The statement of the russian Ministry of Defense about the alleged death of Ukrainian soldiers, clearing the area and setting flags of Ukraine on the Zmiinyi (Snake) island, is miscommunication. All soldiers, who performed the tasks, returned home safely.

Towards Volyn and Polissia, there are no changes in the state and nature of warfare of the armed forces of the republic of belarus. The threat of missile and bomb attacks from the territory of this country remains.

Towards Siversk, to demonstrate its presence, the enemy fired artillery at Kindrativka, Myropillia and Vovkivka. In addition, there were airstrikes near Esmana and Myropillia.

Towards Sloboda region, the enemy continues maintaining seized positions and preventing the advance of units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine deep into the temporarily occupied territory. Tanks, barrel and rocket artillery were used to shell settlements of Kharkiv oblast along the contact line.

Our soldiers undermined all the enemy’s attempts to move towards Sosnivka. The assault was repulsed and the invaders retreated to previously occupied positions.

In the east of our country, the enemy is still trying to establish full control over Luhansk oblast.

Towards Sloviansk, the invaders again unsuccessfully stormed Bohorodychne trying to completely seize it. Our soldiers severely suppressed that attempt.

The enemy shelled the areas of Adamivka, Bohorodychne, Chervone, Dibrivne, Dolyna, Karnaukhivka, Krasnopillia, Mazanivka, Nikopol, Novopavlivka and Sulihivka with barrel and reactive artillery. Near the latter, assault and army aircraft was used for airstrikes.

Towards Kramatorsk, the enemy made unsuccessful attempts of assault actions near Hrihorivka and Verkhniokamianske.

Barrel and rocket artillery was used to shell the settlements of Maiaky, Hrihorivka, Serebrianka, Siversk, Verkhniokamianske, Zolotarivka and Zvanivka. There was an airstrike at Serebrianka area.

Towards Bakhmut, Ukrainian soldiers inflicted losses on the enemy forces when trying to improve their tactical position near Berestove and Vershyna. The enemy retreated in panic.

Bakhmut, Berestove, Bilohorivka, Ivanodarivka, Klynove, Kodema, Maiorsk, Niu York, Pokrovske, Spirne, Soledar, Vershyna, Vyimka and Yakovlivka were fired from barrel artillery and multiple launch rocket systems. The military aircraft was used near Shumy. The enemy gains a foothold on the outskirts of the settlement of Spirne.

The enemy continues to suffer significant losses of personnel, weapons and military equipment on the territory of Ukraine. According to available information, the command of the Central Military District of the russian Armed Forces is forced to withdraw units from the 35th separate motorized rifle brigade. Instead, it is trying to involve unmotivated units of the 74th separate motorized rifle brigade.

Forced mobilization in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk oblast is ongoing. Those mobilized have poor training and improper protective equipment. Currently, the units of the 2nd Army Corps of the 8th Combined Arms Army of the Armed Forces of the russian federation lack about 8K people.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called British Prime Minister Boris Johnson a “true friend of Ukraine” and expressed confidence that the UK’s policy towards Ukraine will not change. On July 7, Johnson announced his resignation and said he would remain as Prime Minister until a new Conservative Party leader and head of government was elected.

The EU approved Ukraine’s accession to the so-called “visa-free customs regime”. This decision will simplify customs formalities for Ukraine when preparing documents for goods transportation in 35 EU countries.

Ukrainian refugees who have received temporary protection status in the EU countries will be able to use Ukrainian driver’s licenses without exchanging it for the EU one. This decision was made by the European Parliament. Ukrainians who worked as bus or truck drivers will be able to confirm certificates of professional suitability in the EU.

The State Tourism Service reminded that traveling and moving around Ukraine is not currently prohibited, but there are certain rules. Everyone who plans routes within the country should take into account location of shelters, observe the curfew and exclude locations near critical infrastructure, military and strategic facilities and tourist points close to the borders with belarus and russia.

Eastern regions

Kharkiv oblast

The invaders shelled from tanks, mortar and rocket-propelled artillery settlements along the contact line in Kharkiv oblast during the day.

The invaders shelled Chuhuiv, Kharkiv oblast: 2 people were injured. An emergency medical aid team on its way to an injured woman in Chuhuiv district came under the russian fire. The doctors were not injured but were covered with dust.

