Since the beginning of the day, there have been 83 combat clashes on the frontline. Our defenders are halting the enemy, holding the lines, and disrupting Russian plans.
Throughout the day, the enemy launched artillery strikes from the territory of the Russian Federation on areas of the settlements of Bachivsk and Stara Huta in Sumy oblast, and Bleshnia in Chernihiv oblast.
In the Northern Sloboda and Kursk directions, Ukrainian defenders repelled five enemy attacks, while three clashes are still ongoing. The enemy carried out five airstrikes, dropped 15 guided aerial bombs, and conducted 103 artillery shellings, including seven with multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Southern Sloboda direction, since the beginning of the day, the Defense Forces repelled five enemy attacks, while two clashes are still ongoing. The enemy is attacking near Vovchansk, Vovchanski Khutory, and toward Odradne and Kutkivka.
In the Kupiansk direction, our soldiers successfully stopped two enemy offensive actions in the areas of Kupiansk and Pishchane.
In the Lyman direction, there were eight combat clashes near the settlements of Olhivka, Novoyehorivka, Hrekivka, Stavky, Shandryholove, Derylove, Torske, and Zarichne. Three clashes are still ongoing.
In the Siversk direction, two clashes are ongoing near Serebrianka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, our defenders repelled four enemy attacks near Stupochky.
In the Toretsk direction, the invaders attacked 12 times in the areas of Pleshchiivka, Berestok, Katerynivka, Kleban-Byk, Rusyn Yar, Poltavka, and toward Stepanivka; currently, fighting is ongoing in three locations.
In the Pokrovsk direction, 32 clashes of varying intensity began during the day near the settlements of Nykanorivka, Zolotyi Kolodiaz, Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Novoekonomichne, Myroliubivka, Promin, Myrnohrad, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, and Dachne. Six clashes are still ongoing.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the aggressor attempted to advance eight times in the areas of Filiia, Sichneve, Shevchenko, Sosnivka, Novoivanivka, and Ternove. Three clashes are still ongoing.
In the Hulyaipole, Orikhiv, and Prydniprovsk directions, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations but carried out airstrikes on Zaporizhzhia and Zaliznychne in Zaporizhzhia oblast, as well as L’vove and Mykolaivka in Kherson oblast.
Ukrainian forces are exhausting the enemy along the entire frontline and in the rear.
The government has approved changes to the procedure for granting the status of a child affected by war and armed conflict. The list of grounds for granting this status has now been expanded. It includes deportation or forced displacement, the death or disappearance of one or both parents due to war, as well as other cases of a child being deprived of parental care as a result of hostilities and armed conflict. The status can now be obtained not only at the place of internal displacement, but also at the place of application or at the location where the child is identified by local executive authorities or local self-government bodies.
The government has allocated UAH 11.2 billion for the arrangement of shelters. A total of 645 schools in Ukraine do not have shelters. More than 11,000 schools, which is 90%, do have shelters. This was reported by Minister of Education Oksen Lisovyi.

Kharkiv oblast
Frontline
In the Southern Slobozhanske direction, since the beginning of the day, the Defense Forces have repelled five Russian assaults, while two battles were still ongoing as of 16:00. The occupiers attacked near Vovchansk, Vovchanski Khutory, and toward Odradne and Kutkivka.
In the Kupiansk direction, the Defense Forces stopped two Russian army attacks in the areas of Kupiansk and Pishchane.
In the Lyman direction, Russians carried out assaults, including toward Olhivka.
During the past day, 156 combat clashes were recorded.
In the Southern Slobozhanske direction, the enemy attempted 13 times to break through the defensive lines of our defenders in the areas of Vovchansk, Tyke, Zapadne, and toward Odradne.
In the Kupiansk direction yesterday, there were six enemy attacks. Our defenders repelled assault actions in the areas of Stepova Novoselivka, Nova Kruhliaivka, and Kupiansk.
In northern Kharkiv region, the number of Russian attacks is increasing. Representatives of brigades defending this territory describe the situation as tense but stable.
The railway system of Kupiansk and Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi connects the right bank of the Oskil with the left, which is why Russians are trying to gain control over these settlements, according to Ivan Tymochko, head of the Council of Reservists of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Shelling
Around 16:00, a Russian FPV drone attacked a civilian car in Prud’ianka, reported Viacheslav Zadorenko, head of the Derhachi community. As a result, the vehicle sustained multiple damages, but the driver was unharmed.
