It has been the 628 th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression.

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm:   

On November 13, there were 50 combat clashes. The enemy launched a total of 2 missile and 32 air strikes, 23 MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements. Unfortunately, russian terrorist attacks have resulted in civilian casualties and injuries. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

The operational situation in east and south of Ukraine remains difficult.

Towards Volyn and Polissia, there were no significant changes. No signs of formation of an offensive group are observed. Certain units of the armed forces of belarus continue their missions in the areas bordering Ukraine.

Towards Siversk and Sloboda, the enemy maintains its military presence in the areas of russia bordering Ukraine. The enemy continues its sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shelling Ukrainian settlements from the territory of russia and increasing the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine. Around 15 settlements came under enemy artillery and mortar fire, including Tymonovychi, Leonivka (Chernihiv oblast), Seredyna-Buda, Buniakyne, Mohrytsya, Hrabovske, Popivka (Sumy oblast), Kozacha Lopan, Starytsya, and Vovchansk (Kharkiv oblast).

Towards Kupiansk, the enemy conducted assault operations in the vicinities of Synkivka, Petropavlivka, and Ivanivka (Kharkiv oblast). The Ukrainian defenders repelled 6 attacks in the area. The enemy launched airstrikes in the vicinities of Pershotravneve and Kopanky (Kharkiv oblast). The invaders fired artillery and mortars at the settlements of Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, and Berestove (Kharkiv oblast).

Towards Lyman, the russian army made failed assaults near Novoiehorivka (Luhansk oblast). The invaders launched air strikes in the area of Serebrianka forestry (Luhansk oblast), and Spirne, and Vyimka (Donetsk oblast). The occupiers fired artillery and mortars at around 10 settlements, including Nevske, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Torske, Serebrianka, Spirne, and Rozdolivka (Donetsk oblast).

Towards Bakhmut, the invaders conducted assault operations in the vicinities of Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka (Donetsk oblast), where Ukrainian defenders repelled 11 attacks. The occupiers launched an airstrike near Klishchiivka. The settlements of Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, and Kurdiumivka (Donetsk oblast) came under artillery and mortar fire.

Towards Avdiivka, the enemy conducted failed assault operations south of Novokalynove, Avdiivka, Sievierne and east of Pervomaiske (Donetsk oblast), where the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled  attacks. The occupiers launched airstrikes near Novobakhmutivka and Avdiivka. The enemy fired artillery and mortars at more than 10 settlements, including Sukha Balka, Keramik, Berdychi, Avdiivka, Opytne, and Pervomaiske (Donetsk oblast).

Towards Marinka, the enemy made unsuccessful assaults with air support in the vicinities of Marinka and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk oblast), where Ukrainian defenders repelled 15 attacks. The settlements of Oleksandropil, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka, (Donetsk oblast) were under artillery and mortar fire.

Towards Shakhtarske, the invaders conducted assaults south of Zolota Nyva (Donetsk oblast), to no success. Also, the adversary launched air strikes near Vuhledar and Urozhaine (Donetsk oblast). Around 10 settlements, including Vodyane, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Blahodatne, and Rivnopil (Donetsk oblast), came under artillery and mortar fire.

Towards Zaporizhzhia, the occupiers made unsuccessful assaults near Robotyne (Zaporizhzhia oblast), where Ukrainian defenders repelled 4 enemy attacks. More than 10settlements, including Poltavka, Huliaipole, Huliaipilske, Novodanylivka, Shcherbaky, Kamianske (Zaporizhzhia oblast), came under artillery and mortar fire.

Towards Kherson, the invaders launched air strikes near the settlements of Beryslav, and Ivanivka (Kherson oblast). The settlement of Beryslav, Antonivka, Zelenivka, Veletenske (Kherson oblast) and the city of Kherson suffered from enemy artillery shelling.

At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their offensive operation on towards Melitopol and offensive (assault) operations towards Bakhmut, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, exhausting the enemy all along the front line.

The Ukrainian Air Force launched 8 air strikes on buildups of troops, weapons and military equipment, and 1 strike on an air defense system of the occupiers.

Colonel Vladyslav Selezniov, Head of the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, announces that along the northern border of Ukraine, 500 thousand mines have been buried to prevent russians from moving freely. These are Ukraine’s border areas with russia in Kyiv, Volyn, Rivne, and Zhytomyr oblasts. 

