Border settlements, in particular Yanzhulivka, Prohres, Liskivshchyna in Chernihiv oblast; Hrabovske, Khutir-Mykhailivskyi, Sopych, Dmytrivka, Maryine, Kucherivka, Myropilske, Buniakyne, Petrushivka, Brusky, Porozok in Sumy oblast; Vidrozhdenivske in Kharkiv oblast. The settlement of Prokhody in Sumy oblast was hit by airstrikes.
Towards Kharkiv, Ukrainian soldiers stopped one enemy attack near Vovchansk.
Towards Kupiansk, the aggressor carried out four assault actions in the vicinity of Kindrashivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Kolisnykivka and Zahryzove, and the clashes are now over.
Towards Lyman, the invading army attacked 15 times near the settlements of Hrekivka, Kopanky, Ridkodub, Zelena Dolyna, Torske and in the vicinity of Novyi Myr, Olhivka, and Karpivka. Two combat clashes are still ongoing.
Towards Siversk, the Defense Forces repelled five attacks. The invading units tried to advance in the vicinity of Hryhorivka, Ivano-Daryivka and Verkhnokamianske, but were stopped by Ukrainian soldiers.
Towards Kramatorsk, the occupiers are attempting to advance in the vicinity of Chasiv Yar. The combat clash is still ongoing.

Towards Pokrovsk, the invaders made 31 attempts to push Ukrainian defenders from the occupied positions in the vicinity of the settlements of Zoria, Rusyn Yar, Poltavka, Shevchenko Pershe, Myroliubivka, Malynivka, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Novoserhiivka, Udachne, Muravka, Kotliarivka and Oleksiivka. The defense forces are holding back the enemy’s onslaught and stopped 28 attacks. Stepanivka, Oleksandro-Kalynove, Zoria, Yablunivka, Volodymyrivka, Nykanorivka, Poltavka, Kopteve, and Novotoretske were under airstrikes.
Towards Novopavlivka, the enemy attacked 12 times in the vicnity of the settlements of Kostiantynopol, Bahatyr, Odradne, Shevchenko, Novopol, and Zelene Pole. Three combat clashes are still ongoing.
Towards Huliaypole, the enemy launched airstrikes on Poltavka and Zaliznychne with unguided air missiles; on Verkhnia Tersa, Dolynka and Huliaipole – with air bombs. The enemy did not conduct offensive operations.
Towards Orikhiv, the aggressor attacked three times, the occupiers tried to advance in the vicinity of Novodanylivka.
Towards Kherson, the enemy conducted two fruitless attacks, in addition, he struck Mykolaivka with unguided air missiles.
Towards Kursk, the Ukrainian defenders repelled 12 russian attacks, five more combat clashes are ongoing. The enemy has launched two airstrikes, dropped two guided air bombs in total and carried out 83 artillery attacks, including three from multiple launch rocket systems.
In other directions of the front, the situation has not changed significantly.

Kharkiv oblast
Frontline
Over the course of 29 May, 173 combat engagements were registered. Towards Kharkiv, our troops stopped nine enemy attacks in the areas of Starytsia and Vovchansk. There were 4 enemy attacks towards Kupiansk yesterday. Defence forces repelled enemy assaults near Stepova Novoselivka and Nova Kruhliakivka.
Attacks
The enemy launched a rocket attack on Vasyshcheve village. At least two people were injured and 8 private households destroyed.
Yesterday Kharkiv city and 6 settlements were under enemy fire.
As a result of the shelling, 11 people were injured, including 2 children. An 84-year-old woman and two 61-year-old women were injured in Kharkiv; girls aged 14 and 16, women aged 63, 54, 32, 26 and men aged 56, 41 and 31 were injured in Vasyliv Khutir village of Chuhuiv community.
In Chuhuiv region, 5 cows were killed and 4 cows injured.

The enemy fired 8 UAVs at the Sloboda district of Kharkiv.
The enemy actively used various types of weapons in Kharkiv oblast:

▪️ 1 missile (type to be determined);
▪️ 3 KAB;

Civilian infrastructure was damaged and destroyed:

▪️ in Izium region, 3 private houses, 2 cars, and warehouses were damaged;

Donetsk oblast
Attacks
At 2:30am, the russians attacked the town with three Geranium-2 UAVs, hitting a five-storey building. The strike destroyed the top three floors of one of the entrances. A 40-year-old woman and her 16-year-old son were injured. They were diagnosed with burns and carbon monoxide poisoning.

