The operational situation in eastern and southern Ukraine remains challenging.
There were 25 combat clashes over the day. Also, the russian federation conducted another airstrike with Iranian Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs in Kyiv oblast. The forces and means of the Air Force in cooperation with the air defense of other components of the Defense Forces destroyed 26 out of 33 enemy Shahed drones. In total, the enemy launched 5 missile and 81 air strikes, fired 27 times from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of our troops and settlements.
Unfortunately, russian terrorist attacks have resulted in civilian casualties and injuries. More than 100 private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.
The situation towards Volyn and Polissia remained unchanged.
Towards Siversk and Sloboda, the enemy launched air strikes near Kostiantynivka in Sumy oblast and Vesele and Ohirtseve in Kharkiv oblast. More than 25 settlements, including Hremiach in Chernihiv oblast, came under artillery and mortar fire. Shalyhyno, Boiaro-Lezhachi, Iskryskivka region of Sumy oblast and Karaichne, Zemlianky of Kharkiv oblast were shelled.
Towards Kupiansk, the enemy launched airstrikes near Synkivka, Kyslivka, Kotliarivka in Kharkiv oblast and Novoselivske in Luhansk oblast. Sinkivka, Kucherivka, Kyslivka, Kotlyarivka, Tabaivka and Krokhmalne in Kharkiv oblast came under artillery and mortar fire.
Towards Lyman, Novoiehorivka, Bilohorivka in Luhansk oblast and Spirne in Donetsk oblast were hit by air strikes. Artillery and mortar shelling affected more than 20 settlements, including Bilohorivka in Luhansk oblast and Sieviesk, Verkhnekamianske, Spirne, Berestove, Rozdolivka in Donetsk oblast.
Towards Bakhmut, the Ukrainian Defense Forces are successfully holding back the enemy in the areas of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Klishchiyivka and Kurdiumivka in Donetsk region. At the same time, Khromove and Nyzhyk in Donetsk oblast were hit by air strikes. More than 25 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Vasiukivka, Minkivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Kurdiumivka in Donetsk oblast.
Towards Avdiivka, Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled enemy attacks in the areas of Keramika and Avdiivka, Donetsk oblast. The enemy conducted an air strike near Avdiivka. More than 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Keramik, Novokalynove, Stepove, Avdiivka, Karlivka, Nevelske in Donetsk oblast.
Towards Mariinka, our troops repelled 11 enemy attacks in the vicinity of Mariinka over the last day. About 15 settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Heorhiivka, Illinka, Novomykhailivka, Katerynivka, and Yelizavetivka in Donetsk oblast, were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.
Towards Shakhtarsk, the enemy conducted airstrikes near Staromaiorske in Donetsk oblast. About 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Shakhtarske, Novomaiorske, and Urozhaine in Donetsk oblast.
Towards Zaporizhzhia, our defenders repelled an enemy attack near Robotyno, Zaporizhzhia oblast. At the same time, Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia oblast were hit by air strikes. Artillery and mortar shelling affected more than 30 settlements, including Malynivka, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Orikhiv, Mala Tokmachka, and Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia oblast.
Towards Kherson, the enemy conducted air strikes in the areas of Burhunky in Kherson oblast, Pervomaisky and Zmiiny islands. Beryslav, Tomaryne, Antonivka, Kherson, and Veletynske in Kherson oblast came under artillery and mortar fire.
Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct offensive operations towards Melitopol and offensive (assault) operations towards Bakhmut, destroying the enemy and liberating the occupied territories step by step. As a result of the assault operations, the Defense Forces achieved partial success in the areas of Klishchiyivka, Donetsk oblast, and Robotyno, Zaporizhzhia oblast, pushing the enemy out of their positions and consolidating their positions.

Vadym Skibitsky, iDeputy Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, says that in August, russia launched missile strikes on the territory of Ukraine with weapons produced in the third quarter of this year. He also added that russia has shifted its economy to a military mode and is trying to enhance its efforts to produce high-tech weapons.

Oleh Syniehubov, Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, said that On September 19, russians made an unsuccessful attempt to advance towards Berestove in Kupiansk region. The invaders retreated with losses under Ukrainian forces’ attacks.
Yesterday russian invaders continued shelling civilians in the towns and villages of Kupiansk and Izium regions.
As a result of a guided bomb attack on Iziumske village, Izium region, the buildings of an agricultural enterprise were damaged.

