The invaders continue assaulting the positions of Ukrainian defenders. Since the beginning of the day, 144 combat engagements have been recorded.
Border settlements continue to suffer from artillery shelling launched from the territory of the Russian Federation, including Kucherivka, Starykove, Bobylivka, Bila Bereza, Vovkivka, Bunyakyne, Kozache in Sumy region, as well as Klyusy, Halahanivka, Hrem’yachka in Chernihiv region.
Ukrainian defenders repelled two enemy attacks in the Northern-Slobozhanske and Kursk directions. The enemy also carried out four airstrikes, dropped nine guided aerial bombs, and conducted 96 shelling attacks, including one using a multiple-launch rocket system.
In the Southern-Slobozhanske direction, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders ten times near Vovchansk, Synelnykove, Dvorichanske, and towards Kolodiazne. Five combat engagements are ongoing.
In the Kupiansk direction, our defenders repelled four enemy attacks near Pishchane and Petropavlivka, with one more engagement currently ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, the invading army carried out 35 attacks near Hrekivka, Novovodyane, Novoyehorivka, Kopanky, Serednie, Ridkodub, Karpivka, Zarichne, and towards Lyman and Drobysheve. Defense Forces successfully halted 16 enemy attempts to advance; fighting continues in 19 locations.
In the Sloviansk direction, the enemy attempted six breakthroughs in the areas of Yampil, Serebrianka, Dronivka, Vyiimka, and Sacco and Vanzetti; two combat engagements remain ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, two engagements are ongoing near Chasiv Yar; the occupiers also attempted to advance toward Predtechyne.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, the enemy attacked 24 times today near Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillia, Rusyn Yar, and toward Kostiantynivka. Seven combat engagements are still ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have made 41 attempts to push Ukrainian defenders from their positions near Volodymyrivka, Fedorivka, Nykonorivka, Chervonyi Lyman, Rodynske, Novoeconomichne, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Yalta, and Dachne. Three engagements are ongoing.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked eight times near Ivanivka, Oleksiivka, Pryvilne, and Krasnohirskе.
In the Huliaypole direction, our defenders stopped six enemy attempts to advance near Zatyshshia, Solodke, Yablukove, Zelenyi Hai, and toward Huliaypole; three more engagements continue. Vozdvyzhivka and Huliaypole suffered airstrikes.
In the Orikhiv direction, Defense Forces successfully repelled an enemy attack near Prymorske.

Kharkiv oblast
Frontline
In the Southern-Slobozhanske direction, Russian forces launched 10 attacks on Ukrainian positions near Vovchansk, Synelnykove, Dvorichanske, and toward Kolodiazne. As of 16:00, five combat engagements are ongoing.
In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled four Russian attacks toward Pishchane and Petropavlivka. One engagement is ongoing.
In the past 24 hours, 156 combat engagements were recorded.
In the Southern-Slobozhanske direction, the enemy made three attempts to break through the defensive lines of our defenders near Vovchansk, Synelnykove, and Kam’yanka.
In the Kupiansk direction, four enemy attacks took place yesterday. Our defenders repelled assault actions in the areas of Petropavlivka, Kupiansk, and toward Novoplatonivka.
Shelling
During the past 24 hours, eight settlements in Kharkiv region came under enemy fire. No casualties were reported.
At night, the enemy launched missile strikes on the outskirts of Kharkiv.
Russia actively used various types of weapons against Kharkiv region:

The number of people killed by a Russian drone strike on a motor-cultivator near Novoplatonivka on November 13 has risen to four — on November 26, the Borova settlement council reported the death of 81-year-old Lidiia Chertova.
Other
In Kupiansk, 560 people remain; across the entire Kupiansk direction, there are about 3,000 residents. Around 1,000 people still live in the Borova community. Over the past day, 27 people were evacuated, including a family with a child.
The transit evacuation point in Lozova received 121 people in the past day. 35 people remain there now. Since the start of its operation, the point has registered 13,464 people.
