Since the beginning of the day, 112 combat engagements have been recorded.
Border settlements are suffering from artillery shelling from the territory of russia, including Zarichchia in the Chernihiv region.
Ukrainian defenders have already repelled five enemy attacks towards Northern Sloboda and Kursk, and two more attacks are ongoing. In addition, the enemy carried out one airstrike, dropping three guided aerial bombs, and conducted 72 shelling attacks.
Towards Southern Sloboda, the enemy conducted three attacks on the positions of Ukrainian defenders near Vovchansk, Ambarne and Dvorichanske.
Towards Kupiansk, Ukrainian defenders repelled four enemy attacks towards the settlements of Mala Shapkivka, Pishchane and Novoplatonivka; one more combat engagement is currently ongoing.
Towards Lyman, the occupying army conducted 12 attacks near Hrekivka, Karpivka, Serednie, Novoselivka, Shandryholove and towards Stavky. The Defense Forces successfully repelled eight enemy attempts to advance; fighting continues in four locations.
Towards Sloviansk, the enemy made ten attempts to advance in the areas of Yampil, Dronivka, Serebrianka, Vyiimka, Fedorivka and towards Zakitne; two combat engagements are currently ongoing.
Towards Kramatorsk, one combat engagement was recorded in the area of Chasiv Yar.
Towards Kostiantynivka, the occupier conducted 16 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Stepanivka, as well as in the areas of Pleshchiivka and Rusyn Yar. Three combat engagements are still ongoing.
Towards Pokrovsk, the occupiers have made 32 attempts to dislodge Ukrainian defenders from their positions in the areas of Shakhove, Nove Shakhove, Zatyshok, Chervonyi Lyman, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Novoekonomichne, Pishchane, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novomykolaivka, Dachne, as well as towards Hryshyne and Novopavlivka. Eleven combat engagements are ongoing.
Towards Oleksandrivka, the enemy conducted ten attacks near Yalta, Andriivka-Klevtsove, Verbove, Pryvilne, Rybne and Oleksiivka. Four combat engagements continue.
Towards Huliaipole, Ukrainian defenders repelled ten enemy attempts to advance near Zatyshshia, Solodke, Chervone, Dobropillia, Pryluky, Varvarivka and Hulyaipole. Four enemy attacks are still ongoing. The settlements of Ternuvate and Hulyaipole came under airstrikes.
Towards Orikhiv, the Defense Forces successfully repelled five enemy attacks near Novoandriivka, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske and Stepove. One more combat engagement continues.
Towards Kherson, no combat engagements have been recorded at this time.
Recent war events in the east of Ukraine
Kharkiv oblast
Frontline
Towards South Slobozhanske, the russians attacked Ukrainian military positions near Vovchansk, Ambarne, and Dvorichanske three times.
Towards Kupiansk, the russian army attacked four times in the direction of Mala Shapkivka, Pishchane, and Novoplatonivka. As of 4pm, one combat engagement is ongoing.
Over the past day, 213 combat engagements were recorded.
Towards South Slobozhanske, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders 12 times near Vovchansk, Synelnykove, Ambarne, Dvorichanske, and in the direction of Kolodiazne.
Six combat engagements took place yesterday towards Kupiansk. Our defenders stopped the enemy’s assault in the direction of the settlements of Pishchane and Petropavlivka.
Attacks
According to Head Nataliia Lytvyn, a mother and child in Motuzivka, Berestyn region, suffered acute stress reactions at around 6:15am and refused hospitalisation. She said there was one hit. Four houses were damaged and another destroyed.

The State Emergency Service reported that two people were injured in a fire in a private house caused by russian drone strikes in Staryi Saltiv. Rescuers extinguished a 30 sq m fire.
Over the past day, four settlements in Kharkiv oblast have been hit by enemy strikes.
A 74-year-old woman and an 84-year-old man were injured as a result of shelling in Staryi Saltiv.
A 22-year-old woman who was injured in Kharkiv on 23 November and a 63-year-old man who was injured in the village of Kurylivka on 24 November also sought medical assistance.
The enemy actively used various types of weapons in Kharkiv oblast:

▪️3 FPV drones;
▪️1 UAV (type to be determined).
Civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged and destroyed:
▪️a car was damaged in Bohodukhiv region (Zolochiv village);
▪️two private houses were damaged in Chuhuiv region (Staryi Saltiv village).
Other
The transit evacuation point in Lozova accommodated 83 people in 24 hours. Twenty-two people remained. A total of 13,547 people have been registered at the point since it began operating.
