Since the beginning of the day, the Russian aggressor has launched 57 attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
Artillery shelling of border areas continues. Today, the settlements of Korenok, Sopych, Tovstodubove, Bachivsk, Ryzhivka, and Malushyne in the Sumy region, as well as Mykolaivske and Yanzhulivka in the Chernihiv region, came under fire. Airstrikes targeted the settlements of Hlukhiv and Luzhky.
On the North Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, four combat engagements took place. The enemy carried out 31 attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian positions, including one strike using a multiple launch rocket system (MLRS).
On the South Slobozhanskyi direction, Russian forces twice attempted to break through Ukrainian defenses toward Karaichne and Khatnie. One engagement is still ongoing.
On the Kupiansk direction, the enemy launched two attacks toward Novoplatonivka.
On the Lyman direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled five enemy attempts to advance near Novoselivka, Zarichne, and Ozerne.
On the Sloviansk direction, the Defense Forces successfully stopped ten enemy assaults near Zakitne and toward Rai-Oleksandrivka and Kryva Luka.
No enemy offensive actions were recorded on the Kramatorsk direction.
On the Kostiantynivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled eight attacks near Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, and Ivanopillia. One engagement is ongoing.
On the Pokrovsk direction, Russian occupation forces attempted 11 times since the beginning of the day to dislodge Ukrainian troops from their positions. Ukrainian forces repelled enemy attacks in the areas of Nove Shakhove, Novooleksandrivka, Udachne, and toward Novyi Donbas and Novopavlivka. One combat engagement is still underway.
On the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy carried out one offensive action toward Andriivka-Klevtsove.
On the Huliaipole direction, the Defense Forces repelled 12 enemy attacks toward Zaliznychne and Charivne. One engagement remains ongoing.
On the Orikhiv direction, the enemy twice assaulted Ukrainian defensive positions toward Lukianivske.
On the Prydniprovske direction, no enemy attempts to advance were recorded.

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine
Kharkiv oblast
On the South Slobozhanskyi direction, over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces repelled 11 Russian attacks near Starytsia and toward Kozacha Lopan, Radkivka, and Lyman. On the Kupiansk direction, Russian troops attempted three advances toward Kolisnykivka, Bohuslavka, and Novoplatonivka.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a Russian command post near Lyman Pershyi in the Dvorichna community, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Meanwhile, fighting continues in the northern part of Kozacha Lopan. According to Viktor Trehubov, spokesperson for the Operational-Strategic Group of Forces “Khortytsia,” Russian troops are attempting to enter the settlement through Hraniv.
At dawn, Russian forces attacked the village of Zaluzhne in the Nova Vodolaha community. Four civilians sheltering in a single house were injured. Windows and doors in six apartment buildings were damaged. In addition, Russian forces launched a large-scale strike on Naftogaz production facilities in the Kharkiv and Poltava regions, using ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles.
Over the past day, the city of Kharkiv and 19 settlements across the region came under enemy attack. One civilian was killed and eight others were injured. In Izium, a 79-year-old woman was killed and three people were wounded. Additional casualties were reported in the Bohodukhiv, Staryi Saltiv, and Nova Vodolaha communities. Medical personnel also treated a woman who had been wounded during shelling on 23 June.
Russian forces attacked the Kharkiv region using various types of drones, including FPV drones, as well as rocket artillery. Damage was reported to a fuel station in Kharkiv, residential buildings, vehicles, railway infrastructure, additional fuel stations, power lines, and other civilian infrastructure across the Bohodukhiv, Izium, Kharkiv, Lozova, and Chuhuiv districts.
According to Hennadii Zahoruyko, Head of the Oskil community, approximately 40% of the community’s territory has been destroyed by Russian strikes since the beginning of 2026. The villages of Studenok, Yaremivka, and Oskil have suffered the most. These communities endured six months of Russian occupation and active combat during 2022.

Over the past 24 hours, the transit evacuation center in Lozova received 221 evacuees. Since the center began operations, it has assisted a total of 42,568 evacuated civilians.
