Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm:
On 27 August, russian invaders continued to assault Ukrainian defenders’ positions.
There were 85 combat engagements on the front line.
According to updated information, enemy artillery and mortar fire impacted the vicinities of Sopych, Bachivsk, Porokhon, Pokrovka, Krasnopillia, Dmytrivka, Sydorivka, Ulianove and Orlivka. Additionally, russian forces carried out airstrikes with guided bombs (KABs) on Vorozhba, Esman, Vilna Sloboda, Atynske, Horile and Bezsalivka.
Towards Kharkiv, the enemy continued to assault defensive positions near Vovchansk, and the attack is still ongoing. The russians also launched unguided air rockets (NAR) towards Kozacha Lopan.
Towards Kupiansk, the enemy conducted 15 offensive operations near Synkivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Kolisnykivka and Stelmakhivka, with seven attacks still ongoing. They also carried out five airstrikes on Senkove, Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, Synkivka and Petropavlivka.
Towards Lyman, the enemy launched seven assaults near Druzheliubivka, Nevske and Novosadove, but skillful actions by Ukrainian defenders halted the advance.
Towards Siversk, Ukrainian forces repelled an enemy attack near Verkhnokamianske.
Towards Kramatorsk, the enemy advanced towards Hryhorivka, Andriivka and Klishchiivka but suffered defeats after six clashes.
Towards Toretsk, the invaders made nine attempts to displace Ukrainian units from their positions near Toretsk and Niu-York but were unsuccessful.
Towards Pokrovsk, russian forces launched 25 assaults around the vicinities of Sukha Balka, Vozdvyzhenka, Zelenyi Pid, Myrolyubivka, Novooleksandrivka, Mykhailivka, Novohrodivka, and Selydove. Ukrainian Defense Forces held back the russian pressure, repelling 24 attacks, with one battle still ongoing. Enemy losses in this direction are being clarified.
Towards Kurakhove, the invaders attacked 11 times, with nine attempts thwarted and two still ongoing near Karlivka.
Towards Vremivka, the enemy made five unsuccessful assaults near Vodiane and Prechystivka.
Towards Orikhiv, the enemy launched three assaults near Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne, all of which were repelled by Ukrainian defenders.
Towards Kherson, the occupiers suffered losses during two assaults on Ukrainian positions. Using aviation, they dropped five KABs on the vicinities of Sadove and Tiahynka.
On other fronts, the operational situation remained unchanged.
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal reported that during a massive attack, russia targeted substations with cluster rockets for the first time. Despite dozens of missiles launched by the russians, Ukraine lost only a “very small” amount of equipment.
The LifeSavingTruck, a mobile donation centre, travelled through Ukrainian cities as part of the “We Are One Blood” initiative by PUMB bank in partnership with DonorUA and “Blood Agents”. Residents of Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Odesa, Lviv and Kyiv donated 209.5 litres of blood, potentially saving 1,395 lives. A total of 465 donors participated, and all blood will go to wounded soldiers and civilians. The project also featured a charity merchandise corner, where each donor received a 25% discount, and 50% of the proceeds were directed to DonorUA, Blood Agents, and Hospitallers. This initiative, launched over two years ago, has helped save 126,587 lives.
Recent war events in the east of Ukraine
The russian army intensified pressure towards Vremivka and attacked with armoured vehicles – the number of attempts to break through the defence doubled overnight. According to the General Staff, russian troops were operating near Vuhledar, Vodiane and Prechistivka.
Also russian troops increased the number of attacks towards Pokrovsk and Ukrainian troops repelled 60 attacks there, specifically near Vozdvyzhenka, Hrodivka, Novohrodivka, Memryk, Kalynove and Karlivka.
There were also twice as many attacks towards Toretsk compared to the previous day as the occupiers attempted to advance 15 times near Toretsk and Niu-York.
Kharkiv oblast
Dmytro Chubenko, Spokesman of the Regional Prosecutor’s Office, reported that russian troops hit Bohodukhiv in the morning with Tornado-S MRLs. According to him, as of 11:30am, three hit sites were identified. One of them was at a public transport stop. Two hits were at an enterprise: a person died there.