Denys Marchuk, Deputy Chairman of the All-Ukrainian Agrarian Council, says that during the autumn sowing campaign of 2023, Ukrainian farmers sowed half as many winter crops as before the war. They managed to sow just over 3.8 mln hectares of wheat, while in the fall of 2021 this figure was 6.1 mln hectares. 

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy says that russia may increase the number of drone or missile strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure. In Ukraine, all attention should be focused on defense, on responding to the occupiers, and on everything that Ukraine can do to make it easier for people to get through this winter and increase the capabilities of Ukrainian soldiers. 

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Volodymyr Fito, Head of Public Relations of the Ground Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported that over the day, 15 enemy attacks were repelled towards Lyman-Kupiansk. The enemy launched seven air strikes there, using six Kamikaze drones. In total, there were 404 russian attacks. Also towards Kupiansk, the invaders are currently regrouping as they suffered losses in manpower and equipment.  Over the previous day alone, 130 invaders were eliminated there.

Kharkiv oblast

Oleh Syniehubov, Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, said russian invaders continued shelling frontline and border settlements of the region yesterday.

Specifically, Vovchansk and Nesterne of Chuhuiv region, Novomlynsk, Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, Synkivka, Kyslivka, Krokhmalne and Tabaivka of Kupiansk region were targeted.

The enemy launched a missile attack, using S300 multiple rocket launchers, at Shevchenkivskyi district in the evening, around 7:23 pm. The missile hit the ground near one of the entertainment complexes. A wooden gate was damaged. There is also minor damage to another entertainment complex. There were no casualties.

A private building was damaged as a result of a guided bomb strike on Cherneshchyna village, Izium region.

Towards Kupiansk, our defenders repelled 11 enemy attacks near Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka and Kyslivka over the day.

As of  November 12, 257 children have been evacuated from dangerous communities of Kupiansk region. Another 35 are to be evacuated. The evacuation is ongoing.

Eduard Pavlenko, Director of the Regional Department of Culture, said that nine Polovtsy Balbals from Kremianets in Izium were dismantled and sent for restoration. During the occupation of Izium, some of the sculptures were damaged and one destroyed: eight of the nine stone balbals were saved.

Donetsk oblast

According to Donetsk Regional Military Administration, towards Donetsk, Krasnohorivka, Novomykhailivka and Kostiantynivka of Marinka community were shelled. In the morning, Avdiivka suffered a massive artillery attack and the area of Avdiivka Coke Plant was hit.

Towards Horlivka, 4 buildings were damaged in Nykyforivka of Soledar community and Rozdolivka, Vasiukivka and Minkivka shelled. 2 private buildings and an industrial building were damaged in Chasiv Yar community. 6 houses, an administrative building and an infrastructure facility were damaged in Toretsk.

Luhansk oblast

According to Luhansk Regional Military Administration, russian troops are attacking using aircraft and a large part of ground equipment. They are trying to take advantage of the cold weather. Yesterday, four of their attacks were repelled near Novoiehorivka of Svatove region. Novoiehorivka, Bilohorivka and the territory of Serebrianka forestry were also hit from the sky. The shelling also affected settlements, including Nevske and Makiivka, where people are still living.

Forced mobilisation of residents continues in Starobilsk. In order to avoid being recruited for military service in the russian army, men do not show up for work, hide, or move to smaller settlements. Mobilised citizens, who are unable to escape, are sent for military training in Krasnodar region.

On paper, russians switched on centralised heating in Lysychansk at the end of September. In fact, instead of heating, they offered residents both relocation and their own preparation for the winter. Also the russian government announced the repair of the city’s heating circuit. Earthworks began when the ground was already frozen. They will not be preparing the entire heating system, but only in the highly populated area of the city. That is, only in downtown, where the majority of residents are russians and collaborators.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

Ruslan Kravchenko, Head of Kyiv RMA, reported that as a result of the russian missile attack on November 11, 18 residential buildings were damaged, windows and doors smashed, roofs and facades damaged. A number of outbuildings, fences, and a private enterprise were damaged.

A tigress from the Wildlife Rescue Centre was injured during a missile attack on Kyiv oblast on November 11. Now the animal is feeling better. It started to get up and went out of the enclosure into the yard by itself. Currently, the tigress continues to receive anti-inflammatory and pain relief therapy.

