At about 7 am, the invaders hit a residential area of one of the districts of Mykolaiv with missiles. According to the SES, a man was killed and 19 people injured.

Operational information of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 6pm:

In Volyn and Polissia directions, no changes occurred. Engineering units of the Armed Forces of the republic of belarus carry out combat training activities.

Towards Siversk, the enemy shelled civilian infrastructure near Mezenivka and Hlukhiv, Sumy oblast. Russian aircraft launched airstrikes on two settlements of Sumy oblast.

In Slobozhansky direction, the enemy remotely mined the area and conducted aerial reconnaissance using UAVs.

Towards Kharkiv, the enemy is trying to prevent our units from approaching the state border of Ukraine.

To identify weaknesses in the defense of our troops in proximity of Dementiivka, Piatykhatky, Rubizhne, the enemy used sabotage and reconnaissance groups. Ukrainian soldiers detected them and inflicted losses on the enemy.

Near Kochubiivka, invaders tried to conduct a reconnaissance battle. Our defenders did not give them any chance of success. The enemy retreated, suffering losses.

Russian invaders shelled civilian infrastructure in the areas of Krynychne, Pischane, Tsyrkuny, Ruska Lozova and Verkhniy Saltiv.

Towards Sloviansk, the enemy focused their main efforts on the offensive in the direction of the city. The fighting continues. Near Krasnopillia, the enemy tried to conduct a reconnaissance battle, did not succeed and retreated.

The enemy carried out systematic artillery shelling in the areas Dibrivne, Kurulka, Hrushuvakha, Pashkove, Velyka Komyshuvakha.

Units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine forced the enemy to leave Dmytrivka, Izium district, Kharkiv oblast.

Towards Lyman, the enemy did not take any active operations, shelling the positions of our artillery units.

Towards Severodonetsk, the invaders continue their attacks using barrel artillery and multiple launch rocket systems. Moreover, they carried out airstrikes on the positions of our units near Borivske and Syrotyne. Fighting continues to gain full control over the city.

In the areas of Metiolkine, Syrotyne, our soldiers successfully repelled the assault. The enemy retreated to previously seized positions, suffering losses.

Towards Bakhmut, the enemy shelled civilian infrastructure in Bilohorivka, Mykolaivka, Pokrovske, Stepne, Zaitseve. 

Near Hirske, Ukrainian defenders stopped the enemy’s attempt to conduct a  reconnaissance battle. The enemy unsuccessfully led assault actions in the areas of Berestove and Kodema, suffered losses and withdrew.

After regrouping, supported with artillery, the invaders attempted assault actions near Nyrkove. Ukrainian units forced them to abandon this idea. Now the enemy is assessing losses.

Towards Avdiivka, Kurakhiv, Novopavlovske and Zaporizhzhia, the enemy did not take any active actions. The invaders carried out shelling of civilian infrastructure in the areas of Novoselivka, Krasnohorivka, Zelene Pole and Kamianske. There were airstrikes on New York, Avdiivka and Pobeda.

In the South Buh direction, the enemy conducted air reconnaissance with UAVs to identify changes in the position of our troops and adjust artillery fire.

To deter our units, the enemy shelled with barrel and rocket artillery and mortars in Kniazhivka, Lupareve, Posad-Pokrovske and Novohryhorivka, Topolyne.

The occupiers continue to violate the rights and freedoms of Ukrainian citizens in the temporarily seized territory, destroy and take the property of seized industrial enterprises to the russian territory, and hold administrative and police regime measures.

The supply of heavy weapons, economic support for Ukraine and increased sanctions pressure on russia were discussed at the talks between President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. It has been Johnson’s second visit to Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale war.

The President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen announced that the European Commission recommends granting Ukraine the EU candidate status. The final decision will be made at the summit on June 23-24.

Ukraine has introduced a visa regime with the russian federation. That is, russians will not be able to get into Ukraine without obtaining a visa. The decision comes into force on July 1, 2022.

