On 7 September, the situation on the front remained tense as the Defense Forces of Ukraine continued to decisively resist enemy attempts to advance into Ukrainian territory, focusing efforts on thwarting the occupiers’ offensive plans.
There were 102 engagements on the front line.
The hottest spots are currently being the vicinities of Pokrovsk and Kurakhove.
russian forces continue to use aviation and artillery on border settlements of Sumy and Chernihiv oblasts. Mykolaivka, Porozok, Semenivka, and Tymofiivka have been hit by artillery, while Horile, Pervomaiske, Bereza, Mala Rybitsa, Veselivka, and Hodunivka were targeted by airstrikes. In total, the enemy has dropped 14 guided bombs (KABs) on Sumy oblast.
Towards Kharkiv, russian terrorists stormed Ukrainian positions near Vovchansk, where fighting continues. Kozacha Lopan was hit by enemy KABs. Towards Kupiansk, russians launched four attacks towards Synkivka, Lozova, Stelmakhivka, and Andriivka. One attack was repelled by Ukrainian forces, while three battles are still ongoing.
Towards Lyman, the enemy attacked the vicinities of Cherneshchyna, Nevske, Lozova, Torske, Makiivka and Dibrova. There were 18 clashes in that direction, with two still ongoing near Nevske. The situation is under control.
The enemy continued attempts to break through Ukrainian defences towards Siversk but faced fierce resistance. Near Spirne, Verkhnokamianske, and Vyiimka, the invaders attempted four times to push back Ukrainian units, but all attacks were repelled.
Towards Kramatorsk, the occupiers launched five assaults near Chasiv Yar, Andriivka, and Klishchiivka. Fighting continues near Andriivka, and the enemy is actively using aviation, striking Chasiv Yar with KABs and unguided missiles.
Towards Toretsk, the number of enemy attacks increased to five. Supported by assault and bomber aviation, russian forces were trying to attack the vicinity of Toretsk, where three attacks were repelled, and Nelipivka, where one attack stopped. Two battles continue.
The enemy continuously attacks Ukrainian defenders towards Pokrovsk, where they launched 28 attacks near Vozdvyzhenka, Hrodivka, Zelenyi Hai, Lysivka, Myroliubivka, Novohrodivka, Selydove, and Mykhailivka. The Defense Forces repelled 18 enemy attacks, while ten battles are ongoing. Oleksandropil was hit by unguided missiles.
The situation is also difficult towards Kurakhove, where the occupiers attacked 27 times, trying to advance near Kostiantynivka, Krasnohorivka, and Heorhiivka. Battles continue in six locations.
Towards Vremivka, Ukrainian forces repelled three attacks towards Vodiane and Vuhledar, with no success for the enemy in their attempts to advance toward Vodiane.
Towards Orikhiv and Huliaipole, the occupiers continued shelling Ukrainian positions and civilian areas, also using assault aviation on Novoandriivka.
Towards Kherson, three russian attacks were unsuccessful. russian aviation struck settlements such as Urozhayne, Beryslav, Tiahynka, and Tokarivka, dropping ten guided bombs.
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal reported that Ukraine now has 47 humanitarian demining operators. He also noted that after launching a compensation program for farmers for land demining, the government received nearly 100 applications for reimbursement in less than a month.
The Ministry of Education reported that more than 80% of schools in Ukraine are equipped with generators. They plan to resume in-person learning in as many schools as possible next year.
Recent war events in the east of Ukraine
More than half of the fighting on the frontline took place towards Pokrovske and Kurakhove – out of 187 attacks and assaults in all areas, 95 were repelled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in these areas.
According to the General Staff’s report, the Defence Forces repelled 49 attacks towards Pokrovsk.
The highest concentration of attacks was near Novohrodivka, Hrodivka and Mykhailivka.
Towards Kurakhove, Ukrainian troops repelled 46 occupiers’ attacks near Krasnohorivka, Kostiantynivka and Heorhiivka.
Towards Lyman, the russian army attacked 17 times near Novoiehorivka, Druzheliubivka, Cherneshchyna, Terny, Torske, Dibrova and Makiivka.
