It has been the 808th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6pm:   

On 11 March, there were 108 combat clashes.

In total, the enemy launched 7 missile and 74 air strikes, carried out 83 MLRS attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas. As a result of russian terrorist attacks, there are wounded among the civilian population. High-rise and private buildings, as well as other infrastructure facilities, were destroyed and damaged.

Towards Volyn and Polissia, the operational situation has not changed significantly. No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.

Towards Siversk, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shells settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increases the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine. More than 10 settlements were hit by enemy artillery and mortar fire, including Bleshnya, Khrinivka, Sosnivka of the Chernihiv oblast; Basivka, Kindrativka, Sadky, Myropillia, Popivka, Studenok of Sumy oblast.

Towards Kharkiv, the enemy, with the support of aviation, carried out attacks in the areas of the settlements of Strilecha, Krasne, Morokhovets, Oliinykove, Lukiantsi, Hatyshche, Pletenivka of Kharkiv oblast. It carried out airstrikes in the areas o of Vilcha, Lyptsi, Lyman, Izbytske, Vesele, Petrivka, Kozacha Lopan, Synelnykove, Vovchansk of Kharkiv oblast.

Towards Kupyansk, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 15 attacks in the areas of Synkivka, Novoyehorivka, Ivanivka of Kharkiv oblast; Stelmakhivka, Luhansk oblast, where the enemy tried to improve the tactical position. It carried out airstrikes in the areas of Tverdokhlibove and Serhiivka settlements of the Luhansk oblast. About 10 settlements, including Petropavlivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Berestove of Kharkiv oblast, came under artillery and mortar fire.

Towards Lyman, the Defense Forces repelled 6 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Makiivka, Nevske and Serebrianka forestry of Luhansk oblast; Terny, Donetsk oblast. More than 10 settlements were affected by artillery and mortar shelling, including Nevske, Luhansk oblast; Terny, Yampolivka, Torske of Donetsk oblast.

Towards Bakhmut, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 28 attacks in the areas of Bilohorivka, Luhansk oblast; Verkhnokamianske, Spirne, Vyimka, Rozdolivka, Andriivka, Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, Hryhorivka, Novyi of Donetsk oblast, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to improve the tactical position. The enemy also carried out airstrikes in the areas of the settlements of Kurdyumivka, Pivnichne and Niu York of Donetsk oblast. More than 15 settlements, including Druzhba, Hryhorivka and Chasiv Yar of Donetsk oblast, came under artillery and mortar fire.

Towards Avdiivka, our defenders repelled more than 20 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Novooleksandrivka, Yevhenivka, Sokil, Novopokrovske, Novoselivka Persha, Semenivka, Umanske, Netaylove of Donetsk oblast, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to oust our units from the occupied lines. It also carried out airstrikes in the areas of Kalynove, Karlivka, Mykolaivka, and Novohrodivka settlements of Donetsk oblast. About 20 settlements, including Novooleksandrivka, Sokil, Novopokrovske and Umanske of the Donetsk oblast, were hit by artillery and mortar shelling.

Towards Novopavlivka, the Defense Forces continue to restrain the enemy in the areas of the settlements of Kostyantynivka, Krasnohorivka, Vodiane, Urozhayne, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to break through the defences of Ukrainian troops 7 times. More than 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire from the occupiers, including Krasnohorivka, Maksymilianivka, and Heorhiivka of the Donetsk oblast.

Towards Orikhiv, the enemy, with the support of aviation, attacked the positions of our defenders 11 times in the area of Staromayorske, Donetsk oblast, and Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia oblast. It also carried out an airstrike in the area of the settlement of Storozheve, Donetsk oblast. About 20 settlements were hit by artillery and mortar shelling, including Bilohirya, Robotyne, and Kamianske of Zaporizhzhia oblast.

Towards Kherson, the enemy has not given up its intention to oust Ukrainian units from the bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnieper. Thus, during the day, with the support of aviation, it carried out 2 unsuccessful attacks on the positions of our troops in the area of the settlement of Krynky, Kherson oblast. The enemy launched an airstrike in the area of the settlement of Antonivka, Kherson oblast. About 20 settlements, specifically Krynky, Tyaginka, Antonivka of the Kherson oblast and the city of Kherson, were hit by artillery and mortar shelling.

Aviation of the Defense Forces and units of missile forces struck 1 artillery, 3 radar stations and 4 buildups of enemy personnel.

