Towards Pokrovsk, russian occupiers made 41 attempts to push Ukrainian soldiers from the occupied positions in the areas of the settlements of Shakhove, Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Novoekonomichne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novomykolaivka, Dachne, Filiia and towards the settlements of Nove Shakhove, Myrnograd, Hryshyne and Novopavlivka. The defense forces are holding back the onslaught and repelled 30 attacks.
Towards Oleksandrivka, there were 20 failed assaults by enemy troops in the vicinity of the settlements of Andriivka-Klevtsove, Yalta, Sichneve, Vorone, Stepove, Verbove, Pryvilne and towards Oleksiivka.
Towards Huliaipole, the aggressor tried three times to advance on the positions of our troops, near Rivnopillia and Zatyshshia, one clash is ongoing.

Frontline
There were 173 combat clashes in the oblast.
Towards Southern Sloboda, the Defense Forces repelled six enemy attacks in the vicinity of Synelnykove, Vovchansk and towards Kolodiazne.
Towards Kupiansk, there were six attacks by the occupiers. The Defense Forces repelled enemy assault actions in the vicinity of Kupiansk and towards Pishchane and Novoplatonivka.
Shelling
In the Lozivska community, critical infrastructure was damaged as a result of the Russian attack, the head of the community, Serhiy Zelensky, reported. Currently, 15 settlements are without electricity.
Over the past 24 hours, the city of Kharkiv and 5 settlements of the Kharkiv region were subjected to enemy strikes.
A 68-year-old woman was injured as a result of shelling in the village of Katerynivka, Velykyi Burluk community.
The enemy attacked a UAV in Slobodskyi district of Kharkiv.

Donetsk oblast
Frontline
russian troops attacked 23 times towards Kostiantynivka in the vicinity of the settlements of Oleksandro-Shultyne, Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Kleban-Byk, Yablunivka, Rusyn Yar and Sofiivka.
Towards Pokrovsk, Ukrainian defenders stopped 59 assaults, towards Sloviansk – 15, towards Lyman – 10.
The information of the russian federation about the complete occupation of Yampol and the capture of 70% of Pokrovsk does not correspond to reality.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine says that Ukrainian military continues to search for and eliminate russian occupiers, combat operations continue.
Dmitro Zaporozhets, Spokesman for the 11th Army Corps, says that in Donetsk oblast, the russian military is trying to bypass Yampil and move towards the settlement of Lyman, storming Siversk and blocking the logistics of Chasiv Yar with FPV drones. They are also preparing to use armored vehicles.
The agent of the movement ATESH in the 110th motorized rifle brigade of the Armed Forces of the russian federation reported that mobilizers from the occupied Luhansk oblast have begun to arrive at the unit. They are immediately sent to storm Pokrovsk without any training.
According to him, at least four servicemen have already left the unit voluntarily, having learned about participation in the so-called “meat” storms, where units survive.
The defense forces hold the designated lines in the northern part of Pokrovsk and control positions south of the railway. Ukrainian defenders are increasing their own grouping, in particular the number of UAV crews, to counteract the advance of russian troops and conduct “sweeps” in the city.

Towards Pokrovsk, in the area of responsibility of the 117th brigade, the Ukrainian military noted a change in the tactics of the russian army. If earlier the russian military used mechanized assaults, now attacks by small infantry groups – two, three, and sometimes single exits – prevail. This leads to an increase in shooting battles, which complicates the work of Ukrainian units, – said the spokeswoman of the 117th OVMB Yulia Stepaniuk. The activity of drones, in particular FPV on fiber optics, which the Russian military uses to strike positions and logistics routes, has significantly increased.
Shelling
Anastasia Medvedeva, Spokeswoman of the prosecutor’s office, says that on November 21, russian troops using the Lancet UAV struck the village of Holubivka of Oleksandrivka community of Kramatorsk region. One person was killed during the shelling.
Vadym Lyakh, Head of the RMA, reports that on November 21, russian troops shelled the city of Sloviansk. They used the Italmas UAV for the attack. As a result, railway infrastructure facilities, an administrative building, and a car were damaged. There were no injuries or deaths during this shelling.
As a result of the shelling of Kramatorsk on November 20 from 11:30 p.m. to 11:40 p.m., 11 apartment buildings, an educational institution, an administrative building, a sports facility, cafes, and shops were damaged.

