By the end of the year, the Regional Military Administration plans to complete the construction of 38 underground schools. Starting September 1, 256 educational institutions in the region will operate offline or in a mixed format. This means that more than 50,000 children – a quarter of all schoolchildren in Kharkiv region – will have the opportunity to study at their desks.
Donetsk oblast

Starting gradually back in June, in the so-called “LNR,” the population has been prepared for yet another increase in utility tariffs. First, an increase in waste collection fees was announced. Later, a new tariff for centralized water supply was introduced. Prices for gas and electricity supply were also revised. Now it is the turn of heating tariffs, which are expected to rise by 24%. It should be noted that in the occupied Luhansk region, several tariffs are revised every six months.
In Khrustalnyi, a critical situation has developed with centralized water supply. It is worth noting that the city’s infrastructure and housing stock were not damaged during the occupation in 2014. However, for all eleven years, no attention has been paid to communal problems. Over the past year, water in Khrustalnyi has been supplied for only four hours a day. In August, in large parts of the city, water appears in taps just once every four days, and its quality resembles technical rather than drinking water.
