It has been the 747th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm:   

The enemy continues to wage a war of aggression. Despite significant losses, it does not abandon its plans for the complete occupation of Ukraine, ignores the laws and customs of war, uses terror tactics, launches strikes, and attacks both military and civilian targets. The enemy is actively using aircraft and FPV quadcopters, conducting assault operations with the support of armoured vehicles.

The operational situation in eastern and southern Ukraine remains difficult.

During the day of 11 March, ttere were 53 combat clashes.

The enemy launched a total of 6 missile and 87 air strikes, carried out 32 MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements. Unfortunately, russian terrorist attacks resulted in wounded civilians. Residential private and apartment buildings, as well as other infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

Towards Volyn and Polissia, there were no significant changes. No signs of formation of an offensive group were noticed. Certain units of the armed forces of belarus continue their missions in the areas bordering Ukraine.

Towards Siversk and Sloboda, the russian army maintains its military presence in the areas of russia bordering Ukraine. The enemy continues its sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shelling Ukrainian settlements from the territory of russia and increases the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine. The adversary launched an airstrike in the vicinity of Prohres (Chernihiv oblast). More than 30 settlements came under enemy artillery and mortar fire, including Klyusy, Kostobobriv, Huta-Studenetska (Chernihiv oblast), Katerynivka, Myropillya, Seredyna-Buda (Sumy oblast), Udy, Strilecha, and Starytsia (Kharkiv oblast).

Towards Kupiansk, the enemy conducted no offensives. The occupiers launched air strikes in the vicinities of Petropavlivka (Kharkiv oblast) and Kryvoshyivka (Luhansk oblast). The invaders fired artillery and mortars at more than 15 settlements, including Synkivka, Petropavlivka, and Berestove (Kharkiv oblast).

Towards Lyman, the Ukrainian defenders repelled 7 assaults near Terny (Donetsk oblast) and Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), where the adversary, with air support, made attempts to breach Ukrainian defense. The adversary launched air strikes in the vicinities of Yampolivka and Fedorivka (Donetsk oblast). The enemy fired artillery and mortars at around 15 settlements, including Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Terny, Yampolivka, Spirne, and Rozdolivka (Donetsk oblast).

Towards Bakhmut, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 5 attacks in the vicinities of Klishchiivka, Andriivka, Stupochky and east of Chasiv Yar (Donetsk oblast), where the occupiers made attempts to improve their tactical situation. The enemy launched air strikes in the vicinity of Chasiv Yar (Donetsk oblast). Around 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Hryhorivka, Kalynivka, and Klishchiivka (Donetsk oblast).

Towards Avdiivka, the Ukrainian defenders repelled 11 attacks in the vicinities of Berdychi, Orlivka, Tonenke, Pervomaiske and Nevelske (Donetsk oblast). The enemy launched airstrikes in the vicinities of Novokalynove, Novobakhmutivka, Zavitne, and Oleksandropil (Donetsk oblast). The invaders fired artillery and mortars at around 15 settlements, including Berdychi, Semenivka, and Pervomaiske (Donetsk oblast).

Towards Novopavlivka, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back the invaders in the vicinities of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka and Pobieda (Donetsk oblast). In that area, the invaders, with air support, made 18 attempts to breach Ukrainian defense. The enemy launched air strikes in the vicinities of Novomykhailivka, Vodyane (Donetsk oblast). The enemy fired artillery and mortars at around 20 settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Paraskoviivka, and Vuhledar (Donetsk oblast).

Towards Orikhiv, the enemy conducted 5 attacks on positions of Ukrainian defenders in the vicinities of Robotyne, Staromaiorske and northwest of Verbove (Zaporizhzhia oblast). The invaders launched air strikes in the vicinities of Staromaiorske (Donetsk oblast), Novodanylivka and Robotyne (Zaporizhzhia oblast). Around 20 settlements, including Poltavka, Chervone, Robotyne, and Novodanylivka (Zaporizhzhia oblast), were under artillery and mortar fire.

Towards Kherson, Odesa operational-strategic group, the russian army conducted no offensives. More than 25 settlements, including the city of Kherson, Tiahynka, Ivanivka, and Krynky (Kherson oblast), were under artillery and mortar fire.

On March 11, the Ukrainian Air Force launched air strikes on 8 buildups of russian troops, weapons and military equipment, and 1 command post.