At least one person was killed and 12 wounded as a result of russian shelling in Donetsk oblast. Yesterday police recorded 2,762 hostile attacks on the frontline and residential areas.
14 settlements were under attack: Bilytske, Dobropillia, Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk, Lyman, Pokrovsk, Siversk, Sloviansk, Novodonetske, Hannaivka, Illinivka, Komar and Stepanivka. 50 civilian objects were destroyed, including 17 residential buildings.

Russians attacked Kostiantynivka with six drones, killing a civilian and injuring three others. One apartment block and two private houses, a petrol station and a civilian car were damaged.
The enemy sent 13 drones to Sloviansk – one person was wounded, 1 apartment building, 8 private houses, a production facility and a car were damaged.
Two people were wounded in Pokrovsk, a private house was damaged. Two more people were injured in Hannivka-Dobropillia community, where drones damaged an enterprise and a non-residential building.
One person was wounded in Siversk as a result of a KAB-250 bomb explosion, and a private house was damaged. There is a wounded person in Komar village of Velyka Novosilka community.
In Kramatorsk, a company, non-residential premises, and 4 civilian cars were damaged by drone strikes. In Druzhkivka, UAVs damaged an administrative building, non-residential premises, and vehicles. In Lyman, 2 private houses and 2 outbuildings were damaged.
The occupiers dropped a KAB-250 bomb on Myrnohrad, damaging 3 apartment blocks, 5 private houses and a religious building. Drones attacked an educational institution in Bilytske and a private household in Dobropillia.
Luhansk oblast
The invaders sent 105 unmanned aerial vehicles at settlements located near the contact line in Luhansk oblast. They opened fire from cannon artillery six times. They also fired from a multiple launch rocket system. They had air support. Yesterday, the invaders attacked our positions near Hrekivka.
On billboards and in public transport in Luhansk, there are advertisements inviting teenagers to study at an institution located in a special economic zone created in Tatarstan. At industrial sites, they are involved in the production of kamikaze drones. Along with militarisation, the young occupiers are simultaneously addressing another issue – attracting cheap labour.
The so-called “Ministry of Education and Science of the lpr” stated that they are going to open 16 summer camps at secondary schools in the territories they seized in 2022. Namely, in cities located near the front line. Where schools operate remotely, but due to the lack of internet, this format has turned into a mixed format, the russians provocatively decided to bring children together for the summer.
What is happening now in the north of Ukraine
Kyiv oblast
In Kyiv oblast, major repairs are underway on the bridge over the Teteriv River partially destroyed as a result of hostilities in March 2022. The bridge over 300 metres long is of strategic importance for the livelihoods of local communities and the stable functioning of the economy under martial law. The restoration is being carried out with financial support from UK Export Finance (UKEF).
Regional Military Administration reported that 1,000 FPV drones and 10 pickups will reinforce the 72nd Separate Mechanised Brigade named after the Black Zaporozhians, which is under the patronage of Kyiv oblast. Last year, communities in Kyiv oblast allocated over UAH 2.28 billion to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In the first five months of this year, the oblast provided UAH 1.2 billion in support to military formations.
Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree awarding the President of Ukraine’s ‘Future of Ukraine’ distinction to 24 children who saved people and showed courage and patriotism during the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine. Five of those kids live in Kyiv and oblast.
Scientists from the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture (KNUCA), together with their partners, have launched an international project entitled ‘Development of new approaches and construction materials for the restoration of Ukraine’s damaged infrastructure, taking into account environmental sustainability.’ The aim of the project is to create innovative concrete mixtures using waste materials, in particular destroyed structures, for construction using 3D printing and traditional methods.
Zhytomyr oblast
The Regional Military Administration reported that 74 specialists are already working in Zhytomyr Oblast to support veterans and mobilised persons. They work in 45 municipal institutions of the oblast’s territorial communities, which serve veterans from 49 communities.
In Zhytomyr, new school buses were handed over to general secondary education institutions in oblast, to transport students to their places of study. A new step towards safe and accessible education – 27 school buses for communities.
Sumy oblast
Oleh Hryhorov, Head of Sumy Regional Military Administration said that active combat operations continue in certain border areas of Sumy oblast, particularly near the settlements of Khotin and Yunakivka communities. As of the evening of 29 May, the operational situation remains difficult but under control. The enemy is operating in small groups, attempting to infiltrate border villages and establish positions.
Serhii Kryvosheienko, Head of the Military Administration informed that at night on 30 May, russian forces struck Stetskivka elder council in Sumy region by a drone. As a result of the attack, four houses were damaged, roofs were hit, and ten windows were shattered. Additionally, a power line was severed, leaving ten houses without electricity.
According to the Regional Military Administration, over the course of a day, from the morning of 29 May to the morning of 30 May, russian forces carried out nearly 100 attacks on 33 settlements across 14 territorial communities in the oblast. The highest number of strikes were recorded in Sumy and Shostka regions. The enemy heavily used guided aerial bombs (over 10 strikes), multiple launch rocket systems (nearly 60 strikes), and drone-dropped explosive grenades (over 10 strikes). Additionally, russian forces launched UAV, FPV-drone, and missile attacks.

