In Iran, the IAEA detected the uranium enriched up to 84% which is 6% less as required for production of nuclear weapon. The IAEA is trying to figure out how Iran managed to preserve uranium with 84% of purity. Prior to this Iran informed the IAEA that their centrifuges were able to enrich uranium up to 60%, Bloomberg reports. 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm:   

The enemy launched 3 missiles and 22 air strikes. The invaders launched over 30 MLRS attacks. 

Ukraine is still under the threat of further russian air and missile strikes.

The enemy focuses the offensive operations on Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Shakhtarsk.

Towards Volyn, Polissya, Siversk, and Sloboda, no signs of formation of offensive groups were detected. 

The vicinities of settlements of Karpovychi, Tymonovychi, Yanzhulivka, Chernihiv oblast, Buniakyne, Atynske, Stukalivka, Iskryskivschyna, Zapsillya, Pokrovka, and Maiske, Sumy oblast, as well as the vicinities of over 20 settlements in Kharkiv oblast came under enemy fire. Among them are Veterynarne, Hlyboke, Morokhovets, Vovchansk, Okhrimivka, Budarky, Bolohivka, Kamianka, Topoli, and Zapadne. 

Towards Kupinsk and Lyman, the enemy shelled the settlements of Dvorichna, Pishchane, Krokhmalne, Pershotravneve, Kharkiv oblast, Stelmakhivka, Ploschanka, Nevske, Chervonopopivka, Dibrova, Luhansk oblast, and Spirne, Donetsk oblast. 

Towards Bakhmut, the vicinities of over 15 settlements came under fire, including Rozdolivka, Vasiukivka, Zaliznyanske, Dubovo-Vasylivka, Bakhmut, Klischiivka, Stupochky, Druzhba, Pivnichne, and Zalizne, Donetsk oblast. 

Towards Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk, the enemy fired artillery at over 20 settlements. These are Novobakhmutivka, Avdiivka, Vodyane, Pervomaiske, Vesele, Bohoiavlenka, Novoukrainka, Prechystivka, Shakhtarske, and Neskuchne, Donetsk oblast. The enemy also launched air strikes in the vicinity of Oleksandropil, Avdiivka, Marinka, and Vuhledar.

Towards Zaporizhzhia, the vicinities of 23 settlements were hit, including Novopil, Donetsk oblast, Olhivske, Bilohiria, Mala Tokmachka, Pavlivka, Novoivanivka, Kamianske, Zaporizhzhia, Vyschetarasivka, and Illinka, Zaporizhzhia oblast. Enemy air strikes were reported near Novopil, Donetsk oblast, Malynivka, and Mala Tokmachka, Zaporizhzhia oblast.

Towards Kherson, Kherson and the vicinities of over 30 settlements were hit by enemy artillery fire. Among them are Zmiivka, Beryslav, Vesele, Burhunka, Ivanivka, Inzhenerne, Kherson, Bilozerka, Dniprovske, Berehove, and Veletenske, Kherson oblast.

On February 19, russian occupation forces shelled the town of Hola Prystan, Kherson oblast, with artillery, to accuse and discredit the Armed Forces of Ukraine. To instill a negative attitude towards the Ukrainian Defense Forces, the occupiers continue to shell civilian targets in certain settlements of Kakhovka and Hola Prystan’ regions, Kherson oblast.  

The enemy continues to force russian passports on Ukrainian citizens in the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson oblast. The so-called authorities put in office by russian occupation forces in Skadovsk and Kalanchak are forcing to speed up obtaining russian passports and re-registering businesses’ movable and immovable property under russian law. This is done under threats of confiscation of personal property. Pensioners having no russian passport are threatened with being deprived of their pension payments. This caused social tensions among local residents, who fear losing their property and businesses. 

The Ukrainian Air Force launched 16 air strikes on the buildups of occupiers’ personnel and military equipment and 1 air strike on the enemy’s anti-aircraft missile system at its firing position.


According to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, the US President Joe Biden has arrived in Kyiv. This visit is of vital importance since it shows unwavering support of Ukraine. This is the first visit of the US President within the last 15 years. 

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov informed that at least 2 battalions of Leopard 2 tanks will be created in Ukraine. 6-7 battalions with Leopard 1 tanks with ammunition. “It will be the coalition. Various states will provide Ukraine with Leopard 1 tanks. Challenger 2, Abrams and AMX-10 light tanks will be delivered in Ukraine.” he noted. 

