Since the beginning of the day, the aggressor has launched 47 attacks on the positions of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
Artillery shelling of border areas continues. Today, the settlements of Sopych, Ryzhivka, Bachivsk, Neskuchne, Ulanove, Yastrubshchyna, Budky, Buniakyne, Atynske, and Neskuchne in Sumy Oblast, as well as Kliusy and Lohy in Chernihiv Oblast, came under fire.
In the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, three combat engagements took place. The enemy carried out one airstrike, dropping four guided aerial bombs, and conducted 35 attacks against populated areas and Ukrainian military positions, including one strike using multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS).
In the South-Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy launched four assaults on Ukrainian positions near the settlements of Starytsia, Vilcha, and Kolodiazne. Three engagements are still ongoing.
No enemy offensive actions have been recorded so far in the Kupiansk, Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, Oleksandrivka, and Prydniprovske directions.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy initiated four engagements toward Lyman and Dibrova.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled nine attacks near Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Rusyn Yar, and toward the settlements of Mykolaipillia and Kucheriv Yar.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, Russian occupation forces have attempted 13 times to dislodge Ukrainian troops from their positions near Novooleksandrivka, Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, and Udachne. Two engagements are ongoing.
In the Huliaipole direction, the Defense Forces successfully repelled 12 enemy attacks near Dobropillia, Zlahoda, Huliaipole, and toward Nove Zaporizhzhia, Tsvitkove, and Charivne.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attempted once to advance toward Shcherbaky but was repelled.
No significant changes in the operational situation have been observed in other sectors. No enemy attempts to advance have been recorded.
Ukrainian forces continue to wear down the enemy along the entire frontline and deep behind enemy lines.
Due to Russian shelling, Ukraine loses between 70 and 100 civilians every week. They are killed in attacks involving drones, ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and aerial bombs. This was reported by Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko.
Dnipro was deliberately targeted by a Russian Iskander missile strike. As a result of the attack, a significant quantity of food supplies intended to support people living near the frontline was destroyed. At the time of the strike, the facility contained humanitarian aid sufficient to support approximately 130,000 people. The estimated value of the destroyed supplies was $1.4 million.

Kharkiv oblast
As of 16:00, in the South-Slobozhanskyi direction, Russian forces launched four attacks on Ukrainian positions near Starytsia, Vilcha, and Kolodiazne, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Three combat engagements were still ongoing. No Russian offensive actions were recorded in the Kupiansk direction.
In the Vovchansk direction, soldiers of the “Khyzhak” Brigade destroyed two North Korean-made Type-75 multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS), according to the Joint Forces Grouping.
In Klynova-Novoselivka, Zolochiv community, around 14:30, ten strikes by “Molniya” UAVs and FPV drones were recorded, according to community head Viktor Kovalenko. Four private houses were destroyed in the village, while two additional houses and several outbuildings were damaged.
In Velykyi Burluk, a residential house caught fire following a Russian UAV strike, according to the Kharkiv Regional Directorate of the State Emergency Service. The fire spread across 150 square meters and also engulfed an outbuilding. A vehicle was damaged as a result of the attack.

During the past 24 hours, 267 combat engagements were recorded along the front line, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In the South-Slobozhanskyi direction, Russian forces launched 11 assaults on Defense Forces positions near Lyman, Hraniv, Starytsia, Hrafske, Radkivka, Okhrimivka, and Kolodiazne. In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled seven attacks near Kupiansk, Kivsharivka, Novoosynove, Podoly, and Borivska Andriivka.
Over the past day, Kharkiv and 14 settlements across the region came under enemy attack, according to the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration. Three people were killed and 33 others injured. In Derhachi, two people were killed, while 20 men and four women were injured. In Bilyi Kolodiaz, part of the Vovchansk community, a 63-year-old man was killed. Residents of Zolochiv, Nova Kozacha, Kluhyno-Bashkyrivka, and Andriivka were also wounded.
