It is reported that russian invaders continue to assault the positions of Ukrainian defenders. In response, Ukraine’s Defense Forces thwart the enemy’s insidious plans, inflicting significant losses in personnel and equipment.
Since the beginning of the day, there have been 88 combat engagements.
The situation is hottest towards Pokrovsk, with the enemy also active towards Toretsk.
Border settlements in Sumy and Chernihiv oblasts continue to suffer from cynical shelling from the territory of the russian federation. Artillery and mortar fire hit the areas of the settlements of Myropilske, Sokyche, Pavlivka, and Katerynivka. Additionally, the russians struck the settlement of Popivka with four unguided aerial rockets.
Meanwhile, Kharkiv oblast, remains under constant bombardment by enemy aviation. Since the beginning of the day, the russians have launched five airstrikes using seven KABs from the russian cities of Belhorod and Shebekino, targeting the areas of Slobozhanske, Lypci, Vilcha, Horyane and Velykyi Burluk.
Towards Kharkiv, the russians carried out seven attacks near Tykhe and Vovchansk, with two engagements still ongoing.
Towards Kupiansk, the enemy made three attempts to improve their tactical position in the areas of Novoosynove and Pishchane, with two attacks currently in progress.
Towards Lyman, the invader’s army attacked seven times near Makiivka, Novoserhiivka, and Nevske. Our defenders repelled six enemy attacks, with one still ongoing. Additionally, the occupiers bombarded Lyman with three KABs and hit the area of Makiivka with nine unguided rockets.
Towards Siversk, the enemy attacked twice near Verkhnokamianske and Ivano-Darivka, where the battle is still ongoing.
Towards Kramatorsk, the enemy conducted six assaults near Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, and Andriivka. Defense forces repelled half of the attacks, with three engagements still ongoing.
Towards Toretsk, the occupiers increased their attacks to 16, advancing near Zalizne, Niu-York, Toretsk, and Pivnichne. Thirteen battles have ended, with three still ongoing. The invaders also carried out three airstrikes on Shcherbynivka and Toretsk.
Towards Pokrovsk, the russians carried out assaults in the areas of Vozdvyzhenka, Zhelanne, Serhiivka, Panteleimonivka, Novooleksandrivka, Ivanivka, Lysychne, Tymofiivka, Karlivka, and Kalynove. Defense forces are holding back the russian troops and have repelled 19 attacks, with 17 engagements still ongoing. Enemy losses in this direction are being clarified. The enemy also launched 20 airstrikes on the areas of Zhelanne, Ivanivka, Mykolaivka, Hrodivka, Vozdvyzhenka, and Panteleimonivka.
Towards Kurakhove, the invaders attacked five times near Krasnohorivka, Kostiantynivka, Zhelanne, and Paraskoviivka, with three battles concluded and two ongoing.
Towards Vremivka, the enemy assaulted Ukrainian defensive lines near Velyka Novosilka, losing four engagements.
Towards Dnipro, the russians were also unsuccessful, attacking our positions on the left bank of the Dnipro twice.
In other directions of the front, the situation remains without significant changes. Ukrainian soldiers steadfastly hold back the enemy’s advance, causing significant losses to the occupiers.
Denys Shmyhal, Prime Minister, reported that settlements within 20 km of the border with russia, belarus and the front line will not be disconnected from the power grid. There will also be a response to public requests for fairness in electricity distribution. An improved algorithm will ensure a more even rotation and duration of outages.
The court has seized and transferred to the state the property and businesses of relatives of those suspected of treason, valued at nearly UAH 400m. The businesses of relatives of former MPs viktor medvedchuk and taras kozak, including construction betonbud and capital plaza companies and 50% corporate rights of LLC halytske perekhrestya, have been seized. The court also seized and transferred to state management the property that the former MPs had transferred to close associates, as well as land plots in Lviv oblast.

Kharkiv oblast
The regional prosecutor’s office said that a 55-year-old man was injured as a result of a russian air strike on Velykyi Burluk at around 4:20pm on 31 July.