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Kharkiv oblast

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in the morning, at least 11 settlements were shelled and there was another attempt to attack Hrianykivka. Over 20 settlements were attacked during the day.

Minister of Energy of Ukraine, Herman Halushchenko, noted during the visit to Kharkiv on February 20 that electricity generation needs to be increased to ensure the region’s power supply in case of new russian attacks on Ukraine’s energy system. As of today, electricity has been restored to 811 settlements in the region.

Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, reported that the region has received about 15 tons of equipment to restore and repair the power generating infrastructure. He also added that almost 35K consumers remain without electricity, 11K of them are in the currently occupied territories.

Head of the Kupiansk Regional Administration, Andrii Kanashevych, informed that Hrianykivka in Dvorichna community has been under intense shelling for the past two weeks. Recently, people were evacuated from there to Kharkiv. Up to 10 residents remained in the village.

At about 5 am, the enemy shelled Kupiansk region. A private building was destroyed in Novoosynove village. A woman may be under the rubble. Rescuers are working on the site.

In Kurylivka village, the shelling damaged the buildings of an agricultural enterprise. A large-scale fire broke out.

In addition, in the morning, the enemy attacked Strilecha village in Kharkiv district. Two civilians were injured. A woman was hospitalized and a man received medical aid on the spot.

Yesterday, the enemy targeted at least 11 border settlements in Chuhuiv, Kharkiv and Kupiansk districts.

In Kupiansk, the shelling damaged a medical facility, a civilian industry facility, a 9-storey apartment building, private buildings, a garage, outbuildings, and cemetery monuments.

In Dvorichna settlement, Kupiansk region, the building of the fire and rescue unit was damaged.

As a result of the shelling of Lyptsi village, private buildings were damaged. Two women aged 50 and 32 were injured.

In Vovchansk, Chuhuiv region, a 45-year-old woman sustained shrapnel wounds. She received medical aid on the spot.

As a result of hostile shelling, a 40-year-old man was injured in Kruhliakivka, Kupiansk region. 

Donetsk oblast

Bakhmut Deputy Mayor, Oleksandr Marchenko, reported that more than a hundred children remain in Bakhmut. Currently, the regional and city administrations, together with the State Emergency Service and police, are trying to evacuate all families with children.

On the morning of February 20, russian troops shelled Avdiivka with Grad multiple rocket launchers and aircraft. A police officer was injured.

One person was killed and two injured in Ivanopillia village of Kostiantynivka community as a result of russian shelling. In addition, today during the day, russians launched artillery strikes on Toretsk, fired at Novyi Komar village with Grad multiple rocket launchers and fired at Avdiivka with artillery and rockets. The enemy attack destroyed or damaged residential buildings, a school, the Invincibility Centre, cars, shops, a coffee shop and industrial premises.

Previously, russians launched 3 missile strikes: an industrial enterprise was damaged in Kramatorsk, a car service centre and a surrounding 3-story building damaged in Yasnohirka and a former mine damaged in Kleban-Byk.

One person was killed in Avdiivka. The city suffered 2 air strikes, 2 artillery, Grad MRLs and tank attacks. One building was destroyed in Marinka community and one damaged in Krasnohorivka, a building damaged in Zoriane. One building was damaged in Kurakhivka.

Towards Horlivka, 2 people were killed in Bakhmut and Bohdanivka of Chasiv Yar community. In Kostiantynivka community, a building in Kostiantynivka and 3 buildings in Ivanopillia were damaged. In Soledar community, 2 buildings in Fedorivka and 4 buildings and 1 infrastructure facility in Toretsk community were damaged.

Towards Lysychansk, it was loud in Siversk and Serebrianka. There were no casualties.

Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, reported that yesterday russians killed 3 civilians in Avdiivka, Bakhmut and Bohdanivka. Another person was injured.

Luhansk oblast

Yesterday, Defence Forces repelled enemy attacks near Bilohorivka. Towards Kupiansk and Lyman, the enemy targeted Bilohorivka, Dibrova, Nevske, Novoselivske and Stelmakhivka.

Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Haidai, reported that the enemy continues to increase the number of attacks on our positions. The situation is the most complicated in Bilohorivka and Kreminna. The Ukrainian military command has operational information about russian personnel and equipment build-up and is planning further actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Based on the information provided by the Luhansk RMA, mobile communication is also disconnected in part of the occupied Luhansk oblast. Men in the so-called “Luhansk People’s Republic” are being pressured with a “database with personal data of evaders” and the invaders promise to pay doctors in private military companies more than stormtroopers.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

President of the United States Joe Biden arrived in Kyiv to meet the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. The leaders of Ukraine and the United States paid tribute to the fallen Ukrainian defenders and visited St. Michael’s Golden-Domed Monastery. After the talks, they visited the Alley of Courage on Constitution Square and took part in the unveiling of a plaque dedicated to the American president.

