Towards Toretsk, the invader tried to advance seven times in the vicinity of Oleksandro-Shultyne, Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka and Yablunivka. The enemy hit Kostiantynivka with GABs.
Towards Pokrovsk, the invaders made 28 attempts to push the Ukrainian defenders from the occupied positions in the vicinity of the settlements of Poltavka, Nykanorivka, Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Novoekonomichne, Sukhetske, Lysivka, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne and Horikhove. The defense forces are holding back the enemy’s onslaught and repelled 27 attacks. The occupiers’ aviation has struck Dobropillia.
Towards Novopavlivka, the enemy attacked five times near the settlements of Voskressnka, Sichneve, Vorone, Ternove and Novohryhorivka. Currently, one battle is ongoing.
Towards Huliaipole, Ukrainian defenders repelled three attempts by enemy units to advance near Olhivske.

The Ministry of Energy reports that Zaporizhzhia NPP experienced its tenth blackout since the beginning of the russian occupation of the plant. On September 24, at 16:56, the only power transmission line through which Zaporizhzhia NPP received power from the Ukrainian power system was disconnected. Zaporizhzhia NPP switched to powering its own needs from diesel generators. This is a significant violation of the conditions for the normal operation of the plant.
Volodymyr and Olena Zelenskyy say that Ukraine has returned 1,625 children abducted by russia. At this rate, it will take 50 years to return them all. Three private outbuildings with an area of 150 sq. meters were set on fire due to the shelling. Private houses and buildings of an educational institution were damaged, noted the regional State Emergency Service.
Halyna Minaeva, mayor of the city, reports that two people — a man and a woman — were slightly injured as a result of a drone attack on Chuhuiv on the night of September 24. According to her, more than 20 houses were destroyed or damaged.

Donetsk oblast
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that near Pokrovsk, russian troops conducted 64 assaults. The invaders attacked north of the city near Volodymyrivka, Nove Shakhove and Rodynske, and tried to advance east of Pokrovsk near Novoekonomichene.
The second most active area for the number of battles per day was towards Novopavlivka, where the russian army conducted 33 assaults. More than 10 attacks were also recorded towards Lyman and Toretsk.
In the morning, the russian army dropped six FAB-250 aerial bombs on Kostiantynivka. At least 30 private houses, an educational institution and critical infrastructure of the city were damaged, said the head of the RMA Horbunov.
The RMA reports that at least two people were killed and eight more injured as a result of the morning shelling of Kostiantynivka. The russian army shelled the city with aerial bombs. Two men aged 42 and 69 were killed. One of the wounded is in serious condition. The ages of the wounded in Kostiantynivka range from 39 to 94, the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office said. Three FAB-250 aerial bombs with correction modules were dropped on residential areas of the city.
The RMA reports that at night, russian troops twice shelled Kramatorsk with strike drones. The drones hit high-rise buildings, a fire broke out in one of the apartments.

10 settlements were under fire: the cities of Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka, Lyman, Sloviansk, the villages of Malotaranivka, Oleksiivo-Druzhkivka, Yampil, Yasnohirka, Illinivka, and Riznykovka.
48 civilian objects were destroyed, including 22 residential buildings.
Two people were killed and five injured in Kostiantynivka, which withstood 10 attacks. The russians hit civilians with 250 and 500 kg bombs, artillery, and FPV drones. 7 apartment buildings and 3 private houses, 2 shops, three cars and a motorcycle were damaged.
The occupiers shelled Illinivka with artillery – one person was killed, and two more injured. 2 private houses were damaged.
In Sloviansk, a civilian was injured as a result of an FPV drone hit, and a car was damaged.
The enemy attacked Lyman with Uragan MLRS, 13 private houses were destroyed. In Yampol, 2 private houses and 5 outbuildings were damaged.
In Malotaranivka, Kramatorsk community, an outbuilding and a civilian car were damaged due to a strike by a V2U UAV. In Yasnohirka, a Geran-3 UAV destroyed a private house. In Oleksiivo-Druzhkivka, four houses were damaged.
Since the beginning of the full-scale russian invasion, 404 Donetsk oblast police officers have been injured. In September, 30 police officers from the oblast were injured in russian shelling. Among the injured were soldiers from the rifle battalion and employees of non-combat units.
russian soldiers allegedly shot a civilian family in the village of Shandryholove in Donetsk oblast and kidnapped an underage girl to hide from the Ukrainian Defense Forces. A video of the crime and radio intercepts of the occupiers’ conversations were published on the Third Army Corps website.
The RMA reported that another 20 people were evacuated from Kostiantynivska community. The people were taken out by volunteers from the Khaustov charity foundation.

