Over the last day, the russian forces launched 9 missile and 39 air strikes, fired 35 times from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troops’ positions and settlements. Unfortunately, there are civilians killed and wounded, including children. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed.
There is still a threat of russian terrorists launching missile and air strikes throughout Ukraine.
There were about 30 combat engagements during the day.
Towards Volyn and Polissia, the situation remained unchanged with no signs of enemy offensive groups detected.
Towards Siversk and Sloboda, russian troops launched an airstrike in the areas of Stepne in Sumy oblast and Udy in Kharkiv oblast. More than 30 settlements, including Senkivka, Turia, Bleshnya, and Buchky in Chernihiv oblast; Mefodiivka, Sytne, Starykove, Mohrytsia, Stepok, Riasne in Sumy oblast; Udy, Veterynarne, Starytsia, Vovchansk, Nesterne and Budarky in Kharkiv oblast were shelled.
Towards Kupiansk, Ukrainian troops are holding steadfastly, successfully repelling enemy attacks east of Berestove in Kharkiv oblast and near Novoselivske in Luhansk oblast. The enemy conducted an airstrike near Druzheliubivka in Donetsk oblast. He fired artillery and mortar shells at more than 10 settlements, including Odradne, Kolodiazne, Kamianka, Fiholivka, Novomlynsk and Zakhidne in Kharkiv oblast.
Towards Lyman, the enemy conducted airstrikes north of Serebrianka and near Spirne in Donetsk oblast. Nevske and Bilohorivka in Luhansk oblast and Torske, Verkhnekamianske and Spirne in Donetsk oblast were shelled with artillery.
Towards Bakhmut, more than 10 settlements suffered from enemy artillery shelling, including Razdolivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Hryhorivka, Ivanivske, Predtechyne and Bila Hora in Donetsk oblast.
Towards Avdiivka, russian troops conducted airstrikes in the vicinity of Niu York and Avdiivka. They continue to shell populated areas, in particular, Berdychi, Avdiivka, Pervomaiske and Karlivka in Donetsk oblast.
Towards Marinka sector, the enemy conducted an airstrike near Krasnohorivka. Defense forces continue to hold back the russian offensive in the areas of Marinka and Pobieda. The enemy shelled a number of settlements, including Marinka, Pobieda, Heorhiivka and Hostre in Donetsk oblast.
Towards Shakhtarsk, the enemy conducted airstrikes in the areas of Vuhledar, Blahodatne and Staromaiorsk. In the area of the latter, there were unsuccessful attempts to regain lost position. Vodiane, Vuhledar and Blahodatne in Donetsk oblast were shelled.
Towards Zaporizhzhia and Kherson, the russian forces are focusing their main efforts on preventing further advance of Ukrainian troops. The occupiers conducted airstrikes near the settlements of Malynivka and Mala Tokmachka in Zaporizhzhia oblast. More than 35 settlements came under artillery fire, including Levadne, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Orikhiv, Stepove and Kamianske in Zaporizhzhia oblast; Dmitrovka and Ochakiv, Mykolaiv oblast; Mykhailivka, Dudchany, Beryslav, Lviv, Kherson and Dniprovske in Kherson oblast.
At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct offensive operations towards Melitopol and Berdiansk, consolidating their positions, inflicting artillery fire on the enemy targets identified, and conducting counter-battery operations.
The russian occupiers continue to use civilian infrastructure in the temporarily occupied settlements. For example, the enemy deployed about 100 russian servicemen in the premises of a miner’s dispensary in Nyzhnii Naholchyk, Luhansk oblast, and more than 100 occupiers were deployed in the buildings of an educational institution in Semykozivka, Luhansk oblast.
Aviation of the Defense Forces conducted 7 strikes on buildups of enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment and 3 strikes on enemy anti-aircraft missile systems.
Rocket and artillery units destroyed 2 enemy anti-aircraft missile systems, a heavy flamethrower system TOS-1A Solntsepyok, an artillery vehicle at a firing position and 4 buildups of enemy personnel.
The Ukrainian company Opendatabot reports that over the past seven months, the birth rate in Ukraine has decreased by 28%. This is the worst figure since Ukraine’s independence.
