It has been the 1595  th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

Just think about it: Russia killed 50 people in Kyiv in just one week. Nineteen civilians were killed on 6 July, following another 31 deaths in the Russian attack on 2 July.

 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 4 pm:   

Since the beginning of the day, Russian forces have launched 88 attacks against the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

Russian artillery continues to shell border areas. Today, in Sumy Oblast, the settlements of Korenok, Ryzhivka, Volfyne, Hirky, Yastrubshchyna, Tovstodubove, Kucherivka, Sopych, and Bachivsk came under fire. In Chernihiv Oblast, the settlements of Kliusy, Semenivka, and Buchky were shelled. The town of Khutir-Mykhailivskyi was struck by an air attack.

On the North Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, Russian forces carried out 30 attacks against populated areas and Ukrainian positions, including two strikes using multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).

On the South Slobozhanskyi direction, Russian troops made seven attempts to break through Ukrainian defenses near Starytsia, Lyman, Artilne, and toward Khatnie.

On the Kupiansk direction, the enemy launched one assault toward Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi.

On the Lyman direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled seven attempts by Russian forces to advance toward Borova, Lyman, Ozerne, and Dibrova. One engagement is ongoing.

On the Sloviansk direction, the Defense Forces repelled 16 Russian assaults toward Kryva Luka, Rai-Oleksandrivka, and in the areas of Riznykivka and Zakitne.

No offensive actions by Russian forces were recorded on the Kramatorsk direction.

On the Kostiantynivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled nine attacks near Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, and Ivanopillia. Two engagements are still ongoing.

On the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces attempted 29 times to push Ukrainian troops from their positions near Ivanivka, Dorozhne, Hryshyne, Udachne, Muravka, Molodetske, and toward Vilne, Kucheriv Yar, Bilytske, Novyi Donbas, Shevchenko, Myrne, and Serhiivka. Two clashes are ongoing.

On the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy launched four assaults near Kalynivske and toward Verbove.

On the Huliaipole direction, Ukrainian forces repelled 15 Russian attacks toward Dobropillia, Hirke, Tsvitkove, Staroukrainka, Vozdvyzhivka, Verkhnia Tersa, Huliaipilske, and Charivne. Two engagements remain ongoing.

No offensive activity was recorded on the Orikhiv and Prydniprovske directions.

No significant changes have been observed on other fronts, and no additional Russian attempts to advance have been recorded.

Ukrainian forces continue to wear down Russian troops along the entire front line and deep behind enemy lines.

Ukrainian Strikes on Russian Military Infrastructure

Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck two Russian defense industry facilities involved in weapons production.

The first target was the Kremniy EL Group plant in Bryansk, which manufactures electronic components used in command-and-control systems, electronic warfare equipment, and weapons for the Russian military.

Ukrainian forces also struck the Bryansky Chemical Plant in Seltso, which produces gunpowder, explosives, and components for rocket propellants.

In addition, Ukrainian forces hit:

  • the fuel depot at Belgorod Air Base;
  • two railway bridges in occupied Crimea;
  • logistics and supply depots in Donetsk Oblast.

Canada Provides New Air Defense Package

Ukraine has received a significant new air defense package from Canada, with part of the new deliveries already on their way to Ukraine.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy did not disclose the specific systems included but emphasized that additional military deliveries from Canada are expected in the near future.

 

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Kharkiv oblast

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 255 combat engagements were recorded over the past 24 hours. On the South Slobozhanskyi axis, Russian forces launched eight attacks against Ukrainian defensive positions near Vovchansk and Starytsia, as well as toward Volokhivka, Izbytske, and Chaikivka. On the Kupiansk axis, Russian troops carried out one assault toward Radkivka.

On the Pokrovsk axis, Russian forces have significantly reduced the use of armored vehicles, relying instead on intensified drone strikes and airpower, according to Danylo Borysenko, Chief of Staff of the Air Defense Missile and Artillery Battalion of the Rubizh Brigade. At the same time, the Azov Corps reported that its units destroyed more than 4,000 Russian drones of various types during June—an average of approximately 135 UAVs per day.

