It has been the 642 th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm:   

During the day, 79 combat clashes took place. The enemy launched 1 missile and 3 air strikes, carried out 13 attacks from rocket salvo systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas. As a result of the Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are wounded among the civilian population. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

The operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains difficult.

On the Volyn and Poliske directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly. There were no signs of the formation of offensive groups. Certain units of the Armed Forces of Belarus perform tasks in the areas bordering Ukraine.

In the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts sabotage and intelligence activities, attacks populated areas from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border of Ukraine. About 15 settlements were hit by artillery and mortar attacks, among them Popivka, Chernihiv region; Volodymyrivka, Veselovka, Stepok, Sumy Region; Staritsa, Tyche, Stroivka, Kharkiv region.

In the Kupyan direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assaults in the Sinkivka and Petropavlivka districts of the Kharkiv region, where the Defense Forces repelled 3 attacks. He carried out an airstrike in the area of Stepova-Novoselyvka settlement of Kharkiv region. About 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, in particular, Synkivka, Ivanivka, Kislivka, Kotlyarivka, Tabaivka, Krokhmalne of the Kharkiv region.

In the Lymansky direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assaults in the areas of Stelmakhivka, Serebryansk Forestry of Luhansk Oblast and Terny, Yampolivka, Torsky of Donetsk Oblast. Here, our soldiers repelled 12 attacks. More than 10 settlements were affected by enemy artillery and mortar shelling, among them Bilogorivka of Luhansk region and Torske, Dibrova, Verkhnyokamianske, Spirne, Pereizne of Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 26 enemy attacks near Bohdanivka, Ivanovsky, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka, Donetsk region. About 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, in particular, Markove, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, Andriivka and New York of the Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assaults east of Novobakhmutivka, northeast of Berdychiv, Avdiivka, Opytny, Severny, and south of Tonenko of the Donetsk region, where the Defense Forces repulsed 21 attacks. About 15 settlements, including Keramik, Avdiivka, Orlivka, Tonenke, Severne, and Pervomaiske of the Donetsk region, were hit by artillery and mortar attacks.

In the Maryinsk direction, the enemy, with the support of aviation, conducted unsuccessful assaults in the areas of Maryinka and Novomykhailivka of the Donetsk region, where our soldiers repelled 9 attacks. About 10 settlements of the Donetsk region came under the artillery and mortar fire of the occupiers, among them Krasnohorivka, Kurakhivka, Maryinka, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka.

The enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions in the Shakhtarsky direction. Shelled about 10 settlements with artillery and mortars, in particular, Vodyane, Vugledar, Prechistivka, Zolota Niva, Urozhane of the Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy unsuccessfully tried twice to restore the lost position near Robotiny, Zaporizhzhia region. More than 25 settlements, including Verbove, Mali Shcherbaki, Pyatikhatky, Kamianske, Stepnogrisk, and Plavni of the Zaporizhia region, were hit by artillery and mortar attacks.

In the direction of Kherson, the enemy shelled the city of Kherson with artillery.

The defense forces will continue to hold positions on the left bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region. They continue to inflict fire damage on the occupiers.

Units of the missile forces inflicted damage on the areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment of the enemy.

At night, for the fifth time in a month, Russia shelled one of the front-line thermal power plants of DTEK. As a result of the shelling, residents of one of the settlements near the station found themselves without electricity. The company’s equipment was seriously damaged. After the end of the shelling, the energy industry began to eliminate their consequences and is making every effort to restore the power supply as soon as possible. This was reported to DTEK.

the Russian Federation activated a network of spies in Ukraine, in particular in the SBU. The goal of Russian agents is to drive a wedge between the political and military leadership of Ukraine, as well as to incite anti-government sentiment among the population. Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, announced this.

“Scythian gold” returned to Ukraine. Artifacts from four Crimean museums were on display in the Netherlands when the Russian Federation occupied the peninsula. Ukraine has been suing for their return for almost ten years. Museums in the occupied Crimea, on the balance sheet of which exhibits were previously stored, lost the court process. The exhibits will be kept in the National Museum of the History of Ukraine until the deoccupation of Crimea. This was reported in the museum.