At 9:29am, the enemy struck two infrastructure facilities in Bohodukhiv. According to the RMA, a 72-year-old man was killed in the shelling. 8 people were injured. Among them are two minors: a 17-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy. They and another 42-year-old man were hospitalised with moderate injuries.

Mykola Sikalenko, Head of the Village Military Administration, informed that russian troops shelled Tsyrkuny. According to him, there is damage to houses. Information about the consequences of the shelling is being established.
At 8:29am, russians attacked Nemyshlianskyi district, which led to the burning of grass in an open area.
From 3:50 to 4:45am, russians attacked Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi village of Kupiansk region. As a result of the shelling, grass and an outbuilding were burning.
At 2:40am, russians attacked Bohuslavka village of Borova community, Izium region. The shelling damaged 4 private houses and a car.
Yesterday at 11:43pm, russians attacked Andriivka village of Donets community, Izium region. They hit an infrastructure facility with an Iskander. The buildings and 3 cars were damaged and 4 people injured.
At 5:40pm, russians attacked Nechvolodivka village of Kindrashivka community, Kupiansk region. As a result of the shelling, grass burned on an area of 2 hectares.

At 2:30pm, russians attacked Oleksandrivka village of Zolochiv community, Bohodukhiv region. The shelling damaged a fence and a truck.
At 1:30pm, russians attacked Ustynivka village of Vilkhuvatka community, Kupiansk region. As a result of the shelling, grass and shrubs were burning on an area of 2 hectares in the open area.
At 1:10pm, russians attacked Kozacha Lopan village of Derhachi community, Kharkiv region. The shelling damaged a private house.
At 12pm, russians attacked Postolne village of Zolochiv community, Bohodukhiv region. A house was damaged by russian shelling.
At 11:57am, russians attacked near Hlazunivka village of Donets community, Izium region. A shell hit the ground in an open area. The fence of the enterprise was damaged.
At 11:40am, russians attacked Svitlychne village of Zolochiv community, Bohodukhiv region. A private house was burning as a result of the occupier’s actions.
At 9:01am, russians attacked outside Oleksiivka village of Lozova region. Grass and bushes were burning on an area of 1 hectare.
At 8:35am, russians attacked Pershotravneve village of Krasnohrad region. As a result of the fall of fragments of an unidentified type of ammunition, an infrastructure facility was damaged.
At 8:25am, russians attacked Kopanka village of Donets community, Izium region. They hit an infrastructure facility. A 41-year-old man was killed and a 32-year-old man injured.
Towards Kharkiv, the aggressor continued its offensive. There were three combat engagements near Vovchansk.
Towards Kupiansk, the number of attacks totalled 16 yesterday. Defence forces repelled enemy assaults near Novoosynove, Hlushkivka, Stelmakhivka and Andriivka.
Yesterday 90 russian soldiers were killed and injured. According to the Kharkiv operational-strategic group, 87 pieces of weapons and military equipment of russian troops, 61 shelters and two ammunition storage sites were destroyed.
In Hlyboke, russian troops remotely mine the area with Butterfly mines, dropping them with the help of drones. According to the Kharkiv OSG, the russian army conducted an internal rotation near Starytsia and Ohirtseve. In Vovchansk, the occupiers are manning up assault groups to continue their offensive and conducting aerial reconnaissance to detect the Defence Forces.
Donetsk oblast
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi reported that russia has concentrated its most combat-ready units towards Pokrovsk. Despite the operation in Kursk region, the occupiers are not withdrawing their troops from this area, on the contrary, they are concentrating them to reach the Kostiantynivka-Pokrovsk highway and disrupt the logistics of the Ukrainian army.
For the third time in a week, the enemy fired at the Feniks evacuation group. The evacuation team came under attack from an enemy FPV drone as it was heading to the evacuation site in Ukrainsk, Pokrovsk region. The armoured vehicle was damaged. Two rescuers and a policeman in the vehicle were not injured.