Yulia Svyrydenko, First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine, informs that all procurements, except for weapons and military equipment, will be conducted through the Prozorro system. These will be open tenders or requests for proposals in the Prozorro Market electronic catalog.
Recent war events in the east of Ukraine
Serhii Cherevatyi, Spokesman of the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said that three russian T-72 tanks, three BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles, a 240-mm Tulip self-propelled mortar, a UAV, a field ammunition depot and three vehicles were destroyed.
Yesterday the invaders attacked the positions of our troops 655 times with artillery towards Lyman and Kupiansk and conducted eight air raids.
During nine engagements, 29 invaders were eliminated and 87 injured.
Kharkiv oblast
Towards Kupiansk, hostilities continue. On July 31, the invaders unsuccessfully tried to conduct an assault east of Berestove, Kupiansk region. They retreated with losses.
Oleh Syniehubov, Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration reported about midnight shelling. There were hits on the territory of a civilian enterprise in Nova Bavariia district. Fires broke out. A 61-year-old security guard was injured and hospitalized.
Around midnight, a russian S-300 missile hit the garden of a private household in Velykyi Burluk, Kupiansk region. Viktor Tereshchenko, Head of the Village Military Administration, said that at least 20 buildings on two streets were damaged, including those where IDPs lived. Administrative buildings, a lyceum and a sports school were also damaged.
Last night the enemy struck Shyikivka village, Izium region. A 74-year-old woman was killed. A 53-year-old woman and a 76-year-old man were injured. Their house burned down.
In addition, yesterday the enemy shelled settlements of Chuhuiv, Bohodukhiv and Kupiansk regions with artillery, mortars and other weapons.
In Vovchansk, 4 residential buildings were damaged and an 84-year-old man injured.
The enemy dropped two grenades from an UAV on Tymofiivka village, Bohodukhiv region. Two fences were damaged, there were no casualties.
Viktor Kovalenko, Head of Zolochiv Village Military Administration, reported about the helicopter shelling. According to him, the shells hit a private household, killing livestock.
The press service of the Regional Administration reported that russian troops launched an airstrike on Druzheliubivtsi village, Borove community. russians also shelled Shyikivka with artillery. Oleksandr Tertyshnyi, Head of Borove Village Military Administration said that as a result of the airstrike on Druzheliubivka, seven buildings were damaged, gas supply was restored and power engineers are repairing the electricity supply.
The press service of the Regional Administration informed that on July 31, at around 10 am, russian troops shelled Shevchenkove village, Kupiansk region. The missile hit the private sector, destroying one building and damaging at least six others.

In Nova Bavariia district of Kharkiv, russian missiles damaged two enterprises. This is the second time that Kharkiv resident Oleksandr Strakhov’s business has suffered damage from russian aggression. On 1 April 2022, his enterprise was bombed in Chuhuiv district: everything burned down. A year and three months later, there was a second hit.

Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the Regional Military Administration stated that school students of Derhachi community received 145 tablets and chromebooks from UNICEF and with the assistance of Iryna Vereshchuk, Vice Prime Minister – Minister of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine. In addition, 14 communities received 167 recreational kits, 109 early child development kits and 10 school-in-a-box kits.
Donetsk oblast
Hanna Maliar, Deputy Minister of Defence reported that over the past week, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated 2 square kilometres towards Bakhmut. There were 170 engagements between Ukrainian and russian troops towards Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka sectors last week.
Donetsk Regional Military Administration said that on 30 July, russians killed one civilian in Predtechyne and injured seven more.
On July 30, russians launched a missile attack on Kramatorsk, damaging an administrative building and an enterprise.
Towards Volnovakha, the enemy shelled Vuhledar 26 times with artillery. Prechystivka and Maksymivka were under attack. In Vesele, Komar community, a farm was damaged.
Towards Donetsk, a building in Krasnohorivka was damaged. Kurakhove community was shelled twice and the outskirts of Ocheretyne community were targeted. In the morning there was a massive shelling of Avdiivka.
