It has been the 780th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm:   

On 13 April, there were 60 tactical engagements.

The enemy launched a total of 1 missile and 65 air strikes, 71 MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements. Unfortunately, the russian terrorist attacks have killed and wounded civilians. Residential apartment blocks and private houses as well as other infrastructure were destroyed or damaged.

Towards Volyn and Polissia, there were no significant changes. No signs of enemy offensive groups formed were found.

Towards Siversk and Sloboda, the russian army maintains its military presence in the areas of russia bordering Ukraine. The enemy continues its sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shelling Ukrainian settlements from the territory of russia and increases the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine. The adversary launched air strikes in the vicinities of settlements of Volfyne, Pavlivka (Sumy oblast), Zahryzove, and Borova (Kharkiv oblast). The enemy fired artillery and mortars at more than 20x settlements, including Pavlivka, Vysoke (Chernihiv oblast), Vorozhba, and Seredyna-Buda (Sumy oblast).

Towards Kupiansk and Lyman, the enemy did not conduct any offensive (assault) operations. The invaders fired artillery and mortars at more than 10 settlements, including Nevske (Luhansk oblast), Terny, Yampolivka, and Zarichne (Donetsk oblast).

Towards Bakhmut, the Ukrainian troops repelled 28 attacks in the vicinities of Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Verkhnokamianske, Spirne, Rozdolivka, Novyi, Opytne, Andriivka, Ivanivske, and Klishchiivka (Donetsk oblast). With the air support, the invaders attempted to improve their tactical position in that area. More than 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Hryhorivka, Kalynivka, and Chasiv Yar (Donetsk oblast).

Towards Avdiivka, the Ukrainian defenders repelled 7 attacks in the vicinities of Novokalynove, Novobakhmutivka, Berdychi, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske (Donetsk oblast). With the air support, the invaders attempted to dislodge Ukrainian troops from their positions in that area. Also, the invaders launched airstrikes in the vicinities of Umanske and Verkhnotoretske (Donetsk oblast). They fired artillery and mortars at around 10 settlements, including Novokalynove, Novobakhmutivka, Semenivka, and Netailove (Donetsk oblast).

Towards Novopavlivka, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the vicinities of Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka, and Urozhaine (Donetsk oblast). The invaders made 16 attempts to breach Ukrainian defense in that area. The adversary launched air strikes in the vicinities of Staromykhailivka, Vodyane, Volodymyrivka, and Urozhaine (Donetsk oblast). More than 10 settlements, including Heorhiivka, Paraskoviivka, Kostiantynivka, and Vuhledar (Donetsk oblast), were under artillery and mortar fire.

Towards Orikhiv, with the air support, the enemy launched 3 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian defenders in the vicinities of Staromaiorske (Donetsk oblast) and northwest of Verbove (Zaporizhzhia oblast). The russian army launched airstrikes in the vicinities of Staromaiorske (Donetsk oblast) and Robotyne (Zaporizhzhia oblast). Around 20 settlements, including Poltavka, Chervone, Bilohiria, Novodanylivka, and Shcherbaky (Zaporizhzhia oblast), came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.

Towards Kherson, the enemy does not abandon its intention to dislodge Ukrainian troops from their bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnipro River. On 13 April, they launched 3 unsuccessful attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian troops in the vicinity of Krynky (Kherson oblast). The enemy fired artillery and mortars at more than 10 settlements, including Tiahynka, Ivanivka, and Poniativka (Kherson oblast).

The Ukrainian Air Force launched air strikes on 11 buildups of enemy troops, weapons and military equipment, 1 command post, 2 UAV ground control stations, and 1 anti-aircraft missile system.


Referring to the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine, more than 600 civilians were killed and wounded by russians in March. This is 20% more than in February. 

Denys Shmyhal, Prime Minister of Ukraine, informs that the government allocates an additional UAH 3.88 billion for the further construction of defense borders. Since the beginning of the year, almost UAH 30 billion has been allocated for the construction and equipping of fortifications.