At 14:20, Russians struck the village of Perovske in the Zolochiv community with FPV drones, reported its head Viktor Kovalenko. The strikes caused a fire. A private house and a barn were destroyed, farm buildings and power lines were damaged. At 16:30, another FPV drone strike hit Ivashky, destroying a private house and damaging farm buildings and power networks.
In the village of Novomykolaivka, Shevchenkiv community, a Russian drone struck a civilian car that had broken down in a field. Two men, aged 37 and 35, were injured, the Kharkiv police press service reported.
During the past day, seven settlements of Kharkiv oblast came under enemy strikes. As a result of shelling, one person was killed and five were injured.
In the village of Borova, a 47-year-old man was killed, and two men, aged 52 and 60, were injured. In the settlement of Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi of the Kupiansk community, a 72-year-old man was injured. In the village of Novomykolaivka, Shevchenkiv community, two men, aged 37 and 35, were injured.
In addition, as a result of an explosion of an unknown object in Kupiansk, a 45-year-old woman was injured. She triggered the device on the steps of a local school. Police evacuated her and handed her over to medics.
The enemy actively used various types of weapons against Kharkiv oblast:

▪️5 Shahed-136/“Geran-2” type drones;
▪️2 FPV drones.
Civilian infrastructure was damaged and destroyed:
▪️In Kupiansk district: an apartment building (settlement of Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi), a private house (village of Velykyi Burluk), a car (village of Novomykolaivka);
▪️In Izium district: a car (village of Borova);
▪️In Chuhuiv district: a lyceum (village of Pilna).
In Kupiansk, Russian servicemen fired from an automatic rifle at a civilian man riding a bicycle, according to the regional prosecutor’s office. Hearing shots and feeling pain, the man hid in reeds, from where he saw the Russians. He managed to reach a nearby street, where he received first aid, and the following day he was evacuated.

Also, a 62-year-old man sought medical attention after being wounded in shelling in the village of Hlushkivka, Kurylivka community, on September 19.
Between September 15–21, at least seven people were killed in Kharkiv oblast due to Russian strikes, five of them in Kupiansk. Nineteen residents of Kharkiv region were wounded in Russian attacks, and four more experienced acute stress reactions.
Other
A transit evacuation point in Lozova received 114 people in one day. Fifty-five people remain there. Since the point began operating, 3,840 people have been registered.
840 million UAH have been allocated for the protection of Kharkiv region’s energy facilities, announced Ukrainian government head Yuliia Svyrydenko. The funds from the state budget’s reserve will be directed to the Kharkiv Regional State Administration for building protective structures at power substations.
A residential building in Kharkiv’s Industrialnyi district, which was hit by five Shaheds on August 18, will be demolished, the city council reported. An inspection revealed the building is beyond repair. It has completely lost its economic value, suffered critical damage to load-bearing and enclosing structures, and poses a risk of collapse. The estimated level of destruction exceeds 81%.
Donetsk oblast
Frontline
Russian occupiers attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 21 times in the Lyman direction on September 21. They struck in the areas of Hrekivka, Novomykhailivka, Shandryholove, Kolodiazi, Torske, and Novoselivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces carried out 49 assaults, and in the Novopavlivka direction, the occupiers attacked 20 times.
The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue clearing operations in the Dobropillia direction. Over the past day, they regained control over 1.3 km² and conducted search-and-destroy operations against Russian forces on 2.1 km² in Pokrovsk district, Donetsk oblast, Commander-in-Chief Syrskyi reported. Assault units advanced from 200 meters to 2.5 km in certain areas.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces have changed tactics. Occupiers are attempting to infiltrate settlements near Pokrovsk held by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in small groups, while increasing the number of assaults to cut off logistics, the press service of the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces reported.
Ukrainian troops destroyed a Russian tank and two infantry fighting vehicles with FPV drones near Yablunivka in the Kostiantynivka direction.
Shelling
On September 22, Russian forces shelled the settlement of Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka and the city of Kostiantynivka in Donetsk oblast. As a result, two women and two men were wounded, one of whom later died in the hospital, reported prosecutor’s office spokeswoman Anastasiia Medvedieva.
On August 22, Russian forces struck a minibus with a Lancet-3 drone in the Kramatorsk community, Donetsk oblast, wounding three people, the local administration reported.
On September 22, Russian occupiers hit Malotaranivka in the Kramatorsk community with two Shahed drones. Capital buildings of a specialized school and a power line were damaged. The blast wave also damaged windows and roofs in about thirty private houses, reported the Kramatorsk city council press service.
