War in Ukraine today: latest news, 13 July, 2024 (photo)

It has been the 871st day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm:   

The defense forces of Ukraine continue to actively oppose the russian aggressor, causing him significant losses in manpower and equipment.

On 13 June, there were 109 combat clashes. 

Border settlements of Sumy and Chernihiv oblasts continued to suffer from cynical artillery shelling from the territory of the russian hederation. The villages of Khodyne, Karpovychi, Hrabovske, Zapsillia, Hirsk and Mohrytsia were damaged by artillery fire and RSZV.

At the same time, under constant bombardment of enemy aircraft is Kharkiv oblast. From the russian cities of Belgorod and Shebekino, terrorists carried out eight airstrikes using 18 KABs, targeting Ukrainian settlements of Lyptsi, Vovchansk, Starytsia and Mali Prokhody.

In addition, towards Kharkiv, the russian occupiers attacked 13 times the defensive boundaries of Ukrainian units near Vovchansk and Hlyboke. 10 attacks were repelled, three more – continue.

Towards Kupiansk, the russian army carried out 11 assault actions near Synkivka, Vilshana, Petropavlivka, Novoselivka, Berestove and Stelmahivka. Four fights are over, seven are ongoing. The greatest concentration of enemy efforts is observed in the vicinity of Berestove.

Towards Lyman, the invading army attacked 15 times Ukrainian positions in the vicinity of Makiivka, Hrekovka and Terny. Ukrainian defenders repelled 10 attacks, five more – continue.

Towards Siversk, the defense forces repelled four enemy attacks near Bilohorivka and Verkhnokamianske. Three more clashes continue in the areas of Rozdolivka and Spirne.

Towards Kramatorsk, the invaders carried out assault actions six times near Chasiv Yar, Hryhorivka, Andriivka and Klyshchiivka. Three battles are over, three more are under way.

Towards Toretsk, the russian army attacked seven times near Pivnichne, Toretsk and Niu-York. Six fights ended without success for the russians, another fight continue.

Towards Pokrovsk, the occupiers carried out the largest number of attempts to push Ukrainian defenders from occupied positions in the vicinity of the settlements of Vozdvizhenka, Kalynove, Prohres, Novoselivka Persha, Lozuvatske, Novooleksandrivka and Yasnobrodivka. The defense forces restrained the enemy’s onslaught and repelled 17 attacks, seven combat clashes – still ongoing. The enemy’s losses are specified.

Towards Kurakhove, the russian army attacked nine times near Krasnohorivka, Kostiantynivka and Pobieda. Seven fights are over, two continue.

The russian occupiers significantly intensified towards Vreminka. They tried to break through the Ukrainian defenses near Urozhaine, Makariv, Konstiantynivka and Velika Novosilka. Ukrainian defenders repelled 16 russian assaults, another enemy attack continues in the vicinity of Vodiane. 

It should be noted that in other directions the situation has not undergone significant changes.


Captain Andrii Yusov, representative of the Ukrainian intelligence, says that there are currently no additional threats to Ukraine from belarus. In particular, we are talking about really planned training. 

Volodymyr Tymoshenko, Chief of Police of Kharkiv oblast, reports that  3 children were evacuated from Vovchanska in Kharkiv oblast. hey are a girl of 4.5 years and a boy of 14 and 15 years.

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Kharkiv oblast

Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the Regional Military Administration, reports that the occupiers hit the village of Budy in Kharkiv oblast. A 24-year-old man received a shrapnel wound. The enemy struck again, it fell on the railway

A total of 22 people were injured – 16 men and 6 women aged 14 to 81. Two people are in serious condition, 13 are in moderate condition, the others are in light condition. Five railway workers were injured: a train driver, a station manager, a station attendant, a senior track foreman and a train assembler. Other railway workers with shrapnel wounds and contusions were hospitalized, and two more received medical assistance on the spot. 

Two people were killed. Among them is Artem Kostyria, Head of Kharkiv Regional Department of the State Emergency Service.

An ambulance that arrived at the call was also damaged.

In Kupiansk-Uzlovyi as a result of the russian shelling on July 13, there was a fire in the premises of Nova Poshta, people were not injured. The regional administration says that in the village a 39-year-old woman suffered cuts from glass during the shelling, she was given medical care on the spot.