Donetsk oblast
On the Sloviansk direction, Russian forces launched 29 assaults over the past 24 hours near Kryva Luka, Riznykivka, Zakitne, Kalenyky, and toward Rai-Oleksandrivka. The heaviest fighting was recorded on the Pokrovsk direction, where the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 31 enemy attacks.
Russian troops have established positions within the urban areas of Pokrovsk and are reinforcing them with infantry units and drone operators. According to Volodymyr Polevyi, Head of the Communications Department of the 7th Air Assault Corps, Russian forces are using industrial facilities and residential buildings as cover while installing antennas and signal repeaters to support offensive operations toward Hryshyne, Rodynske, and Dobropillia. At the same time, he emphasized that Russian forces have failed to fully capture Pokrovsk. Ukrainian units continue to hold positions in the northern part of the city despite Russian claims that it has been seized.
On 26 June, the National Police recorded 1,241 Russian strikes targeting both the frontline and civilian areas of the Donetsk region.
Thirteen settlements came under fire: the cities of Druzhkivka, Kramatorsk, Mykolaivka, and Sloviansk; the settlement of Bilenke; and the villages of Dolyna, Iverske, Kindrativka, Krynytsi, Myrna Dolyna, Ocheretyne, Semenivka, and Shavrove.
A total of 35 civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged, including 20 residential buildings.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces continued shelling populated areas across the Donetsk region.
In Semenivka, one civilian was killed in an FPV drone strike.
Druzhkivka was attacked with eight KAB-250 guided aerial bombs and an FPV drone. Five civilians were injured. The attack damaged 12 apartment buildings, an enterprise, a store, and two trucks with a trailer.
In Kramatorsk, four drone strikes injured one civilian. A multi-apartment residential building, a television broadcasting center, and two civilian vehicles were damaged.
Russian forces also attacked Sloviansk with drones and a multiple launch rocket system (MLRS). One civilian was injured. Three private homes, a non-residential building, and a vehicle sustained damage.
Another civilian was injured in Mykolaivka, where a private house was damaged. Drone strikes also damaged one private house each in Bilenke, Krynytsi, and Shavrove, while a civilian vehicle was damaged in Myrna Dolyna.
Authorities also confirmed the deaths of two additional residents of Druzhkivka, who were killed on 25 June when a Russian guided aerial bomb directly struck a private home.
27 June marks the third anniversary of the Russian missile strike on the center of Kramatorsk. On 27 June 2023, Russian forces launched two Iskander missiles at a family restaurant in the city center. The attack killed 13 people, including four children, and injured 64 civilians.

Luhansk oblast
Last week, the regional forum “From Losses to Compensation: Effective Tools for Relocated and Affected Enterprises” was held in Luhansk region. The event focused on the use of the International Register of Damages as a mechanism for documenting losses and securing future reparations. Estimated recovery needs for the region amount to $32.9 billion USD, while total documented damages are approximately $15.5 billion USD.
A Luhansk Regional Youth Congress has been established, bringing together representatives of communities aged 16 to 24. The body is headed by Karina Ihnatusha. The congress will represent youth interests, participate in shaping public policy, and serve as a platform for youth leadership development and civic initiatives.
The Sievierodonetsk City Military Administration allocated 460,000 UAH in assistance to 20 service members under its support program for defenders.
In the Novoaidar community, an additional 170,000 UAH was distributed among 13 service members, three persons with war-related disabilities, and one child of a fallen defender. Since the beginning of the year, 104 individuals have received support totaling over 1 million UAH.
On the Lyman direction, Russian forces conducted 14 assaults over the past 24 hours, attempting to advance near nine settlements, including Noveoiehorivka in Luhansk region. The enemy also used tube artillery, automatic grenade launchers, carried out 16 drone drops, and deployed two FPV drones.
In the temporarily occupied parts of Luhansk region, Russian authorities continue the militarization of youth. Summer camps affiliated with the “Voin” military-sport training center are teaching 16–17-year-old boys drone operation skills and preparing them for future service in the Russian army.