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Kharkiv oblast

Примусову евакуацію дітей з частини Куп’янського району завершили, – повідомили у поліції Харківщини. З 10 населених пунктів з 3 по 26 листопада вивезли 296 дітей. Де перебувають ще дві дитини – з’ясовують.

Yesterday the enemy shelled at least 9 settlements in the region. According to Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Kozacha Lopan and Hraniv of Kharkiv region, Budarky of Chuhuiv region, Kamianka, Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, Berestove of Kupiansk region were under hostile attacks.

Fighting ia ongoing towards Kupiansk. Yesterday our defenders repelled 7 enemy attacks near Synkivka. The enemy is making no progress.

Staryi Saltiv community is one of the most heavily damaged as a result of hostilities, with about 50% of its infrastructure destroyed or damaged.

Donetsk oblast

Yesterday russians injured 1 civilian in Toretsk.

According to Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Krasnohorivka, Novomykhailivka and Kostiantynivka of Marinka community were shelled towards Donetsk. An industrial area was hit in Kurakhove. Kurakhivka and Hirnyk were shelled.

Towards Horlivka, 1 person was injured, 10 buildings, 5 administrative buildings and 2 infrastructure facilities were damaged in Toretsk A private building and 2 non-residential buildings were damaged in Chasiv Yar community. In Soledar community, Rozdolivka, Vasiukivka and Minkivka were shelled.

Towards Lysychansk, Serebrianka of Siversk community, Torske and Zarichne of Lyman community were targeted.

Four people have been evacuated from Avdiivka but 1,336 people still remain. According to Vitalii Barabash, Head of Avdiivka City Military Administration, the townspeople have a problem with drinking water but there is enough food for several months.

Employees of Donetsk State Emergency Service found and removed an unexploded russian KAB-500 bomb from the basement of a damaged house in Toretsk and it will be destroyed at a special site. Yesterday russian troops launched three air strikes on the city. As a result, a 60-year-old man was injured and hospitalised. The explosions also damaged residential buildings, a medical facility and a shop.

State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported that in Selydove, the dismantling of the emergency structures of an apartment building attacked by russian army on 15 November has been completed as more than 60 tonnes of rubble have been removed. The invaders attacked Selydove with four S-300 missiles, killing four people, damaging 16 private residential and 6 apartment buildings, partially destroying 1 four-storey building and completely destroying 1 private household.

Oleksii Yukov, Head of the Platsdarm search team, said that searchers have removed more than fifteen bodies of fallen soldiers near Bakhmut. They are numbering the bodies, examining the clothes of the deceased and looking for documents. There are russian soldiers among the dead as this is indicated by personal belongings, like: russian rubles, chevrons, military IDs, icons.

Luhansk oblast

The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled enemy attacks in Serebrianka forestry and Novoselivske.  According to Luhansk Regional Military Administration, the enemy had not been bothering this area in Svatove region for the past few days but yesterday they resumed their attacks. Also russians did not use aircraft in Luhansk oblast as they had been attacking neighbouring areas. However, the enemy targeted Nevske and Bilohorivka with artillery.

Preparations for the elections began in Novopskov. In order to increase the rating of the winner, the invaders are trying to increase the percentage of the population that has received russian passports. They are going door to door, checking the documents of residents. If they do not open them, the house may be on the list for looting or accomodation for russians. In Lysychansk and Sievierodonetsk, despite the enemy statements about the alleged return of the townspeople, the number of broken-in apartments there is only increasing. There are those that have been looted several times.

Due to the bad weather, almost all of the so-called “luhansk people’s republic” is experiencing significant interruptions in mobile communications. In the cities occupied last year, there is a very large number of fires in both, private sector and apartment buildings, as the electrical wiring cannot withstand additional loads due to the lack of centralised heating. Luhansk is the only city in the occupied part of the region where civilians can receive more or less high-quality medical assistance.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

According to Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, as a result of the most massive drone attack on Kyiv on the night of November 25, the Patriarchal Cathedral of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ and the residence of Bishop Sviatoslav were damaged. The cathedral’s grounds were also the site of a large number of fragments of various sizes from an enemy drone. A high-rise building near the church suffered more damage.