Donetsk oblast
Frontline
russian forces have been attacking Ukrainian positions near Myrnohrad from dawn until dusk, using drones and artillery, according to Roman Pysarenko, head of the communications department of the 79th Separate Air Assault Brigade of the Tavria operational-strategic group.
Russian troops are attempting to break through Myrnohrad’s defenses from the direction of Pokrovsk — specifically near the settlements of Rivne and Svitlyi, and the southern part of the city has already become a “grey zone.” Settlements within the community are under daily attacks by FPV drones, artillery, and guided aerial bombs (KABs), reported Yurii Tretiak, head of the military administration.
In Pokrovsk, fighting is occurring not only on the outskirts but also inside the city, as well as on the approaches to Myrnohrad, said Serhii Okishev, officer of the communications department of the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces.
Pilots of the 3rd Army Corps destroyed Russia’s heavy flamethrower system TOS-1A “Solntsepyok” in the Lyman sector, according to the 63rd Brigade.
The Defense Forces repelled 52 Russian attacks in the Pokrovsk direction over the past day near the settlements of Shakhove, Zatyshok, Nove Shakhove, Dorozhnye, Vilne, Krasnyi Lyman, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Zvirkove, Udachne, Hryshyne, Molodetske, Muravka, and Filiia, the General Staff reported. In the Kostiantynivka direction, Russian troops carried out 20 attacks, while in the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian forces stopped 11 attempts by Russia to advance.
Shelling
On 26 November at 16:48, Russian forces shelled the city of Kramatorsk in Donetsk region. Window glazing in residential apartment buildings was damaged, reported Oleksandr Honcharenko, head of the Kramatorsk military administration. According to the administration, two strikes hit open terrain in one of the districts, and the third strike landed in a residential area.
On 26 November, Russian forces also shelled Sloviansk in Donetsk region using Geran-2 UAVs. Apartment blocks, private houses, and a shop were damaged. No casualties were reported, said Vadym Liakh, head of the military administration.
During the night of 26 November, Kramatorsk again came under Russian attack, Honcharenko reported. At 01:30, a “Molniya-2” strike UAV hit critical infrastructure. At 03:10, another Molniya-2 drone hit the territory of a gas station.
On 25 November, police recorded 2,129 enemy strikes along the frontline and on residential areas.
Seven settlements were under fire: the cities of Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk, Lyman, Mykolaivka, Sloviansk, and the village of Hannivka. A total of 52 civilian objects were damaged, including 36 residential homes.

russian forces dropped two “KAB-250” bombs on Sloviansk, injuring seven civilians. The strike damaged 15 apartment buildings, eight private houses, three educational institutions, two administrative buildings, as well as a trolleybus and four civilian vehicles.
In Kostiantynivka, the enemy attacked with drones, bombs, and artillery — two people were injured, two apartment buildings and two private houses were damaged.
Kramatorsk endured five attacks. Drone strikes damaged an apartment building, a private house, and a boiler plant.
In Mykolaivka, enemy drones damaged two private houses and a piece of infrastructure.
Druzhkivka was attacked by four UAVs — FPV drones and “Molniya-2.” Four private houses, an apartment building, and a civilian vehicle were damaged.
In Lyman, an FPV drone strike on fiber-optic lines damaged a civilian car.
Other
A “White Angel” police crew evacuated residents from frontline Lyman, though they were not able to take the people out immediately. Body-camera footage captured the rescue of residents from private homes and three civilians who walked out of the settlement of Zarichne, where fighting continues. Two women and a man walked roughly 12 kilometers under shelling and rain to escape occupation and reach the meeting point with police.
In two communities of Donetsk region where mandatory evacuation of families with children is underway, 457 minors remain. The largest number of children is in the Druzhkivka community, said acting head of the Children’s Services Department, Yuliia Ryzhakova.