The General Staff reported that there were 10 russian attacks on Kharkiv and Kupiansk frontline as of 4pm.
At around 10:10am, the occupiers hit Velykyi Burluk village in Kupiansk region with multiple rocket launchers. A residential building burned as a result of the shelling. Another house at another address was damaged. A woman was killed. A 10-year-old boy, the son of the deceased, sustained burn injuries and was hospitalised. Inna’s husband, who works as a rescuer, came to extinguish the fire as a result of the hit.
Viktor Tereshchenko, Head of Velykyi Burluk Village Military Administration, informed that the one-storey house of a rescuer’s family in Horiane near Velykyi Burluk was completely destroyed by a russian attack on 31 July. The Russians hit it with a KAB-250. There is nothing left on the territory. There were three strikes in total, hitting about a kilometre apart. They were a young, active family. The woman worked in the gas industry, the man was a rescuer. He was on duty and came to get his wife.

Yesterday at 6pm, russians attacked Kucherivka village of Petropavlivka community, Kupiansk region. The body of a 61-year-old man with no signs of life and traces of an explosive injury was found in a garage.
At 1pm, russians attacked Mala Komyshuvakha village of Oskil community, Izium region. They discovered a VAZ 2106 car with the body of a 61-year-old man inside. The injuries were caused by an unknown type of mine.
Towards Kharkiv, there were six combat engagements with russian invaders. Five attacks were repelled near Tykhe and Vovchansk. One battle is still ongoing near the latter. The situation is under control.
Towards Kupiansk, the enemy tried six times to force our units out of their positions near Pishchane and Stelmakhivka. Three hostile assaults are ongoing.
Vitalii Sarantsev, Spokesman of the Kharkiv operational-tactical group, informed that the use of K-51 aerosol grenades prohibited by the Geneva Convention was noted by the military defending Ukraine towards Kharkiv.
Donetsk oblast
Stanislav Krasnov, platoon commander of the 95th Brigade Air Assault Brigade, said that the defence line near Toretsk is holding, fighting is taking place in the settlements near the city. The fighting is now taking place in the villages adjacent to Toretsk. The russians did not advance along the same line where they were, so the fighting is taking place in private buildings, mostly, and partly in high-rise buildings. The russian military hardly uses any equipment here, they continue to storm and attack with infantry.
The russian army is trying to reach Marinka-Vuhledar highway towards Kurakhove in order to strike at the rear of the Ukrainian military closer to the south of Donetsk oblast. That is why russia massively attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in this area of the frontline with armoured vehicles twice in one week.
Donetsk regional prosecutor’s office reported that russian troops attacked a tractor driver in Novohrodivka community with a drone. The 61-year-old man died on the way to the hospital. Also, two girls aged 3 and 15 were injured as a result of an airstrike on Hannivka village. The younger child is in a critical condition. In total, five people have been wounded since the beginning of the day.
The russian media outlet Mediazone reported that a prisoner of war from the Azov brigade, Oleksandr Ishchenko, has died in a russian detention centre. The causes and circumstances of his death are currently unknown. It is known that the soldier was 55 years old. In February 2022, he joined the Azov Territorial Military Group as a military driver, and in the spring he was taken prisoner by russia. He was accused of “participating in the activities of a terrorist organisation” and “attempting to seize power by force”. Human Rights Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets said that he had sent a letter to the russian Ombudsman to inform Ukraine about the circumstances and cause of death of prisoner of war Oleksandr Ishchenko.
Ruslan Mykula, Co-founder of the Deep State project, reported that russians can enter Toretsk through the forest belt between the two waste heaps. As of this morning, there are no russian troops in Toretsk.
Donetsk police informed on their website that in the morning, the russian army shelled Novohrodivka. Preliminary, three apartment buildings in the town were damaged. There were no casualties as a result of the attack.
According to the General Staff, russians tried to break through the defences of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Chasiv Yar 12 times yesterday. In total, the russian army conducted 126 attacks in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. The most active attacks are towards Pokrovsk, where 48 attempts were made to dislodge Ukrainian troops from their positions.