An Israeli parliamentary delegation headed by the chairman of the Defense and International Policy Committee, Yuli Edelstein, has arrived in Kyiv. This was announced by Ambassador of Ukraine to Israel Yevhen Korniychuk. The Israeli parliamentary delegation also visited Bucha, where russian invaders committed numerous crimes against civilians during the occupation.

According to Ukrinform, the territorial defense forces in Kyiv received unique Ukrainian-made military equipment. They got 35 sets of PK-8 compact sapper systems designed to remotely and wirelessly control minefields, explosive devices, or blow-up objects prepared for demolition.

The Kyiv City State Administration reported that more than 100,000 servicemen and their families in Kyiv may need rehabilitation and psychological assistance after the war. The Kyiv City Council is considering a comprehensive dedicated program to support the defenders of Ukraine, including medical, psychological, and educational services for employment and career guidance for the military. A unified city rehabilitation center is being established to consolidate all the necessary services, and a network of military hubs is being developed to allow veterans communicate with each other and engage in sports.

An emergency reconstruction project funded by the Government of Japan has been launched in Bucha by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). As part of the project, nearly 30 houses that were destroyed by russians last spring will soon be dismantled. Before dismantling begins, experts are surveying the area for explosives.

The National Police of Ukraine reported that disposal of ammunition left by the russian invaders continues in Kyiv oblast. One of the RPG-22 anti-tank grenades was found in a forest area in Vyshhorod region and disposed of in a controlled environment. Law enforcement officers emphasize that after russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine and the shelling of the entire territory of our country with various types of weapons, dangerous remnants of ammunition or unexploded ordnance remain on the ground or in it.

The head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko informed that the Regional Intensive Care Hospital from Mariupol has started working in Kyiv. According to him, the staff of the medical institution helped people as long as they could, and later managed to evacuate from the occupied city to the territory of Ukraine and is now working for Mariupol residents and IDPs from other occupied cities of Donetsk oblast.

Ukrposhta postal company announced that they are putting into circulation a postage stamp “PTN PNKH!” dedicated to the anniversary of russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine. It features one of the seven graffiti by the world-famous street artist Banksy – a knocked-out judoka painted on the wall of a destroyed house in Borodianka.

Zhytomyr oblast

Recently, seven brand new Mitsubishi L200 pickup trucks and 20 generators have been sent to Zhytomyr oblast. The aid in the amount of UAH 12.4 million was provided by the BGV Charitable Foundation. The vehicles will be handed over to the military, rescue and law enforcement agencies of the oblast. The generators will be used to support defense infrastructure facilities.

A fire show and a fair were arranged in the center of Zhytomyr to raise funds for an ambulance for the pyrotechnic unit of the Zhytomyr Oblast State Emergency Service. It is planned to purchase a new professional vehicle with proper equipment to replace the one in which Zhytomyr rescuers were blown up in newly reclaimed Kherson oblast on December 24, 2022. The idea of the event belongs to the family and colleagues of rescuer Dmytro Krasnoshchekov, killed when performing his duties.

Sumy oblast

The Sumy Regional Military Administration reported that over the past 24 hours, five communities of Sumy oblast came under enemy fire. In total, 78 shells were fired at Myropillia, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Nova Sloboda, and Yunakivka communities.

According to the Sumy Regional Military Administration, more than 3,000 servicemen and more than 600 civilians in Sumy oblast have completed a combat first aid course. The course started in April 2022. During lessons, medical workers, educators, volunteers, and employees of government agencies learned how to provide medical care.

According to the police of Sumy oblast, combat first aid training for police officers was held in Bilopillya. The training was conducted by a combat medic from the border guard detachment. The purpose of the training is to improve the knowledge and skills of law enforcement officers. Police officers received applied tips on how to assess casualties’ condition under fire and evacuate them to a medical facility.

The Sumy City Council reported that a photo exhibition dedicated to the liberation of Sumy oblast from the occupiers has opened in Romantyka Art Center in Sumy. 43 photos taken by two local photographers, Svitlana Smyrnova and Olha Vovk, show the first days of the oblast liberation. According to the authors of the photos, they collected the materials risking their lives. Some photos were taken during shelling and explosions.