Over the past day, russian shelling has damaged:
- In Seredyna-Buda community: two private residential buildings and a civilian infrastructure facility.
- In Khotin community: a civilian infrastructure facility.
- In Sumy community: private houses, vehicles, and a civilian infrastructure facility.

Over the past day, local authorities, in coordination with units from the State Emergency Service, the National Police, and public organizations from border communities, evacuated 51 people.
Oleh Hryhorov, Head of Sumy Regional Military Administration announced that over the past week, more than 500 residents have been evacuated from the border areas of Sumy oblast, which are under constant attack.
Chernihiv oblast
The National Police informed that on the morning of 30 May, russian forces attacked Semenivka community using drones. As a result of UAV strikes, three local residents — a 61-year-old man and two women aged 67 and 56 — were injured and hospitalized. Semenivka Mayor Serhii Dedenko reported that one of the strikes targeted the city center near a store.

Pavlo Miroshnychenko, Head of Koriukivka Regional Military Administration said that in the village of Snovska community, on 30 May at 5am, a drone strike damaged a store, a residential building, and a non-residential building.
According to the Regional Military Administration, over the past day, russian forces attacked 10 settlements in three border communities. In a village in Snovsk region, houses caught fire due to shelling.
Chernihiv Border Detachment reported that throughout 29 May, russian forces attacked Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, and Snovsk communities. The enemy carried out shelling by barrel artillery (2 strikes), used guided aerial bombs (4 strikes), deployed FPV-drones (3 strikes), and dropped explosive devices from UAVs (11 strikes).
“North” Operational Command informed that over the course of 29 and 30 May, russian forces damaged two educational buildings, five civilian vehicles, houses, and agricultural structures in the border areas of Chernihiv oblast due to attacks by guided aerial bombs and FPV-drones.
Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
Mykola Lukashuk, Head Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Council, reported that from evening until night, the occupiers attacked Nikopol region.bThey fired artillery at Chervonohryhorivka and Pokrovsk communities, and launched a kamikaze drone at Myrove community. In Chervonohryhorivka community, 3 private houses, an outbuilding and a gas pipeline were damaged. According to updated information, a private house in Nikopol was damaged by a drone strike in the evening.
During the day, the occupiers attacked two refions of the oblast – Nikopol and Synelnykovw. Nikopol region was hit more than three dozen times. They used drones and artillery.
The region centre, Marhanets, Chervonohryhorivslka, Pokrovsk and Myrove communities were targeted. A multi-storey building, utility companies, 5 private houses were damaged, and a fire broke out in one of them, which was quickly extinguished. The enemy also hit a fire station, and service vehicles were damaged. A garage, 2 outbuildings, 3 greenhouses, the same number of buildings that were not in use, a car, solar panels and a gas pipeline were hit.
The russian army struck Novopavlivka community in Sinelnykove region with multiple rocket launchers. An agricultural enterprise was damaged.
Kirovohrad oblast
Andrii Raikovych, Head of Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration, said that restoration work continues in Svitlovodsk after an enemy attack. Over the past 24 hours, the headquarters received 243 reports from residents about damage to their homes. 189 objects have already been inspected and the extent of damage has been preliminarily determined. 4 buildings were completely destroyed. 14 have been severely damaged.
Cherkasy oblast
Ihor Taburets, Head of Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, reported that another “one-stop shop” for veterans has been opened in Uman, the hundredth in the Cherkasy oblast. Thanks to this service, our veterans and their families can receive more than 20 administrative services. We managed to build such a network in almost a year. Cherkasy oblast is among the leaders in the country in terms of the number of “one-stop shops” in the Administrative Service Centres.
Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine
Zaporizhzhia oblast
Today, 30 May, the russian army attacked Zaporizhzhia. As a result of the shelling, a fire broke out at an infrastructure facility and more than 13,000 consumers were left without electricity. As of 4:15 pm, power engineers had restored electricity to all consumers.
On 29 May, the occupiers carried out 507 strikes on 17 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast. The enemy launched 41 airstrikes on Stepnohirsk, Kamianske, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Novodarivka, Kopani, Novoselivka, Malynivka, Verkhnia Tersa, Olhivske, and Huliaipilske. 301 UAVs of various modifications (mostly FPV) attacked Bilenke, Prymorske, Kamianske, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, and Novodarivka. One MLRS strike hit Novodanylivka. 164 artillery strikes were launched on the territories of Kamianske, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, and Novodarivka. Twenty reports were received about damage to apartments, private houses, vehicles, and infrastructure facilities. Two people were killed and five more were injured as a result of enemy strikes on Polohy and Vasylivka regions.
According to the General Staff, the russians launched three attacks towards Orikhiv. The occupiers tried to advance toward Novodanylivka.
Mykolaiv oblast
Yesterday, 29 May, at 10:05 a.m., the enemy struck Horokhivske community with, presumably, an Iskander-M ballistic missile. As a result of the attack, one person was killed and three others were injured. In addition, a grain storage site, a hangar, and a tractor belonging to a farming enterprise were damaged.
Also yesterday, 29 May, the enemy attacked the city of Ochakiv and the waters of Ochakiv community three times with FPV drones. At 12:40 pm, the enemy carried out an FPV drone strike on Kutsurub community. As a result of the attack a residential building was damaged in the village of Dniprovske. There were no casualties.
Odesa oblast
At night, the enemy attacked Izmail with strike drones. A post office was completely destroyed, and a fire broke out at the site. Postal trucks parked nearby were also damaged.