Eastern regions

Kharkiv oblast

According to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine spokesman, Oleksandr Motuzianik, as of June 17, the invaders are regrouping and reinforcing their troops to resume an offensive northeast of Kharkiv. He specified that the enemy is regrouping and reinforcing its troops to resume the offensive toward Rubizhne and Ternove (25-30 km northeast of Kharkiv). The invader is also conducting aerial reconnaissance in Bayrak, Peremoha, Rubizhne, Shestakove Verkhniy Saltiv. 

According to the General Staff of Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of June 17, units of the Defence Forces of Ukraine forced the russian troops to withdraw from Dmytrivka settlement, Izium, Kharkiv region. The russian troops try to prevent the Defence Forces’ units from reaching the Ukrainian state border and the back of the russian troop grouping. Russian invaders also shelled civilian infrastructure in Dibrivne, Hrushuvata, Krynychne, Kurulka, Pashkove, Pishchane, Ruska Lozova, Tsyrkuny, Velyka Komyshuvakha, Verkhniy Saltiv. 

According to the regional police department, on June 17, a russian missile hit a municipal enterprise in Pervomaysk. The shell hit a two-story building and a security post in front of the entrance to the municipal enterprise. Windows, ceilings and walls of the building were damaged. At the time of shelling, there were workers there: a woman and 2 men were injured as a result of explosion and were hospitalized. 

Donetsk oblast

In Donbas, the russian troops continue to advance on Sloviansk. The invaders are concentrating their main efforts there. There are reconnaissance battles near Krasnopillia settlement. The fighting continues. Russian troops attempted to take full control of Bohorodychne settlement. Ukrainian soldiers successfully repelled the assault. In an attempt to create conditions for the onslaught of Sloviansk city, russian federation is using artillery in Dibrivne, Dolyna, Krasnopillia, Virnopillia settlements.

Ukrainian defenders also repelled an enemy assault on Zolote. The russian troops retreated.

According to the Mariupol mayor’s councillor, Petro Andriushchenko, in occupied Mariupol, 10-15 people were hospitalized with symptoms of cholera and dysentery. Due to the lack of reagents, it is impossible to establish an exact diagnosis.

In Pokrovske, 2 administrative buildings on the territory of one of the city enterprises were destroyed as a result of the explosive object hit. The building of a meteorological station and 14 nearby private buildings were damaged. Medical aid was rendered to 2 injured (minor injuries).

In Hryshyne village, a farm building was damaged by shelling, 30 cattle heads were killed. There was no information about the killed or injured people.

Over the past day, the Head Department of State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Donetsk oblast evacuated 12 people from Kramatorsk region from the zone of active hostilities. Personnel of the Head Department assisted at the railway station in Pokrovsk city during the evacuation of 568 people, including 6 people with disabilities.

On 17 June, the russians killed 4 Donetsk residents: 2 – in Panteleymonivka, 1 – in Bakhmut and 1 – in Krasnohorivka. 6 more civilians were injured.

Luhansk oblast

The invaders continue to fire barrel and rocket artillery at the units of Ukrainian troops. They launched an airstrike on Ustynivka settlement. Fighting for full control over Severodonetsk is ongoing. The russian federation is moving additional units of rocket artillery in this direction.

A “covert evacuation” continues in Luhansk oblast. Severe fighting continues in Severodonetsk. Lysychansk is being bombarded. Very heavy fighting is ongoing near Toshkivka, Zolote. Humanitarian aid is being delivered to the region. They are also carrying out “covert evacuations”, without announcing and disclosing the places and times of evacuation to avoid shelling by the russian troops.

The russian troops used artillery and multiple rocket launchers in Borivske, Loskutivka, Metolkine, Mykolaivka, Novoivanivka and Ustinivka. The occupants carried out airstrikes on Loskutivka, Lysychansk and Ustynivka.