Luhansk oblast
russian forces carried out 16 assault attempts on the Sloviansk and Lyman sectors of the frontline, trying to advance near nine settlements. Ukrainian defenders repelled all attacks, despite the enemy’s intensive use of artillery and UAVs.
Starting 1 December, in the so-called “LNR,” the disposal fee for foreign cars will increase significantly — for vehicles older than three years with an engine power over 160 hp, it will amount to about 1.2 million rubles, and will rise by 20% every year, which is intended to encourage the purchase of russian-made cars.
Two employees of the Sukhodilsk penal colony in the occupied Luhansk region have been notified of suspicion for cruel treatment and ordering torture, according to the SBU and the Prosecutor General’s Office. More than forty Ukrainian servicemen were tortured; hammers and electric shock devices were used. According to the investigation, the two Luhansk residents voluntarily sided with Russia after the occupation and held managerial positions from 2022 to 2025.
In Sievierodonetsk, residents queue for a doctor at night, violating curfew. Only 15 appointment tickets are issued per day, said the head of the Regional Administration, Kharchenko.
What is happening now in the north of Ukraine
Kyiv oblast
In Kyiv, on the evening of 25 November, emergency rescue operations were completed after russian night shelling. As a result of the combined strikes, seven people were killed and 21 injured, including one child. Emergency services rescued 18 people, including three children. Psychologists from the State Emergency Service provided assistance to 64 people. A total of 177 rescuers and 42 units of State Emergency Service equipment, including heavy engineering equipment, worked at various locations.

As a result of the russian drone attack on 25 November in Kyiv, the “From A to Z” printing house was damaged. According to company representatives, the drone struck the building at around 2 a.m. None of the employees were injured. Despite the damage, the team continues its work.
The Wildlife Rescue Center reported that after the massive russian shelling on 25 November, a roe deer in a Kyiv oblast’s shelter died — its heart could not withstand a night filled with explosions and fear. A few weeks earlier, the animal had undergone a complex surgery involving the amputation of a limb that had been crushed in a road accident in the Brovary district. During the previous russian attack, the roe deer survived only because it had not yet fully awakened from anesthesia after the operation.
Kyivteploenergo reported that on 25 November, mobile boiler units were deployed in six medical facilities in Kyiv while the consequences of the strikes were being eliminated. The units are fully autonomous and can operate for extended periods. Each has a heating capacity of 600 kW. In total, nine units were deployed.
Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klychko reported that the Kyiv community delivered another batch of aid to Ukrainian defenders on the hottest frontline sectors. Another 1,100 drones of various types, including 100 anti-Shahed drones, were sent to the soldiers of the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Black Zaporizhians. This year alone, Kyiv has already provided the brigade with 3,300 UAVs.
At the main building of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, a newly renovated shelter has been opened. With funding from the French charity foundation “Solidarity,” repairs were carried out, including dismantling and installing structural elements. The shelter, with an area of 258 m², can now accommodate 150 people. The foundation also plans to renovate three university dormitories that were damaged by enemy attacks.
In the Bucha community of Kyiv oblast, a Donor Day will be held on 28 November. Donated blood will be provided to help Ukrainian soldiers, the city council reported. Anyone aged 18 to 60 can take part. On 27 November, a Donor Day is also being organized in the Bilohorodka community.
Zhytomyr oblast
On 25 November in Zhytomyr, a coordination meeting was held with families of servicemen of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine who were taken prisoner or went missing in action while performing their duties. The meeting aimed to strengthen cooperation between the agency, authorized state bodies, and the families of defenders, as well as to coordinate further steps to provide necessary support.
In Zhytomyr region, the practice of mobile blood donations and corporate donor drives continues to ensure the supply of blood and its components to local hospitals and medical facilities, including those in frontline territories. There is currently an acute shortage of donors of all blood groups with a negative Rh factor, the Zhytomyr Regional Blood Center reported. During November 2025, mobile teams from the regional blood center visited communities in the region nine times.
