It has been the 1239 th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm:   

On 16 July, there were 63 combat clashes on the frontline.

Communities of border settlements suffered from enemy artillery fire, specifically Bobylivka, Novodmytrivka, Oleksandrivka, Chernatske, Hudove, Seredyna-Buda, Prohres, Prokhody, Turyia and Studenok in Sumy oblast.

Towards Northern Sloboda and Kursk, there were four attacks by enemy forces. In addition, the enemy carried out six airstrikes, dropping 15 guided bombs, and also carried out 183 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements, two of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.

Towards Southern Sloboda, the Defense Forces repelled two enemy attacks near the settlement of Vovchansk.

Towards Kupiansk, russian occupiers tried to break through Ukrainian defenses near the settlement of Synkivka.

Towards Lyman, the invading army carried out 14 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian units near the settlements of Novyi Myr, Nadiia, Karpivka, Kolodiazi, Zelena Dolyna, Torske and towards Serebrianka, two clashes are ongoing.

Towards Siversk, three times the occupiers tried to advance, the aggressor was active in the vicinity of Hryhorivka and towards Vyimka.

Towards Kramatorsk, the Ukrainian defenders stopped two enemy attacks in the vicinity of Bila Hora.

Towards Toretsk, the enemy carried out four assault actions in the vicinity of Nelypivka, Toretsk and Oleksandro-Kalynove. One battle is still ongoing.

Towards Pokrovsk, russian invaders made 26 attempts to push Ukrainian defenders from the occupied positions in the vicinity of the settlements of Poltavka, Novoekonomichne, Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Novoukrainka, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Muravka and Oleksiivka. The defense forces are holding back the onslaught and repelled 21 enemy attacks, five battles are still ongoing.

Towards Novopavlivka, the enemy tried to break through the defenses of Ukrainian defenders in the vicinity of the settlements of Piddubne, Myrne, Vilne Pole and Zelene Pole. The defense forces repelled seven enemy assaults.

Towards Huliaipole, the settlement of Bilohiria was hit by airstrikes.

Towards Orikhiv, the enemy launched airstrikes on the vicinity of the settlements of Novoandriivka and Plavni.

In the remaining directions, there were no significant changes.


Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, announces that security measures are being increased in training centers for military personnel. From now on, the accumulation of personnel and military equipment, the placement of military personnel in tent camps is prohibited. New shelters, dugouts and other protective structures are being built at training locations. Additional engineering solutions are being implemented to protect soldiers who are preparing, training and recovering. 

In June, more than 120 new models of weapons and military equipment were admitted to operation in the army. The largest number on the list is: unmanned aerial systems of various types and purposes (about 50), engineering equipment, ammunition (mostly for UAVs), ground robotic complexes (more than 10). More than a hundred codified and approved models of weapons and military equipment are domestically produced.

Kharkiv oblast

Frontline

The RMA reports that towards Southern Sloboda, the Defense Forces repelled two russian attacks near the settlement of Vovchansk.

Towards Kupiansk, russian occupiers tried to break through the defense near the settlement of Synkivka.

Towards Lyman, the russian army carried out 14 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian units, in particular, near Novyi Myr.

There were 171 combat clashes.

Towards Southern Sloboda, the Defense Forces repelled seven enemy attacks near the settlements of Vovchansk, Krasne Pershe and Stroivka.

Towards Kupiansk, there were five attacks by the occupiers. The Defense Forces repelled enemy assault actions in the vicinity of the settlements of Stepova Novoselivka, Zahryzove, Pishchane and towards Kupiansk.

Shelling

Kharkiv oblast police reports that in the morning at one of the crossings in Kupiansk region, a russian FPV drone hit an emergency medical vehicle. Two medics were injured, they refused hospitalization.

The city of Kharkiv and 10 settlements of the oblast were subjected to enemy strikes.

2 people died and 5 were injured as a result of the shelling.

A 54-year-old man was injured in the city of Kharkiv; a 68-year-old man was killed in the city of Kupiansk; a 67-year-old man died in the village of Prykolotne, Vilhuvatka community, a 56-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman were injured; two 39-year-old men were injured in the village of Mala Danylivka.

The enemy attacked 16 UAVs in Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv.

The enemy actively used various types of weapons in the oblast:

▪️6 UAVs of the Shahed type;

▪️29 UAVs of the Geran-2 type;

▪️2 UAVs of the Molniya type;

▪️3 FPV drones;

▪️1 UAV of the Kub-2 type.

Civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged and destroyed:

▪️3 private houses were damaged in Kupiansk region (Prykolotne village, Myrove village);

▪️30 hectares of wheat crops were damaged in Izium region (Pidvysoke village);

▪️2 cars were damaged in Chuhuiv region (Korobochkyne village).

19 people were evacuated: 3 from Kupiansk, 16 from Borova community. As of today, 1,281 people remain in Kupiansk, 88 of whom are on the left bank. 1,671 people still reside in Borova community.

Viktoria Kytaihorodska, Director of the administrative services department of Kharkiv City Council, says that a separate center for providing administrative services was opened for IDPs in Kharkiv. More than 200,000 internally displaced persons are now officially registered in the city.

Donetsk oblast

Frontline

Vasyl Denisyuk, junior sergeant of the 66th Motorized Rifle Brigade, reports that the 66th Motorized Rifle Brigade stopped almost 30 russian attacks against Lyman last week. Here, russian troops storm in waves, using drones, motorcycles and even tourist tents for camouflage. The russian army lost 167 soldiers, 102 of whom were killed.

Yulia Stepanyuk, Head of the communications department of the 117th Brigade, informs that servicemen of the 117th Brigade are observing that russian troops are concentrating their efforts towards the settlement of Shakhove. Currently, the intensity of russian assaults towards Pokrovsk is increasing, because each time the russian army replenishes its personnel.

The General Staff said that russian troops attacked three times towards Siversk near Hryhorivka and Vyimka, there were 11 assaults.

Towards Pokrovsk, Ukrainian defenders stopped 60 assaults. Another 27 attempts by the russian army to break through the defense lines towards Novopavlivka were stopped.

Shelling

Oleksandra Pakhomova, Deputy Head of the Defense Ministry, says that one person was injured during the shelling of Druzhkivka.

The RMA reported that at least 1 person was killed and 14 injured as a result of the strike on Dobropillia. The russian army hit the city center with a 500-kilogram bomb. It is likely that people are still trapped under the rubble – the search for survivors is ongoing. 54 retail outlets, 304 apartments in 13 buildings, and eight cars were damaged.

Oleksandr Honcharenko, Head of the RMA, says that on the night of July 15, from 23:10 to 23:59, russian troops carried out six strikes with Geran-2 drones on Kramatorsk. According to him, they hit a residential area and an industrial zone of the city. Apartment buildings, a garden, road infrastructure, business facilities of a private enterprise and warehouses were damaged.

Vadym Filashkin, Head of the RMA, reports that 11 people were injured in Donetsk oblast due to russian shelling in Rodynske, Druzhkivka, Pokrovsk, Myrnohrad, Novoselivka, Hryshyn, and Roz.

russian troops covered 19 settlements with fire. 82 civilian objects were destroyed, including 71 residential buildings.

russians struck Druzhkivka with Tornado-S MLRSs, wounding 2 civilians, damaging 20 private houses and a car.

russian troops struck Rodynske with Smerch MLRSs. As a result of the attack, 4 people were injured, 2 apartment buildings destroyed.

During the artillery shelling, a civilian was injured in Myrnohrad, and one civilian was also injured in Pokrovsk and Hryshyn, which were subjected to drone attacks.

As a result of enemy strikes, a person was injured in the village of Rih.

The enemy dropped 2 GAB-250 aerial bombs on Novoselivka – one person was injured, 23 homes and an educational institution destroyed.

Other

Due to the attacks of russian FPV drones in Donetsk oblast, the evacuation of civilians is becoming more difficult. Roman Buhaiev, volunteer of Vostok SOS, who, in particular, evacuates people with reduced mobility, reports a queue of over 100 people who cannot be evacuated yet due to a lack of resettlement places.

Vadym Filashkin, Head of Donetsk RMA, says that in Pokrovsk, Donetsk oblast, three shops are operating, they are selling out their goods.

On July 15, on the Day of Ukrainian Statehood, an exhibition dedicated to important events of the liberation struggle in Luhansk oblast during the Ukrainian Revolution of 1917-1921 opened in Kyiv. The project was presented in the humanitarian hub of Starobilsk region state administration.

Luhansk oblast

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported that border guards in Luhansk oblast, in the vicinity of Serebrianka Forest, captured a junior sergeant of the russian army, who is originally from Tatarstan. He independently went to the positions of the fighters of the Revenge brigade, stating that he was lost. Mobilized in 2022, he fought towards Svatyiv and Kupiansk.

