The situation in the areas of combat operations and on the front line is tense and difficult, but the Ukrainian Defence Forces are doing everything possible to prevent the execution of the enemy’s plans and the destruction of its personnel and equipment.
On 12 July, there were 94 combat clashes.
The border areas of Sumy and Chernihiv oblasts are under systematic fire of artillery and RAF of the enemy. Settlements on the border such as Buchki, Leonivka, Yeline, Pozhnia, Sredyna-Buda, Popivka, Iskryskivshchyna, Velika Pysarivka, Myropilske suffered from terrorist attacks of the enemy . The occupiers shelled Oleksandrivka, Chernihiv oblast with unguided air missiles. The enemy conducted sabotage and reconnaissance activities.
At the same time, under constant fire from enemy aircraft is Kharkiv oblast. Terrorists carried out six strikes, in particular, dropped 12 KABs in the vicinity of Starytsia, Lyptsi, Mali Prokhody, and Vovchansk.
Towards Kharkiv, the russian occupiers tried eight times to storm the defensive boundaries of the Ukrainian army in the vicinity of Hlyboke, Vovchansk and Starytsia. There is an ongoing battle near Starytsia. The situation remains under the control of Ukrainian troops.
Towards Kupiansk, the enemy four times approached the positions of Ukrainian units in the vicinity of Stepova Novoselivka, Pishchene, and Berestove, and used KABs in Kupiansk. Two battles are still ongoing. Ukrainian soldiers continue to hold the defense.
Towards Lyman, the russian army, with the support of the aircraft, carried out ten attacks on the positions of the Ukrainians near Makiivka, Nevske, Torske and Terny. Four battles ended without success for the enemy, another six – continue.
The enemy is active towards Pivnichne. Near the settlements of Rozdolivka and Vyimka Ukrainian defenders repelled three attacks by the enemy. The situation is under control.
Towards Kramatorsk, the occupiers carried out nine assaults on the positions of UKrainian troops near Chasiv Yar, Andriivka and Ivanivske. Two attacks are still ongoing. The enemy carried out airstrikes by assault aircraft on Chasiv Yar.
Towards Toretsk, the number of enemy attacks increased to 12. The enemy is focused on Pivnichne, Zalizne and Niu-York. Ukrainian soldiers repelled nine enemy attacks, and three more fighting clashes continue.
Towards Pokrovsk, the largest number of clashes occurred. The occupiers made 29 attempts to push Ukrainian defenders from their positions in the vicinity of Oleksandropol, Vozdvizhenka, Kalinove, Sokil, Prohres, Lozuvatske, Novoolexandrivka, Karlivka and Yasnobrodivka. The defense forces are holding back the onslaught and repelled 20 enemy attacks, nine battles are still ongoing. The enemy’s losses are specified.
Fighting continues near Krasnohorivka, Paraskoviivka and Kostiantynivka towards Kurakhove. According to the updated information, 13 attacks were repelled in this area.
Towards Vremivka, Ukrainian soldiers repelled one enemy attack near Vodiane, two more attacks continue near Urozhaine.
Towards Orikhiv, units of Ukrainian troops repelled three enemy assaults. Here the occupiers failed in the area of Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy says that Ukraine has signed 23 security agreements that take relations between the countries to another level. He also said there would be other agreements with other countries.
The Ministry of Defense reports that approximately 90,000-100,000 citizens daily update data in the Reserve+ application. In total, 2.7 million military personnel have been updated.
Recent war events in the east of Ukraine
Kharkiv oblast
According to the General Staff, as of 4pm, russia launched six strikes in Kharkiv oblast and dropped 12 UAVs. The russians targeted Starytsia, Lyptsi, Mali Prokhody, and Vovchansk.
Towards Kharkiv, the russian army conducted eight assaults in the areas of Hlyboke, Vovchansk and Starytsia. A clash is ongoing near Starytsia. Ukrainian troops control the situation.
Towards Kupiansk, russians advanced four times on the positions of the Ukrainian Defence Forces near Stepova Novoselivka, Pishchane, Berestove and Novoselivka, and used multiple rocket launchers in Kupiansk. Two clashes are ongoing. Ukrainian soldiers continue to hold the line.
Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported russians fired mortar shells at Vovchansk in the afternoon. A 68-year-old woman was injured and hospitalised.
According to the RMA, the occupiers attacked the village of Odnorobivka with two drones at 11:30am.
The strikes were carried out while employees of the Ukrposhta mobile post office were providing pensions to the population. One car was destroyed and another damaged.
On 11 July, at 5:38pm, russians attacked Bilyi Kolodiaz settlement, Vovchansk community, Chuhuiv region. Two apartment buildings and outbuildings burned. 9 people were injured: men aged 22, 38, 43, 44, 45, 64 and women aged 47, 63, 68. Two men and one woman were killed.
At 4:02pm, russians attacked Borova village, Borova community, Izium region, damaging a private household. A garage and 3 cars burned down as a result of the shelling by FAB-1500. A private house was destroyed; 12 private houses were damaged. Four people were injured as a result of the air strike: two men aged 52 and 69, and two women aged 30 and 70. All the victims suffered from acute stress reactions.
At 11:20am, russians attacked Slatyne village, Derhachi community, Kharkiv region. Three private houses were damaged as a result of shelling from multiple rocket launchers.
At 10:20am, russians attacked Bilyi Kolodiaz village, Vovchansk community, Chuhuiv region. As a result of the shelling with anti-aircraft guns, windows, doors and roofs of private houses were damaged.
At 10:05am, russians attacked the village of a garden association in Ruski Tyshky, Tsyrkuny community, Kharkiv region. As a result of the shelling with UMPD D-30, a house burned down.
Towards Kharkiv, the enemy continued active operations. A total of six hostile attacks took place in the vicinity of Vovchansk and Hlyboke. The occupants used aviation for support.
Towards Kupiansk, the number of combat engagements totalled seven over the last day. The defence forces repelled attacks in the vicinity of Synkivka, Vilshana in Kharkiv region and Berestove in Donetsk region.
The village of Sulyhivka is located 20 kilometres from Izium in Kharkiv oblast. The invaders occupied the village in April 2022. For almost six months, the front line ran alongside Sulyhivka. In September, it was liberated by the Ukrainian defence forces. In the spring and autumn of 2022, the russian military bombed Sulyhivka from aircraft, so there are no intact buildings in the village left.
The government has allocated another UAH 1.9bn to restore heat supply in Kharkiv.
Donetsk oblast
At 4am, russian troops attacked Leonidivka with artillery, wounding a civilian.
The shelling in Donetsk oblast over resulted in four casualties and 21 injured, including children. Police recorded 2,559 enemy strikes on the region.

The russian forces shelled 16 settlements: the towns of Kurakhove, Lyman, Myrnohrad, Siversk, Toretsk, Ukrainsk, the villages of Raihorodok, Shcherbynivka, Yampil, Izmailivka, Yelizavetivka, Kostiantinopilske, Malynivka, Myroliubivka, Novoselivka Persha, and Romanivka.

108 civilian objects were damaged, including 69 residential buildings, 4 educational institutions, businesses, a shop, outbuildings, vehicles, power grids, and a field of wheat.
According to the police of Donetsk oblast, the russians dropped 5 UMPB D-30SN bombs on Myrnohrad. A 15-year-old boy died on the spot, and two more 13-year-old teenagers were injured. Four men aged 37, 37, 46, 50 and seven women aged 22, 23, 39, 40, 40, 43, 60 were also injured. The damage included 50 houses, 10 outbuildings, 2 educational institutions, a shop, and cars.

The enemy shelled Raihorodok with Tornado-S MLRS, one person was killed and three were injured. 14 private houses were damaged.
A civilian was killed in Siversk and two others were injured. In Novoselivka Persha, one civilian was killed and two wounded.
The occupiers hit Lyman with two KAB-500 and KAB-250 bombs – one person was wounded, an apartment building, an educational institution, and 9 outbuildings were damaged.
There was information about two residents of Chasiv Yar who died as a result of enemy shelling earlier, on 10 July.
Luhansk oblast
According to Luhansk RMA, the occupiers fired 10 times at Nevske. The enemy also used rocket artillery near Makiivka and Nevske.
