War in Ukraine today: latest news, 15 June 2026 (photo)

It has been the 1573  th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 4 pm:   

Since the start of the day, the aggressor has carried out 54 attacks.

The aggressor is shelling border areas. Today, in Sumy oblast, the following areas were affected: Korenok, Rohizne, Ulanove, Volfyne, Bachivsk, Fotovizh, Buniachyne, Velyka Berizka, Zarichchia, Kuchervka, Budky and Stiahailivka. In Chernihiv oblast, Yanzhulivka, Kliusy and Yasna Poliana. Ulanove, Korenok and Mala Slobidka in Sumy oblast were also subjected to air strikes.

Towards Northern Sloboda and Kursk, the enemy carried out 26 attacks on settlements and our troops’ positions, one of which involved the use of multiple launch rocket systems. Three enemy assaults were recorded.

Towards Southern Sloboda, the enemy made four attempts to improve its position in the areas around the settlements of Izbytske, Vilcha, Vovchansk and Vovchanski Khutory. Two of these attempts are still ongoing.

Towards Kupiansk, no enemy assaults were recorded.

Towards Lyman, the enemy launched 12 attacks towards Zarichne, Lyman, Novoselivka, Drobysheve, Dibrova and Yampil. Two of these attacks are still ongoing.

Towards Sloviansk, the occupiers made six attempts to improve their position towards Zakitne, Rai-Oleksandrivka and Kryva Luka. 

Towards Kramatorsk, the enemy did not carry out any active offensive operations.

Towards Kostiantynivka, the invaders carried out seven attacks towards the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Stepanivka and Vilne. One of these is still ongoing.

Towards Pokrovsk, since the start of the day, the occupiers have attempted eight times to dislodge our troops from their positions towards the settlements of Dobropillia, Novyi Donbas, Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Kotlyne, Udachne and Novopavlivka.

Towards Oleksandrivka, the enemy attempted twice to advance in the areas of Zlahoda and Kalynivka.

Towards Huliaipole, the enemy carried out nine attacks on our defenders’ positions towards Zlahoda, Dobropillia, Radisne, Rivnopillia, Vozdvyzhivka, Huliaipole, Dolynka and Charivne. One of these attacks is still ongoing.

The Netherlands has transferred another mine countermeasures vessel to Ukraine. The ship has been named Henichesk, in honor of the Ukrainian vessel that was sunk while carrying out a combat mission near the Kinburn Spit in 2022.

With this addition, the number of mine countermeasures vessels in the Ukrainian Navy has increased to five. Previously, the United Kingdom transferred the Sandown-class vessels Cherkasy and Chernihiv, while Belgium and the Netherlands provided the Alkmaar-class vessels Melitopol and Mariupol. The newly transferred Henichesk also belongs to the Alkmaar class.

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Kharkiv oblast

On the night of 15 June, russian forces struck Kholodnohirskyi district. The enemy attacked the city with missiles. At 1:36am, russia launched a Shahed UAV at Shevchenkivskyi district. According to Oleh Syniehubov, Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, 13 people were injured in the russian attack. 5 of them were hospitalised. According to him, a one-month-old baby and two women are in hospital, as well as two men who are receiving treatment in intensive care.

According to the State Emergency Service, as a result of a second russian strike in Kharkiv on the night of 15 June, four firefighters and an employee of the city’s emergency services department were killed whilst extinguishing a fire at a factory. Six more firefighters were injured. In total, nine people were injured in Kholodnohirskyi district.

Mayor Ihor Terekhov said that in the evening of 15 June, the russians launched a drone strike on Shevchenkivskyi district. The strike hit the zoo grounds. Enclosures have been damaged, and there are reports of injured animals. The animals are currently being evacuated to safe premises, and experts are inspecting the site.

As a result of a russian missile strike on Kholodnohirskyi district on the night of 15 June, the building of Kharkiv Higher Professional Art College was damaged. The blast wave shattered more than 20 windows at the educational institution. The Regional Council said that the extent of the damage is being assessed. This is the fourth time the college has been damaged by russian strikes since the start of the full-scale invasion.

The RMA informed in the evening on 14 June that as a result of enemy UAV strikes in Kyivskyi district, the roof of a cultural institution caught fire, and windows in office buildings were also damaged. In Kholodnohirskyi district, the fencing around warehouse premises and a disused warehouse was damaged. 