The Okhtyrka City Council reported that Okhtyrka City Hospital receives a high-powered generator from philanthropists. The aid was provided by the international organization Electricians Without Borders, and the gift was delivered by volunteers from the Fortechny Charitable Foundation.

Chernihiv oblast

The “North” Operational Command reported that yesterday the enemy opened mortar fire on three settlements of Semenivka community in Chernihiv oblast: Yanzhulivka, Karpovychi, and Tymonovychi. In total, there were 24 shells fired. Four houses were damaged.

According to the “North” Operational Command, the enemy continues to attack the border area of Chernihiv oblast. In the morning, there were three shells fired in the area of Yeline village of the Snovsk community, and 17 shells – in Senkivka village of the Horodnya community. Most likely, a self-propelled artillery system was used.

Residents of border villages in Chernihiv oblast have received food packages from benefactors. Food packages have been sent to Snovsk and Semenivka communities affected by russian shelling. The aid is provided by the Nadiia Charitable Foundation and Razom for Ukraine.

More than 700 unemployed people in Chernihiv oblast were engaged in community service as part of the Army of Recovery project. This community service includes debris removal, repair and restoration works, construction of defense structures, camouflage net weaving, etc. In 2023, the project is being implemented in 9 territorial communities of the oblast, and 95 unemployed people are currently participating in it.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

According to Head of the regional council Mykola Lukashuk, the occupiers struck Marhanets and Chervonohryhorivka TCs of Nikopol region with heavy artillery. 

The first Digital Hub in Dnipro was opened for internally displaced persons from Luhansk oblast. This is a place where a resident of Luhansk region can visit and get free access to the Internet, consultations on individual opportunities and services of DIIA, as well as work with data. Later, they plan to hold free educational training on the basics of digital literacy at the premises.

Relying on the information provided by Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, six museums of Dnipropetrovsk oblast received humanitarian support such as generators, dryers, packaging materials, flashlights, and power banks. The most needed items were provided by the Center for Aid to the Arts of Ukraine and the Ministry of Culture of Germany. 

Vinnytsia oblast

​​American pilot and volunteer Mark Lindquist came to Vinnytsia to see the consequences of the war. In the US, a man lived in a tent for three weeks during the cold weather as a sign of solidarity with the Ukrainian military and, thanks to donations, collected almost $100,000 for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He also called for the transfer of combat aircraft, which today are extremely important for victory.​​

Vinnytsia emergency workers received charitable assistance from the non-governmental international French organization ACTED, whose representatives handed over four modern pneumatic frame tents for the garrison’s needs. The tentscan be deployed in the shortest possible time – in 5-10 minutes. The benefactors also handed over a new boat and equipment for the group of radiation, chemical, and biological protection.

Kirovohrad oblast

The photo exhibition “Stories from the occupied Crimea” containing 22 photos of Ukrainian reporters opened in Kropyvnytskyi . The photos were taken from 2014 to 2019, while the authors traveled to Crimea. The russian occupation administration banned them from visiting the peninsula for a period of 10 to 35 years.

A new place of compact accommodation for internally displaced persons has opened in Znamianka. The city government built a new home for IDPs in cooperation with international organizations. Large families and pensioners evacuated from the hottest spots of the front have already settled in the shelter.

Cherkasy oblast

According to head of the Cherkasy State Administration Ihor Taburets, Cherkasy has handed over valuable reinforcements: 2 buggies, a pickup truck, 5 armored tactical laptops, 6 medical backpacks, 15 generators, 2 Starlinks, and other necessary items. The independent Danish humanitarian organization Bevar Ukraine handed over 2 cars, 20 special blood heating systems, 10 powerful drones, chemical heaters and other valuable cargo for the needs of the defenders.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

The enemy attacked the suburbs of Zaporozhzhia. The information about the destruction and victims is currently being clarified.

Yesterday, the enemy shelled the positions of Ukrainian defenders 146 times, using tanks, rocket and barrel artillery along the entire line of contact. The occupiers shelled civilian infrastructure in the settlements of Malynivka, Mala Tokmachka, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Charivne, Orikhiv, Olhivske, Novoandriivka, Bilohiria, Scherbaky, Staroukrainka, Pavlivka, Novodanylivka, Stepove, Kamianske.

Students are forced to sing the anthem of the aggressor country before the start of classes in the schools in Tokmak. They are also forced to make postcards for the anniversary of the large-scale invasion with words of support and gratitude to the russian army which invaded our land.