Three airstrikes were carried out near Makiivka. Civilians are in extreme danger there. The enemy attacked Novoiehorivka with unguided aerial missiles.
Also russians attempted to advance near Nevske and Makiivka eight times.
The pace of passport issuance decreased in Dovzhansk (formerly Sverdlovsk). The city has been occupied for 10 years, but the local population is unwilling to apply for russian passports. The occupation administration is accused of insufficient work with people. Thus, about 30% of retirees living in Dovzhansk and the surrounding settlements do not have russian passports.
Luhansk’s public transport is at risk of being shut down, especially electric buses provided by russia. They were also operated by russian drivers whose contracts have expired. Local men are afraid to join the transport company because of the threat of forced mobilisation. There is also risk heavy workload and low pay.
The State Environmental Inspectorate in Luhansk oblast has calculated the damage caused to the region’s environment since the beginning of the full-scale invasion in 92 cases totalling more than UAH 516bn.
What is happening now in the north of Ukraine
Kyiv oblast
Ruslan Kravchenko, Head of the RMA informed that the enemy once again attacked Kyiv oblast with missiles and drones. The alert was announced three times and lasted almost all night – more than 7 hours. Air defense forces shot down enemy targets. No hits to residential or critical infrastructure were recorded. There were no casualties. Debris fell in 3 districts in open areas outside of buildings.
Vitalii Klychko, Kyiv Mayor, announced that a special commission has begun to examine a building in Shevchenkivskyi district that was heavily damaged by a russian missile attack on 8 July. The building’s entrance was completely destroyed and other entrances, as well as all nearby buildings and school premises, were severely damaged.
Health Minister Viktor Liashko reports that restoration work continues at the Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital, which began the day after the russian attack. Electricity and water supply have already been restored, the medical gas supply system is working – there is oxygen, and the compressed air system has started working. The laboratory and blood centre have resumed their work, and the radiology department is functioning. The next step is to bring cancer patients back to the hospital and restore critical medical services, including the operating unit, intensive care unit, paediatric ophthalmology, urology and neurosurgery.
All of the hospital’s buildings were damaged in the strike, some of which are beyond repair. They will be demolished and one new modern building will be built. Currently, according to the head of the Ministry of Health, the damage is being assessed and a company is being sought to carry out the construction work.
The accounts of the medical institution affected by the russian attack have already received more than UAH 800m through charitable foundations. The government has allocated UAH 100m for reconstruction work. Ukrainians and Ukrainian businesses have raised more than UAH 300m for the needs of the children’s hospital.

Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klychko informed that a psychological rehabilitation event for the hospital’s young patients took place on the territory of the Ohmatdyt hospital. The hospital management asked to hold a therapy event for children with the involvement of animal assistants to comfort, reassure and support the children who remained in the non-destroyed premises of the Okhmatdyt hospital. Kyiv Zoo has been organizing such events at Ohmatdyt for almost 7 years, providing psycho-emotional assistance to children.
The Office of the Prosecutor General reported that law enforcers identified seven russian servicemen involved in war crimes during the occupation of Bucha in Kyiv oblast. They have been notified of suspicion under the article on violation of the laws and customs of war. The investigation found that they shot four people in March 2022. All the killed locals were civilians and did not take part in the armed conflict. The agency noted that in total, law enforcement officers have identified more than 1,200 war crimes committed by russian troops during the occupation of Bucha.
Zhytomyr oblast
On 12 July, traffic will be restricted on the right-hand side of the bridge near Tsarivka village on the M-06 Kyiv-Chop road. This will happen due to the completion of major repairs that began last year on the artificial structure damaged by aircraft missiles. The repair work will take about two months.
Khoroshiv hosted a charity event in support of the military called “War must not steal childhood”. At the event, everyone had the opportunity to taste authentic Cossack kulesh and fish soup, learn about the natural treasures of the region, buy lavender products, try their hand at a win-win shooting range, and visit a military corner. Each location had a box for charitable contributions.
Sumy oblast
Olena Sharkova, Acting Head of the community, reported that on the morning of 12 July, the russian military attacked Myropillia with two FPV drones causing fire in civilian buildings. The first strike was on a local lyceum, the second – on an outpatient clinic building. No one was injured.