The invaders launched 35 artillery strikes in the oblast. They also struck from the air, directing 97 drones and six FPV drones against Ukrainian defenders. The invaders are not stopping their attempts to attack towards Lyman, specifically near Hrekivka and Novoiehorivka.

The population in occupied Sievierskodonetsk has not had drinking water for three days. It disappeared from the taps after the power to the pumping stations was cut off.

150 children from occupied Alchevsk, Luhansk oblast, will be sent to a russian military-patriotic education center in Volgograd oblast, russia.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

On the night of July 14, Russian forces attacked the Kyiv region using drones, according to the Regional Military Administration (RMA). Around fifteen enemy targets were destroyed using interceptor drones alone. There were no civilian casualties, and as of the morning, no hits or debris falls were recorded within populated areas.

Kyiv plans to allocate 260 million UAH for the full-scale implementation of the “Clean Sky” project, which aims to protect the capital’s airspace using domestically produced interceptor drones, stated the head of the RMA, Mykola Kalashnyk. A training center for drone interceptor operators is also planned. Additional mobile units will be formed to patrol the capital and its approaches.

In Kyiv, President Volodymyr Zelensky met with Latvian Prime Minister Evika Siliņa to discuss continued defense support for Ukrainian soldiers and Ukraine’s path toward European integration.

The Kyiv community has delivered 3,000 drones of various types to Ukrainian troops at the front, announced Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko. The drones were handed over to the 12th Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which serves in the hottest combat zones. The delivered drones include FPV models for daytime and nighttime use, as well as digital anti-aircraft drones.

In Bucha, the establishment of a veterans’ space has begun. This will be a place where every veteran and their family members can receive support, connect with others, and find new opportunities, said Mayor Anatolii Fedoruk. The space will serve as a hub for meetings, communities, events, and the development of veteran initiatives.

At Kyiv’s Ohmatdyt hospital, a series of unique surgeries will be performed for children with severe craniofacial deformities, the medical institution reported. One of France’s leading pediatric maxillofacial surgeons, Romain Hosni, has arrived at the hospital. He represents the Necker-Enfants Malades children’s hospital in Paris and is a professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Paris. This is his fourth visit since signing a memorandum on international partnership to help Ukrainian children with rare anomalies.

Zhytomyr oblast

n Zhytomyr, 16 individuals — war veterans and family members of fallen or deceased Defenders of Ukraine — will receive financial compensation for the purchase of housing. The decision was made on July 16 during a meeting of the executive committee of the Zhytomyr City Council. The total amount of state subvention received by the city budget in July exceeds 36 million UAH.

On July 15, the Day of Ukrainian Statehood, a boxing tournament was held in Zhytomyr in memory of the fallen soldier Vitalii Hanʹko. Vitalii’s son, Rostyslav, also participated in the tournament — he stepped into the ring to honor his father and won his match.

Sumy oblast

The General Staff reported that since the beginning of the day, four russian attacks have taken place on Northern-Slobozhanske and Kursk front. Enemy forces also carried out six airstrikes, dropping 15 guided aerial bombs, and launched 183 shelling attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements, including two from multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine informed that order guard UAV operators from the RUBpAK ‘Prime’ unit eliminated 20 russian soldiers on Kursk front. In addition, they destroyed drones, shelters, and a remote drone control antenna.

According to the Regional Military Administration, around 5:25pm, russian forces launched two missile strikes on the outskirts of Shostka community in Sumy oblast. Private homes and a vehicle were damaged.

Around 7am., russian forces struck Stetskivskyi starosta district of Sumy community. As a result of the attack, the village experienced partial power outages, and two residential buildings were damaged. According to Yurii Lysenko, the Head of Stetskivskyi starosta district, there were no injuries or fatalities.

Sumy regional police reported that in the morning of 16 July, enemy forces targeted the territory of an enterprise in the oblast center with a strike-type UAV. As a result of the attack, an administrative building, vehicles, and two private houses were damaged.

The Regional Military Administration informed that on 15 July, after 3pm, russian forces shelled the outskirts of Velyka Pysarivka community by artillery, killing a 50-year-old local resident. The enemy also launched a repeat attack on Bytytskyi starosta district of Sumy community, damaging around six houses. In the evening, russian troops attacked a village in Krasnopillia community, causing a fire as a result of the strike.