The Ukrainian rocket troops hit 2 buildups of enemy troops, weapons and military equipment, 1 Buk-M1 air defense system, and 1 1L219 Zoopark radar station.


The film “20 Days in Mariupol” won the Best Documentary Feature Film category at the 2024 Oscars.  It is a documentary by director and videographer Mstyslav Chernov, which covers the events of the beginning of the full-scale invasion and the russian siege of Mariupol in February-March 2022. This is the first Oscar in the history of Ukrainian cinema.

During the day, the occupiers shelled more than 150 settlements of Ukraine with artillery. There are casualties among the civilian population, destruction and damage to multi-storied buildings, private houses and civilian infrastructure.

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Kharkiv oblast

Oleh Syniehubov, Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported that after 1pm, Hlushkivka village, Kupiansk region, was under enemy attack. Preliminary, three civilians were injured and hospitalised. At the same time, russians attacked Kutuzivka settlement, Kharkiv region, with S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles. There were no casualties.

At around 1:30pm, Vovchansk was under enemy attack. A 70-year-old woman was injured and 8 private houses damaged.

At 1am, the enemy shelled Kharkiv with Shahed drones. As a result of the enemy shelling, 2 apartment buildings, a hotel building, an infrastructure facility and a building of a utility facility were damaged. 2 private cars were also damaged. There were no casualties.

At 2:40am, 2 private houses and 6 outbuildings were damaged in Vovchansk as a result of hostile shelling from MRLs. There were no casualties.

Yesterday about 15 settlements in Kharkiv oblast suffered enemy artillery and mortar attacks: Udy, Strilecha, Starytsia and others. The enemy launched airstrikes on Velykyi Burluk and Vovchansk.

At 12:20pm, a private residential building burned down as a result of repeated shelling of Vovchansk. There were no casualties.

At 11:30am, the enemy shelled Vovchansk with KAB bombs. Private houses were damaged. There were no casualties.

At 10:30am, the enemy shelled Ohirtseve village, Chuhuiv region, with mortars. As a result a private house, a barn and a garage were destroyed. There were no casualties.

The enemy did not conduct any offensive actions yesterday.

Combined teams of bomb experts cleared 3.65 hectares of territory and destroyed 157 explosive ordnance. Mine clearance is ongoing.

8 children with their families were evacuated.

The russian army launches about 10 airstrikes daily against frontline and border settlements, continuing to terrorise Kupiansk and Vovchansk.

Due to the massive shelling of settlements towards Kupiansk, locals are being advised on a daily basis to leave for safer places. Last week, the Regional Defence Council decided to forcefully and compulsorily evacuate children with their parents from several communities. During the day, 8 children and their families were evacuated. As of today, a total of 50 children and their families have been evacuated from two communities: 19 from Vilkhuvata and 31 from Velykyi Burluk. The majority of evacuees do not leave the oblast.

Eight people were killed in Kharkiv oblast as a result of russian strikes over the past week. Another 17 people, including children, were injured in russian attacks. Most of the injured and killed were recorded in Chuhuiv and Kupiansk regions.

Donetsk oblast

The press service of Donetsk police reported that the day before, the enemy shelled Donetsk oblast 1673 times. 7 settlements were attacked: Dobropillia, Myrnohrad, Selydove, Toretsk, Chasiv Yar cities, Zhelanne and Shcherbynivka settlements.

The attacks damaged 62 civilian objects, including 30 residential buildings, two educational institutions, an administrative building, 27 vehicles and critical infrastructure.

According to Donetsk Regional Military Administration, towards Pokrovsk, Krasnohorivka, Kostiantynivka, Heorhiivka and Pobieda of Marinka community were shelled. Two people were killed as a result of a Shahed attack in Dobropillia. According to updated data, 12 civilians, including 2 children, were injured in the shelling of Myrnohrad. 18 apartment buildings, a preschool and 27 cars were damaged. Two houses were damaged in Ptyche of Novohrodivka community. Also russians dropped a Grom-E1 rocket-bomb on Selydove, destroying a private house and two apartment buildings.

Towards Kramatorsk, a school was damaged again in Terny of Lyman community. The outskirts of Kostiantynivska community were under attack.

Towards Bakhmut, 2 houses in Toretsk and, 2 more in Nelipivka were damaged. 9 private houses in Chasiv Yar community and a house in Serebrianka of Siversk community were damaged.

