It has been the 720th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm:   

The enemy continues to wage a war of aggression. Despite significant losses, it does not abandon its plans for the complete occupation of Ukraine, ignores the laws and customs of war, uses terror tactics, launches strikes, and attacks both military and civilian targets. The enemy is actively using aircraft and FPV quadcopters, conducting assault operations with the support of armoured vehicles.

The operational situation in eastern and southern Ukraine remains difficult.

On February 13, there were 52 combat clashes.

The occupiers launched a total of 1 missile and 94 air strikes, carried out 89 MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements. Unfortunately, russian terrorist attacks resulted in killed and wounded civilians. Residential private and apartment buildings, and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

Towards Volyn and Polissia, there were no significant changes. No signs of formation of an offensive group were noticed. Certain units of the armed forces of belarus continue their missions in the areas bordering Ukraine.

Towards Siversk and Sloboda, the russian army maintains its military presence in the areas of russia bordering Ukraine. The enemy continues its sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shelling Ukrainian settlements from the territory of russia and increases the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine. The enemy launched an airstrike at the settlement of Kruhle (Kharkiv oblast). More than 20 settlements came under enemy artillery and mortar fire, including Hremiach, Zarichchia, Korenok, Pavlivka (Sumy oblast), Udy, Alisivka, Kozacha Lopan, Lukiantsi, Vovchansk, and Veterynarne (Kharkiv oblast).

Towards Kupiansk, the enemy conducted no offensives, however launched 2 airstrikes at the settlement of Novoiehorivka (Luhansk oblast). The invaders fired artillery and mortars at around 10 settlements, including Dvorichna, Ivanivka, Synkivka, and Petropavlivka (Kharkiv oblast).

Towards Lyman, the Ukrainian defenders repelled 2 assaults near Yampolivka (Donetsk oblast) and Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast). In that area the adversary made attempts to breach Ukrainian defense, to no success. The occupiers launched 5x air strikes in the vicinities of Terny, Rozdolivka (Donetsk oblast), and Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast). The enemy fired artillery and mortars at more than 10x settlements, including Nevske, Serebryans’ke forestry (Luhansk oblast), Spirne, Torske, Serebrianka, and Rozdolivka (Donetsk oblast).

Towards Bakhmut, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 8 attacks in the vicinities of Bohdanivka, Ivanivske and Klishchiivka (Donetsk oblast), where the occupiers made attempts to improve their tactical situation. The invaders launched an airstrike in the vicinity of Chasiv Yar (Donetsk oblast). Around 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Kurdyumivka, Bohdanivka, Klishchiivka, Niu York, and Chasiv Yar (Donetsk oblast).

Towards Avdiivka, the Ukrainian defenders repelled 10 attacks near Avdiivka and 2 more attacks near Nevelske (Donetsk oblast). In that area, the occupiers, with air support, made attempts to breach Ukrainian defense. The russian occupiers launched 2 air strikes in the vicinity of Orlivka (Donetsk oblast). The invaders fired artillery and mortars at around 20 settlements, including Berdychi, Stepove, Lastochkyne, and Avdiivka (Donetsk oblast).

Towards Marinka, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back the invaders in the vicinities of Heorhiivka, Pobieda, and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk oblast). In that area, the adversary, with air support, made 11 attempts to improve its tactical situation. The invaders launched air strikes near Kostyantynivka (Donetsk oblast). The settlements of Kurakhove, Heorhiivka, Kostyantynivka Pobieda, Novomykhailivka, Paraskoviivka, and Pervomaiske (Donetsk oblast) were under artillery and mortar fire.

Towards Novopavlivka, the russian invaders conducted no offensives. The enemy launched an airstrike near Novodarivka (Zaporizhzhia oblast). The enemy fired artillery and mortars at around 10 settlements, including Vuhledar, Staromaiorske (Donetsk oblast), Levadne, and Novodarivka (Zaporizhzhia oblast).

Towards Zaporizhzhia, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 1 attack east of Mala Tokmachka (Zaporizhzhia oblast). The occupiers’ aircraft launched strikes at the settlements of Dolynka, Zhovta Krucha, Mala Tokmachka (Zaporizhzhia oblast). Around 20x settlements, including Poltavka, Huliaipole, Chervone, Mala Tokmachka, Robotyne and Piatykhatky (Zaporizhzhia oblast), were under artillery and mortar fire.

