War in Ukraine today: latest news, 29 October, 2024 (photo)

It has been the 979th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 4 pm:   

On 29 October, the russian army continued to try to advance into the depths of Ukraine’s territory, and the defence forces were holding back the invaders, inflicting significant losses on them. The number of enemy attacks was 104. The occupiers are making the main efforts towards Kupiansk and Kurakhove, where they conducted half of all attacks on the territory of Ukraine. In addition, the occupiers were active towards Siversk and Pokrovsk.

The border areas of Sumy oblast continued to suffer from russian air strikes. In particular, the terrorists attacked the vicinity of Marchykhina Buda, Mykilske and Nova Sich with guided aerial bombs, dropping five unmanned aerial vehicles. A number of settlements in Chernihiv and Sumy oblasts, including Volfine, Turia, Basivka, Mkhy, Obody and Zhuravka, suffered from the shelling of the terrorist army. 

The enemy also carried out nine airstrikes using 17 KABs in Kursk oblast.

Towards Kharkiv, the occupiers stormed Ukrainian positions towards Vovchansk twice with the support of aviation. One battle is still ongoing. The enemy also attacked Kharkiv and Hoptivka with aerial bombs.

Towards Kupiansk, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions 22 times. Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy attacks near Synkivka, Kolisnykivka, Torske, Zahryzove and Lozova. There were 12 firefights near Holubivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Novoosynove, Berestove and Terny. 

Towards Lyman, enemy units attacked in the vicinities of Hrekivka, Druzhelyubivka, Cherneshchyna and Yampolivka. Ukrainian troops repelled five attacks.

Towards Siversk, the enemy attacked in the vicinities of Bilohorivka, Verkhnekamianske, Zvanivka and Ivan-Darivka. He carried out four airstrikes on Siversk and two on Riznykivka.

Towards Kramatorsk, the invaders carried out two assault operations near Stupochki. One attack is currently underway.

Towards Toretsk, Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy attacks in the vicinity of Toretsk and Shcherbynivka.

Towards Pokrovsk, the occupiers made 11 attempts to push Ukrainian  defenders from their positions near the settlements of Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Selydove and Vyshneve. The defence forces, holding back the enemy’s onslaught, repelled nine enemy attacks in the area. The enemy suffered significant losses in manpower.

The largest number of engagements was recorded towards Kurakhove, where the invaders attacked Ukrainian units 29 times, trying to advance in the vicinity of Zoriane, Kurakhivka, Kreminna Balka, Novoselydivka, Novodmytrivka, Maksymilianivka, Dalne, Antonivka, Katerynivka and Trudove.

Towards Vremivsk, the militants conducted six attacks on Ukrainian troops’ positions near Novoukrainka, Yasna Polyana and Shakhtarske. Four firefights are ongoing.

Towards Orikhiv, the enemy used attack aircraft and fired unguided missiles near Novoandriivka.

Towards Kherson, the enemy made one unsuccessful attempt to storm the positions of Ukrainian troops. He fired unguided aerial missiles at Lvove.


Martial law and mobilisation have been extended until February 2025. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy submitted to the Parliament draft laws to approve his decrees on the extension of martial law and general mobilisation. The Verkhovna Rada supported draft law 12151, which proposes to approve the Presidential Decree on the extension of martial law, and draft law 12152, which proposes to extend the term of general mobilisation. The documents were supported by 311 MPs. Thus, martial law and mobilisation will be extended from 10 November for another 90 days until 7 February 2025.

 NSDC Secretary Oleksandr Lytvynenko in his speech to the Rada reports that another 160,000 citizens are to be drafted into the Defence Forces. In total, 1 million 50 thousand citizens were drafted. It is planned to draft another 160,000 people. This will make it possible to staff units up to 85%. 

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Towards Kurakhove, there were more than a third of the combat actions according to the General Staff.

Towards Kurakhove, Ukrainian Armed Forces stopped 48 attacks near Zoriane, Maksymilianivka, Novodmytrivka, Katerynivka and Antonivka.

Towards Pokrovsk, Ukrainian troops repelled 31 attacks in the vicinity of Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Krutyi Yar, Selydove and Vyshneve.