Artem Dekhtiarenko, Spokesman of the Security Service of Ukraine, reports that the Security Service of Ukraine prevented terrorist attacks that the russian GRU was preparing in Kyiv on 9 May. The perpetrators of the terrorist attack were caught red-handed and evidence was collected, which indisputably confirms the russian trace. 

The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense reports that the Defence Intelligence has identified 29 occupiers who launch Kinzhal missiles on the territory of Ukraine. Experts also identified 7 officers from among the technical staff of the regiment.

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Kharkiv oblast

According to an analytical report by the US Institute for the Study of War (ISW), russian offensive operations along the border in Kharkiv oblast are likely to have a strategic goal of bringing Ukrainian forces to this axis to enable russian advance in other areas of eastern Ukraine.

Oleh Syniehubov, Head of Kharkiv RMA, reported that the situation on the northern and northeastern border of the oblast is fully controlled. Heavy fighting continues in Strilecha, Pylna, Borysivka, near Oliinykove and Ohirtseve but actually they were in the “grey zone”. The enemy tried to attack in other areas within the oblast: enemy subversive reconnaissance groups searched for weak positions on the border, but all attempts were stopped by the Defence Forces. There is no threat of a ground operation for Kharkiv. The Defence Forces are doing everything possible to hold their positions.

Serhii Zhukov, an analyst at the Centre for Strategic Communications and Information Security, informed that at the end of March, russians launched their psychological operation to attack Kharkiv oblast, it was then that the number of fakes targeting Kharkiv and the residents of Kharkiv and the oblast increased.

Oleksii Kovalenko, a military and political observer at the Information Resistance group, said that russians still have reserves on the border with Kharkiv oblast. The actions of russians can be considered a distraction manoeuvre, so that the Defence Forces focus on the defence of the north of Kharkiv oblast, while russians attack another direction.

Tamaz Hambarashvili, Head of Vovchansk City Military Administration, stated that the community is under intense enemy attack. Also russians launched more than 20 guided aerial bombs towards Vovchansk on 11 May.  In the afternoon of 11 May, there was intense shelling of the city with artillery, mortars, MRLs, KABs, and drones. At 11:30am, the enemy hit a private house in Vovchansk. There were no casualties.

At 3:45pm, a private house was on fire as a result of russian shelling in Vovchanski Khutory village. At the same time, a 64-year-old man was injured as a result of shelling in Vovchansk.

A civilian was injured, a 50-year-old and a 48-year-old men killed as a result of shelling of houses by the KAB bombs.

Viktor Kovalenko, Head of Zolochiv community, said that at around 12:40am, russia shelled Odnorobivka using artillery. An 18-year-old boy suffered an arm injury and was hospitalised. 7 residential buildings, power and gas networks, outbuildings and cars were damaged.

There were no attacks on Kharkiv yesterday.

30 settlements in Kharkiv oblast suffered artillery and mortar attacks yesterday: Petropavlivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Berestove and others. Hlyboke, Lukiantsi, Ohirtseve, Vovchansk, Vovchanski Khutory, Vesele, Vilcha, Lyptsi, Slobozhanske, Sosnovyi Bir and Ukrainske were hit by airstrikes.

At 12:45am, four houses and a car were damaged as a result of enemy shelling of Odnorobivka village, Bohodukhiv region.

At 11:40pm, a 53-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man were injured as a result of shelling in Lyptsi village, Kharkiv oblast.

At 5pm, a tractor tripped over an unknown explosive device in the field of Andriivka village, Izium region. There were no casualties.

At 12:50pm, private houses were damaged and a 55-year-old man killed as a result of the shelling of Cherkaski Tyshky village, Kharkiv region.

On 10 May, dozens of private houses were damaged as a result of a series of massive shelling of Vovchansk with different types of weapons. A 52-year-old and a 42-year-old man, a 60-year-old woman were injured, another man and a woman were injured and two people killed.

Yesterday Ukrainian troops repelled 13 attacks towards Kupiansk, including near Synkivka and Berestove.

Towards Slobozhanske, 9 attacks were repelled, specifically near Krasne, Morokhovets, Oliinykove, Hatyshche and other settlements.

So far, 1048 residents have been evacuated from Chuhuiv region, 440 from Kharkiv region, 12 from Bohodukhiv region and 275 people have been evacuated by volunteers. A total of 1775 people have been evacuated.