Towards  Kherson, Odesa operational-strategic group, the occupiers have not abandoned their intention to drive Ukrainian units out of their footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro. Thus, during the day, the enemy made 1 unsuccessful assault on the positions of Ukrainian troops. The city of Kherson, the settlements of Tokarivka, Romashkove (Kherson oblast) came under artillery fire. The invaders launched air strikes in the vicinity of Krynky (Kherson oblast). Also, the occupiers carried out MLRS strikes in the vicinities of Tyahynka, Ivanivka, and Krynky (Kherson oblast).

The Ukrainian Air Force launched air strikes on 11 buildups of troops, 1 command post, 3 locations of air defense systems of the occupiers. Ukrainian air defense forces shot down 16 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs.

The Ukrainian missile troops hit 1 buildup of enemy troops, 4 artillery systems, 1 command post, 2 ammunition depots, and 1 electronic warfare system of the russian invaders.


The russian strike on the oil depot in Kharkiv contaminated more than 10K square meters of territory. Data is currently being collected on all casualties, destruction and contamination of soil and water due to the Russian drone attack. According to preliminary data, the damage to the tank farm resulted in a leak of diesel fuel and gasoline. The base stored more than 3,800 tons of fuel. In addition to contaminating the land, oil products also got into the Nemyshlia River.

Andrii Yusov, representative of the Ukrainian Intelligence, informs that russia ignores Ukraine’s requests to hand over the bodies of prisoners allegedly killed in the IL-76. Ukraine has appealed to russia to return the bodies of prisoners who allegedly died as a result of the downing of the IL-76 aircraft, but the occupiers do not respond to requests. As part of the exchange, Ukrainians who were to be exchanged on January 24 returned home on January 31, except for 65 people who were allegedly on board the downed plane. In Ukraine, the status of these 65 soldiers, whom the russians declared allegedly dead, has not changed – they are considered prisoners of war, so Kyiv is requesting their return. 

The Director of Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise informs that on February 7, Russia used the  recently assembled 3M22 Zircon hypersonic cruise missile for the first time in Ukraine. According to the manufacturer,The Zircon missile has the following characteristics: range – 600-1500 km, speed up to 8-9 Mach, warhead weight about 300-400 kg, and length 8-10 m. However, according to KFI, the weapon does not meet the stated tactical and technical characteristics. In the course of further research, the information will be detailed. 

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

 In a morning briefing, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reports that defense forces repelled 75 attacks in Donetsk and Luhansk regions over the past day.  Avdiivka sector remains the hottest spot. In particular, Klishchiyivka, Niu York, Avdiivka, Lastochkine, Novokalynove, Kostiantynivka, and Novomykhailivka were hit by airstrikes.

Kharkiv oblast

Kharkiv regional police reported that at about 11 am, russian troops fired artillery at the central part of Vovchansk. As a result of the occupier’s actions, a 61-year-old civilian woman died of a mine-blast injury, and another 50-year-old civilian was wounded. At the time of the shelling, people were at the local market. In total, there were about 10 hits. The market in Vovchansk was already 80% destroyed. There are no power outages in the city.

At 7:30, two civilian men died as a result of hostile shelling of an agricultural enterprise in the village of Kurylivka, Kupyansk region. Another civilian man aged 36 and a woman sustained blast injuries, their condition is assessed as moderate.

About 15 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Udy, Kozacha Lopan, Lukianets, Vovchansk, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Hlyboke, and others.

Around 22:00, the enemy fired at Kupiansk. A private residential building was damaged.

At 12:43, the village of Slobozhanske, Kharkiv region, was shelled. There were no casualties.

At 12:35, the village of Lyptsi, Kharkiv oblast, was shelled. There was no information about the victims.

At 12:34, the occupiers shelled the outskirts of Kozacha Lopan, Kharkiv region. No casualties were reported. 

Towards Kupiansk, Ukrainian troops repelled two attacks near Synkivka and Tabaivka.

