It has been the 1491  th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 4 pm:   

Since the beginning of the day, the aggressor has launched 69 attacks.

The aggressor continues shelling border areas. Today, in the Sumy region, the following settlements were affected: Prohres, Chervone, Volfyne, Bachivsk, Havrylova Sloboda, Novovasylivka, Iskryskivshchyna, Brusky, Malushyne, Marchyshyna Buda, Korenok; as well as Kostobobriv and Yeline in the Chernihiv region.

In the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, the enemy carried out 45 shelling attacks on settlements and positions of our troops, including one using multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).

In the South-Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy attacked twice toward the settlements of Zybyne and Okhrimivka.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy made one attempt to improve its tactical position near Pishchane.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian forces repelled four attempts by the invaders to advance toward the settlements of Kopanky, Drobysheve, and Lyman.

In the Sloviansk direction, the occupiers attempted twice to advance on our positions toward Zakitne and Riznykivka. One assault is ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers did not conduct offensive operations.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, the invaders carried out 11 attacks near the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Sofiivka, Illinivka, Novopavlivka, and Toretske.

In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have attempted 33 times to push our forces out of their positions near the settlements of Bilytske, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novopidhorodne, Molodetske, Horikhove, and Novopavlivka. Four enemy attacks are ongoing.

In the Oleksandrivsk direction, the enemy launched two offensives toward Oleksandrohrad and Krasnohirskyi. It also carried out airstrikes near Velykomykhailivka, Havrylivka, and Pidhavrylivka.

In the Huliaipole direction, 12 attacks took place toward our defensive positions near Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Varvarivka, and Olenokostiantynivka. Three enemy assaults are ongoing. Airstrikes were recorded in the areas of Vozdvyzhivka, Kopani, Huliaipilske, Yehorivka, Shyroke, and Novoselivka.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy carried out an airstrike near Liubymivka and is conducting one assault toward Prymorske.

In the Prydniprovske direction, the occupiers attempted to attack near the Antonivskyi Bridge.

No significant changes have been observed in other directions. No enemy attempts to advance have been recorded.

 

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Kharkiv oblast

Over the past 24 hours, 191 combat engagements have been recorded.

In the South-Slobozhanskyi direction, Russian forces attempted four times to break through defenses in the area of Vovchansk and toward Okhrimivka. In the Kupiansk direction, they carried out five attacks toward Petropavlivka, Novoosynove, Novoplatonivka, and Kurylivka.

In the Kupiansk district, rescuers pulled a घायल woman from under the rubble following Russian airstrikes with guided bombs—at least four strikes hit near a residential building.

In Shevchenkove, Russian forces attacked a hospital with a “Gerbera”-type drone. As a result of the strike, three patients were injured, hospital buildings were damaged, and a fire broke out covering an area of approximately 50 square meters.

At approximately 15:40, Russian forces struck Zolochiv in the Kharkiv region with a drone, damaging a House of Culture. There were no casualties. According to preliminary reports, the occupiers used a “Molniya”-type UAV.

In Kharkiv, as a result of drone attacks on March 25, at least nine people were affected. Five were injured (including women aged 66, 70, and 84, and men aged 58 and 71), while four others, including a 15-year-old girl, suffered acute stress reactions. One woman remains in critical condition.

The strikes were recorded in the Kholodnohirskyi and Novobavarskyi districts: apartment buildings and private houses, a kindergarten, gas networks, and municipal equipment were damaged; three vehicles were destroyed and another nine were damaged, and fires broke out. According to preliminary information, the Russians used “Geran-2” type UAVs for the attack.

The occupiers struck a civilian vehicle with a drone in the Zolochiv community. As a result of the attack, a 61-year-old man was killed.

In the morning, Russian forces attacked Velykyi Burluk with two “Geran-2” type UAVs. A non-residential building was damaged, and a fire broke out covering an area of 100 square meters. No casualties were reported.

This morning, Russian forces attacked an energy infrastructure facility in the Dergachi community. As a result, Bezruky, Leshchenky, and Slatyne were completely cut off from electricity, leaving 2,700 people without power. Electricity is also unavailable in the settlements of the Prudianka, Tokarivka, Kozacha Lopan, and Prokhody districts.