Donetsk oblast

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported 83 russian attacks on the eastern front on 10 May. Most of the attacks were towards Avdiivka and Bakhmut.

Serhii Tsehotskyi, an officer of the 59th Separate Mechanised Brigade, informed that Ukrainian soldiers are holding control over Krasnohorivka, Nevelske and Netailove, and in some places are regaining lost positions. About 50 invaders were eliminated over the day.

Donetsk police confirmed that on 10 May, the russian military dropped an UMPB D-30 SM bomb on Novohrodivka and damaged the boiler house, and shelled Stara Mykolaivka by Grad multiple rocket launchers. Markove village was also shelled by artillery.

Soldiers of the 2nd mech battalion of the 3rd assault brigade captured a deputy company commander and a senior sergeant of the 752nd regiment of the russian federation near Raihorodok in Luhansk oblast.

Oleh Kalashnikov, Spokesman of the 26th Artillery Brigade, said that the Siverskyi Donets-Donbas canal is under the control of the Ukrainian army.

The 110th Separate Mechanised Brigade named after Lieutenant General Mark Bezruchko and the Khortytsia operational-strategic group reported that Ukrainian anti-aircraft gunners shot down a russian Su-25 attack aircraft in Donetsk oblast. The remains of the aircraft are currently burning in one of the Ukrainian landing sites.

Anastasiia Miedviedieva, Spokeswoman of the Regional Prosecutor’s Office, added that the russian army shelled Mykolaivka village, Pokrovsk region, by a Smerch MRLs. As a result, a 12-year-old boy sustained concussion. Residential buildings were also damaged.

The operational situation in the oblast as of the morning of 11 May is as follows:

Towards Pokrovsk, in Elyzavetivka of Marinka community, 2 people were killed and 1 injured. In Kurakhove community, 5 private houses were damaged in Trudove, 2 in Vovchenka, 1 in Kurakhove, an administrative building and an apartment building in Hostre.

Towards Kramatorsk, Terny and Yampolivka of Lyman community were shelled. 7 objects were damaged in Stara Mykolaivka of Illinivka community. 4 houses were damaged in Markove of Kostiantynivka community.

Towards Bakhmut, 2 people were injured, 14 private houses, 3 apartment buildings and an industrial building damaged in Chasiv Yar community. 3 houses and a non-residential building were damaged in Siversk.

In total, russians shelled settlements in Donetsk oblast 11 times over the day. 454 people, including 74 children, were evacuated from the frontline.

Vadym Filashkin, Head of Donetsk Regional Military Administration, reported that yesterday russians killed 2 civilians in Elyzavetivka. Another 3 people were injured in the oblast over the day.

Luhansk oblast

Yesterday the enemy shelled frontline Nevske, the most populated settlement in the de-occupied part of Luhansk oblast, using artillery. The shelling resulted in 10 explosions and at least five houses were damaged. Fortunately, there were no casualties. In addition, russians used mortars and multiple rocket launchers there. Also artillery and mortars were used to attack Stelmakhivka and Kuzemivka.

Enemy attacks were repelled from Stelmakhivka, Makiivka and Bilohorivka.

Another fire broke out in the coniferous forest around Sievierodonetsk this spring. Like the last time, the occupation authorities are taking no action, choosing the tactic of monitoring the situation. There is no desire or means to extinguish the fire.

Artem Lysohor, Head of Luhansk Regional Military Administration, reported that residents of the occupied Rubizhne complain about the lack of doctors in medical institutions and the shortage of medicines. It is almost impossible to buy medicines for a first aid kit.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

The SBU prevented terrorist attacks planned by the russian GRU in Kyiv on 9 May.  The perpetrators were detained due to The proactive SBU actions. The SBU also collected evidence confirming the russian trail. The SBU promises to provide details of the special operation later.

An additional UAH 189.5m will be allocated to continue the apartment buildings restoration in Kyiv oblast. This decision was passed by the Cabinet of Ministers. Last year, the government allocated UAH 639m for this purpose. The list of projects to be financed in 2024 from the fund for the consequences of armed aggression liquidation  has also been approved.

Ruslan Kravchenko, head of the Kyiv RMA, said that the RMA would terminate contracts with some contractors who disrupted the schedules for rebuilding damaged facilities at the expense of the Armed Aggression Relief Fund. According to him, active work is underway at most facilities. Some of them are more than 70% ready, while others will be put into operation soon.

Ruslan Kravchenko also informed that despite the russian military aggression, 90% of Kyiv oblast businesses have resumed their work, and 76% of enterprises are already operating at full capacity. 

