It has been the 721st day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm:   

The enemy continues to wage a war of aggression. Despite significant losses, they do not abandon plans to completely occupy Ukraine, ignore the laws and customs of war, use terror tactics, launch strikes, and attack both military and civilian targets. The enemy is actively using aircraft and FPV quadcopters, conducting assault operations with the support of armored vehicles.

The operational situation in eastern and southern Ukraine remains difficult.

There were 64 combat engagements.

The occupiers launched a total of 4 missiles and 91 air strikes, carried out 83 MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements. Russian terrorist attacks resulted in killed and wounded civilians. Residential private and apartment buildings, and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

Towards Volyn and Polissia, there were no significant changes and no signs of formation of an offensive group. Certain units of the armed forces of belarus continue their missions in the areas bordering Ukraine.

Towards Siversk and Sloboda, the enemy maintains its military presence in the areas of russia bordering Ukraine. The enemy continues its sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shelling Ukrainian settlements from the territory of russia and increases the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine. Over 20.settlements came under enemy artillery and mortar fire, including Seredyna-Buda, Druzhba, Bachivsk, Volfyne, Volodymyrivka, Oleksandrivka (Sumy oblast), Udy, Strilecha, Vovchansk, Nesterne, Chuhunivka, Dvorichansk (Kharkiv oblast).

Towards Kupiansk, the Ukrainian defenders repelled 1 attack in the vicinity of Ivanivka (Kharkiv oblast). The invaders fired from artillery and mortar at around 10 settlements, including Dvorichna, Ivanivka, Petropavlivka, Berestove (Kharkiv oblast).

Towards Lyman, the Ukrainian defenders repelled 1 assault near Terny (Donetsk oblast). They made attempts to break through Ukrainian defense. The occupiers launched air strikes in the vicinities of Riznykivka, Kuzmynivka, Rozdolivka (Donetsk oblast). The enemy fired from artillery and mortars at over 10 settlements, including Nevske, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Terny, Kolodiazi, Zakitne, Spirne, Pazeno (Donetsk oblast).

Towards Bakhmut, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 1 attack in the vicinity of Klischiivka (Donetsk oblast), where the occupiers made attempts to improve their tactical situation. The invaders launched air strikes in the vicinity of Ivanivske, New York (Donetsk oblast). Around 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Vasyukivka, Hryhorivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Andriivka, New York (Donetsk oblast).

Towards Avdiivka, the Ukrainian defenders repelled more than 25x attacks near Avdiivka and 3 more attacks near Sueverne and Nevelske (Donetsk oblast). The occupiers, with air support, continue their attempts to capture Avdiivka. The russian occupiers launched air strikes in the vicinity of Oleksandropil, Novooleksandrivka, Novokalynove, Ocheretyne, Novobakhmutivka, Orlivka, Lastochkyne (Donetsk oblast). The invaders fired from artillery and mortar at up to 20 settlements, including Oleksandropil, Keramik, Ocheretyne, Karlivka, Netailove, Nevelske (Donetsk oblast).

Towards Mariinka, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back the invaders in the vicinity of Krasnohorivka, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka (Donetsk oblast). In that area, the enemy, with air support, made over 20 attempts to improve its tactical situation. The invaders launched air strikes near Kostiantynivka (Donetsk oblast). The settlements of Krasnohorivka, Kurakhove, Heorhiivka, Pobieda, Katerynivka, Yelyzavetivka (Donetsk oblast) were under the occupiers’ artillery and mortar fire.

Towards Novopavlivka, the Ukrainian defenders repelled 1 attack south of Zolota Nyva (Donetsk oblast). They launched air strikes near Vodiane, Vuhledar, Shevchenko (Donetsk oblast). The enemy fired from artillery and mortar at around 10 settlements, including Vodyane, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Blahodatne, Staromaiorske (Donetsk oblast).

Towards Zaporizhzhia, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 2 attacks west of Verbove and Robotyne (Zaporizhzhia oblast). The occupiers’ aircraft launched strikes at the settlements of Mala Tokmachka, Robotyne (Zaporizhzhia oblast). Around 30 settlements, including Olhivske, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Bilohiria, Scherbaky, Lobkove, Stepnohirsk (Zaporizhzhia oblast), were under artillery and mortar fire of the occupiers.

