The enemy continues to ignore the laws and customs of war, uses terror tactics, launches strikes, and shells both military and civilian targets.
During the day of December 15, there were 82 combat clashes.
The enemy launched a total of 2 missile strikes, 11 air strikes and 17 MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements. Unfortunately, the russian terrorist attacks have resulted in civilian casualties and injuries. Private residential buildings as well as other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged. Today, Ukrainian air defense forces shot down a Kh-59 guided missile.
The operational situation in eastern and southern Ukraine remains difficult.
Towards Volyn and Polissia, there are no significant changes. No signs of formation of an offensive group were noticed. Certain units of the armed forces of belarus continue their missions in the areas bordering Ukraine.
Towards Siversk and Sloboda, the russian army maintains its military presence in the areas of russia bordering Ukraine. The enemy continues its sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shelling Ukrainian settlements from the territory of russia and increases the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine. Around 20 settlements came under enemy artillery and mortar fire, including Krasnyi Khutir, Hremiach (Chernihiv oblast), Kruzhok, Volfyne, Pokrovka (Sumy oblast), Chervona Zoria, Kozacha Lopan, Lukiantsi, and Zelene (Kharkiv oblast).
Towards Kupiansk, Ukrainian defenders repelled 8 enemy attacks in the vicinity of Syn’kivka (Kharkiv oblast). The invaders fired artillery and mortars at around 10 settlements, including Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Kupiansk, Ivanivka, and Berestove (Kharkiv oblast).
Towards Lyman, Ukrainian defense forces repelled 5 attacks east of Terny, Yampolivka (Donetsk oblast) and Makiivka (Luhansk oblast). The occupiers fired artillery and mortars at around 10 settlements, including Nevske, Bilohorivka, Serebrianka forestry (Luhansk oblast), Torske, Serebrianka, and Verkhnokamianske (Donetsk oblast).
Towards Bakhmut, Ukrainian defenders repelled 15 attacks near Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka and Andriivka (Donetsk oblast). Around 10 settlements, including Vasiukivka, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, Andriivka, and Niu York (Donetsk oblast), came under artillery and mortar fire.
Towards Avdiivka, the enemy made unsuccessful attempts to breach Ukrainian defense. Ukrainian defenders repelled 17 attacks in the area east of Novobakhmutivka, Avdiivka, and 12 attacks east of Stepove, south of Sieverne and Pervomaiske (Donetsk oblast). The enemy fired artillery and mortars at more than 10 settlements, including Sukha Balka, Keramik, Stepove, Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske (Donetsk oblast).
Towards Marinka, Ukrainian defense forces continue to hold back the enemy in the vicinities of Krasnohorivka, Marinka and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk oblast), The enemy, with air support, launched 12 failed attacks on positions of Ukrainian defenders in the area. The settlements of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Marinka, Pobieda, and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk oblast) were under artillery and mortar fire.
Towards Shakhtarske, Ukrainian defenders repelled 2 attacks in the vicinity of Staromaiorske (Donetsk oblast). Around 10 settlements, including Vodiane, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, and Urozhaine (Donetsk oblast), came under artillery and mortar fire.
Towards Zaporizhzhia, Ukrainian defense forces repelled 7 enemy attacks west of Novopokrovka and south of Robotyne (Zaporizhzhia oblast). More than 20 settlements, including Novodanylivka, Orikhiv, Novoandriivka, Mali Shcherbaky, P’yatykhatky, and Plavni (Zaporizhzhia oblast) came under artillery and mortar fire.
Towards Kherson, the enemy fired artillery at the settlements of Krynky, Ivanivka, Tiahynka, Antonivka (Kherson oblast) and the city of Kherson.
Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold their ground on the left bank of the Dnipro River (Kherson oblast) and inflict fire on the enemy.
The Ukrainian Air Force launched 7 strikes on concentrations of enemy troops, weapons and military equipment.
Ukrainian missile troops hit 4 buildups of enemy troops, weapons and military equipment, and 2 ammunition depots.
Founder of Save Ukraine Mykola Kuleba says that 4 more children were returned from the temporarily occupied territories. The parents of one of the children serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The children are now safe on the free territory of Ukraine.
