It has been the 1500  th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

What happened in Ukraine today:

On 3 April, the number of enemy attacks reached 62.

The aggressor continues to shell border regions. In Sumy oblast, the settlements of Korenok, Bachivsk, Iskryskivshchyna, Budky, Doroshivka, Otruba, Neskuchne, Sytne, Kozache, Rohizne, and Volfyne were affected; Kryvusha in Chernihiv oblast was also hit.

  • Towards Northern Sloboda and Kursk: The enemy launched one airstrike using four KABs and conducted 61 shellings of settlements and troop positions, 12 of which involved MLRS. One combat engagement was recorded.
  • Towards Southern Sloboda: The enemy made five attempts to improve its tactical position in the vicinity of Starytsia, Tsehelne, Vilcha, and Krasne Pershe.
  • Towards Kupiansk: The adversary conducted two assault actions in the areas of Borivska Andriivka.
  • Towards Lyman: Ukrainian warriors repelled one attempt by the invaders to advance toward Dibrova.
  • Towards Sloviansk: The occupiers attempted to advance toward Rai-Oleksandrivka twice.
  • Towards Kramatorsk: The occupiers conducted no active offensive operations.
  • Towards Kostiantynivka: The invaders carried out 14 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Udachne, Kleban-Byk, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Novopavlivka, Sofiivka, Pleshchiivka, and Kucheriv Yar. One attack is ongoing.
  • Towards Pokrovsk: Since the start of the day, the occupiers have attempted to push our warriors from their positions 25 times in the areas of Bilytske, Shevchenko, Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne, Serhiivka, Udachne, Muravka, Novomykolaivka, Novopidhorodne, Novopavlivka, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, and Molodetske. One assault action is ongoing.
  • Towards Oleksandrivka: The enemy attacked five times toward Iskra, Sichneve, Krasnohirske, Stepove, and Zlahoda. One assault continues. The occupiers also launched an airstrike near Velykomykhailivka.
  • Towards Huliaipole: Seven attacks occurred toward our defenders’ positions near Dobropillia, Pryluky, Hirke, and Varvarivka. Vozdvyzhivka, Dolynka, Rivne, and Kopani sustained airstrikes.
  • Towards Orikhiv: The enemy launched airstrikes near Obshche and Zarichne. No assault actions were conducted.
  • Towards Kherson: The adversary conducted no offensive operations.

In other directions, there are no significant changes in the situation. No enemy attempts to advance have been recorded. Ukrainian troops continue to exhaust the enemy along the entire line of contact and in the rear.

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

The Defense Forces struck russian warehouses and an oil depot in the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, according to the General Staff of the AFU.

Kharkiv oblast

Since the beginning of the day, russian troops have attempted to attack five times towards Southern Sloboda—in the vicinity of Starytsia, Tsehelne, Vilcha, and Krasne Pershe. Towards Kupiansk, as of 16:00, two attacks were recorded near Borivska Andriivka, the General Staff reported.

Over the past 24 hours, 230 combat engagements were recorded at the front. Towards Southern Sloboda, the Russians attempted to break through defenses five times near Starytsia and Veterynarne; towards Kupiansk, they attacked seven times in the direction of Petropavlivka, Kurylivka, Nova Kruhliakivka, and Novoosynove.

During the day, russians struck Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv with a strike drone—the UAV fell in the middle of one of the central streets. Seven people were injured, including a 2-year-old girl diagnosed with an acute stress reaction. Two of the wounded were in critical condition. Subsequently, two victims died in the hospital—a man approximately 60 years old and a 29-year-old woman.

The strike damaged the glazing of two medical facilities and at least four vehicles. Efforts to eliminate the aftermath of the attack are ongoing, with rescuers and municipal services conducting priority restoration work.

This marks the third consecutive day that russian troops have massively attacked Kharkiv with strike drones.

On the night of April 3, a russian Shahed type drone exploded in Kharkiv’s Central Park near the cable car. The drone was packed with metal ball bearings. As a result of the strike, the attraction’s cabins were damaged, a kiosk was destroyed, and trees were riddled with shrapnel.

Over the past 24 hours, russian strikes targeted Kharkiv and 24 other settlements in the region. Two people were killed, and 25 were injured, including eight children. In Kharkiv, three women sustained wounds, while several others, including an infant and a child, suffered acute stress reactions.