Despite occupation authorities’ attempts to increase population numbers, frontline towns in Luhansk region remain largely depopulated. A resettlement program offering a one-time payment of 140,000 rubles to migrants from northern Russia has so far been used by only six people.
What is happening now in the north of Ukraine
Kyiv oblast
According to the Kyiv City State Administration, 15 air raid sirens were sounded in the capital this week. In total, they lasted for over 10 hours.
According to the Kyiv City State Administration, a radiation shelter has been built at one of the lyceums in Kyiv’s Shevchenkivskyi district. The dual-purpose facility has a capacity of 600 people. It is equipped with everything needed for lessons during air raid alerts: teachers’ desks, pupils’ desks, magnetic and traditional chalkboards, two touchscreens, pouffes, sofas and sleeping mats. A medical room and a dining area have also been installed.
The Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026 in Gdańsk has concluded. According to the Regional State Administration, at the Kyiv Oblast stand, 10 comprehensive regional-level initiatives and 34 community projects were presented to international partners. These projects cover the fields of energy, logistics, transport, digitalisation, the development of public infrastructure, housing for internally displaced persons and social sector professionals, as well as veterans’ policy.
The Regional State Administration reported that representatives of the ‘Patients of Ukraine’ Charitable Foundation and the TRUE (Trauma Rehabilitation for Ukraine) initiative, as well as experts in the fields of healthcare and the development of rehabilitation networks, visited the Fastiv territorial community.
Zhytomyr oblast
Graduates of Polissia National University in Zhytomyr decided against holding their traditional graduation celebrations. Instead, they raised money and purchased two FPV drones for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Volunteers will soon hand them over to Special Forces personnel deployed in the Kupiansk sector.
On 26 June, the Korostyshiv Veterans’ Centre hosted the event ‘Supporting Those Who Defend’, organised as part of the All-Ukrainian mental health programme ‘How Are You?’. The residents of the Zhytomyr Geriatric Care Home created a special atmosphere at the event, having prepared musical performances and a dance routine for the defenders.
Sumy oblast
The Regional Military Administration reported that 18 residents of Sumy were injured in the morning russian attack on 27 June. Among the injured were two children. The enemy deliberately targeted residential areas of the city with three modified jet-powered UAVs.
Damage was recorded at seven locations, including apartment buildings, private residential houses, vehicles and infrastructure facilities. Two children and two adults remain in hospital. Emergency response and recovery operations are ongoing.
The State Emergency Service of Sumy oblast informed that firefighters rescued one person and extinguished a fire following the enemy strike in Sumy. The attack on the residential area set a private house, a garage and a passenger vehicle on fire. A further eight private residential houses and civilian vehicles were damaged. All fires have been extinguished.

The Mother and Child Centre in Sumy was among the facilities targeted by russian jet-powered drones during the morning attack on 27 June. The centre provides temporary accommodation for pregnant women and mothers with children up to 18 months old who are facing difficult life circumstances. Two one-and-a-half-month-old infants and their mothers were injured in the strike.
According to the State Emergency Service of Sumy oblast, during the night of 27 June, the enemy struck Verkhnia Syrovatka, Bilopollia, Hlukhivs, Okhtyrka and Trostianets communities. The oblast centre also came under attack.
Strikes were recorded in residential areas as well as at infrastructure facilities and non-residential premises. One person was killed and several others were injured.
The Regional Military Administration reported that during the night, russian drones carried out a large-scale attack on Okhtyrka region. Private residential houses and filling stations in the town and neighbouring communities were hit.
According to the military, the enemy used a large number of UAVs. Some of the drones flew at low altitude, making them more difficult to detect and intercept.
A 53-year-old resident of Kyrykivka community sustained serious injuries in the russian attack during the night of 27 June. She was hospitalised with burns. A further nine people sought medical assistance.

The Regional Military Administration informed that a civilian man was killed in a russian attack in Sumy region on the evening of 26 June. An enemy strike UAV hit a private household in Verkhnosyrovatska community. The 66-year-old owner was inside an outbuilding at the time of the strike and was killed at the scene.