Also russian occupants are also storming the Toretsk sector, where 23 russian attacks were recorded yesterday.
During the day, police recorded 2531 attacks along the frontline and in the residential sector.
Nine settlements were under attack: Kurakhove, Lyman, Toretsk, Hrodivka, Viroliubivka, Illinivka, Mykolaivka (Kostiantynivka community), Mykolaivka (Novohrodivka community), Novozhelanne.
23 civilian objects were damaged, including 13 residential buildings, educational institutions, shops, an administrative building, a cafe and the power grid.
In Toretsk, which is under massive attack, russians killed a civilian, injured three others and damaged an apartment building.
The enemy shelled Mykolaivka of Kostiantynivka community with cannon artillery, injuring a civilian and damaging a private house.
Four airstrikes on Hrodivka damaged 2 private houses, 2 shops, a cafe and an administrative building. An apartment building was damaged in Kurakhove.
The occupiers dropped a FAB-250 bomb with an UMPK module on Lyman, destroying three private houses.
Two houses were damaged as a result of a strike on Illinivka with a KAB-250 bomb with an UMPK module. In Mykolaivka of Novohrodivka community, an apartment building, a private house and an educational institution were damaged as a result of shelling from Smerch multiple rocket launchers.
Today in the morning there was an enemy shelling of Novohrodivka and according to preliminary information, three apartment buildings were damaged, no one was injured.
In addition, there was information about a civilian who was injured in Novoukrainka on 29 July as a result of a drone strike on a car.
In Donetsk oblast, a GCS-200 mechanised demining machine exploded on an unexploded ordnance during demining. The State Emergency Service reported that no one was injured in the explosion, and the vehicle was damaged.
Ten years ago, on 30 July, Ukrainian troops liberated Avdiivka from russian occupiers. Militants took control of the city in late April 2014. The occupation lasted three months. It is now temporarily occupied by russian troops again.
Luhansk oblast
According to Luhansk Regional Military Administration, the enemy attacks most often near Nevske and Makiivka, only yesterday – 10 times.
Four more times, the invaders tried to break through the defence of the Armed Forces in Serebrianka forest. They attacked in the area of Stelmakhivka. Also russians fired 105 times towards Nevske and Makiivka. They used artillery and drones.
School students from occupied Bilovodsk continue to stay in a tent military-patriotic camp for ‘young soldiers’ set up in Novosibirsk region. Sending children aged 11 to 17 to this camp, where military officers teach them tactical, firearms and drill training, is called patronage assistance to the so-called “lpr” in russia. The training at the camp, which is located near the training ground, is part of the federal project Faces of Friendship. Under the programme, the children will have informal meetings with participants in the war in Ukraine.
In Alchevsk, which was seized 10 years ago, local utilities do not remove garbage from the neighbourhoods. Natural dumps are formed between houses. The occupation authorities do not respond to numerous complaints. Garbage in the yards accumulates for weeks. The “modern equipment” provided by the russians last year has either disappeared or is unable to cope.
Roman Vlasenko, Head of Sievierodonetsk Regional State Administration, reported that in Sievierodonetsk, the occupiers put pressure on the citizens if they try to use mobile phones. Also russians are not satisfied with the pace of forced mobilisation and passportisation. Forest fires are raging again around Sievierodonetsk and Rubizhne. Popasna and Hirske remain without any utilities. There are significant problems in Lysychansk, Pryvillia and Novodruzhesk. The so-called “luhansk people’s republic” is experiencing fuel shortages.
What is happening now in the north of Ukraine
Kyiv oblast
KRMA reported that Kyiv was attacked by enemy drones for the seventh time in July. It was the most massive for the capital in 2024 in terms of the number of UAVs used.
KCMA reported that the air alert lasted more than 7 hours. Enemy drones came at Kyiv in waves and from almost all possible directions. During the morning, the second wave of the drone strike, enemy UAVs continued to attack Kyiv in waves, and not a single drone reached its target. Several more enemy attack drones were destroyed by air defence forces and equipment. In total, more than four dozen enemy UAVs were shot down in the airspace of Kyiv and on the outskirts of the capital during these two waves.