Electricity supply was restored to 3K customers in Kupiansk. In Vovchansk, the overhead line that was damaged on February 11 was repaired, and 10K customers have electricity.

Over the course of the day, 11.82 hectares of territory were cleared of mines, and 154 explosive ordnance destroyed.

More than 50 residents of the Kharkiv region have purchased new housing to replace the one destroyed by the occupiers as part of the state program “eRestoration”. These are 44 apartments and 7 private houses. The total value of the acquired real estate is over UAH 86 million, of which 83.8 million was paid in housing certificates, funded by the state. Since the launch of the state program, residents of Kharkiv oblast have filed 28,133 applications for compensation. The highest number of cases was registered in Izium, Kharkiv and Chuhuiv regions. More than 14,300 people have already received payments to repair housing damaged as a result of russia’s armed aggression in the amount of UAH 1.35 billion. As of now, in 24 communities of the region, the commissions have issued more than 811 certificates of compensation for destroyed property worth UAH 1.14 billion.

Donetsk oblast

The press service of Donetsk police informs that the day before, the russian army fired shells at 14 localities: the towns of Kurakhove, Selydove, Chasiv Yar, the villages of Ostre, New York, Tsukurine, Mykhailivka, Netailove, Novopokrovske, Novoukrainka, Pervomaiske, Predtechine, Rai Oleksandrivka, and Umanske. The enemy attacked with KAB-500 guided missiles, S-300, Uragan MLRS, and artillery. 54 civilian objects were damaged, specifically 44 residential buildings, a kindergarten, a school, an administrative building, an outbuilding, cars, a gas pipeline, and a power line.

Volnovakha region. According to the RMA, 2 houses were damaged in Novoukrainka of Vuhledar community.

Pokrovsk region. Avdiivka suffered several ai strikes and massive shelling. In Marinka community, Krasnohorivka, Kostiantynivka and Paraskoviivka were shelled. A house in the Kurakhivka community was damaged in Horoshne, Kurakhivka came under fire. 

Kramatorsk region. The community of Lyman suffered 9 attacks, and the outskirts of Kostyantynivka community were shelled.

Bakhmut region. russians drop a guided bomb on Niu York, injuring 1 person and damaging 17 private homes, a kindergarten, and a high-rise building. A house in Petrivka in Toretsk community was also damaged. In Chasiv Yar community, 4 private houses, 3 multi-storey buildings and 2 non-residential premises were damaged. In Siversk, 5 streets were shelled.

Khrystyna Voiak, Spokeswoman for the Rubizh brigade of the National Guard, says that the russian army continues to put pressure on the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Klishchiyivka and Andriyivka and advanced near Bohdanivka in the Bakhmut sector.

In total, the russians fired 18 times at the settlements of Donetsk oblast over the last day. 80 people were evacuated from the front line, including 16 children.

The Mobile Clinics project is being implemented in Donetsk oblast to provide medical care to people in frontline communities. As part of the cooperation between Donetsk Regional Military Administration, the Department of Chief Inspection and Human Rights and the Public Health Alliance, local residents are diagnosed with their health conditions, receive first aid and medicines necessary for treatment according to the diagnoses.

In Mariupol, the occupiers plan to hold celebrations to mark February 24, when rRussia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, calling it a “special military operation.” Petro Andriushchenko, Advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, spoke about this. School students will be involved in creating a “big picture of support for russia” in the occupied territories.

Luhansk oblast

Luhansk Regional Military Administration reported that the enemy tried to advance south of Nevske, but failed to break through the Ukrainian defense. Due to unfavorable weather conditions, the total number of enemy attacks slightly decreased.

At the same time, russians use unmanned aerial vehicles whenever possible. Yesterday they launched 11 attacks. However, the Ukrainian military defuses two to three times their number in the air every day. 

Nevske and Serebrianka forestry were affected by artillery and mortar shelling.

On February 17, the occupiers will start door-to-door visits to residents of the so-called “lpr”. Teams formed from members of precinct election commissions will ask Luhansk residents who they plan to vote for. If they do not like the answer, they will campaign for a single candidate. Relevant printed materials have been prepared.