Russian occupiers dropped FAB-250 bombs on Kostiantynivka, injuring one person and damaging seven apartment buildings, reported Serhii Horbunov, head of Kostiantynivka city administration.
During the night of September 22, Russian occupiers struck an educational institution in a private sector of Kramatorsk with a drone, reported Kramatorsk administration head Honcharenko.
At 02:07, Russia hit the village of Malotaranivka in Kramatorsk district with two Geran-2 drones, damaging an educational facility.

On 21 September, the police recorded 2,450 enemy strikes along the front line and in residential areas.
Eleven settlements came under fire: the cities of Dobropillia, Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk, Lyman, Sloviansk; the urban-type settlement of Yampil; and the villages of Levadne, Orikhuvatka, Raiske, Rubtsi, and Sofiivka.
Thirty-six civilian facilities were damaged, including 22 residential buildings.
In Kostiantynivka, Russian forces carried out 9 strikes – killing four civilians and injuring another four. Seven apartment buildings, nine private houses, a shopping center, a store, an outbuilding, and a civilian vehicle were damaged.
Three people were injured in Yampil, and a civilian vehicle was damaged.
One person was injured in Raiske, and a civilian vehicle was damaged.
FPV drone attacks in Kramatorsk damaged a private house, an outbuilding, and a car; in Sloviansk, a private house was damaged. In Orikhuvatka of the Mykolaiv territorial community, a private house and a civilian vehicle were damaged.
In Lyman, two private houses were destroyed; in Rubtsi, a private house and an outbuilding were damaged.
The Oleksandrivska community was also hit: in Levadne, an agricultural facility was damaged, and in Sofiivka, a business was hit.
In Dobropillia, Russian forces dropped a KAB-250 bomb, damaging a non-residential building.
The damage caused by land pollution from debris following the Russian drone strike on Dobropillia on 17 August this year amounts to over 15.5 million hryvnias, according to the State Environmental Inspectorate of Donetsk Oblast. On that day, a multi-storey building was destroyed, school and tax office buildings were damaged. One person was killed and three others were injured.

From the Kostiantynivka community in Donetsk Oblast, the city council evacuated 11 more residents on 22 September, and the humanitarian mission “Proliska” reported the evacuation of another 13 people on the same day, according to the Military-Civil Administration and the head of “Proliska” in Donetsk, Yevhen Tkachov. Additionally, according to the regional State Emergency Service, this past weekend the “Phoenix” rescue team evacuated nine more people.

Luhansk oblast
The enemy once again attempted to advance in the Hrekivka area, where Ukrainian Defenders are bravely holding the line. Overall, along the Lyman sector of the front, Russian forces conducted 21 assaults yesterday. They also attacked three times in the Siversk direction.
Residents of occupied Luhansk are being offered to exchange the recently banned satellite equipment—prohibited by the so-called “LPR” governor—which could be tuned not only to Russian propaganda channels, for a “Russian World” package. The package will include 20 mandatory pro-Kremlin TV channels. In other words, people will only be able to watch what the Russian authorities allow. Those who refuse the exchange will have their satellite TV systems forcibly dismantled starting 1 November.
In Sievierodonetsk, construction companies involved in showpiece restoration projects are shifting responsibility for poor-quality repairs onto the local housing maintenance office, which holds each apartment building on its balance. The housing authorities, in turn, refuse to fix the defects caused by the itinerant builders. The occupation authorities have not intervened in the process of finding those responsible.
The Defense Forces destroyed a Russian ammunition depot in occupied Bohdanivka in Luhansk and a UAV distribution logistics point containing 19,000 drones of various types. This was reported on 22 September by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on their Facebook page.
What is happening now in the north of Ukraine
Kyiv oblast
The Regional Military Administration reported that as a result of an overnight enemy strike in Boryspil region, a man born in 1993 sustained a shrapnel wound to his shoulder. The consequences of russia’s drone attacks were recorded in five regions of Kyiv oblast.
In Boryspil region, a fire in a private house was extinguished. Five more houses were damaged, windows were shattered in a four-storey building, and vehicles were damaged. In the most affected house, tragedy was averted as the family managed to take shelter in the basement in time, escaping unharmed together with their pet cat.
In Obukhiv region, windows were damaged in an uninhabited apartment block.
In Fastiv region, a fire in a private house was extinguished.