Director Valentyna Myzhina reported that on 14 June, Kharkiv Art Museum came under russian attack in Kharkiv. Firefighters contained a fire covering an area of 1,200 sq m. The building requires major repairs; the roof and floors have been destroyed, and the windows have been smashed. Museum staff worked until almost midnight to save the exhibits. According to her, at the time of the strike, some of the exhibits that had not yet been evacuated were still inside the building. Valuable works, including Illia Repin’s painting “The Cossacks Write a Letter to the Turkish Sultan”, had been removed from the city earlier.

Kharkiv Regional Organisation of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers stated that as a result of the russian strike on Kharkiv on 14 June, the family mansion of architect Oleksii Beketov, which currently houses the Kharkiv House of Scientists Centre for Culture, Science and the Arts, was damaged. The mansion has been damaged for the fourth time since the start of the full-scale invasion. Designed by one of the city’s most famous architects, the mansion has survived revolutions, wars and changing eras, but today it is once again suffering from russian aggression.

Donetsk oblast

Frontline

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine informed on the morning of 15 June that the Defence Forces have repelled more than 70 attacks by russian troops on the eastern front. Towards Pokrovsk, the Defence Forces repelled 30 assaults by the russian army, whilst the russians carried out 15 attacks towards Kostiantynivka. The enemy did not advance towards Kramatorsk.

Staff Sergeant Vitalii Piasetskyi of the 93rd Mechanised Brigade said that evacuation from Kostiantynivka and all frontline towns is extremely difficult, as russian pilots are striking civilian targets, particularly when they cannot locate military targets. 

Brigadier General Oleksandr Bakulin, Commander of the 19th Army Corps, reported that ghere are likely 123 russian soldiers in the town of Kostiantynivka. The situation there is not critical. Fighting continues.

Petro Andriushchenko, Haed of the Centre for the Study of the Occupation, reported that the Mariupol–Novoazovsk highway has been blocked following the destruction of a russian military convoy. Civilian traffic has been officially rerouted via Pikuz via rural roads.

 

Attacks

On the morning of 14 June, three people were injured as a result of russian military strikes on vehicles on roads in Donetsk oblast. At 9:25am, the enemy directed a Lancet UAV at a vehicle on the road near the village of Shavrove in Oleksandrivka community, two 46-year-old men sustained blast injuries. At 9:50am, on another road near Bilozerske, a 40-year-old civilian sustained serious injuries to his arms and legs as a result of an enemy attack.

On the evening of 14 June, russian forces struck Novodonetsk. A Molniya-2 type unmanned aerial vehicle targeted a multi-storey residential building. A 50-year-old woman was killed in the shelling. The Regional Prosecutor’s Office stated that 5 local women aged between 43 and 86 sustained injuries. They were diagnosed with blast injuries, shrapnel wounds, abrasions, burns and concussions.

In Mykolaivka, a man was injured when a shell struck a basement where people were taking shelter. His wife managed to stop the bleeding. Donetsk Regional National Police reported that they were evacuated along with other civilians by the White Angels crew. Five other residents decided to leave with the injured man, one of whom is immobile.

Vadym Liakh, Head of Sloviansk City Council, said that on 13 June, three people were killed as a result of shelling in Sloviansk. A 56-year-old man, his 27-year-old son and his 75-year-old mother were killed instantly when an aerial bomb struck their car. The 52-year-old wife, in a serious condition, has been taken to a hospital in Kharkiv. According to the head, the family had travelled to the city centre to visit a dentist.

Over the course of 14 June, russian forces killed two residents, in Novodonetsk and Bilozerske. According to Vadym Filashkin, Head of the Regional Military Administration, as of the morning of 15 June, a further 11 people were injured. In total, the russians shelled settlements in the oblast 18 times over the past 24 hours.

In Bilozerske, Pokrovsk region, one person was killed as a result of russian shelling.

In Kramatorsk region: in Mykolaivka, eight private houses were damaged; in Maidan Cherkaska community, a lorry was damaged; in Shavrove, Oleksandrivka community, two people were wounded and a car was damaged; in Novodonetsk, one person was killed and five wounded; a three-storey building, a dormitory and a clinic were damaged; in Samiilivka, a house was damaged; in Druzhkivka, three people were wounded, and 13 private homes and a high-rise building were damaged.