Anastasia Bobovnikova, Spokeswoman for the Luhansk military operation, informs that the Armed Forces of Ukraine stopped the advance of russian troops towards Toretsk. The russian army continues to storm the positions of the Ukrainian military, but is not successful and is striking the city with aircraft, drones and artillery. There were 15 airstrikes over the past day and the enemy dropped 21 KABs.  

Kharkiv oblast

According to the General Staff, there were 24 battles towards Kharkiv and Kupiansk. 

Towards Kharkiv, the occupiers stormed the positions of Ukrainian troops near Vovchansk twice with the support of aviation. One battle is still ongoing. russia also attacked Kharkiv and Hoptivka with air bombs.

Towards Kupiansk, the occupiers attacked Ukrainian positions 22 times. Ukrainian defenders repelled attacks near Synkivka, Kolisnykivka, Torske, Zahryzove and Lozova. There were 12 firefights near Holubivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Novoosynove, Berestove and Terny.

Viktor Kovalenko, Head of Zolochiv community, says that russia launched FPV drones at the building of the starostat in Odnorobivka at 13:00 and 17:00. The strikes damaged the doors, windows and roof of the two-storey building. The starostat office housed a humanitarian and social centre.

According to the regional prosecutor’s office, four people were killed and seven people suffered an acute stress reaction as a result of a russian airstrike in Osnovianskyi district of Kharkiv.

Viktor Kovalenko, head of the RMA, says that four bombs hit near Petrivka and Kovaliv of Zolochiv community at around 10:50 am. 

At 03:00, russians attacked Kharkiv, Osnovianskyi district. According to the CMA, the shelling destroyed a building, damaged 19 private houses and 4 cars. Two men aged 50 and 57 were injured. 4 people died: two men aged 25 and 26; two women aged 70 and 90.

On 28 October, at 21:50, russians attacked Bohodukhiv district, Zolochiv community, Oleksandrivka village. A fire broke out in a two-storey non-operational administrative building as a result of a hit, and the second floor was partially destroyed.

At 21:02, russians attacked Kharkiv, Shevchenkivskyi district. An unidentified anti-aircraft missile hit the building of Derzhprom. The 3rd floor of the building, the rehabilitation department of the regional clinical hospital, two residential buildings, the building of the Economic Court of Appeal, two educational institutions, a bank, catering facilities, and 7 cars were damaged. Nine people were injured: five men, including a police officer on duty, and four women.

Towards Kharkiv, there were four hostile-initiated combat engagements. The fighting took place in the vicinity of Vovchansk.

The number of combat engagements towards Kupiansk reached 13. Defence forces repelled attacks in the vicinity of Kolisnykivka, Synkivka, Kruhliakivka, Pershotravneve and Lozova.

Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the RMA, says that the state-owned enterprise in the centre of Kharkiv, damaged by a Russian air strike on 28 October, is going to be restored. According to him, there are agreements with UNESCO. Architect Viktor Dvornikov said that the russian strike destroyed authentic structures that were built almost 100 years ago.

Donetsk oblast

Oleksandr Zhuravlev, Head of the RMA, informs that at around 14:00 on 29 October, the russian military struck the town of Lyman, Donetsk oblast, wounding a man and hospitalising him. 

Donetsk regional prosecutor’s office said that in the morning of 29 October, the russian army shelled Oleksiyevo-Druzhkivka. A 37-year-old mother and her two children, a one-and-a-half-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl, were injured. A 74-year-old woman was also injured. A fire broke out in one of the apartment blocks near the apartment buildings as a result of a shell hit. Four apartment buildings were damaged. 

RMA leader Lyakh states that russian troops attacked Sloviansk in the morning. At around 8:30, they shelled the outskirts of the city, without causing any casualties.

Police recorded 3,012 enemy attacks along the frontline and in the residential sector over the past day. The attacks took place in the towns of Kostiantynivka, Myrnohrad, Kurakhivka, Dachne, Maksymivka, Rozdolne, Starodubivka, Stinky and Ulakly. 25 civilian objects were damaged, including 21 residential buildings.