On the morning of 7 July, Russian forces launched an airstrike on the Shevchenkivskyi District of Kharkiv, dropping three guided aerial bombs (KABs). According to the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, the attack killed a 54-year-old man and injured 20 civilians, including four children. A 12-year-old boy sustained blast injuries, while three other children and two women suffered acute stress reactions. The strike also damaged residential buildings, civilian vehicles, and road infrastructure.

Later the same day, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv with a fiber-optic FPV drone, which struck a gas station in the Shevchenkivskyi District, according to the regional prosecutor’s office. Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, stated that Ukraine’s Defense Forces intercepted at least 16 FPV drones during the day, although one UAV managed to reach its target. A guided aerial bomb also struck the grounds of an inactive restaurant and recreation complex in Mala Danylivka, while a residential house was damaged in the village of Lisne.

According to the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Russian attacks over the past 24 hours targeted Kharkiv and eight other settlements across the region, injuring four people. Russian forces employed one guided aerial bomb (KAB), two Geran-2 loitering munitions, three Molniya UAVs, two FPV drones, and 29 additional drones of unidentified type. The attacks damaged railway infrastructure and a gas station in Kharkiv, residential buildings and farm structures in Bohodukhiv District, a tractor in Kupiansk District, a house and a gas station in Kharkiv District, and an administrative building in Chuhuiv District.

In Lozova, residents bid farewell to 10-year-old Viktoriia Kravchenko, who died from severe burns and injuries sustained during the Russian strike on 3 July. Doctors fought for her life for more than a day but were unable to save her.

Over the past 24 hours, the transit evacuation center in Lozova received 185 evacuees. Since its opening, the center has registered 44,375 people evacuated from frontline and high-risk areas.

Donetsk oblast

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian forces launched 24 attacks on the Lyman axis over the past 24 hours. Fighting took place near Yampil, Nadiia, Novoselivka, and Derylove, as well as in the directions of Borova, Stavky, Cherneshchyna, Drobysheve, Lyman, Ozerne, and Dibrova. Ukrainian defenders also repelled 24 assaults on the Sloviansk axis, 36 attacks on the Pokrovsk axis, and 34 attacks on the Kostiantynivka axis.

On the Pokrovsk axis, servicemembers of Ukraine’s 147th Separate Artillery Brigade are employing middle-strike unmanned aerial systems to engage Russian targets deep behind enemy lines. According to Artur Homeniuk, commander of the brigade’s artillery reconnaissance battalion, these UAVs are capable of striking targets at distances of up to 300 kilometers.

On the morning of 7 July, a Russian strike in Kramatorsk set a passenger vehicle on fire, according to the State Emergency Service of Donetsk Oblast. No casualties were reported. Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Ministry of Energy stated that 12 energy sector workers were injured as a result of Russian attacks on the region’s energy infrastructure. Parts of Donetsk Oblast remain without electricity, while emergency repair crews continue restoration efforts.

On 6 July, Russian forces carried out 1,253 strikes against frontline positions and civilian areas across Donetsk Oblast, according to the regional police. Seven settlements came under attack. The shelling damaged 35 civilian facilities, including 14 residential buildings, and 19 people were injured.

In Kramatorsk, Russian forces launched 11 strikes using KAB-250 guided aerial bombs and drones. Fourteen civilians were injured. The attack damaged an apartment building, a non-residential building, two gas stations, and 11 vehicles. In Druzhkivka, Russian forces attacked with a KAB-250 bomb and three FPV drones, injuring two civilians and damaging three apartment buildings and one private house.

In Bilozerske, two people were injured in drone strikes, while another civilian was wounded in Samiilivka. Russian forces shelled Sloviansk with Smerch multiple-launch rocket systems, damaging five private homes. In Novodonetske, an apartment building, an infrastructure facility, and a vehicle were damaged. In Raihorodok, two private houses and a shop sustained damage.

In temporarily occupied Mariupol, the Russian occupation administration has transferred more than 500 apartments confiscated from their lawful owners to participants of the so-called “special military operation” (SMO) and employees of the occupation authorities, according to the Mariupol City Council. The council also reported that the occupation authorities plan to distribute approximately 2,000 additional confiscated apartments during the next phase.