Over 196 hectares of territory in Kharkiv oblast were demined during the week. 1,333 explosive devices were destroyed.
Residents of the oblast purchased 4,386 apartments and houses under the yeVidnovlennia state programme. The cost of the purchased housing exceeded UAH 9bn.
A Tanzanian citizen who worked as an English teacher at one of the schools, a woman whose yard was hit by a KAB, and a married couple were recently evacuated from Kupiansk region by police officers from the White Angel special unit. According to Kharkiv police press service, the evacuation of children from Velykyi Burluk community is continuing — in recent days, families with nine minors have been taken from there.

Donetsk oblast
Frontline
According to the 7th Corps of the Airborne Forces, fighting in Pokrovsk continues along the entire railway line. Defence forces are conducting operations south of the railway, while russian troops are attempting to infiltrate the northern part of the city. Over the past day, Ukrainian troops have eliminated 21 russian occupiers in Pokrovsk.
Rostyslav Yashchyshyn, Head of the communications department of the 63rd Mechanised Brigade, reported taht after unsuccessful attempts to advance to Lyman in Donetsk oblast from the eastern flank of the defence in the area of the villages of Torske and Zarichne, russian troops are trying to press from the north and south towards the city.
The occupiers are avoiding head-on clashes with the Defence Forces and are trying to bypass the positions of the Ukrainian military. Intense fighting towards Lyman has continued since May 2025.
In the morning report of the General Staff stated that the direction of Lyman, the russian army carried out 44 assaults during the day near Hrekivka, Novovodiane, Novoiehorivka, Novoselivka, Kopanky, Kolodiazi, Serednie, Ridkodub, Karpivka, Zarichne, and towards the settlements of Lyman and Drobysheve. This is the largest number of battles in this area in 2025. More than 40 attacks by the occupiers were recorded on 3 September alone, when russian troops carried out 41 assaults.
Towards Pokrovsk, 56 attacks by the russian army were recorded, with more than 30 near Kostiantynivka.
Attacks
According to CMA head Horbunov, in Kostiantynivka, russian troops attacked a civilian man with an FPV drone. He was wounded near his home.
Liakh, Head of the RMA, reported that two men were injured in the morning russian shelling of Sloviansk. Russian troops attacked the city with two Geran-2 drones. The State Emergency Service said that nine private houses were damaged. Rescuers extinguished a fire in a passenger car.
On 26 November, the police recorded 1,756 enemy strikes on the front line and residential areas.
9 settlements were under attack: Bilozerske, Dobropillia, Druzhkivka, Kramatorsk, Mykolaivka, Pokrovsk, Sloviansk, Iverske and Torske.
Twenty-four civilian objects were destroyed, including 18 residential buildings.
The russians launched five strikes on Druzhkivka, including three KAB-250 bombs, killing one person and damaging two apartment buildings, two private houses, and an educational institution.
Kramatorsk also endured five attacks: three bombings and two drone strikes. Three civilians were injured, and five apartment buildings, a petrol station, and an infrastructure facility were damaged.
An FPV drone strike injured a civilian in Torske, Druzhkivka community, and damaged a private house.
One person was injured by a Lancet UAV strike in Iverske, Oleksandrivka community.
Russian troops struck Sloviansk with three Geran-2 UAVs, damaging two apartment buildings, six private houses, and a shop. An infrastructure facility was damaged in Mykolaivka.
The enemy directed four Geran-2 UAVs at Dobropillia, damaging an enterprise and a service station. In Bilozerske, an educational institution was destroyed as a result of an attack by two Geran-2 UAVs.
Other
Residents of Donetsk oblast travel to the nearest railway station in Barvinkove by bus from Sloviansk and Kramatorsk. In early November, at the request of the RMA, Ukrzaliznytsia suspended passenger transport in the region due to constant russian shelling: suburban routes were cancelled, and intercity routes were reduced to the border with Kharkiv oblast.
Police officers evacuate people from Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka and Druzhkivka. The White Angel police crew of the Bakhmut evacuated a couple with a disabled elderly relative from the frontline town. The woman was carried down from the fourth floor.
Luhansk oblast
Towards Lyman, russian troops carried out 43 assault attempts along almost the entire line of combat contact, in particular near Hrekivka, Novovodiane, and Novoiehorivka. In Sloviansk, the enemy attacked seven times in the areas of five settlements, actively using artillery and FPV drones.