Towards Kherson, the occupiers do not abandon their intention to drive Ukrainian units out of their footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro. During the day, the enemy made 7 unsuccessful assaults on positions of Ukrainian troops. The city of Kherson, the settlements of Mykhailivka and Kizomys (Kherson oblast) came under the occupiers’ artillery fire.

The Ukrainian Air Force launched air strikes on 10 buildups of troops, 1 air defense system of the occupiers.

The Ukrainian missile troops hit 6 buildups of troops, 5 artillery systems, 2 ammunition depots, 3 electronic warfare systems of the russian invaders.

The road leading to Avdiivka is completely shot by the occupiers. At the same time, about 900 people remain in the city. People leave on their own – 3-4 people each day. The city has reserves of humanitarian aid, water and medicines, although the situation in Avdiivka is very tense. Nevertheless, the Armed Forces of Ukraine took care of spare supply routes to Avdiivka in case the enemy cut the main logistics route. As of now, the situation on the battlefield is dynamic and can change literally every hour. Our troops are making every effort to hold the designated positions.  

The enemy ship was attacked by the Ukrainian “Magura V5” sea attack drones. The successful operation was carried out by special forces of “Group 13” of the Intelligence Forces of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, responsible for most of the recent attacks on ships of the Black Sea Fleet. The large amphibious ship “Caesar Kunikov” 775 is one of the newest russian ships, capable of accommodating 87 crew members on board. Moscow used it during wars against Georgia, Syria and Ukraine. The search and rescue operation of the occupiers was not successful.

12 developer ideas received $120,000 to develop unmanned platforms. 450 developers, engineers and innovators took part in the hackathon “Onslaught of Machines”, who joined teams and presented 122 ideas.  In total, more than 2,000 participants applied for participation in the event.  Among all the ideas, the jury members chose only 12, taking into account the readiness of implementation and scaling, as well as the assembly time.

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Illia Yevlash, Head of the press service of Khortytsia operational-strategic group, reported that over the day 224 invaders were eliminated and injured in the eastern section of the frontline. 128 units of enemy weapons and equipment were destroyed. This list includes 78 different types of UAVs. Three ammunition depots and 17 shelters were discovered and neutralised. They also found three tanks, four armoured personnel carriers, six D-30 cannons, two 2B9 Vasylok mortars, three 2S19 Msta-S cannons, a 2S7 Pion guns, 2S5 Hyacinth-S and 2A36 Hyacinth-B guns, a number of electronic warfare and video surveillance stations, a Strila-10 air defence system, 12 vehicles and eight mortars. The largest amount of attacks were from mortars. Over yesterday alone, there were about 400 out of 791 attacks in this sector. 36 attacks were carried out by UAVs.

Kharkiv oblast

According to Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, more than 20 settlements in Kharkiv oblast wee under enemy artillery and mortar attacks: Udy, Alisivka, Kozacha Lopan, Lukiantsi, Vovchansk, Vetarynarne, Dvorichna, Ivanivka, Synkivka, Petropavlivka and others.

The invaders launched airstrikes on Kruhle, Kupiansk region.

Around 11 am, the enemy attacked Vovchansk with artillery. There were at least 10 hits, including on the territory of the market, where locals were at the time. A 61-year-old woman was killed as a result of mine injuries and another 50-year-old woman injured.

Pyrotechnics cleared 13,8 hectares of territory and defused 195 explosive ordnance.

Donetsk oblast

According to Donetsk Regional Military Administration, two elderly women in Avdiivka and two men were killed in Bahatyr of Velyka Novosilka community as a result of russian shelling. In addition, 2 people were injured in Bahatyr. In the village, 7 private houses, a pharmacy and a shop were damaged.

Mykolaivka was under attack at around 2 pm and a residential area was hit. Two women, aged 62 and 74, were killed. In addition, one person was injured.

The press service of Donetsk police reported that the invaders launched 4 missile attacks on the city at night. A direct hit destroyed a five-storey building and a hospital building. Alao russians laun6 two missiles at the medical facility, with the main impact on the maternity department. Three patients were killed, an 8-year-old boy, his mother and a pregnant 38-year-old woman. Six people were injured, including a baby who would have been six months old tomorrow. As a result of the shelling of the five-storey building, 6 civilians were injured, including three children: a 7-year-old boy and two girls aged 12 and 16. In addition, Novohrodivka was under a massive attack. An enemy missile damaged a department store and an apartment building. A 41-year-old woman was injured. In total, as a result of night attack, 3 people inclined a child were killed and 13 people, including 4 children, injured. Overnight law enforcers provided assistance to the victims and evacuated people from the destroyed hospital. Many of the rescued patients were critically injured. Police paramedics together with the State Emergency Service and ambulance evacuated more than 50 people.