The invaders shelled Nemyshlia district, Kharkiv. According to an update from the regional Emergency Medical Centre, 3 civilians were killed and 5 injured due to the russian shelling.

One of the missiles fired by the russian troops at Kharkiv hit an industrial area in Nemyshlia district. 2 men were injured and machinery was burned. Private residential buildings, garages with outbuildings, cars and lorries and belongings in the flat of an apartment building were on fire.

Enemy troops struck Kharkiv in the evening. Fires broke out from shelling with at least three clouds of smoke.

According to the village council, the situation with the occupation leadership in russia’s temporarily occupied Borova is “unclear”. Local traitors with dubious reputations are trying to run the village.

According to the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Siniehubov, russian invaders arrested Kupiansk mayor, Hennadiy Matsehora.

Donetsk oblast

1 person was killed and 6 injured in a rocket attack on Kramatorsk. The invaders hit a residential area with a rocket; at least 15 houses were damaged, including a hotel, and cars were burned out. The toll of casualties is being clarified. According to preliminary information, the russians fired the 9M723 Iskander-M rocket system at Kramatorsk.

Russian occupation forces again fired with MLRS at Sloviansk. According to preliminary information from the head of the Military Administration, Liakh, there are casualties.

Avdiivka was shelled more than 10 times, and there were casualties. Civilian infrastructure was hit, notably a hospital, residential areas, a vehicle depot and the Avdiivka Coke Plant.

Luhansk oblast

Russian invaders assigned a new “mayor” of the occupied Severodonetsk city. He is a former member of the Party of Regions and the so-called mayor of the occupied Brianka, Mykola Morhunov.

The invaders began transferring civilians from Lysychansk to filtration camps in the previously occupied Kadiivka. Rashists are trying to establish full control over the region and the Lysychansk-Bakhmut highway. There is currently no communication with the occupied Lysychansk.

Northern regions

Enemy activity near the borders of Chernihiv and Sumy oblasts is shown by air strikes and shelling of otroops’ positions, reports the General Staff. The enemy is ramping up its system of fire attacks. The number of strikes on the territory of Ukraine may increase in these directions in the near future.

Kyiv oblast

Investigators of the National Police announced the suspicion to the russian military looter who robbed the home of local residents in the temporarily occupied territory of Irpin. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine noted that the grounds for establishing his identity was a photo-selfie, which he accidentally left behind the scene. The victims and witnesses testified, and the investigators were able to fully collect the evidence base of the russian soldier’s involvement in the crime.

More than 49K explosive objects have already been neutralized in Kyiv oblast. During this time, EOD specialists inspected 96.06 hectares of territory in the settlements of Bucha, Brovary, Vyshhorod, and Fastiv regions and cleared 346 IEDs.

Kyiv City State Administration informed that the psychological hotline has received about 6000 calls since February 24. More than 80% of the calls had to do with the reaction to the hostilities – fears related to the war, increased anxiety and neurotic disorders, depression, sleep disorders, etc.

A monument celebrating the 300th anniversary of Ukraine’s reunification with russia was demolished in the city of Pereyaslav. According to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, the monument was dismantled by the decision of the community and the local government. Bucha, Irpin, Borodianka, Hostomel, Moshchun, and other settlements in Ukraine, where the russian army committed crimes against humanity, proved once again that any reunification or “friendship” withthe rashists is out of question.

Zhytomyr oblast

According to Vitaliy Bunechko, the head of Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, key issues discussed at the meeting with representatives of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs were the increase of UN aid to Zhytomyr oblast, creating and developing compact settlements for displaced people, medicine, and education in the oblast.

Since the end of February, Zhytomyr oblast has received more than 350 tons of humanitarian aid from the UN. More than 40K displaced people from the oblast have received additional assistance in the amount of about 350 million hryvnias within initiatives of the World Food Programme and the United Nations Children’s Fund.

Rescue teams continue to find booby traps in Narodytsky forests in Zhytomyr oblast. The State Emergency Service urges people to refrain from hiking in forest areas where enemy troops were stationed – berries and mushrooms are not worth your life and safety.

According to the State Border Guard Service, border guards of the Zhytomyr unit received 14 service breed dogs bred specifically for the needs of law enforcement officers. The sheepdogs were handed over by the private breeders of the Ukrainian Kennel Union. The four-legged friends are currently being assigned to border guard units, where they will have to adapt and train.