At night and in the morning, the russians fired 6 times at the border areas and settlements of Sumy oblast. There were 33 explosions, including artillery shelling (23 explosions), an explosive device dropped from a UAV, and FPV drone strikes (9 explosions). Bilopillia, Velyka Pysarivka and Seredyna-Buda communities were shelled.
According to Sumy Regional Military Administration, on the night of 12 July, air defense systems destroyed a russian cruise missile and a Shahed drone in the oblast.
On 11 July, the russian army fired 24 times at the border areas and settlements of Sumy oblast. There were 66 explosions. 10 border communities were shelled.
An explosive device was launched from a drone at Putivl community.
In Seredyna-Buda community, 2 civilians were injured and 7 explosions occurred as a result of an FPV drone strike. There was also an artillery shelling in the community – 4 explosions.
Velyka Pysarivka community was attacked by artillery – 11 explosions. Also, unguided aerial missiles were fired at the community from a russian helicopter – 9 explosions. Subsequently, there was artillery shelling – 9 explosions and mortar shelling – 6 explosions.
The russian troops dropped 2 mines on Esman community. They also attacked with an FPV drone.
Yunakivka and Miropillia communities were attacked by drones(6 explosions).
The russian troops dropped 6 mines on Khotyn community. There was also an attack from an aircraft-type drone.
Nova Sloboda and Bilopillia communities were attacked by an FPV drone – one explosion in each community.
Krasnopillia community was shelled with small arms from the territory of the russian federation.
The SES announced that rescuers from Sumy oblast joined the evacuation of civilians from Bilopillia. People were transported to a place of temporary residence, and the evacuees were provided with psychological and other necessary assistance.
Comfortable living conditions are created in Poltava oblast for residents of Sumy oblast who want to move to safer places. IDPs will be accommodated in a well renovated dormitory of one of the region’s educational institutions, not far from the regional centre. The necessary conditions were created jointly with UNHCR and the International Organisation for Migration.
Since the beginning of the year, Sumy oblast has been able to raise almost UAH 280m and start implementing 5 socially important initiatives to support food and economic security, the oblast’s agricultural sector, and assistance to IDPs. Volodymyr Artiukh, Head of the RMA stressed that Sumy oblast is grateful to Denise Brown, UN Resident Coordinator in Ukraine, her team and OCHA representatives for the fruitful cooperation.
Sumy oblast received computer equipment for 6 digital educational centres to implement the educational sub-project of the Grant Agreement for the Emergency Recovery Programme between the Government of Ukraine and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
Chernihiv oblast
The SBGS reported that russian troops attacked three border communities in Chernihiv oblast with various types of weapons. There were 26 explosions.
Semenivka community: 3 attacks with mortars and FPV drones towards Leonivka and Medvedivka.
Snovsk community: 18 mortar attacks towards Kliusy and Khrinivka.
Novhorod-Siverskyi community: 5 mortar and FPV drone attacks towards Krasnyi Khutir and Hremiach.
Chernihiv Regional Medical and Psychological Centre reported that Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, awarded Mykola Petrovych from the village of Redkivka, Chernihiv oblast, with the honorary Golden Cross badge for personal courage and heroism, steadfastness and determination in the performance of military duty. The soldier is an infantryman of the 58th separate motorized infantry brigade named after Hetman Ivan Vyhovskyi, who defended a village in Donetsk oblast, provided first aid and evacuated his wounded comrades.
Viacheslav Chaus, Head of Chernihiv Regional Administration, announced that Chernihiv Regional Children’s Hospital received humanitarian aid and medical equipment worth more than $340,000 from partners from Latvia. The aid was collected by six Latvian healthcare institutions.
Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
Mykola Lukashuk, Head of the Oblast Council, says that the enemy shelled Nikopol with artillery. Marganets and Myrove communities were under fire. In the morning, the occupiers launched a kamikaze drone over Nikopol. According to the updated information from yesterday’s shelling on Marganets community, there was a fire. 4 farm buildings, damaged 9 private houses, 4 farm buildings and a garage were destroyed.
