The occupiers refuse to extend the validity period of documents for persons with disabilities, which they previously issued under Ukrainian legislation or under the provisions adopted in the so-called “lpr”. Therefore, the russian Social Fund reported that from January 1, 2026, they will accrue disability benefits only according to russian documents. Therefore, by the end of 2025, residents of the occupied Luhansk oblast need to reissue the relevant documents. Otherwise, russians will deprive them of social benefits. An additional problem is the insufficient number of relevant commissions operating in the “lpr”. Those who wish to do so are forced to stand in long lines every day with a high probability of not getting a medical and social examination at all.

Large-scale landscape fires are raging again in the occupied region. The most uncontrolled situation has developed around Siverskodonetsk. The fire has approached the village of Bobrove. There, the flames have engulfed an area of over 310 hectares.