In total, russians shelled settlements in Donetsk oblast 11 times. 481 people, including 93 children, were evacuated from the frontline.

White Angels crew evacuated 5 people from Avdiivka. A resident of Novoselivka Persha village requested evacuation as enemy shells destroyed her house and she is forced to seek shelter in a safe area. Other residents of the village were also evacuated, a man and his 90-year-old mother.

Dmytro Lykhovii, Spokesman of Tavriia operational-strategic group, informed that russian invaders intensified their offensive near Novomykhailivka towards Novopavlivka and on the so-called Vremivka ledge during 11 March and deployed a new tank regiment from another direction.

Denys Nahornyi, Chief of the Artillery Staff of Rubizh 4th Brigade, reported that the russian military is using scorched-earth policy in Ivanivske, near Bakhmut. They are conducting massive artillery and MRLs attacks on settlements, using tactical aircraft, chemicals, incendiaries, artillery, FPV drones in combination with electronic warfare systems.

An elderly couple from Umanske village evacuated and took their goat, dog, chickens and ducks to a safer area. The family’s evacuation was under enemy attack.

The 20 Days in Mariupol documentary by director and videographer Mstyslav Chernov from Kharkiv won an Oscar in the Best Feature Documentary category.

Two new ambulances were delivered to medical units of military units in Pokrovsk. The vehicles were donated by a charity that has been providing vehicles to the Armed Forces since the start of the full-scale invasion. According to Oleksandr Yatsyna, Chairman of the Board of the Mercy and Health charitable foundation, there is currently a “queue” of 300 requests from the military for the vehicles.

Luhansk oblast

According to Luhansk Regional Military Administration, the day before, Novoiehorivka and Serebrianka forestry were attacked by enemy aircraft. The Armed Forces repelled several ground assaults near Bilohorivka. Also russians tried to advance there with the support of artillery. However, the previous day was mostly characterised by a slightly lower number of attacks than on a typical Sunday. The enemy attacked 117 times, using about 480 shells.

Preparations for the formalisation of the election results continue in the occupied territories. From Monday, voting at home starts there. Early voting for the President of the russian federation will last for four days in the so-called “lpr”. This form of expression of will is organised for those who live in places remote from the voting premises, with difficult or no transport links. Despite the lack of communication, the election commissions of the relevant settlements in the occupied Luhansk oblast have already received the required number of ballots and have officially gone to these remote locations. In the morning they will start searching for residents on the streets. In rural areas, ballots will be distributed and collected by car. State employees have been instructed to take pictures at polling stations with their families. The population of the occupied Luhansk oblast will be given dry food rations for voting.

In Antratsyt, a resident over 50 years old, who refused to sign a contract with the russian Ministry of Defence after being forcibly mobilised and left the front line without permission, was ambushed around the clock around his place of residence. Entire brigades of soldiers are on duty for one person.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

The Service for Reconstruction and Development of the Infrastructure of Kyiv oblast reported that the overhaul of the multi-apartment building on Proektna Street in Makariv, which was destroyed by russian shells, is in progress. Due to significant destruction of the building, the contractor had to dismantle the damaged gas and water supply systems, sewage networks. Partitions were destroyed in some apartments, part of the building had to be rebuilt from the first to the fifth floors.

In Irpin, the reconstruction of a private house on Bahirova Street, which was destroyed by russian shelling in the spring of 2022, is underway. The building was dismantled and new housing is being built in its place. As reported in the city council, the restoration is financed under the program “Restoration of private houses destroyed as a result of hostilities in the territory of the Irpin city territorial community for 2023-2024”.

Kyiv City Council reported that they planned to adapt one of the premises on the Singing Field in Kyiv for a shelter. It will be arranged taking into account the needs of people with limited physical capabilities. It was noted there that the Singing Field is a leisure center for residents of the capital, the park is visited by thousands of Kyiv residents and guests of the city every year.

Bucha City Council informed that foreign representatives of the Advisory Group of Experts visited the city. They visited iconic places and listened to the history of the occupation of the city during the full-scale invasion of russian troops. The purpose of their visit is to see with their own eyes the consequences of russian armed aggression against Ukraine.

On Sunday, an action was held in Kyiv in support of prisoners of war and missing persons – “Don’t be silent! Captivity kills!”. About 1,500 people gathered near the red building of Taras Shevchenko University. The purpose of the event is to not forget about those soldiers and civilians who were in russian captivity, and to seek their release.