Over 1,000 residents remain in Dobropillia. The White Angel police unit saves lives under fire. This time, in addition to people, the police evacuated a dog that was hiding in an abandoned house. The White Angels evacuated the wounded, sick, and disabled residents from Kostyantynivka, as well as the bodies of deceased residents. During the last flight, the russian military struck a residential area: two shells destroyed a five-story building. There are dead and wounded, the Donetsk region police said.
Activists of the public resistance movement “Yellow Ribbon” from the temporarily occupied territories, in particular, Donetsk, congratulated all Ukrainians on the Day of Dignity and Freedom, which is celebrated in Ukraine on November 21. Participants in the action distributed pro-Ukrainian leaflets and yellow ribbons.
Luhansk oblast
In Kalynove, Luhansk oblast, the GUR forces and the resistance movement eliminated four Russian occupiers and destroyed their cars – an UAZ and a buggy.
The Security Service of Ukraine in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts reports that the so-called “military commissar” and the head of the “Novoaidar municipal region of the LPR” were notified in absentia of suspicion of organizing forced mobilization in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk oblast.
The invaders made 25 attempts to break through our defense line towards Lyman and Sloviansk. In Luhansk oblast, they stormed near Novoiehorivka and Hrekivka. There, their attacks are being repelled by Ukrainian soldiers. On the specified section of the front, the enemy mainly uses artillery installations and FPV drones.
The staff of drivers of Luganskmisktrans, which carries out passenger transportation in the so-called “lpr”, is only 30% complete. Men do not go there to work because they know that they will be forcibly mobilized. The “bring a friend” campaign, which was undoubtedly coordinated with the russian military registration and enlistment office, is ineffective. 300 drivers are invited to work at once. Due to a lack of personnel, only half of the available rolling stock is going on flights.
Careful checks on the border between the “lpr” and russia continue. For more than three years, the occupiers have promised to simplify travel to the territory of the russian rederation and vice versa for local residents. However, the checking of documents, inspection of vehicles and belongings from time to time becomes even more thorough. Queues for many hours form at checkpoints.