In Velyka Shapkivka village, Kupiansk region, grass was burning in an open area as a result of shelling.
The press service of Kharkiv State Emergency Service reported that a combine harvester tripped over a mine while working in a field near Andriivka, Izium region, in the morning. The driver sustained minor injuries from glass fragments and refused hospitalisation.
A 61-year-old man stepped on a Butterfly explosive device while mowing grass in Ternova village, Kharkiv region, at around 12 am yesterday. He was hospitalised with an injury.
Yesterday pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service examined more than 4.3 hectares of territory and defused 78 explosive ordnance.
Andrii Besedin, Head of Kupiansk City Military Administration, said the city is more than half destroyed by shelling as russian troops entered it on the third day of the full-scale invasion and stayed for six months. Ukrainian defenders liberated Kupiansk on 10 September 2022, during a counter-offensive in Kharkiv oblast. Over the past year, communications, electricity, gas and water supplies have been restored, and the streets are cleared of mines.
The Prosecutor General’s Office said that eight cultural objects were damaged in Izium. Specifically, the local history museum, the Suchasnyk House of Culture, the Zaliznychnik Palace of Youth and Teenagers and the stone stelae women.
Ivan Shevtsov, Spokesman of the Steel Frontier Brigade, said that the enemy command post in Kupiansk region was hit by a drone on September 8.
Ihor Terekhov, Kharkiv Mayor, confirmed that the city heat and water supply systems are 80% ready for the heating season.
Terekhov added that 62 classes have been enrolled to study in a mixed format in the underground stations. According to him, 400 students get there on their own or with their parents, while 600 students are brought by school buses.
81-year-old Anna Balamut has been living in Verbivka, Kharkiv region, since 1963. She was born during the Second World War and survived the russian occupation. The village was occupied by the enemy from February to 6 September 2022. Anna met the liberators with korovai, a large round braided wheat bread. Since then, she has been baking pies for Kharkiv defenders several times a week for more than a year.
According to the Spanish newspaper El Mundo, russians targeted a car with foreign volunteers from Road2Relief near Bakhmut on Saturday morning, killing one person. Spanish volunteer Emma Higual and Canadian volunteer Anthony Ignat were killed by a direct hit. German volunteer Ruben Mavik and Swedish volunteer Johan Mathias Thyr sustained severe shrapnel wounds and burns.
Vitalii Barabash, Head of Avdiivka Military Administration, reported that Ukrainian troops conducted a successful operation south of Avdiivka, retaking part of Opytne.
According to Donetsk police, russian troops attacked civilians 13 times yesterday. The shelling killed three people and injured six others.
Also russian troops attacked 10 settlements, namely Avdiivka, Kostiantynivka cities, Zarichne, Kurdiumivka, Niu-York settlements, Halytsynivka, Ivanivske, Katerynivka, Klishchiivka, and Shakhtarske.
8 civilian objects were destroyed and damaged, specifically, 4 residential buildings, enterprises and cars.
The invaders hit the outskirts of Ivanivske with an anti-tank guided missile, hitting a civilian car. Two people were killed and two injured.
Another civilian car was hit by a rocket in Shakhtarske, killing a 67-year-old man and injuring two others.

The enemy launched a missile from a Strela-10 surface-to-air missile system at Kostiantynivka, damaging an enterprise.
Viktoriia Tochena, Head of the Regional Department of Culture and Tourism, said that russian forces partially damaged or completely destroyed almost 400 cultural institutions in Donetsk oblast. It is impossible to establish the exact number.
Vitalii Barabash, Head of Avdiivka CMA, said that in honour of the 245th anniversary of the city’s foundation, they cancelled their own stamp, which was designed specifically for this date.
Vitalii Barabash added that russian troops over Donetsk tried to shoot down a Ukrainian flag launched from Avdiivka yesterday and revealed their firing positions.
Kremenchuk volunteers delivered humanitarian aid to the military serving towards Bakhmut. Serhii Lykhopud, a volunteer of the We Need You foundation, said that the volunteers deliver humanitarian aid to the military once a month, this time they brought some treats and camouflage nets. They know the needs of the military at the front line in advance.
According to Luhansk Regional Military Administration, the invaders do not stop air pressure on the settlements and positions of Ukrainian troops. They are targeting villages and logistics. On September 9, Novoselivske and Bilohorivka were attacked from the sky. The enemy has an advantage in the air and tries to use it when our defenders repel the attack on the ground. Today is the last ‘single day of voting’ out of ten in the so-called “lpr”. What is happening now in the north of Ukraine
According to Kyiv RMA, at night, Kyiv was attacked by enemy drones launched by groups from different directions. Air Defense Forces destroyed over 20 unmanned aerial vehicles. The falling wreckage damaged an apartment in a high-rise building, a non-residential building, cars, trolleybus power lines, and the road surface. One victim is known to have been treated by medics on the spot.
As a result of a night attack by russians in Kyiv oblast, 4 people were injured, one of the victims was taken to hospital with a head trauma and limb injuries. According to Kyiv Regional Military Administration, an infrastructure facility, a school, a kindergarten, a village council, a hospital, a training and rehabilitation center, a bus station, two shops and a warehouse were damaged in the oblast. In one region of the oblast, the blast wave damaged more than 100 private houses and 30 apartments in 7 high-rise buildings.
In Kyiv, the Ukrainian Women’s Guard held another meeting for women to provide psychological support, counteract burnout, restore and motivate them in the face of war. The meeting was held in the cosy atmosphere of the Lesia Ukrainka Public Library. Tetiana Serebrennikova, ethnographer and embroidery expert was the speaker at the event.