The workers of Zhytomyr Regional Museum of Local History are collecting items for a new exhibition: military uniforms, missile wreckage, parts of the OTR-21 Tochka tactical ballistic missile, mines, and ammunition. Volunteers, border guards, and rescue teams donate items left behind by russian invaders to the museum.

Sumy oblast

According to the General Staff, over the last week, the russians moved a battery of 152-mm “Hyacinth-B” SPH and a BM-21 “Grad” jet battery in the direction of the city of Shostka on the Sumy direction. In the future, an increase in artillery shelling of the positions of our troops and settlements in the border areas, as well as demonstration actions along the state border of Ukraine, is expected.

The invaders continue to shell Sumy from the russian territory. The enemy uses MLRS, UAVs, mortars and small arms. According to the SBGS, the Bilopillia, Khotyn Krasnopilial and Myropillia communities were under fire.

The operational-tactical group “Sumy” reported that the administrative building, the facade of the railway transport school and a private house were damaged due to shelling of the village of Iskryskivshchyna.

The regional military administration reports that 10 bridges and overpasses were damaged or blown up due to russian aggression in Sumy oblast. The restoration of infrastructure and provision of transport connections continues. Despite the danger, the bridge on the state road in the Lebedyn community is being restored.

UNICEF representatives, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, provided 583 laptops to teachers in Sumy oblast, whose institutions were damaged by the russia. aggression. Thanks to modern equipment, educators will be able to contact students and conduct classes remotely.

Chernihiv oblast

Gas station employees, who continued their work, risking their lives during the oblast occupation, received an official appreciation from the head of Chernihiv RMA Vyacheslav Chaus. Thanks to their patriotism and dedication, critical infrastructure enterprises of Chernihiv oblast were able to receive fuel.

Demining of Chernihiv Oblast continues. The State Emergency Service reported that pyrotechnic works at the Chernihiv “Yatsevo” city cemetery have been completed. Demining lasted 3 weeks.

During the day, pyrotechnicians were involved in disposal of explosive ordnance (EOs) 23 times and 224 such objects were removed. Since the beginning of warfare, 32 137 EOs have been neutralized.

According to the “North” operational command, two russian T-72 tanks were pulled out of the river on the territory of the Mensk community in Chernihiv oblast. The bodies of the crew members were found inside the tanks.

The head of Chernihiv RMA Vyacheslav Chaus says that before the full-scale invasion of the occupation forces, 280K residents lived in Chernihiv. At the end of March, about 70K people remained in the city, while today this number has already reached 200K.

After the region de-occupation, the authorities are trying to return the region to normal life as soon as possible. But preparation for the heating season and construction of fortifications are prioritized.

The Chernihiv city hospital 3, damaged by rocket and bomb attacks, is being repaired. Doors, premises of the X-ray diagnostic department and more than 100 windows were damaged. According to Chernihiv RMA, the total works cost is about 2 million hryvnias. The repair is planned to be completed by the end of July.

Central regions

Vinnytsia oblast

The possibility of offline learning in Vinnytsia schools from September 1 will be determined by a special commission at Vinnytsia regional administration. It is reported that 40% of schools and 20% of kindergartens in the region have completed shelter preparation.

An exhibition of unique medieval artifacts found during the Southern Medieval Expedition of the Institute of Archeology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, held every year since 2016 in Tiagyn, Kherson oblast, is opening in Vinnytsia. Before the full-scale russian invasion of Kherson oblast, the artifacts had been taken to an exhibition in Kyiv, which saved them.

Vita Dzyubenko from Vinnytsia collected almost 15 thousand hryvnias for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The woman has planted 500 lavender bushes and now she arranges photo sessions there. The payment is immediately transferred to the account of the volunteer organization “Molfar”.

On July 8, charity poetry readings by Kateryna Kalytko and Oleg Kadanov will take place in Vinnytsia. They will raise funds for the Armed Forces.

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

At night, russian troops shelled the villages of Velyka Kostromka and Marianske, Zelenodolsk community. Electricity supply lines were damaged in the village Maryanske. There are no victims.

The enemy shelled the Apostolovo community. The village Novosemenivka was under fire. 2 residential buildings and the power supply were damaged. A field caught on fire, about 5 hectares of stubble were destroyed. The fire was extinguished by rescuers. There are no victims.