Sumy oblast
On the morning of 26 November the General Staff reported that towards Northern Sloboda and Kursk, three combat engagements took place over the past day. Enemy forces carried out five airstrikes, using 16 guided aerial bombs, and launched 181 attacks, including three with multiple launch rocket systems.
The Northern Forestry Office informed that at around 10:30am on 26 November, in Shostka forestry district of the State Enterprise “Lisy Ukrainy”, a russian drone attacked a service vehicle belonging to a forester — the assistant forester of Znob-Novhorodske forestry. The man sustained a concussion and a rupture of the right eardrum. He was promptly taken to a hospital in Shostka.
According to the Regional Military Administration, on 25 November, a russian UAV struck Velyka Pysarivka community, injuring a 45-year-old woman. She was hospitalised and is receiving medical care.
Between the morning of 25 November and the morning of 26 November, russian forces carried out nearly 70 attacks on 34 settlements across 13 territorial communities of Sumy oblast. The highest number of strikes was recorded in Sumy and Shostka regions. The enemy used guided aerial bombs (up to 20 strikes), UAVs (up to 10 strikes), FPV drones and dropped VOG munitions from UAVs. Air raid alerts lasted a total of 15 hours and 50 minutes.
Civilian infrastructure was damaged or destroyed:
- in Sumy community, private houses and a non-residential building were damaged;
- in Korovynka community, a private house was damaged;
- in Popivka community, a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged;
- in Shalyhyne community, a private household was destroyed;
- in Znob-Novhorodske community, a residential building was damaged.
Over the past day, local authorities, together with units of the State Emergency Service, the National Police and civic organisations from border communities, evacuated nine people.
Chernihiv oblast
Oleksandr Seliverstov, Head of the Regional Military Administration, reported that on the evening of 25 November, russia used an FPV drone to attack Chaikyne village in Novhorod-Siverskyi territorial community. The strike ignited a fire in a private residential house.
The Regional National Police Department informed that a russian attack on a farm in a settlement in Chernihiv region killed around one thousand pigs. Buildings belonging to the enterprise were also destroyed.

According to the Northern Forestry Office, in the afternoon of 25 November, the russian military attacked the territory of Horodnia forestry unit in Chernihiv oblast by a UAV. The strike damaged enterprise equipment, including a fire engine used for extinguishing forest fires.
In Chernihiv oblast on 25 November, russian forces dropped an explosive device from a bomber drone just metres from a service vehicle belonging to the humanitarian mission “Proliska”. Inside the vehicle were the head of the organisation, Yevhen Kaplin, and a colleague. They had arrived to assist a social bus stuck in mud on the road from the border village of Moshchenka in Horodnia community.
Over the past day, russian forces used strike drones to attack enterprises in several regions of Chernihiv oblast, as well as residential buildings. According to Viacheslav Chaus, Head of the Regional Military Administration, on 25 November Snovsk again came under drone attack – an agricultural enterprise sustained damage to a grain elevator and grain storage bags. In Koriukivka community, FPV drones attacked several settlements, damaging an administrative building, a civilian car and trucks. Residential buildings in Nizhyn and Novhorod-Siverskyi regions were also damaged.
Chernihiv Border Guard Detachment reported that throughout 25 November, russian forces attacked four border communities in Chernihiv oblast: Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, Horodnia and Snovsk. The enemy carried out tube artillery strikes (2 explosions) and AGS grenade launcher attacks (19 explosions), launched “Molniia” UAVs (1 explosion), “Shahed” UAVs (3 explosions), FPV drones (25 explosions), and dropped explosive devices from UAVs (8 explosions). Semenivka, Snovsk and eight villages came under fire.
Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
Air defence units were active in the region, destroying five russian UAVs.
Nikopol region. Overnight and into the morning, the occupiers struck the regional centre, as well as Marhanets, Pokrovske, Myrove and Chervonohryhorivka communities by drones and artillery. Fires broke out. A garage and a fire engine were damaged.