Kharkiv oblast
The General Staff reported that towards Kharkiv, russian troops stormed the positions of Ukrainian units near Vovchansk, and the battle was still ongoing at 4:00pm. Kozacha Lopan came under attack from russian anti-aircraft guns.
Towards Kupyansk, russia attacked four times near Sinkivka, Lozova, Stelmakhivka and Andriivka. As of 4:00pm, one attack was repelled, three were ongoing.
Two attacks were recorded in Kharkiv – in Industrial and Saltivka districts. Mayor Ihor Terekho says that a fire broke out at the site of one of the strikes. Information about the wounded is being established.
The press service of the regional prosecutor’s office reported that a 61-year-old security guard of the enterprise was injured as a result of a russian strike on Saltivka district of Kharkiv.
The State Emergency Service press service said that in Mala Danylivka, an unidentified aerial vehicle hit a private house. Five people were injured. One house was destroyed and at least 10 others were damaged.
Around 12:40 am, the body of an 81-year-old resident was recovered from the rubble of a destroyed house in Starovirivka village, Kupiansk region, as a result of hostile shelling.
An 18-year-old girl was wounded as a result of a russian air strike on Novoosynove in Kupiansk region at around 10:20am. The regional prosecutor’s office said that at least 10 houses were also damaged.
The day before, at 07:35 and 07:58am, russians attacked the town of Liubotyn in Kharkiv region. The shelling damaged private houses, window glazing, roofs and cars. Six people were injured, among them a 16-year-old and a 14-year-old girl, their injuries are light.
At 09:08, russians attacked Solonitsynivka community. As a result of the shelling, 500 square metres of grass burned. A car was damaged. A 46-year-old man was injured, he was hospitalised.
At 09:55am, russians attacked Kivsharivka village, Kupiansk region. As a result of the shelling, grass and coniferous litter over an area of 800 square metres were burned.
At around 10am, russians attacked Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi village, Kupiansk region. The shelling damaged a logistics infrastructure facility.
At 11:30am, russians attacked Borova village, Izium region. As a result of the shelling, coniferous litter burned over an area of 1 hectare.
At 12:25am, russians attacked Kupiansk. An 88-year-old woman was injured in the shelling.
Around 1:00pm, russians attacked Derhachi community, as a result of hostile shelling, cars were damaged. There were no casualties.
At 2:03pm, russians attacked Losivka village, Chuhuiv region, open territory. As a result of the shelling, 900 square metres of coniferous litter was burning.
At 5:20pm, russians attacked Kolodyazne village, Kupiansk region, open territory. As a result of the shelling, 2 hectares of grass and two outbuildings were burned.
At 5:40pm, russians attacked the village of Kivsharivka, Kupiansk region. As a result of the shelling, 700 square metres of coniferous litter was burned.
At 5:45pm, russians attacked Novoosynove village, Kupiansk region. The shelling damaged a private house.
Around 8:00pm, a 24-year-old man was blown up on an explosive device in the forest belt near Izium, he was hospitalised.
115 families are resettled in Studenok village. Another 15 families moved to other settlements. Power company specialists connected 12 damaged houses to the electricity supply. The Red Cross Society has provided beds, mattresses, bed linen and crockery for the victims. Residents continue to be provided with hot meals.
Towards Kharkiv, russian terrorists stormed the positions of Ukrainian troops four times in the areas of Lypky and Vovchansk.
The enemy attacked Ukrainian Armed Forces’ fortifications towards Kupiansk twenty-four times near Synkivka, Hlushkivka, Andriivka, Berestove and Stelmakhivka. In the morning, fighting continued in six locations.
In May, the russian military destroyed a sports school in Zolochiv, Kharkiv oblast, where 400 children were studying before the full-scale invasion. The damage caused was estimated at UAH 32 million.
Donetsk oblast
Anastasia Medvedeva, Spokeswoman for the regional prosecutor’s office, says that russian troops shelled the suburbs of Toretsk and the village of Katerynivka in Illinivka community. As a result, two more people were killed and two wounded.
Four people were wounded in the morning shelling of Kostiantynivka, they sustained shrapnel wounds to their arms and legs.
The shelling hit the centre of the town with dense residential buildings. russian troops allegedly struck with cannon artillery.
