The russian federation continues to kill the peaceful population of Ukraine and violate the laws and customs of war, using tactics of terror, striking military and civilian targets alike.
The russian army launched 22 airstrikes and carried out about 60 MLRS attacks on Ukrainian troops’ positions and populated areas.
Ukraine is still under the threat of missile and airstrikes.
The russian army concentrates its main efforts towards Lyman, Bakhmut, and Mariinka. There were over 30 combat clashes.
The operational situation towards Volyn and Polissia did not change with no significant changes observed in russia’s formation of offensive groupings.
Towards Siversk and Sloboda, the russian army conducted an airstrike in the area of Veterynarne, Kharkiv oblast. They carried out mortar and artillery shelling on over 15 populated areas, including Karpovychi, Chernihiv oblast, Myropillia and Ryasne, Sumy oblast, Udy, Pylna, Vovchansk, Budarky, Chuhunivka, Odradne, and Kamianka, Kharkiv oblast.
Towards Kupiansk, russian troops conducted airstrikes in the areas of Kyslivka and Kotliarivka, Kharkiv oblast. Artillery and mortar shelling by the russian army affected Topoli, Novomlynsk, Fiholivka, Masiutivka, and Kyslivka, Kharkiv oblast.
Towards Lyman, the russian army carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the areas of Nevske and south of Dibrova, Luhansk oblast. They conducted airstrikes in the areas of Biloheorivka, Luhansk oblast and Vyimka and Spirne, Donetsk oblast. Over 10 populated areas, including Nevske, Bilohorivka, Luhansk oblast, and Torske, Dibrova, Verkhniokamianske, Rozdolivka, and Berestove, Donetsk oblast, were shelled from artillery.
Towards Bakhmut, russian troops conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Bohdanivka, Donetsk oblast. They carried out airstrikes near Bila Hora, Toretsk, and New York. Approximately 15 populated areas were affected by russian artillery shelling, including Vasiukivka, Markove, Bohdanivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Oleksandro-Shultine, Bila Hora, Diliivka, and Pivdenne, Donetsk oblast.
Towards Avdiivka, russian soldiers conducted an airstrike in the area of Avdiivka. They shelled from artillery at over 10 populated areas. Among affected locations were Novokalynove, Berdychiv, Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske, Donetsk oblast.
Towards Mariinka, Ukrainian soldiers repelled all russian attacks in the area of the city of Mariinka. At the same time, the russian army shelled from artillery at populated areas of Hostre, Heorhiivka, Marinka, and Pobieda, Donetsk oblast.
Towards Shakhtarsk, the russian army conducted an airstrike in the area of Makarivka, Donetsk oblast. They carried out shelling on approximately 15 populated areas, including Paraskoviyivka, Novomykhailivka, Zolota Nyva, Storozheve, Blahodatne, Makarivka, Vilne Pole, and Zelene Pole, Donetsk oblast.
Towards Zaporizhzhia and Kherson, the russian army concentrates its main efforts on preventing the advancement of Ukrainian troops. They conducted artillery shelling on more than 30 populated areas, including Novodarivka, Levadne, Olhivske, Huliaipole, Bilohiria, Zaporizhzhia oblast; Zolota Balka, Mykhailivka, Havrylivka, Kachkarivka, Kozatske, Ivanivka, Antonivka, Zelenivka, Kherson oblast, and the city of Kherson.
Russian troops suffer significant losses every day, which they try to conceal. They continue to employ the traditional russian practice of depriving the families of the deceased of benefits and compensations promoted by russian propaganda. To achieve this, mobile crematoriums are actively used. They have been established that one of such crematoriums is currently operating 24/7 on the territory of the Berdiansk port. At present, approximately 50 bodies of deceased russian servicemen, recently transported from the combat zones to the local morgue, are being cremated. Cremation of the deceased russian servicemen is carried out without their identification and registration.
The aviation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces delivered 10 strikes on russian manpower buildup areas, 2 on anti-aircraft missile systems, and 1 on russian command post.