Russian forces attacked the Novobavarskyi and Nemyshlianskyi districts of Kharkiv with UAVs. During the day, the Russian military used an Iskander missile, two guided aerial bombs (KABs), five Geran-2 UAVs, six Molniya UAVs, nine FPV drones, and 15 drones of unidentified type against targets in Kharkiv Oblast.
Russian troops struck Derhachi with an Iskander missile yesterday, according to Valeriia Chyrina, spokesperson for the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office. The missile hit an industrial enterprise, while two additional businesses sustained damage. Two men were killed, and more than 20 people suffered injuries or acute stress reactions.
Residential buildings, power lines, a gas station, outbuildings, vehicles, warehouse facilities of agricultural enterprises, tractors, a trailer, civilian businesses, an apartment building, and an educational institution were damaged in the Bohodukhiv, Kupiansk, Izium, Kharkiv, and Chuhuiv districts.
The transit evacuation center in Lozova received 211 people over the past 24 hours. Since the facility began operating, 36,099 evacuees have been registered there.
Kharkiv Oblast and the Municipality of Pescara in Italy’s Abruzzo Region officially formalized their intentions for cooperation during the 4th International Summit of Cities and Regions, “Partnership. Resilience. Readiness.” The region also continues expanding its network of underground schools: 23 safe educational spaces are currently operating, while 13 more are under development.
In Kharkiv, trolleybus route No. 54 has resumed service after being suspended since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion. Donetsk oblast
In the Lyman direction, Russian forces launched 17 assaults on Defense Forces positions near Novoselivka, Novomykhailivka, Dibrova, Drobysheve, Stavky, Yampil, Novovodiane, and Ozerne, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled 47 attacks, while 14 additional assaults were stopped in the Kostiantynivka direction.
Ukrainian drones have blocked the R-280 Mariupol–Melitopol–Simferopol highway, which Russian forces use for military logistics, according to the 412th Nemesis Brigade. Priority targets include military equipment and Russian supply lines in the so-called “deep rear.”
On the Pokrovsk front, a significant share of Russian assault troops are reportedly over 60 years old and struggle even with basic movement across terrain, said spokesperson for the “Rubizh” Brigade, Danylo Borysenko.
On the Sloviansk sector, Russian infantry continues attempts to infiltrate Ukrainian positions, said Volodymyr Holyahin, spokesperson for the 81st Brigade. According to him, Russian forces are trying to advance toward Mykolaivka, attempting to outflank Zakytne.
In Donetsk Oblast, consumers were left without electricity in the morning due to Russian attacks on energy infrastructure, according to Ukrenergo.
Overnight, Russian forces struck Druzhkivka, Sloviansk, Bilenke, and Ocheretyne. Private homes and civilian vehicles were damaged, and information on casualties is being clarified. In Sloviansk, the occupiers attacked a fire and rescue unit, hitting an outbuilding on the premises, according to the State Emergency Service in Donetsk region. According to city military administration head Vadym Lyakh, Sloviansk and Bilbasivka were also attacked overnight and in the morning with “Geran-2” drones, damaging infrastructure facilities.
On May 25, police recorded 853 attacks by Russian forces on the frontline and civilian areas of Donetsk region. Ten settlements came under fire: Druzhkivka, Kramatorsk, Mykolaivka, Sloviansk, Bilenke, Oleksiyevo-Druzhkivka, Yasnohirka, Vysokopillia, Mykhailivka, and Ocheretyne. A total of 99 civilian objects were damaged, including 47 residential buildings.
In Yasnohirka (Kramatorsk community), Russian forces dropped a KAB-250 guided aerial bomb. Two people were killed and three others injured. Seven private houses and an outpatient clinic were damaged.