Luhansk oblast

According to Oleksii Kharchenko, Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Russian forces shelled frontline communities in Luhansk Oblast 38 times over the past 24 hours. The attacks included 21 strikes involving FPV drones and drone-dropped munitions, five mortar attacks, five strikes with tube artillery, and five attacks using automatic grenade launchers. On the Lyman axis, Russian forces launched 24 assaults against Ukrainian defensive positions, including near the village of Nadiia.

The socio-economic situation in the temporarily occupied areas of Luhansk Oblast continues to deteriorate amid a growing fuel crisis. According to the regional administration, gasoline prices in Luhansk have nearly doubled, shortages of foreign currency persist, and residents are increasingly stockpiling non-perishable food and essential goods. Local authorities also report growing concerns among residents over the possible resumption of forced mobilization into the Russian occupation forces.

Residents of the temporarily occupied city of Alchevsk continue to report critically poor tap water quality. Water supplied to households contains black sediment and debris, making it unsuitable not only for drinking but also for everyday domestic use. According to the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, the occupation authorities have taken no meaningful steps to address the problem and continue to ignore repeated complaints from local residents.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

Following Russia’s massive overnight attack on 6 July, the death toll in Kyiv has risen to 19 people, including one child, while 61 people were injured, among them seven children. According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES), search and rescue operations at both strike sites in the Podilskyi and Darnytskyi districts were completed on 7 July. Emergency recovery and stabilization work is continuing at both locations. In total, 394 emergency responders and 95 units of SES equipment were deployed to deal with the aftermath of the attack. 

According to the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, as of the evening of 6 July, the overnight Russian attack on Kyiv Oblast had claimed 10 lives. The Kyiv Regional Military Administration reported that 48 people were injured, 20 of whom were hospitalized, with three in critical condition. The highest number of casualties was recorded in Bucha District, while additional injuries were reported in the Boryspil, Brovary, and Fastiv districts.

In the city of Vyshneve, the large-scale Russian strike killed seven people and injured 29 others, including four emergency responders. The attack triggered a major fire at warehouse facilities, followed by secondary explosions. As a result, more than 600 people were evacuated from hazardous areas. Among them were 117 civilians who had been sheltering in a bomb shelter located near the epicenter of the blast. Numerous homes on several streets were destroyed or damaged.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko stated that 13 hectares of residential development in Vyshneve had been damaged, describing it as the largest destruction of residential housing in a single area since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion. Since the night of the attack, 500 State Emergency Service personnel and more than 400 police officers have been working at the scene. Emergency assistance centers have been established to provide immediate support and advise residents on compensation procedures.

The 6 July Russian attack also damaged the Kyiv office of Channel 5 (5 Kanal) for the second time since the beginning of the full-scale war. According to the broadcaster’s Director General, Volodymyr Mzhelskyi, part of the television studio was destroyed, the newsroom was damaged, and some filming equipment was lost. No staff members were injured. Despite the damage, the broadcaster has continued operating, temporarily broadcasting from YouTube studios and remote workstations.

The overnight attack also damaged an academic building and a student dormitory of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv at the VDNG campus. Windows and doors in the academic building were shattered, and the dormitory also sustained damage.

Meanwhile, a three-day Tactical Medicine training course for young people was held in Kyiv Oblast. According to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, the program combined classroom instruction with intensive practical exercises designed to develop lifesaving first aid skills for high-risk and emergency situations.

Zhytomyr oblast

Under Ukraine’s eVidnovlennia (eRecovery) state program, 212 housing certificates have been issued in Zhytomyr Oblast to compensate owners of homes destroyed as a result of Russia’s armed aggression, with a total value of UAH 217 million. In addition, more than UAH 140 million has been allocated to compensate homeowners for the repair of damaged housing. The information was provided by the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration. 

