Here is operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 6pm:
Towards Volyn and Polissya, no significant changes have occured. Since the beginning of this month, citizens of the republic of belarus have been urged to sign contracts with russian private military companies. Military commissariats of the armed forces of belarus are actively engaged in this campaign.
Towards Siversk, the enemy continues to shell the positions of our troops in Sumy oblast and conduct aerial reconnaissance using UAVs.
Towards Kharkiv, the enemy struck Rtyshchivka and Verkhniy Saltov. There was artillery shelling in the areas of Cherkaski Tyshky, Chuhuiv, Kharkiv, Korobochkyne, Malynivka,Prudianka, Pytomnyk, Ruska Lozova, Rubizhne, Udy, and Zalyman.
By conducting assault actions, the enemy unsuccessfully tried to move towards Velyki Prokhody – Pytomnyk. There was also aerial reconnaissance conducted by using an unmanned aerial vehicle near Dementiivka, Rubizhne, Slatyne, and Zamulivka.
Towards Sloviansk, the enemy carried out artillery shelling in the areas of Dolyna, Bohorodychne, Husarivka, Velyka Komyshuvakha, Nortsivka, Virnopillia. There was aerial reconnaissance conducted near Dmytrivka and Virnopillia.
Towards Kramatorsk, the enemy carried out airstrikes on Serebrianka and Spirne. Artillery shelling was reported to occur near Hryhorivka, Ivano-Darivka and Siversk. An enemy UAV of the operational-tactical level operated near Rozdolivka and Hryhorivka.
Ukrainian soldiers repelled hostile assault actions towards the Lysychansk refinery – Ivano-Darivka. The enemy suffered losses and withdrew.
Towards Bakhmut, the enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of Vershyna, Bilohorivka, Kostiantynivka and Berestove. Artillery shelling was recorded near Bakhmut, Berestove, Vesele, Vyimka, Vershyna, Novoluhanske, Zaitseve, Soledar, Rozdolivka and Kurdiumivka.
Weak assaults of the occupiers towards Klynove – Vershtyna, Myronivka – the Vuhlehirsk TPP failed again.
Towards Avdiivka, Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia, the enemy carried out airstrikes at Krasnohorivka, Kamianka, Solodke and Novoandriivka to restrain actions of our troops. Artillery shelling was reported in the areas of Avdiivka, Bilohiria, Huliaipilske, Krasnohorivka, Mykilske, Novopil, Novoselivka Druha, Pisky, Stepnohirsk, Vuhledar, Zaliznychne, Zolota Nyva. To correct artillery fire, unmanned aerial vehicles of the operational-tactical level were used near Bilohiria, Mala Tokmachka and Shcherbakv.
Towards South Buh, artillery shelling was recorded in the areas of Bila Krynytsia, DobreKniazivka, Kotliareve, Luch, Nova Zoria, Olhyne, Pervomaiske, Potemkyne, Shyroke, Ternivka. The invaders unsuccessfully tried to conduct a counterattack towardss Sukhyi Stavok – Andriivka.
In the Black Sea and Azov seas, the enemy’s ships focus on blocking civilian navigation in the northwestern part of the Black Sea. Outside the bases are two carriers of cruise missiles.
Forcibly mobilized personnel, brought from the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions to replenish the enemy’s losses have their personal documents seized. This indicates complete lawlessness of these people and, allegedly, should stop desertion. It will also not allow identification of these persons in case of death, which paves the way for various financial frauds in favor of the command staff of the armed forces of the russian federation.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy says that he is quite healthy and feels as good as ever. This is a response to another russian fake about Zelenskyy’s allegedly serious condition, which was posted today through conducting a hacker attack on the radio “Melodiia”.
The invaders dragged at least 14 units of heavy military equipment with ammunition, weapons and explosives to the engine room of the 1st power unit of the Zaporizhzhia NPP. This is stated in the message of Energoatom. Experts warn that the situation at the station is very dangerous and call on the international community to take all possible measures to liberate the Ukrainian NPP from the enemy.
By the end of 2022, Ukraine’s economy will shrink by a third, predicts the National Bank. If the Black Sea ports are unblocked, it will return to growth in 2023-2024.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian troops shelled with barrel and rocket artillery settlements in Kharkiv oblast: Bazaliivka, Dementiivka, Korobochkyne, Mospanove, Pechenihy, Petrivka, Prudianka, Pytomnyk, Ruski Tyshky, Tsyrkuny and other.
According to the head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, the shelling of Kharkiv from Uragan multiple rocket launchers injured 23 people. Among them is 1 child. 4 of the injured are in serious condition. 3 people were killed. The shelling hit civilian objects – shopping malls, a residential building, a dentist’s office, a car and public transport.
During the day, rescuers made 32 operational visits, of which 8 times they extinguished fires caused by shelling in Bohodukhiv, Chuhuiv, Izium and Kyiv districts, Kharkiv. Private buildings and wheat fields were on fire.
The enemy shelled Bakhmut. Two private buildings were burnt. The fire was extinguished. The city’s central market also came under fire, resulting in several trading containers catching fire. Information on casualties is being verified.
Two schools in Kramatorsk and Kostiantynivka were destroyed as a result of overnight enemy shelling.
In Kramatorsk, the strike hit the private sector – a school was destroyed, a five-storey building and 85 private houses were damaged. State Emergency Service rescuers removed one body under the rubble. According to current information, there may be 2 more people under the rubble.
According to the head of Sloviansk City Military Administration, Vadym Liakh, the Russian troops shelled the Sloviansk community with multiple rocket launchers with cluster munitions. There are casualties.