According to the information provided by the official website of Kyiv, this year, more than UAH 1 billion was allocated from the Kyiv city budget to repair the equipment of heat sources damaged by russian shelling. These funds were also used to purchase mobile boiler houses that will provide heat to social institutions.
Kyiv Regional State Administration reported that this week, 10 communities in Kyiv oblast received another batch of school buses. Communities have received 28 of the 45 buses recently purchased at the expense of state and local budgets. The buses were sent to the newly established hub educational institutions and to replace those previously withdrawn for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Five schools damaged by russian shelling will be rebuilt in Malyn community with financial assistance from UNDP. At the first stage, two lyceums will be renovated in Malyn, and later three lyceums in the villages of the community. Currently, repair works are being carried out at the lyceum, which was damaged by russian shelling several times because it is located near an infrastructure facility.
Construction workers from Zhytomyr oblast have restored 74 facilities in the village of Tryfonivka in Kherson oblast, replacing roofs, windows and doors. According to the RMA, 165 damaged facilities are planned to be restored before the start of the heating season, including 162 residential buildings and 3 social infrastructure facilities.
Deputies of Zviahel City Council allocated over UAH 23 million for the needs of the military during a plenary session. The funds will be used to purchase equipment necessary for conducting combat missions.
The city council reported that on September 8-9, the Ukrainian Modern Pentathlon Championship and Zhytomyr city tour (laser run) took place in Zhytomyr. The purpose of the event was to honour the memory of the fallen defenders of Ukraine and promote a healthy lifestyle among the community. The competition was attended by 240 athletes from five oblasts of Ukraine
According to the RMA, at night and in the morning, the russians opened fire 5 times at the border areas of the oblast. There were 32 shells fired from mortars and artillery. Seredyno-Buda, Shalyhine, and Esman communities were under enemy fire.
Sumy RMA reported that Ukrainian air defense destroyed an enemy Shahed UAV in the oblast at night.
On September 9, the russians opened fire 26 times at the border areas. According to Sumy RMA,there were 205 shells launched from mortars, artillery, and MLRS. Khotin, Velyka Pysarivka, Krasnopillia, Seredyno-Buda, Esman, Bilopillia, and Yunakivka communities were shelled.
Trostianets City Council informed that a memorial sign to the soldiers of the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade Kholodnyi Yar who liberated Sumy oblast from the russian army in 2022, was installed on the city’s day. The opening of the monument on Vicheva Square was attended by members of the Kholodnyi Yar brigade themselves.
The dog, wounded on September 8 by a russian missile in the private sector of Sumy, is in a veterinary clinic with brain swelling, head trauma, contusion, and compression injury. Denys Yermolenko, a patrol police inspector in Sumy oblast, saved the dog from the fire. After the animal received first aid, it was transported to a veterinary clinic with special equipment by volunteers of the Sumy Society for the Protection of Animals. The veterinary services were paid for by the organization UAnimal. The couple’s house, where the dog lived, was destroyed. The 65-year-old woman died in hospital from her injuries.