The missile forces and artillery units hit the russian command post, areas of personnel concentration, weapons and military equipment, ammunition depots, 2 artillery systems in firing positions, an air defense system, an electronic warfare station, and another important target of russian troops.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy advised that russia is capable of remotely detonating the Zaporizhzhia NPP. They plan to leak radioactive substances. “When we receive the station, the IAEA must check everything clearly and in detail, and warn russia that their tentative plans are known, and they are dangerous for the world,” Zelenskyy stressed.
The Office of the President reports that new sanctions were imposed on 190 individuals and 291 legal entities. The sanctions are mainly aimed at russians, their factories and companies, as well as the Georgian airline Georgian Airways, which has resumed flights to russia, and its owner, Tamaz Gaiashvili.
Recent war events in the east of Ukraine
Kharkiv oblast
Vitalii Karabanov, head of the Balakliia City Military Administration, said that at around 2:30 pm, russian troops struck Balakliia, one person sustained shrapnel wounds and three others injured when they fell to the ground during the shelling. According to him, russians had previously shelled the city with Tornado MRLs.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, russian troops shelled Kotliarivka and Berestove, Kupiansk region. Russian aviation also struck Veterynarne, Kyslivka and Kotliarivka. At least 12 settlements were under mortar and artillery attacks.
Last night, at around 1 am, the enemy launched a missile attack from an S-300 air defense system at Chuhuiv. Kharkiv Regional Military Administration reported a hit on the ground. Residential buildings nearby and cars were damaged. There were no casualties.
Referring to the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, yesterday, russian invaders shelled frontline and border settlements in Kharkiv, Chuhuiv, Izium and Kupiansk regions.
As a result of shelling from the Uragan MRLs in Kurylivka village, Kupiansk region, private buildings were damaged. A 70-year-old woman was injured. She was hospitalized in a critical condition.
Oleh Syniehubov, head of the RMA, reported that a 57-year-old man was injured during the artillery shelling of Synkivka, Kupiansk region. He was hospitalised.
Three civilian men aged 45, 48 and 57 were killed in Vovchanski Khutory village, Chuhuiv region.
A private building and outbuildings were damaged in Kolodiazne village, Kupiansk region.
The shelling of Zelenyi Hai village, Izium region, damaged the building of the pumping station.
Mine clearance is ongoing. Yesterday pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service defused 93 explosive ordnance.
Donetsk oblast
Serhii Cherevatyi, spokesman of the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that towards Lyman-Kupiansk, enemy armoured personnel vehicles, two cannons, a mortar, a drone and two ammunition depots were destroyed and damaged. The enemy conducted three assaults on our positions in this sector yesterday and launched 12 air strikes. Russians used artillery of various calibres 77 times. While repelling the attacks, 27 invaders were eliminated, 64 injured. An enemy armoured personnel vehicle, two cannons, a mortar, a drone and two field ammunition depots were destroyed.
In June, 50 people were killed and 166 others injured by russian shelling. Most of the deceased and injured were in Kramatorsk and Toretsk communities.
According to the RMA, russians hit a school in Serhiivka, Udachne community, with a cruise missile, killing 2 people and injuring 6. At the site, rescuers removed 55 tonnes of destroyed building constructions. There were 12 people in the school at the time of the hit. A total of six people were injured. They were hospitalized. Rescuers rescued a woman from the rubble and recovered the bodies of two of the victims. Part of the building is completely destroyed. Classrooms, offices and other premises were smashed, furniture and school equipment were destroyed. According to the Donetsk police, russian military probably hit the settlement with Iskander rocket launchers.
Towards Donetsk, 1 person was injured and 3 buildings damaged in Hostre, Kurakhove community.
1 person was injured as a result of shelling in Shevchenko village, Pokrovsk community. A building was damaged in Kramatorsk.
Towards Horlivka, 3 buildings in Chasiv Yar community and 1 building in Scherbynivka of Toretsk community were damaged. A russian airstrike destroyed a school in Rozdolivka, Soledar community. 1 person was killed and 1 injured in Mykolaivka, Kostiantynivka community, 4 buildings were damaged in Novodmytrivka. Private buildings in Rai-Oleksandrivka, Mykolaivka community, were damaged.
Towards Lysychansk, 2 buildings were destroyed in Siversk. In Kolodiazi, Lyman community, building was destroyed and 5 more damaged.
On 30 June, Russians killed 3 civilians: 2 in Serhiivka and 1 in Mykolaivka. Another 10 people were injured during the day.