Kryvyi Rih continues to receive internally displaced persons. Kryvyi Rih Military Administration informed that today, more than 130 internally displaced persons arrived to the city, 35 of them are internally displaced persons from the frontline village Anhargelsk, Kherson oblast.

Animators from Kharkiv visited one of the shelters for internally displaced people in Dnipro. An entertaining show with colorful pigeons was hosted for children.

Kirovohrad oblast

Training evacuations are being held in Kropyvnytskyi after rocket attack on Kremenchuk.

More than four thousand farms have started harvesting grain crops in Kirovohrad oblast.

Poltava oblast

According to the decision of Poltava city council, the memorial plaque to Ivan Paskevich, who was a russian military figure of Ukrainian origin, will be dismantled.

Families of killed people, as well as injured during the rocket attack on the mall “Amstor” in Kremenchuk, will be provided with financial assistance from the regional budget.

Poltava Regional State Administration informed residents about the fraud case. Criminals collect money on behalf of Poltava Regional Military Administration for the Armed Forces needs.

A fake document was published. The administration notified that they did not send such documents. The perpetrators will be held responsible.

Cherkasy oblast

Rosh Hashanah 2022 celebration in Uman is questionable since it is impossible to guarantee the safety of pilgrims.

Zaporizhzhia oblast

The enemy shelled Ukrainian defenders’ positions 44 times using tank gunnery, artillery, and MLRS along the entire contact line.

The occupiers shelled civilian infrastructure in the areas of Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Plavni, Preobrazhenka, and Tavriiske. There were 35 reports of destruction of civilian infrastructure as a result of shelling by russian occupation forces.

According to preliminary information, as a result of shelling in Stepnohirsk, one person died and another was seriously injured.

The Main Directorate of Intelligence does not rule out the possibility of offensive actions by the troops of the russian federation in the direction of Zaporizhzhia. There is also a possibility of detour in the direction of Velika Novosilka — Pokrovske in order to encircle Ukrainian units.

Mykolaiv oblast

The enemy concentrated its efforts on preventing the advance of units of the Defense Forces of Ukrain towards South Buh. The enemy fired mortars, tanks, barrel and rocket artillery in the areas of Blagodatne, Kotlyareve, Lymany, Prybuzke settlements.

A civilian was wounded in the Shyrokivska community, attacked by the occupiers. The enemy damaged one and a half dozen panels of the solar power plant there, the South Operational Command reports. In general, 18 people were injured in the region.

Two fires broke out in Mykolaiv Oblast due to shelling by russian troops. This was reported by the press service of emergency workers.

A russian intelligence group was eliminated in the course of a multi-stage special operation in Mykolaiv. The group was investigating the deployment and movement of units of the Armed Forces in the region. This is reported by the Office of the Security Service of Ukraine in Mykolaiv obllast. The suspects gathered intelligence on critical infrastructure and defense facilities in the Black Sea regions. State Security Services employees detained two active members of the intelligence group.

A humanitarian hub from the “Children of Ukraine” charity foundation opened in Novyi Bug. The fund provides assistance to families with children in Mykolaiv and Bashtanskyi districts of the region and expands the scope of assistance.

Odesa oblast

Special forces units completed the task of clearing Zmiinyi (Snake) Island. The operation to free Zmiinyi Island from the russian occupiers lasted for about two months. Destruction of about 30 units of enemy equipment was confirmed. The Ukrainian military installed the flag of Ukraine on the island.

The russian army attacked Odesa with missiles twice during the night. This was reported by the ´South’ Operational Command. As a result of the attack, two agricultural hangars were destroyed. About 35 tons of grain were stored in one of them.

During another airstrike on Odesa, 2 Kh-31 missiles were fired. One hit the tanker “Millennial Spirit” (Moldova flag), drifting in the territorial sea without a crew, with the remains of diesel fuel on board. The second missile self-destructed over the sea.

More than 2.5 million hryvnias were confiscated from a former deputy from the “Opposition Platform for Life” party for his collaborative activities in Odesa. The funds were transferred to the Agency for Search and Asset Management, the Prosecutor General’s Office reported.

Kherson oblast

The situation in the operational zone remains steadily tense. Its development and dynamics are under the control of the defense forces. The enemy continues the tactics of air and missile strikes. Plotnytske and Ivanivka tracts were attacked again in the morning.