The “lpr” has raised rental rates several times for Lugmedfarm, the only “state-owned” enterprise that provides the population with subsidised medicines. The enterprise is preparing for significant losses in 2026, and access to subsidised medicines, as before, is only possible with a russian passport.
The occupiers plan to open a branch of the russian educational centre Mashuk in Luhansk oblast. In 2023, such centres became the basis for the mass training of instructors in military-patriotic education of children and young people.
What is happening now in the north of Ukraine
Kyiv oblast
The UN reported that in Kyiv, the number of victims of russian strikes has increased almost fourfold in the first 10 months of this year compared to 2024. From January to October 2024, enemy long-range drones and missiles killed 434 and injured 2,045 civilians. During the same period in 2025, the number of civilians killed by long-range weapons increased by 26% to 548, and the number of civilians wounded increased by 75% to 3,592.
The State Specialised Enterprise ‘Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant’ reported that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) mission had begun work at the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant at Ukraine’s request. Experts will conduct a comprehensive safety assessment following the russian Federation’s attack on the station on 14 February 2025. At that time, a strike by a UAV with a high-explosive warhead damaged the outer and inner shells of the New Safe Confinement arch, as well as a number of internal structures, components and systems. It took 10 days to extinguish a fire that broke out.
Kyivteploenergo reported that heat supply has been restored to all buildings in Kyiv left without service due to russian shelling on 25 November. Currently, residential building managers are adjusting internal heating systems to supply heat directly to apartments. They also restored the permanent heating system for six hospitals, which were temporarily heated by mobile boiler rooms.
The State Agency for the Restoration and Development of Infrastructure of Ukraine reported that a modular underground shelter was installed in Borodianka, located in the centre of the village and designed for 48 people. The shelter was built underground and has two exits – a main one and an emergency one. It has several main and additional rooms, seating areas, heating, water supply and drainage systems, ventilation and fire alarms.
Zhytomyr oblast
In Zhytomyr oblast, active restoration of the housing stock continues thanks to the state programme ‘eRestoration’. As of today, residents have submitted 1,674 applications for compensation for the restoration of housing with minor damage – 1,273 decisions have been approved by the commissions. Another 272 applications concern destroyed houses and flats – 194 housing certificates have been issued and decisions have been made to pay 14 cash compensations for the construction of housing on private land plots.
Sumy oblast
The Regional Police reported that at night on 27 November, a 53-year-old man was killed in Krolevets as a result of a russian drone attack. A private household in the community was damaged.
Between the morning of 26 November and the morning of 27 November, russian forces carried out nearly 40 strikes on 21 settlements across nine territorial communities of the oblast. The highest number of attacks was recorded in Sumy and Shostka regions. The enemy used guided aerial bombs (up to 10 strikes), UAVs (over 10 strikes), and also conducted FPV-drone attacks. During the day, the air-raid alert in the oblast lasted 19 hours 18 minutes.
Civilian infrastructure was damaged or destroyed:
- in Sumy community, a private household and a civilian infrastructure facility were damaged;
- in Verkhnia Syrovatka community, a private household and non-residential premises were damaged;
- in Krolevets community, a private household was damaged;
- in Znob-Novhorodskyi community, a service vehicle and a private house were damaged;
- in Shalyhyne community, a private household was destroyed and a car burned;
- in Esman community, a residential house was destroyed and outbuildings damaged.
Sumy has launched the “Primary Care Bag” project for wounded servicemen. The initiative, jointly implemented by the Health Care Department of Sumy Regional Military Administration and the NGO “Platform of Public Support”, aims to assist defenders undergoing treatment in medical facilities after being wounded.
Chernihiv oblast
Oleksandr Kodola, Nizhyn Mayor, reported that around 2am. on 27 November, russian forces attacked Nizhyn community by a drone, damaging a critical infrastructure facility.
Chernihiv Border Guard Detachment informed that throughout 26 November, russian forces attacked four border communities of Chernihiv oblast: Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, Horodnia and Snovsk. The enemy used mortars (2 explosions), Molniia-type UAVs (1 explosion), FPV drones (12 explosions), and dropped explosive devices from UAVs (4 explosions). Semenivka town and eight villages came under fire.
According to the Regional Police, since the beginning of November 2025, police explosive ordnance specialists in Chernihiv oblast have responded 78 times to reports related to the detection of russian strike drones. In 66 cases, the warheads did not detonate. Such UAVs are destroyed by the Police Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit through controlled detonations carried out with all necessary precautions.