Within a day, the State Emergency Service helped 126 people, including 30 children, to leave Donetsk oblast. Psychologists from the Rescue Service are always on duty at the evacuation sites.
Halyna Shyshova, head of the Immunisation Department at the Donetsk Regional Centre for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, said that in Donetsk oblast, the rate of tuberculosis has increased by 85% compared to last year and cases have been registered in 22 territorial communities of the oblast.
The medical equipment for blood testing worth more than one million hryvnias will be sent by the volunteers of the Smart Medical Aid Foundation to two hospitals in Donetsk oblast and one in Kharkiv oblast. The equipment is needed for diagnostics during surgeries for seriously injured patients. According to Iryna Rybinkina, the head of the foundation, the portable equipment was ordered in Austria.
Pokrovsk City Military Administation confirmed that children’s paintings are very successful at auctions abroad. 4 of them have already been sold and 6 have been reserved. The money from the sale of the paintings will go to the KIDS and ART for UKRAINE foundation, which will be used to support Ukrainian children, their development and education.
Luhansk oblast
Luhansk RMA informed that the defence forces continue to push back russians, preventing their further advance. Yesterday, russians tried to attack towards Novoselivske, but all their attempts failed – Ukrainian defenders reliably held the defence and caused damage to the enemy. The enemy also continued to be active in Serebrianka forestry, where they were also stopped.
Russians are still actively using aviation in their offensive. They launched regular airstrikes on Nevske and Bilohorivka. Bilohorivka and Dibrova were shelled with artillery.
General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that in Novopskov, russian invaders are setting up a new hospital in the maternity one and the equipment of the institution has been taken away.
In the temporarily occupied Novopskov, russian “authorities” intend to replace the subject of health education with the subject of “Defence of the Motherland” in schools. According to the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, the Russian Ministry of Education is developing a new curriculum for school-age girls, which provides for training them as sanitary instructors.
Oleksandr Striuk, the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, said that in the temporarily occupied Sievierodonetsk, russians dismantled the last boiler house and continued to dismantle the centralised heating system. The restoration is being carried out exclusively in the surviving buildings, where there is no need to invest a lot of money. Russians did not repair the water supply system. Only those areas that were least affected by the hostilities are functioning.
What is happening now in the north of Ukraine
The Joint Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that there is no immediate threat of offensive actions from Belarus and russia in the area of responsibility of the Northern Military Group. However, in case of an increase in the level of threats, it is foreseen to build up forces and resources, as well as other practical measures to improve the defence capabilities of the group. The Armed Forces are in constant operational contact with foreign partners to exchange information. The Command is gradually increasing its defence capabilities and is engaged in training activities.
Kyiv oblast
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez arrived in Kyiv on the first day of his presidency of the EU Council. He met with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy to discuss cooperation with Latin American countries and their involvement in the implementation of the Peace Formula, the alarming situation at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, and expectations from the NATO Summit in Vilnius. Pedro Sánchez announced a new aid package for Ukraine worth €55 million.
Lithuanian Defence Minister Arvydas Anušauskas arrived in Kyiv on an unannounced visit and met with his Ukrainian counterpart Oleksii Reznikov. They discussed preparations for the upcoming NATO summit in Vilnius, Ukraine’s progress in reforming its military training system, and Lithuania’s long-term plan to assist the Ukrainian army. During his visit to Ukraine, Anušauskas visited Chernihiv, Irpin and Bucha and inspected Lithuanian-funded facilities under construction.
Military drills were held in Kyiv oblast to prevent the infiltration of occupation subversive reconnaissance groups into Kyiv. The military learnt to repel the occupiers’ attacks, defend and cover Ukrainian troops from the air, and practised using grenade launchers and heavy shells. The Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Serhii Naiev, said that such exercises are held on a weekly basis.
The Wasatch Group, in partnership with the charity To Ukraine With Love, plans to build 600 fully furnished modular homes in Kyiv oblast in 2023-2024 for people whose homes were destroyed by russians. This was announced by Volodymyr Zelenskyy after a meeting with Wasatch Group founder Dell Loy Hansen. The American businessman and philanthropist also presented the project of the “Hansen’s Town” apartment complex, the main idea of which is to create a large community for the elderly, war veterans, widows, orphans, and people with disabilities.