According to the operational report, there were no casualties in Kyiv.
The State Emergency Service reported that 13 private houses were damaged in the night attack. In Kyiv oblast, a residential building burned down at night as a result of falling debris.
Radio technology expert Serhii Beskrestnov, call sign Flash, announced that it is highly likely that Kyiv oblast was attacked last night not by Shaheds, but by new cheap Gerberas, or the attack was combined. That’s why there were so many of them flying and the destruction rate was 100%. This type of drone is a junior series of Shaheds. In addition to strikes on targets, it will include reconnaissance elements and tasks to distract the attention of our air defence systems.
In Kyiv oblast, 316 streets in 7 districts were renamed, which bore names symbolising the imperial past. The place names were returned to their historical names and given the names of Ukrainian scientists, artists and statesmen. Many streets were renamed in honour of Ukrainian soldiers who died defending Ukrainian cities and villages.
Zhytomyr oblast
A new Mental Health Centre has been opened in Zhytomyr as part of the “How are you?” programme patronised by First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska. The “Are You OK?” programme provides Ukrainians with the necessary resources to effectively cope with psychological difficulties, maintain emotional stability and quality of life, especially in the face of current challenges.
The website of Zhytomyr Regional Education Agency published information that the Projector Foundation is announcing a call for free online training in the creative and IT industries. This is a continuation of a project aimed at acquiring professional skills and supporting career opportunities for female partners of Ukrainian military personnel and veterans. As part of the first wave of training, 118 women have already been trained in six specialities. The initiative is supported by the U.S. Embassy’s Democracy Promotion Fund.
The rector of the university, Viktor Yevdokimov, announced that the State University of Zhytomyr Polytechnic had completed the reconstruction of a shelter designed to accommodate 1,000 people.
Olha Yurchenko, Director of Zhytomyr City Centre for Social Services for Family, Children and Youth, said that in the two weeks since the new veterans’ telephone line was launched in Zhytomyr in mid-July, it has already received fifty calls.
Zhytomyr Regional TCR and SS informs that from 18 May to 31 July, 57% of those liable for military service updated their data through the Rezerv+ mobile application.
The press service of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Zhytomyr oblast reported that near Marushivka village in Romanivka territorial community of Zviahel region, two young children found a 152mm artillery shell from the past wars. On 31 July, pyrotechnics of the regional State Emergency Service destroyed the explosive object.
Viktor Hradivskyi, Deputy Head of Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, informed that children from vulnerable categories in Zhytomyr oblast went on holiday to Poland. He noted that such initiatives are extremely important, especially in the context of the difficult social situation in the country due to the aggression of the russian federation.
Sumy oblast
At night and in the morning, russians fired nine times at the border areas and settlements of Sumy oblast. 11 explosions were recorded. Khotin, Yunakivka, Krasnopillia, Bilopillia and Esman communities were shelled.
Yunakivka community: an FPV drone attack was carried out from the territory of the russian federation (1 explosion). Khotin community: FPV drone attacks were recorded (6 explosions). Esman community: 2 mines were dropped by russians on the community territory. Bilopillia community: an FPV drone attack was carried out (1 explosion). Krasnopillia community: an FPV drone attack took place (1 explosion).
During the previous day, russians fired 8 times at the border areas and settlements of Sumy oblast. 17 explosions were recorded. Yunakivka, Bilopillia, Krasnopilia, Esman and Seredyna-Buda communities were shelled.
The OC ‘North’ reported that a private house was destroyed in the village of Stepne of Khotyn community as a result of FPV drone shelling.
The Ministry of Energy reported that 3,900 subscribers in 72 settlements remain without electricity supply due to hostilities in Sumy oblast.
Yurii Zarko, Head of Bilopillia community, informed that a woman was wounded in Obody village of Bilopillia community as a result of shelling. In the morning, the russian army fired at the community’s territory from FPV drones. There may be more wounded people in the community.
Valentyna Barakhovych, Director of Hlukhiv City Hospital, confirmed that a man, who was wounded in the shelling of Hlukhiv, died in hospital. The man was in critical condition in intensive care after being wounded.
Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk held a meeting on social protection of people with disabilities. Following the meeting, the participants agreed to strengthen interagency coordination to improve state support for people with disabilities in the war.
Chernihiv oblast
According to Ukraine’s alert map, the air alert in Chernihiv oblast lasted more than 10 hours on the night of 30-31 July: from 9:40pm to 7:52am. It became one of the longest since russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, as the previous alert lasted more than 14 hours on 19 March 2022.
Soldiers of the 119th Separate Territorial Defence Brigade reported that on the night of 31 July, three russian Shahed UAVs were shot down in the sky over Chernihiv oblast. According to the report, the drones were shot down by the personnel of the Kraken mobile fire group.
Journalist Yurii Butusov reported that Ukrainian soldiers destroyed a group of russian Special Operations Forces from the Senezh Special Forces Centre in Chernihiv oblast. Five russian officers were killed, their bodies remained at the battlefield along with their trophy weapons.
153 bulletproof vests of class III protection and 62 helmets of class IIIA were delivered to Chernihiv oblast medics by international partners. The additional protection will be useful, in particular, for the region’s emergency medical services that respond to calls in the areas of shelling. The assistance was made possible through effective cooperation between the Public Health Centre of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the 100% Life charity organisation.
Volunteers from Kobyzhcha village in Chernihiv oblast have woven 16km of camouflage nets for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. They gather at the local community centre on weekdays.
Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
At night, 6 enemy Shahed were shot down over the oblast. The occupiers did not stop firing on Nikopol region. They shelled the regional centre, Pokrovsk and Marhanets communities. In the latter, a social institution and a car were damaged, and another was destroyed. There were no casualties or injuries.
During the day, air defence forces destroyed two reconnaissance drones over the oblast.
Throughout the day, the occupiers were shelling Nikopol region. They fired with artillery and kamikaze drones at the regional centre, Chervonohryhorivka, Pokrovsk and Marhanets communities. In Nikopol, a 69-year-old man was injured by a russian drone strike. He received the necessary medical care and will be treated at home. An apartment building, 4 private houses, 3 outbuildings, fences, gates and a gas pipeline were damaged.
Vinnytsia oblast
Eight defenders from Vinnytsia oblast were killed: Serhii Nazarov, AnatoliI OliInyk, Vadym Papizh, Oleksandr Martyniuk, Oleksandr Suprun, YuriI Karpunov, Ihor Dzhaman and Yurii Shafar.
The families of the eleven fallen defenders from Vinnytsia oblast received state awards. Thus, the Order “For Courage”, III degree was awarded to the defenders:

An Alley of Glory with portraits of the fallen heroes of the Chervona Kalyna brigade was opened in Vinnytsia oblast. The location features 32 portraits of the heroes who were killed defending Ukraine from russian invaders. The opening of the Alley was attended by the heroes’ comrades-in-arms, their relatives and friends, government officials and clergy. During the opening of the Alley, a minute of silence was observed in memory of the victims, and black balloons were launched into the sky.
Mayor Serhii Morhunov reported that 30 children of the fallen and missing defenders, as well as internally displaced persons, went to the Czech city of Liberec for rehabilitation. Hiking, scooter riding, swimming and other activities were organised for the young Vinnytsia residents. All expenses were borne by the host party.
Kirovohrad oblast
Kirovohrad oblast experienced the longest night of alert ever, almost 7 hours. There were no consequences.
Two defenders from Kirovohrad oblast were killed in the war with russia.
These are 21-year-old Yevhen Zhuhan from Petrivstsi community. On 2 December 2022, Yevhen received a decoration from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, an honorary badge – the Steel Cross. On 2 June 2023, he was killed while performing a combat mission.
And 49-year-old Serhii Ustenko from Oleksandriia. He was killed on 28 July during a combat mission in Pokrovsk region, Donetsk oblast.
Poltava oblast
Soldiers Serhii Sereda and Andrii Hryhoriev from Poltava oblast were killed.