In Vorzel, the lyceum is being extended to include a building for primary classes with a shelter, which will allow children to study full-time in one shift and create safe conditions for the educational process. The construction work is being carried out at the expense of the Armed Aggression Relief Fund.

Korea Airports Corp. and Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co. will join the reconstruction of Boryspil Airport. The state-owned airport operator of South Korea will provide navigation equipment to restore security and airport management consulting services. Hyundai will be responsible for design, procurement and construction.

Vitalii Klychko, Mayor of Kyiv, reported that in 2024, the capital will allocate another billion hryvnias under the Defender programme to support Ukrainian soldiers. The capital also continues to attract assistance from international partners to send the most necessary supplies to the frontline.

According to Mayor Vitalii Klychko, a meeting was held with the Mayor of Stockholm, Karin Wannhard. They discussed further cooperation between the capitals of Ukraine and Sweden, the implementation of joint projects, the reconstruction of Kyiv, and assistance in the humanitarian and social spheres.

Kyiv RMA reported that the 72nd Brigade received 96 drones, a pickup truck, thermal imagers, heaters and other necessary equipment from communities, volunteers and business representatives of Kyiv oblast. Since the summer of 2022, the soldiers have been holding the eastern front in Donetsk oblast.

An exhibition Tense Horizon. Longing for Crimea by Elmira Shemsedinova has opened at the Crimean House in Kyiv. The exhibition is the artist’s personal response to the occupation of Crimea and the events unfolding in Ukraine. It is about all the occupied southern Ukrainian lands that people used to associate exclusively with tourism.

Zhytomyr oblast

According to Zhytomyr RMA, the Second Forum of Regional Communities Capable Governance on the Way to the European Union was held. The forum participants, together with representatives of communities of the oblast and partners from Estonia, discussed the issue of Ukraine’s approaching one step closer to the European Union and the opportunities and prospects that will appear for communities.

With the assistance of the Republic of Estonia, 10 rehabilitation specialists were sent to an Estonian medical institution for training.

The Regional Centre of Social Services reported that the training of another group of facilitators to run a group stress management course for adults has been completed in Zhytomyr. The course consists of five sessions and aims to help adults learn to manage stress. The course was developed by the World Health Organization.

Zhytomyr RMA reported that Mihhail Kõlvart, Mayor of Tallinn, attended the opening ceremony of the Inner Contour photo exhibition by Illia Bel at the National Museum of Cosmonautics. He got acquainted with the photo exhibition, two museum expositions, tasted space perfume, and travelled through space in VR glasses.

Sumy oblast

According to Sumy RMA, at night, the russians carried out a mortar attack on Krasnopillia community. There were 4 explosions. 

The enemy fired 6 times at the border areas of Sumy oblast. There were 20 attacks with mortars and artillery. Yunakivka, Krasnopillia, Myropil and Shalyhine communities were shelled.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, over the past week, bomb squads in Sumy Oblast discovered and destroyed 22 explosive items. These are artillery and rocket shells, mortar shells and hand grenades. They were discovered in Konotop, Shostka, Sumy and Okhtyrka regions.

Chernihiv oblast

Viacheslav Chaus, Head of the RMA, reported that over the past week, the enemy fired 63 times at 17 border settlements in Chernihiv oblast. There were 569 explosions. The shelling of the town of Semenivka damaged administrative buildings, a residential building and an outbuilding. The number of settlements in the region without electricity supply due to shelling has also increased.

According to Chernihiv RMA, during the full-scale invasion, 32 business facilities in Chernihiv oblast were modernised or reconstructed. The amount spent for this purpose totalled about UAH 600 million.

According to ISKA Ukraine, Serhii Lysiuk, a native of Chernihiv oblast, a talented athlete, multiple champion of Ukraine, Europe and the world in kickboxing, was seriously injured while performing a combat mission in the Donetsk sector. He is currently in intensive care in a hospital in Dnipro.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

The enemy shelled Nikopol region twice with artillery. In the evening,  Marhanets community was attacked, and later in the night – Chervonohryhorivka. More than half a dozen shells were fired. There was no damage or casualties. During the day, the enemy attacked Nikopol region twice with artillery and once with a kamikaze drone. They hit Nikopol and shelled Pokrovske community. A 42-year-old man was injured in Nikopol. He was provided with all the necessary medical care. Two infrastructure facilities, 3 private houses, 3 outbuildings, garages, a gas pipeline and a power line were damaged.