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Kharkiv oblast

The press service of the Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported that at around 1:30pm, russians dropped a munition from an FPV drone in Petropavlivka, Kupiansk region, injuring an ambulance driver.

According to the Prosecutor’s Office, at 10:30am, Zahryzove village, Izium region, suffered russian shelling and as a result, private households were destroyed.

Viktor Kovalenko, Head of Zolochiv Village Military Administration, informed that the cemetery, power lines, houses and sheds were damaged as a result of shelling of Lemishchene village of Zolochiv community. According to him, russians attacked at around 06:45.

Oleh Syniehubov, Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, confirmed that after 1pm, the invaders shelled Kupiansk region again. A driver of an ambulance crew was injured as a result of a munition drop from an FPV drone. The 58-year-old driver was on his way to Petropavlivka. The medics provided all necessary assistance.

Mustafa Naiem, Head of the State Agency for Infrastructure Restoration and Development, said that Ukrenerho’s substations, where second-level defences are built, were also hit. According to him, all equipment protected by these structures survived. Thanks to this, power engineers and contractors managed to restore electricity supply in many cities and regions, including Kharkiv.

About 20 settlements in Kharkiv oblast were hit by enemy artillery and mortar attacks yesterday: Kozacha Lopan, Strilecha, Zemlianky and others. Lyptsi, Vovchansk, Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, Petropavlivka and Kurylivka were hit by airstrikes.

On 13 April, at 2:37am, Borova village of Izium region was hit. The invaders hit the previously damaged house of culture.

At 10:40pm, a house was burning in Kupiansk as a result of the shelling. A 62-year-old and a 72-year-old man were injured.

At 7:30pm, Novoosynove village  of Kurylivka community, Kupyansk region, suffered. As a result of hostilities, a house and a car burned down.

At 4pm, while working in the field, four men were injured in Shestakove village as a result of UAV shelling in Chuhuiv region. They were taken to hospital with multiple shrapnel wounds and mine-blast injuries. Agricultural machinery was damaged.

At 2:41pm, an outbuilding on the square burned as a result of shelling of the village of Lyptsi. Two warehouses of a private farm were damaged. The building of the factory was destroyed.

At 12pm, a 63-year-old man was injured in Vovchansk as a result of an explosive device dropped from UAV. At 12:34pm, a private house was burning as a result of hostilities.

At 11:15am, Monachynivka village of Kupiansk region was hit. A 72-year-old man and a 76-year-old woman were injured but not hospitalised.

On 12 April, at 12:05pm, a house was burning in Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi as a result of the shelling. A 65-year-old man was killed.

The enemy did not conduct any offensive towards Kupiansk yesterday.

Combined teams of bomb experts cleared 50.36 hectares of mines and destroyed 600 explosive ordnance.

Donetsk oblast

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Ukrainian military repelled 88 russian attacks on the frontlines of Donetsk, Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts on 12 April. Most of the attacks were towards Bakhmut and Novopavlivka.

Commander-in-Chief Syrskyi informed that the situation on the eastern front has “significantly worsened” in recent days. Also russian troops are storming Ukrainian positions with the support of armoured vehicles towards Lyman and Bakhmut and they are trying to break through the defences with dozens of tanks and armoured personnel carriers towards Pokrovsk. According to him, the russian army “periodically achieves tactical success”.

Yurii Fedorenko, Commander of the Achilles battalion of air defence systems, said that the russian army has not entered either the outskirts or Chasiv Yar as of the morning of 13 April.

The Ministry of Defence said that intense fighting continues for Bohdanivka towards Bakhmut. At night, russian assault groups made their way to the northern outskirts of the town, but it is under the control of the Defence Forces.

The wave of russian assaults continues: there is fighting near Bohdanivka and Ivanivske towards Bakhmut, and russians have already captured part of the territories of both villages. This is how they want to open the way to Chasiv Yar. Fighting also continues near Klishchiivka and Andriivka. At the same time, the Defence Forces are holding back russian army assaults near Marinka and Avdiivka.