In the area of Dobryanka, the enemy twice tried to get behind the Ukrainian defenders. In both cases, the enemy did not succeed.

Ukrainian rocket-artillery and aviation units attacked enemy strongholds, concentration points and warehouses in Mykolaiv and Kherson oblasts. Among the enemy’s confirmed losses are 38 occupants, 1 T-62 tank, 2 mortar complexes, 2 units of armored vehicles and 4 vehicles. The Armed Forces also destroyed 3 ammunition warehouses in Mykolaiv oblast and 1 warehouse in Kherson.

One person was killed as a result of a rocket attack on the city of Skadovsk. Several more people were injured, including a child. This was announced by the mayor of Skadovsk.

The Ukrainian intelligence reported that to hide the true toll of casualties, the occupiers regularly burn the bodies of killed soldiers. Places with a large number of charred remains of people were noticed on the outskirts of Kherson. It is difficult to identify the bodies due to significant fire damage.

The occupiers in Kherson oblast ban the work of entrepreneurs and all business entities that refuse to accept russian rubles. This is stated in the “order” of Pavel Filipchuk, the gauleiter of Kakhovka appointed by the invaders. Many entrepreneurs decided to simply close their shops, because they do not want to indicate rubles on the price tags.

The Kherson regional prosecutor’s office informed Volodymyr Leontyev, gauleiter of Nova Kakhovka, in absentia, about the suspicion of cruel treatment of civilian population. He is considered to be involved in the kidnapping of Oleh Baturin, a journalist of the Kherson regional newspaper “Noviy Den”.

The Anti-Disinformation Center reported that the attempts to block the Viber app in Kherson oblast were prevented. The application is again fully available to all users in Ukraine.

Western regions

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine says that the security situation towards Volyn and Polissia has not changed significantly, but a strict ban is imposed on citizens visiting forests in the north of Volyn oblast. The border with belarus is guarded. In case of provocations of the Armed Forces, the Territorial Defense and volunteer units are ready to take decisive actions.

Chernivtsi oblast

The II stage of the All-Ukrainian military-patriotic game “Jura” has started in Bukovyna. About 80 participants of older and middle age groups were fighting at the championship. These are young Bukovyna patriots who successfully passed the first qualifying round of the competition.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

In Ivano-Frankivsk RMA reported that the regional authorities established the award “Valor of Prykarpattia” for the assistance of the Armed Forces.

Lviv oblast

16 off-road vehicles and 6 firefighting modules for forest farms were transferred to the southern and eastern regions of Ukraine as part of the “1000 Freedom Cars” initiative. Lviv firefighters received important equipment from Polish foresters, who have been helping Ukraine since the first days of the full-scale war.

Lviv RMA reported that 4K internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Lviv oblast will receive support from the Binance Refugee Card. The assistance in the amount of $75 per month, paid for three months, is intended for mothers of minor children, large families, people with disabilities and the elderly.

A psychological support group was organized for children and adolescents currently living in the Center for Social Support of Orphans and Children Deprived of Parental Care and Internally Displaced Persons.

Rivne oblast

Mayor Oleksandr Tretyak reported that modular houses for displaced people will be installed in Rivne. They are already developing a project for their production. People were temporarily accommodated in the dormitories of educational institutions. When the new academic year starts, they have to be moved out.

Volyn

In the center of Lutsk, street painter Andrii Prysiazhniuk is updating a patriotic mural depicting the coat of arms, created in 2015.

Zakarpattia oblast

Head of Zakarpattia RMA Viktor Mykyta delivered a speech before the parliament of the federal state of Burgenland of the Republic of Austria. Head of the region talked about the war crimes of the russian occupiers and thanked the Austrian partners for their help in a difficult time. Issues of bilateral economic cooperation, investment projects and humanitarian assistance were discussed.

In Uzhhorod, local painter Kateryna Tuz is finishing painting the fourth patriotic mural on the fence of the “Avangard” stadium. Near the girl who symbolizes Ukraine, the inscription “I am Ukraine” will be placed.

Bulgaria offers Ukraine assistance in grain transportation and storage.

Bulgaria froze a money transfer from russia to its embassy in Sofia, intended for payment of salaries. According to Bulgarian Finance Minister Asen Vasilev, the decision was made in accordance with the European Union sanctions.