Věra Jourová, Vice-President of the European Commission for Values and Transparency, arrived in Kyiv. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal met with her to discuss Ukraine’s European integration reforms. They also discussed the issue of the aggressor’s responsibility for crimes in Ukraine.

Ruslan Kravchenko, Head of the Kyiv RMA, reported that a modern dual-purpose shelter was opened on the territory of Lyceum No. 1 in Ukrainka. This is a barrier-free and accessible environment for 600 people. The room is equipped with heavy-duty forced ventilation, has a backup power supply and automatic door opening during an alarm. During air raid alerts, it will be used to protect the public, while at other times children will be able to play sports in the room.

The head of the Ukrainian government congratulated the European Investment Bank on the opening of its regional office for Eastern Europe in Kyiv. This took place during a meeting between Denys Shmyhal, the Prime Minister of Ukraine, and Werner Hoyer, the President of the European Investment Bank. They discussed current and new recovery projects.

According to the U-LEAD with Europe Programme’s website, Tilman Nagel, Regional Director of the German governmental company Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), and Bastian Veigel, Director of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme, visited Irpin, which is currently recovering from the russian occupation.  

Kyiv RMA reported that in Bucha, a training was held for school principals. Experts from the Israeli Trauma Coalition (ITC) taught educators how to provide psychological assistance in crisis situations. The foreign colleagues shared their experience of how to manage subordinates, give orders and what to look for in order to stabilise the situation during emergencies.

On November 26, the Ukrainian Women’s Guard held a regular Self-defence for women training course in Kyiv. The course is conducted by an incredible trainer Viktor Kraievskyi. The event was organised with the support of the European University.

Zhytomyr oblast

Vitaliy Bunechko, Head of Zhytomyr RMA, more than half of the facilities damaged by russian aggression in Zhytomyr Oblast have been restored. The oblast suffered 116 rocket and bomb attacks, resulting in the destruction of 4,700 houses and buildings. 2,800 facilities have been fully restored.

According to Zhytomyr RMA, Tymur Tkachenko, Deputy Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine, was on a working visit to the oblast last week. His visit was dedicated to the status of implementation of storage facility repair and construction projects in Zhytomyr obast. In 2023, more than UAH 300 million was allocated for the implementation of 125 projects in the oblast – money from regional and local budgets, state subventions and assistance from international donors.

A well-known chess player, Artem Sachuk from Zhytomyr, who voluntarily joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the first days of the full-scale invasion, was killed in the war against the russian invaders. Artem Sachuk is the vice president of the Ukrainian Chess Federation, a candidate for master of sports, and the organiser of many national and international competitions.

Sumy oblast

According to the Sumy RMA, the russian military fired mortars at the Krasnopillia community. 

The enemy fired 14 times at the border areas and settlements of Sumy oblast. There were 142 attacks from mortars, artillery, and grenade launchers, the dropping of explosive ordnance from UAVs, and aerial attacks from a helicopter with missiles. Khotin, Myropil, Yunakivka, Bilopillia, Velyka Pysarivka and Seredyna-Buda communities were shelled.

The Sumy RMA reported that 1,048 residents of Sumy Oblast received compensation for their homes damaged in the hostilities. Thanks to the state programme eRestoration, applicants received a total of over UAH 83 million in compensation for damaged property.

The Coordination Centre for Civilian Support at the Sumy RMA cooperates with more than 30 international and Ukrainian charitable organisations. It was opened in May 2023 to care for war-affected people and take care of the mental health of citizens.

According to the Sumy RMA, due to the bad weather, 56 civil protection headquarters are working around the clock in Sumy Oblast and 510 invincibility centres have been deployed to help the population. All roads in the oblast are passable, and electrician crews are restoring power supply.

Chernihiv oblast

According to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, russians shelled the border of Chernihiv Oblast 7 times. There were 86 explosions: Novhorod-Siverskyi community – 5 attacks with cannon artillery towards the village of Mykhalchyna Sloboda; Semenivka community – 22 attacks with cannon artillery and 120 mm mortars towards the villages of Semenivka, Zaliznyi Mist and Hremiachka; Snovsk community – 59 mortar attacks towards the villages of Kliusy and Yeline.