The enemy shelled Nikopol with artillery and launched kamikaze drones. The regional center, Marhanets and Pokrovske communities were affected.
As a result of the attacks there were several fires, an industrial enterprise, and an administrative building damaged. From one and a half dozen private houses, a dozen farm buildings were damaged, two more – completely destroyed. An ambulance, a moped, several cars, and power lines were damaged. Their livestock were affected.
Vinnytsia oblast
Vinnytsia RMA reports that at night, the Defense Forces shot down 2 enemy Shahed-type UAVs.
Mayor of Vinnytsia Serhii Morhunov reports that necessary equipment for the military was transferred from Vinnytsia – 200 FPV attack drones and 5 night Mavic 3T.
In Vinnytsia on Victory Square in front of the memorial sign “Victims of missile strikes on Vinnytsia”, there were placed several dozen pairs of children’s and adult shoes. This is how the residents honored the victims of the russian Kalibr strike on July 14, 2022.
Kirovohrad oblast
In Kirovograd oblast, engineers launched production of FPV drones. After testing, they are transferred to the front. The FPV drone is equipped with a camera that broadcasts real-time video to the monitor or the pilot’s glasses, and carries ammunition.
Poltava oblast
In one of the communities of Poltava oblast, a hostel was renovated to receive IDPs from Sumy oblast. A total of 50 people can live there. Residents from the border villages of Sumy will be accommodated.
Cherkasy oblast
Igor Taburets, head of Cherkasy RMA, reports that at night, defenders destroyed a cruise missile in Cherkasy region. According to preliminary information, another air target was destroyed in the sky over Zolotov region. As a result, dry grass burned, power lines and windows of nine private houses were damaged.
Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine
Zaporizhzhia oblast
Yesterday, the occupiers launched 406 attacks on 12 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast. russian forces carried out 2 airstrikes on Varvarivka. They deployed 170 UAVs of various modifications to attack Bilenkе, Huliaipole, Levadne, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Malynivka, Uspenivka, and Novoandriivka. Four MLRS strikes hit Novoandriivka, Malynivka, and Robotyne. There were 230 artillery strikes on the territories of Stepnohirsk, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriivka, Robotyne, Levadne, Malynivka, and Novopavlivka. Fourteen reports of damage to residential buildings and infrastructure were received.
On 11 July, at 18:18, the enemy shelled one of the villages in Polohy region, causing a wheat field to catch fire. The fire covered an area of nearly 4 hectares. In total, nine fires broke out in Zaporizhzhia, Vasylivka, and Polohy regions due to enemy shelling.

The situation remained unchanged towards Huliaipole. Ukrainian defenders repelled one attack towards Huliaipole without losing any positions. There were two combat clashes towards Orikhiv, including near Mala Tokmachka.
Mykolaiv oblast
On the night of 12 July, air defense forces destroyed a Shahed 131/136 UAV.
Yesterday, on 11 July, the enemy twice shelled Kutsurub community with artillery. There were no casualties.
On 11 July, a man was injured due to an explosion of an unknown explosive device in the village of Myrne in Shevchenkove territorial community. The incident occurred while he was working in the field. The victim was hospitalized with a preliminary diagnosis of mine-explosive injury.
Odesa oblast
As of the morning of 12 July, there are no enemy ships in the Black Sea. There are three enemy ships in the Sea of Azov, and there are two carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 24 missiles in the Mediterranean Sea.
Four communities in Odesa oblast received Social Taxi vehicles from the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ). Now, people with disabilities and those with limited mobility in Kodyma, Starokozache, Okny, and Artsyz communities can reach state specialized institutions, utility and medical facilities, and other places to receive the necessary assistance and services. A total of 31 specialized vehicles were purchased for communities in 9 regions of Ukraine as part of the project, with 29 vehicles funded by the German government and 2 by the European Union.
Kherson oblast
The russian army attacked Beryslav with a drone. A 94-year-old resident was hit while inside a building. She suffered shrapnel wounds, a concussion, explosive and cranial injuries, and lost part of her lower limb. She was transported to the hospital in serious condition.