A delegation of journalists from more than 10 countries visited Ukraine to learn the truth about the war and civil society’s opposition to russian propaganda. The delegation included journalists from Iraq, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Lebanon, the Western Balkans, and other countries. The meeting was held at the Ukraine-Ukrinform Media Centre. During the three-day visit, the foreign journalists visited Hostomel, Bucha and Irpin in Kyiv Oblast, Yahidne, Lukashivka, and Chernihiv. The journalists visited the sites of russian crimes and talked to local residents.
According to Ruslan Kravchenko, Head of Kyiv RMA, Irpin has launched a large-scale project to replace windows in the city’s buildings affected by the full-scale invasion. It involves the installation in almost 300 private homes and 141 multi-storey buildings. The windows will be replaced at all facilities in Irpin where there is a need, thanks to the support of the non-profit organisation Global Empowerment Mission (GEM) in partnership with the Howard G. Buffett Foundation (HGBF).
The Kyiv City State Administration has reported that the fund of protective structures in Kyiv is to be increased by means of underground premises and spaces. The owners of such facilities must submit relevant information to the district departments of the State Emergency Service. This decision was made by the Kyiv Defence Council.
Zhytomyr oblast
The regional office of the State Emergency Service reported that the sixteenth train with evacuated residents of Donetsk oblast arrived in Berdychiv. This time, 16 IDPs, including ten children, arrived in the Zhytomyr oblast. They were met at the railway station in the waiting area by rescuers, government officials, police, Ukrposhta employees, volunteers from Caritas Ukraine, and the Ukrainian Red Cross Society.
The regional military administration reported that 40 children from the Zhytomyr region are having a rest in Estonia. The children were invited to a summer psychological rehabilitation camp in Tuksi on the initiative of Tallinn Mayor Mikhail Kilvart and the BGV Charity Foundation. The trip was organised for children from disadvantaged categories with the aim of psychological and social rehabilitation, preservation of their lives and health.
Sumy oblast
Over the past day, 30 June, Russians fired 14 times at the border, with a total of 94 explosions recorded. Bilopillia, Esman, Yunakivka, Nova Sloboda, Myropillia, Khotyn, Krasnopillia, Putyvl and Znob-Novhorod communities were shelled.
Sumy Regional Military Administration reported that an underage boy (born in 2006) was injured in a tank shelling of the Khotyn community. The warehouse of an agricultural company was also damaged.
At night and in the morning of 1 July, 2 hostile attacks were recorded: 3 tank attacks on the territory of Khotyn community and 3 mortar attacks on the territory of Krasnopil community. Preliminarily, there were no casualties or damage to civilian infrastructure.
The Sumy operational-tactical group reported that the enemy attacked the village of Zapsillia with mortars: about 10 mines exploded on the territory of the village. As a result of the shelling, the power supply was cut off, and a tractor and a barn were damaged.
Mayor Yurii Zarko reported that the russian military shelled Bilopillia during the funeral of the fallen Ukrainian soldier Serhii Popyk. The shelling began when the funeral ceremony was ending, and no one was injured.
A special redemption of the “Defence Intelligence of Ukraine” postage stamp was held in Sumy oblast. According to the Sumy RMA, a new stamp from the series “Glory to the Armed Forces of Ukraine!” dedicated to Ukrainian intelligence officers was redeemed on the anniversary of the liberation of Zmiinyi Island.
A new social adaptation space for the elderly and people with disabilities is now open in Sumy oblast, with 360 retirees attending. It was opened on the basis of the Sumy City Territorial Social Service Centre “Berehynia”. According to the centre’s director, Inna Galichenko, the community renovated the premises at its own expense, and the United Nations Development Programme, with financial support from the Government of Canada, purchased the necessary equipment and provided expert support.
Chernihiv oblast
Border settlements of Krasni Lozy, Hremyach, Bohdanove, Medvedivka, and Khrinivka were attacked on June 30. According to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, as of 09:00 on 1 July, seven attacks from various types of weapons were recorded: 5 grenade launcher attacks, 11 explosions of 120 mm mines, 30 explosions from enemy artillery. As a result of mortar shelling in the village of Hremiach, an outbuilding caught on fire.