Viacheslav Chaus, head of the RMA, reported that the enemy fired 35 times at 18 border settlements in Chernihiv Oblast, with 335 explosions. During this period, the enemy conducted 3 air strikes using a helicopter and launched 16 missiles. The Defence Forces also shot down 2 Shahed UAVs in the oblast.

In Chernihiv Oblast, 5 pyrotechnic teams consisting of 44 personnel and 6 pieces of equipment are performing their assigned tasks. Since the beginning of the full-scale military invasion of russia, sappers have responded to 5,140 calls, removed 52,321 explosive items, and surveyed over 40,000 hectares of territory.

According to the Chernihiv City Council, as part of the DECIDE initiative School Budget for Children’s Dreams, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation will provide UAH 60 million to Chernihiv for the reconstruction of schools. UAH 40 million will be used to rebuild school No. 13, which will provide access to education for children from the Podusivka neighbourhood, where two schools were destroyed by the russian invaders.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

In the evening the enemy shelled Marhanets community of Nikopol district with artillery. There were no casualties.

During the day the occupiers attacked the district 6 times. They hit Nikopol and Marhanets community. About 25 shells were fired. A 51-year-old woman was injured in Nikopol. She was provided with all necessary medical assistance. Now she is in satisfactory condition. As a result of shelling an administrative building, an educational institution, a fitness club, a religious institution, 7 high-rise buildings, 14 private residential buildings, 12 farm buildings were damaged, another one was completely destroyed. 2 cars, 2 power lines and gas pipelines and fences were damaged.

Serhii Lysak, Head of RMA announced that 150 gas heaters were sent to Nikopol, Synelnyk and Kryvyi Rih districts, which suffered the most from russian shelling. Some will be installed in Invincibility Points and shelters, others – in hospitals and schools. Equipment will be sent to IDPs and large families.

Vinnytsia oblast

Volunteers prepare condensed milk for the defenders in Berezhany village of Kalyniv community. Housewives gather in the  cultural center quarter. Entrepreneurs bring them milk and sugar. Cans, lids, products – locals. After preparing the condensed milk it is rolled into half-liter cans and sent to the front line together with the products.

Kirovohrad oblast

Kirovohrad region paid tribute to Mykhailo Kharchenko from Pantaiv community who was killed in action on November 20 near Pervomaiske, Donetsk oblast and Ivan Yarmolayev from Velyko Andrusiv community who was on November 15 in a battle under Toretskyi, Donetsk oblast.

Poltava oblast

73-year-old Ivan Danylevskyi from Poltava has been volunteering since 2014. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion he has been traveling to the front every week. He mainly delivers food and essential items for the military and delivers medicine to the hospital.

Cherkasy oblast

RMA reported that there are 34 Points of Invincibility from the State Service for Emergency Situations operating in Cherkasy Oblast.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

The occupiers conducted unsuccessful storming actions west of Verbove towards Zaporizhzhia. This was reported by the General Staff. 

Yesterday, the enemy shelled 97 times 20 settlements of Zaporizhzhia oblast. There were  84 artillery shelling incidents in Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Robotyne, Levadne, Novodanylivka, Poltavka, Luhivske, Malynivka, Stepnohirsk, Kamianske, Piatyhatky, Plavni, and other front-line cities and villages. The enemy carried out 4 MLRS (Multiple Launch Rocket System) shelling at Mala Tokmachka and Temyrivka, as well as 9 UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) attacks on Huliaipole, Novodarivka, Charivne, Mali Shcherbaky, Kamianske, and Iurkivka. A residential building and citizens’ cars were damaged.

The resistance forces detonated a car belonging to russian military personnel in the temporarily occupied town of Myrne in Melitopol region. This was reported by the mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov.

On Sunday, November 26, the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant lost connection with the main power transmission line and used reserve power supply to cool the reactor. According to the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency), the Zaporizhzhia NPP reported that a short circuit occurred approximately 100 km north of the station, leading to a break in communication with the power transmission line around 10:30 local time. The station continues to receive external power supply from the single reserve power transmission line. The Zaporizhzhia NPP also stated that repair work is underway to restore the main power line.