Andrii Besedin, Head of Kupiansk city military administration, reports that 70 FPV drones for almost a million hryvnias were handed over to the mother of the deceased military for the defenders of Kharkiv oblast. He notes that the woman lost her son in the spring of 2023 in towards Bakhmut Money for drones is part of the funds received from the state as compensation for a fallen soldier.

In Kharkiv oblast, 32 enemy CABs were launched. 

At 00:15am, the village of Zavadske, Bohodukhiv region, was shelled. During enemy shelling damaged a private house, garage, farm building, windows.

At 5:30pm the village of Novoosinove, Kupiansky region was affected. There was enemy shelling, as a result of which five private houses, three farm buildings were damaged.

At  3:00pm Vovchansk city, Chuhuiv region, was shelled. As a result of mortar fire, a 68-year-old woman was injured.

Also at 3:00pm in the village of Borshchov, Kharkiv region, there was enemy mortar shelling of the settlement, as a result of which one private house was damaged.

At 11:30am, the occupiers struck two drones at the village of Odorobivka Bohodukhiv region. The strikes occurred during the provision of pensions to the population by employees of the mobile post office Ukrposhta. One car was damaged, another was damaged.

At 10:00am, village Slobozhanske, Lyptsi community,  was affected. As a result of the shelling of KAB, 13 private houses were destroyed.

At 08:00am, in Staryitsa village, Vovchansk community, Chuhuiv region,  during the evacuation a group of civilians was blown up. In total, 6 people were affected: three men 30,48,52 years old were diagnosed with an acute stress reaction; two men, aged 18, 63, and a 43-year-old woman were seriously injured. All the victims are hospitalized.

Towards Kharkiv, the enemy continued offensive operations. There were 13 combat clashes in the areas of Hlyboke, Starytsia, Lyptsi and Vovchansk.

Towards Kupiansk, the number of attacks per day was 11. The defense forces repelled all the assault actions of the enemy near Synkivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Pishchiane and Berestove.

Donetsk oblast

 The General Staff said that the Armed Forces repelled 122 russian assaults on Donetsk and Luhansk on July 12. Most attacks were towards Pokrovsk. The russian federation also carried out air strikes on Serebrianka forest and 12 settlements.

Vadim Liakh, Head of Sloviansk RMA, says that the russian army attacked Sloviansk with drones at night. There are no deaths or injuries.

Yurii Tretyak, acting head of the CMA, says that four wounded are in hospital as a result of the shelling of Myrnohrad on July 12, four more people, including a teenager, are being treated on an outpatient basis. A total of four people were killed as a result of yesterday’s shelling, nine were injured. russian forces struck twice in two different locations. One is near the city center, the other is a public transport stop.

Ivan Vyhovskyi, Head of the National Police, says that in Donetsk oblast, on July 12, 38-year-old police captain Dmytro Petrenko was killed as a result of the hit of a russian drone in a service vehicle. The law enforcement officer suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

According to DTEK, power plants in Donetsk oblast came under fire for the fourth time in a month, one worker was injured on July 12. He was taken to hospital, a building of the power company was damaged.

Operational situation in the region as of the morning of 13 July:

Pokrovsky region. In Kurakhove community, the invaders damaged a house in Ostrovske and an administrative building in Hostre. In Selidove, 3 double-storey buildings and a power line were damaged. In Myrnohrad, 4 people were killed and 9 wounded.

Kramatorsk region. In Lyman, 7 people were injured, 11 houses and 4 cars damaged. The house was damaged in Sloviansk. In Mykolaivka, the administrative building and infrastructure facility were damaged. In Kostiantynivka 2 people were killed and 3 injured, industrial buildings damaged. In Zaria of Illinivka community, 2 objects were damaged.

Bakhmut region. In Toretske, the administrative building and infrastructure facility were damaged. In Chasiv Yar community, 1 person was injured, 11 private houses, a multi-storey and an industrial building were damaged.  3 private houses were destroyed in Siversk.

In total, the russians shelled the settlements of Donetsk oblast 24 times. 232 people were evacuated from the front line, including 52 children.

Vadim Filashkin, head of the Donetsk regional police, informs that the russians killed 6 residents of Donetsk oblast: 4 in Myrnohrad and 2 in Kostiantynivka. Another 22 people in the region were wounded.