During the day, from the morning of 15 July to the morning of 16 July, russian forces carried out nearly 100 shelling attacks on 33 settlements across 13 territorial communities in the oblast. The highest number of strikes was recorded in Sumy and Shostka regions. The enemy actively used guided aerial bombs (nearly 40 strikes), dropped explosive grenades from UAVs (10 strikes), and also launched FPV-drone strikes, UAV attacks, and missile strikes.

As a result of russian strikes in Sumy oblast, the following damage was reported:

  • In Sumy community — private homes, farm buildings, and agricultural machinery;
  • In Velyka Pysarivka community — two private houses.

Over the past day, 10 people were evacuated from border communities by local authorities in cooperation with units of the State Emergency Service, National Police, and public organizations.

On 15 July in Kyiv, the President of Ukraine awarded Alyona Stavytska the Order of Courage, 3rd Class. She is the only woman in ‘White Angel’ special unit in Sumy oblast, where she evacuates civilians from border areas. In April 2025, she was also honored by the International Association of Women Police and named ‘Officer of the Year.’

The Regional Military Administration announced that last week, 30 war veterans from Sumy oblast who sustained injuries and disabilities due to the war received housing certificates from the state. The housing certificate program is implemented under the initiative of the President of Ukraine, the Government, the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, and with support from the EU as part of the Ukraine Facility.

Chernihiv oblast

 The Regional Military Administration reported that on the border of Novhorod-Siverskyi region, a 30-year-old man drove over an explosive device with a tractor and sustained a blast injury. He is currently hospitalized in serious condition.

‘North’ Operational Command informed that russian forces attacked four border communities in Chernihiv oblast yesterday: Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, Horodnia, and Snovsk. The enemy carried out strikes using Molniya-type UAVs (3 explosions), FPV-drones (17 explosions), and dropped explosive devices from UAVs (25 explosions). A total of 15 settlements came under enemy fire.

In Novhorod-Siverskyi community, a civilian was injured in Hremiach village due to an explosive device dropped from a UAV. In Semenivka community, an FPV-drone strike damaged a critical infrastructure facility in Khotiivka village. In Hirsk village, Snovsk community, a russian attack damaged an administrative building.

According to ‘North’ Operational Command, during the day on 15 July, the russian army attacked Velykyi Lystven. Three explosions from Shahed/Herbera-type UAVs and one explosion, likely by a Lancet-type UAV, were recorded.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

The enemy attacked the region at night. Air defense forces destroyed 16 UAVs.

As a result of the attack of drones and missiles in Kryvyi Rih, an enterprise was destroyed, infrastructure damaged. There were fires. A 17-year-old boy was wounded, he was hospitalized in serious condition. From evening to morning, attacks on Nikopol region continued. They targeted the regional center, Chervonohryhorivka, Pokrovske, Myrove and Marhanets communities. They fired with artillery and drones. A high-rise building, an unused building and a power line were damaged. The enemy army also struck the Velykomykhailivska, Mykolaivka and Mezhova communities of Synelnykove region. They hit with GABs and drones. 2 private homes and 3 cars were damaged.

The occupiers carried out about two dozen attacks with drones and artillery in Nikopol region. A 69-year-old woman was killed and five people were injured. They targeted the regional center, Chervonohryhorivka, Pokrovske, Myrove and Marhanets communities. Several fires broke out, 2 high-rise buildings, 22 private homes, 10 outbuildings, a bank, a hairdresser, a pharmacy, 3 shops, a cafe, a car, an unused building, infrastructure and power lines were damaged. The enemy army also struck with GABs Velykymykhaylivka and Novopavlivka communities of Synelnykove region.

Vinnytsia oblast

At night, 28 UAVs attacked the oblast, approximately 18 of which were destroyed by air defense. As a result of the attack on two civilian industrial facilities, large-scale fires broke out.

City mayor Serhii Morhunov says that in Vinnytsia, civilian infrastructure was hit. Eight people were injured. Five of them suffered burns (2 severe and 3 moderate). Also, 9 residential buildings were damaged in Pysarivka. 

Kirovohrad oblast

All night long, the enemy again terrorized Kirovohrad oblast with dozens of UAVs. The fragments of one of the downed drones landed on the territory of a private household in Dobrovelychkivka community. The windows in the house were damaged. There were fires in the fields, the fire was quickly extinguished.