Kramatorsk itself was hit 15 times, including nine guided bomb strikes. 16 civilians were injured, including a child. Thirty apartment buildings and three private houses were damaged, along with two educational institutions, two administrative buildings, an express delivery facility, a non-residential building, and more than 20 vehicles. Due to damage to gas networks and civilian infrastructure, nearly 400 subscribers were left without gas supply.

As a result of the evening shelling of Kramatorsk, rescue services extinguished two fire outbreaks: vehicles and apartments in a multi-storey residential building were burning, according to the State Emergency Service. In one of the apartments, residents were unable to evacuate independently due to a deformed door.
In Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka and Mykolaivka, one person was injured in each settlement, and three apartment buildings were damaged.
In Druzhkivka, drone strikes damaged two apartment buildings and one private house. In Sloviansk, civilian infrastructure was hit, while in Ocheretyne, an educational institution was damaged.
Bilenke was struck by a KAB-250 guided aerial bomb. A private house and an infrastructure facility were damaged.

Evacuation from Druzhkivka is ongoing. Ihor’s family left the city with the help of volunteers, tying white cloths to their vehicle so as not to be targeted by drones. For the family, this is already their second relocation: in their native Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka, they lost their home.
According to local authorities, approximately 5,900 people remain in Druzhkivka.
Luhansk oblast
Over the course of the week, fighters of the Border Guard Brigade “Pomsta” eliminated 185 Russian soldiers, while another 196 Russian troops were wounded. In total, 226 fire strikes were carried out against Russian deployment sites. Destroyed and damaged equipment includes MLRS systems, two armored vehicles, 24 artillery guns, a mortar system, and 144 units of transport.
Seven ammunition depots, one fuel and lubricants storage facility, a pontoon crossing, 63 communication, electronic reconnaissance (RER), and electronic warfare (EW) systems, seven command posts, 298 UAVs, and two ground robotic systems were also hit.
In Luhansk region over the past day, Russian forces used various types of weapons, according to Luhansk Regional Military Administration head Oleksii Kharchenko. The occupiers used MLRS and tube artillery three times, automatic grenade launchers and UAVs three times, and mortars eight times.
In the Lyman direction, Russian forces attacked 17 times near eight settlements and attempted to advance from the direction of Novovodiane.
In occupied Sievierodonetsk, Russian authorities have created an artificial shortage of nearly all administrative services. There is a lack of staff, reception hours are limited, and there is no electronic registration system, resulting in queues booked months in advance. Passport application services are available only once a week. At the same time, paid “home service” has been introduced: for a fee, documents can be processed without waiting in line, and passports may later be delivered directly to homes.
In settlements of the Lutuhyne community, including Bilorichenske, water is supplied for only two hours per day. This situation has persisted for months; however, locals say it is still not the worst case scenario for the so-called “LPR,” as many towns and villages experience even longer water outages.
What is happening now in the north of Ukraine
Kyiv oblast
The National Police have reported that the death toll from the russian attack on Kyiv on 24 May has risen to three. During rescue operations, they found body parts that are believed to belong to a resident of a partially destroyed building in the Shevchenkivskyi district. The woman is currently listed as missing. A DNA test will be carried out for a final identification.
Nazar Bench, the owner of the business centre, announced that the LUWR business centre in Lukyanivka, damaged by the russian attack, is to be partially dismantled. Several floors have suffered significant damage. After the damaged elements have been dismantled, the building will be reinforced and its load-bearing structures restored. Work is scheduled to begin after the rocket debris removal, and the completion of the inspection.
According to the Office of the President, in Kyiv, the 4th International Summit of Cities and Regions ‘Partnership. Resilience. Readiness’ brought together 24 countries. Representatives from all of Ukraine’s European neighbours took part: Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Moldova, Romania and Belarus.
Mykola Kalashnyk, head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, reported that on 25 May, Kyiv oblast welcomed representatives of international delegations. According to him, Poles, French, Finns, Latvians, Norwegians, Portuguese, Slovaks, British, Estonians, Swedes, Czechs, Italians, Dutch, Austrians, Germans and representatives of democratic Belarus arrived in the region to see the consequences of russian aggression with their own eyes, hear the truth about russia’s crimes and see how Ukrainians are rebuilding their communities after the most devastating destruction. The guests also visited the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone, the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant and Pripyat.