Luhansk oblast

Nevske was hit from cannon artillery. The occupiers also used drones. The shell hit a previously damaged private house. Now the house is destroyed. The neighboring front line of Makiivka was shelled by the invaders with rocket artillery and drones.

The fighting took place near Nevske, Makiivka, in Serebrianka forest and in Bilohorivka.

Centralized water supply in Sievierodonetsk has been restored in some neighborhoods and houses. The water quality is close to technical. But now it became problematic to get it, because the occupiers decided to significantly reduce the pressure at the exit from the water pumping station. To the upper floors, the water simply does not rise. They accused the residents of non-payment for utilities. 

Industry has not been restored, new jobs are not being opened – many have nothing to pay.

In the captured 10 years ago Lutuhyne,  an industrial enterprise was cut into a metal scrap. Previously, this enterprise had a good profit and constantly expanded sales markets. Everything changed in 2014, when production stopped.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

The Ministry of Energy reported that the IAEA has condemned the military strike on the Okhmatdyt children’s hospital in Kyiv, blaming russia for it. The organization approved the resolution at an emergency closed meeting held on 12 July at the request of Ukraine. 

The meeting also supported further assistance to Okhmatdyt and other similar institutions for the continuous provision of medical services and strengthening of radiation safety and protection measures.

Kyiv Regional Military Administration informed that blasting operations will be carried out in Bucha region. Specialists from the State Emergency Service will work in oblast. The sounds of explosions can be heard by residents of the region and the outskirts of the capital. The administration urges citizens to remain calm.

Ruslan Kravchenko, head of Kyiv Regional State Administration announced that in Kyiv oblast, 90 schools and kindergartens are being equipped with shelters to ensure the safety of children. Shelters are being built in 22 schools and kindergartens, repairs are underway in 67, and modular shelters are planned to be installed in 4 educational institutions. This will increase the number of places in shelters by more than 16,000.

The newly built shelter was opened at Lyceum No. 1 in Brovary, where more than 750 children study. The school now has its own modern and comfortable dual-purpose shelter with two exits, sanitary facilities and a medical unit. It has all the conditions for unimpeded access for people with disabilities and people with limited mobility.

The Memorandum of Mutual Understanding between Kyiv Regional Military Administration and the State of Utah was signed by Ukraine’s Ambassador to the United States Oksana Markarova with Utah Governor Spencer Cox in the presence of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

On 11 July, a documentary by Radio Liberty about the deportation of Ukrainian prisoners was presented in Kyiv. The film “Bring Me Home” tells the story of the illegal transfer of convicts from the occupied territories of Ukraine to russia in the autumn of 2022, and how Ukrainians are trying to return home through Georgia after serving their sentences in russian prisons. The film’s presentation was attended by one of the film’s protagonists, who managed to return to his native Kyiv after a long wait at the border. 

Zhytomyr oblast

A specially created working group on the decolonisation of place names has started its work in the Zhytomyr oblast. By 19 July, it will process information from communities and submit proposals for renaming place names.

In one of the residential buildings in the centre of Zhytomyr, the basement was renovated and is currently being used as a shelter. A recreation room was set up, a toilet was built, water heating equipment was installed, and the Internet was installed. The money for this was allocated from the city community budget.

Sumy oblast

The regional State Emergency Service reported that rescuers extinguished a large-scale fire in a residential area in the border village of Shostka district caused by enemy shelling. They managed to save three outbuildings located near the epicentre of the fire.

Sumy Regional Military Administration reported that at night and in the morning of 13 July, russians fired twice at the border areas and settlements of Sumy oblast. Two explosions were recorded.The enemy dropped an explosive device from a UAV on the territory of Bilopillia community, and struck Esman community with an FPV drone.

On 12 July, the russian military fired 16 times in Sumy oblast. There were 57 explosions. Seven border communities were shelled.

Krasnopillia community: explosive devices were dropped from a UAV (4 explosions), mortar shelling (2 explosions).

The enemy fired at Znob-Novhorodske community from artillery (3 explosions).

Enemy FPV drones attacked Myropillia and Esman communities (3 explosions).

Artillery shelling (15 explosions), mortar attacks (7 explosions) and the launch of 10 NAR missiles from an enemy helicopter were recorded in Velyka Pysarivka community.

Seredyna-Buda community: hostile FPV drones attacked (3 explosions). Also, explosive devices were dropped from a UAV (6 explosions) and artillery fire (1 explosion).