Towards Pokrovsk, Selydove suffered 4 missile attacks and as a result, 3 people were killed, 12 injured, a 5-storey building and a hospital building destroyed, 9 apartment buildings damaged. A person was injured and 21 apartment buildings and 5 administrative buildings were damaged in Novohrodivka. Avdiivka suffered numerous shelling and airstrikes. A building was damaged in Krasnohorivka. One more building was damaged in Hostre of Kurakhove community.

Towards Kramatorsk, a house was destroyed in Stavky of Lyman community. The outskirts of Kostiantynivka community were shelled.

Towards Bakhmut, 1 person was injured, 2 apartment buildings and 2 private houses were damaged in Chasiv Yar. An administrative building was damaged in Toretsk. An apartment building and 2 private houses were damaged in Siversk. 2 houses were destroyed and 4 more damaged in Zvanivka.

In total, russians attacked settlements in Donetsk oblast 23 times over the day. 58 people, including 12 children, were evacuated from the frontline.

Today search operations in Niu-York were suspended. They will resume once the security situation improves. On 12 February, the attack partially destroyed the entrance of a five-storey residential building. Preliminary, two people may be trapped under the rubble. 6 people lived in the building, 4 of whom were in the basement and were not injured. For three days, rescuers carried out rescue and search operations but each time they had to suspend the work due to targeted hostile shelling and a threat to life.

Since the beginning of the week, power engineers have managed to restore electricity supply to 12 settlements in the region, which is 4981 families. More than 70 repair teams are working in Donetsk oblast every day, ready to respond promptly to any damage.

The only evacuation route out of Avdiivka is being completely shelled by russians. 3-4 people a day leave the city and there are still 926 people remaining today.

Luhansk oblast

According to Luhansk Regional Military Administration, russians continue to try to break through Ukrainian defences in Bilohorivka. The enemy attacked there and near Novoiehorivka three times from the air. Another 17 times the invaders tried to strike with kamikaze drones. The territory of Serebrianka forest and the villages of Krasnorichensk community are under daily fire.

More than 2,500 gadgets have been delivered to the communities of the region to ensure quality education for children. Earlier, the regional state administration provided 4,081 units of computer equipment to educational institutions in the region. Today, there is still a need of 456 units of equipment, including 84 for students of vocational and professional higher education institutions and 372 for teachers.

Russians have introduced a paid service of specialists coming to the address to issue a russian passport. It can be ordered in the so-called “multifunctional centres”, which do not operate in all settlements of the so-called “lpr”. They have been opened in some frontline towns but there is still no mobile phone connection there. This means that this service is available only in certain areas.

Almost a week ago, thousands of residents of the so-called “lpr” were left without electricity, water and heating. The educational process in schools was suspended. Mobile communications have barely been restored in and around Dovzhansk. 

Starting from Saturday, the invaders will be going door-to-door to residents of the so-called “lpr” to ask them about their choice in the March vote and conduct necessary conversations. The TV channels of the occupied region are openly agitating exclusively for putin. Even those with Ukrainian passports were allowed to vote. Many small towns and villages, despite loud russian statements, have not yet been issued passports.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

In Kyiv, the number of people killed as a result of a russian missile attack on February 7 has increased to five people. Kyiv Mayor Vitaly Klychko reported that the injured woman from a house in the Holosiivsky district died in the hospital. Doctors fought for her life for a week, but she was in an extremely serious condition.

State secretaries of the Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development Jochen Flasbarth and Thomas Bagger of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany arrived in Kyiv. They came to discuss cooperation on recovery and Ukraine’s accession to the EU.

During the meeting, the head of Kyiv RMA Ruslan Kravchenko and Sweden’s ambassador to Ukraine Martin Oberg discussed Sweden’s participation in reconstruction projects in Kyiv oblast and attracting investments from Swedish companies. Currently, it is about getting involved in reconstruction projects implemented by the UN structure.