In Solonytsivka community, a 65-year-old man was killed; in Kupiansk region, an 18-year-old youth lost his life. Injuries and stress reactions were also recorded across various communities, including Lozova, Pisochyn, and Derhachi.

Russian troops attacked Kharkiv with missiles and drones, striking the Kyivskyi, Saltivskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Osnovianskyi, and Novobavarskyi districts. Across the region, they deployed missiles, KABs, Geran-2 and Molniya drones, FPV drones, and unidentified UAVs.

Civilian infrastructure was heavily damaged: in Kharkiv, the strikes hit residential buildings, enterprises, a higher education institution, park infrastructure, and approximately 90 cars. Destruction was also recorded in Bohodukhiv, Kupiansk, Izium, Kharkiv, and Chuhuiv regions.

The transit evacuation point in Lozova received 251 people in the last 24 hours. A total of 26,371 evacuees have been registered there.

 Donetsk oblast

On April 3, more than 100 battles took place in Donetsk oblast, with the highest concentration towards Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka, and Oleksandrivka, according to the General Staff of the AFU. Towards Pokrovsk, Ukrainian military stopped 58 assaults; towards Kostiantynivka, they repelled 19 attacks.

Russian troops launched a series of airstrikes on Kramatorsk. At midnight, the occupiers dropped three FAB-250 bombs on a residential quarter—high-rise buildings, an educational institution, a hotel, and cars were damaged, but no casualties were reported. During the day, the Russians launched five more airstrikes: according to preliminary data, two people were killed and three were injured; residential houses, a service station, and cars were damaged.

Throughout April 2, police recorded 1,539 Russian strikes across Donetsk oblast. Eight settlements came under fire, resulting in damage to 81 civilian objects, 67 of which were residential buildings.

On April 2, Druzhkivka sustained 12 Russian strikes, 11 of which were aerial bombs. According to local authorities, three people were killed in the community, and at least 11 others were injured. More than 30 private houses, administrative buildings, vehicles, and infrastructure facilities were damaged. Additionally, four regional gas company employees were wounded while performing work in Druzhkivka.

In Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka, russian troops killed two civilians and injured two others. A private house was destroyed.

Throughout April 2, russians shelled Kramatorsk at least six times, using KAB-250 bombs, FPV drones, and Grad MLRS. A man born in 1964 was injured. Dozens of houses and civilian cars were damaged in the city.

In Sofiivka, a Geran-2 drone strike damaged seven private houses. In Novomykolaivka, a private house and two cars were damaged.

The White Angels have evacuated several families along with their pets. Among those rescued are two children, a bedridden man who had to be lowered from the fifth floor, as well as dogs, a cat, and a chinchilla. Additionally, police officers delivered food for abandoned animals that had been taken in by a local resident.

In the village of Khrestyshche, Sviatohirsk community, Donetsk oblast, fewer than 350 people remain, including over 60 children. Before the full-scale invasion, more than 700 people lived here. In 2022, when the village fell on the frontline, most residents fled. Some returned after the Ukrainian Defense Forces pushed Russian troops back in the fall of 2022.

 

Luhansk Oblast

In Luhansk oblast, russian troops shelled Ukrainian military positions nine times with mortars, used automatic grenade launchers eight times, and struck with tube artillery. The occupiers deployed 13 drones to carry out combat missions.

The adversary attempted to advance near Nadiia and Novoiehorivka. In total, 13 attacks were recorded towards Lyman and Sloviansk.

In occupied Luhansk oblast, russians have intensified forced mobilization measures since April, specifically through house-to-house searches and questioning of local residents.

In the so-called “lpr,” control over schoolchildren is being tightened. Corresponding instructions have been issued to “advisors to directors for educational work,” who are being tasked with implementing specific methodological (propaganda) materials.

 

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

On April 3, Kyiv Oblast was under a missile and drone attack by the Russian Federation. As a result of the attack, as of 13:00, one person was killed and 8 people were injured. Due to damage to a veterinary clinic, about 20 animals died. The Obukhiv Raion, Bucha Raion, and Fastiv Raion were affected by the enemy strikes. Private houses, apartment buildings, vehicles, administrative buildings, and other facilities were damaged, the Regional Military Administration reported. Response efforts to eliminate the aftermath of the Russian attack are ongoing, and emergency services are working.

