It has been the 1512  th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 4 pm:   

Since the beginning of the day, the aggressor has carried out 58 attacks on the positions of the Defense Forces.

Artillery shelling of border areas continues. Today, in the Sumy region, the settlements of Tovstodubove, Bachivsk, Iskryskivshchyna, Yastrubshchyna, Atynske, Ryzhivka, Korenok, Budky, Volfyne, Neskuchne, Znob-Trubchevska, Rohizne, and Prohres have been affected. Bezdryk and Khomyne were subjected to enemy airstrikes.

In the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, the enemy carried out two airstrikes, dropped four guided bombs, and conducted 49 attacks on populated areas and our troops’ positions, two of which involved multiple launch rocket systems.

In the South-Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy twice attempted to assault our positions near the settlements of Starytsia and Vovchansk; one engagement is ongoing.

In the Kupiansk direction, our defenders repelled two enemy assaults toward Novoplatonivka.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian forces repelled three attempts by the invaders to advance toward the settlements of Shyikivka, Novoserhiivka, and Lyman.

In the Sloviansk direction, the enemy has not conducted active operations since the beginning of the day.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy launched three attacks near Minkivka, Nykyforivka, and toward Fedorivka.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, the invaders carried out 11 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, and toward Illinivka and Novopavlivka. Two engagements are ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy carried out 22 attacks. The occupiers attempted to advance near the settlements of Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Hryshyne, Muravka, Novomykolaivka, Molodetske, Filiia, and toward Novooleksandrivka, Bilytske, and Ivanivka. Five engagements are still ongoing.

In the Oleksandrivskyi direction, the enemy launched two offensives near Oleksandrohrad. The outskirts of Pidhavrylivka were hit by an airstrike.

In the Huliaipole direction, nine enemy attacks took place near Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Pryluky, and toward Dobropillia, Huliaipilske, and Staroukrainka. The enemy also carried out airstrikes near Vozdvyzhivka, Charivne, and Kopani.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy conducted an airstrike on the city of Orikhiv.

In the Prydniprovske direction, the enemy launched three unsuccessful attacks toward the Antonivskyi Bridge. One more engagement is currently ongoing.

No significant changes in the situation have been observed in other directions. No enemy attempts to advance have been recorded.

Ukrainian forces are exhausting the enemy along the entire line of contact and in the rear.

UAH 9 billion is a support package formed by regions and communities to support veterans locally for 2026. The package covers key areas of veteran policy and co-financing of state infrastructure projects in the regions. This year, the completion of construction and opening of major Veteran Centers in the regions is planned.

The initiative of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, will launch the formation of a new architecture for the functioning of veteran communities, strengthening the importance of their status and role in community life. Veterans will receive Centers that provide a “one-stop-shop” service, infrastructure for large events and sports competitions, and will become places of strength for everyone. Regions and communities are united around this important task and are mobilizing the necessary resources for its implementation. All issues are under the personal control of each regional head.

In Russia, three Azov fighters have been sentenced to prison terms ranging from 5 to 19 years. A court in Rostov-on-Don delivered sentences to three Ukrainians captured during the siege of the Azovstal plant in Mariupol, according to Mediazona, citing the court’s press service. All three were charged due to their service in the Azov Battalion. Among those convicted: Serhii Blyzniuk was sentenced to 18 years in prison; Hennadii Bybochkin received 19 years in a high-security colony; Volodymyr Reva was sentenced to 5.5 years in a penal colony.

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Kharkiv oblast

Frontline

As of 16:00, since the beginning of the day, Russian forces have twice assaulted the positions of Ukrainian units in the areas of Starytsia and Vovchansk; one engagement is ongoing. Two more assaults were recorded toward Novoplatonivka.

Over the past 24 hours, 212 combat engagements were recorded along the front line. In the South-Slobozhanskyi direction, Russian forces attempted nine times to break through Ukrainian defenses near Vovchansk, Starytsia, and Lyman. In the Kupiansk direction, the occupiers carried out ten attacks toward Kurylivka, Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, Nova Kruhlakivka, Zahryzove, Bohuslavka, and Novoplatonivka.

Shelling

Klynova Novoselivka of the Zolochiv community came under Russian drone strikes around 13:00. The attack caused a fire and damaged a residential building, хозяйственные structures, and power grids.