KCSA reported that at the beginning of February, mobile brigades of socio-psychological assistance to combatants and members of their families started working in the Kyiv Military Hub. The team includes a psychologist, a specialist in social work and a driver in a specially equipped car. Consultations are held face-to-face and online.

Zhytomyr oblast

Zhytomyr City Council reported that 18 FPV drones were handed over to the servicemen of the 95th brigade thanks to the “Zhytomyr drone” project. The “Zhytomyr Drone” project has been operating for three months. All drones that people have assembled have been tested. Some of them have been improved by engineers.

Berdychiv region administration reported that on February 13, another evacuation train from Donetsk oblast arrived in Berdychiv. 11 more migrants arrived in Zhytomyr oblast, including 2 children and 2 people with disabilities. The staff of the State Emergency Service organized assistance to the displaced persons in moving to the transport that will take them to their places of temporary residence in the Olevsk community of the Korosten region.

The editor-in-chief of “Suspilne Zhytomyr” Dmytro Klymenko reported that the signal of Ukrainian television and radio covers the villages of the Narodychi community (borders the republic of belarus), liberated from the russian occupiers. Broadcasting takes place through the T2 digital signal, as well as Ukrainian Radio – on FM waves. The coverage area of television and radio signals reaches up to half a hundred kilometers from the transmitters, which is quite enough for people to be able to hear and see the broadcasts.

Sumy oblast

Sumy RMA reported that during the past day, the russians carried out 39 shellings of the border territories and settlements of the oblast, 331 explosions were recorded – from mortars, artillery, a tank, SPG, AGS, kamikaze drone attacks and dropping VOG from an unmanned aerial vehicle. Khotyn, Yunakivka, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Myropillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Shalyhine and Seredina-Buda communities came under shelling. As a result of the shelling, according to the regional police, three private residential buildings, company property and a power line were damaged.

Sumy RMA reported that at night, the russians carried out 4 shellings of Esman and Shalyhine border communities, 10 mortar hits and machine gun fire were recorded.

Sumy RMA reported that the oblast received more than UAH 320 million for the completion of 16 reconstruction projects. Last year, communities implemented 25 reconstruction projects on their territory with state funds, co-financed with local budgets.

Chernihiv oblast

The SBGS reported that during the past 24 hours, russian troops carried out 7 shellings of Chernihiv oblast. 4 border communities were under enemy shelling: Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, Snovsk and Horodnyanka, a total of 24 mortar hits and 14 from AGS were recorded.

The regional department of education and science reported that the international organization UNICEF plans to allocate over UAH 67 million for the education of Chernihiv oblast during 2024-2026. The organization plans to cooperate with six communities: Chernihiv, Kulikivka, Mena, Bakhmach, Nizhyn and Bobrovytsya. Memorandums of understanding were signed with these communities on February 12.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

Yesterday in the evening and at night the occupiers again shelled Nikopol region with artillery. They fired about 15 shells at Chervonohryhorivka and Marhanets communities. There were no casualties or damage.

The occupiers attacked Nikopol region a dozen times. They launched 7 kamikaze drones, most of them at Marhanets community. They also shelled Nikopol and Pokrovsk community with artillery. A 33-year-old man was injured in the district center. He was hospitalized in a serious condition. A multi-storey building, a municipal institution, 7 private houses, 4 outbuildings and a gas pipeline were damaged.

Vinnytsia oblast

Serhii Morhunov, Head of the RMA reported that doctors of the mobile dental clinic provided services to more than 900 defenders. The specialists provide quality dental services both in Vinnytsia region and travel to other cities to serve the defenders of Ukraine. The mobile dental office was set up on the basis of the Medical Dental Center and is equipped with everything necessary for remote work. In total, this year’s community budget allocates more than UAH 800 million for the Care priority, which is 27% of the funds that are not included in the protected articles.

Kirovohrad oblast

Smoline village Council reported that an alley in memory of the fallen heroes was opened in Khmeliove village, Smolyn community. 7 portraits of the fallen defenders were installed, including senior sailor Dmytro Pokhylyi, lieutenant Andrii Hriadiushko, lieutenant Dmytro Kotliarenko, junior sergeant Vitalii Zhulinskyi, sergeant Serhii Kozachynskyi, junior sergeant Andrii Pavliuk, and police colonel Valentyn Chepliaka.