463 people, including 79 children, have been evacuated from the front line.

Luhansk oblast

Oleksii Kharchenko, Head of Luhansk Regional Military Administration, reported that on 14 June, russian forces launched 17 attacks towards Lyman, targeting eight settlements. In Luhansk oblast, the russians used barrel and rocket artillery, fired mortars twice, struck with automatic grenade launchers on four occasions, and deployed seven drones.

The RMA said that fuel has run out in the occupied city of Siverskodonetsk. There is no petrol at any petrol station, the statement said. In other communities in the oblast, russian occupiers are attempting to restrict the sale of fuel in every possible way.

The population remaining in Novodruzhesk has been living without electricity for four years. The last time electricity was supplied to residents’ homes was back in the spring of 2022, during active hostilities around the settlement. Since the start of the russian occupation, repair work has still not begun.

The second week of June in the temporarily occupied Luhansk oblast was marked by a simultaneous escalation of problems in several areas of life: fuel has disappeared from petrol stations; water has stopped flowing to entire regions of Luhansk and a number of other towns; air-raid warning systems have not worked for years, and information on shelters remains inaccessible to the population. According to him, the occupying authorities are increasingly demonstrating their inability to ensure the functioning of basic infrastructure.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

On the night of 15 June, the russian army launched a massive attack on Kyiv. Five people were killed in the strikes and a 34 more injured, including two children aged 5 and 6. Damage and destruction were reported in almost all districts of Kyiv. The shelling caused 26 fires covering a total area of almost 6,000 square metres. By the morning, work was still ongoing at six locations. Over 1,200 State Emergency Service rescuers and police officers have been deployed to assist with the emergency response.

A fire broke out on the grounds of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra following a russian strike – the roof of the Cathedral of the Dormition was ablaze. According to Timur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, the damage was significant due to a direct hit. (Video). At 08:35, the State Emergency Service extinguished the fire on the cathedral’s roof. While rescue workers were attempting to suppress the flames in the main cathedral, the occupiers launched a second strike nearby – targeting the National Cultural, Art and Museum Complex ‘Mystetskyi Arsenal’.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister for Humanitarian Policy and Minister of Culture, Tetiana Berezhna, the russian attack on Kyiv on 15 June also caused a fire at the Oleksandr Dovzhenko National Film Studio. The enemy strike destroyed Ukraine’s largest and oldest costume collection: the studio housed around 100,000 costumes and three million items of clothing. Other buildings and structures at the film studio were also damaged.

As a result of the enemy’s massive attack on Kyiv, damage and fires have been reported in almost all districts of the city:

▪️ A fire has broken out in a warehouse and 30 vehicles in the Obolon district of Kyiv. A fire has broken out in one of the apartment blocks, causing damage between the 3rd and 4th floors. A 9-storey residential building was also hit, followed by a second strike. Two casualties were found and handed over to medical staff. Damage to residential buildings, including broken windows and doors, has been reported.

▪️ In the Shevchenkivskyi district, a non-residential building, residential blocks and commercial premises were hit. Three people were rescued from a 25-storey residential block, whilst another person was freed from a lift and handed over to medics with burns. The fire has been extinguished.

▪️ In the Solomyanskyi district, a 9-storey residential building was hit, with fires on the 5th and 6th floors. Fifteen people were rescued, including three children.

▪️ In the Podilskyi district, strikes caused fires in a detached house and a block of flats.

▪️ In the Pechersk district, residential buildings have been hit, resulting in fires. A fire broke out on the roof of one of the capital’s churches.

▪️ Fires have broken out in a warehouse in the Holosiivskyi district; a strike on a critical infrastructure facility has been reported.

▪️ A private residential house has been damaged in the Dnipro district.

▪️ A fire has broken out at an educational establishment in the Desnianskyi district.

▪️ Debris fell in the Darnytskyi district, followed by a fire.

▪️ Damage to residential buildings has been reported in the Svyatoshynskyi district, with no subsequent fire, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

According to the Kyiv City State Administration, power lines have been damaged as a result of the enemy’s attack. In the northern part of the capital, 140,000 customers were left without electricity. As of today, light has already been restored to 105,000 households.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has reported that, as a result of the russian all-out attack on 15 June, the National Palace of Arts ‘Ukraine’ and the Ivan Karpenko-Karyi Kyiv National University of Theatre, Cinema and Television were damaged.

