The total number of combat engagements along the entire frontline is 62.
The occupiers continue to use aviation, in particular, dropping drones, and conduct ground attacks. The defence forces are holding the line and taking the necessary measures to prevent a breakthrough.
The invaders do not stop using artillery on the territories of the regions bordering the russian Federation. The areas of Uhroidy, Vilne, Popivka, Oleksandrivka, Bila Bereza, Yizdetske in Sumy oblast and Hirsk in Chernihiv oblast were shelled by the enemy.
Four assaults by the invaders took place towards Vovchansk and Dvorichna towards Kharkiv. Enemy aircraft dropped drones on Zolochiv, Udy and Yemtsi, and struck Vovchanske Khutory with unguided aerial missiles.
The enemy tried four times to advance on the positions of Ukrainian troops near Petropavlivka and Zahryzove towards Kupiansk.
Towards Lyman, the aggressor attacked near Nadiia, Novoliubivka, Zelena Dolyna and Yampolivka. In total, there have been five combat engagements in this sector since the beginning of the day, one of which is ongoing.
Six enemy attacks were repelled by our defenders in the areas of Bilohorivka, Ivan-Daryivka and Verkhnokamianske towards Siversk, and one battle is still ongoing.
Towards Kramatorsk, Ukrainian defence forces repelled one enemy attempt to advance near Chasiv Yar.
Towards Toretsk, the enemy attacked Ukrainian troops’ positions seven times in the areas of Toretsk and Krymske. Three firefights are still ongoing.
Towards Pokrovsk, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders 14 times today in the areas of Promin, Tarasivka, Nadiivka, Preobrazhenka and Andriivka, three of the engagements are ongoing. Lysivka and Pokrovsk came under attack from multiple rocket launchers.
Towards Novopavlivka, our defenders repelled two enemy attacks near Kostiantynopil and Burlatske, and two more are still ongoing.
Two firefights are ongoing towards Orikhiv, and Ukrainian troops have already repelled another enemy attack. The enemy is trying to advance in the areas of Mali Shcherbaky and Kamianske.
One unsuccessful russian assault towards Kherson ended.
Towards Huliaipole, the enemy did not conduct any offensive actions since the beginning of the day.
Ten combat engagements took place towards Kursk today, three of them are still ongoing. In addition, the enemy carried out 6 air strikes, dropped nine unmanned aerial vehicles and made 294 artillery attacks.
443,000 Ukrainians went abroad in 2024 and did not return. This figure is 3.3 times higher than last year. In total, according to official data from the State Border Guard Service, about 3m citizens have not returned in the three years of full-scale war.
The Ministry of Defence has handed over a batch of Ukrainian-made trucks to the Armed Forces, the first to be purchased under state guarantees. The relevant state contract was signed in December 2024, and in January this year, the Ministry of Defence received about eight dozen 4×4 and 6×6 trucks that can transport military personnel and cargo. The localisation of production of these vehicles in Ukraine exceeds 50%.

Kharkiv oblast
Frontline
The General Staff reported that as of 4pm, russian troops attempted four assaults near Vovchansk and Dvorichna towards Kharkiv. Towards Kupiansk, there were also four attacks in the areas of Petropavlivka and Zahryzove.
The General Staff added that during the day, Zolochiv, Udy and Yemtsi in Kharkiv oblast were hit by air strikes, and russian army fired at Vovchansky Khutory with unguided missiles.
Towards Kharkiv, our defenders repelled one enemy attack near Vovchansk the day before, and another firefight is still ongoing.
Towards Kupiansk, the enemy attacked our defenders’ positions 11 times near Petropavlivka and Zahryzove.
Oleksandr Danylenko, Head of the media relations group of the Gart brigade, reported that it is more difficult for russian groups to storm the positions of Ukrainian troops towards Kharkiv due to frost and snow.
Attacks
Since the beginning of this year, the enemy has fired more than 450 times at Kharkiv oblast, including more than a hundred self-propelled artillery systems, more than a hundred UAVs and others.
In total, over the three years of the full-scale war, the enemy has fired almost 22,000 times at the territory of Kharkiv oblast. Most of the attacks were carried out by UAVs – almost 1,900, missiles – 1,500, and MLRS – more than 1,260. The aggressor also sent 549 attack UAVs.