According to Donetsk Regional Military Administration, this week, Selydove, Chasiv Yar, Niu-York, Krasnohorivka, Kurakhove, Kostiantynivka, Siversk, Druzhkivka, Lyman, Ocheretyne and Vuhledar communities were under constant attacks.

Also russians dropped a KAB-500 on Ocheretyne, hitting a 5-storey building. One person was certainly injured and there are probably people under the rubble, but a search operation is currently impossible due to the security situation. Yhe enemy also hit Netailove, killing two people.

A resident of Novoselydivka of Kurakhove community was killed. 1 person was injured in Krasnohorivka of Marinka community.

Roman Padun, Head of Kurakhove CMA, reported that on 13 April, the russian military shelled Novoselydivka. As a result, one woman was injured and hospitalised in moderate condition.

Donetsk police said that yesterday the russian army attacked Donetsk oblast 2226 times. 

The operational situation in the oblast as of the morning of 13 April is as follows:

Towards Pokrovsk, 1 person was killed and 1 injured in Krasnohorivka. Im Kurakhove community, a 2-storey building was damaged in Hostre and Vovchenka village shelled. Serhiivka of Hrodivka community was under attack.

Towards Kramatorsk, Yampolivka and Terny of Lyman community were shelled. 5 people were injured in Kostiantynivka.

Towards Bakhmut, in Niu-York, 1 person was killed and 2 injured, 3 houses damaged. A house was damaged in Siversk.

In total, russians attacked settlements of Donetsk oblast 13 times over the day. 154 people, including 23 children, were evacuated from the frontline.

Vadym Filashkin, Head of Donetsk RMA, said that yesterday russians killed 2 civilians in Niu-York and Krasnohorivka. Another 8 people were injured in the oblast over the day

Luhansk oblast

Artem Lysohor, Head of Luhansk Regional Military Administration, reported that there are combat actions near Bilohorivka. Our soldiers repel several russian attacks there every day. The enemy is continuously using mortars and artillery in other parts of the contact line, specifically, near Makiivka and Nevske. Nevske was hit by a multiple rocket launcher system. The invaders also used at least 17 UAVs there.

Police recorded another case of housing destruction in Novoliubivka, which was the result of shelling in 2024.

Luhansk police confirmed that 99% of the funds that were supposed to ensure the receipt of medicines under preferential prescriptions, including free of charge, were not used in the so-called “lpr” last year. Due to the inaction of the local “ministry of health”, the population, which has been participating in the reimbursement programme for many years, was forced to buy the medicines they needed at their own expense.

According to Luhansk Regional Military Administration, the university, which the invaders call Luhansk State Pedagogical University, operating in the occupied territory, provides free vocational training in the areas of russian language and literature and preschool education. Specifically, teachers with a diploma in Ukrainian Language and Literature are sent there, and those who have no valid refresher courses after 2014. They are ready to create human resources for propaganda among school students in 256 hours. 

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

Andrii Hota, Head of Tsentrenergo, reported that the Trypillia thermal power plant, destroyed by russian missile strikes, could be restored. He noted that the energy sector has already received equipment offers from European countries, but without providing Ukraine with air defence systems it would be pointless, given the constant danger of renewed russian attacks. The Trypillia thermal power plant in Kyiv oblast was destroyed as a result of a russian ballistic missile attack on 11 April.

Ruslan Kravchenko, Head of the RMA, said after a meeting with Kim Hyung-tae, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, that the country would help Kyiv oblast overcome the consequences of massive russian attacks on energy facilities.  This includes cogeneration units that would allow for decentralised electricity generation. The parties also discussed investment in Kyiv oblast economy.

Olena Osadcha, Rector of Boychuk Kyiv State Academy of Decorative and Applied Arts and Design, informed that part of the building was damaged by russian missile fire on 25 March and is almost destroyed. However, most classrooms and lecture halls are in satisfactory condition, so the academy starts teaching in the usual format this week. She added that students’ diploma works remained under the rubble in the destroyed workshops and classrooms, and it is planned to save them at least partially.