The kitchen factory in Bucha started delivering food to the first three schools of the community. In April, all schools of the Bucha community will switch to food from the GotuYimo kitchen factory. As the head of RMA Ruslan Kravchenko reported, the foundation of the American philanthropist and businessman Howard Buffett will pay all expenses for hot meals for the children of the three communities in the first year. The project was implemented in cooperation with World Central Kitchen and the National Catering Association.

Zhytomyr oblast

Zhytomyr RMA reported that more than 80% of the communities of the oblast are developing or have already approved strategic development documents. Of these, 48% of communities have already issued documents and 36% are at the development stage. Development strategies are the basis of regional recovery and a key planning document for the development of communities for the coming years.

In Zhytomyr, they plan to create a municipal co-working space and workshops for relocated and local businesses. Most of the funds for the project will be provided by international donor funds under the United Nations Development Program. The expected budget of the Laboratory of Entrepreneurship project is more than UAH 22m.

Sumy oblast

Sumy RMA reported that at night and in the morning, the russians carried out 9 shellings of the border territories of the oblast, a total of 52 strikes by mortars, artillery, MLRS and an RBK-500 airstrike were recorded. Krasnopillia, Nova Sloboda, Esman, Seredyna-Buda communities were shelled.

The Regional Emergency Service reported that on 11 March, russians shelled one of the settlements of Sumy oblast, as a result of which a fire broke out in the territory of the private home ownership of civilians. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire in the utility room and prevented the further spread of the fire.

Sumy RMA reported that over the past day, the russian military carried out 32 shellings of the oblast and a total of 184 explosions were recorded. 10 border communities were shelled: Yunakivka, Khotyn, Bilopillia, Myropillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Nova Sloboda, Shalyhine, Esman, Seredyna-Buda. The enemy attacked by mortars, artillery, MLRS, AGS, launched missile strikes, airstrikes by KAB, RBK-500 and FPV-drone.

The National Police reported that as a result of shelling in Sumy oblast on 10 March, four private residential buildings, an outbuilding, a tractor and a garage were damaged.

In Sumy oblast, explosives engineers defused ball bombs dropped by the russian military on the territory of the oblast. As reported by the regional police, during the past week the russian military used RBK-500 cluster bombs during airstrikes in the Shostka region. One such cassette contains 565 SHOAB-0.5 ball bombs weighing 417g each and they fly over a large area, and when they collide with the surface, trees and objects, they explode, affecting all living things around.

Chernihiv oblast

The SBGS reported that yesterday  russian troops have fired six shots at the border of Chernihiv oblast. In total, the enemy carried out 22 mortar and barrel artillery strikes on the territory of two communities of the oblast, Semenivka and Snovsk.

Chernihiv border detachment reported that the other day, the russian military dropped an incendiary mixture from an unmanned aerial vehicle, which caused a fire in the Semenivka community but the fire was extinguished immediately. This year, for the first time, border guards recorded the use of an incendiary mixture by russians, which bursts when it falls, for the purpose of starting a fire.

Viacheslav Chaus, Head of Chernihiv RMA, announced that last week, the Defence Forces shot down a russian air-to-ground missile and a kamikaze drone in the sky over Chernihiv oblast. In total, over the past week, the enemy shelled 26 settlements in the oblast for 114 times. During this period, 544 explosions were recorded, 24 of them were air strikes, using missiles, kamikaze drones, FPV strike drones.

The Office of the Prosecutor General reported that 15 soldiers of the russian federation were sentenced to 12 years in prison for the brutal treatment of civilians in the village of Yagidne in Chernihiv oblast. At the beginning of March 2022, the russian military deprived 368 people, including 69 minors, of their liberty and forcibly detained them in the basement of the Yagidne school as “human shields”. 10 civilians died in the “cellar of death” due to inhuman conditions of detention and failure to provide necessary medical care.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

In the evening the occupiers launched a kamikaze drone at Nikopol. At night they attacked Chervonohryhorivka community by artillery. In the community 6 private houses, 3 outbuildings, 4 greenhouses, a car, a scooter, 2 power lines and a gas pipeline were damaged.

During the day, the russian army fired 7 times at Nikopol region, launching kamikaze drones and firing artillery to terrorise the locals. The region’s centre and Chervonohryhorivka community were hit. 11 private houses, 10 outbuildings, power lines, a hotel and a shop were damaged.