Andriy Chernyak, representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate, reports that more than 470 K russian soldiers are at the front. Among them, about 30 K russian guards are stationed in the occupied territories and at the front.
Recent war events in the east of Ukraine
Kharkiv oblast
Oleh Syniehubov, Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported that an unknown explosive device detonated in the hands of a 15-year-old teenager in Izium region. The teenager sustained traumatic amputation of the fingers of his right hand and a finger of his left hand.
About 20 settlements in Kharkiv oblast were under artillery and mortar attacks: Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka of Kupiansk region, Vovchansk of Chuhuiv region, Vetarynarne of Kharkiv region, Huriv Kozachok of Bohodukhiv region.
A building of a kindergarten was damaged as a result of hostile shelling in Kupyansk-Vuzlovyi at 1:45 pm. There were no casualties.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 15 enemy attacks near Synkivka, Kupiansk region.
Pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service examined more than 2.1 hectares in Kharkiv, Izium, Bohodukhiv, Kupiansk and Chuhuiv regions over the day. They defused 62 explosive ordnance.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 431 missing persons, including 75 children, have been registered in Kharkiv oblast.
Olha Bezpalova, Director of the Regional Department of Education, informed that 24 schools in Kharkiv oblast may start offline learning from 1 September, but the decision has not yet been made. According to her, these are schools in Lozova and Krasnohrad regions.
Donetsk oblast
The General Staff said that russian troops attacked more than 70 times towards Lyman, Marinka, Bakhmut and Avdiivka on 14 December. At the same time, russian troops did not storm towards Shakhtarsk.
The press service of Donetsk police reported that russian army attacked 6 settlements. The invaders shelled Avdiivka, Toretsk cities, Shcherbynivka settlement, Lastochkyne, Novobakhmutivka and Bohdanivka villages. ALso russians attacked from aircraft, Grad multiple rocket launchers, artillery and tanks. 17 civilian objects were damaged, including a residential building, cars, administrative buildings, a cafe, a bank and a power line.
According to Donetsk Regional Military Administration towards Donetsk, Kurakhove was shelled three times, an apartment building, a private sector and a market being damaged. In Marinka community, Krasnohorivka, Novomykhailivka, Kostiantynivka and Pobieda were shelled. Avdiivka suffered from russian aircraft, Grad rocket launchers and tanks.
Towards Horlivka, russians dropped two guided aerial bombs on Toretsk, damaging 10 buildings, 7 administrative buildings and 2 infrastructure facilities. In Chasiv Yar community, 2 apartment buildings, 2 private buildings and 2 industrial buildings were damaged.
Towards Lysychansk, Verkhnokamianske and Pereizne of Zvanivka community were shelled. Three streets were hit in Siversk. Torske and Zarichne of Lyman comunity were targeted.
There were two explosions in Mariupol at night. According to Petro Andriushchenko, Mayor’s Councillor, the first hit was at the so-called concrete plant and the second hit the location of military equipment and part of the air defence system.
Also the russian army wants to capture Marinka to gain access to the road towards Kurakhove. However, referring to British intelligence, a breakthrough is very doubtful.
More than 700 people have been rescued by paramedics in Donetsk oblast since the start of the full-scale war. Currently, 10 groups of police paramedics are working in the region.
Vadim Batii, Chairman of the Board of Donetskoblhaz, said that 60 settlements cannot yet be connected to gas supply. Residents of 110 towns, villages and settlements have gas.
Luhansk oblast
According to Luhansk Regional Military Administration, the invaders stormed east of Terny near Nevske yesterday. They continue to use assault units during the attacks. Reserves from assault battalions formed from former prisoners have also been deployed. In some areas, the eastern front is characterised by varying distances between our fortifications and the enemy’s defences. In some places, due to the considerable distance, russians are forced to bring infantry in armoured vehicles. But in Serebrianka forest, this resource is limited. Yesterday the invaders launched an air strike on the territory of this forestry and also used artillery and mortars. Nevske and Bilohorivka were hit by enemy artillery.
In the absence of mobile phone service in occupied Rubizhne, people have to go to the hospital to call an ambulance. Considering the length of the city, it takes a long time. A week ago, a sick woman did not have time to wait for doctors. It takes more than three hours for an ambulance to reach patients.