The company’s CEO, Yevhen Tafiychuk, reported that during the massive attack on Kyiv, the russians destroyed Nova Poshta’s largest innovative terminal. A fire broke out on the premises following the strike, but it was contained. The terminal and sorting equipment were damaged, and part of the cargo was destroyed. A terminal in Zaporizhzhia was also damaged. The assessment of the damage is ongoing.

According to Mykola Kalashnyk, head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, five districts in Kyiv oblast were affected by a massive russian attack on the night of 15 June. Three people were injured, including a child. Work is ongoing to assess the damage caused by the attack and repair the damage.

In Boryspil district, a man sustained cuts to his foot, and a woman suffered a concussion. A boy born in 2011 was diagnosed by medics with an acute stress reaction. All those affected received the necessary medical assistance. A private residential building was also damaged.

In Brovary region, a multi-storey residential building, three cars and storage facilities were damaged.

In Vyshhorod region, damage was recorded on the premises of a private household.

In Fastiv region, a fire broke out in a private house and a car was damaged.

In the Bucha district, storage facilities were damaged.

Zhytomyr oblast

On 13 June, a dragon boat trip was organised in Zhytomyr for veterans, serving members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and young people. Around 30 people took part in the event. Natalia Strafun, head of public relations at the NGO “Veterans’ Corps”, reported on the event. According to her, such sporting activities help veterans through the process of reintegration into civilian life.

Sumy oblast

The State Emergency Service of Sumy oblast reported that during the night of 15 June, the enemy carried out a drone strike on an apartment building in Sumy. The drone hit a balcony on the eighth floor. Three people were injured, including one child. At another location, an enemy strike damaged a non-residential building.

As a result of the overnight drone attack on 15 June, the Palace of Children and Youth in Sumy was damaged. This is the third time the institution has been damaged since the start of the full-scale invasion. Stanislav Poliakov, Deputy Mayor of Sumy, said that a 14-storey and a nine-storey residential building were also damaged in the city.

The State Emergency Service of Sumy oblast informed that enemy strikes during the night of 15 June caused damage to private households, apartment buildings and non-residential premises in Hlukhiv and Krolevets community. Fires broke out, and all fire hotspots were extinguished.

According to Viktor Lekhman, Mayor of Krolevets, at around 2am on 15 June, Krolevets came under a massive attack by russian drones. As a result of the strike, around 50 private houses and flats were damaged. Residents’ homes sustained shattered windows, as well as damage to roofs, facades, ceilings, fences and a vehicle.

Vorozhba community reported that a 51-year-old man who was injured in a russian drone strike on 14 June died in hospital.

From the morning of 14 June to the morning of 15 June, russian forces carried out nearly 80 attacks on 29 settlements across 18 territorial communities of the oblast. The highest number of attacks was recorded in Sumy, Shostka and Konotop regions. The enemy used mortars, artillery, FPV drones, UAVs and guided aerial bombs. Air raid alerts in the oblast lasted for 22 hours and 50 minutes during the reporting period.

The Regional Military Administration reported that, as of the morning of 15 June, one person had been killed and seven injured in enemy attacks across Sumy oblast over the previous 24 hours. Destruction and damage to private homes, vehicles and civilian infrastructure facilities were also recorded:

▪️ In Seredyna-Buda community, a 69-year-old woman was killed in a russian UAV strike. A private residential house was destroyed, while other private homes and a civilian infrastructure facility were damaged;

▪️ In Bilopollia community, a 44-year-old man was injured in a russian UAV strike. A non-residential premises and a vehicle were damaged;

▪️ In Vorozhba community, a 51-year-old man was injured in an enemy drone strike. A vehicle was damaged;

▪️ In Putyvl community, a 68-year-old woman was injured when a UAV struck near her home. A private residential house, an outbuilding and a civilian infrastructure facility were damaged;

▪️ In Sumy community, an 11-year-old girl and two women aged 63 and 38 were injured after an enemy UAV struck an apartment building. Non-residential premises, an apartment building, a private residential house and a civilian infrastructure facility were damaged;

▪️ In Hlukhiv community, a 71-year-old man was injured when an enemy drone struck a vehicle;

▪️ In Yunakivka community, a non-residential premises was damaged;

▪️ In Yampil community, a civilian infrastructure facility, a private residential house and road surface were damaged;

▪️ In Shostka community, a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged;

▪️ In Krolevets community, non-residential premises, an apartment building and private residential houses were damaged.