Residents of Dovzhansk and neighbouring settlements were left without power after the bad weather. Due to the indifference of the local occupation authorities and the lack of sufficient utilities, the population began to remove uprooted trees from the streets and clear damaged sections of the power system on their own. However, they cannot repair the downed power poles.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

According to Oleksandr Ruvin, Head of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise, on February 7, during a missile attack on Kyiv, the enemy used a 3M22 Zircon hypersonic missile. This is an anti-ship hypersonic cruise missile adopted by the russian federation in January 2023. The use of the missile is evidenced by the labelling on parts and debris, the identification of components and parts, and the features of the relevant type of weapon. The missile was fired into an area where there are no military facilities. 

According to the Ministry of Health, an ambulatory care centre damaged during the occupation and looted by russians has been restored in Hostomel. The windows and facade of the building were damaged, the inside was destroyed and medical equipment was stolen. The healthcare facility has now not only been fully restored, but also new medical equipment purchased and installed thanks to the support of the USAID Ukraine project.

Vadym Tokar, Head of Makariv village, reported that 991 applications for financial assistance for housing repairs under the eRestoration programme were approved in Makariv community. The total amount of payments is over UAH 85 million. 36 residents who applied for the programme through the Diшa app have already received certificates for the purchase of new housing.

There are still 103 National Guard servicemen in russian captivity who were protecting the Chornobyl nuclear power plant and were captured by russian troops during the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022. The Chornobyl NPP defenders fulfilled all international obligations to ensure radiation safety and did not engage in hostilities on the plant’s territory. On the first day of the full-scale war, in violation of international law, the ChNPP was occupied by russian troops. Ukrainian soldiers were held directly on the territory of the nuclear power plant for more than a month, receiving a seven-month radiation dose.

Vitalii Klychko, the mayor of Kyiv, reported that last year, Kyiv allocated more than UAH 230 million at the request of the 112th separate territorial defence brigade. At the end of last year, the brigade purchased 1,500 FPV drones and 200 Mavic quadcopters for the funds allocated by the city.

According to Kyiv City State Administration, psychological support training will be held for combatants and their families on February 14 at the Kyiv Military Hub. Also, on February 15, combatants and their families can visit the exhibition called Azovstal. New Meanings  at the National Museum of History of Ukraine.

In Irpin, solar panels were installed in the pre-school department of a gymnasium. This will ensure uninterrupted power supply in the event of a power outage.

Zhytomyr oblast

According to Zhytomyr RMA, for 2 months, mobile medical teams have been visiting the northern communities of Zhytomyr oblast to restore access to medical services for local residents in Narodychi, Olevsk and Slovechne communities. The project has created three mobile medical teams consisting of a doctor, a nurse, a psychologist and a social work specialist.

At the beginning of 2024, the Uplifting Centre Charitable Foundation received humanitarian aid for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and civilians in the war zone from HHM Helsehjelp Ukraine. This includes 2 four-wheel drive vehicles and important supplies. This assistance is essential for the effective evacuation and first aid of the wounded at the frontline and civilians affected by the fighting.

Sumy oblast

According to Sumy RMA, at night and in the morning of February 13, the russian army fired 10 times at the border areas and settlements of Sumy oblast. There were 38 explosions from mortars and MLRS. Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Hlukhiv and Shalyhyne communities were shelled. 

It is reported that the russian military carried out 14 shelling of the border areas. There were 59 explosions – from mortars, artillery, a kamikaze FPV drone and the dropping of explosives from a UAV. Khotin, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, and Velyka Pysarivka communities came under hostile fire.

According to Sumy RMA, 11 medical institutions of the oblast received 31 lung ventilators from our Italian partners. 

Chernihiv oblast

Chernihiv plans to demolish a building on Kniazha Street that was damaged by russian shelling on February 27, 2022. The 19th-century historical monument, which used to house the city’s children’s dental clinic before the shelling, came under enemy attack in the city centre. The building cannot be restored. The roof was smashed, the walls between the offices damaged and windows broken.

Valentyn Honcharov, a soldier from the village of Yablunivka, Nizhyn community, was rescued from russian captivity. He was captured while holding positions with his comrades in the area of Pishchane village, Luhansk oblast. Valentyn was released on February 8 during the 51st exchange of prisoners of war. 