Over the past day, Kharkiv and 20 settlements in the region came under Russian attacks. As a result of the shelling, three people were injured: an 82-year-old woman in Dergachi, a 60-year-old man in Shypuvate (Velykyi Burluk community), and a 34-year-old woman in Tsupivka (Dergachi community).

Russian forces attacked the Slobidskyi and Osnovianskyi districts of Kharkiv with drones. For strikes on the Kharkiv region, the occupiers used 12 “Geran-2” type UAVs, 11 “Molniya” type UAVs, 6 FPV drones, and 19 unidentified drones.

As a result of the shelling, civilian infrastructure was damaged and destroyed in Kharkiv, as well as in the Bohodukhiv, Kupiansk, Kharkiv, and Chuhuiv districts. In particular, in Kharkiv a two-story residential building was damaged; in Zolochiv, two administrative buildings and five private houses were damaged; in Odnorobivka, an educational institution; in Shypuvate, a shop and a private house; and in Shevchenkove, an apartment building. Houses, outbuildings, an enterprise, a car, a scooter, a grain storage facility, agricultural machinery, and railway infrastructure were also damaged in other communities across the region.

Over the past day, the transit evacuation center in Lozova received 262 people. Since the beginning of its operation, 24,509 people have been registered there.

Due to the increasing number of people evacuating from areas under attack, staff rotations will be introduced for humanitarian workers at the transit center in Lozova.

Donetsk oblast

In the Pokrovsk direction, over the past day, the Defense Forces repelled 47 Russian assaults. The occupiers attacked near Rodynske, Hryshyne, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Molodetske, and toward Nove Shakhove, Novopidhorodne, Novopavlivka, Bilytske, and Shevchenko.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, Russian forces launched 39 assaults on Defense Forces positions. In the Lyman direction, nine combat engagements took place over the past day.

In Sloviansk, a warehouse caught fire as a result of Russian shelling, with the blaze covering 1,000 square meters. In total, over the past day, rescuers extinguished eight fires in the Donetsk region, five of which were caused by Russian attacks.

On March 25, Russian occupiers shelled 12 settlements in the Donetsk region. According to the police, 1,640 attacks were recorded over the course of the day along the front line and in residential areas. 35 civilian objects were damaged or destroyed, including 18 residential buildings. As a result of the massive shelling, one person was killed and four others were injured.

In Druzhkivka, Russian forces launched 19 “KAB-250” bombs and an FPV drone. As a result of the strikes, one civilian was killed and two others were injured. Twelve private houses, a boiler house, a garage, and a civilian car were damaged.

In Dobropillia, two civilians were injured due to an FPV drone strike.

In Kramatorsk, Russian forces attacked with drones. Five civilian vehicles were damaged. According to city authorities, on March 24 the occupiers struck three times with drones targeting a cemetery and residential areas.

In Kostiantynivka, a “KAB-250” bomb strike damaged an apartment building.

In Sloviansk, drone impacts were recorded. A garage, three non-residential premises, two civilian cars, as well as residential buildings and storage facilities were damaged. In Raihorodok, a private house was damaged. There were no casualties among civilians.

In Bilbasivka, Russian forces struck with a “Geran-2” UAV. Eleven private houses and two vehicles were damaged. In Yatskivka, three “KAB-250” bombs destroyed four private houses.

Since March 16, in Kostiantynivka, an additional 80 private houses and 17 apartment buildings have been declared destroyed. Property owners have been issued compensation certificates under the “eVidnovlennia” program totaling over 138 million UAH.

In total, over the entire period of commission work in Kostiantynivka, 416 houses have been declared destroyed. Owners have received 838 housing certificates worth more than 1 billion 323 million UAH.

In seven settlements in the Donetsk region where forced evacuation is ongoing, 144 children remain. This number includes minors from certain areas of Sloviansk where evacuation has not yet been approved. Six children are in Druzhkivka, 20 in Serhiivka (Andriivka community), 18 in Mykolaivka community, 13 in Sviatohirsk community, and 87 in Sloviansk, with their evacuation still awaiting approval. Since the beginning of March, 150 children have been evacuated from dangerous areas.

