What happened in Ukraine today:

The enemy continues to wage a war of aggression. Despite significant losses, he does not give up his plans for the full occupation of Ukraine, ignores the laws and customs of war, uses terror tactics, strikes, attacks both military and civilian objects. The enemy actively uses aviation and quadrocopters of the “FPV” type, conducts assaults with the support of armored vehicles.

The operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains difficult.

During the day, 63 combat clashes took place.

In total, the enemy launched 5 missile strikes, 71 air strikes, and fired 45 rocket salvo fire strikes at the positions of our troops and populated areas. As a result of the Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are wounded among the civilian population. High-rise and private buildings, as well as other civilian infrastructure, were destroyed and damaged.

On the Volyn and Poliske directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly. There were no signs of the formation of offensive groups. Certain units of the Armed Forces of Belarus perform tasks in the areas bordering Ukraine.

In the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts sabotage and intelligence activities, attacks populated areas from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border of Ukraine. About 20 settlements, including Volodymyrivka, Ponomarenky, Volfine, Stepok of the Sumy region, were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling by the Russian occupiers; Udy, Kozacha Lopan, Lukyantsi, Vovchansk, Kharkiv region.

In the Kupyan direction, our defenders repelled an enemy attack in the area of Tabaivka settlement of Kharkiv region, where the enemy unsuccessfully tried to break through the defenses of our troops. About 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Sinkivka, Petropavlivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Kotlyarivka of the Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman direction, our soldiers repelled an enemy attack in the area of Terna, Donetsk region, where the enemy unsuccessfully tried to break through the defenses of our troops. The enemy carried out an airstrike in the area of the village of Vyimka, Donetsk region. More than 10 settlements were affected by enemy artillery and mortar shelling, among them Nevske, Serebryansk Forestry of Luhansk Oblast and Torske, Serebryanka, Rozdolivka of Donetsk Oblast.

In the Bakhmut direction, the defense forces repelled 6 enemy attacks in the areas of Bohdanivka, Andriivka and Klishchiivka settlements of the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, unsuccessfully tried to improve the tactical position. The enemy also carried out an airstrike in the area of the settlement of New York, Donetsk region. About 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Kalynivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, New York of the Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 14 enemy attacks in the Avdiivka area and another 4 attacks in the Tonenko, Nevelsky districts of the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, unsuccessfully tried to break through the defenses of our troops. Also, the Russian invaders carried out an airstrike in the area of the settlement of Novokalynove, Donetsk region. About 20 settlements, including Novokalynove, Novobakhmutivka, Berdychi, Lastochkine, Avdiivka of the Donetsk region, were hit by enemy artillery and mortar fire.

In the Mariinsky direction, the defense forces continue to restrain the enemy in the areas of Georgiyivka, Pobyeda and Novomykhailivka of the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried 25 times to improve the tactical position. The enemy also carried out airstrikes in the areas of Kostyantynivka and Paraskoviivka settlements of the Donetsk region. Such settlements of the Donetsk region as Kurakhove, Pobyeda, Novomykhailivka, Katerynivka, Paraskoviivka came under artillery and mortar fire of the occupiers.

In the direction of Novopavlivsk, our defenders repelled an enemy attack in the area south of Prechistivka, Donetsk region. About 10 settlements, including Vugledar, Prechistivka, Zolota Niva, Blagodatne of the Donetsk region, were hit by artillery and mortar attacks.

In the Zaporizhia direction, the defense forces repelled an enemy attack in the area west of Novopokrovka, Zaporizhia region. About 20 settlements, including Poltavka, Malynyvka, Chervone, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanilivka, and Mali Shcherbaki of the Zaporizhzhya region, were hit by artillery and mortar attacks.

In the area of responsibility of the “Odesa” anti-aircraft missile defense system, in the Kherson direction, the enemy does not give up its intention to knock out our units from the bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnieper. Thus, during the day, 2 unsuccessful attempts to storm the positions of our troops were made. The settlements of Kherson, Antonivka, Ponyativka of the Kherson region came under artillery fire. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of Krupytsia, Krynka, and Berislav settlements of the Kherson region. The enemy also shelled the areas of Lviv, Tyaginka, Ivanivka, and Krynka settlements of the Kherson region with rocket salvo systems.

During the day, the aviation of the defense forces struck 13 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment of the enemy. The forces and means of air defense of Ukraine destroyed 6 reconnaissance UAVs.