Chernihiv oblast

Viacheslav Chaus, Head of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, reported that over the past week, the Defence Forces neutralised 343 enemy drones in Chernihiv oblast. Nearly 300 were shot down, while the remainder were classified as locally lost.

The State Border Guard Service informed that on 14 June, border guards in Chernihiv oblast destroyed six Shahed drones and two Molniya-type UAVs.

Viacheslav Chaus, Head of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, said that on 14 June, strikes on energy and communications facilities were recorded in Chernihiv oblast as a result of russian attacks.

In Sosnytska community, Heran UAV strikes damaged private residential houses. In a village of Liubetska community, a UAV attack damaged windows in a house. An enemy Herbera UAV struck a garage cooperative in Horodnia community, causing a fire and damaging a garage and a vehicle.

According to Chernihiv Border Guard Detachment, on 14 June, russian forces attacked four border communities in Chernihiv oblast: Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, Horodnia and Snovsk. The enemy carried out mortar attacks (10 explosions), artillery strikes (6 explosions), multiple launch rocket system attacks (20 explosions), FPV drone attacks (6 explosions), and dropped an explosive device from a UAV (1 explosion). A total of eight settlements came under enemy fire.

Viacheslav Chaus, Head of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, announced that between 8 and 14 June, 73 people, including 15 children, left the border areas of Chernihiv oblast, which are regularly shelled by russian forces. Three people relocated outside the oblast, while all others remained within Chernihiv oblast.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

24 enemy UAVs were shot down over the oblast during the night.

Dnipro. The russian forces attacked Dnipro by missiles and UAVs. One man was injured. Fires broke out. Enterprises, a college, a non-operational building, a school, the House of Organ Music and infrastructure were damaged.

Nikopol region. A truck driver was injured on a highway and sought medical assistance. Due to evening attacks in Pokrovske rural community, a man was wounded and his house caught fire. The occupiers attacked the regional centre, Chervonohryhorivka, Pokrovske rural and urban communities by drones and artillery. An outpatient clinic, a market, an extracurricular education institution and 2 apartment buildings were damaged.

Synelnykove region. 6 KABs struck Vasylkivka community. An outbuilding caught fire, while 2 apartment buildings, a private house and a kindergarten were damaged. 

Infrastructure was damaged as a result of a UAV attack on Petropavlivka community.

Kryvyi Rih region. The enemy attacked Zelenodolsk community by UAVs. A man was injured. An enterprise was damaged.

Pavlohrad region. UAV attacks in Troitska community caused fires. Trucks and a private house were damaged.

Nikopol region. The occupiers shelled the regional centre, Chervonohryhorivka, Pokrovske rural and Marhanets communities by artillery and drones. A fire broke out. A kindergarten, a shop and infrastructure were damaged.

Synelnykove region. A UAV attack in Vasylkivka community caused fires in private houses, a summer kitchen and an outbuilding.

Kryvyi Rih region. An FPV drone strike damaged an enterprise in Hrushivka community.

Kirovohrad oblast

Andrii Raikovych, Head of Kirovohrad RMA, stated that dozens of drones and missiles passed over the oblast. UAV debris was discovered in a private yard in Pryiutivka community. Relevant services are already working at the site.

In Svitlovodsk city, residents paid tribute to serviceman Roman Peliukhovskyi, who was killed while carrying out a combat mission.

Poltava oblast

In Poltava, residents paid tribute to fallen defender Anatolii Hepalov. He was killed on 10 June 2026, in Donetsk oblast while carrying out a combat mission.

Memorial ceremonies will be held in the Chutove, Khorol, Novi Sanzhary, Bilyky communities and in Kremenchuk for Valerii Maior, Valentyn Pylchenko, Vitalii Shestakov, Oleksii Kostak and Oleksandr Shkapenko.

Valerii Maior was killed in action on 16 October 2025, near Sadky village, Sumy oblast.