The Verkhovna Rada has approved a bill allowing the evacuation of children without parental consent from active combat zones. Decisions on mandatory evacuation are made by military administrations in coordination with the coordination headquarters. If parents refuse to leave, children may be evacuated by the police and handed over to guardianship authorities. Evacuations can be either general or partial—for children, people with disabilities, and the elderly. Since June 2025, nearly 147,000 people have been evacuated from frontline areas, including over 16,500 children. Forced evacuation of children in Donetsk region was first introduced in Bakhmut in March 2023 and has since been applied in communities where the security situation deteriorates.

This week, Donetsk region is completing the heating season, which has taken place under constant Russian shelling of critical infrastructure. According to the head of the regional administration, Vadym Filashkin, during recovery work under fire, workers from коммунальні services, energy, and gas sectors were killed or injured, and dozens of units of equipment were destroyed. In particular, five people were killed at “Donetskteplokomunenergo,” five at “Voda Donbasu,” and 11 among energy workers.

 

Luhansk oblast

In the Luhansk region, the occupiers conducted 14 assaults in the Lyman and Sloviansk directions and attempted to advance from the direction of Tverdokhlibove. At the same time, Russian forces continued massive shelling of settlements in the region: near Nadiia, they struck four times with artillery, four times with automatic grenade launchers, carried out four FPV drone attacks, and used mortars; in the area of Novoiehorivka, they fired with tube artillery and attacked positions with drones; near Hrekivka, they struck three times with mortars, twice with FPV drones, and carried out 25 drone-dropped attacks.

In the temporarily occupied Luhansk region, Russians are preparing new restrictions on mobile communication use. In particular, people over 60 are planned to be prohibited from receiving calls from abroad, while children would be restricted from receiving SMS codes for logging into popular services, further tightening control over the population.

Additional pressure is being exerted through the education system. Teachers in the Luhansk region are now required to monitor students’ activity on social media, while parents must oversee children’s accounts and report any “suspicious” content.

 

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

After a morning enemy attack, the city of Slavutych was temporarily left without centralized electricity supply, according to Mykola Kalashnyk, Head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration. Around 21,000 residents were left without power. Critical infrastructure has been switched to backup power sources. Heating and water supply are maintained. Social institutions are operating on generators. Points of Invincibility are open and ready to receive people.

Kyiv has begun preparations for the next heating season and is already implementing an energy resilience plan, with over 10 billion UAH allocated. According to Petro Panteleiev, First Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration, priorities include restoring energy facilities after Russian attacks, developing cogeneration, and increasing the number of backup power sources. The city is also working on physical protection of energy infrastructure and preparing residential buildings for possible outages.

In Kyiv on March 24, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with Latvia’s Minister of Defence Andris Spruds. The discussion focused on strengthening Ukraine’s air defense and providing additional missiles for air defense systems. The minister noted the modernization of the Ukrainian military and the level of training of its soldiers.

On March 25, a rally was held at Independence Square in Kyiv in support of prisoners of war, those missing in action, and fallen servicemen of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Families of missing servicemen continue to search for their loved ones and advocate for proper identification of bodies. In particular, the efforts concern soldiers of the 82nd Separate Air Assault Brigade.

 

Zhytomyr oblast

On March 24, the enemy struck the center of Zhytomyr. Around 17:00, an explosion occurred due to the fall of an enemy UAV. As a result of the attack, a 12-year-old girl sustained shrapnel injuries. She was taken to the hospital. A two-story residential building was damaged, and windows were shattered in nearby buildings. Firefighters quickly contained the fire.

Law enforcement officers, gas service specialists, and the rapid response team of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society also worked at the scene.

Residents of Zhytomyr whose homes were damaged by the Russian shelling on March 24 will receive financial assistance for repair and emergency restoration work, the city council reported. A commission is currently inspecting properties in the affected private sector.

Sumy oblast

The 15th Mobile Border Guard Detachment “Steel Border” reported that the russian army is intensifying its activity within Khotin and Yunakivka territorial communities. It is in these areas that russian forces most frequently attempt to conduct assault operations. The enemy actively uses artillery and strike drones; there has been a significant increase in the use of unmanned aviation, including Molniia UAVs and fibre-optic FPV drones. No large concentration of enemy forces opposite this section has been observed so far.

