced military personnel will be teaching children and teachers how to fly drones.

Five buses arrived in Zhytomyr as a gift to the community from the people of Dortmund (Germany). According to the city council, after their technical inspection and registration, they will be put on city routes.

Sumy oblast

On August 11, the enemy fired nine times at the border area, which resulted in 51 explosions. Nova Sloboda, Seredyno-Buda, Khotyn, Yunkivka, Krasnopilia, Velyka Pysarivka communities were shelled. Residential buildings were damaged. The enemy attacked the communities with UAVs, artillery, grenade launchers and mortars.

Sumy Regional Military Administration informs that in the morning, the russians shelled Seredyno-Buda community, there were six explosions. 

As reported by Sumy State Emergency Service, in Okhtyrka, Shostka and Sumy regions, SES pyrotechnics neutralized 5 artillery shells and a hand grenade over the day.

Chernihiv oblast

Over the past day, russians fired 4 times at the border of Chernihiv oblast from their territory. According to the State Border Guard Service, there were 43 explosions. Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka and Snova communities were shelled.

Another 53 residents of Chernihiv will receive compensation for damaged real estate totaling more than UAH 5.3 million as reported by the city council. The assistance was provided under the second stage of the state program e-Restoration to provide housing for Ukrainians whose homes were damaged or destroyed as a result of russia’s armed aggression.

56 school students from the border region of Chernihiv spent this week in Zakarpattia. The vacation was made possible by the Catch-Up Camp program from the GoGlobal Educational Foundation. The program targets students to compensate for educational losses. The children presented their communities and developed projects, and most importantly, they enjoyed live communication, which the war had deprived them of at home.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

During the day, russians attacked Nikopol three times. Mykola Lukashuk, Head of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Council, reported that due to artillery shelling, 15 residential buildings, 5 outbuildings, 3 power lines, and 2 gas pipelines were damaged.

Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, reports that russian troops attacked Kryvyi Rih with a ballistic missile.  

Vinnytsia oblast

Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration reported that children from the oblast went on a rehabilitation and recreation trip to the Artek-Bukovel camp. They are  from three family-type orphanages and a foster family, and their displacement from Kherson and Donetsk oblasts was necessitated by the armed aggression of the russian federation.

Kirovohrad oblast

Kropyvnytskyi hosted a mini-football tournament in memory of Special Forces soldier Dmytro Prydatko, who was killed in 2014 near Ilovaisk.

In Kropyvnytskyi, at Teatralna Square, residents and visitors had the opportunity to take photos with actors from the local theatre and contribute to the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces through donations.

Poltava oblast

Reshetylivka State Fire and Rescue Station 10 hosted a psychological relief event for rescuer workers. The training was focused on providing support to colleagues, fostering their strengths, and enhancing their skills in identifying internal sources and resources for revitalization and recovery.

In Velyka Bahachka, Poltava oblast, a charity concert was held to raise funds for the purchase of turnstiles, medicines, medical equipment, and uniforms for military nurses. The concert raised UAH 19,702 for the needs of the Armed Forces.

Cherkasy oblast

Viktor Kharchenko, Head of Chyhyryn community, reported that a specialized Mercedes-Benz cargo van was delivered to the Ukrainian military. Along with the vehicle, the defenders received medical supplies to replenish their first aid kits.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

According to Ihor Klymenko, Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, a 31-year-old police captain was killed and 12 people were injured when the russian army hit the town of Orikhiv, Zaporizhzhia oblast, with a guided missile. The strike on Orikhiv destroyed several shops and set a five-story building on fire. Four police officers were among the wounded.  Several people are in serious condition. 

Ukraine’s Air Force reports that on the night of August 12, three russian Shahed-136/131 drones were destroyed in Zaporizhzhia oblast. 

The Regional Military Administration reported that the russian army shelled 28 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast, destroying houses, agricultural machinery, and infrastructure. There were no casualties.