The russian military dropped 3 mines on the territory of Bilopillia community.

The regional police reported that on 12 July, the russian military struck 16 settlements in Sumy oblast. As a result of the shelling, 5 residential buildings were damaged, and the premises of an outpatient clinic and an educational institution were damaged. Law enforcement officers are documenting the consequences of the shelling.

On 12 July, at 01:48 a.m., in one of the villages in Shostka region, the SES extinguished a fire in a civilian house that had been hit by an enemy shell. In the morning, in the same settlement, rescuers also extinguished fires in residential buildings resulting from hostile attacks.

In addition, the regional SES reported that firefighters extinguished fires in two social facilities that arose as a result of strikes from the territory of russia.

In Okhtyrka, the Assorti children’s theatre presented an open-air performance of Ivasyk-Telesyk to their peers. Internally displaced people and those with hearing impairments were invited to the premiere. The Red Cross Society prepared an improvised stage at its office. 

Chernihiv oblast

On 13 July, russian troops attacked three border communities in Chernihiv oblast with mortars and cannon artillery. There were 21 explosions.

Novhorod-Siverskyi community: 4 mortar attacks towards Buchky and Kamianska Sloboda;

Semenivka community: 10 mortar and cannon artillery attacks towards Prohres and Leonovka;

Snovsk community: 7 mortar attacks on the settlement of Yeline.

The Department of Social Protection of the Population of Chernihiv Oblast State Administration reported that in Chernihiv oblast, resilience centres operate in six communities. They are located in Koriukivka, Horodnia, Korop, Nizhyn, Mykhailo-Kotsiubynske and Chernihiv communities. The latter four also have social adaptation spaces providing services to people with disabilities and the elderly.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

Mykola Lukashuk, Head of the oblast Council, reports that in the evening and at night the enemy attacked Nikopol. The regional center and Marhanets community were under attack. They fired artillery and launched a kamikaze drone. In Nikopol, a  private settlement, a farm building were damaged, infrastructure affected.

The enemy is once again terrorizing the civilians of Nikopol. A 51-year-old man was injured in the district center. He was hospitalized in a moderate condition. Two other men, aged 31 and 56, were injured in the attack. One of the emergency workers was also injured. The occupiers attacked the rescuers with kamikaze drones while extinguishing the fire. A fire engine was also damaged. The invaders damaged industrial and communal enterprises, a religious institution, an agricultural company, a lyceum, several multi-storey buildings, 10 private houses, trucks and cars, farm buildings and power lines.

Vinnytsia oblast

​​In the village of Brodetske, Khmilnytskyi district in Vinnytsia,  the Square of Angels – a recreational space dedicated to the memory of the killed countrymen – was opened. There is a playground, a photo zone, and a place of remembrance and prayer for fallen soldiers.

Kirovohrad oblast

In Kropyvnytskyi, residents paid tribute to the 20-year-old operator of the aerobic platoon Volodymyr Chyzh, who was killed in the russian-Ukrainian war.  He went to war voluntarily, then he was 19 years old.

Cherkasy oblast

Ihor Taburets, Head of Cherkasy RMA, says that Cherkasy oblast handed over assistance to the 118th Brigade of Terror Defense. In particular, “mavericks” of various modifications, 3 REB-stations – for effective combat against enemy targets and 10 assault rifles and accessories to them to develop the necessary skills of the fighters.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

On 12 July, the occupiers launched 272 attacks on 10 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast. This included an airstrike on Robotyne. Also, 108 enemy UAVs of various modifications attacked Huliaipole, Bilenke, Mala Tokmachka, Levadne, Robotyne, Malynivka and Novoandriivka.

There were 6 MRLS on Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne and 157 artillery strikes on Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Prymorske, Stepnohirsk, Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriivka, Levadne, Robotyne and Malynivka.

11 reports of damage to residential buildings and infrastructure were received. No civilians were injured.

For the 3rd consecutive day, a forest fire has been burning in the temporarily occupied Enerhodar. According to RIA-Melitopol, the russians are taking minimal action to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading, said Enerhodar Mayor Dmytro Orlov. The fire has approached the residential area.