Serhii Pasko, Head of Mykolaivka community, informed that at around 12:30pm on 25 March, russian forces attacked the territory of Mykolaivka settlement community by a Heran-type drone. In Mykolaivka, a multi-storey residential building, private vehicles, outbuildings and a hospital building were damaged. No casualties were reported.

According to the State Emergency Service, on the morning of 25 March, russian forces struck a fire station building in Znob-Novhorodske community of Shostka region by UAVs. Approximately one hour later, a second strike targeted the same unit. As a result of the attack, the building sustained significant destruction and fire equipment located inside was destroyed. At the time of the strikes, rescuers were in shelter and no casualties were reported.

Volodymyr Lukash, Head of Stepanivka community, said that on 24 March, russian forces struck a civilian vehicle by a drone in Stepanivka community of Sumy region. The driver sustained shrapnel injuries.

The City Military Administration reported that a russian UAV struck the territory of a private household in Kovpakivskyi district of Sumy. The blast wave shattered windows in a residential house and a garage. No casualties were reported.

The National Police of Sumy oblast informed that fragments of a russian UAV were found in the central park of culture and recreation in Sumy. The debris was lodged in a tree. Explosive ordnance specialists examined and removed it.

According to the Regional Military Administration, as a result of russian shelling in Sumy oblast on 24 March, four civilians were injured:

  • In Esman community, a 62-year-old man was injured after a UAV struck a vehicle. A 60-year-old man also sought medical assistance after being injured in a drone strike on 23 March;
  • In Mykolaivka settlement community, a 26-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man were injured following a UAV strike on a police vehicle;
  • In Verkhnia Syrivatka community, a 47-year-old man was injured after a UAV struck a truck.

Between the morning of 24 March and the morning of 25 March, russian forces carried out more than 140 attacks on 43 settlements across 23 territorial communities of the oblast. The highest number of attacks was recorded in Sumy and Shostka regions. The enemy used mortars, artillery, multiple launch rocket systems, FPV drones, UAVs and guided aerial bombs. Over the past day, the air raid alert in the oblast lasted for 23 hours and 39 minutes.

Civilian infrastructure was damaged and destroyed:

  • In Esman community, private residential houses and outbuildings were destroyed, and civilian infrastructure facilities and a private passenger car were damaged;
  • In Seredyna-Buda community, a private residential house was destroyed and civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged;
  • In Shostka community, a residential house and non-residential premises were damaged;
  • In Znob-Novhorodske community, private residential houses, outbuildings and a vehicle were damaged;
  • In Hlukhiv community, private residential houses and outbuildings were damaged;
  • In Khutir-Mykhailivskyi community, civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged;
  • In Svesa community, civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged;
  • In Berezivka community, a private residential house, civilian infrastructure facilities and a non-residential building were damaged;
  • In Putyvl community, a private residential house was damaged;
  • In Velyka Pysarivka community, an outbuilding was destroyed and a private residential house was damaged;
  • In Duboviazivka community, civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged;
  • In Sumy community, private residential houses and an outbuilding were damaged;
  • In Verkhnia Syrivatka community, a truck was destroyed.

Over the past day, local authorities, together with units of the State Emergency Service, the National Police and public organisations, evacuated 189 people from border communities.

The City Military Administration reported that the city allocated UAH 1.575m. to compensate rent for residents of a building in Sumy damaged by russian shelling. During repair works, residents are required to temporarily leave their apartments. In the building at 68A Heroiv Krut Street, damaged by a russian Shahed strike on 30 January 2025, one entrance has been deemed unfit for habitation, while the remaining sections require structural reinforcement.

Chernihiv oblast

Viacheslav Chaus, Head of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, reported that during 24 March, Defence Forces shot down more than 200 russian UAVs in the skies over Chernihiv oblast. Some were also suppressed by electronic warfare systems. According to him, numerous drone fragments are being discovered across the oblast following the massive attack.

The City Council informed that on the morning of 25 March, russian UAVs attacked Chernihiv. Drone strikes were recorded at two locations within the city. As a result of one of the impacts, critical infrastructure was damaged.