The RMA announced that applications for the training and employment program Razom have started in Kyiv oblast. This project allows veterans and their family members to master new professions and find employment free of charge. Program participants receive official employment and salary from the first day of training, as well as a free 20-week training course with covered accommodation, meals, and transportation to the training centre.

The official pages of Bucha, Hostomel, Bila Tserkva, Makariv, and Fastiv communities state that they are joining the charity event Give Light to Kharkiv. The goal of the campaign is to provide alternative energy sources to Kharkiv residents and help them get through the difficult period. The communities collect power banks, batteries, generators, flashlights, solar panels, and LED light bulbs. 

Boiarka City Council announced a book collection for Mykolaiv Regional Universal Scientific Library, which suffered from russian aggression. The books will be collected as part of the All-Ukrainian project Free to Read in Ukrainian! on the 210th anniversary of Taras Shevchenko’s birth.

In Kyiv, new letters have been installed at the renamed Ukrainian Heroes Square metro station. The letters were created individually due to the peculiarity of the historical font designed by designer Bohdan Hdal. The decision to de-russify the station was made a year ago – previously it was called Lev Tolstoi Square. 

Zhytomyr oblast

The Security Service of Ukraine exposed a prisoner recruited by the FSS in one of the correctional colonies of Zhytomyr oblast. The man was to assist russian subversive groups in the north of Ukraine after being released from prison. His task was to recruit other convicts with expiring sentences to engage in subversive activities against Ukraine. They were to be “dispersed” across Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, and Sumy oblasts to monitor the geolocation of the Defense Forces on the border.

The village council of Korop community announced raising more than UAH 42.000 for the FPV drone production to increase defence capabilities on the northern border of Ukraine. The creative team and brass band of the local House of Culture and artists of Horodyshche Community Center raised funds at the concerts, the teachers and schoolchildren organised fairs to help the Armed Forces and community members actively participated in the fundraising.

80 children of Malyn and 11 children of Potiivka communities received silver nominal pendants Father’s Heart. 91 amulets were presented to the children of fallen defenders by representatives of the civil-military union Combat Brotherhood of Ukraine.

Sumy oblast

Sumy RMA reported that at night, russians shelled Krasnopil community with 8 mortar explosions.

The russian military fired 20 times at the border areas and settlements of Sumy oblast with a total of 112 explosions recorded including attacks from mortars, artillery, MLRSs, and kamikaze drones. The enemy launched an airstrike on civilian infrastructure and the residential sector of Sumy, injuring three people. Mykolaiv, Myropil, Khotyn, Yunakivka, Bilopillia, Krasnopil, Velyka Pysarivka, Putivl, Shalyhine, Esman, Seredyna-Buda, and Svesa communities were also shelled.

The RMA informed that the emergency and restoration work after the airstrike on Sumy dated 12 April was completed. Among other things, rescuers insulated 55 window openings in five-story and two two-story apartment buildings.

According to Vorozhba City Council, houses, outbuildings, fences, power lines, gas pipeline, and Internet networks were damaged as a result of the russian shelling of Vorozhba at night on 12 April with emergency repair work ongoing. On 11 April, 15 private houses were damaged as a result of the settlement shelling by guided aerial bombs. A woman and her 16-year-old son were injured and hospitalised as a result of a direct hit to one of the private houses.

The Ministry of Energy informed that 1.1 thousand metering points in Sumy oblast were de-energized after the russian shelling, and restoration work is underway. According to the regional police, power lines in Vorozhba and Svesa communities were damaged.

The city council also added that in Sumy, residents of apartments damaged by a Shahed strike on the night of 13 March received certificates of inspection of the property damaged by russian armed aggression. So far, 16 people have registered for the state program eRestoration on the Diia portal and received a certificate for housing or construction purchase.

This year, Sumy oblast will receive UAH 150m to build school shelters. Such changes to the regions near the combat zone were approved through the state budget subvention to arrange safe conditions in secondary education institutions.