The so-called “lpr” deputies approved a pseudo-law that allows the sale of state mines without bidding. This means that anyone can buy a mine. During the occupation, coal mining enterprises were not developed.

Kyiv oblast
According to Kyiv City State Administration, a section of the main water supply system in Dniprovskyi district has been repaired. It was damaged by a fragment of a downed russian missile during the shelling of Kyiv on December 13. During the repair, residents were connected to other networks, so water supply was not disrupted.
Vadym Tokar, Head of Makariv village, reported that two hospital departments had been repaired in the village. They were damaged during the full-scale invasion of russian troops. In the first month of the war, russian shelling smashed all the windows and doors of the medical facility and damaged the roof. The repairs enabled the hospital’s 85 inpatient beds to function properly.
On December 13, municipal services were trained in the capital. They practised operational actions in the event of an emergency as a result of russian troops shelling. Utility workers modelled prompt connection of important social facilities to mobile boiler houses in case of a major heat source shutdown.
Vitalii Klychko, Mayor of Kyiv, reported that Kyiv City Council has approved the capital’s budget for 2024, taking into account the realities and needs of martial law. The priority is to ensure the operation of critical infrastructure. The budget provides UAH 1 billion to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Oleksandr Markushyn, Mayor of Irpin, reported that 168 residents of Irpin community received certificates to restore their completely destroyed housing. At a meeting of the city council’s executive committee, another 15 certificates were approved for those affected by the full-scale invasion of the region.
A manual on wartime security for activists and volunteers was presented in Kyiv. It aims emphasise the importance of continuously improving the physical security of target audiences and provides the necessary tools for this. The presentation of the Physical Security Manual for civil society organisations, activists and volunteers took place at Ukrinform.
Zhytomyr oblast
According to Zhytomyr City Council, another 9 drones purchased at the expense of the local budget were sent to the frontline from Zhytomyr. 8 DJI Mavic 3s and 1 Matrice 30 will be sent towards Bakhmut and Avdiivka.
A unique exhibition of paintings has opened in Zhytomyr RMA. It features the works of the Ukrainian military. The exhibition features a wide range of paintings from vivid landscapes to delicate animalistic works. Some of the paintings were created during the rehabilitation of the military after their injuries.
The Northern Border Guard Detachment reported that residents of the village of Velyka Khaicha in Ovruch community collected aid for the defenders. The collection of essentials and goodies to support the military was initiated by the family of the fallen border guard Denys Zubriichuk.
Sumy oblast
According to the Sumy RMA, over the past day, russians fired 19 times at the border areas and settlements of Sumy oblast. There were 82 explosions. Krasnopillia, Bilopillia, Nova sloboda, Shalyhine, Esman, Seredyna-Buda, Druzhbivka and Znob-Novhorodske communities were shelled. The enemy attacked with mortars, also carried out artillery shelling (2 attacks) and tank shelling (8 attacks) in the territory of Seredyna-Buda community and used small arms. The night in Sumy oblast passed without any attacks.
Sumy RMA reported that the oblast is nearing the end of implementing a number of projects funded from the budget. Construction of 13 shelters in secondary education institutions in Sumy oblast is almost complete.
Chernihiv oblast
The State Border Guard Service reports that russian troops launched 42 mortar and rocket artillery attacks on the border of Chernihiv oblast. Two communities were under enemy fire: Snovsk – 9 mortar attacks in the area of Kliusy; Semenivka – 8 MLRS and 25 mortar attacks in the area of Zaliznyi Mist, Karpovychi and Mykolaivka.
Chernihiv RMA reports that 3 communities in the oblast (Sosnytsia, Bobrovytsia, and Mykhailo-Kotsiubynske) are among the ten selected across Ukraine to participate in the Ukraine Early Recovery project. They will receive support in preparing recovery and development plans, as well as relevant project and cost estimates.
The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy reports that the UNESCO Committee for the Protection of Cultural Heritage has included the Transfiguration Cathedral of Chernihiv in the International List of Cultural Property under Temporary Enhanced Protection. As a result of russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, more than 1,700 cultural infrastructure facilities and more than 870 cultural heritage sites have been damaged or destroyed.
Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
Mykola Lukashuk, Head of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Council announced that at night the enemy shelled Nikopol with artillery. Windows of a local enterprise building are damaged. In Nikopol, a 16-year-old girl and an 83-year-old woman were injured. In total, during the day the occupiers shelled Nikopol 4 times. More than a dozen shells were fired. A store, 14 private houses, 10 outbuildings, 2 cars, 7 greenhouses, 4 power lines, a gas pipeline, garages, and fences were damaged.
Vinnytsia oblast
A mobile bath and laundry complex was sent to the defenders. It is the fourteenth such vehicle sent. The manufactured bath is installed on a car, which is quite maneuverable and can withstand heavy loads and broken roads.
Olena Chornobryvenko, Director of the Harmony rehabilitation center reported that its employees and visitors baked ten kilograms of cookies for the defenders as part of the Box of Love campaign.
Kirovohrad oblast
Andrii Raikovych, Head of Kirovohrad RMA announced that during the air alert, the sky defenders destroyed a missile in Kropyvnytskyi district.
Poltava oblast
The Air Force Command of the AFU reported that in Poltava oblast, a UAV was shot down. It is known that the downed UAV fell on the enterprise territory in Horishni Plavni, Kremenchuk region.
Cherkasy oblast
In Uman, the reconstruction of a house destroyed by a russian missile hit on April 28 has begun. This project is financed by the Fund for eliminating armed aggression consequences.
Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine
Zaporizhzhia oblast
Yesterday, the enemy launched 87 strikes on 18 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast. Occupiers shelled Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne with MLRS, attacked Novodarivka, Chervone, Mala Tokmachka, and Poltavka with 5 drones, and targeted Preobrazhenka with an aviation bomb. The enemy made 79 artillery attacks along the territory of Huliaipole, Bilohiria, Levadne, Novodanylivka, Poltavka, Robotyne, Piatyhatky, Stepove, Lobkove, and other frontline towns and villages. There were 3 reports of destruction.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 9 enemy attacks north of Pryiutne, west and northwest of Verbove towards Zaporizhzhia. Simultaneously, Ukrainian defenders continue active operations towards Melitopol, inflicting losses on the occupying forces in personnel and equipment, and exhausting the enemy along the entire front line.
The combatants of the strike UAV unit of the 108th Separate Brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces destroyed a depot of russian military anti-tank mines towards Zaporizhzhia. Ukrainian forces targeted it with a Ukrainian-produced kamikaze drone called Molfar. It took four minutes to destroy the depot.
On December 15, partisans detonated a railway train in the temporarily occupied Melitopol. It transported ammunition and fuel from Crimea to Melitopol and Dniprorudne on a daily basis. According to the information from the Center of National Resistance, this train exported ore, grain, and damaged equipment from the temporarily occupied territories on the return journey. Currently, the occupiers are trying to conceal the sabotage and searching for partisans.
Mykolaiv oblast
Vitaliii Kim, Head of Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, reports that on the night of December 15, 8 russian Shahed-131/136 UAVs were shot down in Mykolaiv oblast. russian forces also launched strikes on the city of Ochakiv and the waters of Ochakiv community. There are no reported casualties or injuries.
Viktor Moiseiev, Director of Mykolaiv City Center for Veterans Support, says that on December 14, families of captured and missing soldiers from Voznesensk community in Mykolaiv oblast met with representatives of the Coordination Headquarters and the Center for Veterans Support. Odesa oblast
The Embassy of Switzerland in Ukraine has delivered two Toyota vehicles and five Mercedes vehicles equipped with necessary medical equipment to various regions. Two of these vehicles have joined the fleet of the Emergency Aid and Disaster Medicine Center in Odesa oblast.
The Embassy of the United Kingdom has selected 10 territorial communities in Ukraine to receive assistance from the British government in developing recovery plans. As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine, among them is Karolino-Buhaz community in Bilhorod-Dnistrovsk region of Odesa oblast, .
Since September, 241 vessels have exported nearly 8.6 million tons of goods, including 6 million tons of agricultural products. In November, the number of vessels increased to 110, compared to 52 in October and 5 in September. This surpasses the annual figure of the Black Sea Grain Initiative, with 84 vessels passing through the “grain corridor” in November 2022. Exports through the new Ukrainian corridor in December may reach 5 million tons, significantly exceeding last year’s figure when 3.8 million tons were exported through the “grain corridor” in December. This information was presented by Deputy Minister of Development of Communities, Territories, and Infrastructure Iurii Vaskov during a concluding meeting of the Ministry’s team with heads of diplomatic missions and the public.