The press service of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration reported that one person was killed and one was wounded – russian troops fired at Bilyi Kolodiaz of the Vovchansk community with MLRS, hitting a civilian car. The person killed in Bilyi Kolodiaz was a 62-year-old resident of Volokhivka who temporarily lived in Kharkiv, and the wounded was his 53-year-old acquaintance, the Kharkiv police press service said. Around 3pm, patrol police officers found a burnt-out SUV.
Andrii Kanashevych, Head of Kupiansk Regional State Administration, said that at around 11am, russian troops massively shelled the community of Kindrashiv with aerial bombs. The hits were in the areas of the villages of Velyka Shapkivka, Kindrashivka and Moskovka. Information on the consequences of the shelling is being established
Viktor Kovalenko, Head of the Military Administration, said that in Oleksandrivka of Zolochiv community, russian troops damaged three houses, outbuildings and power grids as a result of artillery shelling.
The enemy hit a mobile shelter for the population, which withstood two attacks. There were no casualties.
At 12:30pm, russian aviation launched five attacks with anti-aircraft guns on Zolochiv community. Two of them hit the village of Zolochiv. The first strike hit a garage, damaging two 4-storey and four 2-storey buildings and an electricity substation. One civilian car was destroyed and three damaged. A 78-year-old woman was injured by glass and suffered an acute stress reaction.
The second aerial bomb landed on the territory of a household. About 20 private houses, outbuildings, a car, and power lines were damaged. A woman of 48 years old was injured, she was hit by glass and suffered an acute stress reaction.
The third CAB hit an open area in the village of Udy. Information about the damage and casualties is being updated.
The fourth MRL hit an open area in Myronivka village. There was no information on damage or casualties.
The fifth bomb hit the outskirts of the village of Ridne. Preliminary reports indicate no damage or casualties.
At 4:20am, the russians attacked Bolyboky village. As a result of the hit of an unidentified aerial vehicle on the territory of the farm’s carriageway, machinery and storage facilities were damaged.
At 4am, russians attacked Zolochiv community. 2 MRLS hit the ground in an open area outside the villages of Chornohlazivka and Dovzhyk.
At 2 and 3:30am, russians attacked Riasne village. As a result of attacks by 3 Shahed UAVs, a truck, a combine harvester and 4 storage facilities of a private agricultural enterprise were damaged.
Yesterday at 11:40pm, russians attacked Slatyne village. As a result of the shelling, 5 private houses were damaged.
At 11:17pm, russians attacked Derhachi. As a result of the hit of an unexploded ordnance, 10 private houses were damaged in the open area. 4 women were injured.
At 11pm, russians attacked Tymofiivka village. An FPV drone hit damaged a private house and outbuildings.
At 10:45pm, russians attacked Zolochiv community. 1 MLRS hit an open area on the outskirts of Dovzhyk village. 1 MRLS hit an open area on the outskirts of Myronivka village.
At 5pm, russians attacked Zolochiv village. The fence of a private household was damaged as a result of the fall of an FPV drone.
At 2:30pm, russians attacked Ivashky village. The shelling damaged a two-storey apartment building.
At 10:28am, russians attacked Tsupivka village. The shelling damaged private houses. 4 people were injured.
Other
Since May last year, 24,500 people have been evacuated from Kharkiv and Kupiansk settlements, with one in eight evacuees staying in dormitories in the oblast. 200 of the 267 children and their families scheduled for evacuation have already been taken to safe places in some settlements in Kupianske. Kharkiv CMA has identified 74 places of temporary residence for IDPs with 11,400 beds. At present, 7,786 people, including 1,049 children, are living in dormitories in the city and region. Another 760 places have been prepared for accommodation
UNESCO’s first field mission to Kharkiv oblast has begun and experts are conducting 3D scans of damaged historical and cultural sites.
On 25 February, the Alley of Remembrance for the soldiers who died defending Ukraine during the full-scale invasion was opened in Kulynichi. Memorials were erected to eight fallen defenders, with their portraits painted by artists placed inside glass.