The russians opened fire 9 times on the border areas of Chernihiv oblast from their territory. According to the SBGSU, there were 65 attacks from mortars and AGS. Novhorod-Siversk, Semenivka, Horodnia, and Snovsk communities were under enemy fire.
Counter-sabotage forces are operating on Chernihiv and Sumy sectors to confront russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups and are coordinated by the relevant centres deployed in the border areas. They consist of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine and the National Police. According to Oleksandr Nayev, Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, there is no increase in the number of russian troops on the border, currently their number is sufficient only for defensive actions.
To honour the memory of entrepreneurs who died in the Russian-Ukrainian war, stands with their photos and biographies were set up near the Catherine Church in Chernihiv. According to Iryna Berezynets, head of the Siaivo Sivershchyny NGO, 25 entrepreneurs from Chernihiv region have been killed since 2014.
Chernihiv drama theatre performs its first performance after the russian missile attack on city center on August 19. The play “IDPs or Meetings in the Kitchen during the War” is part of the program of the XXV International Theater Festival Tavria Melpomene, which started in Kherson. Actors play without an audience in the hall. The theatre building is still undergoing examinations, after which the approximate amount of damage will be known.
Viacheslav Chaus, Head of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration reported that during the full-scale invasion, local athletes won 114 medals at world championships and various international competitions, and 670 awards on the national stage. Three representatives of Chernihiv oblast are candidates for participation in the 2024 Summer Olympics.

According to Mykola Lukashuk, Head of the Regional Council, the enemy attacked Nikopol region with artillery. The shelling damaged the administrative building of the utility company in Nikopol.
In Dnipro, the premiere of the play Captivity dedicated to Ukrainian soldiers in captivity is held. The play is based on real events described in the autobiographical book “Fugue 119. In the Tone of Captivity”. Its author is a volunteer of the Donbas battalion, Ihor Mykhailyshyn, who was captured by invaders in August 2014 while escaping from Ilovaisk and endured 119 days of captivity.
Vinnytsia City Centre for Social Services provides free psychological assistance to military personnel and their families. 5 professional psychologists and 23 volunteers provide counselling.
Five-year-old Eva from Kropyvnytskyi spent UAH 500K to help the military. This money is the allowance the girl receives from the government. Her father, Maksym Pastukhov, perished in September 2022 while defending Ukraine. Since then, the girl has decided to help the Ukrainian military.
In Poltava, the regional library hosts a free educational space called ‘We Can Do It‘ for preschoolers from IDP families. Children from the east and south of Ukraine attend preparatory classes before starting school.