Vinnytsia oblast

Vinnytsia Mayor Serhii Morhunov reported that the oblast has delivered another aid to the military from the 22nd Brigade and 38th Special Forces. It includes 20 thermal imagers, 22 Bandera Power charging stations and 12 spotlights.

Kirovohrad oblast

Andrii Raikovych, Head of the RMA, reported that the NOC of Ukraine and the sports community of Kirovohrad region have sent cars and everything necessary for the military on the frontline to the athletes who are defending Ukraine. 

Poltava oblast

Poltava oblast paid tribute to soldiers Oleksandr Suriev, Serhii Kachanov and Oleksandr Kovtun.

Senior soldier Oleksandr Suriev from Kremenchuk was killed due to a mortar attack by the russian federation near Novoselivske village, Luhansk oblast.

Soldier Serhii Kachanov from Mhar village, Lubny community, was killed in action in Zaporizhzhia oblast on 26 July, 2023.

Oleksandr Kovtun from Lokhvytsia was killed during a combat mission in Zaporizhzhia oblast on 8 March, 2024.

Cherkasy oblast

Ihor Taburets, Head of the RMA, reported that in Uman work is underway on a high-rise building that was hit by a missile a year ago. Work on the site is entering an active phase. One of the most difficult stages is underway – the dismantling of damaged structures. Slabs for 5 floors have already been made. At the same time, the repairers are insulating another section of the building. Communications and water supply are being repaired. The facility is being repaired at the expense of the Fund for Elimination of the Consequences of Hostile Aggression and the local budget.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

 Ivan Fedorov, the head of Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported that around 12:30pm, the russian army launched two strikes on Zaporizhzhia oblast. Information about casualties and injuries is currently being clarified. 

Yesterday russian occupiers launched 225 strikes on 9 cities and villages in Zaporizhzhia oblast. Aerial bombardments targeted Orikhiv, Novoandriivka, Robotyne and Piatykhatky. Additionally, Robotyne was shelled 3 times from MLRS and 43 drones targeted Huliaipole, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Malynivka and Robotyne. There were 175 artillery strikes at Huliaipole, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Omelnyk, Malynivka and Robotyne. Six reports of residential buildings and infrastructure damage were received. There were no casualties among civilians.

A fire broke out due to russian shelling in Huliaipole. According to rescuers, the roof of a residential building was on fire, affecting an area of ​​100sq m.

The enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders five times near Robotyne, Staromaiorske and northwest of Verbove towards Orikhiv. The enemy also launched aviation strikes in the areas of Staromaiorske in Donetsk oblast, Novodanylivka and Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia oblast. According to the General Staff, artillery and mortar shelling affected about 20 settlements, including Poltavka, Chervone, Robotyne and Novodanylivka in Zaporizhzhia oblast.

Special operations forces destroyed the modern russian Palantin electronic warfare complex using the HIMARS reactive fire system. Drone operators identified the target and the artillery unit hit the enemy’s complex. The Palantin electronic warfare comlex conducted radio-electronic reconnaissance and suppressed the communication systems of the Defense Forces in that direction.

It is reported that russian forces used munitions with poisonous asphyxiating and tear gas substances 60 times in Zaporizhhia oblast over the past week. According to Dmytro Lykhovii, Spokesman for the Tavria operational-strategic group, russians increasingly using munitions with poisonous substances, mainly chloropicrin.

Mykolaiv oblast

Vitalii Kim, Head of Mykolaiv RMA, stated that yesterday russian forces shelled the waters of Ochakiv community and the village of Dmytrivka with artillery. Private houses were damaged as a result of the attack. 

Utility enterprises of Pevoimask community received community new equipment. According to the City Council, it was provided by the German city of Augsburg. An agreement on partnership was signed between the cities of Pervomaisk and Augsburg (Germany) in 2023.

A shelter with an area of about 900sq m is being arranged in one of the educational institutions in Zavodskyi district of Mykolaiv. According to Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych, the shelter will be able to accommodate many people. Shelter repair started in January and it is planned to complete the work by early May. The mayor added that shelters are already prepared in 42 educational institutions and repairs are still underway in eight others.