IMF representatives arrived in Kyiv. The IMF team met in Kyiv with representatives of the Ukrainian authorities and other partners. The discussions will focus on the goals of the economic policy of the Ukrainian authorities and the challenges facing the Ukrainian economy. On February 17, the IMF mission led by the head of the fund’s mission in Ukraine, Gavin Gray, will begin discussions with representatives of the Ukrainian authorities in Warsaw “in the context of the third review of the program of extended financing supported IMF”. This was announced by the permanent representative of the IMF Vahram Stepanyan.

the Russians assembled a train 30 km long in the temporarily occupied Donetsk region. A continuous structure of about 2,100 freight cars stretches along a branch from the railway station in Olenivka to Volnovakha. Its construction began in July 2023 to prevent the movement of Ukrainian soldiers. Analysts emphasize that such a train is a very specific engineering structure, and its effectiveness is difficult to assess. At the same time, this train can be considered a separate line of defense. This 30 kilometer mass of metal is very difficult to move, damage or detonate. In addition, in order to move the equipment, such a corridor must be broken.

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in the morning that  91 russian attacks were repelled by Ukrainian troops on the frontline in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts yesterday:

Kharkiv oblast

Kharkiv Regional Police reported that up to 20 settlements were under artillery and mortar attack, including Veterynarne, Kozacha Lopan, Strilecha, Hatyshche, Synkivka, Petropavlivka and Berestove.

After midnight, the enemy shelled Lyptsi village, Kharkiv region. A residential building was destroyed and a gas pipeline damaged. There were no casualties.

After midnight, the enemy shelled Slobozhanske village, Kharkiv region, with S-300. There were no casualties.

At 11:32 pm, there was a shelling of Liubotyn, Kharkiv region. There were hits to private houses, a town polyclinic, a fitness club and a training and production plant. There were no casualties.

At 10:35 pm, a private house was shelled, a garage and a car damaged in Vovchansk, Chuhuiv region. There was no information about the casualties.

At 5:04 pm, the invaders attacked downtown Borova, Izium region, with a KAB bpmb. The building of the house of culture was destroyed. The facades of non-residential buildings were damaged. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.

At 10:30 am, the invaders shelled Vovchansk, Chuhuiv region. They hit the private sector. There were no casualties.

Towards Kupiansk, Ukrainian troops repelled 2 attacks near Ivanivka and Tabaivka.

5.72 hectares of territory were cleared of mines and 219 explosive ordnance.

Kharkiv rescuers spent two and a half days extinguishing a fire at an oil depot that broke out on 9 February as a result of a russian Shahed strike. More than 200 rescuers, specifically 36 units, were involved in extinguishing the fire, which covered almost 4,000 square metres. In almost 60 hours, they rescued and evacuated more than 60 people, cleared the rubble and have now successfully finished eliminating all the aftermath.

Kharkiv said goodbye to Putiatin family.  Olha, her husband Hryhorii and three sons, the youngest of whom was 10 months old, died in a fire that spread to the private sector of Nemyshlianskyi district after a russian Shahed hit on 9 February. The funeral was attended by relatives of the victims, friends and colleagues of the deceased Olha Putiatina from the prosecutor’s office.

Donetsk oblast

The press service of Donetsk police reported that yesterday the occupation forces attacked the residential sector 7 times. In addition, at night, the enemy launched a massive attack on Selydove and Mykhailivka. On 11 February, 6 settlements were under attack: Avdiivka, Hirnyk cities, Hostre, Zhelanne settlements, Novoselivka Persha and Orlivka villages. Also russian invaders used missiles, Uragan MRLs and artillery against civilians. 14 civilian objects were damaged, such as 12 residential buildings, a kindergarten and a power line.

According to Donetsk Regional Military Administration, towards Pokrovsk, 3 people were wounded and 15 private houses damaged in Selydove. An apartment building and 2 private houses were damaged in Hostre of Kurakhove community. Novohrodivka was hit by a missile attack, damaging 3 houses and an administrative building. Avdiivka suffered isolated attacks. Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka and Kostiantynivka of Marinka community were shelled.

Towards Kramatorsk, a gas pipeline was damaged in Rai-Oleksandrivka of Mykolaivka community. The outskirts of Lyman and Kostiantynivka communities were shelled.

Towards Bakhmut, three private houses were damaged in Chasiv Yar community. Rozdolivka, Fedorivka and Vasiukivka of Soledar community were under attack. Pereizne and Verkhnokamianske of Zvanivka community were shelled. In Siversk, 3 houses were damaged.