Oleksandr Shtupun, Spokesperson of the unified press center of the Tavria direction, Ukrainian Armed Forces have advanced another 1.5 square kilometers near Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia oblast.
According to Yurii Malashko, Head of Zaporizhzhia RMA, on September 9, the enemy shelled 24 cities and villages 96 times. 78 artillery shelling attacks targeted Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Zaliznychne, Robotyne, Malynivka, Preobrazhenka, Bilohiria, Kamianske, Stepnohirsk, Lobkove, and other frontline settlements. The russian military carried out 3 missile strikes on Shyroke and Trudove, conducted 3 MLRS attacks on Novoandriivka and Poltavka, launched 8 aviation bombs on Orikhiv, and also attacked Charivne, Poltavka, Stepove, and Piatykhatky with UAVs. There were 17 reports of residential building and infrastructure damage.
Families with children are being evacuated from the frontline settlements of Polohy and Vasylivka regions. 14 minors out of 54 remain in the frontline settlements.
Zaporizhia city and Zaporizhzhia oblast are preparing for the autumn-winter as scheduled before with a stock of generators created. Centres of Invincibility are being opened.
Ahead of the pseudo-elections in the occupied territories, the invaders tried to hasten the issuance of russian passports. Currently, residents are forced to vote there “under the barrel of a gun”.
On September 9, 3D virtual reality helmets were exhibited in Mykolaiv. Anna Chulkova, the communications manager of Zatyshno space, reports that they will be used for psychological recovery of women, including veterans of the war. VR helmets are designed to allow individuals to practise mindfulness, relaxation, and stress management skills. The main goal of the project is to teach users stress resilience and emotional regulation. The helmet and joysticks create a visual and acoustic sense of presence in various locations. The project was developed by the Ukrainian startup Aspichi, which focuses on innovative technologies in virtual reality.
Voznesensk community joined the Art of Victory initiative with their project Sokolivskyi Obereh (Falcon Guardian). On the wall of School No. 2 on Korolenka Street 5, there is an image of a falcon symbolizing strength, resilience, and the readiness to defend one’s home. This project was implemented thanks to the talented artist Tetiana Kalenyk, who brought together children from schools and created a beautiful mural.
The South Operational Command informs that the situation in Southern Ukraine remains tense but stable. There are no signs of the enemy forming offensive groupings. Counter-battery warfare continues. The enemy’s naval group consists of 10 ships, with 9 in the Black Sea and 1 in the Sea of Azov. Missile carriers have been relocated to their bases. The enemy continues to maintain the activity of tactical aviation over the waters of the Black Sea. During the night, another aviation strike using guided bombs was reported towards Zmiinyi (Snake) Island.
A charity run took place at the Chornomorets stadium in Odesa. The event was organized by Seaside Runners ODS, a running charity community that started its activities in the early months of the full-scale war to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine through running. They have organized 9 events, raised over UAH 200K, and connected with hundreds of like-minded individuals. The funds raised are used to purchase rations, thermal weapon sights, and other necessary items.
There were infrared (IR) tank battles between teams of radio-controlled tanks on a 1:16 scale during the competition at the Odesa Regional Sports and Technical Club of the Regional Society for the Support of Defense of Ukraine. Interestingly, in the past, some military experts repeatedly predicted the “departure of tanks from the battlefield,” claiming that it is outdated weaponry that won’t be useful in future wars, and everything will be decided by special forces, aviation, and UAVs. However, the russian-Ukrainian war has shown that writing off tanks prematurely is a mistake. Therefore, competitions like the one that took place in Odesa on September 9 will remain important and in demand for a long time to come.
Around 17:30, the occupiers targeted Suvorovskyi neighborhood in Kherson city. A 69-year-old resident sustained shrapnel injuries and a neck wound.
At approximately 7:00, the occupiers attacked an educational institution in Kherson. The roof and windows of the building were damaged. A residential building was also shelled. A 68-year-old woman was diagnosed with a situational-neurotic reaction. She received medical assistance.
On September 9, the russian army shelled the territory of Kherson oblast 54 times using mortars, artillery, Grad multiple rocket launchers, and UAVs. Residential areas were targeted, resulting in one casualty.
The South Operational Command informs that on September 10, Ukrainian military forces eliminated 18 russian soldiers in the left-bank part of Kherson oblast. They destroyed a field supply point, a self-propelled artillery unit Gvozdika, three howitzers, and four units of russian army armoured vehicles.
75 individuals, including 9 children, were evacuated from Kherson oblast yesterday.
Pyrotechnicians from Odesa oblast are assisting in demining operations in Kherson oblast. Overall, sappers have examined 87,701.9 hectares of land in the de-occupied Kherson oblast, of which 73,820.1 hectares are agricultural land. They have detected and neutralized over 96,800 explosive objects on these territories.
17 brigades comprising 72 workers and 20 units of equipment are restoring power in Kherson oblast. Yesterday emergency restoration was carried out on power lines supplying Vysokopillia, Velyka Oleksandrivka, Novovorontsovka, Beryslav, Kherson, and Stepanivka.
Centralized water supply has been restored in Osokorivka in Novovorontsovka community. Dutch benefactors assisted in acquiring the necessary equipment, and experts cleaned the mud-clogged well and launched the water supply system.
Chernivtsi oblast will spend UAH six million to restore housing in Kherson oblast. Building materials will be purchased to carry out repair work in Vysokopillia community. The funds have been transferred to the regional budget of Kherson oblast. This assistance was made possible within the framework of the Side by Side project initiated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyi.
Brigades from Ivano-Frankivsk oblast are working in Davydiv Brid and continuing to rebuild homes for local residents. Representatives of Ivano-Frankivsk RMA visited Biliaivka, Ukrainka, Petropavlivka, and Chervone in Novooleksandrivka community last week. These settlements are part of the second phase of the Side by Side project. Experts are currently inspecting buildings and social infrastructure to create estimates and develop a reconstruction plan.
In total, 440 houses have been restored in Kherson oblast within President Zelenskyi’s Side by Side initiative. Work is ongoing at 450 more sites in 26 populated areas. Nearly 100 brigades and 400 workers from different regions of Ukraine are working to restore the residents’ comfortable living conditions.
A medical emergency vehicle has been provided to Kherson by the charitable fund “Heart of Ukrainian Nation.” Last month, the organization also delivered a high-passability pickup, a water tanker, and a modern firefighting vehicle to the region.

The occupying authorities entered people’s homes, attempting to force them to vote. While one representative of this “group” engaged in conversation with local residents, two or three armed individuals confiscated electronic devices that were available. They justified this as a “contribution to the work of the Kherson regional election commission.”
The distribution of humanitarian aid to residents of Kherson oblast continues. On September 9, residents of the liberated territories received 314 food kits, 9,150 loaves of bread, 250 portions of prepared meals, and 34K liters of drinking water from international non-govermental organizations, philanthropists, and volunteers. Additionally, 40 repair kits and 24 sets of thermal clothing were provided to people.