In Bucha Raion, one person was killed. Rescuers extinguished a car fire. In the village of Kriukivshchyna, the roof of a residential five-story building was damaged, Kyiv Oblast emergency services reported during the day.

In Fastiv Raion, fires broke out at a veterinary clinic, a nearby vehicle, and a private residential house. One person was injured.

In Obukhiv Raion, there was a strike on a residential apartment building. No casualties were reported.

After the Russian large-scale attack, DTEK reported the introduction of emergency power outages in Kyiv.

Kyiv will increase budget support for co-financing programs aimed at improving the energy resilience of residential buildings, the Kyiv City State Administration reported. This year, 113 applications totaling nearly UAH 400 million were submitted to the “70/30%” energy efficiency project competition for condominiums (OSBB) and housing cooperatives (ZhBK). Such projects enable buildings to increase their autonomy and reduce the risk of service disruptions during the winter.

In the village of Buzova in Bucha Raion, reconstruction of an apartment building on 17E Tsentralna Street is ongoing. This is a five-story, two-section building with a basement level. It will provide housing for about 144 people who lost their homes as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, the Kyiv Regional Military Administration reported.

A train car that was hit by a Russian Shahed drone has been brought to Kyiv. This carriage operated on the Chop–Lviv–Barvinkove route when, on January 26, Russia carried out a targeted drone attack, resulting in the deaths of six people.

 

Zhytomyr oblast

The enemy carried out a combined missile and drone strike on residential areas and civilian infrastructure in Zhytomyr Oblast, the Regional Military Administration reported. One person was killed, and rescuers managed to extricate four injured individuals from under the rubble. According to preliminary information, at least 15 residential buildings were damaged. As of 12:30, search and rescue operations, firefighting, and response efforts are ongoing.

Emergency power outages have been introduced in Zhytomyr Oblast.

On April 3, an evacuation train arrived in Berdychiv carrying 10 elderly people with disabilities from Donetsk Oblast. They were met by rescuers, medical personnel, local authorities, and volunteers from the Ukrainian Red Cross Society, the regional emergency service reported.

Nearly 72.9 thousand internally displaced persons reside in the oblast, according to the Department of Social Protection of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration. Among them are 16.4 thousand children, 4.1 thousand persons with disabilities, 15.1 thousand pensioners, and 107 large families.

Sumy oblast

Since early morning on 3 April, russian forces have been attacking the regional center of Sumy. Around 09:50am, one of the drones struck a shopping and entertainment center in the city centre. As a result of the UAV attacks, six people were injured, including a 17-year-old girl.

Artem Kobzar, Acting Mayor, said that later in the morning, two additional strikes were recorded in Sumy — in Kovpakivskyi district and in the central part of the city. Non-residential premises and vehicles were damaged.

In Shostka community, russian forces carried out guided aerial bomb strikes in the morning of 3 April. One of the bombs hit a multi-storey residential building, killing a 59-year-old woman. Three injured people were taken to hospital, including a 29-year-old woman in serious condition. In total, four guided bomb strikes were recorded. Private residential houses were also affected.

On 3 April, russian forces attacked a civilian vehicle in Velyka Pysarivka community, killing a civilian man.

The RMA reported that in Bilopillia community, an enemy drone struck a motor cultivator. One man was killed and another was injured.

Over the past day, one person was killed and four others were injured as a result of russian shelling across the oblast. In Shostka community, a 59-year-old woman was killed due to guided aerial bomb strikes. A 59-year-old man and women aged 29 and 38 were injured, along with another 65-year-old woman.

A 39-year-old woman also sought medical assistance after being injured during a drone attack on Hlukhiv community on the night of 2 April.

Between the morning of 2 April and the morning of 3 April, russian forces carried out more than 70 attacks on 35 settlements across 17 territorial communities. The highest number of attacks was recorded in Sumy and Shostka regions. The enemy used mortars, artillery, FPV drones, UAVs, and guided aerial bombs. Air raid alerts in the region lasted 21 hours and 50 minutes during the day.