Odesa oblast

“South” Operational Command reported that the occupiers attacked Odesa oblast at night on. One of the Shahed drones struck an infrastructure object, causing damage to administrative buildings. The shockwave broke windows of private houses and debris damaged utility structures. The attack lasted for about one and a half hours. Anti-aircraft defence units repelled the waves of Shahed drones attempting to enter from the Black Sea waters and manoeuvring between residential and industrial quarters, complicating the defence task. 10 Shahed-131/136 drones were shot down over the region. 

Mykola Lytovchuk, Acting Director of the Odesmiskelektrotrans utility enterprise, informed that mobile shelters are operational around the clock in Odesa. The possibility of equipping shelters with remote locks and internet access is under consideration. 

The MarineTraffic portal confirmed that the ports in Odesa oblast continue their operations despite enemy attacks. On 11 March, dozens of vessels were loaded, ensuring the export of agricultural products and metallurgy to many countries worldwide. Currently, 11 vessels are in the port of Odesa, another 15 are in Chornomorsk and 8 are in Pivdennyi. There are 4 chemical tankers among the vessels. Additionally, 4 vessels are heading out of the ports and 5 are entering. 

The Black Sea has become one of the main theaters of military operations after the full-scale invasion. This has consequences on two sides. On the one hand, military ships, missiles, drones, and sea mines continue to exhaust the marine ecosystem, leading to the disappearance of familiar marine species and the death of dolphins. On the other hand, economic and tourist activities have ceased, reducing pollution in the sea. This was reported by the Institute of Marine Biology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

Kherson oblast

Today russian forces attacked Zmiivka with a drone. A 68-year-old man got injured in the courtyard of his house due to enemy shelling. He sustained a concussion, explosive and cranial-brain injuries and shrapnel wounds to his hands.

A person was injured due to a russian explosive device in Kherson oblast. A 24-year-old man tripped over a mine in a field near the village of Andriivka in Kalynivka community. He suffered severe injuries, including explosive trauma, traumatic amputation of the hand and leg, neck injury, and chest wounds.

The russian military shelled 16 settlements in Kherson oblast on 10 March. The towns affected by combined enemy attacks include Kherson, Antonivka, Chornobaivka, Prydniprovske, Oleksandrivka, Komyshany, Sadove, Beryslav, Tomaryne, Tiahynka, Monastyrske, Havrylivka, Vesele, and Zolota Balka. Seven private houses, an apartment building and a car were damaged. One person was injured.

Yesterday evening, russian forces attacked Dudchany using a drone, resulting in a resident being injured. Today, the victim sought medical attention and he was diagnosed with explosive trauma and leg injuries.

Counter-battery actions continue in the operational zone of the Southern Defense Forces. After two days without assaults, the enemy launched four assault attacks to dislodge Ukrainian units from their positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Faced with losses, the enemy retreated to its original positions. The occupiers maintain an active aerial reconnaissance pace, execute artillery shelling, and use a large number of various modified attack drones. Ukrainian forces continue to hold their positions and take measures to expand their foothold.

The defence forces continue damaging enemy deployment areas, firing positions and rear areas. During the past 24 hours, the enemy lost 34 occupiers, 9 cannons, 1 tank, 2 Lancet attack drones, 2 boats, 2 antennas and 4 armored vehicles on the left bank. A field supply buildup was destroyed.

Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of Kherson Regional Military Administration,  reported that families with five children and an 18-year-old orphan returned from the emporarily occupied territories to the territory controlled by Ukraine.

The Embassy of Ukraine in Japan and donors from Japan, through the United Communities project, provided Kherson agrarians with an innovative special sorbent that allows reducing water usage by 40%. The technology helps increase crop yields by 10-30% in arid regions. Such opportunities are extremely relevant for local farmers after russians destroyed Kakhovka HPP.

A monument to fallen servicemen, including soldiers of the 60th separate infantry brigade, was unveiled in Kochubeivka community. Two years ago, these warriors defended Kochubeivka. An enemy column was moving towards the village, but the heroes stopped its advance, some at the cost of their lives.

Children from Kherson oblast have gone for recuperation to Poland. Thirty-seven children, accompanied by eight adults, temporarily traveled abroad. Residents of Myrolubivka, Kizomys, Muzhkivka, Veletenske, Bilozerka, Yantarne, Zmiivka, Beryslav and Kherson are provided with comfortable accommodation, meals, entertainment, cultural activities and sessions with a psychologist.