The occupiers, who have been controlling the occupied Melitopol region for almost 2.5 years, continue to operate under a well-established scheme: first, they steal Ukrainian property, then try to legalise the theft. They have seized both small cherry orchards and large enterprises whose owners were forced to leave the occupied territories. Recently, it was reported that the “Federal Service for Intellectual Property” (Rospatent) issued the 1st certificate of exclusive rights to a regional brand in the newly annexed regions of the russian federation.

Mykolaiv oblast

On 11 July, Martin Harris, British Ambassador to Ukraine,  and Vahur Soosaar, Deputy Head of the Estonian Diplomatic Mission to Ukraine, visited Mykolaiv. The visit was part of the Partnership for Strong Ukraine fund, which provides assistance to Mykolaiv oblast, including the city itself. During the working trip, a meeting was held with Vitalii Kim, Head of Mykolaiv RMA, and Mayor of Mykolaiv, Oleksandr Syenkevych. The participants discussed strategies to empower communities in the oblast, focusing on the challenges faced by Mykolaiv. Martin Harris noted that special attention would be given to communities closest to the frontline, which suffer the most from the fighting.

The theme of the training sessions conducted by specialists from the Training and Consultation Center for Mental Health “KaZhY” (Say) with officers-psychologists from the 123rd Territorial Defence Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was Military Psychology, Providing Assistance to Military Personnel, Veterans and Their Families. Techniques for Stabilising Military Personnel and Veterans. Officers studied the peculiarities of a psychologist’s work in a military unit, improved their understanding of post-traumatic stress disorder, minimized combat stress and learned about changes in human consciousness. The training also focused on providing first psychological aid on the battlefield and on stabilization and recovery.

Odesa oblast

According to the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, the 27th recruitment center for the Ukrainian army has opened in Odesa, where citizens can receive consultations and information about units and positions, as well as the conditions of service.

Kherson oblast

The russian forces continued to attack residential areas of Kherson. This time, rescue workers were targeted. In the coastal area of Kherson’s Korabelnyi district, russian artillery hit a team from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine working there. As a result of the strike, special equipment was damaged and a 22-year-old rescuer sustained shrapnel wounds to his back and arm. The dormitory building also was damaged.

On the night of 13 July, the russian military again attacked Kherson City Territorial Community from the temporarily occupied left bank. As a result of enemy shelling, a 61-year-old resident of the city sustained a mine-explosive injury and a concussion.

Beryslav, Mylove, Novooleksandrivka and Tiahynka territorial communities were under enemy fire. These included Beryslav, Mylove, Havrylivka, Mykhailivka, Lvove, Odradokamianka, Vysoke and Tiahynka. The enemy struck by guided aerial bombs on Vysoke and Lvove.

Residential buildings and farm structures in Lvove and Vysoke and a school building in Vysoke were damaged. Artillery shelled Havrylivka, Odradokamianka, Lvove and Tiahynka. Also, the occupiers used UAVs to attack Beryslav, Mykhailivka, Mylove and Lvove.

As a result of a UAV strike on an apartment building in Beryslav, a fire broke out. Another fire occurred in Kamianska Sich National Park. Due to a UAV strike in Beryslav, a 94-year-old woman was killed.

In Pryozerne village in Kherson oblast, a 50-year-old woman sustained injuries incompatible with life due to a russian strike.

According to Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office, in the past 6 months, 132 children have been injured and 40 killed in Kherson oblast due to russian armed aggression. In total, during the first half of 2024, 800 criminal cases related to crimes committed against children and in the field of child protection have been investigated under the procedural guidance of Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

In the temporarily occupied Kherson oblast, the Southern Defence Forces sank a russian boat with a drone. Earlier, it was reported that operators of the 73rd Naval Special Operations Centre destroyed 15 russian military boats in the temporarily occupied Kherson oblast.

From 1 January to 7 July, 2023, in the de-occupied territory of Kherson oblast, 5 people were injured and 1 person killed during fieldwork due to the detonation of explosive devices. In 2023 and part of 2022, the number of injured farmers was 32, with 13 fatalities. Over 50 units of agricultural equipment were damaged due to explosions. However, these numbers could be much higher as some farmers might not have sought medical help.

Volyn oblast

Lutsk City Council reported that the Military Unit 9971 received 2 DJI Mavic 3 Pro quadcopters.