Valentyn Pylchenko was killed on 24 July 2024, during a combat mission as a result of enemy mortar fire near Ivanivske settlement, Bakhmut region, Donetsk oblast.

Oleksii Kostak was killed in action on 4 December 2025, near Sadky village, Sumy oblast.

Oleksandr Shkapenko was killed on 29 May 2026, near Shyroke village, Polohy region, Zaporizhzhia oblast.

Vitalii Shestakov was killed while carrying out a combat mission near Ternuvate village, Zaporizhzhia oblast, on 10 June 2026.

Cherkasy oblast

Ihor Taburets, Head of Cherkasy RMA, reported that aair defence forces neutralised 3 missiles and 6 attack UAVs over Cherkasy oblast. There were no casualties or damage to infrastructure reported. 

In Cherkasy, residents paid tribute to serviceman Roman Havryliuk. He was killed on 10 March 2025, in kursk oblast while carrying out a combat mission. Contact with him was lost, and he had been considered missing in action. His body was identified on 2 June 2026.

In Monastyryshche, a memorial plaque was unveiled in honor of fallen serviceman Volodymyr Shvets. He was killed on 19 October 2022, near Piatykhatky village in Kherson oblast.

Zaporizhzhia oblast

Today, 15 June, russian forces attacked Zaporizhzhia oblast several times. As a result of the shelling in Vilniansk, a private house was damaged. A drone attack damaged a civilian vehicle in Lysohirka and an ambulance vehicle in Kushuhum. Two people were injured. russian forces also attacked one of Zaporizhzhia’s districts, injuring two people. Another strike targeted Komyshuvakha where four people were injured.

Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration reported that yesterday, 14 June, russian forces carried out 749 strikes on 46 settlements in the oblast. russian troops launched 18 airstrikes on Novomykolaivka, Zarichne, Vasylkivske, Lystivka, Orikhiv, Liubytske, Zirnytsia, Dolynka, Vasynivka, Yasna Poliana, Verkhnia Tersa, Danylivka, Zelene, Omelnyk, Mykilske, and Shyroke. 531 UAVs of various types (mostly FPV drones) attacked Zaporizhzhia, Vilniansk, Novomykolaivka, Kushuhum, Lukasheve, Bilenke, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Pavlivka, Lukianivske, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Mali Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charyvne, Bilohiria, Huliaipilske, Vozdvyzhivka, Rybne, Varvarivka, Dobropillia, Pryluky, Staroukrainka, Sviatopetrivka, Tsvitkove, Preobrazhenka, and Novoselivka. Another 200 artillery strikes targeted Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Pavlivka, Lukianivske, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Mali Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohiria, Dobropillia, Pryluky, Rybne, Huliaipilske, and Staroukrainka. Authorities received 61 reports of damage to housing, vehicles, and infrastructure facilities. Two people were killed and nine others injured as a result of russian attacks in Zaporizhzhia oblast.

According to the General Staff, as of 4pm on 15 June, russian forces carried out nine attacks toward the positions of Ukrainian defenders in the directions of Zlahoda, Dobropillia, Radisne, Rivnopillia, Vozdvyzhivka, Huliaipilske, Dolynka, and Charivne towards Huliaipole. One of these engagements is ongoing. russian forces conducted two assault actions near Pavlivka towards Orikhiv. One of the assaults is still ongoing. During the previous day, 14 June, Ukraine’s Defense Forces repelled 23 russian attacks towards Huliaipole and one more towards Orikhiv.

Mykolaiv oblast

Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration reported that overnight, the enemy attacked the region with Shahed-type UAVs. Critical infrastructure facilities in Mykolaiv were targeted. The attack caused a fire, which was promptly extinguished by emergency responders. There were no casualties.

Yesterday, 14 June, the enemy also carried out two attacks on Kutsurub community using Molniya-type strike drones. No casualties were reported.

Kherson oblast

Today, 15 June, russian forces attacked Korabelnyi district of Kherson several times. According to Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of Kherson Regional Military Administration, one person was killed and another injured in the morning shelling. Later, the administration reported five injured people. Among them, a 17-year-old girl remains in critical condition with blast injuries and shrapnel wounds to the head and legs. A 42-year-old woman, a 65-year-old woman, a 43-year-old man, and an 80-year-old woman sustained blast injuries.