The ATESH movement reported that near the temporarily occupied Mariupol, the russian army is relocating and dispersing warehouses with ammunition and drones after the Defense Forces successfully attacked a storage facility near Bohdanivka in Luhansk oblast. The new locations where the occupiers will store ammunition have already been handed over to the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
Luhansk oblast
The enemy does not reduce ground pressure on our front line. It attacks both towards Lyman and Siversk. In the first of them, there were 16 attempts to wedge into the defensive fortifications of Ukrainian soldiers. In five cases, russians used drones and FPV drones.
The invaders continue to rewrite history in order to change the consciousness of young people in the occupied territories. The other day, russian regional history textbooks called “Donbas and Novorossiya” were presented in Luhansk. They are designed for students in grades 5-7. By the way, it is for them that the number of hours for studying distorted history has been increased from September 1. Quantity, not quality.
In the so-called “lpr”, starting in 2026, salaries to state employees and pensions are going to be paid in digital rubles. Kyiv oblast
In Irpin, the “Münchhausen” residential complex at 53 Kyivska Street, shelled by a russian tank in February 2022, has been restored. Thirty-seven apartments were burned down, the roof and floors destroyed, and everything from the facade to the load-bearing structures damaged. According to the RMA, the building was restored using funds raised through the UNITED24 platform.

Zhytomyr oblast
A veteran space is planned for construction in Zhytomyr. The project will be financed partly by state subsidies and partly by the local budget. The contract for the new construction was signed by the Department of Regional Development of the Zhytomyr Regional State Administration.
On 24 September, an electronic Book of Remembrance for soldiers from the Zhytomyr city community who died for Ukraine was launched in Zhytomyr. It is located on a touchscreen information terminal on Mykhailivska Street. This information was reported by the city council’s department for war veterans. The Book contains information about the fallen defenders of the Zhytomyr city community since 2014.
The Ivan Franko Cinema in Zhytomyr hosted the premiere of the documentary film by director Nataliya Ponomariv, ‘Sheptytsky: Between War and Faith.’ The film was created to mark the 160th anniversary of the birth of Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. The documentary tells the story of the spiritual leader of the Ukrainian people, who lived through two world wars and Soviet and Nazi occupations, and remained a moral compass for the nation.
Sumy oblast
Over the past day, 12 combat clashes took place towards Northern Sloboda and Kursk. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, russian troops carried out eight airstrikes, using 18 guided bombs, and conducted 172 attacks, four of them by multiple launch rocket systems.
As a result of an enemy drone attack in a village of Shalyhyne community, a 52-year-old civilian man sustained shrapnel wounds and was taken to hospital, where he is receiving medical care.
The Regional Military Administration reported that on the evening of 23 September in Vorozhba community, a driver was killed and a passenger injured after an FPV-drone strike on a car. In Seredyna-Buda community, two local residents were wounded in an FPV-drone strike on the morning of 23 September.
Between the morning of 23 September and the morning of 24 September, russian forces carried out 34 attacks on 19 settlements in 13 local communities of the oblast. The largest number of strikes was recorded in Sumy and Shostka regions. The enemy actively used guided aerial bombs (over 10 strikes) and also launched FPV-drone, UAV, and missile attacks.
Consequences of russian strikes in Sumy oblast as of the morning of 24 September:

Viacheslav Chaus, Head of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, reported that on the afternoon of 23 September, enemy drones attacked a border community in Koriukivka regions, damaging transport infrastructure and an industrial facility. Dry grass caught fire but was extinguished.
Chernihiv Border Detachment informed that throughout 23 September, russian forces attacked five border communities in Chernihiv oblast: Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, Snovsk, Koriukivka and Horodnia. The enemy carried out mortar shelling (32 explosions), grenade launcher attacks (11 explosions), artillery strikes (1 explosion), and strikes by “Molniya” UAVs (4 explosions), “Shahed” UAVs (1 explosion), FPV-drones (18 explosions), and dropped explosive devices from UAVs (14 explosions). In Snovsk, a UAV strike caused a fire at an industrial facility.
According to “North” Operational Command, drones also hit a transport infrastructure facility in Snovsk community.
The Regional Military Administration announced that Chernihiv oblast’s partners from Germany’s Segeberg district delivered vehicles and equipment for emergency services. Rescuers received two fire engines, a specialised command vehicle, a passenger car, and a trailer field kitchen. A specialised Mercedes-Benz VITO vehicle was also handed over to Dobrianka community.

Dnipropetrovsk oblast
Air defense forces were ob alert in the region. The defenders of the sky destroyed 12 enemy UAVs.