RMA Head Liakh said that a petrol station, cars, and a hotel building were damaged by russian shelling in Sloviansk community in the morning, the occupation forces struck near the Kharkiv-Dovzhansk highway at around 10:30am. There were no casualties.

Yesterday police recorded 2,732 attacks on the frontline and residential areas.
The enemy shelled Kostiantynivka, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Novoekonomichne, Yampil, Malynivka, Myroliubivka and Shchurove villages.
15 civilian objects were destroyed, including three residential buildings, recreation centres, a church, a laundry, cars and gas pipelines.

Also russia dropped a KAB-500 bomb with a UMPK module on Pokrovsk, damaging an industrial facility and a gas pipeline.
The enemy troops shelled Kostiantynivka twice with artillery. The first attack took place yesterday afternoon, damaging an apartment building, a private house, a laundry, an outbuilding and two cars.
The second attack took place today at around 3:20am. A man was injured and three private houses damaged.
The shelling damaged a church in Novoekonomichne and a private house in Myroliubivka.
The russians attacked Shchurovske by Smerch MRLs, damaging recreation centres, no one was injured.

Luhansk oblast
The invaders fired at Nevske and Makiivka with cannon artillery. According to the RMA, three strikes were launched from a multiple rocket launcher system at Makiivka. Unmanned aerial vehicles are being actively used in the area. As of yesterday, there were 93 of them. 62 of them were directed towards Makiivka.
Also russians tried to advance near five settlements in Luhansk oblast. Fighting took place near Stelmakhivka, Andriivka, Nevske, Hrekivka and Makiivka.
In Sievierodonetsk, the occupiers do not recommend reporting looting of apartments to the russian security forces. The number of such cases is only growing, and most of them are carried out by the russian military, which they simply do not want to deal with. The official reason for the refusal is that all forces are focused on searching for saboteurs and patrolling.
In the cities of the so-called “lpr”, in particular Lutuhyne, you can see many advertisements from military enlistment offices. They invite people to join the contract service, but the situation with the observance of laws in the occupied territory is not so good, so you may not get any incentive payments at all.
What is happening now in the north of Ukraine
Kyiv oblast
Ruslan Kravchenko, Head of the RMA, informed that for the second night in a row, the enemy was massively attacking Kyiv oblast using attack drones and missiles. The alert lasted over 8 hours. There were no hits to residential or critical infrastructure. There were no casualties.
As a result of the falling debris, grass and forest floors caught fire outside settlements in several communities. The fires have been extinguished. Operational teams continue to work to record and eliminate the consequences of the russian attack.
In Kyiv, debris fell on a forest park in Dnipro district of the city. As a result, a fire broke out on the forest floor over an area of up to 50m2. There is no information about the victims.
Mobile Rescue Centre of State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported that following the russian shelling on 26 August, pyrotechnics of State Emergency Service of Ukraine eliminated the consequences of a russian missile attack at three locations in Kyiv oblast. Experts seized tandem warheads of three X-101 cruise missiles. The warheads were destroyed at a special training ground.
DTEK announced that emergency power cuts are being introduced in Kyiv, Kyiv oblast and three other oblasts. The order was given by Ukrenerho due to the difficult situation with the power grid. Hourly restriction schedules do not apply in these regions.
The Regional Military Administration announced that 490 Invincibility Centres have been deployed in Kyiv oblast due to the power outage. The stations were opened by local authorities, State Emergency Service, responsible businesses and Ukrzaliznytsia. More will be set up if necessary. In Kyiv, trolleybuses and trams have returned to their normal schedules, which were eisruped by a power shortage on 26 August caused by russian attack on Ukraine’s power grid.
Mayor Vitalii Klychko confirmed that Kyiv has received 3,000 non-military bulletproof vests as a charitable donation from the mayor’s office of the twin city of Brussels and Brussels Saint Pierre Hospital. The bulletproof vests will protect Kyiv medics and emergency and municipal workers when they provide assistance to victims of russian attacks and when dealing with the aftermath of shelling.