A civilian was killed in Myrnohrad as a result of an enemy artillery strike.

The occupiers dropped three FAB-250 bombs with an UMPK module on Razdolnoye, injuring two civilians and damaging 5 private homes.

The head of the RMA, Filashkin, states that all children have been evacuated from the front line in Donetsk oblast. 12,000 people, including 57 children, remain in Pokrovsk. There are also minors in Konstantinovka, Kramatorsk, Sloviansk, Dobropillia, etc.

Luhansk oblast

Artem Lysohor, Head of the RMA, states that on the morning of 29 October, explosions were heard in occupied Luhansk, and detonations were ongoing. According to him, a military unit was previously mothballed in the area of the explosion, probably, the occupiers stored ammunition there.

The occupants increased the number of attacks in the area of Zhuravka Balka and nearby settlements. They fired 12 times at residential areas and our fortifications from cannon artillery over the course of a day. They sent 42 unmanned aerial vehicles towards Ukrainian defenders. The fighting took place near neighbouring Hrekivka.

The invaders do not draw too much attention to the problems with heating in Lysychansk and other frontline cities. Instead, they are trying their best to demonstrate the results in Siverskodonetsk. However, for two weeks they have been doing a poor job, to put it mildly. Trenches for laying the heating network can be seen in most parts of the city. However, the same situation was observed last autumn. There are problems even where something has been repaired: the occupiers called two emergency teams from the perimeter. 

In Rubizhne, builders abandoned another high-rise building due to lack of funds. On the eve of winter, they left the building, which was supposed to be repaired, with the roof dismantled. The local occupation authorities reported that no repair work was planned for the facility during the cold season. They will try to find a replacement in the spring.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

Ruslan Kravchenko, Head of the RMA, reported that the enemy had been attacking Kyiv oblast with UAVs all night. The attack lasted almost 7 hours. In one of the districts, the falling wreckage of downed hostile targets ignited a grass floor. In another area, drone debris damaged a roadway near a settlement.

In the morning, the russian military attacked Kyiv with drones. As a result of the fall of UAV debris in the Solomianskyi district, fires broke out in a residential building and a commercial building. A gas pipe on the facade of a nine-storey residential building in the residential area was depressurised, causing a fire in a shop. The fire was localised. Several cars burned down. Debris was also reported falling in the Svyatoshyn district, shattering windows in an administrative building.

Kyiv’s State Emergency Service reported that 15 people were evacuated at the scene in Solomianskyi district of the capital, four of whom were handed over to medics. One man was hospitalised with leg injuries.

A delegation from the twin city of Born, led by Deputy Mayor Roland Wübbeke, arrived in Irpin. Municipal enterprises and modular towns will be visited. According to Irpin Mayor Oleksandr Markushyn, the delegates want to see the real needs and determine the next steps in cooperation.

Zhytomyr oblast

The National Police of the oblast reported that law enforcement officers are documenting the consequences of the russian drone attack in Zhytomyr oblast on the night of 28 October. Police and other specialised services were working at the site where the wreckage of the drone launched by the russian army fell. The wreckage of the russian drone fell on the territory of one of the district centres, causing a private house to catch fire. No people were injured.

Zhytomyr Regional State Administration reported that in Korosten, 16 communities in oblast received new school buses purchased at the expense of a state subvention and co-financing from the communities. They noted that at the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the communities of oblast transferred part of the school fleet to the needs of Ukrainian defenders. However, over the past two years, thanks to the efforts of the state, the Regional Military Administration, local communities and international partners, 66 vehicles have been added to the school bus fleet.

Sumy oblast

On 29 October, there were 15 shelling attacks on border areas and settlements in Sumy oblast, resulting in 23 explosions. The attacks targeted Khotin, Yunakivka, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Shalyhyne, Znob-Novhorod communities.

On 28 October, russians carried out 64 shelling attacks on border areas and settlements in Sumy oblast, resulting in 195 explosions. The attacks targeted Khotin, Yunakivka, Myropilia, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Shalyhyne, Esman, Seredyna-Buda, Svesa communities.