Towards Horlivka, 1 person was killed in Predtechyne, Kostiantynivka community. In Kostiantynivka, 5 people were injured and 21 private buildings were damaged. Two apartment buildings, 2 private buildings and 1 infrastructure facility were damaged in Chasiv Yar community. In Toretsk, 20 buildings were damaged and 2 people injured. In the morning, russians launched 4 airstrikes on Niu York.
Towards Lysychansk, 2 buildings were destroyed in Yampil of Lyman community, and a building in Pereizne of Zvanivka community damaged.
Vitalii Barabash, Head of the City Military Administration reported that on 30 July, russian troops massively shelled Avdiivka 21 times, not counting isolated attacks. There is not a single surviving building in the city, it is destroyed by 95 per cent and communications are completely destroyed.
In the morning, Niu York village suffered four airstrikes within ten minutes, from 8:35 to 08:45 am, when russians dropped FAB 500 bombs. A boarding school and 46 buildings on five streets were destroyed. There were no casualties due to the evacuation of the population.
Luhansk oblast
Luhansk Regional Military Administration reported that russian troops are unable to gain ground advantage but they do not stop artillery pressure on the positions of our soldiers and on the territory of villages near the front line. Nevske and Bilohorivka were under attack from cannons, Grad MRLs and mortars every day. The enemy is also attacking from the air. Yesterday they attacked Bilohorivka and the villages of Donetsk oblast located near the administrative border with Luhansk oblast.
The number of casualties in the occupation forces has increased significantly. The bodies of the dead russians are not physically moved out of the local morgues in time. This situation has recently occurred in Svatove, where the morgue has been overcrowded for a week, as evidenced by the putrid smell around it.
In Starobilsk, the invaders forcibly transferred a significant part of the medical staff from local hospitals to their military hospitals to provide medical care to the injured invaders. As a result, there is not enough medical staff to treat local residents.

Kyiv oblast
Andriy Kostin, Prosecutor General, informs that the investigation into the plane crash in Brovary, which killed the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, rejected theories of attempted assassination and sabotage. According to him, law enforcement officers will soon make public the results of the pre-trial investigation into the case.
Ruslan Kravchenko, Head of the Regional State Administration, says that winter preparations are underway in Kyiv oblast and measures are being taken to ensure a stable heating season.
As of today, the oblast’s readiness is almost 60%. Boiler houses, heating networks, pumping stations and water supply systems are being repaired.
According to Baryshivka community, traffic has resumed across the rebuilt bridge over the Trubizh River, which was destroyed between the villages of Selyshche and Pasichna during the hostilities in the community in March of 2012.
The Kyiv City Territorial Center for Social Services received 11 specialized vehicles to transport people with disabilities. Mayor Vitali Klitschko says that the need for special vehicles is constantly growing, in particular due to the increasing number of defenders who have received disabilities. The transportation department provides services within the city to the clients of the centre so that they can have access to medical and rehabilitation facilities, cultural and sports events, and visit administrative institutions.
The International Conference “Humanitarian Demining in Ukraine. Problems and solutions” was attended by government officials, relevant agencies, agribusiness, private companies that manufacture demining equipment, certification bodies, Ukrainian startups, engineers, inventors, civil society activists, and international organizations.
An interactive Memorial of Memory was installed in Brovary’s Peremoha Park to commemorate the fallen soldiers in the russian-Ukrainian war. The digital memorial collected information about the community members who gave their lives defending Ukraine.
Zhytomyr oblast
According to Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, in Zhytomyr oblast, 50% of the facilities damaged by russian missile and bomb attacks and drone attacks have been restored. Natalia Ostapchenko, Deputy head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration said that 4,814 buildings have been damaged by russia’s armed aggression, of which 2,437 have been restored, including residential buildings and infrastructure.
There will be 17 STEM laboratories for children in Zhytomyr oblast – the spaces are being created in schools and vocational education institutions. The project is being implemented by NGO In Touch Ukraine Foundation with the support of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF). The laboratories will be equipped with laptops, robotics kits, 3D printers, microcontroller kits, virtual reality glasses, etc.
Serhii Sukhomlin, Mayor of Zhytomyr, announced that three Mavic drones were sent from Zhytomyr to the frontline. The drones were sent to an infantry battalion to operate in hot spots.