According to JSC “Chernihivoblenergo”, on 25 March, russian forces attacked an energy facility in Chernihiv region. As a result, around 150,000 subscribers were left without electricity.

Mykola Kalashnyk, Head of Kyiv Regional Military Administration, said that on the morning of 25 March, approximately 21,000 residents of Slavutych were temporarily left without centralised electricity supply. The city is fully dependent on electricity.

JSC “Chernihivoblenergo” reported that during the night of 25 March, russian forces attacked an energy facility in Nizhyn region. As a result, around 62,000 subscribers in Nizhyn, Novhorod-Siverskyi and Pryluky regions were left without electricity.

Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, informed that during the day of 24 March, russian forces struck a village in Kyiinka community by a Heran-type drone. As a result, a fence and the facade of a house were damaged.

According to Chernihiv Border Guard Detachment, during 24 March, russian forces attacked four border communities of Chernihiv oblast: Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, Horodnia and Snovsk. The enemy carried out mortar shelling (3 explosions), launched strikes using Shahed-type UAVs (1 explosion), FPV drones (20 explosions), and dropped explosive devices from UAVs (7 explosions). Thirteen settlements were under enemy fire.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

Fifteen Shahed-type UAVs were shot down overnight in four regions of the oblast.

Nikopol region. In Nikopol, an 18-year-old girl was injured as a result of artillery shelling. Occupying forces struck by FPV drones and artillery, targeting the regional centre and the Chervonohryhorivka community. An outbuilding caught fire. Two five-storey buildings, two private houses, a bank, a hairdresser’s, shops, an administrative building, two outbuildings, an agricultural enterprise, two trucks and a power line were damaged.

Synelnykove region. The enemy struck Mezhove, Rozdory and Mykolaivka communities by UAVs. A fire broke out on the territory of an agricultural enterprise. Four private houses were damaged and a vehicle was destroyed.

Dnipro region. In Novooleksandrivka community, a fire broke out following a UAV attack. A 59-year-old man was injured and infrastructure was damaged.

Nikopol region. In Nikopol, a 58-year-old man was injured in a drone strike. The enemy continued to attack the region by drones and artillery, also targeting Chervonohryhorivka, Marhanets, Myrove and Pokrovske rural communities. Fires broke out. Three private houses, enterprises, a bathhouse and an outbuilding were damaged.

Kamianske region. In Verkhivtseve community, a 44-year-old man was injured as a result of a UAV attack. A fire broke out, and infrastructure and an outbuilding were damaged.

Kryvyi Rih region. Occupying forces struck Zelenodolsk and Hrushivka communities by UAVs and FPV drones. An apartment building and a private house, a shop, vehicles and infrastructure were damaged.

Vinnytsia oblast

The deaths of eleven defenders from Vinnytsia oblast have been confirmed: Anatolii Kushel, Roman Zaiets, Andrii Delikatnyi, Taras Kotsylovskyi, Yurii Shvets, Yehor Yaremko, Hennadii Shpak, Volodymyr Mykhailichenko, Oleksii Kuzin, Mykhailo Kovalchuk and Artem Shulha.

In Vinnytsia, 71 households were recorded as damaged following an enemy attack. A kindergarten No. 13 (windows shattered, walls damaged), Sadi Academic Music and Drama Theatre, and the summer theatre building in the park were also affected. Municipal services have been working since yesterday to eliminate the consequences of the attack. Damaged windows in 17 apartments of multi-storey buildings and in two private houses were promptly covered with film. Three commissions continue to operate in the city to assess damage. At present, 16 facilities remain to be inspected. As a result of the attack, 20 people were injured, seven of whom were hospitalised.

Kirovohrad oblast

Volodymyr Sokyrko, Head of Kropyvnytskyi community, reported that in Znamianka town, Kropyvnytskyi region, inspections of damage caused by a russian drone attack on 22 March have been completed. The municipal commission recorded 29 damaged buildings. Restoration works involve municipal services, rescuers and local businesses. The issue of additional financial assistance for owners of damaged property will be submitted to the April session.