Oleksandr Lomako, acting mayor of Chernihiv, reported that a council will be set up to systematise applications for military needs and determine priority areas of assistance. The council will include representatives of volunteer organisations.

Trostianets City Council reported that the City Hospital received medical humanitarian aid from the Ukrainian Association 24 Febbraio from Italy. The medical institution received 219 boxes of broad-spectrum medicines, diapers, baby food, 5 baby scales, a children’s table and chairs.

Since September last year, volunteers of Because We Can organisation have made about 30K trench candles. They make 200 to 500 candles a day. Every Saturday, anyone can join the candle-making process or help with the purchase of paraffin wax.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

The enemy launched a massive drone attack on the oblast. 10 Shaheds were destroyed by the military over Dnipro region. There were damaged infrastructure facilities. Several fires broke out which were quickly extinguished. Late in the evening the occupiers shelled artillery at Nikopol region. They launched about 15 shells. They hit Nikopol, Myrove and Marhanets communities. In the regional center 3 private houses were damaged, an outbuilding destroyed, another damaged, and several dozen solar panels hit. No one was injured.

In the morning a 64-year-old man was killed in Nikopol region. Two other 53-year-old residents of the city were wounded by a kamikaze drone. They sought medical assistance on their own. In total, about a dozen attacks were carried out in the region during the day. The enemy launched 7 kamikaze drones and fired more than three and a half dozen artillery shells. Nikopol, Myrove, Marhanets and Pokrovsk communities were under attack. An educational institution, 14 private houses, 7 outbuildings, 2 cars, garages and power lines were damaged.

50 bags for paramedics were sent to the front line.  They contain everything necessary for first aid, namely anti-burn products, which are almost always needed when evacuating the wounded from their positions. There are also bandages, dressings and hemostatic materials, oxygen equipment and much more. This assistance was made possible thanks to the long-standing and friendly relations between Dnipropetrovsk oblast and Poland.

Vinnytsia oblast

12 soldiers are undergoing treatment at the Prometheus Pain and Rehabilitation Center which was opened in Vinnytsia by 3 local residents. Phantom pain is treated using the latest technologies borrowed from the United States and Israel. Classes are free of charge. There is other equipment for dealing with chronic pain, including suspension systems and various exercise bikes. Now they are in the process of licensing and training. The rehabilitation center also uses the virtual reality method to treat phantom pain. Sviatoslav Nikolaichuk, a veteran of the russo-Ukrainian war and 2 other doctors Dmytro Dmytriev and Serhii Kovalenko founded the Prometheus Pain Treatment and Rehabilitation Center. Concerned people helped with the equipment and the city authorities with premises renovation. The idea was implemented within a year. The center works by appointment. The transportation of patients to the center is free.

Fifth-grader Yaromyr Moroz and his peers from Lyceum No. 18 collected 25 sets of thermal underwear, chemical heating pads, dry showers, goodies and letters of gratitude from Vinnytsia children for the soldiers serving in the military unit A0515-N of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine and the 66th Separate Mechanized Brigade. 

The Department of Social Policy and the city’s social structures purchased a satellite modem for the military. The wife of a fallen soldier who raised funds for Starlink for the Chervona Kalyna 14th Assault Brigade also joined the fundraiser. 

Kirovohrad oblast

According to the South Operational Command, yesterday, russian troops launched a missile attack probably with an Iskander-K cruise missile against Kirovohrad oblast. A fire broke out at an infrastructure facility. No casualties.

Defenders from the oblast, Ihor Psiarovskyi, Maxym Danilov, Konstantyn Trushyn and Olexander Rudyi, were killed on the frontline.

Ihor Psiarovskyi was killed on February 8 during an artillery attack near Pervomaiske village of Pokrovsk region, Donetsk oblast.

On February 7, Maksym Danilov from Velyka Severynivka community was killed near Berestove village, Kupiansk region of Kharkiv oblast.

Sergeant Konstiantyn Trushyn was killed on February 7 in Bakhmut region, Donetsk oblast.

On February 8, 45-year-old senior sergeant Olexandr Rudyi died as a result of enemy shelling towards Zaporizhzhya.