Yunakivka community: shelling from the territory of the russian federation by MLPS (30 explosions), by artillery (18 explosions), an air strike (GAB) (2 explosions). As a result of the shelling, 9 private houses were damaged.

Bilopillia community: FPV-drone attack (1 explosion). Enemy UAVs also dropped explosive devices (5 explosions).

Esman community: shelling by FPV-drones (3 explosions), mortar shelling (17 explosions).

Krasnopillia community: the enemy fired artillery (36 explosions), mortars (18 explosions), FPV-drones (7 explosions) and dropped 5 explosive objects (5 explosions) from UAVs.

Myropilia community: the russians hit by self-propelled artillery (8 explosions), fired from a tank (4 explosions).

Shalyhyne community:  the enemy dropped 8 mines on the territory of the community.

Velyka Pysarivka community: mortar shelling (11 explosions), shelling from an enemy NURS helicopter (6 explosions), dropping of explosive devices from an unmanned aerial vehicle (4 explosions) was carried out.

Svesa community: an attack by FPV-drones was carried out from the territory of the russian federation (3 explosions).

Khotin community: russians dropped 5 mines on the territory of the community.

Seredyna-Buda community: enemy UAVs dropped explosive devices (4 explosions).

Sumy Regional Police reported that the White Angels evacuated a woman with four young children from Bilopillia in Sumy Oblast to a safe zone. Living in such conditions has a particularly negative impact on the children’s mental well-being.

In Sumy, aid is being distributed to families with children under five and to pregnant women residing in Sumy community. According to Sumy Deputy Mayor Stanislav Polшakov the aid is available at five distribution points throughout the city and is planned to continue until 31 October. The assistance was provided by Global Empowerment Mission UA and the Howard Buffett Foundation.

Chernihiv oblast

Throughout the day, the russian army attacked three border communities in Chernihiv oblast: Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, and Snovsk. In total, 99 explosions were reported.  

Novhorod-Siverskyi community:

– 1 hit by an FPV-drone in the area of Krasniy Khutir village.

Semenivka community:

– 10 hits from a 120mm mortar in Tymonovychi village;

– 11 hits from barrel artillery in Bleshnia village;

– 4 hits from a 120mm mortar in Halahanivka village;

– 1 airdrop from the UAV in Hremyachka village;

– 20 hits from the rocket salvo system and ten rounds from barrel artillery in Zarichchia village;

– 4 explosions by a 120mm mortar in Zaliznyi Mist village.

Snovsk community:

– 13 hits by a 120mm mortar in Kliusy village;

– 9 hits  by a 120 mm mortar in Yeline village;

– 14 hits  by the barrel artillery in Hirsk village;

– 2 hits  by a 120 mm mortar in Khrinivka village.

No casualties or injuries among the local population were reported as a result of the shelling.

At Chernihiv Regional Council session on 29 October, deputies approved an appeal to foreign partners to support Ukraine’s victory plan. According to Head of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Vyacheslav Chaus, the appeal was addressed to Primorske-Gorski Kotar County (Republic of Croatia), Trenčín Self-Governing Region (Slovak Republic), Île-de-France Region (French Republic), Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (Federal Republic of Germany), the State of Minnesota (USA), Kent County (United Kingdom), and the Republic of Latvia.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

In Kryvyi Rih, a russian missile strike killed a 39-year-old man, injured 14 people and required the rescue of 5 residents by emergency services. The attack caused a fire, damaged 11 apartment buildings, destroyed 12 garages, a clinic, educational institution, administrative building, 9 cars, 10 garages and a gas pipeline. The occupiers continued to attack Nikopol region, striking in the evening and at night by kamikaze drones, artillery and MLRS, targeting Nikopol, Pokrovske, Myrove and Chervonohryhorivka communities. Damage was inflicted on a private home, a gas station, infrastructure and a gas pipeline.