Twenty-five Kyiv families raising children with disabilities received charging stations to ensure the energy resilience of their homes ahead of the coming winter. The aid was made possible thanks to the support of the twin city of Tallinn, which transferred over 1 million UAH to the Kyiv City Centre for the Rehabilitation of Children with Disabilities. According to the Kyiv City State Administration, the funds were used to purchase charging stations for families in the Dniprovskyi and Darnytskyi districts, which were hardest hit by the consequences of russian attacks last winter.
Zhytomyr oblast
Vitaliy Bunechko, head of the Regional Military Administration, reported that on the night of 26 May, transport infrastructure and industrial facilities in Zhytomyr oblast came under enemy fire. A 56-year-old man was injured as a result of the enemy attack. He has been admitted to hospital. Firefighting efforts at the impact sites were made difficult by the danger of further strikes. State Emergency Service rescuers professionally contained and extinguished the fire. Work to clear up the aftermath of the shelling is ongoing.
Korosten Mayor Volodymyr Moskalenko reported that in Korosten, infrastructure facilities were damaged and one person was injured as a result of a strike by a russian UAV.
Sumy oblast
The State Border Guard Service reported on the evening of 25 May that border guards of Steel Border Brigade intercepted and destroyed 12 russian UAVs over Sumy oblast. As a result of combat operations, 3 Supercam reconnaissance UAVs, 7 ZALA drones and 2 Molniya attack drones were eliminated.
14th Army Corps reported that information from russian resources about the alleged capture of Riasne is untrue. According to Ukrainian servicemen, this is an information and psychological operation by russia. Ukrainian fighters are holding defence at designated lines, taking measures to contain russian forces and inflicting significant personnel losses on them, the statement said.
Yevhen Kaplin, Head of Proliska Humanitarian Mission, said that two volunteers of Proliska Humanitarian Mission were injured in Sumy as a result of the explosion of a Molniya drone. They sustained mild acoustic barotrauma.
Serhii Kryvosheienko, Head of Sumy City Military Administration, informed that on 26 May, a russian drone strike in Zarichnyi district of Sumy damaged the roof of an administrative building, the roof of a residential building, and the facade and roof of a tyre service station. Six cars were damaged in a nearby car park. At around 8am in the morning, two russian Molniya drones hit residential buildings.
According to State Emergency Service in Sumy oblast, three people were injured in Romny due to russian strikes overnight on 26 May. The residential sector and an infrastructure facility came under russian attack. Due to the threat of repeated strikes, rescuers temporarily suspended work and moved to a safe place. All fires were extinguished.
Artem Kobzar, Acting Head of Sumy community, said that on the evening of 25 May, a russian drone hit the roof of a high-rise building in Sumy. There were no injured or killed. An apartment in Zarichnyi district of Sumy was damaged. Debris fell at three locations. The area is being inspected and explosive devices are being neutralised.
Sumy Regional Military Administration reported that as a result of enemy strikes in Sumy oblast over the past day, 25 May, 9 civilians were injured by enemy shelling:
▪️ In Seredyna-Buda community, men aged 29 and 42 were injured as a result of russian drone strikes.
▪️ In Velyka Pysarivka community, a 74-year-old woman was injured in an enemy drone attack.
▪️ In Sumy community, a 31-year-old man was injured in an enemy UAV strike.
▪️ In Romny community, women aged 56, 59 and 84 were injured in a UAV attack.
▪️ In Khutir-Mykhailivskyi community, women aged 51 and 63 were injured in an enemy drone attack.
A 56-year-old woman who was injured in an enemy drone attack on 23 May in Sumy community sought medical assistance. A 65-year-old man who was injured after a motorcycle hit a mine on 22 May in Bilopollia community also sought medical assistance.
