Global impact of russian aggression

Researchers from the University of East Anglia found that eagles whose migration routes pass through Ukraine changed them to avoid the war zone, The Guardian reported. GPS data showed that the large falcon not only flew around the territory of Ukraine after the invasion began, but also shortened rest stops or avoided them altogether. Of the 90% of eagles that stopped in Ukraine before the start of the full-scale invasion, only 32% did so after, and some places the birds avoided altogether. The situation can delay the breeding of the birds, as the eagles may need more time to recover, affecting their chances of survival.