Sumy oblast

Over the past week, Ukraine’s Defense Forces destroyed or suppressed 1,243 Russian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over Sumy Oblast. According to the Territorial Defense headquarters, 1,424 enemy UAVs were detected over the region during the reporting period. Thanks to the coordinated efforts of Ukraine’s Air Defense Forces and electronic warfare (EW) units, 87% of all detected drones were either destroyed or neutralized.

At approximately 13:00 on 7 July, Russian forces attacked the town of Mykolaivka with two unguided drones, causing at least four explosions. According to community head Serhii Pasko, three civilians were injured. A fire broke out at the scene, and four residential houses were damaged.

In the city of Sumy, police explosives specialists safely neutralized an FPV drone that had fallen into the yard of a private home. Although it failed to detonate, the drone posed a serious threat to nearby residents.

On 6 July, a Russian drone struck a civilian household in the border Velyka Pysarivka community, killing the homeowner. According to the Sumy Regional Military Administration, he would have turned 58 years old the following day.

Also on 6 July, a Russian UAV hit a residential building in the Stetskivka community. A 65-year-old man who was on the property sustained critical injuries and later died in hospital.

The Russian strike on Sumy on 3 July also damaged the “Zlahoda” Day Care Center, part of the municipal social services institution Berehynia. The facility provided social rehabilitation services for people with disabilities and educational activities for older adults through the University of the Third Age. Due to extensive damage caused by the blast wave, all activities have been temporarily suspended.

Between the morning of 6 July and the morning of 7 July, Russian forces carried out nearly 60 attacks on 20 settlements across 12 territorial communities in Sumy Oblast. The heaviest shelling was recorded in the Sumy and Shostka districts. Russian forces employed mortars, tube artillery, FPV drones, UAVs, and guided aerial bombs. During the same 24-hour period, air raid alerts remained in effect across the region for 17 hours and 16 minutes.

As of the morning of 7 July, three civilians had been killed in Russian attacks across Sumy Oblast. The strikes also caused widespread destruction of private homes, vehicles, and civilian infrastructure.

In the Velyka Pysarivka community, a 57-year-old man was killed when a Russian drone struck a private household, destroying part of the residence.

In the Sumy community, a 66-year-old man sustained critical injuries in a Russian drone strike and later died in hospital. The attack also damaged a private house and several vehicles. A 44-year-old woman, who had been injured in the 3 July guided bomb attack on Sumy, also sought medical treatment.

A 75-year-old woman, injured during a Russian drone strike on the Popivka community on 1 July, was also admitted for medical care.

Elsewhere across the region, Russian attacks caused extensive damage to civilian infrastructure. In the Znob-Novhorodske community, a private home was destroyed, farm buildings and civilian infrastructure were damaged, and two residents injured in an earlier attack on 4 July sought medical assistance. In the Bilopillia community, a passenger vehicle was destroyed, while apartment buildings, private homes, a shopping center, and commercial premises were damaged. Civilian infrastructure was also damaged in the Okhtyrka and Vorozhba communities. Non-residential buildings and vehicles were damaged in the Putyvl community. In the Seredyna-Buda community, a private house was damaged and a civilian infrastructure facility was destroyed. Private homes were destroyed in the Esman community, while in the Hlukhiv community Russian attacks destroyed a non-residential building and several vehicles.

During the reporting period, five civilians were evacuated from border communities through the joint efforts of local authorities, the State Emergency Service, the National Police, and humanitarian organizations.

 

Chernihiv oblast

During 6 July, border guards of Ukraine’s 105th Border Guard Detachment shot down nine Russian UAVs over Chernihiv Oblast, according to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. The intercepted drones included four Shahed attack drones, four Gerbera decoy drones, and one Molniya UAV.

The town of Semenivka came under Russian attack twice on 7 July. At approximately 02:24, an FPV drone struck a residential area, damaging a private home and a civilian vehicle. At around 06:46, a Molniya-type UAV hit civilian infrastructure, according to Oleksandr Seliverstov, Head of the Novhorod-Siverskyi District Military Administration.

At approximately 03:00, a Russian Molniya UAV struck a residential neighborhood in Novhorod-Siverskyi, damaging a private house. Around 05:00, another Molniya drone hit the town, damaging a residential building and an outbuilding.