According to a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, a department of military training will be established at the National University of Chernihiv Polytechnic. The decision will enable the university to train reserve officers in scarce military specialities.
In Chernihiv oblast, rescuers are conducting explanatory and preventive raids, reminding people of safety rules and providing them with handouts with an algorithm of actions when finding explosive or suspicious items. According to the regional State Emergency Service, this is due to the fact that residents of the oblast discover such dangerous finds almost every day in fields, private land plots, construction sites, and forest belts.

Dnipropetrovsk oblast
According to Head of the regional council Mykola Lukashuk, russians attacked the Marhanets community of the Nikopol region with heavy artillery at night. During the day, the russian army shelled Nikopol with cannon artillery. 3 objects, 8 private residential buildings, 2 outbuildings, and a car were damaged.
The art mosaic “Steps to Victory” was unveiled in Dnipro Park. It was created based on a mural by French artist Julien Mallan (pseudonym Seth). It consists of more than two thousand children’s drawings.
Vinnytsia oblast
In Vinnytsia, a field kitchen festival raised funds for a Starlink and a generator for the military.
Poltava oblast
Medical workers and rescuers from Poltava oblast, with the support of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Poltava oblast, have undergone a training course on radiation protection.

Cherkasy RMA reported that necessary medicines and more than 10 tonnes of drinking water were delivered from Cherkasy oblast to the villages of the Vysokopillia community in Kherson oblast.

Zaporizhzhia oblast
According to the head of the Zaporizhzhia RMA, Yury Malashko, in Zaporizhzhia, a 51-year-old man was killed in Malia Tokmachka during enemy shelling on July 1, and two people were injured in Preobrazhenka. The victims are provided with the necessary medical assistance.
Experts are working on eliminating the consequences of shelling. The National Police of the region reported on June 30, the russian military shelled the territory of Zaporizhzhia oblast 54 times. A total of 26 damage reports were recorded.
The russians shelled the largest number of strikes at the houses of civilians in the Polohiv region. The enemy hit Orykhiv and Preobrazhenka with airstrikes, as a result of which civil infrastructure facilities were destroyed. The enemy shelled Novoivanivka, Gulyaipole, Zaliznychne, Levadne, Mala Tokmachka, Poltavka, Charivne, Biloghirya, Verkhnya Tersa, Priyutne, Novodarivka, Chervone, Temyrivka, and Olhivske from artillery.
On the territory of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, the russian occupiers stationed about 5,000 soldiers, explosives and heavy weapons. The President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this in an interview with El Mundo, citing intelligence data. The president noted that the threat of a terrorist attack on the ZNPP is part of the russian strategy to freeze the conflict.
According to the General Staff, about 50 ethnic Dagestan servicemen from the Caspian division refused to participate in combat operations in Dorozhnianka region, Zaporizhzhia region. The weapons that were available in the unit were disabled by the russian military.
In Zaporizhzhia and the Zaporizhzhia oblast, on June 29, command and staff exercises were held in the event of an emergency at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. Policemen, rescuers, doctors and other special services were involved in developing the algorithm of actions in conditions as close as possible to real ones.
During the joint exercises, 3 headquarters and 23 assembly points were deployed. As reported in the Regional State Emergency Service, 107 buses, 5 trains and 5 electric trains were prepared for the evacuation of people.
Ukrzaliznytsia addressed how to respond to possible terrorism at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant by the occupying country in Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv and Kherson oblasts. The company reported that evacuation routes have been developed, the required number of rolling stock and employees who may be required during the response to the attack have been calculated, evacuation routes and passenger transfer stations have been determined, and a test radiation decontamination of passengers has been carried out.
Mykolaiv oblast
On June 30, russian troops fired artillery at the Ochakiv community. They also struck the territory of Kutsurub community by hitting a private yard. Mykolaiv RMA reported that there were no injured or dead civilians.
Yesterday, a delegation of Austria visited Mykolaiv. It included members of the Austria-Ukraine Bilateral Parliamentary Group, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Austria to Ukraine, Mr. Arad Banko. Helmut Brandstätter, deputy of the National Council of Austria, headed the delegation.