Civilian infrastructure was damaged or destroyed, including:

  • In Shostka community: private houses, apartment buildings, vehicles, non-residential premises, and хозяйственные structures;
  • In the Sumy community: private and apartment buildings, vehicles, and outbuildings;
  • In the Hlukhiv community: a shop, private house, and хозяйственные buildings;
  • In the Bilopillia community: a private house was destroyed and an administrative building damaged.

During the day, 33 people were evacuated from border communities with the support of local authorities, emergency services, police, and volunteers.

On the night of April 2, russian attacks in Hlukhiv damaged residential buildings, destroyed хозяйственные structures, and hit infrastructure. During recovery efforts in the morning, another strike occurred. Additionally, cases of distribution of banknotes with russian QR codes were recorded in the city.

In March, russian forces carried out over 100 airstrikes on Sumy. A total of 28 civilians were injured. Over the month, 106 attacks on the Sumy community were recorded, including 94 UAV strikes and three guided bomb attacks. As a result, 55 private houses and 16 apartment buildings were damaged, and four homes were completely destroyed.

Next week, construction of a new anti-radiation shelter for 500 people will begin in Sumy. The shelter will be built in an area with several educational institutions and residential buildings.

Civilian infrastructure facilities have been damaged and destroyed:

  • In Shostka community, a private residential house and an outbuilding were destroyed; multi-storey residential buildings, private houses, vehicles, a non-residential premises, and an outbuilding were damaged;
  • In Sumy community, a private residential house, a multi-apartment residential building, an outbuilding, non-residential premises, and vehicles were damaged;
  • In Hlukhiv community, a shop premises, a private house, and an outbuilding were damaged;
  • In Bilopillia community, a private residential house was destroyed and an administrative building was damaged.

According to the City Military Administration, in March, the russian army carried out more than 100 air strikes on Sumy, injuring 28 civilians. Over the past month, 106 attacks on the territory of Sumy community were recorded, including 94 UAV attacks and three strikes using guided aerial bombs. As a result of the strikes, 28 people were injured. During this period, 55 private houses and 16 multi-apartment residential buildings were damaged, while four houses were completely destroyed.

Serhii Kryvosheienko, Head of Sumy City Military Administration, announced that next week, construction of a new anti-radiation shelter for 500 people will begin in Sumy. According to him, the shelter will be built in one of the city’s regions where several educational institutions and numerous private houses are located.

Chernihiv oblast

Oleksandr Seliverstov, Head of Novhorod-Siverskyi Regional Military Administration, reported that on the morning of 3 April, russian forces attacked a civilian Renault Magnum truck on Chernihiv–Hremiach highway near a border village. As a result of the strike, the truck sustained damage, including a shattered windscreen and side windows of the cab.

On the evening of 2 April, russian forces attacked the centre of Semenivka by an FPV drone. The strike damaged the roof of an operating grocery shop. Smoke was also observed at the impact site.

The City Council informed that another fatality has been confirmed following the russian ballistic missile strike on an enterprise in Chernihiv on 2 April. The number of injured has risen to three.

Viacheslav Chaus, Head of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, said that during 2 April, the russian army carried out 52 strikes across Chernihiv oblast. In villages of Semenivka community, FPV drone strikes caused fires in a house and dry grass. In Snovsk community, a Herbera UAV strike hit the territory of a local enterprise. UAV impacts were also recorded in villages of Mena and Horodnia communities, damaging a house and an outbuilding.

According to Chernihiv Border Guard Detachment, during the same day, russian forces attacked four border communities of Chernihiv oblast: Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, Horodnia and Snovsk. The enemy carried out mortar shelling (6 explosions), launched strikes using Herbera-type UAVs (4 explosions) and Molniia-type UAVs (1 explosion), conducted FPV drone attacks (19 explosions), and dropped explosive devices from UAVs (11 explosions). Fourteen settlements were under enemy fire.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

Mykola Lukashuk, Head of the Regional Council, said that during the night, a combined missile and drone strike targeted Pavlohrad. Infrastructure was damaged. The occupiers attacked the area using multiple launch rocket systems, artillery, and FPV drones, targeting the regional centre as well as Marhanets, Pokrovske rural, Chervonohryhorivka, and Myrove communities.