At approximately 8:30am, russian forces shelled Bilozerka with artillery. A 70-year-old man suffered blast injuries and bruising to his arm.

At approximately 8:20am, in Kherson’s Dniprovskyi district, a man hit a russian mine. The 68-year-old resident sustained blast injuries.

Kherson Regional Military Administration also reported that two more residents injured in previous russian attacks sought medical assistance today. A resident of Bilozerka, injured during shelling on the evening of 11 June, was hospitalized with blast injuries and a concussion. Another man was hospitalized after a russian drone attack yesterday afternoon in the village of Rakivka in Beryslav region. The 40-year-old resident was diagnosed with blast injuries, shrapnel wounds to the leg, and abdominal bruising.

The Police of Kherson oblast reported that yesterday, 14 June, enemy attacks affected Kherson, Chornobaivka, Antonivka, Stanislav, Sofiivka, Sadove, Myroliubivka, Dniprovske, Shyroka Balka, Kizomys, Posad-Pokrovske, Prydniprovske, Bilozerka, Novodmytrivka, Oleksandrivka, Blahodatne, Romashkove, Rozlyv, Zorivka, Beryslav, Tarasa Shevchenka, Rakivka, Vysoke, Biliaivka, Khreshchenivka, Petropavlivka, Novovorontsovka, Kozatske, and Vesele. Police documented damage to an apartment building and nine private houses, a critical infrastructure facility, railway infrastructure, a gas station, an administrative office, a gas pipeline, and a garage. Five people were injured in the attacks, including three police officers.

The General Staff reported that as of 4pm on 15 June, russian forces attacked towards Antonivka.

Occupation authorities claimed that a large overnight drone attack again damaged bridges near Chonhar and Henichesk on the left bank of Kherson oblast. According to occupation-appointed “governor” of Kherson oblast Vladimir Saldo, the bridge near Chonhar was damaged again and movement through the “Dzhankoi checkpoint” was completely blocked. Traffic was also suspended on the bridge connecting Henichesk and the Arabat Spit.

Volyn oblast

Zakarpattia oblast

Uzhhorod City Council held a meeting with Felix Baumann, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Switzerland to Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova. They discussed support and cooperation.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

Since the beginning of the year, 61 combatants and their family members have already received grant support from the state program Vlasna Spra in the Carpathian region. Among them are 35 veterans and 26 family members of military personnel. Thanks to the implementation of grant projects in the oblast, 113 new jobs will be created.

Lviv oblast

As part of the Travel Therapy project, a day of rest was organized at Apartel Skhidnytsya for soldiers undergoing rehabilitation at the Halychyna centers, Next Step Ukraine and HAB | Lviv Habilitation Center. The defenders had the opportunity to emotionally recharge, change their environment, relax in the SPA area and communicate with their colleagues outside of hospitals.

Rivne oblast

Valentyn Derelo, veteran from Rivne oblast, took 2nd place at the 11th All-Ukrainian KORDON RACE competition, which took place in Lviv oblast. Participants overcame a difficult route with forest routes, water and swampy areas, as well as natural and artificial obstacles.

Ternopil oblast

The fighters of the 105th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade received 13 General Chereshnya FPV attack drones from Ternopil community.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

Khmelnytskyi community has donated 12 quadcopters worth UAH 1.8m to the Defense Forces. They donated 12 units.

Chernivtsi oblast

2 more banners with portraits of compatriots who gave their lives and health for Ukraine appeared on the Alley of Heroes’ Glory in the village of Maly Kuchuriv. From now on, the memory of Volodymyr Budzhak and Oleksandr Horozhansky is immortalized here, along with other Heroes of the community.

International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)

The US is launching production of armored vehicles for Ukraine. The Textron Systems plant in Louisiana has resumed production of 65 MSFV armored vehicles for Ukraine. The line had not been operating for over 7 years and was restarted specifically for a Ukrainian contract. The vehicles with a V-shaped bottom for mine protection should arrive as part of the US program by the end of 2026. The package also includes training of Ukrainian crews and technical support.

Kata Tutto, President of the European Committee of the Regions, arrived in Kyiv on a visit. During the visit, meetings were held dedicated to the reconstruction of Ukraine, the development of communities and strengthening cooperation between Ukrainian and European regions.