Kharkiv artist Hamlet created art in Belgium to mark the anniversary of the russian invasion. The inscription How many times and the date 24.02.2022 appeared on the building of the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Below are two blue and yellow canvases where the artist wrote 16 sentences that begin with the question “how many times…”

Donetsk oblast
Frontline
The 68th Ranger Brigade said that Ukrainian troops destroyed a russian APC-82 towards Pokrovsk along with its crew. The armoured vehicle was hit by FPV drones.
The commander of the 21st battalion of the Separate Presidential Brigade, call sign Kucher said that the russian army has sent reinforcements for street fighting in Toretsk. The brigade is expecting up to 1,500 russian infantrymen in its area of responsibility.
Russian troops continue to attack in Toretsk and are trying to force the Defence Forces out of the city centre. Yesterday the occupiers stormed the positions of the Ukrainian military 11 times within the city and near Krymske.
The russian army conducted most of the attacks towards Pokrovsk. Russian troops stormed 28 times in the direction of the villages of Vodiane Druhe, Promin, Leontovychi, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Nadiivka, Troitske, Andriivka, Tarasivka and Ulakly.
Another 13 attacks were repelled by Ukrainian troops on Novopavlivka front near Kostiantynopil and Burlatske.
Attacks
At around 2:20pm, russians attacked the private sector of Kramatorsk. The attack damaged at least 17 private houses. A rescue operation is underway. An investigative team, explosives experts, paramedics, patrol police and all specialised services are working at the scene. 14 people were injured, including 4 children, and 1 person died.

Serhii Horbunov, Head of the CMA, said tht around 5am, russian troops launched an air strike on Ivanopillia in Kostiantynivka community. The occupiers damaged eight private houses.
Yesterday russian troops carried out 2,726 strikes on the front line and the residential sector. Eight settlements were under attack: Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk, Lyman, Pokrovsk, Sloviansk, Viroliubivka, Komar and Fedorivka. 96 civilian objects were damaged, including 64 residential buildings.

The russians dropped two UMPB D-30SN bombs on Sloviansk, killing a woman and injuring two other civilians. 14 private houses, three shops, a pharmacy, an educational institution, a non-residential building, and 5 cars were destroyed.
The enemy struck Kramatorsk with three UMPB D-30SN bombs and a drone, injuring two civilians, damaging 9 private houses, a non-residential building, 2 garages and three civilian cars.
The occupiers shelled Kostiantynivka with three FAB-250 bombs and a Smerch MLRS – one person was wounded, 4 apartment buildings and 28 private houses, a shop, a boiler room, 2 cars, 3 power lines and 4 gas pipelines were damaged.
One person was wounded as a result of a UMPB D-30SN bomb strike on Fedorivka in Komar community.
Russia sent 2 FAB-250 bombs to Pokrovsk, damaging 8 private houses, a supermarket, and trade pavilions.
In Lyman, an enemy drone damaged a private house. An educational institution in Viroliubivka, Kostiantynivka community, was damaged by shelling.
Serhii Horbunov, Head of the CMA, reported that rescuers unblocked the body of a deceased person from under the rubble of a five-storey building in Kostyantynivka, which was hit by the occupiers at 8:36 a.m. on Saturday 22 February. The number of casualties in the shelling of Kostiantynivka increased to four, eight people were wounded.
Other
Viacheslav, a soldier with the 35th Marine Brigade, said that Ukrainian servicemen captured a mercenary of the russian army, originally from West Africa. He was storming the positions of the Defence Forces as part of a russian subversive reconnaissance group.

Donetskoblhaz said that gas supply to four houses in Mykolaivka has been restored after russian shelling of the town last week. The strike damaged about 30 metres of gas pipeline.
Luhansk oblast
Russian attacks yesterday were concentrated near Novoliubivka and Dibrova, where our defenders are holding back the enemy’s attempts to advance. The invaders fired seven times from cannon and rocket artillery. They sent 151 unmanned aerial vehicles towards the fortifications of Ukrainian defenders.
The so-called “lpr” announced measures to be implemented under a new regional programme for the gasification of housing and communal services, which is scheduled to run until 2033. However, their implementation is foreseen only from 2029, when the relevant works are planned to start in Khrustalne, Antratsyt, Brianka, Rovenky, Sorokyne. A year later, in 2030, the gasification of villages near Lutuhyne is expected to start. The work, if the locals wait for it, will last until 2033. The programme does not mention any recovery in the towns and villages occupied and destroyed in 2022.