Yuriy Shchyhol, Head of the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection, informs that Dnipropetrovsk oblast is the first in the UAV procurement ranking. The Dozorro platform has revealed that out of 1629 local executive authorities in Ukraine, only 247 (15%) have purchased UAVs for the Armed Forces. The estimated number of lost UAVs can be as high as 1,350 per month, so the need for them is constantly relevant. 

 

Serhiy Lysak, Head of the RMA, says that three more cars and an armoured vehicle went to the fighters. The vehicles have undergone technical inspection and routine maintenance, with  the gas tank enlarged and all-terrain wheels installed. The armoured personnel carrier was equipped with a thermal imager. After modernization, it has a Mercedes engine. Now the updated BRDM has become more powerful. At the same time, it requires half as much fuel. Instead of 40 liters, only 17.

Vinnytsia oblast

The city council informs that as part of the project of the Interregional Humanitarian Coordination Center, five mobile baths were prepared for the defenders. Mavicars, scopes, thermal imagers and other equipment needed by the military to the front line were also sent. 

Valentyna Voitkova, Director of the Social Policy Department of the City Council, reports that on November 15, Vinnytsia will host an information event for family members of fallen (deceased) defenders and family members of military personnel. They will be taught how to retrain and get a new profession. The event was organized by the Department of Social Policy of Vinnytsia City Council. Vinnytsia City Council attracts maximum possible resources to help those categories of the community’s population who are most in need of improving their financial situation to acquire new professional skills. 

Kirovohrad oblast

In Kropyvnytskyi, military uniforms are being made for women defenders. A brand of military equipment and clothing of various sizes and models was created by Maria Velychko, a resident of Kropyvnytskyi. Asgard, a military clothing brand, started its operations in Kropyvnytskyi after the full-scale invasion. They started sewing clothes for female defenders after a servicewoman approached them and asked to alter her men’s uniform. Today, the range includes women’s pants, a jacket, a tunic, and various jackets. Anoraks are especially in demand. This is a short sports jacket without a fastener at the bottom. The Kropyvnytskyi garment company employs six seamstresses. You have to wait for the order for six-seven days.

Poltava oblast

Soldiers from Kremenchuk and Reshetylivka communities, Oleksandr Ovcharenko and Serhii Bohushevsky, were killed at the frontline. Oleksandr Ovcharenko was killed on October 31 while performing a combat mission near the town of Avdiivka in Donetsk Oblast. On November 11, Serhii Bohushevsky died in hospital from blood poisoning and wounds received near the town of Marinka, Donetsk region.

Cherkasy oblast

Tetiana Kharenko, Director of the Financial Policy Department, says that at a meeting of the Budget Committee, MPs agreed to increase funding for the Armed Forces support program by UAH 150 million. 

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

Yesterday, the russian military conducted 57 attacks on 21 populated areas in Zaporizhzhia oblast. There were 54 artillery attacks in front-line cities and villages, including Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Klapany, Preobrazhenka, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Bilohiria, Poltavka, Luhivske, Kamianske, and Plavni. The enemy also targeted Orikhiv and Robotyne from the air and attacked Levadne with drones. Local residents were unharmed, but there are reports of a building being damaged.

Zaporizhzhia RMA reported that the aftermath of the attack on Zarichne has been eliminated. The most affected were building structures, windows, and roofs. Materials for reconstruction were provided by a charitable organization, namely kits for emergency restoration work such as tarps, wooden rails, polyethylene film, OSB boards, etc.

A search is underway for a 10-year-old boy in the temporarily occupied Melitopol. Mayor Ivan Fedorov, reports that the grandfather who took care of the boy, Vadym, recently passed away in Enerhodar. According to officials, the occupation “social services” took the child. The remaining relatives in custody cannot obtain any information about him from the occupying authorities.

Police officers evacuated a 92-year-old man from the village of Prymorske. He lived for a long time under the constant russian attacks but decided to evacuate to his daughter in Khmelnytskyi.