IAEA experts present at the Zaporizhzhia NPP heard several rockets that seemed to be launched near the station. The IAEA team did not observe the projectiles due to clouds, but the characteristic sound indicated that they were launched from a multiple rocket launcher system.

Mykolaiv oblast

Yesterday, on November 26, at 15:04, the enemy launched artillery strikes on the waters of Kutsurub community. There were no casualties reported. This information was provided by the chief of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitalii Kim.

Mykolaiv, in collaboration with its partners, continues to work on economic development and project planning for recovery. In particular, there is ongoing cooperation with the European Union and the United Nations Development Programme as part of the “Mayors for Economic Growth” initiative. The city has gained new opportunities that will help address the challenges of rapid economic recovery after the war and build a better and “green” future, taking into account gender, inclusive, and innovative aspects of urban planning. This was announced by the Mayor of Mykolaiv, Oleksandr Senkevych.

Odesa oblast

The European Union will allocate 50 million euros to Ukraine to restore the port infrastructure damaged by the russian military. Europe and the entire world are interested in the operation of Black Sea ports and maritime trade corridors, despite russia’s attempts to destroy them. This was announced by the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.

There are difficulties in handling cargo in maritime ports due to challenging weather conditions in Odesa oblast. The clearing of terminal areas is ongoing, and the restoration of power supply is expected in the Port of Odesa. The Port of Chornomorsk is experiencing complications in unloading due to power supply disruptions and weather conditions. However, cargo is still being processed. Cargo handling is also taking place at the Port of Pivdennyi. The clearing of access roads and territories is underway, but there are interruptions in power supply. In the Port of Izmail, cargo handling has resumed, but the delivery of goods is challenging.

Thousands of people have ventured onto the roads of the Odesa region despite warnings about the weather, and they have been trapped in a snow trap for the second day. To reach these people, the authorities of Odesa oblast are forced to deploy heavy machinery, including armored personnel carriers (BTRs). However, in some areas, even such equipment is unable to reach the snowdrifts due to blocked roads by trucks and a snow height of about two meters.

Kherson oblast

During the past day (from 7:00 to 7:00), the enemy continued terrorizing the front-line regions using aviation. The enemy directed 10 guided aircraft bombs of various power at Krynyky in Kherson oblast. The russian army dropped 5 fragmentation munitions using UAVs of different modifications at the communities located along the coast in the right bank of Kherson oblast. Kherson was shelled 5 times in yestterday. As a result of the enemy’s criminal actions, one civilian was wounded, a medical facility and an administrative building were damaged, as well as private residential houses, 3 multi-story buildings, and civilian vehicles.

The Institute for the Study of War reports that russian forces complain about the vulnerability of russian Ground Lines of Communication (GLOC) on the left bank of the Dnipro River in Kherson oblast. Previously, ISW reported that russian military bloggers had repeatedly complained about the situation of troops near Krynyky, suffering from issues such as insufficient fire support, coordination of units, electronic warfare (EW), counter-battery warfare, and air defense.

As part of the Shoulder to Shoulder initiative, 829 families from 26 settlements affected by russian aggression in the region have already received new housing. Currently, about 350 specialists from 15 regions of the country are replacing windows, covering roofs damaged by debris, and repairing walls in 339 homes.

Residents of Kherson oblast continue to be supplied with fuel materials, prioritizing vulnerable population groups. 30 households in Khrystynivka community have already received solid fuel. Assistance continues to be delivered according to the schedule to all communities in the region.

A mobile outpatient clinic is operating in Kherson oblast. Currently, it provides medical assistance to residents of Petropavlivka, Chervone, Novooleksandrivka, Ukrainka, Biliaivka, Novohryhorivka, Novokamianka, Sukhanove, and Chervonyi Iar. Specialized doctors are seeing patients, conducting laboratory and instrumental examinations, prescribing treatment, and providing necessary medications free of charge. Special attention is given to supporting elderly people and those with disabilities.

Stanislav community received a power transformer, cable, pump, and frequency converter with the support of the charitable foundation “Ranok Vidrodzhennia” (Morning of Revival). This equipment will ensure water supply from artesian wells.