 Obdusman Dmytro Lubinets reported that an 80-year-old woman was evacuated from the occupied village in Donetsk oblast. The elderly woman’s daughter asked him to help her take her mother out of the occupation. Lubinets added that the woman was taken through the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk oblast and the territories of russia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland.

Viola, a first-grader, and her brothers Maksym and Danylo were evacuated from Zhelanne of Ocheretyne community. The village is located near the frontline so explosions are heard here almost every day. The family was evacuated from the shelling in an armoured vehicle by White Angel unit together with representatives of civil-military cooperation and Ocheretyne military administration. The evacuation went fast because the sunny weather created a high risk of airstrikes.

 

Evacuation. Destruction as a result of russian shelling

Donetsk police are conducting a landmine safety campaign. A 10-year-old girl was injured as a result of an explosion of a UFMHG (unified fuse of a modernised hand grenade) in Kostiantynivka. The explosive object was brought home by her brother. Over the past year, 16 residents of Donetsk oblast were injured as a result of explosions on enemy mines and careless treatment of ammunition, 5 of whom died on the spot. The police have taken measures to reduce the risk of injury to children and adults.

Over the weekend, specialists managed to restore electricity supply to 3 settlements with more than 27,000 families.

A filtration plant has been set up to provide water to the residents of frontline Siversk. For almost a year and a half, the community’s settlements have been without gas, water and electricity as the invaders destroyed all possible infrastructure. In addition, there are 10 kilometres to the frontline, which makes it difficult to perform repairs. Philanthropists helped to purchase equipment for the filtering station and a special water delivery vehicle was purchased with a subvention from the regional budget to the local budget in December last year.

The State Agency for Strategic Reserves of Poland (RARS), with financial support from the Norwegian Government (Norwegian Directorate for Civil Protection – DSB), has provided Voda Donbasu enterprise with a Mitsubishi L200 pick-up truck and a specialised Mercedes Sprinter 313 CDI manipulator vehicle. These vehicles will help the utility to reach remote settlements, perform repairs and eliminate the aftermath of enemy shelling.

The director of 20 Days in Mariupol, Mstyslav Chernov, has received a Directors Guild of America Awards.  Chernov was awarded for “outstanding directorial achievement in documentary film”.

Luhansk oblast

According to Luhansk Regional Military Administration, three russian assaults were repelled from Bilohorivka on Sunday. The enemy is constantly destroying this settlement and the territory of Serebrianka forest with artillery and mortar fire. The situation is also restless in the villages of Krasnorichensk community. Despite the proximity to the contact line, there are still civilians there. Most of them are elderly people. 24 residents receive pensions. Employees of the military administration regularly organise the transportation of recipients of social benefits to safer areas, where Ukrposhta provides services.

One of the five-storey buildings in Sievierodonetsk began a demonstration repair in the autumn of 2022, on the eve of the pseudo-referendum. They only managed to cut out the heating system before winter. Work resumed exactly one year later, at the end of 2023, when new radiators were installed. The system was constructed from the materials left over from the reconstruction of other houses.

As soon as a cancer patient was hospitalised in Kreminna, russian military moved into her home and stayed there for almost the entire duration of her treatment. When she returned, she saw an almost empty apartment. The invaders had managed to take away everything more or less valuable.

Roman Vlasenko, Head of Sievierodonetsk Regional Military Administration, reported that due to the bad weather, part of the occupied Luhansk oblast is without electricity again as the invaders do not have the strength and means for repairs. The villages around Sievierodonetsk continue to be flooded. No measures have been taken by the occupation authorities. Due to the lack of heating and other utilities, people from Sievierodonetsk region, who had the opportunity, left for the winter to settlements located farther away from the frontline.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

The IMF team arrived in Kyiv to meet with representatives of the Ukrainian authorities and other partners. Vahram Stepanyan, permanent representative of the IMF, said that the discussions will focus on the goals of the economic policy of the Ukrainian authorities and the challenges facing the economy of Ukraine.

Kyiv RMA reported that reconstruction of housing that was damaged by russian invaders is underway in the oblast. One of the damaged high-rise buildings is being restored with the assistance of the International Organization for Migration in Irpin on Severynivska Street. Capital repair includes restoration and strengthening of external walls, replacement of part of the roof, arrangement of the roof, replacement of damaged windows and doors, insulation of the house.