In Vyshhorod region, a forest fire was extinguished.
In Brovary region, a communications tower was damaged.
In Boryspil, an apartment and a private house caught fire; both housing and vehicles were damaged. A man born in 1993 was injured. In Mala Oleksandrivka, a fire broke out in a private house.


Representatives of the French Embassy recently visited Fastiv to present developments under the “ReFastiv” project. The city was also visited by Belgian Ambassador Luc Jacobs, with discussions focusing on the prospects of building bomb shelters.
In central Kyiv, residents of Mariupol gathered to honour all those who were killed in their home city. They also created a memorial installation, bringing keys from their former homes in Mariupol.
Zhytomyr oblast
Almost UAH 1.3m. worth of environmental damage was caused by a fire in Velydnytske forestry in Korosten region, triggered by enemy shelling on 3 September 2025. The State Environmental Inspectorate of the Polissia Region calculated the losses from unregulated emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere as a result of the fire. The burning released 198 tonnes of carbon dioxide into the air.
Two more groups have completed training at Zhytomyr Oblast Centre for National Resistance. On 20 September, final tactical and drill exercises were held at Zhytomyr Oblast Training Centre for Citizens’ National Resistance for nearly 30 participants – both men and women – who underwent a 48-hour training course.
Sumy oblast
On the morning of 22 September the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that towards Northern Sloboda and Kursk, Ukrainian forces repelled six attacks over the past day. Enemy troops carried out 14 airstrikes, using 34 guided bombs, and conducted 165 attacks, including 11 by multiple launch rocket systems.
Acting Mayor Artem Kobzar informed that as a result of shelling of an industrial facility in Sumy on 22 September, a security guard was injured and property was damaged. The facility was struck by two drones. A nearby residential building was also hit.
According to the Regional Military Administration, a russian overnight drone strike on Sumy damaged 13 buildings, including a school, a kindergarten, a shop, and 10 apartment blocks. More than 450 windows and around 180 balcony frames and doors were shattered. Two people sought medical assistance.
Between the morning of 21 September and the morning of 22 September 2025, russian forces carried out 129 attacks on 54 settlements in 19 local communities of the oblast. The largest number of strikes was recorded in Sumy and Shostka regions. The enemy actively used guided aerial bombs (over 20 GAB strikes), UAV strikes (over 10 strikes), dropped VOG grenades from drones (10 strikes), and also carried out FPV-drone and missile strikes.
Consequences of russian attacks in Sumy oblast as of the morning of 22 September:
- In Shalyhyne community, a 63-year-old man was injured by an FPV-drone strike; a private car was destroyed.
- In Bilopillia community, a private household, a car, and a tractor were damaged.
- In Seredyna-Buda community, a private household was destroyed.
- In Richky community, a private household was damaged.
- In Sumy community, a 63-year-old man was injured in a drone strike; non-residential premises, educational facilities, apartment buildings, and private cars were damaged.
Chernihiv oblast
The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported that over the past day, 21 September, border guards of the 105th detachment in Chernihiv oblast destroyed two russian “Herbera” drones.
Viacheslav Chaus, Head of the Regional Military Administration said that in total, the enemy shelled 18 settlements in Chernihiv oblast and carried out 54 strikes. In one community of Nizhyn region, the enemy struck a critical infrastructure facility, injuring two firefighters who were hospitalised. During the day, Chernihiv was hit by drone strikes that damaged an infrastructure facility.
Chernihiv Border Detachment informed that throughout 21 September, russian forces attacked three border communities in Chernihiv oblast: Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka and Snovsk. The enemy carried out mortar and artillery shelling, used FPV-drones, and dropped explosive devices from UAVs.
According to Chernihiv Regional Police, police explosives experts neutralised two downed russian drones that failed to detonate in Nizhyn and Koriukivka regions.
In Chernihiv oblast, representatives of small and medium-sized businesses whose property was damaged as a result of russia’s armed aggression will be able to receive one-time financial assistance from the regional budget to partially cover the cost of damage assessments. The “Programme for the Development of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises for 2021–2027” provides compensation of 50% of expenses, but not more than UAH 50,000.
Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
Air defence forces were active in the oblast, with defenders destroying 10 enemy drones.