Latest news for today in the western regions of Ukraine

Volyn oblast

In two weeks, from November 13 to 26, 2023, 82 IDPs arrived in Volyn. In total, since the beginning of the full-scale rRussian invasion, 78 953 people have come to the oblast in search of shelter. Currently, 48 179 displaced persons have the status of IDPs. This amounts to 34 706 families, in which 13 632 are children.

Zakarpattia oblast

Two artistic events took place in Uzhhorod, which had a charitable purpose. Funds collected during performances will be donated to Zakarpattia Military Support Movement to help the defenders.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

A new shelter for IDPs has opened on the basis of the communal premises of Voyniliv Community. There are nine rooms for 28 people, which will provide home comfort and comfortable conditions. The shelter was opened thanks to the MOVEUKRAINE CF, the Rokada C, the International Organization for Migration and the “Despro public organization.

Lviv oblast

The strategy for the development of multidisciplinary rehabilitation in Ukraine was discussed in Lviv oblast during the national congress. The event gathered over 400 participants – representatives of medical associations, authorities and medical institutions.

In 2024, Lviv RMA will continue cooperation with Ukrainian-Swiss projects in the field of mental health. Cooperation will be implemented in the field of education, health care and social protection.

Ukrzaliznytsia and the US Agency for International Development signed a memorandum on deepening the European integration of Ukrainian railways. In particular, on the section from Mostysk to Lviv, it is planned to build a Euro track with a width of 1 435 mm.

Rivne oblast

Rescuers of Rivne oblast received dosimeters from Poland. 16 individual radiation dosimeters and a mercury analyzer worth a total of EUR 25 will help rescuers of Rivne oblast respond promptly to emergency situations.

Ternopil oblast

The RMA held a meeting with Oleh Shemchuk, newly appointed head of the West Military Training Center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They discussed equipment, material support and other urgent needs of territorial defense brigades.

In 2023, Ternopil City Council announced purchases for the military at an expected cost of over UAH 81,4 mln, or 79,6% of all announced purchases. In particular, these are laptops, computers, televisions, starlinks, antennas and other office equipment, cables, car parts and tires, tables and chairs, Eurocubes, washing machines and freezers, rain showers, lanterns, portable power plants, film and mesh, laser pointers, thermal imagers, fuel and lubricants, clothing sets, etc.

The opening meeting of the IAEA, chaired by Rafael Mariano Grossi, IAEA Director General, marked the opening of measures to support the psychological health of nuclear power plant personnel. Petro Kotin, Acting President of the State Enterprise Enerhoatom, Oleh Korikov, Head of the State Atomic Energy Regulatory Commission, and representatives of the NPP of Ukraine joined the meeting online.

The intelligence review of the British Ministry of Defense for November 27 stated that over the past six weeks, the losses of russian occupation forces are the highest since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. According to the agency, these losses of the russian occupiers are result of the offensive on Avdiivka, Donetsk oblast.

The United States Agency for International Development will help Ukrzaliznytsia modernize the section from Mostyska station, which is located on the border with Poland, to Lviv (Sknyliv). The agency will also promote the further integration of Ukrainian railways into the TEN-T system. The relevant memorandum was signed by the parties on November 24, 2023.

This week, 24 patients were evacuated to Austria, Germany, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland and Spain. The group of evacuees includes patients with injuries, in particular from Ivano-Frankivsk and Zaporizhzhia. The group also includes an injured woman who was injured along with her family as a result of a rocket attack. Her child was also injured, her husband killed. Another 21 patients were evacuated this week to Latvia for treatment and rehabilitation under the country’s government program.

The National Museum of the History of Ukraine reported that after almost 10 years of trials, artifacts from four museums of Crimea, which were presented at the Crimea: Gold and Secrets of the Black Sea exhibition in Amsterdam, returned to Ukraine.

The Holodomor – the soviet Genocide of the Ukrainian People exhibition opened in Budapest. It was organized by the National Museum of the Holodomor-Genocide in cooperation with the Committee of National Remembrance of Hungary and with the assistance of the Embassy of Ukraine in Hungary.