In Lysychansk, the airstrikes caused damage to a school building, residential buildings, a recreation centre and the House of Culture, where civilians were hiding. Search and rescue operations were carried out on the spot by personnel of the fire and rescue unit of the regional State Emergency Service of Ukraine. Rashists hit the city building where the civilians were hiding. Having arrived at the scene, the rescuers found 4 dead residents while removing the rubble. They also shelled the prophylactic building by destroying it. There are probably people under the rubble. Search and rescue work continues, with personnel of the fire and rescue unit of the regional State Emergency Service of Ukraine working at the scene. But Lysychansk is fully under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, although the infrastructure is destroyed and there is no gas or water supply

The housing stock is badly damaged in 18 houses in Hirske, 7 – in Vrubivka. There is a lot of damage in Synetskyy village near Severodonetsk.

Over the past 24 hours, 32 tonnes of water and more than 200 kilograms of humanitarian packages were delivered.

According to the head of the Luhansk Regional Civil Military Administration, Serhiy Hayday, as of the morning of 17 June, 568 people, including 38 children, are sheltering at the Azot chemical plant in Severodonetsk. It is impossible to evacuate people due to constant shelling by russian invaders. It is only possible to leave the plant if there is a complete cease-fire.

Northern regions

Kyiv oblast

A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed with the Hungarian government and the Hungarian Ecumenical Relief Organization. The first step in cooperation to restore Kyiv oblast is to rebuild an educational complex in the village of Zahaltsy, Borodyanka community. According to Oleksiy Kuleba, head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, a total of 100 schools, 68 kindergartens, and 80 medical institutions were damaged in Kyiv oblast.

In addition, the Memorandum stipulates construction of a modern service hub, which will include a medical clinic, an administrative service center, and a post office in Syniak village in Bucha region.

The State Emergency Service of Kyiv oblast reported about their units’ involvement in  inspection and clearance of explosive objects in liberated settlements and territories of the oblast as of June 17, 2022.

The inspection team assessed and documented consequences of fires caused by the hostilities in Horenka village, Bucha region, informs the SES of Kyiv oblast.

Law enforcers of Kyiv oblast found an arsenal of weapons hidden by the enemy. While investigating de-occupied territories, officers of the Kyiv regional directorate of the Internal Security Department of the NPU found weapons left by the enemy near Vorzel in Kyiv oblast. The usable ammunition was handed over to the Ukrainian military.

As part of Kyiv restoration, reconstruction work began in an apartment building damaged by a russian missile in the Svyatoshinsky district on Chernobylska Street. 64 burned down completely and 62 were partially damaged out of 126 apartments. The city authorities plan to complete the repairs by the beginning of the heating season so that the residents could spend winter in their homes, said Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klytschko.

The Kyiv Regional State Administration reports that a primary care and family outpatient clinic was opened in the village of Putrivka, Hlevakha community. More than 2 300 people live there, many of them elderly and IDPs, who need primary medical care the most. The institution’s staff is also headed by a young IDP doctor.

International organizations are involved in rebuilding affected settlements and constructing temporary housing for residents. For example, the first modular house in the private sector was installed in Moschun. It is equipped with furniture and appliances necessary for comfortable living, all utilities are connected to it. The work was done jointly with the Hostomel village military administration and Rotary international organization.

Sumy oblast

The State Ecological Inspectorate in the Sumy oblast continues to calculate the damage caused to the natural environment of the Sumy oblast by russian troops. Air pollution, destruction of greenery, pollution and littering of soil are among major damages. During March 8-10, 2022, enemy troops fired missiles and bombs at civilian infrastructure and housing facilities in the Okhtyrka district. There were several hits in the village Bakyrivka. Environmental inspectors estimated the damage. Its total amount is more than UAH 15.5 million.

Chernihiv oblast

The enemy fired shells at Chernihiv region with propaganda leaflets intended for residents of the Chechen Republic, said First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Yenin. He demonstrated a 122-mm projectile from the MLRS, manufactured during the Soviet era, which fell in Chernihiv oblast.