Volyn oblast

From 12 February to 11 March 2024, 60 IDPs arrived in the oblast in search of shelter. In total, Volyn received 79,255 IDPs. 46,482 people have the status of IDPs. These are 33,566 families, including 12,893 children. Among the forcibly evacuated persons: 2,157 people with disabilities, 6,763 pensioners, 89 families with many children and 14 families with single parents.

Lutsk City Council sent two DJI MAVIC 3 Fly more combo quadcopters, two DJI MAVIC 3T Enterprise (Thermal) quadcopters and six CoVi Security AHD-4W PRO KIT video surveillance kits to the 1st infantry company of the A4940 military unit.

Zakarpattia oblast

The RMA reported that the Linguistic Lyceum named after Taras Shevchenko opened a memorial plaque to defender Ihor Voievodin.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

Ivano-Frankivsk City Council reported that the community sent 20 FPVs to the military in Avdiivka region.

Lviv oblast

Delegations led by Iryna Vereshchuk, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, and Krzysztof Hetman, Minister of Economic Development and Technologies of the Republic of Poland, arrived in Lviv. First of all, they visited Lychakiv cemetery.

Lviv community sent a Backfire complex, 10 Mara drones, 62 Mavic 3/3 pro/3E/3T drones, a generator and 4 monoculars, worth UAH 12.9m to the military thanks to the Lion’s Revenge initiative.

Residents of Zhovtanets community donated UAH 60,000 to the Armed Forces. Funds were raised at a charity concert and fair.

A memorial plaque in memory of defender Marian Pashko was installed in Khodorivska community. The commander of the reconnaissance group of the 10th mountain assault brigade was killed on 11 March, 2022 in the village of Lukianivka, Kyiv oblast. Awarded the III degree For Courage Order, with which the fallen defender of Ukraine was awarded posthumously.

Rivne oblast

In the morning the police received an anonymous report about the mining of the premises where Rivne RMA is located. Representatives of the special services completed the inspection of the premises of the RMA and the regional council. No explosive objects were found.

Ternopil oblast

Ternopil City Council sent the tracking complex to the Security Service of Ukraine of the oblast thanks to the budget funds. Fighters of this unit carry out combat tasks in the hottest areas of the front.

The RMA reported that the community sent 50 FPV drones to the military for combat missions.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

At Khmelnytskyi NPP, the measures of the Integrated Integrated Program for Improving the Safety of Power Units are being implemented. The installation of fire extinguishing installations involves the installation of fire doors, cylinders with fire extinguishing agent, distribution pipelines, fire arresting valves and fire receiving and control devices that control this installation.

Chernivtsi oblast

Mamaivsk community signed a partnership agreement with the city of Bukloe (Germany), which is part of Swabia district. Cooperation involves the exchange of experience in municipal development, cultural events and educational programs, holding various events, and joint promotion of European values.

International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)

Ukraine has become the largest arms importer in Europe. According to data from the Stockholm International Institute for the Study of Peace Problems, in the period from 2019 to 2023, Ukraine became the largest European importer of weapons and the fourth largest in the world. Since February 2022, at least 30 countries have supplied Ukraine with basic weapons as military aid. The US (39%), Germany and Poland (respectively 14% and 13%) became the main suppliers of arms to Kyiv.

CNN with reference to representatives of Western intelligence reported that russia produces about 250,000 artillery shells per month for the war, which is almost three times over the US and Europe produce for Ukraine.

The Ministry of Agriculture of Latvia has banned the import of agricultural and fodder products from russia and belarus, as well as from other third countries, if the respective products are of russian or belarusian origin. The country also stated that it seeks to break economic ties with the aggressor country as soon as possible.

The Ukraine Facility Platform for mutually beneficial cooperation between the EU and Ukraine was presented in Brussels. This platform was created by the Center for Human Capital in Ukraine (Kyiv) and the Institute for Global Transformation (Brussels) public organizations.

Oleksandr Kubrakov, Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction – the Minister of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure, reported that Ukraine officially begins negotiations with regulators of the US and the European Union regarding the possible resumption of passenger air transport.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, had a phone conversation with Emmanuel Macron, President of France. They discussed the current situation on the battlefield and results of the International Conference in Support of Ukraine, which was recently held in Paris.

In the war against russia, Nodar Nasirov and Giorgii Hogiashvili, soldiers of the Georgian National Legion, were killed,while performing combat missions on the front line.