Kyiv oblast
According to DTEK, In Kyiv and oblast emergency power cuts were introduced on 20 November from 3 p.m.. After 5 p.m., the emergency power cuts were cancelled in the capital. Subsequently, oblast also returned to its scheduled power supply. The emergency power cuts were implemented due to the difficult situation in the country’s energy system.
Rescue workers from the State Emergency Service eliminated the consequences of an enemy strike on 14 November in the Bucha district. The strike completely destroyed the roof of a two-storey house and caused a fire inside. Throughout the day, specialists from the Special Purpose Emergency Rescue Unit dismantled dangerous elements using heavy special equipment and special gear.
Several animals were injured at the Kyiv Zoo as a result of russian shelling of the city on 14 November. That night, the blast wave hit part of the zoo, damaging windows and structures. A spurred tortoise and a caiman crocodile suffered minor injuries and were immediately treated. A miniature Asian deer, Mo the muntjac, suffered a serious head injury with a broken lower jaw. Thanks to timely surgery and professional veterinary care, the deer’s life was saved. He is currently undergoing rehabilitation.
Zhytomyr oblast
Ten servicemen from the Zhytomyr 95th Airborne Assault Brigade received awards for their participation in assault operations. The brigade noted that assault operations in the war for independence require maximum endurance, and paratroopers operate ‘at the limits of human capabilities.’
In the second half of November, specialists from the regional centre for training citizens for national resistance began training local residents in Zviahel. The group of cadets consists of state and municipal employees, medical workers and educators. They have a busy week of training ahead of them, with two field trips.
Sumy oblast
The State Emergency Service of Sumy oblast reported that in the evening of 20 November, russian forces attacked an agricultural enterprise in Lebedyn community by a UAV. Non-residential premises and agricultural machinery were damaged.
On the morning of 21 November the Regional Military Administration informed that as a result of a russian UAV strike on Krasnopillia community on 19 November, two civilian men aged 47 and 49 were killed.
On the evening of 19 November in Okhtyrka, a russian drone struck a vehicle service station and damaged a soy storage facility. According to the State Emergency Service in Sumy oblast, the strike caused a fire covering more than 150 square metres. Firefighters fully extinguished the blaze at around 10:50pm. No injuries were reported.
Between the morning of 20 November and the morning of 21 November, russian forces carried out more than 40 attacks on 24 settlements across 14 territorial communities of the oblast. The highest number of strikes was recorded in Sumy and Shostka regions. The enemy used guided aerial bombs, UAVs and FPV drones. Air raid alerts in the oblast lasted a total of 15 hours and 5 minutes.
Civilian infrastructure was damaged or destroyed:
- in Khotin community, a private residential house was destroyed;
- in Lebedyn community, non-residential premises were damaged;
- in Vorozhba community, non-residential premises were damaged;
- in Znob-Novhorodske community, a private residential house and surrounding property were damaged;
- in Shalyhyne community, a private residential house and surrounding property were destroyed;
- in Hlukhiv community, a private residential house and surrounding property were destroyed;
- in Seredyna-Buda community, a private residential house and surrounding property were destroyed, and civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged.
During the day, 18 people were evacuated from border communities by local authorities in cooperation with units of the State Emergency Service, the National Police and volunteer organisations.
Chernihiv oblast
The State Emergency Service of the oblast reported that on 20 November, a fire broke out at a private household in Chernihiv region after a russian strike UAV hit the property. A local woman was injured in the strike on the residential building and received medical assistance. The house sustained damage.
Oleksandr Seliverstov, Head of Novhorod-Siverskyi Regional Military Administration, said that on 20 November, russian forces attacked Avdiivka village in Ponornytsia community by strike UAVs. A shop was hit, killing a shop assistant born in 1969. A fire broke out at the scene. A second UAV struck a private household, and a third hit a non-operational municipal facility. The enemy used “Heran” strike UAVs.
Viacheslav Chaus, Head of the RMA, on 20 November in Semenivka, an enemy UAV struck the House of Culture and an administrative building. Enemy forces also targeted an energy infrastructure facility. Energy crews are working to restore power to residents.
Also on 20 November, the enemy used a “Heran” UAV to strike another critical infrastructure facility in Korop community.
In Chernihiv region, a “Heran” UAV hit a critical infrastructure facility. In the same settlement, another drone struck a residential building, injuring a local woman who received medical assistance.
In Novhorod-Siverskyi region, a drone strike damaged a road surface.
According to Chernihiv Border Guard Detachment, on 20 November, russian forces attacked three border communities in Chernihiv oblast: Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka and Snovsk. The enemy carried out mortar attacks (10 explosions), launched “Molniia” UAVs (3 explosions) and “Herbera” UAVs (2 explosions), conducted FPV drone strikes (11 explosions), and dropped an explosive device from a UAV (1 explosion). In Semenivka town, a mobile communication tower was damaged in the UAV strikes.
Chernihiv oblast has approved the “Programme for Improving the Material and Technical Support of Military Units and Institutions Stationed and/or Performing Combat Tasks in the Oblast for 2026–2027”. The total budget amounts to UAH 800m. over two years. Funding will come from both regional and local budgets.
Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
Synelnykove region: Mykola Lukashuk, Head of the Regional Council, reported that an 84-year-old woman was killed in a UAV attack on Vasylkivka community. A 54-year-old man and a 71-year-old woman were injured. A fire broke out, burning a private house. Three private homes and an outbuilding were destroyed. Two more private houses and a minibus were damaged. In Pokrovske community, a vehicle was destroyed.
Nikopol region: From evening until morning, the enemy continued attacking the regional centre and Pokrovske and Marhanets communities by artillery and drones. In Nikopol, a private house, an outbuilding and a gas pipeline were damaged.
The enemy launched 72 attacks on the oblast today, hitting three regions.
Nikopol region: Two men, aged 66 and 64, were killed in enemy attacks; five others were injured — men aged 66, 55 and 45, as well as women aged 83 and 37. The occupiers struck the regional centre and Myrove, Marhanets, Pokrovske and Chervonohryhorivka communities by artillery and UAVs. Fires broke out, and a private house was destroyed. Four apartment buildings and seven private homes, a farm, five outbuildings, a garage, vehicles, power lines, a gas pipeline and infrastructure were damaged.
Kryvyi Rih region: The enemy struck Hrushivka and Zelenodolsk communities by UAVs, damaging infrastructure.
Pavlohrad region: The occupiers also used UAVs.
Vinnytsia oblast
In Yampil, Vinnytsia oblast, an Avenue of Fallen Heroes was opened on the Day of Dignity and Freedom. It commemorates the 22 residents of the town who were killed defending Ukraine from the russian invasion.
Kirovohrad oblast
Svitlovodsk town, Kirovohrad oblast, paid tribute to 33-year-old serviceman Ruslan Soroka, who was killed on the frontline on 12 November. He served as a medic with a repair and military battalion. He is survived by his parents, an elder brother and his girlfriend.

