The russian attacks on Kharkiv with a homing munition are a training exercise in new methods of terrorism. At the end of March, a strike with such a guided munition was recorded for the first time and it is a type of FAB-250, which has the destructive power of an S-300 missile but can fly further and be guided. At the same time, the projectile is very inaccurate, so there is a risk of destruction of critical infrastructure and residential buildings, which is recorded after each such strike.

The invaders use double-strike tactics to target civilian rescuers and other services who are the first to arrive at the scene. On 6 April, to the sound of raid alerts, Kharkiv paid tribute to rescuers Vladyslav Lohinov, Volodymyr Matiushenko and Serhii Baidalinov, who were killed in a double russian air strike on 4 April.