Over the day, from the morning of 25 May to the morning of 26 May, russian forces carried out almost 70 attacks on 34 settlements in 19 territorial communities of the oblast. Most attacks were recorded in Sumy and Shostka regions. The enemy used mortars, artillery, FPV drones, UAVs and guided aerial bombs. Over the day, air raid alerts in the oblast lasted 22 hours and 14 minutes.
Civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged and destroyed:

▪️ in Bilopollia community, private residential buildings, a car, a non-residential premises and a civilian infrastructure facility were damaged;
▪️ in Khutir-Mykhailivskyi community, a non-residential building and a community centre building were damaged;
▪️ in Seredyna-Buda community, an apartment building, private residential buildings and a civilian infrastructure facility were damaged;
▪️ in Vorozhba community, private residential buildings were damaged;
▪️ in Sumy community, an apartment building, a private residential building and an administrative premises were damaged;
▪️ in Stepanivka community, a civilian infrastructure facility and non-residential premises were damaged;
▪️ in Romny community, civilian infrastructure facilities, a private residential building and an outbuilding were damaged;
▪️ in Mykolaivka rural community, a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged;
▪️ in Richky community, a private residential building was damaged;
▪️ in Hlukhiv community, a non-residential premises, a private residential building and an outbuilding were damaged;
▪️ in Esman community, a private residential building was destroyed;
▪️ in Shostka community, private residential buildings and outbuildings were damaged;
▪️ in Shalyhyne community, a private residential building was destroyed;
▪️ in Znob-Novhorodske community, civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged;
▪️ in Yampil community, an administrative building was damaged.
Over the day, local authorities, together with units of State Emergency Service, National Police and public organisations, evacuated 36 people from border communities.
Serhii Minakov, Head of Esman community, informed that russian forces destroyed a church in Ulanove village, Esman community. The ruins of the church were discovered on 25 May during a remote inspection of the area. According to preliminary information, russian forces destroyed it by artillery. He said no people remained in Ulanove, but the enemy continues to shell and destroy the village.

According to Sumy Regional Military Administration, UAH 4.6m. has been allocated in Sumy oblast to protect emergency medical workers in the oblast. The funds were allocated from the regional budget to Regional Centre for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine. The money will be used for alternative radio communication equipment, electronic warfare systems and fuel to ensure uninterrupted work of crews.
Oleh Hryhorov, Head of Sumy Regional Military Administration, announced that in Sumy oblast, over three years of state programme eVidnovlennia, almost 12,000 families received compensation for damaged or destroyed housing totalling UAH 7.3b. Of the total compensation amount, UAH 6.7b was paid for destroyed housing and more than UAH 500m for damaged property.
Chernihiv oblast
Pavlo Miroshnychenko, Head of Koriukivka Regional Military Administration, reported that a 40-year-old woman was injured in Snovsk, Chernihiv oblast, on 26 May. She was hurt during a russian attack on the city cemetery. She was hospitalised with shrapnel wounds.
The strike damaged the graves of fallen defenders of the russian-Ukrainian war. Enemy UAV strikes also hit the city’s transport infrastructure. Three impacts were recorded in total.
Oleksandr Selivverstov, Head of Novhorod-Siverskyi Regional Military Administration, said that overnight on 26 May, russian forces struck Oleksandrivka village in Semenivka community using Molniya-type attack UAVs. At least five impacts were recorded.
The attack caused a fire that destroyed residential and outbuildings.

Viacheslav Chaus, Head of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, informed that on 25 May, the roof and ceiling of a residential building were damaged in Novhorod-Siverskyi after a UAV fell. In Chernihivskyi district, the enemy struck transport infrastructure.