On the night of 30 May, air defense forces in the south shot down 14 strike drones of the “Shahed” type and other types over Odesa oblast.
On the night of 29 May, a state-of-the-art russian jet drone, presumably a “DAN-M,” was destroyed over the Black Sea. It was shot down using a mobile air defense system developed by Defense Intelligence specialists with the support of international partners
As of 6:00 am on 30 May, 3 enemy ships were stationed in the Mediterranean Sea, including 1 carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles, with a total salvo capacity of up to 8 missiles.
Over the past day, 5 vessels passed through the Kerch Strait into the Black Sea in russia’s interests, while 5 more ships entered the Sea of Azov.
As a result of russian aggression, about 400 port infrastructure facilities were damaged, 31 civilian vessels were affected, and 106 industry workers were injured. According to Deputy Minister for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine Andrii Kashuba, the estimated cost of restoring Ukraine’s port infrastructure currently stands at approximately one billion euros.
Kherson oblast
On 30 May, 2025, around 09:00, russian forces attacked Kherson with artillery. A man and a woman who were on the street at the time of the strike were killed.
A 54-year-old man in Dniprovskyi district of Kherson was injured in the attack. He sustained a blast injury and shrapnel wounds to his legs, abdomen, and forearm. Later, another casualty was reported: a 38-year-old woman who suffered a blast injury, a traumatic brain injury, and a concussion.
Around 16:00 today, russians attacked a civilian car in Komyshany with a drone. A man sustained a blast injury and shrapnel wounds to the shoulder and back.
At about 09:30, Russians struck Novoraisk in Beryslav region with a drone. Three people suffered blast injuries, concussions, and shrapnel wounds.
Medical assistance was needed for a woman who was injured in a drone attack on Velyetenske on 28 May. The 66-year-old woman was diagnosed with a blast injury, concussion, chest contusion, and burns.
A resident of Bilozerka sought medical help after being injured in a russian drone attack on 27 May. The 42-year-old woman suffered a blast injury and a fractured shoulder. A resident of Kherson also sought medical help after a drone strike in the Dnipro district on 20 May. The 31-year-old man was diagnosed with a blast injury and concussion.
Yesterday, 29 May, the russsian forces attacked Antonivka, Komyshany, Inzhenerne, Sadove, Prydniprovske, Bilozerka, Stanislav, Kizomys, Oleksandrivka, Beryslav, Dudchany, Novovorontsovka, Novoberyslav, Osokorivka, Chervonyi Maiak, Novoraisk, Biliaivka, Havrylivka, Ukrainka, Olhivka, Vesele, Doslidne, Zmiivka, Zolota Balka, Ivanivka, Kozatske, Kostyrka, Mykilske, Mykolaivka, Mykhailivka, Monastyrske, Novooleksandrivka, Poniativka, Sofiivka, and the city of Kherson. As a result of the attacks, five apartment buildings, thirteen private homes, a cell tower, and private vehicles were damaged. Three people were killed and eleven others were injured due to russian aggression.
Later, Kherson Regional Military Administration reported the death of a Kherson resident from yesterday’s russian shelling.
During the past week, from 23 to 29 May, Kherson police conducted 45 evacuation operations. They evacuated 53 citizens, including two children.
According to the General Staff, the enemy carried out two unsuccessful attacks on the Prydniprovskyi front. Enemy losses over the past day amounted to 126 personnel, 15 artillery systems, 9 units of vehicles and armored equipment, 3 drones (“Supercam”, “Zala”), 5 motorcycles, 2 boats, 3 generators, 1 surveillance camera, 8 UAV control antennas, 9 communication antennas, 4 Starlink antennas, and 2 field ammunition storage buildups. In addition, 44 enemy personnel shelters, 1 firing position, and 1 observation post were destroyed.
The Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police detained four collaborators in Kherson who cooperated with the russian occupiers during the occupation of the right-bank part of Kherson oblast. The suspects are in custody with no right to bail. They face up to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.

