Approximately 26% of the total area of Ukraine is currently potentially dangerous due to possible mining due to russian terror. This is about 156,000 km2 of territory, which is equal to the area of some other countries in the world, the State Emergency Service notes. Every day, both sappers and civilians, including children and the elderly, are killed and injured by explosive devices left by the terrorist state. According to the UN assessment, the scale of demining in Ukraine is comparable to that of the whole of Europe after 1945.