A charity fair called With Ukraine in the Heart is ongoing in Zaporizhzhia, where paintings created by children are being sold. The goal of the event is to raise UAH 300K for a vehicle for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In total, 62 children from 5 schools have participated in the event. The charity event will continue until the required amount is collected. According to the organizers, employees of Zaporizhzhia Customs purchased a painting titled “Free” by 12-year-old student Valeriia Dovbishchuk for almost UAH 20K.

Mykolaiv oblast

Vitalii Kim, Head of Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, reports that on the night of November 13, the russian army launched artillery strikes on the villages of Solonchaky and Dniprovske in Kutsurub community. Additionally, russian forces shelled the city of Ochakiv and two villages in Kutsurub community on November 12. There have been no reported casualties or injuries. 

Mykolaiv continues its collaboration with international partners. On November 13, a meeting was held with representatives of the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC). The NRC representatives shared information about their work in Mykolaiv oblast, focusing on providing assistance to residents in remote areas. They plan to expand their activities to include the city of Mykolaiv.

Odesa oblast

Two anti-ship mines, having been brought by the sea to the shores of Mykolaiv and Odesa oblasts, were destroyed during the past week. In both cases, specialists managed to safely destroy the dangerous findings. It is emphasized that the level of mine danger remains extremely high. This information was provided by the press service of AFU.

A delegation of journalists from 11 African countries visited the Odesa port. During the meeting, Dmytro Barinov,Deputy Chairman of the Administration of Sea Ports of Ukraine,  and Denys Karpov, Head of Odesa Port, acquainted the guests with the operation of the Ukrainian grain corridor.

Bridget Brink, U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine, says that the trade route through the Black Sea continues to operate despite russia’s threats and withdrawal from the grain agreement. Today, the 100th ship has entered the Black Sea Humanitarian Corridor — an export lifeline for Ukraine, which made possible to deliver 3.7 million tons of food and goods worldwide. 

Kherson oblast

Around 14:00, the enemy shelled the Central district in Kherson city with artillery. The impact zone included a hospital, shops, cafes, a judicial institution, private houses, and an educational institution. As a result of fires that broke out after the explosions, 10 vehicles were destroyed or damaged, including 2 police cars and medical transport. Currently, there is information about 9 injured individuals – 4 women and 5 men. Two residents of Kherson were killed as a result of the russian attack.

The russian army struck Beryslav, resulting in two casualties. A 70-year-old woman was diagnosed with explosive trauma and leg injuries. Medical assistance was provided on-site to a 49-year-old man who suffered a concussion and explosive trauma.

In the morning, russians shelled Shliakhove in Beryslav community. Civilian homes, cars, and economic structures were damaged by enemy fire. There were no casualties.

On November 13, 2023, around 11:40, the russian military shelled the road at the entrance to Zelenivka in Kherson region. Projectiles hit a passenger car carrying a man, a woman, and a two-month-old baby. The 64-year-old driver was killed, the 36-year-old woman suffered traumatic leg amputation, and medical professionals are currently fighting for her life. The child with mine-explosive injuries was also hospitalized.

The enemy carried out 53 shelling attacks, firing 279 projectiles from mortars, artillery, Grad MLRSs, tanks, grenade launchers, drones, and aviation. The russian forces launched guided bombs twice on Tiahynka, causing damage to at least 18 private homes. Explosions from air bombs were also reported in Beryslav, Ivanivka, and Novoberyslav. Using MLRS and artillery, the enemy targeted civilian infrastructure in Kherson, resulting in casualties among the civilian population. A private sector in Dniprovskyi district was shelled. One person was killed and another one injured due to the russian aggression. In total, 4 criminal cases related to war crimes committed by russian forces in Kherson oblast were opened over the past day.

According to the South Operational Command, 27 occupiers were eliminated on the left bank.

Police juvenile prevention officers evacuated a mobility-impaired man and his 14-year-old son from the village of Antonivka, located on the front line near the Dnipro River. Antonivka experiences daily attacks on private homes, power outages, and significant damage to residential buildings. Due to this situation, a local resident and his underage son were forced to leave their home. In the future, with the assistance of volunteers, the father and son will be transported to Irpin, where they will reside in a special center for mobility-impaired individuals. According to the press office of Kherson RMA, as of November 13, there are 345 children in Kherson oblast who live in the places constantly shelled by russian army.