Poltava oblast

Kostiantyn Kukhar and Andrii Iskra were killed in February 2024. The soldiers lived in Poltava oblast and were killed in Donetsk region.

Kostiantyn Kukhar served as a grenade launcher. The soldier was killed on February 1 while performing a combat mission near Krasnohorivka, Donetsk region. The soldier was 22 years old.

Andrii Iskra had the rank of soldier. He was killed while performing a combat mission on February 12, 2024 near Avdiivka, Donetsk region.

Cherkasy oblast

Yurii Halkin was buried in Cherkasy region. He died in an accident after two years in captivity. The soldier from Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, died in a car accident in Dnipro on February 8. He returned to Ukraine on January 31, 2024 as part of a war prisoner exchange.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

Yesterday, the enemy launched 182 attacks on 17 populated areas in Zaporizhzhia oblast. The aggressors targeted Mala Tokmachka, Novodarivka, and Robotyne with 5 airstrikes, conducted 7 MLRS attacks on Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, and Robotyne, as well as 48 drone attacks on Malynivka, Charivne, Lobkove, and Novodanylivka. 122 artillery strikes hit the territories of Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Novodarivka, Levadne, Bilohiria, Piatyhatky, Kamianske, Stepnohirsk, and other frontline cities and villages. A 67-year-old resident of Mala Tokmachka lost his life as a result of the russian artillery strike on a residential building.

Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled three enemy attacks east of Mala Tokmachka and Robytne in Zaporizhzhia oblast. This was reported by the General Staff. The soldiers of the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade captured 11 russians. Among the captives are soldiers from the 71st Motorized Rifle Regiment of the russian federation: former prisoners, Dagestanis, and one resident of St. Petersburg.

The intensity of hostilities on Zaporizhzhia front has increased in recent weeks as russians formed new airborne assault units in the region. This was reported by the spokesperson for the voluntary unit “Legion of Freedom,” Kostiantyn Denysov. According to him, the russians are attempting to advance the “gray zone” and retake key points lost in the past few months.

The government allocated 1.3 billion hryvnias for the construction of fortifications in Zaporizhzhia oblast. Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmyhal announced this during a government meeting. The funds will come from the reserve fund of the state budget, local budgets, the military tax, and charitable funds in the special account of the National Bank of Ukraine.

Zaporizhzhia RMA reported that russians continue terrorizing people in the occupied territories. Residents of Berdiansk and Melitopol recently witnessed armed occupiers kidnapping men. The whereabouts of dozens of people from the  temporarily occupied territories remain unknown since the beginning of the occupation. Men and women of various ages and occupations are held captive. Since the beginning of 2024, russians have added seven residents of Zaporizhzhia oblast to the list of “terrorists and extremists.” All these men were abducted, forced to confess under torture, and are now being tried for “international terrorism.”

Mykolaiv oblast

On February 13, russian forces shelled Kutsurub community. There were no casualties. This information was reported by the head of Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitalii Kim.

Over 6,7K hectares of preserved lands have been burned on Kinburn Spit due to shelling. 209 fires have occurred in the park’s territory as of February 13. Fire monitoring is conducted based on the analysis of Sentinel-2 satellite imagery by scientific researchers of the national park. This information was provided by the National Park “Biloberezhzhia Sviatoslava.”

Odesa oblast

On February 13, a delegation led by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Canada to Ukraine, Mrs. Natalia Tchmotz, visited Odesa. The Canadian Ambassador met with Vice Admiral Oleksii Neizhpapa, the Commander of the Ukrainian Navy, to discuss the situation in the region. Attention was focused on the specifics of ensuring the safety of civilian navigation in the Black Sea and the operation of the Ukrainian grain corridor. The participants of the meeting also discussed the development of Ukrainian Navy capabilities and possible cooperation on this matter.

The project “Ukrainian Artillery” will be launched in Izmail. This is an entirely new form of creativity involving the drawing on fired shell casings of various calibers and other used weapons. Currently, this is the largest collection of art objects in the country, created by masters from all corners of Ukraine.

Kherson oblast

Kherson RMA reports that three people were affected as a result of a russian attack. A 14-year-old child in critical condition was taken to the hospital with explosive injuries, leg, and neck wounds. An 84-year-old Kherson resident with explosive injuries was also hospitalized, and medical examinations are being conducted. A 19-year-old man suffered a leg injury due to the shelling.