A multi-storey residential building, an outbuilding, an enterprise, and infrastructure were damaged. As a result of evening attacks, four multi-apartment and five private houses, six outbuildings, an administrative building, vehicles, and power lines were damaged. Zelendolsk community was struck by an FPV drone. Infrastructure was also damaged in Verkhnivtsiv community.

Eleven people were injured, including a child. Among the injured were a six-year-old girl, women aged 56, 23, and 51, and men aged 30, 24, 59, 41, 42, and 59. A 58-year-old man was hospitalised in a moderate condition.

Strikes targeted the regional centre, Myrove, Marhanets, Pokrovske rural, and Chervonohryhorivka communities. Fires broke out. Five multi-apartment and six private houses, a hospital, trading kiosks, a lorry, a minibus, two petrol stations, four vehicles, enterprises, an administrative building, a gas pipeline, and infrastructure were damaged. Zelendolsk community was shelled by artillery. The enemy also attacked Lykhivka and Bozhedarivka communities, causing a fire and damaging infrastructure.

Strikes were also recorded in Mohyliv and Solonianka communities. A 48-year-old man was injured, and a farm was damaged.

Vinnytsia oblast

The Regional Military Administration reported that in Vinnytsia oblast, private houses were damaged as a result of a russian combined attack during the night of 3 April. Windows in residential buildings were shattered by the blast wave.

Poltava oblast

The Regional Military Administration informed that in the morning, enemy UAV debris fell in Myrhorod and Poltava regions. One person was injured and hospitalised. Damage was recorded to private households and a farming enterprise.

In Poltava community, enemy UAV debris fell in an open area. The blast wave damaged windows in a multi-apartment residential building and a garage.

Cherkasy oblast

According to Ihor Taburets, Head of the Regional Military Administration, within Cherkasy oblast, one russian missile and 21 UAVs were neutralised.

In Cherkasy region, debris damaged a garage cooperative and two vehicles. The fire was promptly extinguished.

In Zvenyhorodka region, dry vegetation caught fire.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration reported that on 2 April, the occupiers carried out 856 strikes on 45 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast. russian forces conducted 18 airstrikes on Orikhiv, Preobrazhenka, Liubytske, Dolynka, Lisne, Omelnyk, Shyroke, Kopani, Rivne, Novoselivka, Barvinivka, Huliaipole, Dolynka, and Vozdvyzhivka. 503 UAVs of various modifications (mostly FPV) attacked Zaporizhzhia, Vilniansk, Kushuhum, Komyshuvakha, Novomykolaivka, Balabyne, Malokaterynivka, Bilenke, Dudnykove, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Pavlivka, Lukianivske, Mali Shcherbaky, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohirya, Myrne, Hirke, Zelene, Solodke, Varvarivka, Dobropillia, Pryluky, Tsvitkove, and Sviatopetrivka. There were six MLRS strikes on Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Charivne, Huliaipole, and Sviatopetrivka. 329 artillery strikes hit Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Pavlivka, Lukianivske, Mali Shcherbaky, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohiria, Zelene, Varvarivka, Dobropillia, Pryluky, Solodke, Huliaipole, and Sviatopetrivka. Sixty reports of damage to infrastructure, homes, and vehicles were received. Four people were injured as a result of enemy attacks on the regional center and Zaporizhzhia region.

The General Staff reported that as of 16:00 on 3 April, seven attacks occurred on positions of Ukrainian defenders in the areas of Dobropillia, Pryluky, Hirke, and Varvarivka towards Huliaipole. On 2 April, the previous day, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 40 russian attacks towards Huliaipole direction and 13 towards Orikhiv.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a training ground, an oil depot, ammunition and supply warehouses, and concentrations of russian troops in Zaporizhzhia oblast. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Defense Forces hit the Kulikovskyi training ground (Novopetrivka, temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia oblast) and an ammunition depot (Uspenivka, temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia oblast). Additionally, on the night of 3 April, Ukrainian Defense units struck supply warehouses in the areas of Chervone Pole and Zoriane on the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia oblast.

Mykolaiv oblast

According to Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, yesterday, 2 April, the enemy attacked Ochakiv community six times with FPV drones. There were no casualties.

Odesa oblast

Odesa Regional Military Administration reported another death following the 28 March attack on Odesa. Today, a 76-year-old man who suffered severe burns died in the hospital, bringing the total number of fatalities to four.