The government has allocated an additional UAH 3.88b for the defense lines construction with most of the funds to be spent on Kharkiv and Sumy oblasts’ fortifications. 

Chernihiv oblast

The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that in the morning, the russian army targeted a civilian car of a Novhorod-Siverskyi resident, who was carrying food to inhabitants of the border villages. The man was fatally wounded by the fire in the vehicle resulting from the attack.

Over the past day, russian troops fired 13 times at the border of Chernihiv oblast. According to the State Border Guard Service, a total of 67 attacks were recorded with mortars and artillery, including rocket launchers. Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, and Snovsk communities were under enemy fire.

Viacheslav Chaus, Head of the RMA, informed that 18 communities in Chernihiv oblast have sister-city relations with municipalities in the EU. In his words, such examples of cooperation with international partners exist not only at the level of regions but also at the level of districts.

The Verkhovna Rada Committee on the Organization of State Power, Local Self-Government, Regional Development and Urban Planning in Chernihiv Oblast has adopted a decision to rename two villages named “Pershoho Travnia”. The committee recommends changing the names to Mikhnovske (Pryluky region) and Zelenyi Hai (Chernihiv region).

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

Mykola Lukashuk, Head of the Oblast Council, reports that the occupants fired artillery at Pokrovsk community of Nikopol region. Closer to midnight, Marhanets community was also attacked. A total of about a dozen shells were fired. During the day, the occupiers attacked Nikopol region 8️ times. They launched 5 kamikaze drones and fired three times with artillery. They hit the regional center and Marhanets community. A medical facility, 2 shops, 3 private houses, 2 outbuildings and a power line were damaged.

Vinnytsia oblast

Serhiy Borzov, Head of Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration, reported on handing over 70 generators of various capacities to Kharkiv. 

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Vinnytsia oblast, says that rescuers held a public event for children called Prevent. Save. Help. The children saw rescue vehicles and equipment and learned about the important role of the SES in eliminating various kinds of emergencies. The rescuers also explained the basic rules of fire safety and how to behave when detecting suspicious objects.

Kirovohrad oblast

In the town of Dolynska, Kirovohrad oblast, residents met 21-year-old soldier Maksym Baryshnyk from the village of Malovodiane, who had been in Russian captivity for almost two years. Together with his comrades, he was captured during the defense of Mariupol. For two and a half months after his release, he underwent physical and psychological rehabilitation.

Poltava oblast

According to the secretary of the Poltava City Council, Kateryna Yamshchykova, Poltava community affected by the nighttime enemy strike will have windows installed as part of a window program created by the American organization Global Empowerment Mission in partnership with the Howard G Buffett Foundation.

Cherkasy oblast

A memorial plaque was unveiled in Cherkasy in honour of fallen police officer Vitalii Sahaidak. He was hit by an airstrike on May 22, 2022, in Zaporizhzhia. 

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

Ivan Fedorov, Head of Zaporizhzhia RMA, reported that on 12 April, the russian military conducted 410 strikes on 8 cities and villages in Zaporizhzhia oblast. 128 UAV attacks targeted Huliaipole, Levadne, Novoandriivka, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Chervonodniprovka, and Malynivka, while aviation, MLRSs, and artillery attacked other settlements. 

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, towards Orikhiv the Defense Forces repelled 7 russian attacks near Staramaiorsk in Donetsk oblast and Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia oblast.

Natalia Humeniuk, Head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine, announced that towards Orikhiv, the russian military is concentrating its forces between Robotyne and Verbove.

Mykolaiv oblast

According to Mykolaiv RMA, at 2:43am, the enemy shelled the waters of Ochakiv with artillery. At 2:58am, there was an enemy shelling attack on the city itself. No casualties were reported.

Odesa oblast

According to the press service of Odesa City Council, on 13 April, a meeting took place with representatives of the German organisation Life Bridge Ukraine GmbH and the Charity Foundation Morning of Revival regarding establishing a prosthetic centre in Odesa. According to the German partners, they are prepared to provide equipment for the centre in Odesa and conduct training for Ukrainian medical personnel in Germany. 