The regional State Emergency Service reports that russian troops shelled Kurakhove in Donetsk oblast, one of the shells hit near the building of the 73rd State Fire and Rescue Unit. As a result, the building of the fire and rescue unit and a fire truck were damaged, but the rescuers were not injured.
The day before, police recorded 2,459 hostile attacks on the frontline and in the residential sector.

Thirty-nine civilian objects were damaged, including 29 residential buildings, educational institutions and critical infrastructure.

The occupiers attacked Toretsk with a KAB 250 bomb with an UMPK module and artillery, killing two civilians and damaging a private house.
The enemy used drones and artillery to attack Hirnyk – a civilian was wounded, an educational institution, an apartment building and 8 private houses were damaged.

One person was injured in Izmailivka as a result of shelling, and a house was damaged.
An educational institution and a critical infrastructure facility were damaged in Pokrovsk, and three apartment buildings and critical infrastructure were damaged in Kostiantynivka.
In Hirnyk, police evacuated children under the gun of enemy drones. The police crew evacuated two families from the front line: 4-year-old Violetta and her mother and a large family with 5 children: four girls and a two-year-old boy. During the gathering, an enemy drone hovered over the evacuation vehicles, threatening to strike at any second. The police quickly put the people in an armoured capsule and left the dangerous location. The family took their pets, puppies, with them.
Donetsk Oblast State Emergency Service reported that it took more than a day to extinguish the fire in Sloviansk after the shelling on 5 September, with twenty houses on fire. A mother and child were rescued from one of the houses. In total, more than 1,300 square metres burned down.
Luhansk oblast
Towards Kupiansk, the enemy attacked near Stelmakhivka and Andrivka, and in the Liman sector – near Novoiehorivka and Makiivka. In some areas, they attacked with the support of aviation. For example, russians attacked Stelmakhivka with unguided aerial missiles. Nevske was hit with a multiple rocket launcher system. The occupiers fired at Makiivka and Nevskoye from artillery and used UAVs.
Employees of Vostokugol who were forcibly mobilised into the russian army were offered financial compensation for unused vacation days that had accumulated before the call-up. To do so, the miners need to submit an application, in which they must state that they are leaving voluntarily or by agreement. This is the official proposal of the so-called Ministry of Energy of the lpr. By the way, their employment contracts are suspended for the period of mobilisation. They offer men to voluntarily leave without any social guarantees.
In the summer, the supply of drinking water was stopped in Lysychansk, which is more than 15 km long. For three years now, the invaders have been promising to repair the centralised water supply system, but the matter has not progressed beyond talk and demonstration repairs of individual sections. Before that, water deliveries were organised for local residents, though on an irregular basis. Recently, the water trucks provided by the russian federation have disappeared from the city. This event coincided with the replacement of the curator from Tatarstan, who is in charge of Lysychansk.
What is happening now in the north of Ukraine
Kyiv oblast
Ruslan Kravchenko, Head of Kyiv Regional Military Administration, reported that on the night of 7 September, russians attacked Kyiv oblast with drones, the alert lasted more than 8 hours. Air defence forces were deployed. Targets were shot down, no hits to critical and residential infrastructure reported, no casualties.
Three private houses in one of the districts were damaged as a result of the falling debris of the downed targets. Windows were smashed, doors and roofs were damaged. In addition, in two districts outside the settlements, grass and stubble fires were recorded. The fires were promptly extinguished.
Ruslan Kravchenko also announces that 33 cogeneration units will soon be installed in the communities of Kyiv oblast to produce electricity and heat, with a total capacity of almost 80 MW. Agreements have already been signed with communities and investors to install such plants in Bucha, Brovary, Vyshgorod, Fastiv, Obukhiv and Bila Tserkva districts. An additional 16 locations are being considered for the installation of cogeneration units. Plans to install 8 compact gas-fired combined heat and power plants on wheels are also underway. Their purpose is to supply energy to educational, healthcare and social security facilities in Kyiv oblast. Seven communities in Kyiv oblast will receive the equipment by the heating season. Solar power plants are also being installed. The preparation of Kyiv oblast for the heating season is currently 80% complete.