Poltava oblast

Poltava City Council received 260 applications from families of fallen Ukrainian defenders to honour them on Chestnut Alley. They are received at the Department of Culture. Other fallen soldiers families are also helping to collect information.

The first ten structures under the Poltava Remembers Heroes project with 20 photographs have now been manufactured and delivered. This was done in accordance with the tender. According to the documentation, the contractor has to produce 100 information boards by April 22.

Cherkasy oblast

In Cherkasy, the military museum is replenished with exhibits from volunteers, the military and their families. Currently, there are more than 10 K items with stories of pain and joy. Since its opening, the museum has been visited by 50K people. The military exhibits include stories of people in photographs and objects. One of them is about love on the frontline. There are destroyed tanks and pieces of eliminated enemy equipment. Among the museum’s visitors are defenders, volunteers, IDPs and children.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

Zaporizhzhia RMA reported that on February 12, the russian military launched 127 strikes on 17 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast. Huliaipole, Novodanylivka, Novodarivka, Malynivka, Charivne, Mala Tokmachka, Poltavka, and Luhivske were attacked by 31 UAVs, while artillery was used in other settlements.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled an attack by russian forces to the west of Novopokrovka on Zaporizhzhia axis.

According to the Air Command “East”, Air Defense Forces destroyed 3 russian Shahed-136/131 UAVs in Zaporizhzhia oblast.

Mykolaiv oblast

Mykolaiv RMA reported that on February 12, the russian military shelled communities in Mykolaiv oblast 4 times with artillery. There were no casualties or injuries reported.

The Southern Defense Forces stated that the enemy maintains fire control over the Dnipro-Bug Estuary, launching artillery shells to prevent the resumption of Ukrainian navigation in Mykolaiv direction.

In Mykolaiv, volunteers are manufacturing periscopes, remote detonation systems, and other devices for the Ukrainian military. These are essential for effective combat operations. The production process has been established in a small workshop, with devices and their components being produced using 3D printers.

Odesa oblast

Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine reported that the russian military directed a guided missile X-59 toward Odesa from tactical aviation maneuvering over the Black Sea waters. The missile was intercepted by the Ukrainian Air Defense Forces on approach to the city. Debris from the downed missile damaged the windows of several high-rise buildings and an unfinished building in the coastal area. There were no injuries reported.

Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi City Council announced that within the exhibition project “Memory of History” at the Museum of Local Lore, the exhibition “The Long War” dedicated to the tragic events of 2014-2024 was opened. The main goal of the exhibition is to preserve the memory of the russian-Ukrainian war and honour every Ukrainian who has experienced the horrors of war. The exhibits for this exhibition have been collected for many years, and the exposition currently includes about 150 items. The exhibition is presented as a complex: posters, paintings, installations, numismatic items, philately, and a documentary video film.

Kherson oblast

Kherson RMA reported that the russian military attacked residential areas in Kherson. A healthcare facility, a trolleybus, and a bus stop were damaged. A woman was injured.

A russian drone dropped an explosive device on Havrylivka in Kherson oblast, hitting a courtyard near one of the buildings and injuring 2 people.

Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the Kherson RMA, reported that russian forces launched a nighttime attack on Lvove in Kherson oblast. A local woman was killed in her own yard.

Throughout the day, russian forces shelled Kherson oblast 33 times with various types of weapons, firing a total of 215 shells, with 25 targeting Kherson city directly. Residential areas of the region were targeted, and 2 people were injured.

Southern Defense Forces informed that Air Defense Units in Kherson oblast shot down 3 Shahed-131/136 UAVs during the night.

Roman Mrochko, Head of Kherson City Military Administration, announced that rescue workers in Kherson oblast received new equipment from philanthropistіs in the Netherlands, including helmets, uniforms, gloves, and footwear. Previously, Europeans donated 3 fire trucks, 2 of which were sent to Musykivka and Chornobaivka.

Volyn oblast

Serhii Dubrov, First Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine, visited Volyn on a monitoring visit. The Ministry inspects medical facilities where servicemen are treated in order to make sure that patients are provided with comprehensive care.