Residents of occupied Siverskodonetsk are once again outraged by the poor quality of the demonstration repairs carried out by russian contractors. This applies to those high-rise buildings that fell under the first wave of “restoration”. In particular, the water, heating and sewage systems that the occupiers had installed in the buildings could not withstand even a year and a half of operation. Most of them need not only routine repairs, but complete replacement.
What is happening now in the north of Ukraine
Kyiv oblast
Kyiv Regional Military Administration reported that a 44-year-old woman was injured as a result of the fall of the wreckage of downed enemy UAVs in Obukhiv region. Also in the area, 8 private houses, outbuildings, 2 garages and 2 cars were damaged. In Fastiv district, 4 private houses and a car were damaged by a russian attack.
The air alert in Kyiv lasted almost 8 hours. Air defence forces successfully worked on enemy targets spotted over the city. The wreckage of a downed russian attack UAV fell in the forest park area of Holosiivskyi district.
At Chornobyl nuclear power plant, the consequences of the russian strike on the Shelter are being addressed. Constant monitoring is being carried out. The radiation level at the facility does not exceed the control levels.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine informed that local residents found a wing and a warhead of downed russian drones at the Kyiv Water Reservoir and near one of the lakes in the capital.
The cities of Bucha (Kyiv oblast) and Sloviansk (Donetsk oblast) have signed a memorandum of cooperation between communities within the framework of the national project “Side by Side: Cohesive Communities”. The partnership envisages interaction and mutual assistance in various areas – social, cultural, sports, economic, medical, educational, etc. Supporting internally displaced people from Sloviansk will be a key area of cooperation.
The Third Assault Force is launching a Reform Platform to strengthen the Ukrainian Defence Forces. On 20 March 2025, a presentation event will be held in Kyiv to share experience and knowledge to improve the effectiveness of the Ukrainian army.
Kyiv oblast takes an important step in supporting veterans and people with disabilities – the oblast now has its own amputees football team, Burevii. Amp-football in Ukraine is currently being intensively developed in order to return servicemen after being wounded to an active lifestyle.
The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine reported that the first part of the Memorial to Ukrainian intelligence officers was opened in Kyiv on the third anniversary of the full-scale invasion of russia.
Zhytomyr oblast
The RMA reported that at around 6:50am, a private residential building with a 56-year-old woman and two girls aged 5 and 7 caught fire as a result of an aerial attack. Three other residential buildings and an outbuilding were also damaged at the scene. The fire was contained. The woman and children were taken to medical facilities.

A swimming pool for the rehabilitation of wounded defenders has been opened in Zhytomyr oblast. Swimming training is free of charge and conducted by professional coaches. The rehabilitation programme is aimed at improving physical condition and endurance, restoring psychological balance and facilitating adaptation to civilian life.
Sumy oblast
The State Border Guard Service reported that border guards, together with other units of the Defense Forces, delivered another strike on russian troops towards Sumy. They hit a pontoon bridge and destroyed a D-20 gun.
The Regional Military Administration informed that on the morning of 25 February, the enemy attacked the regional center by Shaheds. As a result of the crash of one of the russian drones, two people were injured. The attack damaged 1 private house, 3 apartment buildings, and an office building. In three high-rise buildings and other nearby structures, a total of 148 windows were shattered by the blast wave. Rescuers inspected the area and provided assistance to the affected individuals.
Zoia Nechyporenko, Head of Verkhna Syrovatka community, said that on the morning of 25 February, the russian army struck Verkhna Syrovatka towards Sumy. The consequences of the attack are being clarified.
Liudmyla Biriukova, Head of Velyka Pysarivka community, reported that on 25 February, a russian drone scattered explosives in Velyka Pysarivka. People are asked to be cautious when moving along Centralna Street in the area near the military commissariat. This is the fourth incident in a week and a half.
During the night and morning, the russians carried out 24 shellings of border territories and settlements in Sumy oblast. A total of 27 strikes from various types of weapons were recorded. The Sumy, Khotin, Yunakivka, Velyka Pysarivka, and Seredyna-Buda communities were shelled.
On 25 February 25, anti-aircraft gunners shot down 7 enemy Shahed over Sumy oblast. Since the beginning of the year, air defense units in the region have destroyed 501 russian drones.