The enemy hit Dnipro with a missile. Four people were wounded. The invaders continued to strike Nikopol region with drones and artillery. They targeted Nikopol, Marhanets, Myrove, Chervonohryhorivka, and Pokrovske communities. Five people were injured. Men 23, 75, and 68 years old, as well as women 21 and 33 years old. They were provided with the necessary medical assistance. 6 private houses, a shop, an enterprise, 2 outbuildings, and a trailer were damaged. UAVs and Synelnykove region were attacked again. They targeted Pokrovske, Mezhova and Mykolaivske communities. A 61-year-old man died. A fire broke out, infrastructure was damaged. russian troops also attacked Kamianske region. Vinnytsia oblast
It became known about the death of ten defenders from Vinnytsia region. In particular, Kuzmenko Serhii, Andrii Blazhko, Yaschenko Yevhenii, Serhii Tsyrkaniuk, Mykyta Okhrimenko, Burlachuk Oleksandr, Artiukh Vitalii, Oleksii Rusinov, Litvinchuk Andrii and Yasinskyi Yurii.
Kirovohrad region
Andrii Raikovych, Head of the RMA, says that Kirovohrad oblast continues to receive people who are forced to leave their homes because of the war. In August-September alone, the communities of the region received 2,290 internally displaced persons. The largest number – almost 1,600 people – arrived from Donetsk oblast. Among them, 225 people came due to mandatory evacuation.

A farewell was held in the Holy Assumption Cathedral of the OCU of Poltava for fallen soldiers Serhii Shebeda and Volodymyr Naumenko.

Mykolaiv oblast
At night, five Shahed-type UAVs and various types of decoy drones were shot down or suppressed in the region.
Yesterday, the enemy attacked Kutsurub, Ochakiv, and Halytsynove communities ten times with FPV drones. The enemy also launched four artillery strikes on Kutsurub community. As a result of the shelling, a power line was damaged in the village of Dniprovske. In addition, a car was destroyed in the town of Lupareve. No casualties were reported.
Denmark launched the largest aid program in its history – the Ukraine Transition Programme (UTP), with a budget of 375 million euros. Yesterday, 23 September the russian forces attacked Sadove, Antonivka, Komyshany, Prydniprovske, Naddniprianske, Bilozerka, Doslidne, Yantarne, Kizomys, Veletenske, Dniprovske, Novodmytrivka, Chereshenky, Stanislav, Oleksandrivka, Sofiivka, Shyroka Balka, Poniativka, Mykilske, Tokarivka, Beryslav, Zmiivka, Tomaryne, Novoraisk, Kostyrka, Chervonyi Maiak, Novovorontsovka, Shevchenkivka, Osokorivka, Zolota Balka, Novooleksandrivka, Burhunka, Odradokamianka, Lvove, Mykolaivka, Mylove, Respublikanets, Vesele, and the city of Kherson. Seven private houses, cell towers, utility buildings, private garages, and cars were damaged. Eight people were injured as a result of russian attacks.

According to the General Staff, as of 16:00 on 24 September, Ukrainian forces repelled two enemy attacks, and another battle is ongoing towards Kherson.

Lviv oblast
Andrejs Pildegovics, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Latvia to Ukraine, arrived in Lviv oblast on his 1st working visit. They discussed key areas of cooperation between Lviv oblast and Latvia.
In Lviv oblast, 20 veterans and military personnel with various injuries took part in the 2nd 10-day rehabilitation and sports camp of the League of the Invincibles. Classes were held at the Western Rehabilitation and Sports Center in the village of Yavoriv.
The Angels of the Armed Forces of Ukraine CF raised funds for a car that will serve medics on the front line. Volunteer, mother of the fallen Hero Natalia Palenychka, raised UAH 300,000, which was used to purchase a pickup truck for the defenders in Zaporizhzhia region and also raised funds for a T4 bus.
Rivne oblast
Training for IDPs aged 60+ has started in Rivne oblast. The 1st training on psychological support for older internally displaced persons was held at Rivne Resilience Center. The program includes 5 meetings.
Ternopil oblast
Ternopil City Council held a meeting with Felix Baumann, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Swiss Confederation to Ukraine. They discussed deepening cooperation between Ternopil oblast and Switzerland.
Khmelnytskyi oblast
Khmelnytskyi community sent 30 generators, over 5,700 units of thermal clothing and 1,000 units of special food to the military thanks to the city of Siauliai (Lithuania).
Chernivtsi oblast
Kitsman community sent 2 motorcycles to the Military Unit 3113 of the National Guard of Ukraine. The new equipment will improve the mobility and efficiency of the military.