The SES of Chernihiv oblast provided information on demining the territory as of the morning of June 17.

The priority works on restoration of the damaged infrastructure of the area are underway.

The largest enterprise of the pulp and paper industry of the region resumes its activities, but so far it is loaded by only 30%. It employs almost a hundred residents of the community, most of whom now serve in the Armed Forces.

Negotiations between the regional administration team and delegates of the ‘Partnership for a Strong Ukraine” International Foundation continue. The “Early Recovery” particular project is being discussed, which focuses on reconstruction and development of communities affected by russian aggression. The International Fund is currently reviewing a list of 23 sites affected by hostilities in the Chernihiv oblast, according to Vyacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration.

The head of Regional Military Administration Vyacheslav Chaus announced the installation of the first modular town for Chernihiv residents who became homeless. There are quite comfortable houses that will temporarily shelter 400 people. Now they have all required communications.

Residents of Bilopillya are repairing their houses damaged by the russian army. Almost a month ago, 11 houses on Nizova Street in Bilopillya were damaged by russians. A projectile hit the private sector of the city. Information on how the inhabitants of these neighborhoods live today was prepared by the Suspilne correspondents.

Zhytomyr oblast

In Zhytomyr oblast, officers of the Security Service of Ukraine exposed two more propagandists who publicly supported russia’s so-called “military special operation” and the actions of the rashist troops in Ukraine. A military pensioner from Ovruch was spreading pro-russian materials online, and a man from Zhytomyr was publicly approving the actions of the russian occupants. This was reported by the media group of the SSU Office in Zhytomyr oblast.

Zhytomyr oblast received a multi-ton shipment that will help protect the lives of our military and increase supplies. The Association of Ukrainians Abroad sent plates for body armor, tactical clothing, ammunition, body armor, helmets, tactical first-aid kits, and other equipment. All items received were distributed based on need and handed over to military units and volunteer units.

In the next few days, about six hundred internally displaced people will settle on the territory of Novohuyvinske community in Zhytomyr oblast. Currently, arrangements are being made for housing, clothing, hygiene products, and food for people from the east and south of the country. The community has several accommodations where internally displaced persons will live. They will be provided with hot meals and clothing.

A media office of the Zhytomyr City Council reported that a day free camp focusing on emotional recovery for displaced children aged 7 to 11 will start working in Zhytomyr. Camp services for children are paid for by the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine using the funds received as grant support by the Department of Culture of the Zhytomyr city council.

Central regions

Vinnytsia oblast

200 children from Vinnytsia will be treated in the twin-city Kielce. The first group of children will arrive on Monday.

The number of enterprises relocated to Vinnytsia have increased by 27. 24 of them have already resumed operations.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Ukrainians have transferred more than 37 million hryvnias on the account of “Podilska Hromada” Fund. These funds were used to purchase technical equipment, ammunition, and protective items for 35 military units, including Vinnytsia defenders.

Vinnytsia “Shahin” Development Center, operating as a volunteer hub since the beginning of russia’s full-scale invasion, has resumed operations.

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

The outskirts of Zelenodolsk were shelled by the enemy. Fortunately, there are no victims. The night before, the outskirts of the village Velyka Kostromka, Kryvyi Rih district were bombarded with artillery. There are also no victims and injured.

The consequences of shelling are cleared in the city Apostolovo, Dnipropetrovsk oblast. On the night of June 14-15, russian troops shelled the community with the Uragan MRL. It is 20 kilometers from the front line. 4 people were killed, 20 residential buildings destroyed.

Fire was in the center of Dnipro.The roof of the cafe was under fire, the area of ignition is 40 square meters. The firefighters put out the fire.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war in the region, foster families have adopted 19 children. These are displaced children and children living in the region and having difficult life circumstances.

Dnipro resident was caught during the sale of humanitarian aid from Poland. The man was detained while receiving UAH 1,350,000.