The Ministry of Health reported that specialized medical institutions in Kyiv and nine regional centers are currently in need of donor blood. Needs are dynamic and change daily depending on circumstances.

The children’s art school in Borodyanka was named after photojournalist Max Levin, one of the most famous documentaries of the Ukrainian war since 2014. The relevant decision was adopted by the Borodyanka settlement council. The report says that thanks to Max Levin’s videos and photos, the whole world learned about the terrible destruction and atrocities committed by the russian occupiers in Borodyanka.

The Help Animals Of Ukraine charity organization reported that near Makarov, a moose blew up on a mine, which was probably left by the russian troops at the beginning of the full-scale invasion. Volunteers went to help the injured animal, but they did not have time to save the animal – the moose’s front limb was critically damaged.

On February 7-8, the Kyiv International Cyber Resilience Forum took place in the capital, where a wide circle of politicians, experts, opinion leaders and international partners discussed the strategy and tactics of countering modern cyber threats. Representatives of the US State Department, NATO countries and the EU participated in the forum.

The Head of Kyiv RMA Ruslan Kravchenko reported that educational institutions of the oblast will receive almost 6 thousand tablets for teaching children, which were provided by French partners from the Ile-de-France Region. The equipment will be given to inclusive resource centers and educational institutions, and another part will be given to educational institutions of the oblast for conducting classes in school shelters, as well as families with children who are in difficult life circumstances.

 

Zhytomyr oblast

The Northern Border Detachment reported that border guards of the 9th detachment named after the Sich Riflemen conducted classes on tactical medicine for young people in Zhytomyr. Those present were taught the basics of pre-medical care, self-help and worked out in practice the algorithm of actions according to the “MARCH” protocol.

The farewell to 53-year-old local Andrii Savitsky was in Zhytomyr. Andriy worked in the Kyiv Circus before the war, but went to fight in the first days of the full-scale invasion in February 2022. A military man died in early February 2024 while performing a combat mission in Donetsk oblast.

Sumy oblast

Sumy RMA reported that at night, the russian military carried out 2 shellings of the border territories and settlements of the oblast. 4 mortar hits were recorded on the territory of Krasnopillia and Nova Sloboda communities.

During the past day, the russians carried out 26 shelling of the border region. A total of 153 explosions were recorded – from mortars, artillery, grenade launchers, a tank, as well as firing by a FPV kamikaze drone and the dropping of VOG from a UAV. As reported in RMA, Khotyn, Myropillia, Krasnopillia, Bilopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Nova Sloboda and Shalygine communities came under shelling.

The police of Sumy oblast reported that as a result of russian shelling on February 11, four households, a tractor and agricultural equipment were damaged in Nova Sloboda territorial community of the Konotop region.

February 12 is a day of mourning for those killed in an airstrike on Kindrativka in the Khotyn community in Sumy oblast. On February 9, three civilians were killed there, four people were injured as a result of the KAB aerial bombs dropped by the russian military on the territory of the community.

The State Emergency Service reported that over the past week, pyrotechnics of the oblast destroyed 14 munitions found on the territory of Sumy, Okhtyrka, Konotop, Shostka and Romny regions. Since the beginning of the year, 86 explosive objects have been discovered in Sumy oblast.

Chernihiv oblast

The SBGS reported that during the past day, russian troops carried out 5 shellings on the border of Chernihiv oblast. Two communities of the oblast were under enemy shelling: Novhorod-Siverskyi – 25 hits from barrel artillery and mortar; Snovsk – 4 mortar hits.

Vyacheslav Chaus, the Head of Chernihiv RMA, said that over the past week, the enemy shelled 19 border settlements of Chernihiv oblast for 56 times. During this period, a total of 247 explosions were recorded, including 6 airstrikes. Our Defense Forces shot down one enemy UAV.

The head of RMA Vyacheslav Chaus said that only 39% of land in a 5-kilometer zone from the border can be cultivated. Accordingly, the enterprises bear losses and do not have the opportunity to settle with the shareholders. The Department of Agro-Industrial Development of the RMA has sent a corresponding letter to the relevant Ministry regarding the regulation of the compensation mechanism for the payment of the lease of shares in the border areas.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

In the evening the occupiers attacked Nikopol region. They shelled Marhanets community with artillery.