During the visit, the guests learned how the city hospitals operate and emergency care is provided in Mykolaiv. The parliamentarians handed over humanitarian aid, medical equipment and hygiene products, noting that they would continue to help the city. They asked to transfer the list of equipment and drugs currently required.
Mykolaiv received another batch of humanitarian aid from the city of Haarlem, Netherlands. They brought medical equipment, couches, and many medicines that will help improve the provision of services in the city’s medical institutions.
Odesa oblast
Odesa branch of the Administration of Seaports of Ukraine received two skimmers from the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) for collecting pollutants in the water areas of the ports. According to the head of the state-owned enterprise Yuriy Lytvyn, the specialized environmental protection equipment transferred to Odesa branch of SE “AMPU” will allow to effectively eliminate the consequences of the emergency situation associated with the occupiers’ detonation of Kakhovska HPP. Last week, as part of the “Grain Agreement”, only 5 ships left the ports of Greater Odesa.
The press service of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that in general, almost three hundred thousand tons of grain and other food products were transported on their boards. The russian federation violated the International Convention and completely stopped the registration of the new incoming fleet, endangering the supply of food to world markets. As part of the grain agreement, which provided for exports, 1.4 million tons of food products remained blocked.
Kherson oblast
The russian army shelled the residential districts of Kherson. Kherson RMA Oleksandr Prokudin reported that one of the projectiles hit the house, as a result of which a 9-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy were injured. Doctors provide the children with the necessary assistance. According to the General Prosecutor’s Office, a woman was also wounded during the shelling.
On June 30, the russian military shelled Kherson oblast 82 times, injuring five people, including one child. In total, the enemy fired 445 attacks from mortars, artillery, tanks, “Grades” and UAVs, of which 5 shells hit the city of Kherson. The russian military targeted the residential quarters of populated areas.
In Kherson oblast, 18 settlements remain flooded after the russians blew up the Kakhovska HPP dam. As reported by the State Emergency Service, one settlement (one house) on the right bank of the Dnieper and 17 – in the territory temporarily occupied by the russians, remain flooded. The liquidation of the consequences of the detonation by the occupiers of the Kakhovska HPP is underway.
According to Oleksandr Prokudin, head of RMA, over a thousand tons of water were pumped out of 24 basements and houses, and 43 tons of water were delivered. Power engineers repaired and started up another transformer substation in Kherson. Power was restored for 307 consumers. Natural gas supply was restored in 17 houses. 42 settlements remain without electricity in the de-occupied territory of Kherson oblast.
He also added that 32 settlements that are in the shelling area currently require restoration. Specialists from Khmelnytskyi, Chernivtsi, and Kropyvnytskyi are helping to restore electricity supply in Kherson oblast. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that in Serhiyivka, Kherson oblast, from June 15 until now up to 10 russian servicemen were blown up by landmines installed by the previous rotation in one of the units of the 5th Army of the Eastern Military District.
In the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson oblast, the russian invaders continue to kidnap Ukrainian children, taking them “on vacation” to the russian federation. The first deputy head of the Kherson Regional Council Yurii Sobolevskyi reported that another 185 Ukrainian children were abducted the other day.
According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, a deputy of the State Duma of the russian federation and two other persons have been notified of suspicion based on the facts of deportation and forced transfer of 48 children from the Kherson Children’s Home.
The head of Kherson RMA, Oleksandr Prokudin, announced that the residents of Beryslav region, Kherson oblast, whose housing was damaged as a result of russian aggression, began to receive financial aid under the “eRecovery” program. The first 19 victims received payments totaling over UAH 2 million.

Zakarpattia oblast
A year ago, on the initiative of the RMA, a convenient platform was created in Telegram (chatbot) for IDPs to find work. Since then, about 1,8K IDPs have used it. Almost 70% of them were successfully employed.
Ivano-Frankivsk oblast
43 children of military servicemen of Ivano-Frankivsk community went on a two-week vacation to the Polish city of Rybnik thanks to the partnership between Ivano-Frankivsk and Rybnik. These are the children of military personnel who were killed, were injured or are currently defending Ukraine at the front.
The RMA reported that a modern rehabilitation room was opened at the Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Center. Thanks to the Move Ukraine foreign CF the premises were renovated. The necessary medical equipment was also purchased with the assistance of international donors.