10 people were injured in Kherson oblast due to russian shelling, including police officers, a rescuer, and volunteers. Yesterday, the occupiers targeted a car carrying humanitarian aid, a farm where they destroyed 150 tons of grain, and twice struck emergency service workers, injuring one rescuer and significantly damaging two fire engines. Among the injured are two police officers, a press service employee of Kherson RMA, and two volunteers. Kherson, Antonivka, Stanislav, Prydniprovske, Tokarivka, Sadove, Dniprovske, Chornobaivka, Tomyna Balka, Kizomys, Beryslav, Tiahynka, Havrylivka, Osokorivka, and Dudchany were under enemy shelling yesterday. A multi-story and 10 private houses, three civilian and two fire vehicles, a critical infrastructure facility, a business, a farm, and two garage premises were damaged in these settlements.
Yesterday, rescuers extinguished 16 fires caused by enemy shelling. According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kherson oblast, five fires occurred in the residential sector, burning houses, an apartment building, outbuildings, and a car. 11 fires were also extinguished in open areas covering a total area of 19 hectares and a wheat field of 12 hectares.
The South Defense Force destroyed 76 occupiers and 63 units of weapons and military equipment. Additionally, they destroyed five field supply buildups, three observation posts, a UAV control station, a fuel storage site, a minefield, and a field logistics buildup.

Volyn oblast
This year, the Cabinet of Ministers allocated UAH 5.7bn to purchase housing for military personnel and families of fallen soldiers. Of these, Volyn oblast will receive UAH 102.8m for 45 residents from the oblast, namely 27 people with disabilities as a result of the war of the I-II groups who defended the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, 5 members of the families of fallen soldiers, 5 people with disabilities as a result of the war of the I-II groups who took part in hostilities on the territory of other states, 8 IDPs who took part in Anti-terrorist Operation and Joint Forces Operation and were recognized as combatants or persons with disabilities as a result of the war of the III group.

Zakarpattia oblast
Zakarpattia and Khmelnytskyi Regional Councils signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. Among priorities of cooperation is work on the development of business activity and attraction of investments and international technical assistance.
In Uzhhorod City Council, high state awards were presented to relatives of the fallen Heroes. Major Serhii Kuznev was awarded with the III degree Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi. Senior Sergeant Yevhenii Melechynskyi, Junior Sergeant Mykola Yuzhakov, Senior Soldier Nazar Chavarha and Soldiers Serhii Birniak and Danylo Bohuslivskyi were awarded with the III degree Order of Courage.
Ivano-Frankivsk oblast
2 families of fallen defenders went to rest in the Carpathians. As part of the Care for the Hero’s Family project, 2 adults and 3 children will have the opportunity to improve their health. Since the beginning of the new season, 179 mothers with children have had the opportunity to rest and recover.
The RMA sent 4 sets of electronic warfare equipment worth UAH 564,000 and 5 Eco Flow charging portable power stations worth almost UAH 300,000 to the 419th Rifle Battalion thanks to the budget funds.
Lviv oblast
Lviv RMA, in cooperation with the Western Regional Center of the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, conducted a 2-week internship for students of the National Academy of Land Forces named after Hetman Petro Sahaidachny. This happened within the framework of the Academy of 1st Opportunities project. During this time, interns learned in practice what it means to work in the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, in the Representative Office of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Commissioner for Human Rights, in the Security Service of Ukraine, in Lviv RMA and in other state structures.
In the village of Bryukhovychi, a modular town was built for 32 IDPs, including children. At the beginning of the full-scale war, they were all evacuated to Lviv oblast in search of a safe haven. The construction of the modular town was initiated by the The Wise Cause Patriarchal Foundation with the financial support of the Knights of Columbus international CF. Premises were furnished in 2 years.
A trip to the Tustan rock fortress was arranged for soldiers, as well as the children of the killed, captured and missing defenders. 54 people took part in the trip to the fortress and the Skolivsk Beskydy National Nature Park. The leisure was organized together with the My Dad Protects Ukraine CF within the framework of the tourism and resort management project of Lviv Regional State Administration Hiking Therapy. All trips for our defenders and their families are free.