During the past day, on 24 February, the russian military carried out 70 shellings of Sumy oblast. A total of 169 explosions were recorded. The enemy struck by mortars (47 explosions), artillery (43 explosions), MLRS (30 explosions), GAB launches (9 explosions), UAV attacks (3 explosions), FPV-drones (16 explosions), and UAV VOG drops (23 explosions). Thirteen communities were shelled: Sumy, Khotin, Yunakivka, Myropillia, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Putyvl, Shalyhyne, Esman, Seredyna-Buda, Svesa, and Znob-Novhorod.
According to the Regional Military Administration, as a result of russian shelling on 24 February in Velyka Pysarivka community, 1 civilian was killed and 2 civilians were injured. In Myropillia community, 3 civilians were injured, and 6 private houses were damaged. In Sumy community, one person was killed, another was injured, and 2 apartment buildings and 2 private cars were damaged.
The “North” Operational Command reported that the consequences of russian shelling on 24 February:
- In Shevchenkove village, Velyka Pysarivka community, one person was killed and 5 were injured. Farm buildings were damaged.
- In Yampil, a power line was damaged as a result of the shelling.
- In Seredyna-Buda, a private house and a retail facility were damaged.
- In Rozhkovychi village, Seredyna-Buda community, a critical infrastructure facility was damaged.
- In Ulanove village, Esman community, a private house was damaged.
- In Shalyhyne, a critical infrastructure facility was damaged.
The State Emergency Service rescuers completed emergency restoration work in Hlukhiv. The previous night, on 23 February, the russian army struck the city by guided aerial bombs (GABs). In the residential sector, rescuers dismantled emergency structures and temporarily restored the roofs of houses and a garage.
“White Angel” police crew evacuated a couple from the border area of Sumy oblast, along with their beloved pets – rabbits. Their house was recently hit by a bomb dropped by russian forces: the woman was inside the house, and her husband was in the yard. Both suffered injuries. The police provided first aid and began evacuation measures. A 71-year-old neighbor also expressed a desire to move to a safer place.

The Regional Military Administration informed that on the third anniversary of the start of the full-scale invasion, a police station was opened in the hero city of Okhtyrka. From now on, a professional and motivated unit will serve over 48,000 residents of the community.
Chernihiv oblast
Chernihiv Regional Military Administration reported that in the morning, the russians attacked the border village of Semenivka community. The enemy carried out 8 strikes by unguided aerial missiles. As a result of the shelling, a 78-year-old local resident was injured and hospitalized with a shrapnel wound to his leg. A residential house was also damaged.
The State Border Guard Service informed that in Chernihiv oblast, during the night on 25 February, during another attack by russian drones, border guards destroyed an attack drone of the Shahed type with small arms.
Chernihiv Border Detachment reported that russian troops attacked three border communities in Chernihiv oblast throughout the day on 24 February: Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, and Snovsk. A total of 64 strikes were recorded. The enemy carried out shelling with mortars and barrel artillery, FPV-drones, launched eight unguided aerial missiles, and dropped explosive devices from UAVs. Seven villages were under enemy fire. As a result of the shelling of Tymonovychi village, a private house caught fire.
According to Regional Police, bomb disposal experts neutralized the warhead of a downed russian drone that did not detonate.
Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
3 enemy UAVs were shot down over the oblast. There were no casualties or destruction reported.
During the day, russian forces carried out around 15 attacks on Nikopol region, by artillery and kamikaze drones. Nikopol, Marhanets, Myrove, Pokrov and Chervonohryhorivka communities came under attack. The attacks damaged 4 private houses, 3 outbuildings, businesses, infrastructure facilities and a power line. In Synelnykove region, russian forces struck Novopavlivka community by a KAB, damaging infrastructure. There were no casualties reported.
Vinnytsia oblast
Mayor Serhii Morhunov informed that the team of the Interregional Humanitarian Aid Coordination Headquarters is supplying 2,000 FPV drones to Ukrainian forces.
Kirovohrad oblast
Andrii Raikovych, Head of the RMA, reported that at night, during an air raid alert, Ukrainian air defence forces shot down 2 enemy Shahed drones over the oblast. There was no damage or casualties reported.