The occupiers continued attacks on Nikopol region throughout the day with more than 20 strikes, by artillery, kamikaze drones and dropping ammunition from UAVs, targeting the regional centre, Marhanets, Pokrovske, Myrove and Chervonohryhorivka communities. The strikes damaged an industrial facility, 7 private houses, 2 outbuildings, a moped, power lines and infrastructure. Updated information shows that the night shelling in Chervonohryhorivka community damaged 3 private houses and 3 outbuildings. In Kryvyi Rih, almost 40 apartment buildings were damaged, 1 partially destroyed, with damage to a school and a cultural centre. A total of 15 people were injured, 8 of whom remain hospitalised, 1 in serious condition.

Since the beginning of autumn, russian forces have conducted 8 missile strikes on Kryvyi Rih, killing 9 people and injuring 58 residents.

Vinnytsia oblast

​​According to Mayor Serhii Morhunov, Vinnytsia oblast continues to support Ukrainian defenders by providing 200 FPV drones and 2 SUVs to the National Guard and Land Forces brigades. The drones have already been sent to the front lines and the vehicles will enhance the mobility of units responsible for countering Shahed drones.

Kirovohrad oblast

Several defenders from Kirovohrad oblast were killed in the war:

  • Dmytro Nikitin, previously reported missing, was confirmed killed on 15 January near Stepove village in Donetsk oblast. He was 57 years old. 
  • Yurii Liushnia, aged 45, killed on 21 October. 
  • Volodymyr Saviieliev killed on 23 October at the age of 47. 
  • Viktor Svyrypa killed on 16 February in Donetsk oblast from mortar shelling injuries at the age of 50. 
  • Ihor Chumak succumbed to his injuries on 23 October in a military hospital at age 43. 
  • Hennadii Horiachkivskyi, a gunner, killed on 23 October while on a mission in Sumy oblast at the age of 40.

Poltava oblast

Valerii Honcharov from Chutivka community was killed while performing a combat mission. Ihor Sapsai from Petrivka-Romenska community, who killed on 24 October in Kharkiv oblast. Sapsai was 43 years old.

According to the RMA, 38 applications were submitted by internally displaced persons (IDPs) to extend their stay at the modular town. Their applications were reviewed on 28 October during a meeting of the commission responsible for temporary housing. 14 new applications were also received from IDPs requesting residence in Poltava modular town.

In Rybalky village, Kozelshchyna community, residents planted a Victory Garden in honour of fallen soldier Serhii Romanchenko. The community planted 95 fruit trees, viburnum, oaks and pines. Romanchenko, aged 38, held the rank of soldier and killed on 24 February 24, 2023, near Kreminna in Luhansk oblast.

In Poltava oblast, 4 centres for studying the Defence of Ukraine subject are being set up at schools. Students in grades 10 and 11 will be trained in tactical medicine, shooting skills, drone operations and robotics.

Cherkasy oblast

In Cherkasy oblast, volunteers have set up a drone workshop to assemble, repair and configure UAVs free of charge. Completed drones are handed over to Ukrainian forces. Over 2 years, the workshop has built and repaired 1,000 drones.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

Vladyslav Voloshyn, Spokesperson of Southern Defence Forces, reported that russian forces continue assault operations in Orikhiv axis near Robotyne and Novodanylivka villages in Zaporizhzhia oblast. Recently, russian forces advanced near Levadne in Zaporizhzhia oblast, but Defence Forces are implementing stabilisation measures to regain control of these positions.

As reported by the National Police of the oblast, 2 people were evacuated from Mala Tokmachka frontline village in Zaporizhzhia oblast on 28 October. Earlier, Ivan Fedorov, Head of the RMA, noted that there is no forced or mass evacuation in the oblast, although residents are continuously urged to leave.

On 28 October, russian forces carried out 331 strikes on 9 towns and villages in Zaporizhzhia oblast. This included 19 airstrikes on Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne. There were no casualties or injuries reported.

Mykolaiv oblast

As reported by the State Emergency Service, on 29 October, russian forces reportedly conducted an artillery strike on Ochakiv, causing a parked Nissan Qashqai to catch fire on one of the streets. Firefighters contained the blaze, which affected an area of 5sq m.

Vitalii Kim, Head of the RMA, said that during the night of 29 October, air defence systems were active over Mykolaiv oblast. No further details were disclosed.