According to the State Emergency Service in Chernihiv oblast, a fire broke out in ecosystems in Koriukivka region on 25 May after a russian UAV fell. The fire spread in separate areas over a total area of about seven hectares. Emergency workers prevented the fire from spreading further and extinguished it.
Chernihiv Border Detachment reported that on 25 May, russian forces attacked five border communities in Chernihiv oblast: Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, Snovsk, Koriukivka and Horodnia. The enemy carried out shelling with mortars (9 explosions) and tube artillery (1 explosion), struck with Molniya UAVs (1 explosion) and FPV drones (17 explosions), and dropped explosive devices from UAVs (6 explosions). Fourteen settlements came under enemy fire.
Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine
Vinnytsia Oblast.
Mayor Serhii Morhunov reported the 33rd delivery for the 120th Territorial Defence Brigade from Vinnytsia residents. It included 400 FPV drones (10-inch) and 5 Matrice 4E drones. This equipment is currently among the most effective for combat operations.
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
Nikopol region. The enemy struck the regional centre, Marhanetsk, Chervonohryhorivka, Tomakivka and Pokrovske rural communities. In the evening and in the morning, they shelled by artillery, UAVs and FPV drones. An enterprise, 4 private houses, a car and an outbuilding were damaged.
Kamianske region. As a result of the attack in Verkhivtseve community, a fire broke out. The contact power network was damaged.
Synelnykove region. UAVs were directed toward Ukrainka and Petropavlivska communities.
Nikopol region. The occupiers shelled the regional centre, Marhanetsk, Chervonohryhorivka, Myrove and Pokrovske rural communities by drones and artillery. A private house, an outbuilding and infrastructure were damaged.
Synelnykove region. As a result of a guided aerial bomb strike in Pokrovske community, a fire broke out. An outbuilding caught fire. A garage and a private house were damaged. Due to the morning UAV attack in Petropavlivka community, a summer kitchen caught fire.
Samar region. The enemy attacked Chernechchyna and Pereshchepyne communities by UAVs. Fires broke out. 4 garages and infrastructure were damaged.
Kirovohrad oblast
Memorial ceremonies for defenders took place in Kirovohrad oblast. They were Vitalii Shelest from Mala Vyska and Serhii Koval from Haivoron city.
Vitalii Shelest had been considered missing in action since 2 July 2023, while carrying out a combat mission near Berkhivka village in Donetsk oblast. The warrior’s death has now been confirmed by DNA examination.
Serhii Koval was killed on 22 February 2024, while carrying out a combat mission near Novoprokopivka village in Polohy region of Zaporizhzhia oblast.
In Znamianka, on 26 May, residents welcomed home 36-year-old serviceman Valerii Prykhodchenko from Petrove village, Znamianka community, who had been released from russian captivity. He went missing on 9 August 2023, while carrying out a combat mission in Robotyne village, Zaporizhzhia oblast. The man spent 2 years and almost 4 months in captivity. He returned home after completing rehabilitation.
Poltava oblast
On the night of 26 May, as a result of the russian attack, several strikes on critical infrastructure facilities and the residential sector were recorded. A total of 82 rescuers and 21 units of State Emergency Service equipment were involved in eliminating the consequences.
Vitalii Diakivnych, Head of the RMA, stated that currently, Opishnia, Mali Budyshcha, Popivka, Zaichentsi and Miski Mlyny are without gas supply. Gas workers continue restoration work, but periodically have to suspend it due to air raid alerts.
Cherkasy oblast
In Talne, residents will pay tribute to Oleksandr Bezrukavyi, who was killed in the war. He died on 21 January 2024, while carrying out a combat mission in Makiivka village, Svatove region, Luhansk oblast.
In Smila, residents will pay tribute to defender Vitalii Velychko. He was killed on 9 August 2023, near Yahidne settlement in Bakhmut region of Donetsk oblast while carrying out combat missions.
Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine
Zaporizhzhia oblast
Ivan Fedorov, Head of Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported that 15 people were injured as a result of the russian attack on Zaporizhzhia. Among the injured are 2 women aged 27 and 40, and a 36-year-old man. A non-residential building was damaged by the blast wave and shrapnel. Cars parked nearby were damaged, some of them caught fire.
2 people were injured as a result of attacks on Zaporizhzhia oblast. On 25 May, russian forces carried out 778 strikes on 39 settlements of Zaporizhzhia oblast.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on 25 May, the Defence Forces repelled 30 russian attacks in Huliaipole and Orikhiv regions. Mykolaiv oblast
Based on the information provided by Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, on the morning of 26 May, combat operations were conducted in Mykolaiv oblast. As a result of falling debris, the walls of a private house were damaged. As of 7am, no information about injured or killed people had been received. Also on 25 May, the russian military attacked Kutsurub community by an FPV drone. There were no injuries reported.
Odesa oblast
Referring to Odesa Regional Military Administration, as a result of the attack on Odesa on the evening of 25 May, 1 person was killed and 3 injured. As a result of the strike, a city infrastructure facility was damaged and a fire broke out at the site, which was extinguished by rescuers.
According to the Operational Command South, on the evening of 25 May, russia attacked Odesa oblast by an Iskander-M ballistic missile from the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea.
Kherson oblast
Relying on the information provided by Kherson RMA, at approximately 1pm, russians attacked a man in the central part of Kherson by a drone. The 53-year-old resident sustained multiple shrapnel wounds to the face, torso and arms, concussion, blast injury and closed traumatic brain injury.
At around 11am, 3 people were injured as a result of russian artillery shelling of Korabelnyi district of Kherson. Women aged 75, 63 and 56, and men aged 55 and 44, were hospitalised in moderate condition. They sustained concussions, blast injuries and closed traumatic brain injuries, while the woman suffered shrapnel wounds to the chest and arm.

Volyn oblast
Defender Serhii Shulepov was taken to his final earthly journey in Volyn. For almost half a year, the soldier was considered missing. After conducting a DNA examination, it was confirmed that Serhii was killed on 16 January 2026 in Kharkiv oblast, while performing his military duty.
Zakarpattia oblast
A working meeting with representatives of the interdisciplinary German-Ukrainian consortium RaumChance für Ukraine was held in the Uzhhorod City Council. They discussed the European Flagship for Housing, Rehabilitation and Municipal Innovations initiative, which should combine German experience in municipal management, modern approaches to social housing and rehabilitation, the scientific potential of Ukrainian partners and the capabilities of the oblast as a region for implementing innovative solutions.
Ivano-Frankivsk oblast
Ivano-Frankivsk City Council announced that a memorial plaque to fallen hero Volodymyr Roik was unveiled in the city.
Lviv oblast
In Sheptytskyi region, fallen Defenders were awarded high state awards (posthumously). Yaremechko Vasyl, Voroshyk Serhii, Shchelokov Oleksandr, Holko Volodymyr, Chernii Volodymyr and Proskurenko Yevhen were awarded with the III degree For Courage Order. Serhii Voroshyk was also awarded the Combatant’s Cross honorary breastplate by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Rivne oblast
The RMA reported that in Rivne oblast, they said goodbye to servicemen Maksym Kolisnichenko from Dubrovytska community, Leonid Sulzhyk from Bereznivska community, and Ihor Voitsekhivskyi from Oleksandriyska community.
Ternopil oblast
Renovations to create a barrier-free space near Ternopil RMAs buildings have been completed. The location is part of the first phase of a 4.3 km inclusive route thanks to joint financing from the state, regional and local budgets.
Khmelnytskyi oblast
589 active military personnel from Khmelnytskyi community received financial assistance for their own needs. The total amount of assistance is almost UAH 6m.
Chernivtsi oblast
Chernivtsi paid their last respects to Oleksandr Lebid, soldier of the Military Unit A5137. The Hero was killed while performing a combat mission.