Over the past two years, 65 children and seven teachers from Chernihiv oblast have attended music camps in Latvia. The participants included young musicians from art schools in Chernihiv, Pryluky, Mena, Snovsk, Koriukivka, Kulykivka, Nizhyn and Ladan. The children took part in music and sports events and visited Riga and Jūrmala.
Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
Mykola Lukashuk, Head of Dnipropetrovsk RMA, reported that in Synelnykove region russian forces struck Mykolaivka and Dubovyk communities by UAVs. A 71-year-old man and a 67-year-old woman were injured. Fires broke out, a private house was destroyed and a shop, kindergarten, house extension, summer kitchen, infrastructure, a garage and 3 cars were damaged. In Nikopol region, late in the evening and in the morning, the enemy shelled Nikopol by artillery. Updated information confirms that a 50-year-old man was injured in yesterday’s drone strike on Marhanets.
A total of 44 attacks were recorded during the day across 3 regions of the oblast. Synelnykove region: russian aircraft dropped a KAB on Pokrovske community, damaging a private house and a vehicle. Nikopol region: russian forces continued attacking the regional centre, Myrove, Pokrovske, Marhanets and Chervonohryhorivka communities by drones and artillery. A fire broke out; an apartment building, a private house, a dormitory, 2 shops, several businesses, 9 cars, a minibus and a canopy were damaged. Kryvyi Rih region: a drone strike targeted Hrusheve community, damaging a petrol station.
Poltava oblast
The deaths of 2 servicemen who were defending Ukraine in different frontline regions have been confirmed. Oleksii Kanibolotskyi had been listed as missing for almost a year. Information regarding the death of Mykola Kulibaba became available after a week of searches following a russian drone attack.
Cherkasy oblast
Servicemembers of the 118th Separate Territorial Defence Brigade received state and departmental awards. Among the honours presented were the For Courage (III Class) distinction, awarded for resilience, bravery and dedicated performance of combat tasks.
Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine
Zaporizhzhia oblast
According to the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, russian troops executed 5 Ukrainian prisoners of war in Huliaipole region. The incident occurred on the morning of 27 November. Criminal proceedings were initiated under Article 438(2) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war combined with intentional killing).
Referring to the State Emergency Service, yesterday, 2 fires broke out in Zaporizhzhia oblast due to russian shelling. In Novomykolaivka, debris from a downed attack UAV ignited on a 2sq.m area; in Nove Pole, a residential building and an outbuilding burned over 30sq.m.
Based on the information provided by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Defence Forces in Hulyaipole region repelled 22 russian attacks near Zatyshshia, Solodke, Yablukove, Zelenyi Hai and Huliaipole. In Orikhiv region, russian troops conducted 2 assaults near Prymorske.
Ivan Fedorov, Head of Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported that on 26 November, russian forces carried out 590 strikes on 22 towns and villages across the oblast. Of these, 331 UAVs targeted Novomykolaivka, Chervonodniprovka, Novoiakovlivka, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Shcherbaky, Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohiria, Zatyshshia, Vysoke, Solodke and Dobropillia.
Mykolaiv oblast
Relying on the information provided by Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, on 26 November, russian forces conducted 13 FPV-drone attacks on Ochakiv, Kutsurub and Halytsynove communities.
2 artillery strikes targeted Kutsurub community. In Dmytrivka village, a private house and a power line were damaged. In Lymany village, 2 private houses, a hangar and a car were damaged. There were no casualties reported.
Odesa oblast
According to the RMA, during the overnight UAV attack, the facades and windows of 2 residential buildings, an equestrian club and a petrol station building were damaged. Several fires broke out but were promptly contained by emergency services. There were no casualties reported.
The Air Command South reported that during the night of 27 November, air defence units in southern Ukraine shot down or suppressed 15 attack UAVs of the Shahed, Herbera and other types, including 13 over Odesa oblast.
Kherson oblast
Referring to Kherson RMA, a russian strike on Dniprovskyi district of Kherson injured an 18-year-old man. He sustained a concussion, shrapnel wounds to the leg and explosive and closed head injuries.
Also, in the same district, a 65-year-old woman was injured as a result of russian strike, sustaining a concussion and explosive and closed head injuries; she received medical assistance on-site.
Around noon, a russian UAV attacked a private house, shattering windows and damaging the facade and roof. There were no casualties reported.
The CMA reported that a russian UAV struck an educational institution in Zelenivka Starosta Region. More than 10 windows and doors were damaged. There were no casualties reported.