Zhytomyr oblast
Vitalii Bunechko, head of the Regional Military Administration, , informed that on 27 August, air defence forces shot down russian drones in Zhytomyr oblast. During the attack by the ‘Shahedis’ on one of the military infrastructure facilities, all the kamikaze drones were destroyed. No one was injured at the military facility.
In Zhytomyr oblast, the consequences of the russian shelling that took place on 26 August are still being eliminated. Critical infrastructure and residential buildings were damaged. Power supply has now been restored in oblast and emergency shutdown schedules introduced by Ukrenergo are in effect.
Mayor Serhii Sukhomlyn announced that as of the evening of 26 August, most of Zhytomyr remained without electricity supply. Public electric transport will not operate on 27 August. The city intends to additionally allocate backup generators for medical facilities to ensure their uninterrupted functioning. Communal enterprises will provide fuel for the generators.
Deputy Mayor of Zhytomyr Oleksandr Shevchuk informed that buses have been used instead of trolleybuses and trams for the second day in a row. This measure was applied due to a shortage of electricity in the city’s power grid after the russian shelling on the morning of 26 August.
Sumy oblast
On the morning, 27 August, russian troops shelled a settlement in Sumy oblast. A private residential building and two outbuildings caught fire. Rescuers of Sumy Oblast extinguished the fire.
Sumy RMA reported that a civilian was injured in Esman community due to a russian FPV drone attack. It happened on the night of 27 August. This was reported in Sumy OVA.
Operational Command “North” informed that in Esman, as a result of the shelling, one administrative building was destroyed and another damaged. Additionally, three apartment buildings, three private houses, a critical infrastructure facility, and an educational institution were damaged, according to Operational Command ‘North.’
During night and morning, russians carried out 9 shelling attacks on border areas and settlements in Sumy oblast, resulting in 21 explosions. The attacks targeted Bilopollia, Esman, Nova Slobidka, Seredyna-Buda communities.
Through day, on 26 August, russians carried out 83 shelling attacks on border areas and settlements in Sumy oblast, resulting in 212 explosions. The attacks targeted Vorozhba, Velyka Pysarivka, Bilopillia, Khotiv, Krasnopillia, Shalyhyne, Svessa, Esman, Khluhiv, Seredyna-Buda, Druzhbivka communities.
Vorozhba community: the enemy carried out an airstrike by a KAB (8 explosions), two civilians were injured.
Krasnopollia community: the russians carried out an airstrike by the KAB (3 explosions), five civilians were injured, the enemy also fired artillery (11 explosions), as a result of which two civilians were injured, mortar shelling (10 explosions), shelling from MLRS was also recorded (20 explosions), dropping explosive devices from a UAV (5 explosions), FPV drone attack (7 explosions).
Esman community: mortar shelling (4 explosions), KAB airstrike (19 explosions), FPV drone attack (16 explosions) were carried out.
Khotiv community: KAB airstrike (2 explosions).
Bilopollia community: the enemy carried out an airstrike by the KAB (7 explosions), as a result of the shelling, five civilians were injured, the russians also fired mortars (2 explosions) and barrel artillery (3 explosions).
Velyka Pysarivka community: artillery shelling (17 explosions), mortar shelling (19 explosions), anti-aircraft fire (17 explosions), dropping of explosive devices from a UAV (2 explosions), the enemy also attacked by an FPV drone (3 explosions), two people were injured local residents.
Hlukhiv community: FPV drone attack (3 explosions).

National Police Directorate in Chernihiv oblast reported that on the night of 27 August, the кussians shelled five houses in one of the villages of Semenivka community with multiple rocket launchers. There are no casualties.
The russian army has been attacking three border communities of Chernihiv Oblast: Novhorod-Siversk, Semenivka, and Snovsk communities.
Novhorod-Siversk community:
2 explosions (probably by barrel artillery) and two explosions (probably from multiple rocket launchers) in Krasnyi Khutir towards.
11 explosions (probably by a 120 mm mortar) and one explosion (probably by FPV drone) in Zarechchia village,
8 explosions (probably by a 120 mm mortar) in Serhievske village,
20 explosions (probably from MLRS) in towards Ugly.
Snovsk community:
9 explosions (probably bya 120 mm mortar) in towards Kliusy.