Foresters in the Zhytomyr oblast conducted an excursion for displaced children from eastern and southern Ukraine. The event, which was attended by specialists from Stanyshiv forestry, was organized in cooperation with the Caritas charity foundation. The children were able to take a walk in the forest and learn interesting facts about the life of forest inhabitants, as well as visit the forestry’s greenhouses where tree seedlings are grown.
Sumy oblast
The enemy carried out 5 attacks with a total of 30 explosions at night and in the morning. 5 settlements in 5 territorial communities were shelled, namely Krasnopillia, Bilopillia, Yunakivka, Shalyhyne, and Velyka Pysarivka. The attacks were carried out with mortars, grenade launchers, and machine guns.
On July 30, the russians made 32 attacks during the day. There were 169 explosions. 22 settlements in 7 territorial communities were shelled, namely Krasnopillia, Bilopillia, Yunakivka, Esman, Seredyno-Buda, Znob-Novhorodske, and Velyka Pysarivka. They were attacked with mortars, artillery, self-propelled artillery systems, an explosive charged from an enemy UAV and a copter-type drone. A 36-year-old civilian was wounded in Krasnopillia. Houses, cars, and service stations were damaged.
Volodymyr Artiukh, Head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration reported that July 31 was declared a Day of Mourning in Sumy and expressed his condolences to the families of the victims of the russian missile strike on school on 29 July.
Yurii Polous, Chief of Staff of the territorial defense headquarters, reported that explosive ordnance experts found 19 explosive devices last week in Sumy oblast .
Sumy RMA reported that 1812 protective structures were installed in Sumy oblast over the month. Work on the construction and monitoring of protective facilities is ongoing.
As of July, UNESCO confirmed the damage to 12 monuments in Sumy oblast since February 24, 2022. These include Okhtyrka City Museum of Local Lore, People’s House, House of the Manager of the Estate of L.E. Koenig, Monument in honour of the 183rd Tank Brigade, Okhtyrka City Council, Smorodyne Steam Train Depot, Main House – Museum of the Estate of L.E. Koenig’s estate, part of the Trostianets Museum and Exhibition Centre, Soviet soldiers’ mass grave and monument in the village of Velyka Pysarivka, a local architectural monument, merchant F. Chernihiv oblast
Halyna Shekhovtsova, Spokesperson for the Chernihiv Border Guard Detachment, reported that on July 30, the occupiers fired at Horodnia, Novhorod-Siversk and Semenivka communities in Chernihiv oblast. There were 8 explosions in the villages of Senkivka, 12 in Hremyach, 9 in Buchky, 2 towards Progres, and 2 more towards Bleshnia. They were probably fired from a mortar.
400 K hectares of forests in Chernihiv oblast have been damaged by the war. According to the operational headquarters for recording environmental crimes, forests in Chernihiv oblast suffered the most from mining and fires. The total area of damaged forests in Ukraine is 3 mln hectares, and it will take at least 20 years to restore them.
Ivanivka village council reported that modular houses are being installed for residents whose homes were destroyed during the war. The first two houses were built in the village of Sloboda. The financial assistance is provided by the American charity fund To Ukraine with Love.
A training course for instructors in basic military, individual firearms and psychological assistance was held in Chernihiv oblast. The 5-day event was initiated by the Training Command of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Dnipropetrovsk oblast
According to Mykola Lukashuk, Head of the Regional Council, the enemy shelled Nikopol region seven times during the night. They fired from artillery at Nikopol and the outskirts of Marhanets community.

Vinnytsia oblast
Students of Kalynivka community in Vinnytsia oblast will be taught the basics of democracy for two weeks at the summer club, We Are at Home in Ukraine. The children will also be provided with psychological and physical recreation.
Kirovohrad oblast

Cherkasy oblast
In Cherkasy, volunteers distributed 600 food packages to internally displaced people.
According to Ihor Taburets, Head of Cherkasy State Administration, children of fallen defenders from the oblast went on a week-long vacation to the Alps.
Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine
Zaporizhzhia oblast
Yuriy Malashko, Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported that on July 30, the occupiers shelled frontline villages and towns in Zaporizhzhia oblast with artillery and multiple rocket launchers, attacked Huliaipole with a UAV and launched an airstrike on Orikhiv. The russian military carried out 67 artillery attacks on Zaliznychne, Novoandriivka, Novodarivka, Malynivka, Kamianske, Stepove, Piatikhatky and other frontline villages. In addition, they fired from multiple rocket launchers at Mali Shcherbaki, Levadne and Temyrivka, attacked Huliaypole and Olhivske with UAVs, and conducted an airstrike on Orikhiv. Two people were injured in the attack.
It became known that the russians fired an S-300 missile at Zaporizhzhia. It killed two people and injured three others. The tragedy occurred on Saturday, but the police only provided details today. The blast wave and missile fragments damaged apartments in high-rise buildings, parked cars, high-voltage power lines, shops, and other buildings at enterprises and infrastructure facilities around the epicentre of the hit. A man and a woman were fatally injured by the missile strike, and three other people sought medical treatment in local hospitals.
This is not the first time that russian occupiers have robbed locals in the temporarily occupied city of Enerhodar using a well-established scheme. They come to people’s homes, allegedly conducting searches. While some turn over all the belongings, others “check” SIM cards and bank accounts. The invaders claim that they are checking whether the person being searched is sending money to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to the mayor of Enerhodar, Dmytro Orlov. After the search and inspection of the phone, Ukrainian SIM cards and bank cards are usually cut in half, and the bank application on the phone is deleted. After the SIM card and bank card are restored, the owner finds out that all funds from the card have been transferred to the accounts of the occupiers.
On 30 July, at 18:46, the russian military shelled a village in Zaporizhzhia region. As a result, a barley field caught fire. The area of the fire was 20 hectares. Before the arrival of the State Emergency Service units, local farmers had disked the field, thus preventing the fire from spreading and saving 60 hectares of crops.
Mykolaiv oblast
Mykolaiv Military Administration reported that on 30 July, at 10:52 and 16:25, the russian army fired artillery shells at the territory of Kutsurub community. An 84-year-old woman was injured in the evening shelling. A residential building and agricultural machinery were damaged.
On 30 July, a charity fair was organized in Nova Odesa, Mykolaiv oblast, to raise money for the needs of Ukrainian defenders. Masterclasses, entertainment and an auction of military trophies brought by the Ukrainian military were on offer. The event raised UAH 90 K.
Vitalii Kim, Head of Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, said that Mykolaiv’s ports will not be demined for now. This issue is important, but it is not relevant now. There are several reasons for this decision, including the russian shelling of the territories in the oblast.
Odesa oblast
As of 30 July, there were four russian ships on duty in the Black Sea, with no missile carriers spotted. However, the likelihood of further missile and air strikes remains high for Odesa oblast. Natalia Humeniuk, Head of the press centre of the ‘South’ Operational Command, said that the russian army is starting to pull up strategic aviation. In this way, the russians are preparing for certain manoeuvres and can prepare for future attacks on the territory of Ukraine.
In Odesa, volunteers who are displaced from Kherson have created a war museum. They collected exhibits in the frontline and de-occupied cities themselves – from missile and drone fragments to enemy uniforms and Ukrainian weapons. It also presents the occupiers’ diet, as well as dubious elements of tactical medicine, according to FREEDOM.
The State Agency of Land Reclamation and Fisheries of Ukraine reported that Japan is ready to modernize and restore rice irrigation systems in the south of Odesa oblast. The project is currently under discussion. The Ukrainian side has to prepare detailed information on the state of the rice industry, which has been seriously affected by russian aggression.
Kherson oblast
Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of Kherson Regional Military Administration, says that over the past day, the russian army fired 358 shells from mortars, artillery, Grads, tanks and UAVs. The enemy fired 36 shells at Kherson. 5 people were injured on residential areas of the region, as well as on the territory and buildings of the plant and the city enterprise.