Andrii Raikovych, Head of the RMA, reports that in Velyki Troiany, Blahoveshchensk community, restoration is underway after a nighttime enemy attack. Windows and doors were damaged in 10 houses, an outbuilding was damaged. Rescue services, employees of the local utility company, and local residents joined the restoration work. Each house was inspected by a commission. Representatives of Right to Protection also visited the damaged yards. 

Poltava oblast

In Poltava, two servicemen were paid tribute to: Mykhailo Baklytskyi, who was killed on July 10, 2025 in Donetsk oblast, and Denys Radchenko,killed during service on July 8, 2025 near the village of Nivetske, Vyshhorod region, Kyiv oblast.

Poltava oblast paid tribute to Yurii Solovii from Kremenchuk, who was killed on July 5, 2025 while performing a combat mission near the village of Druzhba, Donetsk oblast; Taras Kabluchka from Kotelva, who was killed on July 13, 2025 from russian artillery shelling of Ukrainian positions near the village of Novopavlivka, Dnipropetrovsk oblast; and Vadym Lozytskyi from Lubny community, who was killed on July 3, 2025 as a result of a russian FPV drone strike near the village of Andriivka, Sumy oblast.

In Poltava, they said goodbye to Larysa Zaritska, the fourth victim of the shelling on July 3. The woman worked in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and died of wounds.

Cherkasy oblast

Within the borders of Cherkasy oblast, air defense forces destroyed 14 russian UAVs.

In Uman region, a blast wave and drone debris damaged about a dozen houses, a power line, and farm property in several villages. According to Ihor Taburets, Head of the RMA, there were no injuries.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

On 15 July, the occupiers launched 411 attacks on 14 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast. russian forces launched 4 airstrikes on Hulyaipole, Novodanylivka, and Novoandriivka. 269 UAVs of various types (mostly FPV) attacked Zaporizhzhia, Nahorne, Krynychky, Mykhailivka, Liutserna, Kamianske, Huliaipole, Robotyne, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, and Charivne. Four MLRS attacks targeted Novodanylivka, Shcherbaky, and Mala Tokmachka. There were 134 artillery strikes on Kamianske, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, and Charivne. Twenty-eight reports were received about the destruction of apartments, private houses, garages, vehicles, and infrastructure. A 12-year-old girl was injured as a result of a russian attack on Zaporizhzhia.

The 12-year-old girl, injured during the shelling of Zaporizhzhia on 14 July, is currently in the ENT department in moderate condition. According to Ivan Anikin, Medical Director of Zaporizhzhia Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital, the girl has a concussion and is undergoing further examination.

On 16 July, on the outskirts of the temporarily occupied city of Tokmak in Zaporizhzhia oblast, Ukraine’s Defense Forces destroyed a UAZ-452 vehicle, which contained two russian soldiers — members of an aerial reconnaissance crew who specialized in using Skat 350M UAVs — along with the UAV itself.

On 15 July, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled two russian attacks towards Orikhiv and Huliaipole.

Mykolaiv oblast

On the night of 16 July, the air force in Mykolaiv oblast destroyed seven Shahed 131/136 drones and various types of decoy UAVs. As a result of combat activity and falling debris, a private house and a car were damaged in Voznesensk region. There were no casualties.

Yesterday, 15 July, the enemy attacked Kutsurub community four times with FPV drones and carried out artillery shelling at 09:30. In the village of Dmytrivka, four private houses were damaged, and a grass fire broke out, which was promptly extinguished. 

In addition, on 15 July around 11:30, the enemy launched a missile strike on the city of Ochakiv. A 69-year-old man was injured in the attack. The strike also caused damage to two recreational facilities and ignited dry vegetation and shrubs in an open area; the fire was quickly extinguished.

In Kobleve on the morning of 16 July, a mine detonated. An engineering and sapper unit from the 123rd Territorial Defense Brigade responded. After reconnaissance, specialists discovered and neutralized several river anchor mines through a controlled detonation.

Odesa oblast

At night, the enemy attacked Izmail region with strike drones. Despite active work by air defense forces, the infrastructure was damaged. In the city of Izmail, the windows in administrative buildings were shattered.

On the night of 16 July, air defense destroyed more than 30 drones over the south.

In the evening of 15 July, russian troops attacked Odesa oblast with an Iskander-M ballistic missile launched from temporarily occupied Crimea.

As part of a project supported by the Lithuanian government and the charitable organization “Lithuanian-Ukrainian Charitable Foundation SUPPORT,” five medical institutions in Odesa oblast received equipment for installing solar power plants. Thanks to modern solar panels, hospitals will be able to operate uninterrupted even in emergency situations.