Odesa oblast

Oleh Kiper, Head of the RMA, reported that a 71-year-old man was killed as a result of a russian missile strike on Odesa oblast on 29 October. The russian military attacked the oblast by 2 guided Kh-31P missiles launched from Su-30 fighter jets over the Black Sea. 

According to the Air Force, around 5pm, air defence systems were active in Odesa oblast against a reconnaissance drone.

Kherson oblast

As reported by the RMA, around 9am, russian forces shelled Dniprovskyi district of Kherson. 7 people were injured and 2 killed – a 66-year-old woman and a 62-year-old man.

Roman Mrochko, Head of the CMA, reported that a gas pipeline was damaged in Kherson due to russian shelling, cutting off gas supply to Korabelnyi district. Repairs will commence as soon as the security situation permits.

As reported by the Prosecutor’s Office, during the night, russian forces shelled Stanislav in Kherson oblast, hitting a residential building. 4 people, including 2 children, were injured.

Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the RMA, informed that in Lvove village, a 61-year-old man was killed when russian forces struck the area with mortars.

Latest news for today in the western regions of Ukraine

Volyn oblast

Lutsk City Council sent 2 AVENGER Booster 2.4G/5.8G remote antennas, a dual-band signal amplifier for DJI Mavic 3, 3T and Autel quadcopters + 20m cable + tripod bracket + adapter to the 3rd Mechanised Battalion of the Military Unit A4712. The 54th Separate Mechanised Brigade named after Hetman Ivan Mazepa received a DJI Mavic 3T quadcopter, a DJI Mavic 3 quadcopter and a DK3500iA inverter generator set.

Zakarpattia oblast

The RMA reported that over the past 2 months, 326 evacuees, 162 of them children, have arrived in the oblast from the front-line settlements of Donetsk oblast.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

It took place in Ivano-Frankivsk the 1st meeting with families of the missing defenders. Previously, 4 meetings were held with relatives of fallen soldiers.

Lviv oblast

Benefactors from Lviv oblast sent 2 ambulances to the front line for the 56th and 66th brigades of the Armed Forces. Cars are repaired and equipped with the necessary medical equipment.

Taras Bereshchak, senior gunner, was awarded with the III degree For Courage Order. The award was presented to relatives of the fallen defender. The4 serviceman was killed on 21 July, 2023 while performing a combat mission near the village of Novovodiane, Luhansk oblast.

Rivne oblast

Rivne community sent a GMC ambulance to the 104th Rivne brigade. The 95th Polish Airborne Assault Brigade received Reanimobile International. The 36th Marine Brigade received a Nissan Patrol four-wheel drive vehicle and 33 FPV drones. The 101st brigade received 2 FPV drones.

Ternopil oblast

The 14th Mechanised Brigade received 5 Mavic 3 from Ternopil community.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

In the morning, during an air alarm signal, the Air Defence Forces shot down 1 enemy UAV of the Shahed type. The place where debris fell is being established. There were no deaths, injuries or destruction.

Chernivtsi oblast

Another Survival School for children took place in Bukovyna. Students of Tarashanskyi Lyceum received basic skills for action in extreme situations, namely, media literacy and the role of artificial intelligence in the fight against disinformation, how to provide first aid so as not to harm, how to act in critical situations and how to act when explosive objects are detected.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, had a phone conversation with Yoon Seok-yol, President of the Republic of Korea. Leaders of countries discussed the involvement of the North Korean military in the russian invasion.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, met with Jonas Har Stere, Norwegian Prime Minister. They discussed defence cooperation with other partners and long-term security cooperation, namely, NATO for Ukraine, the Victory Plan, and a joint strategy for approaching peace with partners.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, met with Petteri Orpo, Prime Minister of Finland. Among topics discussed during the meeting were the strengthening of an air defence, the supply of artillery ammunition and investments in the production of Ukrainian long-range drones and missiles.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, met with Ulf Kristersson, Prime Minister of Sweden. One of the key topics of the meeting is the Victory Plan.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, met with Birhir Armansson, Speaker of the Parliament of Iceland, and members of the Committee on Foreign Affairs. They discussed implementation of the Peace Formula and preparation for the 2nd Peace Summit.