During the evening of 6 July, Russian Gerbera and Geran drones attacked the town of Koriukivka in Chernihiv Oblast. According to Viacheslav Chaus, Head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, the strikes targeted a woodworking enterprise and an energy infrastructure facility.

The 6 July Russian attack left more than 35,000 electricity consumers without power in the Novhorod-Siverskyi and Koriukivka districts, according to Chernihivoblenergo.

Over the same 24-hour period, Russian forces attacked three border communities in Chernihiv Oblast—Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, and Horodnia—according to the Chernihiv Border Guard Detachment. The attacks included 11 mortar explosions, six tube artillery strikes, one Molniya UAV strike, and 11 FPV drone attacks.

Since the beginning of July, 14 forest fires have been recorded in Chernihiv Oblast, affecting a total area of 15.3 hectares. According to the Northern Forest Office, 13 of these fires were caused by Russia’s military aggression.

 

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

6 regions of the oblast came under enemy attack.

Kryvyi Rih region. In the morning, a fire broke out in Kryvyi Rih. The russian forces once again attacked a logistics company by UAVs. Vehicles were damaged.

Nikopol region. The russian forces shelled the regional centre, Marhanets, Myrove and Pokrovske urban communities by artillery and drones. A private house, 2 outbuildings, a vehicle and a psycho-neurological care facility were damaged.

Synelnykove region. A KAB strike in Pokrovske community set an outbuilding on fire. An apartment building and a vehicle were damaged in Shakhtarske community.

Dnipro. A UAV attack in Pidhorodne community caused a fire at a private enterprise.

Samar region. A UAV strike caused a fire in Samar. Warehouses storing agricultural machinery were damaged.

Kamianske region. A UAV struck a gas station in Kamianske, causing a fire.

 

Nikopol region. 5 people, including a 9-year-old boy, were injured in Nikopol. The russian forces attacked the regional centre, Marhanets, Pokrovske rural, Chervonohryhorivka and Tomakivka communities by artillery and drones. Fires broke out. 7 apartment buildings, a gas station, vehicles, a minibus, a vehicle service station and infrastructure were damaged.

Synelnykove region. 2 KABs struck Vasylkivka community, damaging a private house. A wheat field caught fire. Also, a UAV strike in Mezhova community caused a fire.

Kamianske region. A UAV attack in Piatykhatky community caused a fire and damaged infrastructure.

Kryvyi Rih region. The russian forces attacked Hrushivka community by UAVs.

Kirovohrad oblast

Residents of Kropyvnytskyi paid tribute to servicemen Volodymyr Redka, Serhii Pravylo and Maksym Zhukarin.

Serhii Pravylo was killed on 1 July 2026, while carrying out a combat mission in Kharkiv oblast. He was 33 years old.

Volodymyr Redka was killed on 4 June 2025, while carrying out a combat mission near Oleksiivka village in Volnovakha region, Donetsk oblast. He had been considered missing in action since then. A DNA examination confirmed his death on 30 June 2026. He was 30 years old.

Maksym Zhukarin was killed on 1 March 2025, during a small arms engagement near Novenke village in Sumy oblast. He had been considered missing in action since then. A DNA examination confirmed his death on 17 June 2026. He was 29 years old.

 

Tetiana Zaichenko, Head of Adzhamka community of Kirovohrad oblast, reported that authorities are creating a database of homeowners as part of the state housing initiative for internally displaced persons, A House in the Village. The maximum property value under the program is UAH 500,000. The community is considering additional funding from the local budget. More than 15 houses have already been inspected and added to the list.

Poltava oblast

Vitalii Diakivnych, Head of the Regional Military Administration, reported that on the morning of 7 July, a russian UAV attacked a railway infrastructure enterprise in Poltava oblast. One of the enterprise’s buildings was damaged. The number of people injured in the morning russian attack has risen to 3. One person received medical assistance at the scene, another was taken to a medical facility and a third sought medical help independently.

 

During the day, a UAV crashed onto a roadway in Myrhorod region. The blast wave damaged the roofs and windows of nearby houses.