Kherson oblast
Roman Mrochko, Head of Kherson City Military Administration, reports that the russian army shelled Kherson community, injuring two women. Both were hospitalized with injuries of varying severity.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out 102 shelling attacks, launching 673 projectiles from mortars, artillery, Grad systems, tanks, UAVs, and aviation. The city of Kherson was targeted with 30 shells. Against the backdrop of improving weather conditions, the enemy conducted 5 airstrikes using X-31P missiles and 25 guided aerial bombs towards the populated areas of Naddniprianske, Dariivka, Prydniprovske, and Krynyky. The russians also made 11 attacks using FPV drones on the right bank of Kherson oblast.
The enemy is attempting to increase artillery pressure, escalating the number of shelling attacks. Over the past day, Kherson was hit 6 times, and other areas, including Antonivka, Chornobaivka, Stepanivka, Stanislav, Tiahynka in Kherson oblast were shelled. 1 person was killed, and 2 others were injured. The police have opened 18 criminal cases regarding war crimes committed by russian military in Kherson oblast.
The enemy continues to strengthen and equip its positions in the southern areas, bringing in reserves. The defense forces continue to hold positions on the left bank of the Dnipro, delivering effective counter-fire to the enemy. The Ukrainian defenders eliminated 24 occupiers, 1 cannon, 2 observation posts and 3 units of armoured vehicles.
An additional 97 demining groups are working in Kherson oblast, and another 80 sappers are expected to arrive soon. Over 153K hectares have been cleared of mines.
A resident of Beryslav region, Valerii Kniazev, manufactures “Buryzhuika” stoves for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since the village lacks electricity, he performs welding work using a generator.
Building materials to repair buildings damaged by shelling were delivered to Beryslav community. The humanitarian organization Proliska handed them over for emergency repairs from UNHCR Ukraine – the UN Refugee Agency in Ukraine.
Mobile primary medical care teams visited Kherson oblast. In just one week, over a hundred residents of Kherson oblast visited specialists, underwent cardiology examinations, and received prescriptions.
The Embassy of Switzerland in Ukraine handed over a wheeled excavator-loader, fire hoses, pry bars, and oxygen apparatus to rescue workers in Kherson oblast. This assistance will significantly facilitate the work of specialists, help quickly replace rescue equipment in case of malfunction, and effectively cope with the consequences of russian shelling, participating in emergency rescue operations.

The RMA reported that two-day consultations have started to develop the National Plan for the Implementation of the Strategy for Ensuring the Right of Every Child in Ukraine to Grow in a Family Environment for 2024-2026.
The Owl’s Nest humanitarian aid center provided assistance to IDPs, namely 40 packages with necessary items for children under 1 year old, 270 packages with food and hygiene kits, clothes, shoes, bed linen and dishes (1,8K units were issued) thanks to the Hungarian Ecumenical Aid Service, PDUM Partnerschaft Deutschland-Ukraine/Moldova e. V., Luftfahrt ohne Grenzen / Wings of Help e.V. and other benefactors.
Ivano-Frankivsk oblast
The Order “For Courage”, III class (posthumously) was awarded to Senior Soldier Nazariy Hafiychuk, sergeant Major Vitalii Mazur, senior Sergeant Oleh Osadchyi, and senior soldier Viktor Gurb. The medals “To the Defender of the Fatherland” (posthumously) were presented to the family of Junior Sergeant Dmytro Garan and soldier Vasyl Prydka.
In Ivano-Frankivsk, a safety classroom was opened at Lyceum #17. It contains four safety spaces – fire safety, mine danger, road traffic rules and first aid.
Lviv oblast
Mykola Tobeichyk, a participant in hostilities with disabilities as a result of the war, received the key to the house in the village of Rudno. The soldier defended Ukraine from 2014 to 2016 in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. He was seriously wounded while performing a combat mission near Novohanivka, Luhansk oblast. The house was purchased at the expense of the state budget.
During the meeting of Chervonohrad City Council session, 16 defenders of Ukraine were posthumously awarded with the Honorary Citizen of Chervonohrad City Community title.