During the Second International  Summit of Cities and Regions, Kyiv Regional Government announced that an online platform for business interaction between Kyiv and Washington State has been launched in the oblast. This is a platform where business representatives, companies and industries from the two regions will cooperate and sell their services and products. The portal is already being filled with information about Kyiv oblast enterprises.

The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy announced the exhibition of icons of the Virgin Mary on ammunition boxes opening in the Great Lavra Bell Tower of the Kyiv Cave Monastery on 9 May. The project ‘Icons on Ammo Boxes’ by Kyiv artists Sonya Atlantova and Oleksandr Klymenko is dedicated to artistic meditations on the russian-Ukrainian war. The funds raised from the icons sales will be used to support various volunteer initiatives, primarily related to military medicine.

Danish urban planner and designer Mikael Colville-Andersen plans to create a Scandinavian-style therapeutic garden in Kyiv. In recent months, the cycling urbanist has been in the capital working on a project he wants to organise in Podil. The location will be designed to combat mental trauma and PTSD. The grand opening of the garden is scheduled for 5 June, on Danish Constitution Day.

In Podil district of the capital, Pravdy Avenue was renamed in honour of the European Union. The decision was made by Kyiv City Council on the occasion of Europe Day.

Zhytomyr oblast

The amount of environmental damage caused by an enemy attack on an industrial facility in the Zvyagel community is over UAH 63 m. Experts from the State Environmental Inspectorate calculated the damage caused to the environment as a result of an enemy UAV hitting an industrial facility on 8 April 2024. Yevhen Medvedovskyi, Head of the State Environmental Inspectorate of Polissia region, informed that in total, over the two years of russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the damage caused to the environment of Zhytomyr oblast amounts to UAH 17.8b.

In Zhytomyr oblast, there are 4,830 objects damaged as a result of the russian armed aggression, of which 4,172 buildings are residential, accounting for 86%. Of these, 3,313 have been restored, or 68.6% of the total.

Under the Restoration programme, the commissions have made 699 decisions to provide compensation for housing restoration totalling UAH 73.5m. As of today, 675 owners of damaged homes have already received funds totalling UAH 62.5 million to their card accounts.

Sumy oblast

The RMA reported that the russian military launched a missile attack on the suburbs infrastructure of the regional centre. As a result of the attack, a woman born in 1987 died of multiple life-threatening injuries. Liquidation of the russian attack consequences  is ongoing.

Also, according to the RMA, at night and in the morning of 11 May, russians attacked the border areas and settlements of Sumy oblast 8 times. There were 67 mortar and artillery attacks. Khotin, Yunakivka, Myropillia, Krasnopillia, Bilopillia, and Esman communities were shelled.

Over the past day, russians fired 26 times in Sumy oblast.There were 139 explosions with mortars, artillery, FPV drones, and UAVs. Khotin, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Hlukhiv, Esman, Shalyhyne, Seredyna-Buda, and Znob-Novhorodske communities were shelled.

Sumy RMA reported that as a result of artillery shelling of Esman community on 10 May, a minor girl was wounded and her grandmother was killed. A local resident was injured as a result of the shelling of Seredyna-Buda community. 

The North operational command reported that on the night of 10 May, the russian military shelled the village of Loknia, Sumy region, with phosphorus ammunition from multiple rocket launchers. There were nine explosions. The village of Kostiantynivka Khotin of the community was shelled with incendiary ammunition from multiple rocket launchers with 10 explosions recorded. Two unguided aerial missiles were also launched from an aircraft at the village. 

Yurii Zarko, Mayor of Bilopillia, said that a mandatory evacuation of residents is being prepared from Bilopillia and Vorozhba. Temporary evacuation to places of compact residence is planned. Everyone will be able to sign up on Monday at the city council shelter. Evacuation buses will be organised on Tuesday.

Volodymyr Artiukh, Head of the Sumy RMA, said that residents of the 10-kilometre border zone of Sumy oblast are advised to refrain from visiting cemeteries on memorial days for security reasons. 

In Sumy oblast, certificates were presented to graduates of a business school for veterans and their families. The course lasted three months at Sumy National Agrarian University.

Chernihiv oblast

It is reported that russian troops attacked the border of Chernihiv oblast 16 times. According to the State Border Guard Service, there were 102 explosions. Three communities were under enemy fire: Novhorod-Siverskyi – 6 mortar attacks, Semenivka – 91 mortar and cannon artillery attacks; and Snovsk – 5 mortar and cannon artillery attacks.