In Lutsk, a charity bike ride in embroidered pants was held in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Participants covered the 11 km long route in less than an hour.
On the occasion of the 938th anniversary of the founding of Lutsk, residents and guests of the city made a map of Ukraine, holding yellow and blue sheets of paper. This year’s public rally in Lutsk is dedicated to the theme of state unity and solidarity with temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

IDP children living in Uzhhorod shelters received backpacks with school supplies thanks to the International Society of Ukrainian-Uzbek Friendship CF and with the assistance of Mykola Doroshenko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Another military-patriotic event was held in Uzhhorod, aimed at supporting Zakarpattia Regional Center for Training Residents for National Resistance. In order to overcome the difficult 8 km long obstacle course, representatives of almost all power structures of the region, local self-government bodies, the RMA, the Regional Center for Training the Population for National Resistance, veteran and volunteer communities, children and many others came to the start.

2 children of the fallen defender went to have a week vacation in the Carpathians as part of the social project Care for the Hero’s Family. In Yaremche, they will have comfortable accommodation and interesting leisure time.
Lviv oblast provides support for families of servicemen, veterans and families of fallen heroes. To this end, meetings in the “question-answer” format with families of servicemen are arranged in Sambor, Strii, Novoyavorivsk, Drohobych, Yavorov and Przemyslany. Over 1K people became participants.
3 servicemen from Drohobych received certificates for buying housing. From the state budget, over UAH 5 mln was directed to the defenders for the purchase of new homes.
Lviv Palace of Arts opened an exhibition of works by military photographer Yurii Leliavskyi, who was killed in the russian-Ukrainian war. At the exhibition Life of Languages, an Interrupted Photo Moment, 70 photos, which he managed to take while defending Ukraine, and photos with him were presented.
In Rivne, on the facade of Lyceum #12, a memorial plaque was unveiled to 2 fallen defenders who studied there. Kostiantyn Druz and Vitalii Semchuk, fighters of the AZOV regiment were killed in Mariupol in 2022. Men were close friends and faithful military brothers.
In Rokytniv community, memorial plaques were installed to 3 fallen soldiers from the same village. Volodymyr Tit was killed on December 25, 2015. Petro Kravets was killed on December 22, 2022, during mortar fire in Bakhmut. Vasyl Tit was killed on January 22, 2023 in the battle near Bakhmut.
A commemorative plaque to Ivan Stepaniuk was installed in the village of Richitsy, Hoshchanska community. The soldier was killed during the false truce announced by the occupation authorities for Christmas on January 6, 2023, near Kuzmy Severodonetsk region.
In Ternopil, the first memorial signs were installed at the Pantheon of Heroes. Photos of the Heroes will be made soon, a juniper tree will be planted and the territory will be landscaped.
The RMA reported that children of fallen defenders from Ternopil oblast went on vacation to the US. On September 13, they will meet with congressmen and senators in the US Congress.
The regional council reported that the Brotherhood of Steel charity run will be held in Khmelnytskyi in support of the military formation of the Special Operations Forces.
The RMA reported that on the occasion of commemorating the Day of Remembrance of Defenders of Ukraine, during the first week of schooling, educational institutions of Bukovyna held various events within the framework of the all-Ukrainian action Soniakhs of Memory.

The government of South Korea has decided to allocate $2,3 billion for the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine. The first part of the sum (300 mln) will be received in 2024 for humanitarian needs.
The German Embassy in Ukraine reported that the country will supply Ukraine with two types of ammunition for Gepard self-propelled artillery for hitting armoured targets and air defense targets.
Hanna Maliar, Deputy Minister of Defense, reported that Ukraine and Sweden agreed on the joint production of the CV-90 infantry fighting vehicle. The immediate goal involves 1K Swedish BMPs for the Ukrainian army.
It is reported that russians were banned from importing smartphones, personal cars and suitcases into the EU. The European Commission noted that the import of sanctioned goods from the russian federation will be considered as prohibited import.
The Ministry of Defense of Romania discovered new fragments of a drone similar to those used by the russian army. They were discovered near the village of Plauru. The territory is guarded by the military, and the discovered elements will be selected for analysis and technical examination. The President of Romania announced the violation of the country’s airspace.