Today, the russian army shelled Kherson, resulting in a 60-year-old woman being injured. The victim was diagnosed with a limb injury. Occupiers also attacked Dniprovskyi district damaging with several apartments. One of the hits targeted a private garage.

Yesterday, the enemy conducted 37 shelling attacks, launching 164 projectiles using artillery, mortars, tanks, MLRS, UAVs, and aviation. The city of Kherson was hit with 37 projectiles. One person was killed, and six others were wounded due to russian aggression.

Over the past day, russian forces attacked Kherson, Beryslav, and Kherson regions with all available weapons. Residential infrastructure, medical and educational institutions, and public transport were affected.

Lvove was shelled with MLRS, as a result a 83-year-old woman was killed in the courtyard of her own house. Military forces dropped an ammunition from a drone onto the residential quarter in Havrylivka. A 72-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man sustained explosive injuries and fragmentation wounds to various parts of their bodies. Mikhailivka was under enemy artillery fire, resulting in a 47-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman receiving mine-blast injuries. Private houses and gas pipelines were damaged in Bilozirka and Kyzomys due to shelling, causing destruction and fires.

Powerful explosions were heard in Kherson. All areas of the city were under enemy shelling. russian forces shelled two medical facilities, a high school, a yacht club, a residential building, a trolleybus with passengers, and a car in Korabelnyi distrcit. Two women, aged 59 and 43, were injured, both with mine-blast injuries and concussions. Rsidential buildings and infrastructure were under enemy fire in Dniprovskyi district.

The Defense Forces destroyed three russian field ammunition points, an observation post, 72 occupiers, 1 artillery system, 11 guns, 4 mortars, 1 radio-electronic warfare complex, and 5 units of automotive equipment on the left bank of Kherson oblast. This was reported by the “South” Operational Command.

Sappers cleared two hundred thousand hectares in the de-occupied part of Kherson oblast. Most of the demined territories, namely 173 thousand hectares, are agricultural lands. Currently, 1060 sappers make Kherson safer every day.

Civilian captive and Nova Kakhovka resident, journalist Serhii Tsyhipa, who was kidnapped and unlawfully sentenced to 13 years in prison for “espionage” in Crimea, has developed a tumor the size of a quail egg. The russians also plan to transfer him to a high-security colony in russia, according to his wife. Currently, he is being held in Simferopol.

The rostov court sentenced Artem Baranov, kidnapped in Nova Kakhovka  to 10 years and six months in prison. He was charged with “espionage.” This information was reported by the ZMINA Human Rights Center, citing Artem Baranov’s civilian wife, Ilona Slyva.

The russians will try a resident of Henichesk for “participation in an armed formation prohibited in russia.” Occupiers accuse the man of allegedly supplying goods for equipping the battalion base near the Chongar and participating in the blockade of Crimea in 2014-2015. This information was reported by the occupational Investigative Committee of the russianfFederation in Kherson olasst. The accused allegedly confessed to his “guilt” during questioning, and was taken into custody afterwards.

Volunteers delivered another humanitarian aid shipment to residents of Zmiivka. In total, donors brought and distributed a hundred repair kits among local residents. These kits contain materials necessary for urgent repair work.

Antonivka residents will receive five hundred cubic meters of firewood as part of the “Warm Kherson oblast” project implemented by the charity fund “Sky of Ukraine” with the support of “Samaritan’s Purse.” They are also provided with warm blankets, lanterns, and generators.

Nine children from the Kherson oblast had a recuperation trip to Paris. These are children from families of fallen Defenders of Ukraine, veterans of war, and those living in frontline settlements of the region. The project is implemented by the charitable foundation “Cultural Diplomacy.”

Volyn oblast

The RMA held a meeting with family medics of Volyn oblast. The integration of mental health services at the level of primary medical care was discussed.

Zakarpattia oblast

Zakarpattia oblast and Lublin Voivodeship signed an agreement on cooperation. In particular, they agreed on the participation of Zakarpattia universities in the Trimore Initiative University Network, which was founded under the auspices of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin.

Petro Dobromilskyi, Deputy head of the RMA, is in Lithuania as part of the Ukrainian delegation on a working trip. The visit is devoted to the study of the experience of this country regarding the development of family forms of upbringing, transformation of the system of care and upbringing of children.