50-year-old Serhii Sereda from Hrebinka was killed on 24 July 2024 near Krasnohorivka, Donetsk oblast.
25-year-old Andrii Hryhoriev from Serhiivka community was killed on 26 July 2024. It happened during a combat mission near Novovodiane village, Luhansk oblast.
Cherkasy oblast
Ihor Taburets, Head of the RMA, reported that for almost ten hours in a row, the oblast was on alert. According to preliminary data, as a result of the combat work of mobile firing groups and electronic warfare, minus 4 enemy UAVs were destroyed within the region. There was no information about casualties or damage to property.
Anatolii Hryhorchuk, an employee of Chyhyryn National Historical and Cultural Reserve, was killed in the russian-Ukrainian war. On 26 July, the soldier was attacked by a drone in Donetsk oblast.
Monastyryska community held a “human corridor” for fallen soldier Mykhailo Molnar. Mykhailo was killed on 26 July as a result of a mortar attack in Kharkiv oblast.
Two fallen defenders from Talne community, Vasyl Pidchis and Serhii Balaka, were awarded posthumous orders “For Courage”. The orders were handed over to their families on 31 July.
Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine
Zaporizhzhia oblast
Yesterday, 30 July, the occupiers shelled 12 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast 395 times. The enemy carried out 4 airstrikes on Huliaipole, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, and Omelnyk. Various types of 208 UAVs attacked Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka, Levadne, Robotyne, Novodanylivka, Malynivka, and Novoandriivka. Four MLRS attacks hit Mala Tokmachka and Novodanylivka. There were 179 artillery shellings targeting Stepnohirsk, Mali Shcherbaky, Prymorske, Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriivka, Robotyne, Novodanylivka, Malynivka, Levadne, Omelnyk, and Zelenyi Hai. Sixteen reports of housing destruction were received.
There were five combat clashes in the areas of Mala Tokmachka, Robotyne, and Novoandriivka towards Orikhiv. Border Guard Service military personnel destroyed russian defensive fortifications and a truck using FPV drones.
Mykolaiv oblast
During the night of 31 July, the Air Defence forces destroyed one guided aviation missile and four Shahed 131/136 type UAVs over Mykolaiv oblast. There was no shelling in the oblast over the past day.
Odesa oblast
There are 2 enemy ships equipped with Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 8 missiles in the Black Sea. There are no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov.
Kherson oblast
It is reported that russian troops attacked a resident of Kindiika with a drone. The victim received an explosive injury and shrapnel wound to the shin as a result of dropping an explosive from the drone.
Yesterday evening, russian military attacked Romashkove, Bilozerka community, with a drone. 2 people who were on the street were injured. They received concussions, explosive injuries, and cranial trauma.
Yestrerday, russian troops shelled the right bank of Kherson oblast with artillery, mortars, multiple launch rocket systems, aviation, and UAVs. Liberated Beryslav and Kherson regions, including Kherson, Sadove, Novotyahinka, Antonivka, Chornobaivka, Oleksandrivka, Komyshany, Romashkove, Novokairy, Vyrivka, Lvove, Tyahinka, Sukhanove, Havrylivka and Odradokamianka, were once again under enemy fire. 65 objects were damaged in these settlements: two apartment buildings and 46 private houses, critical infrastructure facilities, an agricultural enterprise, gas pipelines, a kiosk, five cars, three garages, and as many outbuildings. 1 person was killed, and 5 were injured, including one child, due to russian aggression.
The Southern Defense Forces continue to inflict fire damage on enemy deployment buildups, firing positions, and rear areas. Over the past day, Ukrainian defenders eliminated 87 russian occupiers and destroyed 26 units of weapons and military equipment. Additionally, one field ammunition storage, one fuel and lubricant storage, two weapon and military equipment storage sites, one dugout, and one observation post were destroyed.
Volunteers of the ADRA Ukraine organisation delivered food and hygiene kits to residents of the Mylove community. Overall, residents received over 470 basic and about 100 family kits, as well as more than 270 women’s hygiene kits. The aid distribution was supported by Japanese partners, Japan Platform, and ADRA Japan.