The military destroyed 6 Shaheds over Pavlohrad and shot down 1 missile over Novomoskovsk region. There were also drone strikes in Pavlohrad region. The attack caused fires. About 29,000 citizens remain without electricity. In Ternivka 10,000 people are without water. Hospitals in the area have switched to backup power sources.

21 attacks on Nikopol region. During the day the enemy launched 18 kamikaze drones and fired about two and a half dozen artillery shells. Nikopol, Marhanets, Pokrovsk and Myrove communities were hit. A 73-year-old woman was injured in Myrove. She was taken to the hospital and provided with all the necessary medical care.

Vinnytsia oblast

Operational Command South reported that an enemy drone was shot down in Vinnytsia region at night. There were no casualties or damage.

To support the coaches of Vinnytsia sports schools who voluntarily went to the frontline the committee’s staff sets aside 5% of their salaries every month. The money is used to buy necessary clothes, shoes, Starlinks and vehicles. Currently, 14 Vinnytsia trainers are serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The specialists plan to continue supporting their fellow defenders so that they can fulfill their duties.

Kirovohrad oblast

Andrii Raikovych, Head of the RMA reported that during the day the Air Defence Force shot down a missile over Kirovohrad region. There were no casualties or damage.

During the staff meeting the state implementation and local budgets for 2023 was analyzed. Andrii Raikovych, Head of the RMA remarked that the main emphasis in wartime is the economy stability, support for the Armed Forces, social protection of defenders and their families, rehabilitation of war veterans, assistance to IDPs and support for beneficiaries. In 2023, the region allocated 4 times more funds for defense than in 2022.

Poltava oblast

Philip Pronin, Head of the RMA reported that drivers of mobile fire teams were trained in extreme driving. Safe maneuvers at high speed, proper steering, different ways to stop and reverse are important skills in their work. The courses are designed for 4 days. They include both theoretical and practical classes. The training was initiated by the Poltava Regional Motor Vehicle Association and the Automobile Federation of Ukraine.

Cherkasy oblast

On February 12, Smila paid tribute to defender Anna Bohuslavska. Anna was 22 years old. She was a soldier, a medical instructor at the medical center of an assault battalion. On February 1, she died in hospital.

The relatives of 2 victims from Monastyrshchyna received posthumous awards. The President posthumously awarded For Courage orders of the III degree to Leonid Mykola and Oleh Liuliava. Leonid Mykola was seriously wounded in Zaporizhzhia on July 14. For 6 days doctors fought for his life and on July 20, the defender’s heart stopped. The life of defender Oleh Liuliava ended on March 8, 2023, while fighting in Donetsk oblast.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

Yesterday, occupiers launched 199 strikes on 22 populated areas in Zaporizhzhia oblast. russian military personnel dropped 6 air bombs on Novodarivka and Robotyne, conducted 4 MLRS attacks on Mala Tokmachka, and launched 72 UAV attacks on Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Novoandriivka, Novodarivka, Novodanylivka, Poltavka, Malynivka, Levadne, Charivne, Luhivske, Robotyne, Novopavlivka, Piatyhatky, and Lobkove. Additionally, 117 artillery bombardments targeted the territory of Zaliznychne, Huliaipole, Chervone, Shcherbaky, Mala Tokmachka, Stepove, Plavni, Kamianske, and other frontline towns and villages. Two reports of residential building destruction were received. Private and multi-story houses were destroyed, and garages and utility buildings were damaged in frontline settlements due to armed attacks. An elderly couple aged 76 and 81 were injured in Stepnohirsk as a result of shelling. They were taken to a medical facility.

Ukrainian Armed forces repelled an enemy attack west of Novopokrovka, Zaporizhzhia blast.It was reported by General Staff.

In the past week defense forces captured over 20 russian military personnel in the operational zone of the Joint Forces Operation “Tavria.” Half of them were captured on Zaporizhzhia front.

Zaporizhzhia RMA reported that a minimum of 17.5% of expenditures from local, regional, and oblast budgets will be allocated to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine, civilian population defense, and fortification construction. The administration’s goal is to fully meet the needs of the military, providing them with necessary equipment and technology.

Mykolaiv oblast

Yesterday russian forces attacked Ochakiv and Kutsurub communities five times with artillery. There were no reported casualties. Additionally, overnight on February 12, four russian combat drones of the “Shahed 131/136” type were shot down over the region. This information was provided by the press service of Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.

An anti-personnel mine detonated, resulting in the death of a cow in the village of Ievhenivka, located in Snihurivka region. This incident was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Mykolaiv oblast.