71 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast remain without electricity supply. Most of them are residents of front-line communities. The largest number of consumers without electricity is in Huliapole region – 12,311, in Orikhiv region – 10,041, in the Stepnohirsk community – 1,648 , and 1 consumer in Zaporizhzhia.

The occupiers brought over 600 conscripts and cadets from russia to the Zaporizhzhia NPP. They also continue to build fortifications around the plant’s power units and its dry storage for spent nuclear fuel. In addition, the occupiers denied access to Ukrainian personnel and representatives of the IAEA present at the ZNPP site to the NPP.

Mykolaiv oblast

Yesterday, at 6:20 p.m., a private house and farm buildings were damaged as a result of artillery shelling of the Kutsurub community by russian army. The residents of the house received minor injuries. Also, on the evening of February 19, at 6:27 p.m. and 6:43 p.m., the water area and port infrastructure of the Ochakiv community were under artillery fire. There are no casualties.

Odesa oblast

As of February 20, there are 7 enemy ships on combat duty in the Black Sea. There is 1 Kalibr cruise missile carrier with 4 missiles on board. There is 1 enemy ship in the Sea of Azov, and 10 enemy ships – 10 in the Mediterranean Sea.

The permissible draft of vessels was doubled to 6.5 meters at the mouth of Bystre in Odesa oblast. This will help to increase the cargo flow through the Danube ports.

Kherson oblast

There are facts of the use of prohibited incendiary and phosphorus projectiles in Kherson oblast. Thus, as a result of shelling of the village of Burhunka, 3 people were killed and 8 people, including 3 children, were injured. The victims were hospitalized with numerous injuries, their condition is serious, but all the necessary assistance is provided.

At night, the russian army shelled the territory of the Kherson community 8 times. The Ostriv microdistrict, the villages of Antonivka and Inzhenerne were under fire. There were no killed or injured.

Yesterday, the russian occupiers shelled peaceful settlements in Kherson oblast 75 times. Enemy shells hit residential buildings. As a result of russian aggression, 3 people were killed, 8 people received injuries of varying degrees of severity. Three children were injured by russian shelling: boys aged 8 and 13, as well as a 10-year-old girl. 6 fires broke out in Kherson oblast as a result of russian shelling.

A local resident was seriously injured while trying to disassemble unexploded ammunition in Kherson oblast. It detonated and exploded in the man’s hands. The victim’s right upper limb was torn off, and he also received multiple shrapnel wounds to his abdomen and thighs.

A powerful generator was delivered to the Nova Oleksandrivka community from the American organization Project HOPE – The People-to-People Health Foundation, Inc. The device will help restore centralized water supply in the village of Mykhailivka. From now on, the residents of the village will have one of the basic services that they lost due to the damage to the power grids by the russian occupiers.

Volyn oblast

The safety area was operating in the Lutsk Shopping Center for the fourth weekend in a row. Rescue workers, pyrotechnicians, divers, medics, psychologists, and employees of the regional educational and methodological center worked for children and adults.

Zakarpattia oblast

The company Vodokanal of the city of Uzhhorod purchased 4 diesel generators with a capacity of 44 kW with the allocated budget funds under the “Program of support for communal enterprises of the city of Uzhhorod” for 2018-2022. Received generators will be distributed among the company’s facilities. The equipment will help ensure the operation of water supply facilities in the event of a possible blackout and power outages.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

Mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk, Ruslan Martsinkiv, announced that Starlinks, laptops, power banks for the 52nd Rifle Battalion and a car for the 80th Brigade were sent from the city.

A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Ivano-Frankivsk regional branch of the All-Ukrainian Association of Local Governments Association of Cities of Ukraine, territorial communities of the Ivano-Frankivsk district and the Voluntary Fire Brigade in the village of Kadlub Turavskyi, Opole Voivodeship (the Republic of Poland). The memorandum provides for cooperation in the field of civil protection of the population.

Lviv oblast

The Lviv RMA, the German non-governmental organization German Association of People’s Universities in Ukraine and the Public Union Ukrainian Adult Education Association signed a Tripartite Memorandum on mutual understanding and cooperation in the field of adult education. It is planned to use the potential of educational institutions, libraries and employment centers of the oblast even more.

Invincibility Centers in Strii region received 10 modern solid fuel convection ovens, 11 heating fans, 235 warm blankets, 121 lighting lamps, 5 thermopots for brewing coffee and tea, 225 sets of antiseptics, provided by UNHCR Ukraine – the UN Refugee Agency in Ukraine, the International Health and Environmental Fund NEEKA Ukraine with the assistance of the Department of Economic Policy of the Lviv RMA.