Poltava oblast

Poltava Regional State Administration, together with the Yuzhkabel plant and Kharkiv City Council deputy Yurii Medvediev, bought an armored minibus, given to the military of Poltava oblast defending Ukraine at the front in Kharkiv oblast.

Kirovohrad oblast

In the Kirovohrad oblast, the property and corporate rights of the Kirovohrad Mining Administration were seized for 30 million hryvnias since 52% of the company’s shares belong to russian businessmen. The company has been operating in Kropyvnytskyi district for 87 years, producing 300,000 tons of kaolin clay yearly. Kaolin clay is used in cosmetology, medicine, building ceramics, porcelain and rubber products.

In Kropyvnytskyi, 133 books by contemporary foreign authors in Ukrainian translation were given to internally displaced children. The books were provided by the Kharkiv publishing house as humanitarian aid.

Actors of the Marko Kropyvnytsky Theater took part in the annual Melpomene of Tavria festival, which annually takes place in Kherson. This year’s festival will take place remotely on 50 stages of different cities of Ukraine and the world. The play “The Eternal Law of Motherhood” by Volodymyr Vynnychenko was performed in support of the temporarily occupied Kherson.

Cherkasy oblast

The regional charity football tournament “Cup of Heroes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine” will take place in Kamianka this Saturday, June 18. Cherkasy Regional State Administration, together with the Cherkasy Regional Football Association, and with the support of the Serhiy Prytula Charitable Foundation, are organizing this tournament to promote sports and raise money for the needs of the Armed Forces.

Southern regions

Kherson oblast

The situation in the occupied settlements of the entire Beryslav district of Kherson oblast remains tense. In most villages of  Kalynivska, Novovorontsovska, Velykooleksandrivska, Vysokopilska and other communities there is constant fighting. There are smashed houses, destroyed social infrastructure, mined fields, roads and bridges. 

Ukrainian aircraft struck at three points of russian troops’ buildup, according to the “South” operational command. The russian military tried to attack Ukrainian positions with three Mi-8 helicopters near Mykolayivka. Dodging the shots of the Armed Forces, they withdrew. There are no losses.

Ukrainian missile and artillery units inflicted the following losses on the enemy: 36 personnel and 8 units of armored and automobile equipment.

The American Institute for War Studies  reported that russian military in Kherson oblast is dismantling concrete fortifications of irrigation canals to build their own positions and hide artillery from attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

For more than two weeks, there has been no mobile connection and partly no Internet in the area under occupation in Kherson oblast. Some communities can be partially connected. According to the information received, the humanitarian situation in the communities has slightly changed.

The Executive Committee of the Novokakhovka City Council announced that employment with all employees of the City Council and the Executive Committee who cooperate with occupation authorities of the russian federation was terminated in accordance with the relevant resolution. 

Mykolaiv oblast

Missile strikes across Mykolaiv continue. In the morning, two cruise missiles attacked two areas of the city. The target for the russian military was an infrastructure facility within the city. Residential apartment buildings, private cars, industrial and industrial facilities were damaged. According to preliminary information, one civilian was killed and six injured. Among the wounded is a child.

Also this morning, shelling of the Shirokivska and Bereznehuvatska communities continued. Information on casualties and injuries is being clarified.

Two civilians were wounded in the evening shelling of the village of Parutyne in the Kutsurub community. In the Shevchenkivska community, three outbuildings were burned after the shelling.

Last night, russian troops destroyed 12 civilian facilities in the region.

Odesa oblast

The Ukrainian military struck at the enemy tug “Vasily Bekh”, which delivered ammunition, weapons and personnel of the Black Sea Fleet to the Zmiinyi (Snake) Island. According to preliminary data, 70% of the crew was affected, the fate of the rest is unknown. Enemy ships are trying to conduct a search and rescue operation.