Anna Pashko, Temporary Acting Head of the KOVA agro-industrial development department, informed that Kyiv oblast farmers have already harvested 1 million 683 000 tonnes of new crop grain. In total,
434 thousand hectares have been threshed with an average yield of 38.8 centners per hectare. The company has already harvested 3,000 tonnes of buckwheat, 6.400 tonnes of millet and 55.600 tonnes of other grains and pulses. The total harvest of oilseeds was 302,000 tonnes. In particular, 137,000 tonnes of rapeseed, 1,600 tonnes of oilseed flax and 0.900 tonnes of mustard. The company also harvested 71,000 tonnes of sunflower and 91.300 tonnes of soybeans.
Zhytomyr oblas
Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration reported that Iryna Bondar, an athlete from Zhytomyr oblast, won a gold medal at the U20 World Wrestling Championships, which are taking place in Pontevedra, Spain. The wrestler competed in the 62 kg weight category.
Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration informed that on 07 September, the opening ceremony of the Ukrainian team championship in relay running took place at the Polissia Central Stadium in Zhytomyr. The competition was attended by 13 teams representing different regions of Ukraine. The opening ceremony was attended by Viktor Hradivskyi, Deputy Head of Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, representatives of the city authorities, heads of the regional military administration’s structural units, the public and journalists.
Sumy oblast
During the night and in the morning, russians carried out 15 shelling attacks on border areas and settlements in Sumy oblast, resulting in 38 explosions: airstrikes by KAB, attacks by FPV-drone and Lancet ammunition, dropping an explosive device from a UAV, mortar and artillery fire. The attacks targeted Myropillia, Boromlia, Khotin, Krasnopollia, Shalyhyne, Beresivka, Serydyno-Byda, Svessa, and Velyka Pysarivka communities.
According to Sumy oblast police, during the past day, the enemy attacked 32 settlements. As a result of the shelling, one woman was killed, and six people injured, including two children. The attacks damaged two apartment buildings, 18 private homes, a hospital, a post office, a farm, and one vehicle. Three private homes caught fire due to the strikes.
The North Operational Command reported that on 6 September, russian forces dropped three guided bombs on civilian infrastructure in Krasnopillia, Sumy region. As a result of the attack, a 66-year-old woman was killed in her home, and four people were injured, including a 15-year-old girl. More than 30 households and a critical infrastructure facility were damaged in the village.
In Myropillia, an FPV drone strike injured a civilian and destroyed agricultural equipment.
In Machulyshcha village, Konotop region, an FPV drone strike damaged a medical facility.
In Cherneve village, Shostka region, a private house was destroyed as a result of shelling from a multiple launch rocket system.

Sumy Regional Military Administration informed that on 6 September, russian forces carried out 70 attacks in Sumy oblast. There were 186 explosions. Eleven border communities came under fire.
The enemy used drones to strike Myropillia, Krasnopillia, Khotin, Hlukhiv, Esman, Seredyno-Buda, Shalyhyne, and Velyka Pysarivka communities. There were guided bomb attacks in Khotin, Yampil, and Krasnopillia communities. Bilopillia community was shelled by mortars and tanks. Shalyhyne community suffered artillery and Grad rocket system attacks, while Velyka Pysarivka community was bombarded with artillery and mortars.
Krasnopillia community: a mortar attack (8 explosions), an FPV drone attack (3 explosions), kamikaze drones (2 explosions), explosive devices dropped from UAVs (11 explosions), and guided bomb launches (3 explosions). As a result of the airstrikes, one civilian was killed, and four others were injured.
The State Emergency Service (SES) of Sumy oblast reported that on 6 September, in Shostka region, firefighters had to extinguish two fires in the residential sector caused by enemy strikes. 5 residential houses, 3 garages, and a summer kitchen were saved from the flames.

According to the Regional Military Administration, as of 6 September, more than 8,000 consumer metering points in Sumy oblast remain without electricity due to russia’s military aggression. All repair trips to damaged power grids located along the border with russia or in close proximity to it are coordinated with the military and executive authorities. In some areas, energy workers do not have the necessary permits for repairs.
Throughout August, mobile medical teams from Sumy oblast branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society visited 156 settlements in the oblast. There are six mobile medical teams operating in Sumy oblast, each consisting of a family doctor, a nurse, a pharmacist, and a driver. There were 2,880 patient examinations conducted in remote settlements.