From the morning of 26 June to the morning of 27 June, russian forces carried out more than 60 attacks on 26 settlements across 20 territorial communities of the oblast. The highest number of attacks was recorded in Sumy, Shostka and Okhtyrka regions. The enemy used mortars, artillery, FPV drones, UAVs and guided aerial bombs. Air raid alerts in the oblast lasted for 20 hours and 52 minutes during the reporting period.
The Regional Military Administration reported that, as of the morning of 27 June, one person had been killed and 14 others injured in enemy attacks across Sumy oblast over the previous 24 hours. Destruction and damage to private homes, vehicles and civilian infrastructure facilities were also recorded:
▪️ In Verkhnia Syrovatka community, a 66-year-old man was killed in a UAV attack. A private residential house was damaged and an outbuilding was destroyed;
▪️ In Sumy community, men aged 39 and 35 were injured in enemy UAV strikes, while a 36-year-old woman suffered an acute stress reaction. Apartment buildings, a private residential house, civilian infrastructure facilities and vehicles were damaged;
▪️ In Mykolaivka settlement community, a 40-year-old man was affected after a russian UAV struck a house. An outbuilding was damaged;
▪️ In Kyrykivska community, a 53-year-old woman was wounded and a 56-year-old man was injured when an enemy UAV struck a house. A private residential house was damaged;
▪️ In Trostianets community, women aged 57, 64 and 76 and men aged 68 and 71 were injured when UAVs struck residential houses. A 33-year-old woman suffered an acute stress reaction. Private residential houses, an outbuilding and a vehicle were damaged;
▪️ In Okhtyrka community, a 39-year-old woman and a 64-year-old man suffered acute stress reactions following enemy drone strikes. Vehicles were destroyed and damaged, and civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged;
▪️ In Buryn community, a non-residential premises was damaged;
▪️ In Hlukhiv community, non-residential premises and a residential house were damaged;
▪️ In Berezivka community, a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged;
▪️ In Znob-Novhorodske community, outbuildings and a private vehicle were damaged;
▪️ In Bilopollia community, a private residential house and a non-residential premises were damaged;
▪️ In Richky community, a non-residential premises was damaged;
▪️ In Nova Slobidka community, an administrative building was damaged;
▪️ In Seredyna-Buda community, private residential houses and church premises were destroyed;
▪️ In Esman community, private residential houses were destroyed.
During the reporting period, local authorities, together with units of the State Emergency Service, National Police and non-governmental organisations, evacuated 34 people from border communities.
Oleh Hryhorov, Head of the Regional Military Administration, said that six residents of Sumy oblast returned to Ukraine during the prisoner exchange on 26 June. The servicemen are from Sumy, Romny and Shostka regions and had been held in captivity since 2022.
Chernihiv oblast
Oleksandr Seliverstov, Head of Novhorod-Siverskyi Regional Military Administration, said that at around 4:40 pm. on 27 June, russian forces attacked Semenivka by a fibre-optic FPV drone. The strike damaged a filling station building and its surrounding area.
At around 5 am., the enemy attacked the premises of a local enterprise by a Molniya UAV, damaging warehouse and utility buildings.
At 10:17am. on 27 June, a Lancet UAV struck a civilian infrastructure facility in Novhorod-Siverskyi.
At 10:20am., russian forces attacked Masheve village by Herbera drones. A civilian infrastructure facility was hit.
Oleksandr Seliverstov also reported that on the morning of 27 June, russian forces attacked Pushkari village in Novhorod-Siverska community by Molniya UAVs. Several strikes were recorded between 5:30am. and 8:10 am., destroying a grain barn and damaging the local shop building.
On the evening of 26 June, russians launched an FPV drone strike near a Nova Poshta branch in Semenivka. A 57-year-old local resident sustained shrapnel injuries and was taken to hospital.
Oleksandr Seliverstov informed that at around 4:35 pm. on 26 June, a GAZelle lorry parked on the grounds of a forestry facility in Loska village, Novhorod-Siverska community, was damaged in a russian attack. No casualties were reported.