1 submarine, 2 missile ships and 3 VDK remain ready to launch missile strikes in the north-western part of the Black Sea.

Soldiers of the 35th Separate Marine Brigade from Odesa oblast are mastering skills of managing British Mastiff armored vehicles. The military is studying tactics and features of the new technology, as well as the possibility of its use in the war with russia.

Zaporizhzhia oblast

The operational situation has not changed significantly. The enemy did not conduct active hostilities. The main efforts were focused on regrouping of their own forces and means, maintenance of the occupied territories, fire destruction of positions of our troops, dispersal of their forces in order to avoid fire damage by our troops.

Some russian units have been relocated from other settlements in the region to Melitopol, in particular, some russians plan to move from Kamyanka-Dniprovska and Energodar.

A powerful explosion was recorded in the village of Vasylivka near the dam. Details are being clarified.

For the past day settlements Huliaipole, Shevchenko, Orikhiv, were shelled by russian forces.

Also there were 31 shellings of positions of units of ukrainian troops along the line of contact from the entire spectrum of weapons in the area of ​​settlements: Chasilkane, Chervone, Kamyanske,  Malynivka, Novopil,  Novosilke, Orikhiv, Poltavka, Shcherbaki, Zaliznychne, Zelene Pole.

The russians continue to export grain by truck from the occupied territories. The movement of a train with 10 grain trucks was noticed from the Autonomous Republic of Crimea in the direction of Melitopol.

Soldiers of the Defense Forces in the Zaporizhzhia direction eliminated 13 soldiers, wounded 12; destroyed1 Su-25 aircraft; 1 Mi-28 helicopter, 2 tanks, 1 MLRS “Hail”, 3 infantry fighting vehicles, 1 enemy ammunition depot, one enemy position and one enemy observation post.

Zaporozhzhia Regional Military Administration reported that the air defense of the Zaporozhzhia region brought down an enemy missile over the Vilnya region at about 10:00 a.m. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties or damage. 

Last night a fire caught up at the chemical plant “Coagulant” in the town of Polohy. The fire was extinguished, no one was injured.

The Security Service of Ukraine conducted a large-scale special operation, during which 19 enemy agents were detained in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, as well as in Dnipropetrovsk and Vinnytsia regions. The detainees corrected the rocket attacks on Ukrainian cities and reconnoitered the positions of the Armed Forces, collecting information on the places of detention of Russian prisoners.

Western regions

In Volyn and Polissia direction, the main efforts of the armed forces of the republic of belarus are focused on conducting reconnaissance, fortifying the positions and protecting the state border. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the threat of missile and air strikes remains.

The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexei Danilov said that President Zelenskyy has instructed to check the readiness of the border regions for a possible invasion of belarus.

Western border of Ukraine Almost 70K people crossed Ukraine’s western borders (36K left and 34K returned to Ukraine).

 Volyn

Lutskspetskomuntrans utility company plans to supply a Ukrainian-made Minidiger MD-4 excavator to the Armed Forces, which will facilitate such important tasks as digging trenches.

In Lutsk, children constructed a checkpoint where they plan to raise money for the Armed Forces. Now at the checkpoint children treat passers-by with lemonade and ask to pronounce “palyanitsa” or “synytsya” elegibly. Those who can not do this are not allowed to access Veterans Street.

Zakarpattia oblast

In Uzhрorod, law enforcement officers detained a 47-year-old local man suspected of making forged documents about unfitness for military service. After authorized searches, more than 31K dollars, 5400 euros and  746 500 hryvnias, draft records, fictitious medical certificates and other physical evidence confirming his involvement in the crime were seized.

Zakarpattia Regional Military Administration and the International Organization for Migration for the Repair and Reconstruction of Buildings completed repair of 10 facilities for displaced persons. Contractors continue to work in 4 buildings, work will begin next week in other premises.