Serhii Boldyrev, Head of the Department of Civil Protection and Defence of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, informs that on 9 May, the russian military fired an Iskander-M ballistic missile at the territory of Pryluky community. There were no reports of casualties among the local population or damage to civilian infrastructure.

UAH 64m raised through the United24 platform will be used to rebuild Mykhailo-Kotsiubynskyi Lyceum in Chernihiv Oblast. The relevant resolution was adopted at a government meeting. It is noted that the funding will be provided by the funds raised as part of the Game4Ukraine charity football match organised in London by the ambassadors of the United24 fundraising platform, Andrii Shevchenko and Oleksandr Zinchenko.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

Mykola Lukashuk, Head of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Council, reported that the enemy launched 4 kamikaze drones at Nikopol. 2 private houses and an infrastructure facility were hit in the city.

More than 2,000 families in Dnipropetrovsk oblast have received payments to repair homes damaged by russian attacks under the eRestoration program. 22 certificates for the purchase of new housing have been issued.

Vinnytsia oblast

​​A week later, it became known that 11 defenders from Vinnytsia oblast had been killed. 

In Vinnytsia, the Flag of Memory and Honor for the Hero event was held on European Square.  The event was attended by families, brothers-in-arms, and friends of the fallen soldiers.

Poltava oblast

Filip Pronin, Head of the RMA, reported that the first lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, visited Poltava oblast. She inspected shelters in two educational institutions of Kremenchuk community. Now these spaces are comfortable for living and studying. The shelters are equipped with furniture, children’s literature and entertainment games, and uninterrupted Wi-Fi access. One of the shelters has a lift for people with disabilities.

66 residents of Poltava oblast whose homes were destroyed or damaged by enemy shelling received compensation under the eRestoration program. 

In Poltava, a demonstration “Do not be silent. Captivity kills!” was held near the city council. This is a reminder of the prisoners of war of the Mariupol garrison, all captives and missing persons. The event was attended by about 40 people. 

Cherkasy oblast

In Shabastivka, Monastyryshchyna, a memorial complex “Alley of Glory of Heroes” was opened. In the centre of the village, memorial plaques were placed with the names of the soldiers who gave their lives for the freedom of Ukraine.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

On 10 May, Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka, Levadne, Robotyne, Malynivka, Novoandriivka, Novopavlivka and Mariivka in Zaporizhzhia oblast were targeted by occupiers.

Zaporizhzhia Regional Police reported that the enemy launched 167 drones at Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka and Levadne, and conducted 190 artillery attacks against settlements in Polohy region. The shelling resulted in damage to residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure objects. There was damage to residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure, including household buildings and a hangar. No injuries were reported.

According to the South Operational Command, there were 13 assaults on towards Orikhiv. The enemy conducted 5 attacks near Robotyne of Zaporizhzhia oblast. Also, 1 unsuccessful enemy assault was on the left bank of Kherson oblast. In the operational zone, 260 enemy UAVs were detected. The occupiers carried out artillery shelling, airstrikes using guided bombs and drone attacks. Counter-battery resistance and repelling enemy assaults continued. The enemy attempted to dislodge Ukrainian units from their positions but was unsuccessful.

According to the video published on the National Guard of Ukraine’s Telegram channel, aerial reconnaissance units of the 15th Operational Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine destroyed a russian BMD-4M in Zaporizhzhia oblast by an FPV drone. An FPV drone was used to destroy the enemy’s equipment. 

The National Resistance Center announced an increase in filtration measures in the temporarily uncontrolled territory of Ukraine. Primarily, this involves inspections at checkpoints. Invaders meticulously check the personal belongings and documents of peaceful residents of southern Ukraine.

Also, entrepreneurs are being forced by the occupiers to change the names of shops, cafes, and private enterprises to emphasize that the so-called new territories, including the gates to Crimea – Melitopol, belong to russia. There should be no traces of Ukrainian inscriptions – this policy applies not only to the occupied parts of Zaporizhzhia oblast but also to other captured territories of Ukraine by russia.

Mykolaiv oblast

Vitalii Kim, Head of Mykolaiv RMA, reported that on 10 May, around 6:55pm, russian forces conducted a mortar strike on the waters of Ochakiv community. Also, at 7:56pm, in Dmytrivka village of Kutsurub community, a building located on the territory of an agricultural enterprise was damaged due to an FPV drone attack. There were no casualties reported.