Synelnykove region. russian forces attacked Vasylkivka, Petropavlivka and Slovianske communities by UAVs. Fires occurred; a private house, an administrative building, a bank, a post office and a car were damaged.
Nikopol region. The enemy continued shelling the regional centre and Marhanets, Pokrovske, Myrove and Chervonohryhorivka communities by drones and artillery. A multi-storey building, two private houses, an outbuilding, infrastructure, a lyceum, a car wash and four vehicles were damaged.
Synelnykove region. Mykolaivka and Malomykhailivka communities came under UAV attack. A car was damaged.
Kryvyi Rih region. The occupiers struck Zelenodolsk community by a drone, damaging a fence and gate of a household.
Kirovohrad oblast
The oblast paid tribune to servicemen Oleh Uzhva of Petrivska community in Oleksandriia region and Petro Pakholiuk of Kamianets community.
Oleh Uzhva was killed on 5 September 2022 during a combat mission near Pisky, Donetsk oblast.
Petro Pakholiuk was killed on 19 November 2025 in Hryhorivka, Kharkiv oblast.
Poltava oblast
A serviceman from Dykanka community, Vitalii Dmytrenko, was killed in action. He died on 20 November 2025 in Zaporizhzhia oblast, when a russian FPV drone hit his car near Dobropillia.
Cherkasy oblast
Five servicemen from Uman area were posthumously awarded the Order “For Courage” III class: Valerii Hryshchuk, Vasyl Lysenko, Yurii Yevchuk, Oleksandr Cherniakhivskyi, and Vitalii Halych. Their families received the awards.

Zaporizhzhia oblast
Today, 26 November, the russian army attacked Novoiakovlivka with drones. One person was injured in the strike.
In the evening of 25 November, the occupiers carried out a massive drone attack on the regional center. Nineteen people were injured, 31 apartment buildings and 20 private houses were damaged.
According to Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, yesterday, 25 November, the occupiers carried out 771 strikes on 21 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast. russian forces carried out 21 airstrikes on Novoiakovlivka, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Vozdvyzhivka, and Bilohiria. Four hundred seventy-eight UAVs of various types, mostly FPV, attacked Zaporizhzhia, Kushuhum, Balabyne, Yurkivka, Stepnohirsk, Stepove, Prymorske, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohiria, Zelenyi Hai, Yablukove, and Zatyshshia. Eight MLRS strikes were carried out on Barvinivka, Huliaipole, Zatyshshia, and Zelenyi Hai. Two hundred sixty-four artillery strikes were carried out on Stepnohirsk, Stepove, Prymorske, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohiria, Zelenyi Hai, Yablukove, and Zatyshshia. Seventy-eight reports were received about damage to homes, vehicles, and infrastructure.
As of 16:00 on 26 November, Ukrainian defenders stopped six enemy attempts to advance near the settlements of Zatyshshia, Solodke, Yablukove, Zelenyi Hai, and toward Huliaipole, with three more battles still ongoing. The Defense Forces successfully repelled an enemy attack near the settlement of Prymorske towards Orikhiv.
Two large families were evacuated from the frontline village of Yurkivka in Zaporizhzhia oblast. The State Emergency Service reported that among the evacuees are a mother with six children — a 13-year-old boy and girls aged 17, 15, 12, 9, and 8 — and a mother with three boys aged 15, 13, and 9. They were taken to a transit hub, where social services and volunteers met them.
Mykolaiv oblast
Yesterday, the enemy carried out ten FPV drone attacks on Ochakiv and Kutsurub communities. According to the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, one of the strikes damaged a private house in the village of Solonchaky. There were no casualties.
Odesa oblast
The press service of the “South” Air Command reported that during the night of 26 November, air defense forces in the south shot down or suppressed 19 Shahed, “Herbera,” and other types of drones. Twelve of these UAVs were destroyed in Odesa oblast.