Oleksandr Kubrakov, Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine, reported that the volumes of goods transiting through the Black Sea and Danube ports are increasing daily. Ukrainian export figures are steadily approaching pre-war levels. Currently, there are 18 ships in Odesa port, 16 in Chornomorsk, and 7 in Pivdennyi. Among all the ships, there are 4 chemical tankers. It is also known that 5 ships are approaching the ports for entry and 7 for exit.

Odesa emergency medical service received nearly 500 mattresses and over 2000 bedding sets from donors. Odesa medics received 2 trucks of charitable aid from the charity organisation 100% Life Odesa.

According to the Flightradar portal, on 13 April, the American reconnaissance aircraft Boeing P-8A Poseidon was spotted near the southern borders of Odesa oblast. The NATO reconnaissance aircraft patrols the airspace of Romania and monitors the situation in Odesa and the Black Sea.

Kherson oblast

The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) thwarted an assassination attempt on the life of Head of Kherson RMA, Oleksandr Prokudin. During the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities, Vasyl Malyuk, Head of the SSU, announced that the man suspected of organising the attempt, in collaboration with russian special services, was detained.

In Kozatske (Kherson oblast), 2  residents were injured due to russian shelling. The men were hospitalised in moderate condition.

This morning, in a field near one of the settlements in Novoraisk community of Kherson oblast, a tractor driver ran over a russian explosive device. The man sustained shrapnel injuries and was hospitalised.

Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of Kherson RMA, said that on 12 April, russian forces shelled 19 settlements in Kherson oblast. A high-rise building, 3 private houses, a cellular tower, port infrastructure, gas pipelines, and vehicles were damaged, and 7 people injured.

The Southern Defense Forces liquidated 138 russian occupiers and destroyed 46 pieces of weaponry and military equipment. Among the destroyed assets were a Grad MRLS, a Buk anti-aircraft missile system, 2 tanks, 12 cannons, a mortar, 20 armoured vehicles, 3 electronic warfare stations, 3 drones, and 3 field supply points.

Latest news for today in the western regions of Ukraine

Volyn oblast

Lutsk City Council reported that this week, the community sent 11 Mavic 3T, 11 Mavic 3, 4 Mavic 3E, 30 FPV drones, 3 Starlink, 4 Ecoflow Delta, Avenger Booster, 4 Alientech II Duo, 10 Lenovo tablets, 2 Kvertus AD Counter FPV, 2 Kvertus AD G6+ and kits batteries for Mavic to various military units.

Zakarpattia oblast

Viktor Mykyta, Head of the RMA, during a working visit to Budapest was visited by the central office of the Hungarian Ecumenical Aid Service. They discussed the possibility of expanding the aid package for Kharkiv, which is currently in an extremely difficult situation related to attacks on the energy infrastructure. Over the past two years, the Hungarian Ecumenical Aid Service provided assistance to over 500,000 Ukrainians in Ukraine and Hungary, restored over 530 houses, and sent over 2,000 tonnes of humanitarian aid for a total amount of $26m. The total scale of support programs from February 2022 is $37.5m.

A delegation from the Czech region of Vysochyna, led by Zdenek Kadlec, Head of the ViZa CF, visited Zakarpattia with a humanitarian mission and handed over a 46-seater bus to Mukachevo border detachment.

The Volunteer Battalion Sonechko received a Mercedes Sprinter ambulance from Austria, where it worked in one of the city hospitals until recently.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, presented the Gold Star orders to defenders who were awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine, and to families of fallen soldiers who were awarded this title posthumously. Among those present were relatives of Ivan Krymskyi, fallen captain of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from Kosiv region. He came to the defence of Ukraine back in 2014. In May 2022, the soldier was killed in Donetsk oblast.

Lviv oblast

Defenders from Strii region, namely Andrii Odinak, Ivan Shemenev, Bohdan Nakonechnyi and Andrii Sheremet, were posthumously awarded the III degree For Courage Order by the President of Ukraine. State awards were handed over to relatives of fallen servicemen.