Odesa oblast

There are three russian missile carriers in the Black Sea. As of the evening of February 11, two frigates, “Admiral Essen” and “Admiral Makarov,” were in the sea, later joined by a small missile ship. The total salvo of “Kaliber” missiles in this configuration could reach 24 missiles. The level of missile threat is extremely high. This information was reported by the “South” Operational Command on February 12.

Regional Rehabilitation Center with a palliative care department at the Danube Regional Hospital is being estaliblised in Izmail, Odesa oblast. The facility will include rehabilitation, palliative, and palliative-psychiatric care departments. According to the press service of Izmail RMA, the launch of rehabilitation and palliative care in southern Odesa is necessary to improve the quality of life during the state of war, alleviate the physical and moral suffering of patients, preserve human dignity, and implement a scientifically based strategy for adaptation to society and rehabilitation of military personnel.

In the morning of February 11, thirteen dry cargo ships set sail through the Ukrainian maritime corridor from the Odesa Bay to the Bosporus Strait. Two giants with Ukrainian steel products on board, the 289-meter Panda and the 229-meter Christianna, departed from the Pivdennyi Port. Four bulk carriers, Yasmina, MKK II, South Spirit, and the 229-meter Buffalo, left the port of Chornomorsk. The Odesa port dispatched seven dry cargo vessels – Brave Arsenal, Sea Star, Lolo Gate, Brothers RS, Umit G, AG Valor, and Golden AD.

Over 700 vessels have passed through the Ukrainian maritime corridor since September 2023, exporting more than 22 million tons of agricultural products and steel products to 32 countries in Europe, Asia, and Africa.

Kherson oblast

Yesterday, the enemy launched 32 attacks, firing 194 shells, using artillery, mortars, tanks, MLRS, UAVs, and aviation. The enemy attacked Kherson with 26 shells. 3 people were injured due to Russian aggression.

Kherson, Antonivka, Sadove, Stanislav, Poniativka, Beryslav, Monastyrske, Kachkarivka, Lvove, and Zolota Balka were affected by enemy attacks. 21 objects were damaged in Kherson region, including damage to 11 private houses, apartments in 3 multi-story buildings, roofs, windows and walls of educational and medical institutions, and 3 burnt cars and garages.

The enemy launched air strikes on Monastyrske. As a result of powerful explosions, private houses, cars were damaged, and two men aged 67 and 48 sustained gunshot and mine-explosive injuries. russian military attacked Stanislav with FPV drones, damaging a car and a building.

A school building, a multi-story building, garages were damaged, and aa 61-year-old woman were injured in “Korabel” neighorhood due to the enemy shelling. russian shells damaged two multi-story buildings and the administrative building of a medical institution in Kherson downtown.

On February 11, 2024, the administrative building of one of Khrson medical institutions was damaged due to a russian attack. The building is a protected architectural monument. According to the director of the medical institution, Oleh Mazuriak, the building was under russian fire for the eighth time.

Two locals blew up on a russian mine in the forest belt in Biliaivka. One victim suffered explosive trauma and traumatic amputation of toe fingers, assessed by doctors as of moderate severity. Another victim suffered explosive trauma and lost part of his leg.

Daily counter-battery combat continues in the operational zone of the Southern Defense Forces. The enemy persists in its intent to dislodge our units from the occupied positions on the left bank of the Dnipro. They attempted an unsuccessful assault, suffering losses in manpower and equipment, retreating to their original positions. Occupiers continue aerial reconnaissance, exert pressure with artillery shelling, constantly use a large number of combat drones, of various types, and resort to aviation.

Defense forces continue to inflict fire damage on enemy deployment areas, firing positions, and rear areas. Yesterday the enemy lost 70 occupiers, 1 tank, 1 self-propelled artillery unit “Gvozdika,” 3 cannons, 1 flamethrower “Polumya,” 1 boat, and 10 units of automotive equipment on the left bank. Reconnaissance of combat results is ongoing.

26 families from Korabelnyi district in Kherson city, where children who lost one or both parents are being raised, received large humanitarian aid packages from the Kharkiv charitable foundation “Unity and Strength.” Foundation representatives delivered valuable cargo to Kherson, and then juvenile prevention workers distributed packages to the families most in need.

Primary Medical Care Center in Kochubeivka received a batch of medicinal products, including analgesics, antihypertensive drugs, and thermocovers.