Kherson oblast

On 15 July, the enemy attacked Sadove, Antonivka, Nezlamne, Kizomys, Chornobaivka, Chereshenky, Veletenske, Komyshany, Bilozerka, Stanislav, Blahodatne, Oleksandrivka, Pryozerne, Sofiivka, Shyroka Balka, Mykilske, Prydniprovske, Znamianka, Novodmytrivka, Klapaia, Romashkove, Berehove, Beryslav, Osokorivka, Novoraisk, Kostyrka, Sahaidachne, Dudchany, Zolota Balka, Havrylivka, Zarychne, Ivanivka, Kozatske, Lvove, Mylove, Poniativka, Tokarivka, and the city of Kherson. As a result of the attacks, 2 apartment buildings, 10 private houses, farm structures, a garage, and private vehicles were damaged. 8 people were injured due to russian aggression.

Ukrainian soldiers repelled eight enemy attacks in the area of the Antonivsky Bridge and near Kozulsky and Zabych islands. Over the past day, the enemy lost 50 troops, 7 guns, 14 units of motor and armored vehicles, 1 boat, 1 electronic warfare system including Groza, 5 reconnaissance UAVs (Zala and Supercam), 1 communication antenna, 1 field ammunition depot, and 2 storage sites. Additionally, 38 shelters/dugouts and 2 observation posts were destroyed.

Volyn oblast

Open fishing championship of Turiiska community. This year’s competition had a charitable purpose – to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In total, 6700 UAH were raised for the volunteer kitchen Turiisk Housewives.

Zakarpattia oblast

Defenders from Uzhhorod Territorial Defense Battalion, who are currently on the front lines defending the country from russian invaders, received assistance from Uzhhorod City Council. In accordance with the request of the commander of the Military Unit A7369, under the Program for Support of Military Units, Other Military Formations, and Paramilitary Organizations, which operates in the city council, they purchased 4 gasoline inverter generators and 2 multi-channel fast charging units.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

40 FPV drones were sent to the 3rd Battalion Svoboda of the 4th Brigade of the National Guard Rubizh from Ivano-Frankivsk community.

Lviv oblast

27 servicemen from the Lviv region set off for the Holy Mount Athos. This is the third pilgrimage mission within the framework of the “Spiritual Victory” initiative. So far, 70 defense personnel have already participated in such trips.

The families of 99 full-scale war veterans from Lviv oblast received funds to purchase housing. These are our Defenders, who have disabilities of groups I and II, as well as the families of fallen soldiers.

In Boryslav, during the Boryslavski batyary charity concert, which was organized to raise funds for the Galician paratroopers, they managed to raise UAH 42,600. Drohobych RMA sent a DJI Mavic to the Armed Forces of the Ukrainian SSR.

Rivne oblast

24 children from Orikhivska community of Zaporizhzhia oblast came to Sarna community for a vacation as part of the Side by Side: United Communities national project. Soon, Sarna region is expecting another 30 children from Savynska community, Kharkiv oblast.

Ternopil oblast

21 Ternopil residents whose homes were damaged by a rocket strike on 25 May will receive financial support from the city.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

45 children from the oblast went on vacation to Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship (the Republic of Poland). During the departure, they presented Piotr Czalbecki, Marshal of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship of the Republic of Poland, with a commemorative souvenir and a flag with the children’s signatures.

Chernivtsi oblast

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, presented Chernivtsi Unit of the National Guard of Ukraine with a ribbon to the Battle Banner with the honorary name of Hetman Petro Sahaidachny. The award was received from the Head of State by Colonel Vadym Shvets, Commander of the Unit, during celebrations on the occasion of Ukrainian Statehood Day in the capital of Ukraine.

Denmark will provide satellite communications services to the Ukrainian military. Denmark is carrying out this transfer in close cooperation with the EDA, emphasizing the importance of the space domain for the defense of both Ukraine and Europe.

Pal Jonsson, Swedish Defense Minister, stated that Sweden will join efforts to increase arms supplies to Ukraine following Trump’s announcement about supplying weapons through NATO.

In Ukraine, Egils Helmanis, Mayor of the Latvian city of Ogre, was injured during russian shelling. Egils Helmanis is in Ukraine on a business trip. He and a team of like-minded people were delivering vehicles and other assistance to Ukraine for the Defense Forces.