Para-arm wrestling training was held for veterans in Lviv oblast. The training was held for Ukrainian defenders who are currently undergoing rehabilitation at the Superhumans Centre. Volodymyr Mysko and Ivan Tovarnytskyi, athletes of DYSSHOI Halychyna, champions of Ukraine in para-armwrestling, and Bohdan Ivanytskyi, honoured coach of Ukraine and the president of Lviv Regional Armsport Federation conducted the training session.

The Complex Children’s and Youth Sports School №1 conducts free open archery training for military personnel and veterans. Over 30 soldiers and veterans who are currently undergoing rehabilitation took part in the first archery lesson.

Rivne oblast

The RMA reported that in view of the warm weather conditions, Invincible Centres are put into “ready to open” mode. That is, in the event of an emergency, they can be deployed within 2 hours. It is about Invincible Centers created on the basis of tents. Others are stationary and will continue to work.

Rivne City Council reported that an auction to purchase DJI Mavic 3 Pro drones with an additional battery was held in the city. The city will purchase 200 drones at the expense of taxpayers.

Ternopil oblast

Ternopil RMA sent a 55 kW generator to Kharkiv oblast. This equipment is a backup power supply unit. When the voltage in the network drops, it is automatically turned on, and after recovery, it turns off by itself. Such devices are important for ensuring a stable power supply. The generator will help communal institutions of Kharkiv oblast to perform their work and provide residents with services necessary for life.

Ternopil City Council reported that the community sent 3 AL 2200 portable charging stations and 5 ASUS TUF laptops to the infantrymen. In return, the military was presented with a sleeve in the shape of an angel.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

A rehabilitation department was opened for military personnel together with their families at the base of the Coast of Hope centre. The department is designed for 30 beds. The premises were completely renovated, modern medical equipment and equipment for physical and psychological rehabilitation were purchased. A new boiler house was built. The department has a functional kitchen, a salt room, massage rooms, halls for various types of rehabilitation. The total cost of the project is over UAH 5m. The staff was increased from 18 employees to 40. Experienced rehabilitators, psychologists, and medical workers work here. Some of them are former soldiers, combat medics. The first race will take place on 19 April.

Chernivtsi oblast

The Congress of Local and Regional Authorities under the President of Ukraine was held in Chernivtsi for the first time. They discussed security and countering threats, supporting national production, medical rehabilitation of the military and European integration.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, met with representatives of the World Congress of Ukrainians in Chernivtsi. They discussed how to activate international support and maintain the world’s attention to Ukraine.

Petr Pavel, President of the Czech Republic, after the Three Seas Summit in Vilnius, stated that his country found more than a million shells for Ukraine.

The US and Britain announced new bans on russian exports. The US Treasury Department reported that the new measures prohibit the import of aluminium, copper and nickel of russian origin to the US, and also limit the use of aluminium, copper and nickel of russian origin on global metal exchanges. These actions cement the obligation to fulfil the statement of G7 leaders regarding the reduction of russia’s income from the sale of metals.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, met with Klaus Iohannis, President of Romania. They discussed cooperation in the defence sphere.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, met with Andrzej Duda, President of Poland. The discussed nighttime rocket attacks on energy facilities, the difficult situation in Kharkiv, preparation of the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland, cooperation regarding the accession of Ukraine to the EU and NATO and the preparation of a bilateral security agreement.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, met with Tamas Shuyok, President of Hungary. They discussed preparation for the Global Peace Summit.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, met with Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Prime Minister of Greece. They discussed implementation of the agreements reached during the previous meeting.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, met with Mark Rutte, Prime Minister of the Netherlands. They discussed joint work with partners to speed up the supply of shells for artillery, ammunition and air defence systems.

Vitalii Koval, Head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, met with Yoshiki Takeuchi, Deputy Secretary General of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. This is a powerful international structure that unites 37 countries of the world. The Ukrainian team is also represented there.