In two communities of Kirovohrad oblast, residents paid tribute to fallen servicemen: Vitalii Donych from Velykoandrusivka community, and Vitalii Solod and Bohdan Vereskun from Oleksandriia. Vitalii Donych was killed on 12 March in Pavlohrad, Dnipropetrovsk oblast. Vitalii Solod was killed on 15 March in Kharkiv oblast as a result of an FPV drone strike. Bohdan Vereskun was killed on 17 May 2024 towards Pokrovsk in Donetsk oblast at the age of 51 and had since been considered missing.

In Kropyvnytskyi, an installation titled “Kalyna of Hope” was unveiled. It is dedicated to missing and captured defenders. The installation was placed opposite the Administrative Services Centre and initiated by the public organisation “Families in Defence of Soldiers of the 57th Brigade”. The installation resembles a metal-forged bush, two metres high. Ribbons with the names and call signs of missing or captured soldiers will be added, with the public able to contribute following its opening.

Poltava oblast

Enemy forces attacked Myrhorod territorial community by Heran-2 UAVs. As a result of the shelling, two women, born in 1944 and 1989, were injured. Residential houses, an educational institution, shops and freight wagons were also damaged.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

As reported by Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, yesterday, 24 March, the occupiers carried out 860 strikes on 45 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast. The russians struck Zaporizhzhia with 8 missiles. russian forces conducted 16 airstrikes on Barvinivka, Lisne, Rizdvianets, Svitla Dolyna, Odarivka, Novoukrainka, Orikhiv, Novoselivka, Svoboda, Kopani, Yehorivka, Shyroke, Vozdvyzhivka, and Preobrazhenka. 626 UAVs of various modifications (mostly FPV) attacked Zaporizhzhia, Vilniansk, Novomykolaivka, Balabyne, Bilenke, Chervonodniprovka, Yurkivka, Petrivske, Veselyi Hai, Novotroitske, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Lukianivske, Pavlivka, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Myrne, Huliaipilske, Zelene, Staroukrainka, Olenokostiantynivka, Varvarivka, Dobropillia, and Nove Zaporizhzhia. There weer three MLRS strikes on Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, and Tsvitkove. 207 artillery strikes targeted Chervonodniprovka, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Lukianivske, Pavlivka, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Myrne, Staroukrainka, Varvarivka, and Dobropillia. 311 reports were received about damage to infrastructure, educational institutions, residential buildings, vehicles, and outbuildings. Two people were killed, and thirteen others were injured as a result of enemy attacks on Zaporizhzhia city and Zaporizhzhia region.

The General Staff reported that as of 16:00 on 25 March, the russians made 12 attacks in the areas of Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Varvarivka, and Olenokostiantynivka towards Huliaipole. Three enemy assault actions are ongoing.The enemy is conducting an assault action near Prymorske towards Orikhiv. Over the past day, 24 March, the Defense Forces repelled 22 russian attacks towards Huliaipole.

On the night of 24 March, the Defense Forces struck a russian communications hub in the area of Fedorivka, Zaporizhzhia oblast. Strikes on such facilities significantly complicate the russians’ command and control and coordination of combat operations. The extent of the damage and russian losses is being clarified.

Mykolaiv oblast

Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration reported that yesterday, 24 March, the enemy attacked Ochakiv community six times using FPV drones. In addition, in the evening, the enemy carried out strikes on the community, preliminarily using MLRS. There were no casualties.

Odesa oblast

Odesa Regional Military Administration reported that on the evening of 24 March, an enemy drone destroyed a residential building, causing a large-scale fire. As a result of the strike, an 87-year-old woman was killed. Another woman, aged 59, was injured. Doctors assess her condition as moderate. Six more nearby private houses were also damaged.

Kherson oblast

Kherson Regional Military Administration reported that a resident of Bilozerka required medical assistance after being injured around 08:30 as a result of russian shelling. The 72-year-old man sustained blast injuries, a concussion, and an acute stress reaction.

At around 07:40, Russian troops shelled Bilozerka. A 43-year-old man sustained blast injuries and multiple shrapnel wounds.

At approximately 06:30, russian forces shelled Korabelnyi district of Kherson. As a result of the attack, an 84-year-old woman who was in her apartment sustained a concussion and blast injuries. Another woman also suffered blast injuries and a concussion.