On the Luhansk front, the region continues to hold the defence without change.
The enemy offensive near Bilohorivka was repelled. In this and other directions, the enemy is suffering significant losses. Verkhnokamianska suffered serious damage as a result of shelling – people’s houses were hit by the Russians with artillery, MLRS, and aviation.
In Sievierodonetsk, there are significant problems with water, even technical water. In Toretsk an enemy rocket landed in the yard of a private building.
The enemy is sending recently mobilized residents of the occupied settlements of Luhansk oblast into battle. Despite heavy artillery and missile pressure, the Armed Forces of Ukraine hold their positions.
There are currently 100K internally displaced people officially registered in Kyiv. The city government calls for the local businesses to support IDPs – accommodation and employment issues are of the highest priority. To provide the maximum support for this category of people a One-stop comprehensive consultation center is operating under VcentriHUB.
According to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, 75% of schools in Kyiv are ready for the safe start of a new school year.
Volunteers of Bucha territorial community went through tactical drills in combat simulating conditions. In particular, they trained to seize enemy BTRs, platoon strongpoints, etc. The training program is based on the Ukrainian army’s military reconnaissance model and incorporates the world’s best practices.
More than 35K internally displaced families currently reside in Zhytomyr oblast. This was reported by the Regional Military Administration. The call-center is still working for temporarily evacuated persons who suffered from the russian aggression.
Yesterday the firefighters of Zhytomyr oblast dealt with 3 cases of dry vegetation ignition and put one fire.
The russians fired at the Shalygine community with the “Hrad” MLRS. The premises of the Shalygine forestry were damaged, and 2 official cars were burned. A local resident was wounded by a fragment of enemy ammunition.
The Esman community was shelled 12 times by the enemy from barrel artillery, at noon – another 14 times. The occupiers shelled the Bilopillia community with mortars and “Hrad” MLRS. The russians opened fire on the Nova Sloboda community with MLRS.
The Ministry of Health of Ukraine reported that the British company Rolls-Royce will rebuild one of the dispensaries of the Sumy oblast. The cost of restoring the Khukhryansk dispensary is UAH 13M. Some of the funds were collected by Rolls-Royce employees.
In the border community of Chernihiv oblast, the police discovered a cache of ammunition left by the russian military. Everything found was removed, the ammunition will be transferred to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The State Emergency Service in Chernihiv oblast reported that demining of Chernihiv oblast continues – pyrotechnicians neutralized almost 35,000 munitions. Over the past day, underwater demining and pyrotechnic works teams of the State Emergency Service were involved in the disposal of explosive objects 18 times and removed 197 such objects.
According to the head of the Desna community, one-time assistance is offered to people whose housing was damaged due to the war. One-time financial assistance is provided in the amount of 20% of the average market price of damaged structures and is intended for the replacement of windows and entrance doors.
Number of killed people after a missile attack on July 14 in Vinnytsia increased to 26. Today, 20-year-old Olga Lysenko died in the hospital. Her body was covered with burns covering 98%
Residents and staff of the crisis center “House of Hope” charitable foundation in Vinnytsia have been baking and provided out poppy seed buns to our defenders since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. In total, 5K buns have been made since the beginning of the war.
Vinnytsia City Department of City Marketing and Tourism organized free rock climbing classes for internally displaced children. The goal is to involve internally displaced families in outdoor activities.
Every school and kindergarten of the Kalyniv community has its own vegetable garden – about 40 acres. Now they are actively preparing for winter – fermenting vegetables, freezing berries and fruits, drying herbs.
At night, the enemy shelled Nikopol area. 20 missiles hit Chervonogrigorivsk community. The head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional State administration Valentin Reznichenko informed that there are no victims and damage.
The head of the regional council, Mykola Lukashuk informed that russian military shelled area near piggery in Velikomykhailiv community, Synelnykiv district.