Mykolaiv oblast

Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration reported that on August 11, russian troops shelled Kutsurub and Ochakiv communities of Mykolaiv oblast with artillery. In particular, on August 11 at 08:13 and 08:44, the enemy fired artillery at the settlement of Kutsurub community. Residential buildings were damaged. Also during the day, at 08:10, 08:40, 13:46 and 17:35, the enemy shelled the town of Ochakiv with artillery. A warehouse caught fire, which was quickly extinguished by firefighters. In addition, at 16:30, the waters of Ochakiv community were shelled. There were no casualties. 

Nowadays, many Ukrainians have to face the risks associated with explosive devices and first aid. These issues were the focus of a training session held on August 12, in Mykolaiv by activists of the regional and city organizations of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society.

On August 12, volunteers from Kyiv organized a charity fair in support of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Mykolaiv. People could buy patriotic T-shirts, caps, chevrons, etc. In addition, people had the opportunity to talk to and take pictures with the actor of the Ukrainian TV series “The Dog” Mikhail Zhonin. Such fairs have been organized since the fall of 2022 in different cities of Ukraine. The money is used to support the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In total, they managed to raise more than two million hryvnias for the needs of the Ukrainian military.

Odesa oblast

A new feature, “It’s flying at you,” has been added to the ePPO app developed by the Technari group from Odesa. It provides personalized warnings to users who find themselves in the area of a missile, kamikaze drone or russian army aircraft. This is not the only novelty from the volunteers: they have developed and put into mass production an important part for an air defense system for the military. In the south, mobile air defense groups are actively using the developments of Ukrainian activists.

A vehicle equipped to provide professional medical care to the defenders and a large supply of medicines for the National Guard of the Kara-Dag Brigade were handed over by representatives of the All-Ukrainian NGO Orhidea together with their British partners Sunflowers for Freedom. The guardsmen talked to the foreign volunteers, expressed their gratitude and presented flags signed with words of appreciation from the soldiers.

The State Emergency Service of Odesa oblast said that safety classes were opened in two  lyceums of Vasylivka community at once. Schoolchildren met with rescuers and saw the presentation of the course on mine and fire safety, first aid training and road safety. 

Kherson oblast

In Poniativka, russian troops hit a residential building. A 70-year-old man sustained multiple injuries. In Odradokamyanka, there was a drone attack at the yard of local residents, wounding a 72-year-old man. 

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of Kherson Regional Military Administration, at night, the russian military shelled Daria community in Kherson oblast. A man was injured. On the morning of August 12, the russian army attacked Beryslav region, dropping explosives from drones. 

The General Staff reported that on August 11, russian troops fired at 25 settlements in Kherson oblast.

Kherson Regional Military Administration reported that on August 11, one person was killed and ten injured as a result of russian shelling. Shells hit the humanitarian aid distribution center in Beryslav and a church in Kherson community. 

In the de-occupied territories of Kherson oblast, SES sappers defused 42 explosive devices and inspected 4,858 hectares of territory and 2,253 km of power lines.

Detailed photos of artist Polina Raiko’s house-museum are on display at the Ukrainian House until August 27. Polina Raiko survived the German occupation and the death of both children. As if the final tragic chord was the almost complete destruction of her artistic heritage – on June 6, russians blew up the Kakhovka HPP, and water flooded her native Oleshky and the house with the artist’s frescoes.

On August 11, the documentary Unconquered Kherson was presented in Kyiv. The film’s protagonists are journalists who recorded the rallies of Kherson residents, the occupation and liberation of their hometown, its flooding due to the explosion of the Kakhovka HPP, and daily shelling during the year and a half of the invasion.

Latest news for today in the western regions of Ukraine

Volyn oblast

The exhibition communism = racism opened in Lutsk. It covers 13 stories about Ukrainians of the 20th and 21st centuries who suffered from the soviet and russian authorities. The exhibition reflects a parallel between the crimes of communism and russism.