The RMA informed that at approximately 3pm, russian forces attacked a 70-year-old man by a UAV in Dniprovskyi district of Kherson. He sustained an explosive injury and shrapnel wounds to the legs.
The CMA said that at 12:45pm, russian troops shelled Tsentralnyi district of Kherson. An 89-year-old woman was severely injured, sustaining an explosive and closed head injury, a lower leg amputation and multiple shrapnel wounds.
The russian forces dropped explosives from a UAV onto a house in Komyshany near Kherson in the morning. A 69-year-old woman suffered a concussion and blast injury.
The russian troops attacked critical infrastructure in Kherson oblast earlier today, leaving Komyshany and Pryozerne partially without power. Repair teams are working on site.
According to the RMA, a civilian car was struck by a russian UAV in Blahovishchenske village. A 72-year-old man was injured, sustaining shrapnel wounds to the legs, a traumatic foot amputation and an explosive injury.
Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of Kherson RMA, reported that during the night, air defence units shot down 2 Shahed-131/136 drones over the oblast.
On 26 November, russian attacks killed two people, including a child, and injured 13 civilians, including a child. Damage was recorded to a gas pipeline, a mobile tower, 3 high-rise buildings, 26 private homes, a church, a bus and several cars. The russian forces attacked 31 settlements.
Yaroslav Shanko, Head of Kherson CMA, informed that in Korabelnyi district of Kherson, yesterday evening’s russian shelling damaged high-rise buildings. A gas pipeline was hit and caused a fire, which was later extinguished.
The RMA reported that in Bilozirka, a 61-year-old man wounded in yesterday’s drone strike was hospitalised today with an explosive injury, a foot fracture and chest contusion.
Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the RMA, stated that in Chornobaivka, following yesterday’s massive MLRS attack, private and multi-storey buildings and a church were damaged. 4 residents were injured and a 76-year-old woman was hospitalised.

Volyn oblast
Kolkiv Village Council reported that Pavlo Falchuk was solemnly awarded with the For Wounding Order of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine.
Zakarpattia oblast
The oblast is hosting the Ukrainian-Czech Business Forum for the 1st time. Rostyslav Pritsak, Deputy Chairman of the RMA, took part in the opening of the event. This event is an important platform for strengthening economic relations and establishing new contacts between companies from both countries, in particular in the fields of logistics, energy, construction and investment.
Ivano-Frankivsk oblast
Ivano-Frankivsk community sent 184 video transmitters and 184 receivers and antennas to the 102nd Brigade thanks to the Participatory Budget program.
Lviv oblast
The RMA held a meeting with a delegation from the Silesian Voivodeship (Poland), led by Vice-Marshal Leszek Pietraszek. The Carpathian Integration Initiative was discussed.
A meeting with families of captured and missing servicemen from Halych and Frankivsk regions took place in Lviv. Over 70 families of servicemen who are captured or missing took part in the meeting. In the dialogue format, families had the opportunity to ask specific questions regarding search procedures, information updates, international cooperation, and legal support.
High school students in Lviv oblast were presented with a documentary about the combat path and daily work of soldiers of the 103rd Territorial Defense Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The film contains real footage from the front line, shows key operations and the reality of front-line fighting.
Rivne oblast
Medical workers in Rivne oblast were trained on how to communicate with people who have experienced sexual violence. This was the second such training in the Integration Space. The training was organized by the team of the Main Directorate of the National Social Service in Rivne oblast.
Ternopil oblast
12-year-old Adriana Unolt died in hospital, who fought for her life for 9 days after a russian missile strike. She became the 35th victim of the russian strike on Ternopil. Her mother was killed during the attack, and her younger sister is still in the hospital. Medics tried for a long time to save Adriana, but the injuries she received turned out to be incompatible with life.
Khmelnytskyi oblast
The RMA held a meeting with representatives of the veteran community, volunteer and veteran organizations. The conversation focused on practical issues of supporting veterans and their family members.
Chernivtsi oblast
The Air Defense neutralized a russian drone that was spotted over Chernivtsi oblast this morning. The enemy object fell outside populated areas. There were no casualties, injuries or damage.
International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)
Ukraine and the IMF have reached a preliminary agreement on a new $8.2bn support program for 4 years. The agreement still needs to be approved by the IMF’s Board of Executive Directors.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, had a phone conversation with Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission. They discussed the current diplomatic situation and the European Union’s work on a decision on the use of frozen russian assets to protect Ukraine.