Children from Kherson oblast are heading to Turkey for recreation. Forty-four children, including orphans and those deprived of parental care, along with caregivers, will undergo a rehabilitation course on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea in Antalya. This trip became possible within the Childhood Without War project aimed at evacuating Ukrainian children to Turkey during the war and returning home after victory.

Latest news for today in the western regions of Ukraine

Volyn oblast

Since the beginning of russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Volyn has hosted 78 871 IDPs, including 78 people evacuated from November 6 to 12. 48 519 people have the status of IDPs, of which 13,753 are children under the age of 18.

Zakarpattia oblast

Uzhhorod City Council held a meeting with Peter Bober, Honorary Citizen of Uzhhorod, Chairman of the Council of the Association of Twin Cities Corvallis-Uzhhorod and a public figure from the USA. This visit is dedicated to support and further cooperation in the medical field.

Representatives of Uzhhorod City Council and Zakarpattia Regional Council visited the Czech sister city of Yihlava on a working trip. They discussed support and joint projects.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

The RMA reported that Kosovo sent 6 DJI Mavic 3 quadcopters to the Territorial Defense Battalion thanks to the funds from the auction.

Svitlana Onyshchuk, Head of the RMA, met with families of Heroes who gave their lives for Ukraine and presented them state awards of fallen soldiers.

Lviv oblast

Valerii Veremchuk, Head of Lviv City Council Health and Social Protection Commission, reported that the building of the Unbroken rehabilitation center will be opened in the premises of Lviv Euparchy of the UOC. The rehabilitation center will have 70 beds.

The Museum of Modern Heroes operates on the basis of the Horodotsky Lyceum. It was opened in memory of fallen soldiers, graduates of the institution – Taras Kuleba and Andrii Odukha. Taras Kuleba, soldier-grenade thrower of the 80th separate amphibious assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was killed on August 16, 2014 in the village of Krasne, Luhansk oblast. Andrii Odukha, soldier of the 80th separate airborne assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was killed on August 26, 2014 during the defense of Luhansk airport.

There are already 7 centers of national and patriotic education in Lviv. Here, students learn pre-medical and tactical training, and also practice shooting. Shooting leagues also started this week in Lviv schools.

Rivne oblast

During its operation, the Center for Mental Health of Rivne oblast provided almost 200 consultations. Over one and a half hundred residents of the oblast received help in phone mode. Another 40 people visited the facility in person. Most of the appeals are from women aged 20 to 60 years.

Ternopil oblast

Buchach City Council has increased expenditures on providing assistance for the treatment of military personnel and participants in hostilities by UAH 1,7 mln.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

The community in Shepetiv region continues to eliminate the consequences of the air attack in the oblast. 111 windows of Krupets lyceum were blown out after an enemy attack in Khmelnytskyi on October 25. In total, almost one and a half thousand residential buildings were damaged in the community. In addition, administrative buildings were mutilated. In the shortest possible time, representatives of the region and oblast authorities joined in overcoming the consequences.

Chernivtsi oblast

The RMA reported that Hlybock and Novoselytsk communities of Chernivtsi oblast presented Bukovyna at the ACT NOW Conference of Mayors in 2023 Spirit Unbroken: Empowering Local Democracy to Renew Ukraine, which was held in Brussels (Belgium).

The Government of Norway allocated another €84 mln for humanitarian support to Ukraine. The funds will be directed through Norwegian specialized organizations primarily to support people who have lost their homes, as well as to education, medical services, psychological support and protection of the civilian population, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway.

De Telegraaf reported that the US purchased 60 Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft guns from Jordan for shipment to Ukraine. Weapons were previously sold to Amman by the Netherlands.

Training of Ukrainian pilots on F-16 fighter jets is starting in Romania. Pilot training will last 6 months. The Lockheed US company, which manufactures the F-16, provided instructors and technical personnel for the exercises.

The American state of Wyoming recognized the Holodomor of 1932-1933 as genocide of the Ukrainian people. The state declared November the month of his memory. This is already the 32nd state that has made such a decision.

Andrii Yermak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, arrived on a working visit to the USA and met with representatives of the Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar communities at the Ukrainian House in Washington. They discussed the situation on the battlefield and Ukraine’s need for defense and financial assistance.

Lieutenant General Kyrylo Budanov, Head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, met with Admiral William McRaven, former commander of the US Special Operations Forces,. They discussed the situation at the front.