From evening until morning, russian attacks on Nikopol region continued. The occupiers struck by drones and artillery, targeting the regional centre, Myrove, Marhanets and Pokrovske communities. In Nikopol, a private house was damaged. In Pokrovskale community, house and an outbuilding were hit. According to updated information, yesterday’s attacks in Nikopol damaged a high-rise building and 3 private houses. Synelnykove region was targeted, as drones struck Pokrovske community. Fires broke out, damaging an agricultural enterprise, a private house, a summer kitchen, a garage and a car; several other vehicles were destroyed.
During the day, the russian military launched a missile strike on Pavlohrad region. A 69-year-old man and a 62-year-old woman were injured. Fires broke out and a car was damaged. Nearly 35 further attacks were carried out on Nikopol region, where drones and artillery struck the regional centre, Chervonohryhorivka, Myrove, Marhanets and Pokrovske communities. Fires broke out, damaging 3 private houses, enterprises, an outbuilding, a shelter, a garage, a car, infrastructure facilities, a gas pipeline and power lines. Synelnykove region came under attack. The russian forces struck Malomykhailivka, Slovianka and Brahynivka communities by a missile, drones and guided aerial bombs. Fires broke out, damaging agricultural enterprises.
Vinnytsia oblast
Mayor Serhii Morhunov reported that Vinnytsia oblast continues to support the Armed Forces by providing 400 fiber-optic FPV drones and 8 pickup trucks. The aid is primarily directed to Vinnytsia brigades deployed on the most intense sections of the frontline: the 59th Separate Assault Brigade named after Yakiv Handziuk, the 120th Separate Territorial Defence Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 131st Separate Reconnaissance Battalion named after Colonel Yevhen Konovalets.
Kirovohrad oblast
Olena Nazarenko, Head of the Social Protection Department of Oleksandriia City Council, informed that on 19 September, 14 displaced persons from Dobropillia and Myrnohrad in Donetsk oblast were resettled in 3 kindergartens in Oleksandriia, Kirovohrad oblast. Among the evacuees are 2 children born in 2013, 1 person with limited mobility and 1 person with a severe disability. Each month, they will receive UAH 2,000 in housing support, while children and persons with disabilities will receive UAH 3,000.
Poltava oblast
A memorial ceremony was held at the Holy Dormition Cathedral of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine in Poltava for servicemen Serhii Morozov and Viacheslav Dobroshtan. Serhii Morozov was killed on 22 January 2025, while carrying out assigned duties in kursk region, russia. Viacheslav Dobroshtan was killed on 29 November 2023, while performing a combat mission in Zaporizhzhia oblast.
Cherkasy oblast
In Cherkasy, a funeral was held for soldier Serhii Radchenko, who was killed near Biliakivka village in Synelnykove region of Dnipropetrovsk oblast as a result of artillery shelling.
Officer Oleh Bakumenko from Smila was confirmed dead. He had been considered missing since 22 May 2024. His death was verified through DNA testing on 10 September 2025. He was killed during a combat mission in Pokrovsk region of Donetsk oblast.
Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine
Zaporizhzhia oblast
On 22 September, around five in the morning, russian forces attacked the city of Zaporizhzhia. At least ten strikes hit residential areas. As a result of the attack, three people were killed and two were injured. Dozens of houses were damaged in one city’s district due to enemy shelling. According to the press service of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, the building of the Shevchenkivskyi Department of the State Registration of Civil Status Acts (DRACS) was damaged as a result of the russian massive airstrike.

Yesterday, 21 September, the occupiers executed 624 strikes across 15 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast. russian forces conducted 12 airstrikes on Zaporizhzhia, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, and Olhivske. 402 UAVs of various types (mostly FPV) attacked Kushuhum, Osetrivka, Yurkivka, Plavni, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Olhivske, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Novoandriivka, and Bilohirya. Five rocket attacks from MLRS were carried out on Plavni, Novodanylivka, and Olhivske. 205 artillery strikes were carried out on Plavni, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Novoandriivka, and Preobrazhenka. Six reports about damage to private houses, vehicles, and non-residential buildings were received. Two people were killed and two were injured as a result of russian aggression.
Mykolaiv oblast
At night, air defense forces in the region shot down or suppressed eight Shahed-type UAVs and various types of drone imitators.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out 14 attacks with FPV drones on Kutsurub, Halytsynove, and Ochakiv communities. As a result, a power line was damaged in the village of Dmytrivka. A fire broke out, and a private house was damaged in Solonchaky. A summer house and a car were destroyed in the village of Lupareve. A vehicle was damaged in Lymany. There were no casualties.
Kherson oblast
On 22 September, around 09:00, russian forces shelled Kherson with artillery. As a result of the attack, a woman in a yard was killed.