Volyn oblast
The Future of Ukraine State Award for courage, resilience and patriotism, established by the Decree of the President of Ukraine, was awarded to Zakhar Babak, student of Boholiubskyi Lyceum №30 of Lutsk City Council. Zakhar’s father is a defender of Ukraine who has been in captivity since July 2023. For 22 consecutive months, the boy, together with his mother, has been participating in weekly actions in support of Ukrainian servicemen who are in captivity or missing.
Zakarpattia oblast
This week, the Owl’s Nest Humanitarian Aid Center provided IDPs registered in Uzhgorod with 50 bags with grocery sets and 80 loaves of bread. During the week, volunteers gave out clothes, shoes, bed linen and dishes (1,050 items) from the PDUM Partnerschaft Deutschland-Ukraine/Moldova e. V., Luftfahrt ohne Grenzen / Wings of Help e.V., Spletinnia Kosice, Valentyn Stefano and other benefactors.

Lviv oblast
The President of Ukraine awarded Vasyl Ilyuk, Senior Rifleman-Operator from Lybokhora, with the III degree For Courage Order (posthumously). He was killed in September 2024 while performing a combat mission near the settlement of Myasozharivka, Luhansk oblast.
Rivne oblast
A job fair for veterans and their family members was held in Rivne oblast. The emphasis was on the agricultural sector. During the event, they talked about employment opportunities and starting their own business in this industry. They presented 5 free online training courses designed specifically for veterans and their families.
Ternopil oblast
Lanovets community and the city of Mondragone, Italy, signed a Letter of Intent for cooperation. The key areas of partnership include: development of intermunicipal cooperation; exchange of experience in the field of local self-government and management; establishment of interaction in the fields of education and culture, and joint initiatives in the field of European integration.
The 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Brigadier General Mark Bezruchko received 35 FPV drones from Ternopil community.
Khmelnytskyi oblast
The RMA and the YURVEST PLUS LLC signed a Memorandum on the implementation of an investment project for the construction of a bioethanol complex in the village of Stara Synyava. The creation of a new production facility that will be able to produce up to 120 cubic meters of bioethanol per day, along with it there will be new jobs and additional revenues to local budgets. In the future, it is planned to create a technological park on the basis of this facility on an area of 18 hectares, open to other enterprises. The initial investment volume is $ 54 million from foreign investors.
Chernivtsi oblast
Valeriy Monarkha, a man with a disability, completed a charity walking marathon, during which he raised UAH 221,522 for the needs of fellow countrymen from Putyl region who are defending Ukraine in Kharkiv and Sumy oblasts. Despite a stroke in the past and difficult weather conditions, he walked from Putyla to Chernivtsi using a walker.