Odesa oblast

Oleh Kiper, Head of Odesa RMA, reported that on 11 May, the occupiers once again attacked Odesa, launching an aviation missile towards the city. The air defence forces shot down the missile, and there have been no reports of damage or casualties.

According to the MarineTraffic portal, Odesa ports continue to facilitate the export of Ukrainian products. As of today, there are 31 ships waiting in the waters of the Black Sea for loading queues. Among them are 4 chemical tankers. Currently, there are 13 ships in Odesa port, another 13 in Chornomorsk, and 5 in Pivdennyi. Also, another 6 ships are on their way to leaving the ports, while 1 ship is entering.

On 10 May, Odesa Municipal Museum of Personal Belongings named after O.V. Bleschunov presented a book featuring stories of residents from Kherson oblast. Ukrainian and Estonian artists created the book as part of the “Lament of Kherson region” project. The majority of stories depict the lives of the oblast’s inhabitants during the war.

Kherson oblast

On 10 May, russian forces shelled Kherson oblast, injuring 4 civilians and damaging private houses. Tokarivka, Sadove, Antonivka, Poniativka, Inzherne, Kizomys, Beryslav, Mykhailivka, Kozatske, Burhunka, Vesele and Tiahynka were under enemy attack and airstrikes. Also, guided aerial bombs targeted Kherson. The russian occupiers aimed at the residential areas of settlements in the oblast, damaging 3 private houses and hitting an administrative building. Storage facilities and private vehicles were damaged.

In Muzykivka village of Kherson oblast, an 11-year-old boy was injured due to the explosion of a russian mine. The child was urgently hospitalised, and medics assessed his condition as moderate.

According to Southern Operational Command, on 10 May, the Southern Air Defence Forces destroyed 3 russian UAVs in Kherson oblast. Ukrainian defenders shot down Supercam and ZALA reconnaissance drones and the Lancet strike drone. 

The Southern Defence Forces eliminated 119 occupiers and captured a cache of enemy equipment towards Zaporizhzhia and Kherson. These include 5 artillery pieces, 2 mortars, 12 armoured vehicles, 3 reconnaissance UAVs, 2 aerial photography stations, 1 radio-electronic warfare station, 1 radio-electronic warfare antenna, 1 UAV control antenna, 1 Starlink and 1 boat.

On the left bank of Kherson oblast, russian fortifications were liquidated in Liubymivka village of  Kakhovka region, from where they were shelling the right bank of Kherson oblast.

According to Kherson CMA, on 10 May, Kherson City Territorial Community was shelled 6 times by russian occupation forces. Overnight, the enemy attacked from the air. There were strikes in Kherson. No information about casualties or injuries. 

Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of Kherson RMA, reported that on the night of 11 May, russian occupiers launched airstrikes on settlements of Kherson oblast. One of the UAVs targeted a private house in Tiahynka, Beryslav region. A 26-year-old resident was killed in the strike, and his body was recovered from the rubble in the morning. A 61-year-old woman was injured and received medical assistance on the spot. Also, on 11 May, russians attacked Sadove village in Kherson oblast, injuring an 82-year-old man.

Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of Kherson RMA, said that on 11 May, russian forces struck the gas distribution station in Stanislav community. 4 settlements – Stanislav, Shyroka Balka, Oleksandrivka and Sofiivka – are without gas, this affecting over 2,000 consumers.

According to the National Resistance Center, in the occupied part of Kherson oblast, russians have intensified repressive measures against peaceful residents. At checkpoints, occupiers meticulously inspect personal belongings and documents. Also, together with collaborators, they compile lists of those who have yet to receive russian passports at enterprises, institutions and organisations. They also conduct house-to-house checks to find out who has and has not received a russian passport. Such events are held to identify people with a pro-Ukrainian position.

Volyn oblast

A race was held in Lutsk to mark the 10th anniversary of the start of civil-military cooperation in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Lutsk City Council reported that the community sent 60 FPV drones 11 Mavic 3, 5 Mavic 3T, Mavic 3E, Matrice 30T, 3 Starlink, 3 Ecoflow Delta 2, 2 Piranha 5had EW sets, 2 Bandera Flashlight, 2 BNB AGM NVG-50 NL1 and 4 sets of Kvertus AD Counter FPV to the military.