Around 13:00, russian forces attacked Novovorontsovka with a drone. A 52-year-old man suffered a concussion, leg burns, and explosive and closed head injuries.
At approximately 12:30, russian forces attacked a woman in the village of Novoraisk with a drone. A 59-year-old local woman sustained injuries to her face, back, and arms, a concussion, and explosive and closed head injuries.
Around 11:00, a man stepped on a russian “petal” mine in Dniprovskyi district of Kherson. The 58-year-old man suffered an explosive injury and shrapnel wound to his leg.
A resident of Bilozerska sought medical help after being injured in a russian attack on 19 September. The 61-year-old woman was hit in her yard and sustained an explosive injury and concussion.
Medical assistance was needed for a resident of Bilozerka who was attacked by a russian drone on the evening of 20 September. The 57-year-old man suffered an explosive injury, concussion, and head trauma.
A resident of Bilozerka who was injured during a russian shelling on 17 September was hospitalized with an explosive injury and concussion.
On 21 September, the russian army again attacked Kherson and settlements in Kherson and Beryslav regions. The attacks affected Kherson, Prydniprovske, Bilozerska, Antonivka, Sadove, Kizomys, Inhulets, Sofiiivka, Doslidne, Shyroka Balka, Poniativka, Mykilske, Nadiivka, Berehove, Stanislav, Blahovishchenske, Beryslav, Mylove, Zolota Balka, Novoraisk, Sukhanove, Monastyrske, Dudchany, Novovorontsovka, Zaporizhzhia, Mala Oleksandrivka, Arkhanhelske, and Tomaryne. Thirty-two objects were damaged: three apartment buildings, 19 private houses, an administrative building, two kindergartens, two cars, a garage, two utility structures, and a gas pipeline. Two people were injured in the russian shelling.

Volyn oblast
Volyn Military Medical Service reported that in the oblast, military personnel and veterans receive medical rehabilitation assistance in all areas of the medical guarantees program.
Zakarpattia oblast
The Department of Social Policy of Uzhhorod City Council organized another retreat for mothers and wives of fallen defenders. The Healing Through Art art therapy provided a sense of unity and support.
Ivano-Frankivsk oblast
A charity basketball tournament was held in Ivano-Frankivsk. All proceeds from the event went to electronic warfare for soldiers of the 10th Edelweiss Brigade.
Lviv oblast
The 18th resilience center has already started operating in Sambir. It was opened on the basis of the Center for Social Services.
The Drohobych-934 FM music festival was held in Drohobych on City Day. The raised over UAH 1.6m was donated to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In Shehynivska community, the concert We Believe, We Support, We Help, We Win raised UAH 5,760. Women from Sudova Vyshna have already made 34 camouflage nets and in Mostyski – 9 more. In Staryi Yar, housewives baked hundreds of pies, baked bread and other goodies, which were sent to the front.
Rivne oblast
Rivne oblast received 366 people on evacuation trains in August and September of this year. All arrived from Donetsk region. They were placed in communities of Rivne and Dubno regions. During this period, 25 evacuation trains have already arrived. And the evacuation process is ongoing.
Ternopil oblast
The RMA held a meeting with representatives of the Ukrainian-American Veterans Association. They discussed issues of medical and psychological rehabilitation, retraining and education, cultural exchange, employment and support for veteran businesses.
A new veteran sports team, Steel Wolves, has appeared in Ternopil. They play petanque. The team took part in the All-Ukrainian tournament in Lviv for the 1st time.
Khmelnytskyi oblast
Khmelnytskyi community donated 20 DJI MATRICE 4T units worth UAH 3.4m to the military.
Chernivtsi oblast
The RMA reported that Chernivtsi said goodbye to Maksym Pozhydaiev, Junior Sergeant of the Military Unit A0998, who was killed while performing a combat mission in Donetsk oblast.
International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)
Luc Frieden, Prime Minister of Luxembourg, announced that the country will join the PURL (NATO Prioritised Ukraine Requirements List) initiative, which provides for the purchase of weapons from the United States by NATO countries for transfer to Ukraine.
Thomas Rainier, European Commission Spokesman, announced that Slovakia and Hungary were not invited to the EU meeting on the Drone Wall. The meeting will take place on 26 September, and 7 EU member states will be present: Estonia, Latvia, Finland, Lithuania, Poland, Romania and Bulgaria. Ukraine has also received an invitation.