On the basis of Obroshinsky school, a Safety Classroom was opened. It includes traffic rules, psychological relief, protection of Ukraine, mine safety, fire safety, and first aid spaces. A multimedia shooting range is also installed. The implementation of the project was financed with funds from the state and local budgets.
Mobile fire groups that protect the skies of Lviv oblast from drones received a car thanks to Yavoriv RMA, Naftohazopromysl and Lvivhazvydobuvannya.
The III degree “For Courage” Order was handed over to Andrii Buin, father of a fallen soldier from Yavoriv region. The hero was a border guard who was killed on January 29, 2023 during a combat mission in the village of Blahodatne in Donetsk oblast.
Mykhailo Semkiv and Andrii Pentsak, defenders from Chervonohrad region, were posthumously awarded the III degree “For Courage” Order.
In Lviv region, Volodymyr Badz, Ivan Drebot, Mykhailo Kalynyevich, Vitalii Kalynych, Volodymyr Kovalskyi, Yurii Mizunskyi, Ivan Mudrak, Volodymyr Pavlyshyn and Roman Chavs were posthumously awarded the III degree “Order of Courage”. Nazar Laba was awarded the III degree Order of Courage. Vasyl Kulai and Volodymyr Musievskyi received the Defender of the Fatherland medal and Yurii Loskorich – the “For Military Service to Ukraine” medal.
A master class on making Christmas tree decorations with Yavoriv painting was held in Yavoriv. Soldiers of the 24th bridge named after King Danylo also joined the event. The decorations will be used to decorate the main Christmas tree of the city.
Rivne oblast
The 14th separate rifle battalion received a bath and laundry complex on wheels from Rivne. Thanks to friends from the USA and the Good Samaritan Christian mission, there are 5 such complexes. Next week, several baths will be handed over to the military in Kherson oblast.
In Rivne oblast, 378 medics provide mental health services. Currently, mental health services are provided free of charge at primary, secondary and tertiary levels in almost 150 medical institutions.
Ternopil oblast
Zbaraz Lyceum of Ternopil Regional Council opened a Safety Classroom, which was organized as part of the All-Ukrainian Safety Classroom project. Interactive equipment from Ternopil RMA was handed over to the institution.
Ternopil Drama Theater hosted a holiday for the children of military personnel. 500 children together with their parents watched the Cinderella New Year’s fairy tale, ate goodies and received Christmas gifts.

Yesterday, the enemy attacked Khmelnytskyi with missiles. There were 2 explosions in Khmelnytskyi district. Appropriate services are working at the places where the rockets fell. In both cases, there were no injuries or damage.
At night, during the air alarm signal, 3 UAVs of the Shahed type were neutralized. There was no information about injuries or destruction.
Chernivtsi oblast
78 drones, 68 of which are of FPV type, worth 3,8 mln will be sent to the military from Chernivtsi thanks to the community budget.

The European Council made a decision to start negotiations with Ukraine on joining the European Union.
Ukrenergo received the status of a full member of ENTSO-E. The Ukrainian company will be able to influence the adoption of strategic decisions regarding the functioning and development of the pan-European energy network. Acquiring the status of a full member of ENTSO-E will strengthen Ukraine’s energy security.
The World Bank allocates $1,34 billion in additional funding to Ukraine. These funds will be directed to the payment of pensions, teachers’ salaries, support for IDPs and other priority expenditures of the state budget.
Germany sent a new aid package to Ukraine, which included: 2nd Patriot air defense system, 10 Bandvagn 206 tracked all-terrain vehicles, 7 390 ammunition for 155-mm artillery, 3 unmanned demining vehicles, 14 drone detection systems, eight Mercedes-Benz Zetros trucks, 4 trailers for 8×8 HX81 tractors, 8 Zetros tractors, over 47K rounds of 40 mm grenade launchers.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the US Embassy agreed on a plan for joint monitoring of weapons provided by partners. The document describes in detail how the surveillance of American equipment will take place. It was developed to carry out advanced monitoring of the end use of weapons.
The US House of Representatives has approved a bill authorising further assistance to Ukraine. This is the Ukraine Security Promotion Initiative, which is allocated $300 mln per fiscal year.