Chernihiv oblast
Viacheslav Chaus, Head of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, reported that on 6 September, russian forces shelled the border town of Semenivka by artillery, causing fires on the outskirts of the town, where a house and several outbuildings were set ablaze. Fires also broke out in another village of the community due to strikes by FPV drones.
According to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (DPSU), throughout the past day, russian troops carried out attacks on two border communities in Chernihiv oblast. A total of 46 explosions were recorded.
Novhorod-Siversk community: 3 drone strikes near Hremiach and Chaikyne.
Semenivka community: 43 strikes by mortars, FPV drones, and artillery shelling against Semenivka, Mykolaivka, Orlykivka, Karpovychi, and Zarichchia.
Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
Mykola Lukashuk, Head of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Council, reported that last night, the occupiers sent two kamikaze drones to Nikopol. In the morning of 7 September, they shelled the city with artillery.
In the evening, a 76-year-old woman was killed in Marhanets community as a result of enemy shelling. Another woman in her 60s was injured. She was hospitalised in moderate condition. During the day, the occupiers attacked the area with artillery and kamikaze drones. They targeted the community centre, Myrove and Marhanets communities.
Several fires broke out, private homes, infrastructure, and outbuildings were damaged, and livestock died. In the afternoon, the Air Forces were on alert in the region.
Kirovohrad oblast
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that a russian Shahed was shot down in Kirovohrad oblast at night.
Poltava oblast
In Poltava, near the Holy Dormition Cathedral of the OCU, the six people who were killed in a missile attack on the communications institute on 3 September, were paid tribute to.
Cherkasy oblast
Ihor Taburets, Head of Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, reported that five enemy UAVs were destroyed in the sky over Cherkasy oblast. In one case, the falling debris set the forest floor on fire.
Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine
According to the Southern Defence Forces of Ukraine, on 6 September, Ukrainian forces in the south eliminated 74 occupiers and destroyed 24 units of russian weaponry and military equipment.
Zaporizhzhia oblast
On 7 September, the Defence Forces repelled an russian assault near Mala Tokmachka in Orikhiv axis.
As reported in the morning briefing of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on 6 September, in Huliaipole the situation remains largely unchanged.
Ivan Fedorov, Head of Zaporizhzhia RMA, reported that russian forces carried out 265 strikes on 10 cities and villages in Zaporizhzhia oblast.
Mykolaiv oblast
On the night of 7 September, Ukrainian air defence forces destroyed 12 Shahed 131/136 drones over Mykolaiv.
Vitalii Kim, Head of Mykolaiv RMA, in the evening of September 6, at 7:24pm, the enemy shelled the coastal area of Ochakiv. There were no casualties reported.
Odesa oblast
According to the city’s mayor, on the night of 7 September, there was a threat of attack by strike drones in Odesa.
Kherson oblast
Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the RMA, reported that as a result of enemy shelling in Poniativka on 7 September, a resident was killed. A 45-year-old man suffered fatal injuries.
As reported by the RMA, russian aviation dropped 5 bombs on settlements in Beryslav region. A 28-year-old woman was injured and hospitalised.

As reported by the RMA, during the day, russian forces dropped explosives from a drone on Odradokamianka in Kherson oblast. A 69-year-old woman sustained blast injuries and was hospitalised.
According to Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of Kherson RMA, Ukrainian air defence forces destroyed 7 russian Shahed-131/136 drones over Kherson oblast on the night of 7 September.
Roman Mrochko, Head of CMA, reported that at night, the russian military shelled Korabelnyi district of Kherson.

Volyn oblast
Lutsk City Council reported that the 110th Separate Mechanised Brigade received 10 Raptor 8 UAVs with a daytime camera and 15 Raptor 8 UAVs with a thermal imaging camera.
Zakarpattia oblast
The Department of Veteran Policy of the Department of Social Policy of Uzhhorod City Council held a psychological support retreat for the parents of fallen Heroes. They had the opportunity to communicate, feel support after the tragedy, rest and have a little distraction.