A girl who came under russian shelling on 19 March in the Korabelnyi district of Kherson also sought medical help. The 18-year-old resident was diagnosed with blast injuries, a concussion, and an acute stress reaction.

According to Kherson Regional Military Administration, yesterday, 24 March, the russian forces attacked Beryslav, Bilozerka, Zelenivka, Inhulets, Fedorivka, Urozhaine, Mykilske, Zolota Balka, Romashkove, Dniprovske, Veletenke, Kizomys, Tomyna Balka, Novodmytrivka, Vesele, Inhulivka, Kachkarivka, Komyshany, Kucherske, Lvove, Mala Oleksandrivka, Mykhailivka, Mylove, Nova Kamianka, Novokairy, Novooleksandrivka, Novotiahynka, Odradokamianka, Oleksandrivka, Olhivka, Petropavlivka, Prydniprovske, Pryozerne, Respublikaneць, Sadove, Stanislav, Stepanivka, Tavriiske, Tomaryne, Trudoliubivka, Tiahynka, Ukrainka, Shyroka Balka, and the city of Kherson. As a result of the attacks, a multi-storey building, 36 private houses, an administrative building, outbuildings, a warehouse, and a private car were damaged. One person was killed, and eight others were injured due to russian aggression.

The General Staff reported that as of 16:00 on 25 March, the occupiers attempted to attack in the area of the Antonivskyi Bridge towards Kherson.

Volyn oblast

The RMA held an operational meeting to discuss the pilot implementation of a CRM system for supporting war veterans and demobilized persons. This is a digital tool of the Ministry of Veterans, which will allow for centralized registration of applications, management of cases, coordination of the work of specialists and formation of analytics at all levels. Volyn oblast is among 5 oblasts participating in the pilot.

Zakarpattia oblast

The RMA held a meeting with Farkhad Farkhadov, Deputy Minister for Veterans Affairs. They discussed the implementation of the Heroes Policy in the country in general and in the oblast.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

As a result of the attack by an enemy UAV, which occurred at about 5:00 p.m. on 24 March in the center of Ivano-Frankivsk, 2 people were killed – a father and a 15-year-old daughter. They came to visit their wife in the maternity ward, who had just given birth to a son a few days ago. 4 more people were injured, including a child. All are in moderate condition and are receiving the necessary medical care.

Lviv oblast

Updated information on the consequences of the enemy attack on Lviv on 24 March.

Of the 27 people who sought help from city hospitals yesterday, 7 remain in hospitals.

Halytskyi region. A house on Sobornaia Square, 3 was damaged – it is an architectural monument of national importance. 17 apartments were damaged. On Bandera Street, 4 houses were damaged – 23 windows were broken. 6 apartments need to be evacuated. 4 families have already been temporarily accommodated in a hotel.

Sykhiv region. 19 apartment buildings were damaged. Over 1,300 windows were broken. The house on Chervonoy Kalyna Avenue, 103, suffered the most damage – 2 hits. These are 4 entrances, 136 apartments, over 350 residents. The house currently has no gas or electricity.

Transport. Municipal transport was damaged: 30 windows were broken, 2 front windows, 5 hatches were torn out. Preliminary damage is about UAH 650,000. The condition of the electronics is still being investigated.

Rivne oblast

The forum on strengthening the capabilities of regional veteran policies was held in the oblast. Among the guests were representatives of the veteran community and specialized departments from 11 oblasts. The goal of the forum is to exchange positive experience with the prospect of scaling it up.

Ternopil oblast

The owners of 12 apartments whose homes were completely burned down as a result of a rocket attack on 19 November, 2025, received UAH 150,000 in additional financial assistance from Ternopil City Council. This is separate assistance from the city, in addition to payments under the eRecovery program. Previously, the owners of these 12 apartments had already received UAH 50,000 each for cleaning and disinfecting their homes. And they will be able to use this additional UAH 150,000 at their own discretion.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

Khmelnytskyi City Council reported that since the beginning of the year, the community has already purchased about 200 Autel 4H quadcopters and similar quadcopters for the military.

Chernivtsi oblast

Chernivtsi sent 2 buses to the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade Kholodnyi Yar.

Since the start of the full-scale invasion, international partners have transferred hundreds of heavy weapons to Ukraine.