Zakarpattia oblast

Anatolii Banatskyi, fighter of the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade from Zakarpattia, was awarded with the title of Hero of Ukraine. The fighter took part in the assault operations in Zaporizhzhia oblast. Since 2014, already 20 fighters of the 128th separate mountain assault brigade of Zakarpattia have been awarded the title of Heroes of Ukraine, 15 of them since the beginning of the full-scale war.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

Ivano-Frankivsk City Council reported that volunteers of the Logistics Center brought the necessary equipment to soldiers. For the 18th brigade of the National Guard – 20 fpv drones, for the 15th regiment of the National Guard of Ukraine – a car, for the 10th mountain assault brigade of the 109th battalion – 50 fpv drones, for the 81st amphibious assault brigade – 50 fpv drones and a Mavik 3 t , and for the 42nd brigade, 20 fpv drones and a Mavik 3 t.

Ivano-Frankivsk City Council reported that they sent 50 FPV drones to the 50th bridge of Semyon Vysochan Regiment of the National Guard of Ukraine.

Lviv oblast

Since the beginning of martial law, more than 9,2K places for IDPs have been arranged in Lviv oblast. As the department of economic policy of the RMA said, over UAH 800 mln have already been allocated for this purpose.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Lviv oblast has become one of oblasts that sheltered the largest number of IDPs and relocated enterprises. In 2022-2023, the implementation of 172 projects was started within the framework of arranging places for internally displaced persons, of which 70 have been completed, 89 are in the process of implementation, and 13 are at the design stage.

Memorial plaques to the three fallen defenders were opened in Khodorivska community. Memorial signs in honor of Mykhailo Berezka, Bohdan Yatsyshin and Roman Lehkoy appeared on the facade of the gymnasium in the village of Vybranivka. All of them served in the 24th separate mechanized brigade named after King Danylo. Bohdan Yatsyshyn was killed in battle near the village of Klishchiivka, Bakhmut region, Donetsk oblast. Roman Lehkoy also took the last battle near Klishchiivka. Mykhailo Berezka was killed near the village of Katerynivka, Luhansk oblast, saving the life of his brother.

Rivne oblast

The RMA reported that Rokytniv community, Sarna region, sent firewood and foodstuffs to the defenders in Zaporozhzhia oblast.

The Center for Vitality started working in Volodymyrka. This is already the 3rd location in Rivne oblast, where they provide free assistance to their residents, namely information, consultations and social and psychological support. This project is implemented by the Ministry of Social Policy and is a component of the All-Ukrainian mental health program How are You?, initiated by First Lady Olena Zelenska.

Ternopil oblast

The RMA reported that they sent 30 FPV drones to defenders to perform combat missions thanks to the taxpayers’ funds. This

Ternopil City Council reported that they sent another 30 FPV drones in a set (unmanned aviation complex) for artillerymen on the front line. By the way, last week a refrigerator, 40 sets of protective clothing, five screens, two charging stations and 120 FPV drones were sent to the military.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

The RMA reported that Shepetivsk community sent a Ford Ranger off-road vehicle to the anti-aircraft machine gun unit.

Chernivtsi oblast

The RMA held a meeting with representatives of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Ukraine. Cooperation for 2024 was discussed.

Last year, UNHCR provided support to 52 places of compact accommodation for IDPs (in particular, partners helped with repairs of premises and the purchase of household appliances and furniture). Also in Vyzhnytsia, Novoselytsk, and Berehomet, child-friendly spaces have become operational. Preschool educational institutions in the oblast were provided with laptops, and employment centres with informational materials.

The Council of the EU adopted a decision on the regulation of the future mechanism for the use of profits from frozen russian assets on the territory of the EU in favor of Ukraine. “This decision paves the way for the Council to adopt a decision on the possible creation of a financial contribution to the EU budget from these net profits to support Ukraine and its recovery and reconstruction at a later stage,” emphasizes the EU Council.

Rheinmetall is building a new factory for the production of ammunition. In addition to NATO countries, part of its products will also go to Ukraine. The plant is expected to start operating in the city of Unterlues next year and produce about 200K artillery shells a year. Rheinmetall plans to invest €300 mln and create about 500 new jobs.