The regional Mobile Brigade continues to advise newly arrived residents of the oblast. This time, experts visited seven places of compact human habitation in Kolomyia community. Consultative assistance was provided, and the living conditions were also familiarized.
Lviv oblast
Lviv City Council held a meeting with Mykhailo Fedorov, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine. They discussed the strategy of changes in the education system in Ukraine. The Minister also inspected how the country’s first educational institution using 3D printing technology is being built in Lviv.
A Mitsubishi L200 car equipped with nesessary things and food was sent for the needs of soldiers from Zhuravnensk community. The funds for this were collected by employees of the village council and the city hospital, as well as employees, parents and students of the local lyceum school.
Brody community received assistance (chainsaws and brush cutters, professional garden shears, chainsaws, gasoline lawnmowers and hedge trimmers) for the needs of communal services from the USAID HOVERLA project. All tools were purchased with funds from the US government. Earlier, as part of the project, a tractor EUR worth 60K was sent to Brody company.
Yurii Honcharenko, an injured amateur musician from Bakhmut, played the piano every day at the Unbroken National Rehabilitation Center. And at the end of the treatment, to thank him, he organized a mini-concert for patients and medics.
Rivne oblast
During the 492 days of the war, there were 428 air raids in Rivne oblast. Summarizing June: there were 21 alarms in total (20 alarms were in May); the longest alarm was recorded on June 9 (it lasted 2 h 38 min); the shortest alarm is on June 1 (its duration is 9 min); the alarm was announced three times during the day on June 23; the maximum number of days without alarms is 6 days; quiet mode lasted from June 24 (04:03) to June 30 (midnight).
Ternopil oblast
A unique exhibition of paintings and photographs Warriors of Light was opened in one of Ternopil city hospitals, authors of which were Heroes of the russian-Ukrainian War. Soldiers painted pictures during treatment in a medical facility.
Khmelnytskyi oblast
A polar explorer from Khmelnytskyi returned from wintering in Antarctica and immediately joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Maksym Bilous from Shepetivka was twice a member of the Ukrainian Antarctic expedition – on the 25th and 27th. After Antarctica, the polar explorer is engaged in the training of a new group of engineering and sapper specialists, since Maksym is a sapper by military profession and previously participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation.
Chernivtsi oblast
The RMA held a meeting with heads of territorial communities regarding security issues. They discussed the state of shelters, the notification system, and generally the work in the field of civil protection of the population. Community leaders also received sets of stationary MOTOROLA DW4600e radio stations. Chernivtsi oblast received them as part of the Romania-Ukraine Joint Operational Program “Security and Protection – a Common Factor of Cross-border Cooperation“.
Another shelter for IDPs was opened in Bukovina. The 4th and 5th floors of dormitory # 2 of Hlybotskyi Lyceum were equipped for housing. 58 people have already settled here. In total, 112 people will be able to live here. These are families from Donetsk, Luhansk and Kharkiv oblasts. The reconstruction in the premises were made with the funds of the regional budget. The total cost of the reconstruction is UAH 5 646 920.
International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)
The Danish government announced a new military aid package for Ukraine worth EUR 170 million, which included anti-aircraft missiles, ammunition and demining equipment.
Pedro Sanchez, Prime Minister of Spain, announced that the country allocates a new aid package for Ukraine worth EUR 55 million.
Benefactors of the Taiwanese city of Zhanghua collected humanitarian cargo, including 48 vehicles, including more than 20 ambulances, at least 6 fire engines and several dozen jeeps and minibuses for the needs of Ukrainian defenders at the front. The initiator of the project is Bai Sanzhong, Taiwanese businessman.
The EU extended sanctions against russia for six months.
The Prime Minister of Spain arrived in Kyiv on the first day of the country’s presidency of the EU Council. “Already in Kyiv. I wanted the first event of Spain’s presidency of the EU Council to be in Ukraine with Volodymyr Zelenskyy. I will express all European solidarity to the Ukrainian government and parliament. We will continue to support the Ukrainian people until peace is restored in Europe,” wrote Pedro Sanchez on Twitter. Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, held a meeting with Dell Loy Hansen, American businessman and philanthropist, founder and executive director of the Wasatch Group.