 

The community will pay tribute to serviceman Vadym Honcharuk from Horishni Plavni. He was killed on 13 June 2026, during combat operations near Rubizhne settlement in Donetsk oblast.

 

The City Council plans to approve compensation for homeowners whose properties were damaged as a result of russian armed aggression. The total amount of compensation exceeds UAH 2.3m. 52 applicants are expected to receive compensation for the restoration of damaged housing.

Cherkasy oblast

The death of defender Oleh Tkachenko from Zvenyhorodka has been confirmed. He was killed on 13 February 2024, while carrying out a combat mission near Avdiivka city in Pokrovsk region, Donetsk oblast.

 

Mykola Bohdan, a resident of Vilkhovets village in Zvenyhorodka community, was awarded the For Wounds medal.

 

5 fallen servicemen from Zvenyhorodka were posthumously honored with state awards.

The Knight’s Cross Honorary Breast Badge of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine was awarded posthumously to: Soldier Oleksandr Lavrychenko, a resident of Bahacheve; Sergeant Ruslan Hoibov, a resident of Bahacheve.

The Order For Courage, 3rd Class was awarded posthumously to: Soldier Serhii Filimonenko, a resident of Lisove village; Soldier Taras Prybluda, a resident of Radchykha village; Sergeant Oleksandr Sirenko, a resident of Kozatske village.

The awards were presented to the families of the fallen defenders.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

Ivan Fedorov, Head of Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported that a russian UAV struck the territory of one of the transport enterprises in Zaporizhzhia. As a result of the attack, a truck caught fire and vehicles were damaged. According to preliminary information, there were no injuries reported.

 

2 women, aged 48 and 25, were injured as a result of a repeated shelling of Zaporizhzhia. A russian UAV strike damaged high-rise buildings in one of the city’s districts and caused a fire in an open area. The injured are receiving medical assistance.

 

A woman was injured during a russian attack on Zaporizhzhia during the day. She sustained blast injuries.

 

Today, a russian UAV struck a high-rise building in one of Zaporizhzhia’s districts. The strike caused a fire.

 

Yesterday, an 18-year-old woman, a 41-year-old man and a 31-year-old man were killed, while 28 people were injured as a result of attacks on the regional centre and Zaporizhzhia oblast. Over the past day, the russian forces launched 1,163 strikes on 45 settlements across Zaporizhzhia oblast. The russian forces used various types of UAVs most extensively, primarily FPV drones.

 

Referring to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the past day, the Defence Forces repelled 17 russian attacks in Huliaipole and Orikhiv regions. In particular, Ukrainian defenders stopped 3 russian attempts to advance towards Lukianivske, near Mali Shcherbaky and in the directions of Dobropillia, Vozdvyzhivka, Tsvitkove and Huliaipilske.

 

Mykolaiv oblast

Vitalii Kim, Head of Mykolaiv RMA, informed that over the past day, russian forces attacked Mishkovo-Pohorilove, Ochakiv and Kutsurub communities by missiles and drones. As a result of the strikes, 3 people were injured. 2 men are currently hospitalised, one of them in serious condition, while one woman is receiving outpatient treatment.

 

Odesa oblast

Oleh Kiper, Head of Odesa RMA, stated that russian forces struck Odesa oblast by a ballistic missile carrying a cluster warhead on the evening of 7 July. As a result of the attack, a building on the premises of a manufacturing enterprise and several vehicles caught fire. Preliminary reports indicate that 3 people were injured. 6 injured people were hospitalised following the missile attack on Odesa, including one person in serious condition. The injured include a 58-year-old woman and 5 men aged between 37 and 69.

 

According to the Air Command South, on 7 July, Khorunzhyi interceptor UAV crew shot down 5 russian Shahed attack drones over Odesa oblast.

 

Based on the information provided by the Ukrainian Air Force, at around 9am, a group of UAVs was detected over the Black Sea, heading towards Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi region.

 

In the morning, a jet-powered UAV was detected flying from the Black Sea towards Odesa oblast (Chornomorsk).