Zakarpattia oblast

This year, Zakarpattia oblast will receive almost UAH 70m in housing subsidies for veterans and their family members. Thanks to such support from the state, in accordance with the Government’s decision, families of defenders will receive 31 apartments.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

The State Border Service has closed over 20 tourist routes in the oblast. From now on, it is forbidden to stay closer than 5 km to the state border without the appropriate permission, in particular for the purpose of tourism, recreation or fishing. Restrictions do not apply to persons living in this area. It is also forbidden to stop in the border zone for over 20 min without valid reasons and to drive on roads that are not in the register of highways.

Lviv oblast

The RMA held a meeting with Vasyl Perts, Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Detroit. They discussed cooperation in the cultural and medical fields.

In Lviv oblast, an open inclusive training in bullet shooting was held for soldiers undergoing rehabilitation. The event took place on the basis of the shooting range of the sports complex of Olympic training Dynamo. The training was conducted within the framework of the youth and sports management project of Lviv RMA League of the Invincibles, which organizes free inclusive training for Ukrainian veterans.

Lviv Regional Perinatal Center donated UAH 100,000 to support the Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital, which was damaged by a rocket attack. All funds were directed to the Okhmatdyt Healthy Childhood CF.

The Department of Security and Street Infrastructure of Lviv City Council reported that in the city, a mechanism is being developed that will allow the evacuation of all abandoned cars from the public space of the city. And also to bring unscrupulous car owners to justice.

Defenders of the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigades named after King Danylo conquered the highest peak of Lviv oblast within the project Hiking Therapy. Only 50 people took part in the ascent of the mountain, included, military personnel and members of their families. Together they managed to conquer the highest peak in Lviv oblast – Pikuy, the height of which is 1,408m above sea level.

Rivne oblast

Dmytro Lubinets, Ombudsman of Ukraine, reported that the concept of support for victims of armed aggression against Ukraine was presented in Rivne oblast. It contains specific steps and recommendations to resolve this issue.

Ternopil oblast

The RMA reported that soldiers of the 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade received 3 Mavic drones, thanks to the funds of the regional budget.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

Khmelnytskyi City Council reported that the community sent over 3,800 FPV drones, 310 quadcopters of the more expensive segment with thermal imagers, quadcopters and hexacopters of local production that work with resets, 70 electronic devices, electronic devices and mobile communications to the military

Chernivtsi oblast

The RMA held a meeting of the working group Transparency and Accountability. They discussed the issue of preventing misuse of budget funds, the priority of financing military needs and directing funds to events commemorating the soldiers who died defending the Motherland.

The RMA reported that Krasnoilsk community allocated UAH 50,000 to purchase fuel and lubricants to border guards from the Military Unit A2195.

Christopher Lacson, Prime Minister of New Zealand, announced that the country allocated $9.8m in aid to Ukraine. $3.68m will go to the military ($2.45m for the Drone Coalition led by Great Britain and Latvia and $1.23m for Ukraine’s military medical needs), and $6.12m will go to humanitarian aid.

Italy will increase the aid to Ukraine to €1.7bn. These funds will be part of the €40bn NATO aid that the Alliance promises to Kyiv.

Richard Marles, Minister of Defense of Australia, announced that the country plans to provide another $250m in military support to Ukraine.

Petr Fiala, Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, reported that during this year, the country will send 500,000 artillery shells to Ukraine. In June, 50,000 shells arrived. A batch of the same volume should arrive in July-August. From September, the volume should increase to 80,000-100,000 shells per month.

Norway will provide Ukraine with spare parts for Sea King helicopters. Sea King helicopters were previously sent to Ukraine by Germany and Great Britain (6 and 3, respectively) and are an important element of maritime defense. The spare parts provided by Norway will ensure the uninterrupted operation of these helicopters and increase their efficiency, providing Ukraine with additional opportunities to control and protect the maritime space.

Luis Alfonso Petri, Head of the Argentine Ministry of Defense, announced that Argentina decided to apply to join NATO, buy F-16 fighter jets instead of Chinese machines and help Ukraine by sending it the weapons it needs to wage war with russia.

Switzerland joined the 14th package of EU sanctions against the russian federation. They are directed against businessmen, propagandists, representatives of the armed forces and the judicial system, persons responsible for the deportation of Ukrainian children, and employees of the FSB. In total, over 2,200 individuals and legal entities were included in the sanctions lists.

Donald Tusk, Prime Minister of Poland, announced that the country is ready to supply Ukraine with electricity from its TPPs if it does not pay for emissions.