No casualties or injuries from shelling among the local population have been reported.
The air alert in Chernihiv Oblast at night from 26 to 27 August lasted more than 14 hours: from 10:23p.m. to 1:09p.m. It became one of the longest during the full-scale invasion of the russian federation on the territory of Ukraine — 14 hours and 46 minutes.
Oleksandr Lomako, acting Head of Chernigov during the city-wide meeting on 27 August reported that in Chernihiv, they plan to develop the concept of a memorial to all defenders who gave their lives for the independence and freedom of Ukraine. The all-Ukrainian competition is planned to be announced in 2024-2025.
Armwrestling Federation of Ukraine announced that Serhiy Semerenko, an athlete from Chernihiv Oblast, won a silver award (on his left hand) and a bronze award (on his right hand) at the Para-armwrestling World Championship in the weight category up to 90 kilograms among people with musculoskeletal injuries and visual impairments.
Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
At night, on 27 August, the russian troops once again committed terror against civilians. An enemy missile hit a hotel in Kryvyi Rih. There are 3 dead and 5 injured. A 37-year-old man was hospitalised. He is in moderate condition. Three more injured will be treated at home. The rescue operation is ongoing, all services are working at the scene. Four multi-storey buildings, 6 shops and 8 cars were damaged.
The invaders attacked Nikopol from evening till morning. They shelled the area with artillery and dropped ammunition from drones. They targeted the district centre, Pokrovsk and Marhanets communities. There were no casualties.
The Air Armed forces successfully worked in the region. The military shot down 5 enemy Shaheds at night.
A 70-year-old man was killed in Marhanets as a result of enemy shelling. In total, the occupants attacked the area about two dozen times. They used artillery, Grad rocket launchers and drones. They targeted the district centre, Pokrovsk, Chervonohryhorivka, Myrove and Marhanets communities. A garage and a car were destroyed, and a museum, administrative building, private houses, outbuildings, power lines, gas pipeline and infrastructure were damaged. One more person remains missing following the nighttime missile attack on Kryvyi Rih. Rescuers continue to work at the scene. Eight shops and cafes, 14 multi-storey buildings, two dozen cars were damaged in the city.
Vinnytsia oblast
Serhii Morhunov, Mayor of Vinnytsia, said that the oblast has once again handed over 200 drones to Vinnytsia Brigade of the National Guard. In addition, a minibus was purchased to transport personnel at the expense of the previously transferred subvention.
The Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported that in Vinnytsia oblast, a fire broke out in a residential building in the morning as a result of enemy shelling, damaging the roof of the house.There were no casualties.
Nataliia Zabolotna, First Deputy Head of Vinnytsia RMA, said that six unmanned aerial vehicles and one cruise missile were shot down in Vinnytsia oblast. A total of 8 drones and 3 cruise missiles flew into the oblast.
Kirovohrad oblast
Andrii Raikovych, Head of Kirovohrad RMA, reported that russian drones were shot down by air defence over the oblast. The wreckage of one of them fell on the territory of a private house in Oleksandriia region. Relevant services are working at the scene.
Tetiana Puchka, Head of Katerynivka community, reported that memorial plaques to ten defenders were unveiled in Katerynivka community of Kropyvnytskyi region. The plaques were placed on the schools where the soldiers studied in different years. These are the Hruzkivka gymnasium and Oleksiivka branch of the Nova Shkola lyceum.
Poltava oblast
According to Roman Istomin, Spokesman of Poltava Regional Centre for Humanitarian Aid and Cooperation, it has become known about two soldiers from Poltava oblast who returned from captivity during the exchange on Independence Day. These are Dmytro Sidko from the village of Chornukhy and Anton Fitsay from the village of Mashivka.
Three people who were injured in russian shelling on 26 August died in Poltava oblast. All of them were employees of an industrial facility in Mashivka community, which was hit by the russian army. Two people are in hospitals. The community declared three days of mourning.
Three soldiers from Poltava oblast were killed in the war with russia. Viktor Medianyk, Vitalii Kovalenko and Oleksandr Serdiuk served in Siversk military unit. They were killed on the territory of russia.