According to the National Police, on 26 June, russian forces attacked Horodnia by drones. Two UAV strikes damaged three lorries. In Perepys village, Horodnia community, an enemy UAV struck the grounds of a disused farm, damaging a building.
Chernihiv Border Guard Detachment reported that on 26 June, russian forces attacked four border communities in Chernihiv oblast: Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, Horodnia and Snovsk. The enemy carried out mortar attacks (13 explosions), artillery strikes (13 explosions), FPV drone attacks (20 explosions), one Molniya UAV strike, and dropped explosive devices from UAVs (2 explosions). Fourteen settlements came under enemy fire.
Viacheslav Chaus, Head of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, said that six residents of Chernihiv oblast returned to Ukraine during the prisoner exchange on 26 June. They are servicemen of the Ground Forces, Naval Forces, Air Assault Forces and Territorial Defence Forces, aged between 30 and 39.
Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
Mykola Lukashuk, Head of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Council, reported that a 56-year-old woman was killed in yesterday’s attacks in Marhanets. Two other people were injured: a 44-year-old woman and a 13-year-old girl.
кThe enemy also launched drone attacks on the regional centre, Chervonohryhorivska and Pokrovske rural communities. A fire broke out. An apartment building, two private residential houses and a vehicle were damaged. Vasylkivska community was struck by four guided aerial bombs. Three apartment buildings, 11 private residential houses, an administrative building and an enterprise were damaged.
russians continue to target civilian vehicles, including those transporting food supplies. In Chervonohryhorivka community, a man was killed in a drone strike on such a vehicle. Another man was hospitalised in critical condition with severe burns.
The enemy also attacked the regional centre, Marhanets and Pokrovske rural communities by drones and artillery. Fires broke out. Three vehicles, two minibuses, a crane and a filling station were damaged. A UAV attack in Ukrainska community set a wheat field on fire. In Pokrovske community, a private residential house caught fire following a UAV strike.
Vinnytsia oblast
A 77-year-old volunteer, Oleksandr Lytvyniuk, has died in Haisyn, Vinnytsia oblast. From the first days of the full-scale invasion, he supported the Ukrainian military by producing trench candles, field stoves and other equipment for the front.
Poltava oblast
In Kremenchuk, relatives of the victims, local residents and clergy commemorated those killed in the missile strike on the Amstor shopping centre on the fourth anniversary of the attack. A memorial stele in honour of the victims was unveiled during the ceremony.
Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine
Zaporizhzhia oblast
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, russian UAV operators based in Luhove and Kamianske, Zaporizhzhia oblast, were struck by the Ukrainian Defence Forces.
The State Emergency Service reported that while extinguishing a fire in Zaporizhzhia yesterday, russian forces launched a second UAV strike targeting firefighters. A fire engine was damaged. The rescuers were unharmed, having managed to reach shelter in time.
Ivan Fedorov, Head of Zaporizhzhia RMA, reported that 23 apartment buildings, 17 private homes and non-residential buildings in Shevchenkivskyi, Oleksandrivskyi, Kosmichnyi and Khortytskyi districts of Zaporizhzhia were damaged yesterday.
The State Emergency Service reported that following a russian strike on a gas station, a gas storage tank and the administrative building caught fire. The blaze covered an area of 30 sq.m.
Referring to the Regional Military Administration, 9 people, including a 13-year-old child and a 9-year-old boy, were injured in yesterday evening’s russian strike on Zaporizhzhia. 3 guided aerial bombs damaged an apartment building as well as residential and non-residential buildings.
According to the Institute for the Study of War, the Ukrainian Defense Forces advanced west of Orikhiv and liberated Prymorske village from russian troops in Zaporizhzhia oblast. Fighting is currently ongoing for Plavni village.
According to updated information from the regional police, one 52-year-old woman was killed in Zaporizhzhia oblast on 26 June. Ivan Fedorov, Head of the RMA, stated that 13 women, 13 men and 3 young children were injured. The russian forces carried out 924 strikes on 42 settlements across Zaporizhzhia oblast during the day.