In Kropyvnytskyi there is a humanitarian center “Ya Mariupol”, which provides assistance to displaced persons. Almost 2K Mariupol residents have already been registered in the Kirovohrad region since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
In Kropyvnytskyi, they are organizing a charitable ethno-party “SHEPIT.KROP”. Collected funds will be used for the needs of Ukrainian defenders.
The mayor Serhiy Kuzmenkohe Oleksandriya City Council allocated 1.5 million UAH from the community budget for preparation of shelters.
In Poltava, instructors of the “Warrior” military sports center teach everyone who wants to learn basics of tactical medicine.
Volunteers from Poltava region sent about 150 kilograms of cookies, energy bars, tea and other products to our military in Donetsk region from the educational institution in the village of Butenka.
The first stage of training was conducted at the school in Cherkasy. There they taught how to assemble a machine gun and stop bleeding.

There were 28 reports of destruction of civilian infrastructure as a result of shelling by russian occupation forces in the Ternuvate, Zarichne, Mahdalynivka, Komyshuvaha, Mala Tokmachka, Dobropillia, Huliaipole. The russian occupiers fired seven S-300 missiles at Mykolaiv. They hit industrial enterprises, a gas station, a gas pipeline and a warehouse with humanitarian cargo. Three employees of one of the enterprises were injured.
Firefighters extinguished four fires in Mykolaiv oblast that ignited after shelling by the russian invaders. This is reported by the Department of Emergency Situations in Mykolaiv Oblast. The fires occurred in Mykolaiv and Bereznehuvate territorial communities.
The residents of Mykolaiv continue to provide the information about potential collaborators or correctors of the fire. According to the head of Mykolayiv RMA Vitaly Kim, 96 messages were received during the day.

The police of the Odesa oblast announced the exposure of employees of a recruitment and social support center in one of the districts of the region, who were deleting conscripts from the records for 12K dollars. One of the accused was detained and placed in a pre-trial detention center. The illegal business was organized by a citizen of the russian federation. The involvement of the Military Commissariat employees is being checked.
The ports of Izmail and Reni in Odesa oblast have become the main Ukrainian export “gateways” to European countries. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal. The center said that most often people apply for the procedure for obtaining the status of an IDP, financial assistance for living, restoration of lost documents in temporarily occupied territories, receiving compensation for housing destroyed by the war.

The occupation authorities have no opportunity to promptly restore the Antonivsky bridge after the attacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. 229 people arrived in Lviv from the places of hostilities by two evacuation trains. 787 people were sent to Przemysl by four trains.
“Warrior’s House” will open in Yavorov – a space for defenders, veterans, volunteers and their loved ones. It will be possible to communicate, share experiences, and also receive psychological or legal assistance.
The Lviv RMA reported that in the premises of the former psychiatric hospital of the village of Zaklad (Stryyskyi district), conditions will be arranged for the accommodation of 100 patients with mental disorders. Due to active hostilities, almost 400 patients need to be relocated.
7-year-old Romchyk Olesiv from Lviv, who was hit by an airstrike in Vinnytsia on July 14 with his mother, was evacuated to Germany. His mother Halyna died, and the child was seriously injured. Romchyk is awaiting a skin transplant and plastic surgery.

The wife of the President of Poland Agathi Kornhauser-Dudi handed over humanitarian aid for Khmelnytskyi – almost 16 tons of humanitarian cargo. These are food products, generators and other technical means.It will be distributed for the needs of internally displaced and war-affected persons.
IDPs living in the Novoseletsky community received help from the Bukovyna Community Development Agency – refrigerators and freezers. The equipment was provided as part of the EU-funded project to help displaced people.
The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen announced that the EU approved the seventh package of sanctions against russia. It provides for an embargo on import of russian gold, restrictions against sberbank and expansion of personal sanctions.
Defense Minister Anushauskas announced that Lithuania will transfer additional M113 and M577 armored personnel carriers and ammunition to Ukraine. Lithuania also offers to organize large-scale military training for the Armed Forces. The country is ready to train military policemen and sappers.
British Defense Minister Ben Wallace announced that Great Britain in the near future will hand over 20 M109 self-propelled guns, 36 105-mm L119 howitzers and 50K artillery shells to Ukraine. Counter-battery radars, hundreds of drones and 1.6K anti-tank shells will be supplied to Ukraine.