In Oleksandriia, a memorial ceremony was held for serviceman Anatolii Melnyk, born in 1988. The soldier passed away in hospital on 8 February 2025, due to wounds sustained earlier while carrying out a combat mission.
Poltava oblast
The russian military struck an industrial facility in Myrhorod region, causing a fire. Emergency services extinguished the blaze. A total of 153 personnel from the State Emergency Service garrisons of Poltava, Cherkasy and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts, along with 51 units of equipment, were involved in the response. A commission is assessing the damage.
Poltava oblast mourns the loss of Ukrainian defenders. Major Oleksandr Kovalenko was killed in action on 23 February 2025, during combat operations against russian occupiers in the northeastern direction. Captain Oleksii Samchuk was killed while carrying out a combat mission. Both servicemen were part of the 116th Separate Brigade of the Territorial Defence Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In Poltava, a memorial service was held at the Holy Assumption Cathedral of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine for soldier Viacheslav Dykyi, who was killed in action on 18 February 2025 in Luhansk oblast.
Cherkasy oblast
Ihor Taburets, Head of the RMA, stated that Ukrainian air defence forces shot down 20 enemy attack drones over Cherkasy oblast. There were no casualties or infrastructure damage reported.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyi posthumously awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine with the Golden Star order to 2 soldiers from Cherkasy oblast: Junior Sergeants Petro Stepanenko and Valerii Demenev.
Petro Stepanenko served as a combat medic in the 118th Separate Brigade. He was killed on 8 July near Klishchiivka village while rescuing a fellow soldier. He was posthumously awarded the Order For Courage III class.
Valerii Demenev was a rifle battalion commander. He was killed on 24 June due to an explosive injury near Lyman Pershyi in Kharkiv oblast.
Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine
Zaporizhzhia oblast
Ivan Fedorov, Head of the RMA, reported that the russian military carried out 8 airstrikes on Huliaipole in Zaporizhzhia oblast. Private houses and non-residential buildings were damaged. Around 20 residential buildings sustained damage in the attack. Also, as reported by the State Emergency Service (SES) russian forces attacked the city by drones, one of which damaged a SES vehicle. The drone hit a fire truck while rescuers were responding to the emergency. The vehicle was damaged but remained operational. One of the aerial bombs failed to detonate and was subsequently removed and neutralised by bomb disposal specialists.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on 24 February, Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled 3 russian attacks in Orikhiv region. The clashes occurred near Kamianske and Mali Shcherbaky.
Based on the information provided by Berdiansk City Military Administration, residents of the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia oblast without russian passports are facing oppression and are being forced to leave the territory independently. The only ways to avoid forced displacement are either signing a contract with the russian army or “regularising their legal status”.
Ivan Fedorov, Head of the RMA, stated that on 24 February, the russian military launched 517 attacks on 9 towns and villages in Zaporizhzhia oblast. In particular, 287 UAVs of various modifications targeted Piatykhatky, Lobkove, Shcherbaky, Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Novodarivka and Bilohiria.
Mykolaiv oblast
According to the RMA, on the night of 25 February, Ukrainian air defence forces shot down 7 enemy UAVs over Mykolaiv oblast. Also, during the day, russian troops attacked Kutsurub community by FPV drones, damaging a power line. The waters of the Ochakiv community came under FPV drones attack 3 times. There were no casualties reported in either case.
Odesa oblast
The Ukrainian Navy reported that as of the morning of 25 February, russia deployed one warship carrying Kalibr cruise missiles for combat duty in the Black Sea. No russian warships were detected in the Sea of Azov.
Kherson oblast
According to the RMA, at noon, russian forces attacked Stanislav by a drone, wounding a man and a woman. Both sustained blast injuries and concussions.
In Dniprovskyi district ofKherson, a 63-year-old man suffered a blast injury and shrapnel wounds to his leg following a russian strike.
During the night, russian forces shelled a regional hospital in Kherson, damaging windows and the boiler house. There were no casualties reported. The water supply network was also damaged, with some boiler pipes affected. The blast wave shattered around 70 windows. The hospital staff is currently working to eliminate the consequences of the attack and water utility workers are restoring the water supply.
Roman Mrochko, Head of the CMA, said that after midnight, russian troops shelled Antonivka, a suburb of Kherson, wounding a 56-year-old man.
Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the RMA, informed that in Mylove, rescuers discovered the body of an elderly woman in one of the houses. She was killed in a russian shelling attack the previous day.
According to the RMA, Vesele resident was injured in a russian drone attack on 24 February. The 55-year-old woman sustained a blast injury, a concussion, carbon monoxide poisoning and burns on her arm and face. She was hospitalised. The village also came under mortar, tank, barrel and artillery attacks. At least 2 houses burned down.
On 24 February, in Dniprovskyi district of Kherson, a 76-year-old woman was injured in a russian attack. She sought medical assistance today. Doctors assess her condition as moderate.
A 72-year-old Kherson resident was injured in yesterday’s russian drone attack. She suffered a blast injury and shrapnel wounds to her chest.

Volyn oblast
The RMA held a meeting with Anna Nowakowska, Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Lutsk, and Consul Krzysztof Wasilewski. They discussed key aspects and tools of interaction that will contribute to the further development of bilateral relations.
Zakarpattia oblast
The RMA awarded with the award to the family of the Hero who were killed in the battles for the independence of Ukraine. The I degree For Courage Order was awarded to Junior Sergeant Ihor Brynzanyi, soldier of the 15th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade.
Ivano-Frankivsk oblast
The RMA held a meeting with Ihor Obolenskyi, commander of the 13th Operational Brigade Charter, and Vsevolod Kozhemyako, commander of the volunteer unit. Charter is one of the military formations of the National Guard of Ukraine, where servicemen from the oblast serve.
Lviv oblast
Volodymyr Vasylykiv, Vitalii Hlavatskykh, Bohdan Koval, Andrii Lavriv, Anatolii Skorobohach, Ruslan Stadnik and Mykhailo Patyn Seven, defenders from the Drohobych region, were awarded with the III degree For Courage Orders.
A memorial plaque was unveiled in Lviv oblast in memory of Mark Seniv, assistant grenade launcher shooter of the Military Unit A7077. He was killed on 8 May 2024, while performing a combat mission near the settlement of Myasozharivka, Luhansk oblast.
Rivne oblast
20 educational institutions in the oblast will be able to receive funding as part of a pilot project to strengthen school safety. The government has allocated UAH 5.5m for fire safety in schools in Rivne oblast.
The RMA reported that senior soldier Andrii Sydor was awarded with the For the Defense of Ukraine Order of the President of Ukraine, the Golden Cross honorary badge of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the III degree For Courage Order.
The RMA reported that memorial stands have been installed on the Alley of Heroes in Nowyi Rozdol in honor of the community’s defenders who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of their native land.
Ternopil oblast
Memorial plaques were installed on the facade of Ternopil Plast building in Ternopil. The memorial plaques were installed in honor of five Plast members who gave their lives in the fight for Ukraine: Viktor Hurniak, Vitalii Derek, Bohdan Seniuk, Serhii Konoval and Mykola Pohorili.
Khmelnytskyi oblast
Khmelnytskyi community has allocated one-time financial assistance for 562 residents in the amount of UAH 5.1m. These are military personnel, veterans, families of prisoners of war and missing defenders, and households that suffered damage as a result of terrorist attacks by the russian federation.
Chernivtsi oblast
Recently, the arrangement of a storage facility at Chereshnyi Support Lyceum of Vyzhnytsia City Council, which has 240 students, was completed. The storage facility will be able to accommodate not only students and teaching staff, but also community residents. During its arrangement, the idea of creating a functional educational environment was also implemented.
International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)
Australia imposed its largest ever package of sanctions against russia. The restrictions apply to 70 people and 79 companies that support the occupation of Ukrainian territories, assist in the forced deportation of Ukrainian children and strengthen russia’s military cooperation with North Korea. In total, Australia has already imposed more than 1,400 anti-russian sanctions and provided Ukraine with $960m in support.
The EU Council has adopted the 16th package of sanctions against russia. The new restrictions apply to russia’s shadow fleet, its oil tankers, banks, propagandists, companies in the technology, defense, finance, and trade sectors. The sanctions are also imposed on belarus. They mirror trade-related sanctions agreed against russia.
New Zealand also announced new sanctions against russia. The country imposed sanctions against 52 russian citizens and entities, including several North Korean military officials, related to the deployment of this country’s troops on russian territory to participate in the invasion of Ukraine.