On 20 November, the occupiers carried out 387 strikes on 16 populated areas in Zaporizhzhia oblast. russian forces conducted 5 airstrikes on Zaporizhzhia, Mahdalynivka, Lukianivske, Huliaipole, and Ternuvate. 205 UAVs of various types (mostly FPV) attacked Chervonodniprovka, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Orikhiv, Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Yablukove, and Zelene. Six MLRS attacks hit Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Yablukove, and Zelene. There were 171 artillery strikes on Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Yablukove, and Varvarivka. Ninety reports were received about damage to homes, non-residential buildings, vehicles, and infrastructure facilities. Five people were killed and eight injured as a result of the enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia.
Today, 21 November, the russian army attacked a fire and rescue unit in Orikhiv. The rescuers were in a shelter and were not injured.
As of 16:00, 21 November, the aggressor attempted three times to advance toward the positions of Ukrainian forces near Rivnopillia and Zatyshshia towards Huliaipole; one clash is ongoing. Ukrainian defenders repelled six enemy attacks near Shcherbaky, Stepove, and Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, and Prymorske towards Orokhiv. Two more clashes are ongoing. Over the past day, 20 November, the Defense Forces repelled 14 russian attacks towards Huliaipole and Orikhiv.
Mykolaiv oblast
At night, air defense forces in the region shot down or suppressed three Shahed-type UAVs and various types of decoy drones. There were no shelling was in the Mykolaiv oblast on 20 November.
Odesa oblast
Today, 21 November, during an air attack that lasted about seven hours, Odesa oblast suffered massive strikes by enemy UAVs. Private houses, residential apartment buildings, as well as utility structures, administrative buildings, and private cars and trucks were damaged. In some cases, small fires broke out, which were promptly extinguished by rescuers. Two people were injured.

As a result of the strikes, a private residential building was partially destroyed, nearby homes were damaged, an auto-repair facility and an administrative building were hit, several cars were destroyed, and trucks were damaged. Five people were injured, including a child.
Kherson oblast
Around 17:20, russians attacked a man in Kherson with a drone. As a result of the strike, a 23-year-old resident of Kherson sustained a blast injury and shrapnel wounds to his leg.
At about 09:20, russians attacked Korabelnyi district of Kherson with a drone. Two people sustained blast injuries and concussions. At roughly the same time, russian forces attacked a vehicle belonging to one of Kherson’s utility enterprises. A 51-year-old employee suffered a concussion as well as blast and closed head injuries.
Two residents of Bilozerka sought medical help after being attacked by a drone during on 19 November. A 46-year-old woman was diagnosed with a blast injury and a concussion. A 35-year-old local woman was hospitalized with a blast injury and a concussion.
Yesterday, the russian forces attacked Bilozerka, Molodizhne, Zolota Balka, Komyshany, Kostyrka, Antonivka, Sofiivka, Dniprovske, Prydniprovske, Kizomys, Beryslav, Burhunka, Vesele, Ivanivka, Kozatske, Lvove, Mykilske, Mykolaivka, Monastyrske, Novoberyslav, Odradokamianka, Olhivka, Poniativka, and the city of Kherson. Two apartment buildings, 16 private houses, a TV and radio tower, and a gas pipeline were damaged. One person was killed and eight others were injured, including one child, due to russian aggression.

The Central Cemetery in Chernivtsi is effectively running out of available land for new burials. To avoid a situation where the city will not be able to provide the community with burial places, the Department of Urban Planning and Architecture has prepared a draft decision on expanding the cemetery for the upcoming session of the city council.