Cherkasy oblast
Ihor Taburets, Head of Cherkasy RMA, reported that six drones were shot down in Cherkasy oblast. There were no casualties or damage.

Zaporizhzhia oblast
Ivan Fedorov, Head of Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported that the russian army struck 14 towns and villages in Zaporizhzhia oblast 208 times on 26 August. They shelled the territory of Stepnohirsk, Orikhiv, Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriivka, Robotyne, Malynivka, Levadne and Verkhnia Tersa 69 times with artillery. As a result of the russian attack on Zaporizhzhia, 2 elderly women and a man were killed. Three people were injured.
According to National Police, the russian army attacked the civilian infrastructure of the oblast with seven drones (previously Shahed). Houses, an infrastructure facility, vehicles and garages were damaged.
Mykolaiv oblast
Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration reported that on 26 August, Mykolaiv and Pervomaisk regions came under russian shelling. The communities were shelled with artillery and attacked with FPV drones. The shelling damaged houses, outbuildings and a car in the oblast. Three people were injured. A 38-year-old man is currently in hospital, his condition is moderate.
Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration said that, on the night of 27 August, air defence forces destroyed three russian Shahed 131/136 UAVs in the oblast.
The HALO Trust humanitarian demining organisation employs 350 specialists in Mykolaiv oblast. Over a year and a half of work in the oblast, almost 13,000 explosive items have been found.
Odesa oblast
Ukrainian Navy said that on Tuesday, 27 August, russian army missile carriers remained present in the Black Sea. However, the russians have moved their ships to their basing points in the Azov and Mediterranean seas. It should not be forgotten that the enemy can strike even from military ports, so the threat level remains high.
Kherson oblast
Kherson RMA reported that at about 7am, russian troops attacked Novooleksandrivka in Kherson oblast with artillery and drones. A 69-year-old man and a 72-year-old woman were injured. They were taken to hospital in moderate condition.
According to the prosecutor’s office, in the morning, on 26 August, the russian army shelled Sadove in Kherson oblast. A 65-year-old man who was in his yard was killed.
Law enforcement officials opened a criminal investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war by the russian military.
The military attacked a civilian car with a drone in Dnipro district of Kherson. A 62-year-old man was injured. He has an explosive injury, multiple shrapnel injuries to his arm and leg. A 23-year-old girl was also injured.
The russian army attacked a vehicle of the village council in Poniativka, Kherson oblast, with a drone. A 60-year-old man sustained concussion and explosive trauma. He was taken to hospital.
Kherson Regional Military Administration said that the russian military shelled Zmiivka in Kherson oblast. A 65-year-old woman was injured. She has an open head injury/
Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of Kherson Regional Military Administration, reported that among the 115 soldiers returned from russian captivity, 20 are from Kherson oblast. Among them are those who had been in captivity for more than two years.

Volyn oblast
In the oblast, 99 Invincibility Centres were deployed by bodies of executive power and local self-government and 28 Invincibility Centres of the State Emergency Service. Also, 9 tents have been prepared, one of them is functioning at the site of the damage. If necessary, rescuers will be able to deploy 3 more mobile points.
Lutsk community sent a Mitsubisi L200 (purchased with the funds of city council employees), a Quertus AD COUNTER FPV BackPack, 2 REB Sinitsa 3.1, 2 Mavic 3, 5 Mavic 3 PRO, 8 Mavic 3T, 35 FPV drones, 5 EcoFlow, 2 Starlink and 10 remote pyrotechnic activator to the military.
Zakarpattia oblast
Remains of the downed X-101 missile were found in Zakarpattia forest. They found 23 holes of 12.27 calibre from a Browning M2 machine gun. The missile over the oblast was shot down by Zakarpattia 650th Separate Anti-Aircraft Machine Gun Battalion.
78 residents of Pokrovsk, included 22 children, arrived in the oblast by evacuation train. IDP were placed in places of temporary residence in Uzhhorod and Berehovo regions.