 

Kherson oblast

Relying on the information provided by Kherson RMA, 2 men were injured today as a result of russian shelling of Korabelnyi district of Kherson. The 55-year-old and 35-year-old residents sustained blast injuries, concussions and acute stress reactions.

 

Today, at around 2:30pm, a 72-year-old woman came under russian shelling in Korabelnyi district of the city. She sustained blast injuries.

 

A woman who was injured in yesterday’s russian airstrike on Kherson sought medical assistance. The 35-year-old woman was diagnosed with blast injuries, a concussion, traumatic brain injury and an acute stress reaction.

 

At around 11am, near Borozenske, russian forces attacked an agricultural worker by a UAV. The occupiers struck a vehicle harvesting crops in a field. As a result, the 42-year-old man sustained shrapnel wounds to the torso, arms and legs, a concussion, blast injuries and a closed traumatic brain injury.

 

At around 10am, russian forces attacked Dniprovskyi district of Kherson by a UAV. A woman sustained blast injuries, a closed traumatic brain injury and a concussion.

 

At around 9:10am, russian forces attacked 

 Dniprovskyi district of Kherson by a drone. A 44-year-old man was injured. He sustained blast injuries.

 

At around 9am, russian forces attacked a vehicle by a UAV in Dniprovskyi district of Kherson. A 71-year-old man who was nearby came under the attack. According to preliminary information, he sustained blast injuries.

 

At around 8:30am, russian forces attacked a vehicle by a UAV in Korabelnyi district of Kherson. A 53-year-old man came under the attack. According to preliminary information, he sustained blast injuries.

 

At around 5pm yesterday, russian forces attacked a man by a drone in Mykilske, Darivka community. The 46-year-old resident was diagnosed with shrapnel wounds to the chest, a concussion, blast injuries and a closed traumatic brain injury.

 

The number of people injured in yesterday’s russian airstrike on the central part of Kherson has risen to 3. A 47-year-old woman and a 48-year-old man sought medical assistance. They sustained concussions, blast injuries and acute stress reactions.

 

Yesterday afternoon, russian forces attacked a man by a drone in Shliakhove village, Beryslav community. The 55-year-old man sustained blast injuries and shrapnel wounds to his back.

 

A woman who had sustained severe injuries during the russian attack on a route taxi in

Tsentralnyi district of Kherson on the morning of 1 July died in hospital.

Volyn oblast

The Podoliany CF from Ternopil has donated modern Ukrainian books to the library of the village of Dubishche in Volyn oblast. The books will help replenish the library after thousands of russian-language publications were confiscated.

Zakarpattia oblast

Uzhhorod City Council and the United for Animals Foundation signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. The Memorandum provides for cooperation in the field of protection, rescue, proper maintenance and assistance to animals, support for humanitarian and charitable initiatives, as well as the formation of a humane and responsible attitude towards animals in the community.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

Ivano-Frankivsk community sent 20 children to rest in the Polish city of Chrzanów. These are children of defenders from the 102nd Territorial Defense Brigade, as well as children from families of fallen, captured and missing Heroes.

Large-scale military-patriotic training for youth completed in Lviv oblast Huardsman-2026. For 2 weeks, instructors from the National Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine and the Vasyl Vyshyvany Training Center taught young people the basics of tactical medicine, riflemanship and sappership.

The RMA reported that as part of the implementation of the regional comprehensive program, a 2-day retreat for veterans and their wives was held in the oblast.

Ternopil oblast

Ternopil Regional Clinical Hospital has received modern medical equipment as part of Ukrainian-Polish cooperation. The facility received a digital electrocardiograph and surgical aspirators, which are already being used to provide specialized care to patients.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

The RMA reported that as part of the implementation of the regional comprehensive program, a 2-day retreat for veterans and their wives was held in the oblast.

Chernivtsi oblast

19 Mariupol families have received social housing in Chernivtsi. This is the 2nd wave of settlement, thanks to which 52 families, including 37 children, now live in the house.

International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)

The UK has imposed sanctions on the developers of Novichok and other chemical weapons. The sanctions include the state-owned Signal Research Institute and three individuals involved in the research and production of Novichok and epibatidine, a highly toxic chemical.