On the initiative of the deputy chairman of Zakarpattia Regional Council, a jeep was sent to the military. The all-wheel drive Nissan Navara pickup will be sent to the unit that ensures the protection of the critical infrastructure of the oblast. The jeep will serve soldiers during missions, increasing their mobility.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

Ivano-Frankivsk city council reported that the community sent computer equipment at the request of one of the military units.

Lviv oblast

Yavoriv community got rid of the soviet warning systems. Five years ago, only old electromechanical sirens were installed in the community. They covered only 1% of the population. Already since 2020, the community has spent almost UAH 3 mln on the development of the notification system. Of them, over UAH 200K are funds from the regional budget. They were provided as part of the co-financing of the Comprehensive Program Safe Lviv Oblast. Thanks to this, coverage of the population as a whole increased to 61%. And in Yavoriv – up to 90%. Last year, using the funds of the regional budget, modern notification devices were purchased for 57 communities of Lviv oblast.

Residents of Sokol raised over UAH 40K for the Armed Forces. The entire community of the village of Sokolya, in Yavoriv region, joined the collection of funds for compatriots who are currently at the front. Part of the funds was transferred to a compatriot, the commander of the drone control department. Another UAH 10K for car repairs for soldiers of the 125th Territorial Defense Brigade. With the remaining funds, they purchased a charging station for the military in Donetsk oblast.

Ihor Zhuk and Taras Demidont from Chervonohrad region received the Golden Cross badge of honor for the successful completion of a combat mission. The soldiers were honored in accordance with the Order of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Rivne oblast

Oleksandr Koval, Head of the RMA, met with Vadym Svyridenko, representative of the President of Ukraine on rehabilitation of combatants. In Rivne oblast, the veterans themselves are involved in the implementation of the veteran policy. The oblast will continue to develop a people-oriented approach.

The state of protection against cyber threats will be diagnosed in Rivne RMA. Analysis of the state of cyber protection of the information and communication systems of the apparatus and structural divisions will be conducted within the framework of the USAID technical assistance project Cyber ​​Security of Critically Important Infrastructure of Ukraine. The EY Ukraine Digital company will be directly engaged in diagnostic measures. Ernst & Young is a world leader in the fields of auditing, strategy and consulting, etc.

The RMA reported that Rivne regional consumer union bought two drones for the military and received the flag of the combat unit as a gift.

Ternopil oblast

The National Guard of Ukraine received 50 FPV drones complete with batteries thanks to the taxpayer funds. The equipment was purchased as part of the Defense Capability program for 2024 in order to provide the necessary equipment for combat missions.

Ternopil community sent reconnaissance equipment, namely, four DL Mavic 3T quadcopters, two DJ Mavic 3 quadcopters, three DJI Mavic 3 fly more combo quadcopters, and 50 FPV drones worth UAH 1 mln 905K to defenders.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

Two soldiers from Volochysk community were awarded the III degree For Courage orders. Two servicemen from Horodochnya were awarded the III degree Order of Courage and the III degree Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi. All honors are posthumous.

Chernivtsi oblast

Storozhynetsk and Mamaivsk communities are implementing the project Multisectoral humanitarian aid taking into account disabilities for IDPs, repatriates, veterans and host communities in Ukraine. Within its framework, financial assistance (UAH 3,7K – UAH 4,2K) was provided to 432 persons, technical means of rehabilitation, assistive technologies were provided to 62 persons, and 4 social workers received bicycles. Also, during the advocacy company Inclusive communities – joint actions to protect the rights of people with disabilities and with their participation, relevant training and meetings were held.

International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)

The US Senate finally approved the law containing the aid package for Ukraine. The bill provides $95.3 bln for three countries: Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan. Senators are currently voting. But there are already more than 60 votes, out of the 50 required. After the vote in the Senate, the bill will be sent to the House of Representatives for consideration.

The Netherlands are joining a military coalition that will provide Ukraine with advanced drone technology and strengthen its offensive capabilities in the war against russia. Participation in the coalition for the Netherlands is in addition to the announced F-16 fighter jets, as well as artillery, ammunition and air defense systems, which the country already provides to the Ukrainian side.

Finland sent 6 ambulances equipped with medical equipment to Ukraine. These ambulances have all the necessary equipment to save the lives of people who are under constant shelling in the east of Ukraine.