Mykolaiv oblast
Ivan Kukhta, Head of Snihurivka CMA, said that during the day, an FPV attack drone was spotted heading toward Tamaryne.
According to the Air Force, in the morning, UAVs were detected over western and central Mykolaiv oblast heading toward Voznesensk and Tokarivka.
Based on the information provided by Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, on 26 June, russian forces struck Kutsurub community, reportedly by an MLRS. There were no casualties reported.
Odesa oblast
According to Odesa Regional Military Administration, during the 26 June prisoner exchange, 4 defenders from Odesa oblast returned to Ukraine. They include a native of Odesa and residents of Podilsk, Rozdilna and Bolhrad regions.
The Air Force informed that in the morning, UAVs were detected flying from the Black Sea toward Chornomorsk.
Kherson oblast
Relying on the information provided by Kherson Regional Military Administration, a UAV strike caused a fire in one of the houses. The interior sustained significant damage. A 47-year-old man was injured in the russian attack. He suffered blast and closed head injuries, a concussion and shrapnel wounds to the abdomen, arms and legs.
At around 11:40am, russian forces attacked Dniprovskyi district of Kherson by a drone. A 28-year-old man sustained blast injuries and shrapnel wounds to his arm.
Also at around 11:40am, russian forces attacked Tsentralnyi district of Kherson by a UAV. A 61-year-old man sustained a blast injury.
A 62-year-old woman was injured in a russian drone attack in Korabelnyi district at around 9:10am. She suffered blast injuries and shrapnel wounds to her shoulder and back.
At approximately 9:55am, russian forces struck a civilian vehicle in the central part of Kherson by a UAV. A 48-year-old man sustained blast and closed head injuries, as well as a concussion.
A 50-year-old woman was injured in a drone attack in Dniprovskyi district of Kherson. She sustained blast and closed head injuries, a concussion and shrapnel wounds to her thigh and eye. She was hospitalised in moderate condition and is undergoing further examination.
A municipal utility worker was injured during an artillery strike on Zymivnyk. The 60-year-old man was diagnosed with a blast injury.
At around 9:30pm yesterday, a 45-year-old Kherson resident was injured in a russian drone attack in Korabelnyi district. He sustained shrapnel wounds to the head, a concussion and blast and closed head injuries.
A 26-year-old man who was injured in yesterday’s russian airstrikes on Tsentralnyi district of Kherson was diagnosed with blast injuries, a concussion and a mild traumatic brain injury.

Volyn oblast
The RMA reported that among those released from captivity are three servicemen from Volyn oblast.
Zakarpattia oblast
Oleh Honchar and Andrii Smyk, servicemen of the State Special Transport Service detachment based in Chop have been released from russian captivity.
Ivano-Frankivsk oblast
Attention veterans: parasailing training has resumed in Ivano-Frankivsk. Classes will be held at Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas sports complex, where conditions have been created for physical rehabilitation, recovery and support of veterans.
Lviv oblast
Among the 160 Ukrainian servicemen who managed to return from russian captivity is Petro Mavko, resident of Sheptytskyi. In June 2022, during the fighting near Novoivanivka in Luhansk oblast, he fell into enemy captivity. And Leonid Kalinich, defender from Sambir region.
Rivne oblast
Among the Ukrainian soldiers released from captivity are three compatriots from Rivne oblast. 2 of them, aged 47 and 33, are from Rivne region. Another, aged 27, is from Dubno region.
Ternopil oblast
Another veteran will open his own workshop. He will receive funds from the city budget to repair a gas tool. This is the 17th participant in the veteran business support program. 17 veterans and their family members who decided to build a business. Each received up to UAH 150,000 for start-up or development.
Khmelnytskyi oblast
15 new school buses were sent to communities of the oblast. It is important that 9 buses are equipped for transporting people with reduced mobility. Also, this year the region has a state subsidy for the purchase of another 38 buses, 21 of which are inclusive.
Chernivtsi oblast
Among those released from russian captivity is Viktor Kambur, soldier from the village of Livyntsi, Dniester region. The soldier was in captivity for 4 years.