A water tower was installed in Novomykolaivka, region. It will contribute to the restoration of centralized water supply in the village and provide a large water reserve.

Kherson librarians initiated a campaign to support the Defense Forces. They invite citizens to bring propaganda, outdated, and unnecessary literature from their shelves. Funds from the paper will be directed towards purchasing a vehicle for the 56th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where the deputy of Kherson City Council, Viacheslav Bilkovskyi, serves.

Volyn oblast

Since the beginning of the year, Volyn has sheltered about 150 IDPs. Since the beginning of 2024, 152 IDPs have arrived in Volyn in search of shelter. In total, the region received 79 195 IDPs. 46,795 people have the status of IDPs. This amounts to 33 772 families, of which 13 054 are children. Among the IDPs: 2 140 people with disabilities, 6 785 pensioners, 89 families with many children, 12 families with single parents.

Zakarpattia oblast

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine to Anatolii Banatskyi, soldier of the 128th bridge. The head of state presented the Gold Star orders to servicemen who were awarded this title and to the families of fallen soldiers who were awarded the highest award posthumously. Since 2014, 20 soldiers of the 128th separate mountain-assault Zakarpattia brigade have been awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine, 15 of them since the beginning of the full-scale war.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

In Ivano-Frankivsk oblast, over 450 Invincibility Centers have been set up. The largest number of points were arranged by bodies of executive power and local self-government (371 in total). There are 35 stationary points, another 20 mobile Invincibility Centers and 2 based on high-terrain vehicles in the region on the basis of divisions of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service. Currently, 4 mobile Invincibility Centers are deployed in Ivano-Frankivsk, Kolomyia, Kalusha and Nadvirnya. If necessary, they are ready to install 16 more mobile Invincibility Centers. 26 points were deployed at the National Police Directorate; 14 points were deployed by the GU of the State Production and Consumer Service; 2 – Ukrzaliznytsia. All unbreakable points are equipped with generators, autonomous heating, drinking water supplies and Internet access.

Lviv oblast

The Republic of Poland sent the fifth fire engine for the rescuers of Drohobych region. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the Polish city of Sanok has provided thousands of tonnes of humanitarian aid to Ukrainians and sheltered thousands of Ukrainians, and this support does not stop.

Lviv Defense Cluster handed over 500 children’s evacuation kits to the Juvenile Police of Ukraine. Some of the evacuation kits produced by Lviv Defense Cluster are actively “working” on the front lines, helping to evacuate children from areas of active hostilities. In particular, in Donetsk oblast, every police crew of the White Angel is equipped with children’s protective kits.

A solemn opening of memorial plaques to the Heroes of the community took place in Radenychy of Mostyska community. One was opened in honor of Roman Burbil, graduate of a local school who was killed on August 29, 2023, defending the territorial integrity of Ukraine. The second is in honor of Bohdan Wozniak, who was killed during a combat mission on June 10, 2023.

Rivne oblast

An SUV was sent from the oblast to the anti-aircraft machine gun battalion thanks to Rivne RMA and volunteers.

Ternopil oblast

Veterans can receive up to UAH 150K for the development of their own business from Ternopil City Council. Military personnel who have already been dismissed from the ranks of the Armed Forces, as well as their wives or husbands, will be able to receive these funds on competitive terms. Financial support is provided on competitive terms for the purchase of equipment, raw materials, materials, rental of transport facilities, for training or consulting on the basics of business, etc.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

At night, during an air alert, the Air Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine neutralized 1 UAV of the “Shaheed” type within the area. According to available information, the civilian population and infrastructure objects were not affected.

Chernivtsi oblast

Andrii Mesiuk, National Guard soldier, was posthumously awarded the III degree Order for Courage. The award was presented to the mother of the fallen soldier. From the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he fought in the hottest areas. In March 2023, Andrii Mesyuk was killed near Kreminna, in Luhansk oblast.

The international human rights organization Human Rights Watch ublished new data on the destruction of the city of Mariupol by russia. Analysis of images of the city’s main cemeteries showed that from March 2022 to February 2023, over 10K people were buried there. In Moldova, not far from the border with Ukraine, the wreckage of the Shahed drone was found. Moldovan border guards are considering the option that these are debris from a russian drone shot down by Ukrainian air defense on the night of February 9-10. The area where the wreckage of the drone was found was cordoned off. Maia Sandu, President of Moldova, said that this incident is another reminder that Russian aggression is a threat to the entire continent.