Ivano-Frankivsk oblast
Prykarpattia received a fully equipped ambulance thanks to the Paramedyk group of companies, which specialises in providing first aid and providing medical equipment in Ukraine. It will serve for the transportation of people with reduced mobility, specifically, military personnel with injuries.
Lviv oblast
On the facade of Sokal school, a commemorative plaque was installed to Ihor Demidont, who fought in the 105th Border Unit named after Prince Volodymyr Great. This is the 4th graduate of this educational institution who was killed in the war. On 1 May, 2024, he was seriously wounded in Avdiivka region and died on 5 May, 2024 from his injuries.
The RMA reported that Maksym Dranytskyi, Vasyl Tarnyovyi and Mykhailo Hedz were awarded with the III degree For Courage Order (posthumously).
The Combatant’s Cross was posthumously awarded to Volodymyr Osidach, native of the village of Myshlyatichi. He served in the 3rd company of the 420th Separate Rifle battalion of the Military Unit A4821. He was killed on 21 August, 2023 while performing a combat mission in Luhansk oblast.
Rivne oblast
The RMA reported that at night, during an alert in the oblast, enemy air targets were shot down. People were not injured.
For almost 2 months, a social and medical hub has been operating in Smyzka community thanks to a micro-grant won by the community this year. According to terms of the program, EUR 10,000 were allocated by Poland for the implementation of the project, and EUR 3,000 were co-financed by the community.
Ternopil oblast
Ternopil community sent anti-drone systems Parasol-2, DRONESHIELD-03 and a gun DRONEKILLER-11 for soldiers of the National Guard thanks to the budget funds.
Khmelnytskyi oblast
At night, during an air alarm signal, the Air Defense Forces destroyed 2 enemy UAVs of the Shahed type. The places where debris fell are being established. All relevant services are working. There were no reports of injuries, deaths or damage to property.
The STAB ++ Psychological Support Center has started work in Khmelnytskyi. It is a place where bereaved families can find support, understanding and professional help.
Chernivtsi oblast
The RMA held a meeting with the delegation of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany. They discussed possibilities of cooperation and implementation of joint projects and initiatives.
The oblast sent a quadcopter equipped with a video camera and generators to the 82nd Bukovyna Assault Brigade. The quadrocopter came from the UKA Umweltgerechte Kraftanlagen GmbH&CoKG German organisation. 5 powerful generators were provided to soldiers by the Lebensfahrten e. V German organisation with the assistance of the Peaceful Guard CF.
In Bukovina there will be 25 centres for teaching the Defense of Ukraine subject on the basis of secondary education institutions. For the implementation of this program, Chernivtsi oblast received over UAH 65m from the state budget.
International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)
The US announced a new $250m aid package to Ukraine, included,
- RIM-7 missiles and air defence support;
- Stinger missiles;
- ammunition for highly mobile artillery rocket systems (HIMARS);
- 155-mm and 105-mm artillery ammunition;
- tube-launched optically-tracked and guided-by-wire (TOW) missiles;

- spare parts, auxiliary equipment, services, training and transportation.
Canada announced a new military aid package for Ukraine, included, 80,840 additional CRV-7 rocket engines and 1,300 warheads will be delivered. Bill Blair, Defense Minister, announced that Ukrainian Armed Forces pilots had arrived in Canada this week to begin fighter pilot training.
Margarita Robles, Minister of Spain, announced that the country will give Ukraine a HAWK air defence battery with 6 launchers.
Great Britain will send 650 light multi-purpose missiles to Ukraine to strengthen air defence.
The Netherlands will provide Ukraine with air-to-air missiles and auxiliary materials for F-16 fighters for €80m.
Sweden joined the demining coalition by pledging €5m to the Coalition Fund to support demining efforts.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, met with the delegation of the US Congress headed by Senator Lindsey Graham. They discussed the situation on the front line, results of the operation in Kursk oblast and consequences of russian missile terror. The primary needs of Ukrainian soldiers were discussed separately. One of key priorities is the acquisition of additional air defence systems and missiles for them, as well as the expansion of training missions for Ukrainian pilots on F-16 fighters.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, met with Giorgia Meloni, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Italy. They discussed restoration and reconstruction of Ukraine, specifically the energy system.