Rivne oblast
The RMA reported that the staff of Rivne Regional Center of Emergency Medical Aid and Disaster Medicine sent 2 ambulances to the 71th Separate Hunting Brigades of the Airborne Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Rivne City Council reported that preparatory work on the installation of monuments to fallen defenders of Ukraine has begun on Heroes’ Alley of the Nove cemetery. Monuments will have the appearance of a Cossack cross, which is generally accepted by all religious denominations.
Ternopil oblast
In June, Ternopil oblast allocated UAH 51.2m of military levies to the budget. The military levy was introduced in Ukraine in August 2014 as an additional source of financing and support for the army.
Khmelnytskyi oblast
In the evening of 11 June, during the repulse of an air attack, the Air Defense Forces shot down 3 enemy targets. There were no casualties or damage.
At night, during the air alarm signal, the air defense forces destroyed 1 enemy UAV of the Shahed type. The places where the debris fell are being established. There were no injuries, casualties among the civilian population or damage to property.
Zakarpattia and Khmelnytskyi Regional Councils signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. Among priorities of cooperation is work on the development of business activity and attraction of investments and international technical assistance.
Chernivtsi oblast
In Chernivtsi oblast, a project was launched, which provides for sightseeing tours and the passage of easy mountain routes through the Pokut-Bukovyna Carpathians for military personnel who are undergoing rehabilitation in the institutions of the region. It is jointly implemented by Chernivtsi RMA and Chernivtsi Excursion Bureau.
The Veteran administrative service was launched in Bukovyna. From now on, combatants, members of their families, people with disabilities as a result of the war, as well as relatives of fallen defenders will be able to contact the administrative services center in their locality and receive even more necessary administrative services.
International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)
The US announced a new package of military aid worth $225m to Ukraine. The funds are allocated under the PDA program – direct supplies from the reserves of the US Army. The package includes:
- a Patriot air defense battery;
- ammunition for the NASAMS air defense system;
- missiles for MANPADS Stinger;
- additional ammunition for HIMARS;
- 155 and 105 mm caliber artillery shells;
- equipment and missiles for TOW anti-tank missiles;
- Javelin anti-tank systems and AT-4 anti-tank grenade launchers;
- cartridges for small arms;
- explosive equipment;
- spare parts, maintenance equipment and other support equipment.
23 states and the EU signed the Ukrainian Security Compact at the NATO summit. The document obliges the signatories to provide assistance in the field of security, modern military equipment, defense industry; accelerate the development of the future Armed Forces of Ukraine; if the russian federation attacks Ukraine again, ensure Kyiv’s support, including assistance in the field of security, imposition of economic and other fines. The agreement is open for signing by other countries and it will act in parallel with Ukraine’s progress towards joining the EU and NATO.
The UN General Assembly adopted a resolution on the safety of nuclear facilities in Ukraine. Now, russia must urgently withdraw its military and other unauthorized personnel from ZANP, and immediately return the plant to the full control of Ukraine.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, met with Joseph Biden, President US. Supporting Ukraine was discussed.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, met with Giorgia Meloni, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Italy. They discussed the key needs of Ukraine, specifically air defense.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, met with Emmanuel Macron, French President. They discussed implementation of decisions of the Peace Summit, as well as the preparation of the next defense package, security cooperation and training of the Ukrainian military.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, met with Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President Turkey. They discussed preparation of a conference in Turkey dedicated to food security and freedom of navigation within the framework of the implementation of the decisions of the Peace Summit.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi held a five-way meeting with leaders of the Indo-Pacific countries – NATO partners for the 1st time. They discussed the situation in the Indo-Pacific region, which is rapidly changing and requires unity and coordination in security matters.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, met with representatives of American defense companies. They discussed prospects of joint defense production, primarily of ammunition, anti-aircraft systems, guns, armored vehicles and drones, as well as the provision of repair and maintenance of military equipment.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, met with Petr Pavel, President of the Czech Republic. Coordinated positions before the meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council, meetings of the air defense coalition and the fighter coalition.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, met with Olaf Scholz, Chancellor of Germany. They discussed additional Patriot systems, situation on the battlefield and implementation of results of the Peace Summit.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, met with Peter Pellegrini, new President of Slovakia. They discussed joint projects in energy, border infrastructure and humanitarian cooperation.