Zakarpattia oblast

Deputies of Zakarpattia Regional Council are on a working visit to the Vysočina Region. On the agenda is the construction of the 4.5.0 Recovery Centre regional rehabilitation centre and the cooperation of partner regions in the field of water and forestry.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

Civil servants from Kosiv region organised the 3rd charity auction in support of Ukrainian soldiers. During the bidding, more than 90 lots were presented, for which it was possible to collect UAH 740,000 thousand, which will be directed to strengthening the military formations of the oblast.

Lviv oblast

A large-scale Prosthetics and Orthotics Center was opened in Lviv, where they will be able to manufacture over a thousand prostheses a year, train future prosthetists, and conduct research and development. He worked at the base of the UNBROKEN National Rehabilitation Center with the support of the German government.

Lviv oblast sent a record 808 drones, included, FPV drones, Mavic 3 and Mavic 3T, to the front line thanks to the funds from the auction for the anniversary of the initiative, funds from partners and Slavska community. This is the largest number of combat drones that were simultaneously transferred within the framework of the Birds of Victory project.

10 master prosthetists of Superhumans made over 600 prostheses in a year. 7 prosthetists specialise in lower limbs, 3 – in upper ones. They had dozens of training sessions, exchanged experience, adopted valuable advice and modern methods.

Rivne oblast

Privilena community sends a Mercedes-Benz truck to the one of the military units where 4 community servicemen are serving. 50% of the cost of the car was co-financed with the funds of village council workers, institutions and institutions.

Ternopil oblast

Ternopil City Council reported that the community sent a DJI Mavic 3T quadcopter to the 150th Separate Mechanised Brigade.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

A Safety Classroom was opened for students of Starousytskyi Lyceum, Kamianets-Podilskii region. Over 150 students studying at the lyceum will be able to get the knowledge they need in these difficult times, because the classroom is divided into various zones. There is space for fire and mine safety, traffic, first aid, water safety, etc. Separately, the organisers equipped a room for psychological relief, and the UNICEF Foundation provided the children with educational literature that teaches children safety rules during the war.

Chernivtsi oblast

Kitzmansk healthcare facilities received medical beds, bedside tables, tables and sterile materials thanks to the cooperation of Chernivtsi RMA, the German-Ukrainian organisation Blau-Gelbes-Kreuz e.V. and the CBG Chernivtsi business group, Kitzman Medical Care Center and Kitzman Multidisciplinary Hospital provided intensive treatment. Such assistance is designed to optimise the work process of medics and provide comfortable conditions for patients.

International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)

Military aid worth $400m from the US will include:

  • additional ammunition for Patriot air defence systems;

Great Britain will send the largest military aid package in history worth 500m pounds, included 4m rounds of ammunition; over 1,600 missiles; 400 vehicles, including Husky armoured vehicles, to Ukraine

The US agreed to sell Ukraine 3 HIMARS installations for approximately $30m. The Pentagon’s Security Cooperation Agency stated that Ukraine requested the purchase of 3 HIMARS missile systems, which will be financed by the German government. Anthony Blinken, US Secretary of State, noted that there is an emergency situation that requires the urgent sale of the specified systems to Ukraine, which will come from the reserves of the US Army.

Bill Blair, Canadian Defense Minister, reported that the country is allocating $55m to a German-led initiative to quickly deliver air defence systems to Ukraine to repel russian attacks.

Germany will provide Ukraine with a grant of €45m to restore and strengthen the stability of transmission system facilities that are under enemy attacks, purchase of equipment for energy-efficient modernization, automation and reconstruction of substations of NEC Ukrenerho. Thanks to the support of the German Development Bank KfW during the period of military aggression of the russian federation, NEC Ukrenerho attracted over €177m in credit and grant funds for the restoration and development of the electricity transmission network.

Anatolii Kutsevol, Ambassador of Ukraine to Latvia, announced that Latvia will send drones of its own production to Ukraine. The country also receives wounded Ukrainian defenders.

Ukraine and Belgium have started negotiations on the conclusion of an agreement on cooperation in the field of security.

Denys Shmyhal, Prime Minister, met with Roberta Metzola, President of the European Parliament, in Kyiv. They discussed issues of European integration, confiscation of russian assets, the President of Ukraine’s Peace Formula and the role of the EU in its implementation.

The US reacted to putin’s nuclear threats. The russian dictator was advised to withdraw troops from Ukraine if he is afraid of Western military aid to Kyiv.