Volyn oblast
During a working trip to Volyn oblast, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, held a coordination meeting on the security situation and protection of the state border. The meeting was attended by representatives of the military leadership, the State Border Service, Heads of the Volyn, Zhytomyr, Rivne, Kyiv and Chernihiv oblasts.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Volyn entrepreneurs. They discussed implementation of the Made in Ukraine economic platform.
Volyn oblast met the 8th evacuation train with 73 people, including 21 children and 7 people with disabilities, from Donetsk oblast. People also brought their pets with them. IDPs were sheltered by communities of Kamin-Kashir region. In total, in July, Volyn oblast received 263 IDPs from Donetsk communities, including 59 children.
Zakarpattia oblast
The RMA held a meeting with Serhii Zviahintsev, Acting Head of the State Customs Service of Ukraine. They discussed the functioning of Zakarpattia Customs.
Ivano-Frankivsk oblast
In Ivano-Frankivsk, the Memorial Bell rang out in the Memorial Square. Government representatives, clergy, military and families of fallen Heroes prayed together for all those who were killed in the struggle for independence. Also, representatives of the City Council presented posthumous awards.
Lviv oblast
As part of the Lion’s Revenge project, Lviv community sent 390 FPV drones, 25 Mavic 3T, 4 EW systems, 2 Magura complexes and 12 Gray Widow complexes worth UAH 24m to the military thanks to the budget funds.
The Recruiting Centre of the Forces of Unmanned Systems, the newest troops in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was opened in Lviv. Everyone can come here and learn more about the possibilities of service in these troops, see drone simulators with your own eyes and join the fight for Ukraine. The Centre was opened in cooperation with Lviv City Council.
There was a tent school for young people in Zhydachev. Over 30 people became participants. In 6 days, they were able to successfully and confidently master new knowledge in military tactics, medicine and minesweeping.
Rivne oblast
A regional meeting of the Congress of local and regional authorities chaired by Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, was held in Rivne oblast. Representatives of the government, heads of regions and communities, experts and businessmen also took part. One of the key issues is energy.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, visited Rivne Regional Hospital for Veterans. There, the President discussed with wounded soldiers, thanked them for their service and presented state awards. During the visit, the President familiarised himself with the construction project of the new building, inspected the physical therapy hall, the swimming pool and the robotic rehabilitation room.
Representatives of the DAI organisation, the US, visited Bilokrynytsk community for cooperation. The delegation got acquainted with the life and development of the community, because this is one of the prerequisites for the further signing of the Partnership Agreement.
Ternopil oblast
Ternopil City Council reported that 54 military from community personnel will receive a one-time financial aid (UAH 10,000 each) for the provision of equipment and technical means in the total amount of UAH 540,000.
Khmelnytskyi oblast
103 families of veterans of Khmelnytskyi will receive compensation for the purchase of housing. The oblast received subsidies from the state budget for the specified purpose in the total amount of UAH 240.8m.
Chernivtsi oblast
The RMA held an online meeting with representatives of the German-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. They discussed strengthening German-Ukrainian cooperation.
Travel Therapy continues for defenders undergoing rehabilitation in Bukovina. Already the 3rd group of defenders joined the excursion tour in Bukovina. They visited Chernivtsi Regional Memorial Museum of Volodymyr Ivasiuk, where they were able to learn more about the work and life of the prominent Bukovinian, as well as sing the legendary Red Route.
International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)
Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, had a phone conversation with General Charles Brown, Head of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff. They discussed the current situation at the front.
The United Kingdom confiscated almost $1m from russian oligarch aven. The asset manager of Russian oligarch Petro Aven has agreed to hand over $963,000 to British authorities to end a nearly two-year-old British police investigation into sanctions evasion. Thousands of pounds in cash seized from avena’s mansion outside London were also handed over under “proceeds of crime” legislation.
The 4th volunteer from Finland was killed at the front in Ukraine. He fought on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. A Finnish volunteer was killed in mid-July north of Donetsk. The soldier’s relatives reported the killed, the information was also confirmed by the Finnish authorities.