Ivano-Frankivsk oblast
Carpathian Andrii Danio, veteran of the 50th Regiment named after Colonel Semion Vysochan of the National Guard of Ukraine, joined the 3rd International race I Respect Soldiers, I Run for Heroes of Ukraine. The annual race, dedicated to the memory of those killed in the russian-Ukrainian war, took place in The Hague on the Independence Day of Ukraine.
Lviv oblast
During the last exchange of prisoners, Vitalii Tarasovych from Yavoriv region returned home. Served as a conscript since April 2021. Defended Azovstal. Relatives lost contact with Vitalii on 12 June 2022.
Representatives of Lviv RMA once again met with relatives of soldiers who are in captivity or have disappeared. The meeting was also attended by representatives of structures that work with families of soldiers.
3 defenders from Zolochiv region were awarded posthumously. Families of fallen soldiers from Krasnen community received awards. Senior Lieutenant Oleksandr Silivakin and Senior Soldier Pavlo Klym were awarded the III degree Order of Courage (posthumously). Ihor Huzhenka, soldier of the 420th Separate Rifle Battalion, was awarded the For Courage medal (posthumously).
Rivne oblast
At night, the Air Defense Forces shot down an enemy air target in the oblast. People were not injured. During the fall, the debris damaged the power line. Appropriate services are available on site.
The final stage of the implementation of the Community Police Officer project took place in Rivne oblast. Another 82 police officers joined the ranks. Thus, Rivne oblast became one of the 1st oblasts of Ukraine where the security space is completely “closed” by community police officers. Currently, 184 law enforcement officers are on duty on the territory of communities.
5 enterprises of Rivne oblast engaged in development in the field of armaments and registered on the Brave1 platform will receive compensation from the regional budget. It is about the total amount of UAH 1.6m within the framework of the regional program for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises. They will be able to use this money to increase their capacities and create new jobs.
Ternopil oblast
99% of schools in Ternopil oblast have shelters. Only 3 institutions do not have them. In Ladychynsk gymnasium, work on the construction of the shelter is planned to be completed by 1 October 2024 at the expense of the local budget. In Rizdviansk Gymnasium, an experimental project will be implemented to create a protected space in the building of the educational institution, and gabions will be installed. At Rashtivetskyi gymnasium, work on arranging a shelter at another business entity, near the school, is already being completed.
Khmelnytskyi oblast
At night, during air raids on the territory of Khmelnytskyi oblast, the Air Defense Forces shot down 8 enemy targets. All relevant services are working and debris fall sites are being established. At the same time, 2 private houses caught fire as a result of the attack. The man who lives in the house was injured. In addition, as of this morning, electricity supply has been fully restored in the population centres where it disappeared after yesterday’s massive attack. But due to the difficult situation in the power system, hourly outage schedules are used.
During the morning air alert within the oblast, the Air Defense Forces destroyed 4 more enemy targets. A 12-year-old child was injured as a result of the attack. He received a laceration on his right thigh and was immediately hospitalised.
The RMA reported that military exercises were conducted within Khmelnytskyi community.
Chernivtsi oblast
The RMA held a meeting with the delegation of the Embassy of Japan. They discussed the situation in the oblast regarding IDPs, electricity and mobilisation, as well as prospects for international cooperation in the field of business.
International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)
The 1st state Ukrainian-Hungarian Bilingual Secondary School and Gymnasium was registered in Budapest. Financing of the educational institution is carried out by means of the state budget of Hungary. To ensure the educational process, a separate building has already been prepared that meets all the requirements according to the current legislation of the country.
In the Hague, on the Independence Day of Ukraine, an annual race dedicated to the memory of those killed in the russian-Ukrainian war took place. The international race I Respect Soldiers, I Run for Heroes of Ukraine is a tradition of honouring servicemen who gave their lives for the freedom, independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
The Australia Post national postal operator of Australia, issued a stamp in support of Ukraine. The initiative to create this stamp belongs to the Embassy of Ukraine in Australia, which turned to the Australian side with a corresponding proposal. The design of the stamp was developed by Australia Post taking into account the recommendations of the Ukrainian side, specifically theUkrposhta JSC.