Odesa held the “Red Light for Everyone” event for the first time, during which, at 9:00 a.m., red lights were simultaneously switched on for drivers and pedestrians so they would stop and honor the memory of fallen Ukrainian service members. According to Odesa City Council, every day at 9:00 a.m., traffic lights at eight intersections in Odesa — two in each district of the city — operate in the “red for everyone” mode.
Kherson oblast
Around 19:40, the occupiers dropped an explosive from a drone onto a car in Korabelnyi district of Kherson, killing a 34-year-old woman from Kherson and a 6-year-old child at the scene. A 50-year-old man was also injured.
At approximately 17:15, the russians attacked Korabelnyi district of Kherson with a drone. A 16-year-old girl and a 22-year-old woman sustained concussions as well as blast and closed head injuries.
At approximately 17:20, russian forces shelled Chornobaivka. It is currently known that four people were injured in the evening shelling of the village.
Around 16:20, the russians shelled Tsentralnyi district of Kherson. A 31-year-old woman received a concussion, blast injuries, and a closed head injury.
At 15:10, russian occupiers attacked Chornobaivka with a drone.A 75-year-old woman suffered a concussion, blast, and closed head injuries, and shrapnel wounds to her head, chest, arms, and legs.
At approximately 14:50, russians attacked a medic with a drone in Dniprovskyi district of Kherson. A 56-year-old man from Kherson sustained a blast injury and a shrapnel wound to his leg. His condition is of moderate severity.
Around 14:20, russian occupiers attacked Novovorontsovka with a drone. A 62-year-old woman suffered a blast injury and a shrapnel wound to her leg.
Around 11:10 russians attacked a house in Korabelnyi district of Kherson with a drone. A 63-year-old man suffered a concussion, blast injuries, and a closed head injury.
This morning, Novokairy of Mylove community were shelled by russian MLRS. Several residential houses in the village were damaged by the strikes, one of which sustained significant destruction. Windows, facades, and doors in homes were shattered.
A woman who was injured last night in the russian shelling of Dniprovskyi district of Kherson sought medical attention. The 55-year-old woman was diagnosed with a blast injury and a concussion.
Yesterday, 25 November, the russian forces attacked Antonivka, Komyshany, Sadove, Bilozerka, Dniprovske, Kizomys, Rozlyv, Stanislav, Oleksandrivka, Sofiiivka, Inhulivka, Mykilske, Poniativka, Posad-Pokrovske, Beryslav, Novovorontsovka, Osokorivka, Khreshchenivka, Mylove, Dudchany, Zolota Balka, Mykhailivka, Ukrainka, Novoraisk, Chervonyi Maiak, Novopavlivka, Burhunka, Vesele, and the city of Kherson. As a result of the attacks, four apartment buildings, 21 private houses, a cell tower, a volunteer headquarters building, outbuildings, a shop, gas pipelines, and a private car were damaged. Rivne oblast
56 veterans from Rivne oblast received grants this year within the framework of the state program eWork. Your Own Business. The amount of funds received is UAH 24.8m. This will allow the creation of 99 new jobs.
Ternopil oblast
A memorial service was held in Ternopil for those killed in a russian missile strike that killed 34 people. The clergy and residents of the city, relatives of the deceased and government officials prayed together.
Oleksii Kuleba, Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine – Minister of Community and Territorial Development, arrived in Ternopil oblast on a working visit. He held a joint headquarters with the heads of law enforcement agencies, the State Emergency Service and regional administration units.
Khmelnytskyi oblast
Khmelnytskyi City Council reported that 2 farms in the community that were affected by the russian attacks received financial assistance. The total amount of assistance is over UAH 3.3m.
Chernivtsi oblast
The reconstruction of two buildings for housing internally displaced persons is being completed in Viknianska community. This is the result of cooperation between Chernivtsi RMA, the EU Delegation to Ukraine, and the International Finance Corporation (IFC). Currently, the facilities are completing interior finishing works, installation of accessibility elements, technical works and landscaping.