The President of the Financial Administration of the Slovak Republic Jiri Zhezulka and the Acting Head of the State Customs Service of Ukraine Vyacheslav Demchenko held the meeting on bilateral cooperation, optimization of checkpoint functioning and the Uzhhorod international airport operations.

The Zakarpattia Regional Military Administration reported that social workers of the region received 64 laptops from the UN Migration Agency.

Lviv oblast

299 people arrived in Lviv by two evacuation trains. 16861 people crossed the border of Lviv oblast during the day.

In Lviv, during the “Hands for Mom” exhibition ​30K euros were raised, which will be donated to prosthetics for Ukrainian mothers who lost limbs due to atrocities of the russian army. Earlier the Ukrainian artists already came up with the similar initiative in Berlin and Vienna. Then 11 paintings were sold and UAH 250K were collected. It will be held in other European countries.

In Lviv oblast, a limited edition stamp “Drowned or Sunk” was solemnly redeemed. The Lviv Regional Military Administration noted that this stamp circulation is about a thousand copies. It will be presented as a gift to international partners, foundations and representatives of the diaspora helping Ukraine during the war.

During the meeting of the head of Lviv Regional Military Administration Maksym Kozytsky with the charity Alliance Occitanie Ukraine, the president of the organization Zhanin Lesko and the vice president Guillaume Lopez promised that Alliance Occitanie Ukraine would take some children moving to Lviv oblast from the war zone for rest and recreation in France. Ukrainian children will spend 10 days recovering and relaxing in the French Occitania.

The World Vision International and the NGO “Let’s Help Together” will donate UAH 1 million worth of equipment (refrigerators, washing machines, electric kettles, microwave ovens, blenders, electric heaters) to the dormitories of Ivan Franko Lviv National University.

 Ternopil oblast

On June 19, a plein air for artists will be held in Zaletsi. In 2-3 weeks a charity auction of these paintings will take place in Ternopil. The money raised during the auction will be donated to the needs of the Armed Forces.

In the center of Kremenets, police detained fraudsters who exchanged counterfeit 25K dollars for UAH 1 million from a man engaged in illegal currency transactions. Seized funds are planned to be given to the Armed Forces. The court will decided the fate of fraudsters and money changers.

International support

The General Staff of the Armed Forces reported that Great Britain, the United States and Germany have pledged to provide Ukraine with 70 km-range multiple rocket launchers. In addition, the United Kingdom will ship more than twenty 18-22 km-range American ACS M109 M109 self-propelled howitzers.

The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson unexpectedly visited Kyiv. During the meeting with the Ukrainian President they discussed the supply of heavy weapons and air defense systems for Ukraine.

The European Commission supported Ukraine’s EU bid. The final decision on granting Ukraine the status of a EU candidate should be made by the leaders of European countries at the summit on June 23-24.

The Eurovision organizers have decided that it is dangerous to host the contest next year in Ukraine. According to the European Language Union, negotiations are currently underway with the British BBC on the possibility of holding a competition in the UK. The representative of this country took second place in this year’s competition.

The Lithuanian Seimas has recognized taking away Ukrainians to russia as Ukrainian people deportation.

The head of the Ministry of Education and Science Serhiy Shkarlet announced that in Lithuanian schools introduced 5 lessons of the Ukrainian language per week for refugee students from Ukraine.

On June 16, Lutsk Central Aid Center received humanitarian aid from the Netherlands with almost eight tons of food.

According to the Norwegian Foreign Ministry, Norway introduced an oil embargo against russia.

The US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said that the United States would give as many HIMARS systems to Ukraine as the Armed Forces of Ukraine are able to use.

The French President Emmanuel Macron said that France will supply 6 additional 155 mm Caesar self-propelled artillery units to Ukraine, but the West will not supply Ukraine with assault aircraft and tanks.

The Road to Peace Foundation hosted a charity dinner and auction in the Czech capital, at which football lots donated by the Ukrainian national team were sold. The collected funds (more than UAH 2 million) are planned to be transferred to the needs of the Armed Forces.