A charity fair was held in the Lyceum of the village of Uhersko, Strii region, to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Students, their parents, lyceum employees and local residents took part in the event. Soldiers, specifically from the territorial defense, as well as opera singer and People’s Artist of Ukraine Oleh Lykhach visited the fair. During the event, it was possible to collect UAH 60K. All funds were donated to the volunteers of the Angels of the Armed Forces of Ukraine CF.

The RMA reported that there are over 180 objects on the territory of Lviv oblast subject to decommunization Some of them will be transferred as exhibits to the future museum of totalitarian regimes.

Rivne oblast

The Headquarters of the Regional Command of the Terro-Defense Forces West will be based in Rivne. Head of the Rivne RMA, Vitalii Koval, and commander of the “West” Territorial Defense Forces Oleksandr Kiaho discussed further plans. 

As part of her trip to Rivne oblast, Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereschuk held meetings with the leadership of the oblast, territorial communities and representatives of international humanitarian organizations. Further actions to solve issues of IDPs, living in the territory of the oblast were discussed.

The RMA reported that medical service information will become more available for IDPs living in Rivne oblast.

Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk visited the institution in the village of Orlivka in the Sarny region and brought laptops. Over 300 wards are occupied there, 173 of them by IDPs with disabilities.

Ternopil oblast

The RMA reported that the Regional Defense Council decided to recommend to local self-government bodies to continue lighting the street and road network until 11:00 p.m., but its power will be reduced to 50%.

Ternopil oblast is among the winners of the Cohesion and Regional Development of Ukraine (UCORD) project. Its implementation is planned for 12 years with a total budget of 18 million Swiss francs.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

There are three official headquarters in Khmelnytskyi, where the aid is provided to displaced persons. Food kits, purchased with the funds of the local budget, are issued there. IDPs can get them once a month. About 300 people visit the IDP assistance headquarters per day.

Chernivtsi oblast

The Chernivtsi Regional Psychiatric Hospital received a generator with a capacity of 110 kWh provided by the European Regional Office of the World Health Organization with the assistance of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

The RMA reported that the Khotyn community received the school bus from foreign partners, the Polish city of Zhagan and the German city of Teltov.

IDPs currently living in the Boian Territorial Community received humanitarian aid, namely food and hygiene products, provided by the Chernivtsi district organization of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine.

The RMA reported that the Chernivtsi Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention purchased a Jackery portable charging station and a BLUETTI portable power station, which will be sent to defenders on the front lines. 

International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)

The US President Joe Biden, during his visit to the capital of Ukraine, announced that Ukraine will receive a new $500 million military aid package, which will be announced tomorrow. The aid will include more military equipment, including artillery ammunition, more Javelins and howitzers.

“Together, we collected 700 tanks and thousands of armored vehicles, a thousand artillery systems and over 2 million artillery ammunition, over 50 missile systems, air defense equipment,” the US President Joe Biden said.

Together with the US President Joe Biden, national security advisor Jake Sullivan and Director of the International Monetary Fund Kristalina Georgieva came to Kyiv for a visit.

Ambassador of Ukraine to Israel Yevhen Korniichuk announced that an Israeli parliamentary delegation led by Head of the Defense and International Policy Committee, Yuliy Edelshtein, arrived in Kyiv.

Prime Minister of Japan Fumio Kishida announced the government’s intention to allocate another $5.5 billion to Ukraine for the restoration of infrastructure damaged by the russian occupiers.

The US will announce additional anti-russian sanctions this week.

Volodymyr Zelensky had a phone conversation with President of France Emmanuel Macron. They discussed defense cooperation and bringing peace closer.

Volodymyr Zelensky reported that New York, the US and almost 60 other countries will submit a resolution in support of peace in Ukraine to the General Assembly.

The King of Great Britain Charles III met with the Ukrainian military training in Wiltshire.

Rescuers of Poland’s emergency medical care system, who have helped Ukraine since the war began, were honored with state awards of the Republic of Poland. The Lviv Regional Emergency Center received the Golden Award. During the event, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Lviv Regional Emergency Center and seven Emergency Centers in Poland, which will further develop educational projects, cross-border security, communication, logistical assistance and adaptation of the Emergency Center system of Ukraine to European standards.

From March 4, an adaptation of the Ukrainian TV series Servant of the People will be broadcast on TV screens in Poland. Like the Ukrainian original, the Polish Servant will tell the story of a simple teacher who was lucky enough to become the president of the country and forced to fight corruption in power.