On July 31, russian troops struck residential areas of Kherson. Korabelnyi district and the central part of the city were the most affected. As of 19:00, 4 dead and 18 wounded were reported. The youngest victim is only 16 years old. The girl was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

UNN reports with reference to Kherson Regional Military Administration that occupiers dropped a guided missile on Kozatske, Kherson oblast. An 80-year-old woman was killed as a result of the russian attack.
Kherson region police informs that on July 30, the russian army attacked Zmiivka village in Beryslav region from the air. At least 5 buildings were damaged by powerful explosions. In addition, the town of Beryslav came under tank fire from the occupiers, damaging a high-rise building and wounding two men aged 54 and 39.
UNN writes with reference to the institution’s official Facebook page that russian occupiers stole three paintings by Ivan Aivazovsky from the Kherson Regional Art Museum named after Oleksiy Shovkunenko.

The West Air Command received a car worth UAH 647K from Lviv within the framework of the city-wide program of support for defenders.
In just three months of operation of the ultra-modern Superhumans Center clinic in Lviv oblast, prosthetics were performed for over 40 Ukrainians. Rivne oblast
A charity fair was held in the village of Vitkovichi in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Almost UAH 40K was collected for the needs of defenders.
Ternopil oblast
On the day of the medical worker, Volodymyr Trush, Head of the RMA, honored medics of the oblast with awards. Currently, 64 medics of Ternopil oblast are in the combat zone.
Ternopil oblast continues to assist Kherson oblast in liquidating the consequences of the Kakhovka HPP dam explosion. For the second month in a row, specialists from the regional and district military administrations of Ternopil oblast are conducting inspections of buildings and structures.
Khmelnytskyi oblast
Memorial plaques were opened in two villages of Khmelnytskyi communities in honor of soldiers who were killed defending Ukraine. In the village of Kreminna, the memory of 22-year-old Viktor Shkromyda was commemorated, and in the village of Lapkivtsi, near the memorial sign in honor of fellow villagers, a memorial plaque was opened to the 27-year-old defender Eduard Klochanyk.
Chernivtsi oblast
Chernivtsi City Council allocated UAH 15.3 mln from the city budget to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In addition, it adopted a moratorium on the public use of russian-language cultural products in Chernivtsi.
The RMA held a meeting with members of the Youth Council, employees of the youth and sports department of the RMA, and active youth of Bukovyna. They discussed cooperation between the youth and authorities within the framework of the Victory Dialogues project. The initiative is implemented by the Youth Platform NGO within the framework of the Supporting Civil Society and Youth UNDP project, which is implemented with the financial support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.
International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)
Ukraine received $1.25 billion in grant funds from the US within the framework of the project Supporting Public Expenditures to Ensure Sustainable Public Administration in Ukraine (PEACE in Ukraine). The funds will be used to reimburse state budget expenses.
The Dennikn publication wrote that Slovakia is supposed to send two Zuzana 2 self-propelled artillery installations to Ukraine at the beginning of August. 16 machines were purchased jointly by three European countries.
MR-2 Viktor mobile air defense systems have been delivered from the Czech Republic and are participating in military exercises of Ukrainian fighters. Czechs collected $4 mln for the production of these anti-aircraft systems. They are made on the basis of all-terrain vehicles on which ZPU-2 machine guns were installed.
Gordan Hrlich Radman, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Croatia, arrived in Ukraine. The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Croatia has visited Hostomel in Kyiv oblast.
Olena Zelenska, First Lady of Ukraine, held a meeting with Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar. This is the first visit of a high-ranking Qatari official since the war began and the first visit of the Prime Minister of Qatar to Ukraine. They discussed building shelters in schools and rebuilding Izium Hospital.
At one of the largest opera festivals in Italy, an exhibition dedicated to Solomiya Krushelnytska, a world-famous opera singer from Ternopil oblast, was presented. Visitors saw the premiere of the new production Madame Butterfly, Puccini’s opera, which received world recognition thanks to the performance of Solomiya Krushelnytska.
In Batumi, students, oppositionists and civil activists protested against a cruise liner with russians arriving in Georgia. Demonstrators demanded that the liner leave the port of Batumi and chanted “Abkhazia is Georgia“. Some of the tour buses with russians were attacked with bottles and eggs.