The press service of the “South” Air Command reported that during the russian attack on Odesa oblast on 2 April, air defense forces intercepted two Kh-31 anti-radiation missiles. Odesa RMA noted that the attack damaged a private property in Odesa region: a crater formed in the garden, and the fence was also damaged.

Kherson oblast

According to Kherson Regional Military Administration, 16 people were injured, and one person was killed in enemy attacks today, 3 April. Early in the morning, russian forces attacked a minibus in Dniprovskiy district of Kherson, injuring nine people. A 43-year-old woman suffered blast injuries, a concussion, and a head contusion due to a russian strike on a church in central Kherson. Three more people were injured in drone attacks in Dniprovskiy and Korabelnyi districts. One person was killed and another injured in an airstrike on Dniprovskiy district. Two people were injured in drone attacks on the village of Stiike in Velyka Oleksandrivka community. Three additional people sought medical attention for injuries sustained in previous attacks.

The Police of Kherson oblast reported that on 2 April, the russian army attacked Kherson, Kizomys, Sofiiivka, Zymivnyk, Sadove, Komyshany, Prydniprovske, Darivka, Stanislav, Chornobaivka, Berehove, Dniprovske, Beryslav, Novoraisk, Khreshchenivka, Zolota Balka, Novovoskresenske, Shevchenkivka, Kozatske, and Vesele. 39 sites were damaged: three apartment buildings, 13 private houses, a critical infrastructure facility, two police vehicles, 17 civilian cars, a veterinary station, and an auto workshop. One person was killed, and 19 were injured in the russian attacks, including three police officers and a teenager.

The RMA reported that the oblast will work to strengthen rehabilitation assistance in Volyn oblast together with the Rehabilitation in Ukraine (Rehab4U) project.

Zakarpattia oblast

Employees of Zakarpattia Emergency Service improved their skills in barrier-free communication and psychological resilience. The training for doctors was conducted by a specialist from the regional center of social services. Over 20 specialists from the Uzhhorod EMS station mastered the ethics of communication based on the principle of 1st the person, then his condition, learned to interact correctly with veterans and people with disabilities. Special attention was paid to psychological self-support: doctors practiced recovery techniques after difficult challenges and methods of combating professional burnout.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

The Military Unit A7030 of the 102nd Territorial Defense Brigade of Ivano-Frankivsk oblast received 3 unmanned ground robotic complexes Dodger with the Starlink satellite communication system worth over UAH 3.3m.

Lviv oblast

The King and Queen of Sweden attended a concert by Lviv National Philharmonic in Stockholm. Artists of the Lviv Philharmonic, together with musicians of the Royal Swedish Philharmonic Orchestra, opened the European Festival Ukrainian Spring.

Rivne oblast

47 families from Rivne oblast have already received loans under the government’s eOselia program since the beginning of the year. Among the recipients, the largest number are representatives of the Defense Forces, medics and teachers.

Ternopil oblast

53 new windows were installed in the pediatric department of City Hospital №2. They were damaged by the blast wave from a drone attack on 24 March, when an enemy drone hit a nearby administrative building. The children were in a shelter that day. There were no injuries. But the hospital was damaged – from the first to the 3rd floor, in the stairwells, in the departments and technical rooms. The work was partially financed by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).

Khmelnytskyi oblast

66 family members of the fallen Heroes of the Khmelnytskyi community received material assistance. The total amount of assistance is over UAH 1.6m.

Chernivtsi oblast

Representatives of the RMA held a working meeting with Yevhen Sviderskyi, Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of the Military Law Enforcement Service (MLES) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Dmytro Misyuk, Head of the Western Territorial Directorate of the MLES, and Serhii Durduk, Head of Chernivtsi Zonal Department of the MLES. They discussed needs of the MLES units, in particular those performing combat missions.

International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, had a phone conversation with Pope Leo XIV. They discussed the russian federation’s refusal to accept the proposal for a ceasefire for Easter, the negotiation process, and work with the American team.

The White House stated that Melania Trump has helped return children abducted by russia to Ukraine for the fourth time. The US First Lady brokered an agreement between russia and Ukraine to reunite 6 Ukrainian children with their families. Another child will also be returned to relatives later this month, the statement said.