Zakarpattia oblast

The rehabilitation base is being expanded in medical institutions of Zakarpattia. It is planned that each cluster and supercluster hospital will have its own inpatient rehabilitation department, where from 30 to 60 beds will be deployed. It will be equipped with modern equipment to help people return to active life and movement after injuries or illnesses. There are now 235 beds for these needs.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

During a missile attack on August 11, an enemy missile killed an 8-year-old boy Vova. The child was in the yard and received numerous shrapnel wounds. An ambulance arrived within minutes. The boy was hospitalized in critical condition with serious injuries. Medics fought for his life for more than two hours, but could not save him.

Yurii Ihnat, Spokesman of the Air Force reported that on August 11, 4 Kinzhal missiles targeted Ivano-Frankivsk oblast to strike a military airfield and young pilots who will soon go to training.

Lviv oblast

Military unit 3057 of the National Guard of Ukraine received a car thanks to the taxes of Lviv residents. This year, Lviv community has already allocated over UAH 210 mln to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As a result of the rocket attack on July 6, some educational institutions were destroyed. In particular, the primary school Zhereltse, where the roof, classroom and the staircase were damaged. The executive committee allocated UAH 500K from the reserve fund of the budget to carry out urgent emergency restoration works in the school premises.

Rivne oblast

Communities of Rivne oblast received 33 generators for critical infrastructure from UNDP in Ukraine.

From Rivne oblast, another group of children  went on vacation to a summer camp in the city of Kaltanenai (Lithuania). These are 80 children aged 10-14, whose parents were killed as a result of the war or are active military personnel.

Ternopil oblast

Volodymyr Trush, Head of Ternopil RMA, announced that the Defense Council of Ternopil oblast decided to ban the religious march planned by supporters of the UOC (moscow patriarchate).

Serhii Nadal, Mayor of Ternopil, announced that 5 quadcopters and 2 sapper kits were sent to the front for Ternopil military personnel.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

Oleksandr Simchyshyn, Mayor of Khmelnytskyi, reported that one of the local units of the National Guard received 4 quadcopters of various models with additional batteries and 11 Motorola R7 radios.

Chernivtsi oblast

As part of the Agreement between the EU and the KfW bank, Chernivtsi will receive EUR 14,93 mln in grant funds to update the municipal water supply system. The project is to improve local water management infrastructure.

International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)

Ukraine received almost 224 K artillery shells and 2,3 K missiles of various types from the EU.

The Netherlands sent 6 mobile medical support complexes to Ukrainian border guards. Also, representatives of the Netherlands conducted a training with the personnel of the medical units of the State Border Service on the deployment and use of these mobile complexes.

About 900 Ukrainian marines completed a six-month training course in Great Britain. Among acquired skills are amphibious naval operations on small boats and beach raids.

Ukraine has started the first round of negotiations with the UK on a bilateral agreement on providing security guarantees, as envisaged by the Joint Declaration of Support for Ukraine, which is the basis for the development of relevant bilateral documents.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, held a phone conversation with Hakainde Hichilema, Zambian President. They discussed the Ukrainian Peace Formula, the continuation of the Black Sea Grain Initiative and arrangement of the Ukraine-Africa summit.

Andrii Yermak, Head of the Office of the President, held the 5th meeting with representatives of foreign diplomatic institutions accredited in Ukraine. Implementation of Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s Peace Formula was discussed.

France condemned shelling attacks against Ukraine and recognized them as war crimes. The French Foreign Ministry said that these attacks were once again aimed at civilian infrastructure, which is a gross violation of international humanitarian law.

Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann, Head of the Defense Committee of the Bundestag, spoke against limiting the range of Taurus cruise missiles for Ukraine. She said that Ukraine needs German Taurus cruise missiles in order to attack purely military objects on the territory of russia, from where strikes are constantly being launched.

French Karim Lounisi traveled over 4 K km from France to Ukraine to raise funds to purchase generators and first-aid kits for Ukrainians. In June, he left France for Ukraine via Switzerland, Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic and Poland. He is currently in Lviv, from where he is heading to Kyiv. The planned route is about 4,5 K km.