As a result of shelling in the Kharkiv region, five people were injured. In Derhachi, three men aged 42, 43, and 46 were wounded. In Cherkaska Lozova of the Malodanylivka community, a 37-year-old man and a 74-year-old woman were injured.

Russian forces also attacked the Kyivskyi and Osnovianskyi districts of Kharkiv with drones. In total, across the region, they used 14 guided aerial bombs (KABs), 12 “Geran-2” type drones, one “Lancet,” four “Molniya” drones, four FPV drones, and 17 unidentified UAVs.

The strikes damaged civilian infrastructure. In Kharkiv, three private houses and a non-residential building were damaged. In Bohodukhiv district, a private house and power lines were damaged; in Kupiansk district, residential buildings, хозяйственные structures, and power lines were affected. In Kharkiv district, civilian enterprises and vehicles were damaged, while in Chuhuiv district, power lines and railway infrastructure were hit.

Other

A transit evacuation center in Lozova received 200 people over the past day. Since its opening, 28,307 people have been registered there.

The last 10 children from the Borova community are expected to be evacuated within one to two weeks. Over the past three months, more than 160 people have left the community.

Evacuation measures have also been intensified in the Kupiansk district. A total of 756 people, including 74 children, are to be evacuated from 12 settlements of the Shevchenkivska community. In 11 settlements of the Velykoburlutska community, mandatory evacuation has been announced for 34 families with 54 children.

During a meeting of the Regional Defense Council, participants also discussed expanding the network of safe educational environments in communities where it is difficult to equip full shelters, as well as preparing the region for the heating season. This includes connecting high-capacity generators to strengthen the energy resilience of the Kharkiv region.

Separately, during an international scientific and technical conference in the Kharkiv region, participants discussed the development of Ukraine’s nuclear energy sector under wartime conditions. The focus was on nuclear power plant safety, energy resilience amid Russian attacks on infrastructure, the development of small modular reactors, and new technical solutions for the stable operation of critical systems.

Donetsk oblast

Frontline

In the Lyman direction, Russian forces attempted 12 times to break through the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, attacking toward Novoserhiivka, Lyman, Drobyshcheve, and Dibrova. In the Pokrovsk direction, the occupiers carried out 42 attacks, and in the Kostiantynivka direction — 31.

On April 14 and during the night of April 15, the Defense Forces struck Russian military targets in the Donetsk region. A drone storage facility, fuel tanks, supply depots, and troop concentration areas were hit.

With changing weather conditions, Russian forces have intensified their offensives along almost the entire front line. The heaviest fighting over the past month has been taking place in the Donetsk region.

Shelling

On April 15, Russian forces struck the village of Seleznivka in the Mykolaiv community with two FAB-250 aerial bombs.

In the morning, Russian troops also carried out an airstrike on Sloviansk using a FAB-1500 bomb. As a result of the attack, five people were injured, including a 57-year-old man with shrapnel wounds. Two administrative buildings were destroyed and another was damaged. At least 39 apartment buildings and 15 vehicles were damaged. Rescue workers evacuated residents from eight apartments in five-story buildings.

On April 15, Russian forces attacked Druzhkivka with an FPV drone, injuring a 54-year-old man. One of those wounded in the shelling of Sloviansk the same day will be transferred to Dnipro for treatment.

On April 14, Russian forces carried out 1,120 attacks along the front line and on residential areas of the Donetsk region. Kramatorsk, Mykolaivka, Sviatohirsk, Bilenke, Sviatohorivka, Vysokopillia, and Myrna Dolyna were under fire. Twelve civilian objects were damaged, including eight residential buildings.

 

Other

In Mykolaivka, a civilian was injured as a result of two strikes, and residential buildings were damaged. In Kramatorsk, a drone damaged three private houses; in Bilenke, an FPV drone struck a civilian vehicle. In Sviatohirsk, a drone hit a church, with no casualties reported, while in Vysokopillia a truck was destroyed. In Sviatohorivka, a KAB-250 strike damaged both an apartment building and a private house.

In the village of Nekremen­ne of the Oleksandrivka community, 267 residents remain despite the proximity to the front line and homes damaged by shelling. Around 2,850 people live in the Lyman community, with the number of those wishing to evacuate increasing.

The documentary film “Isolation” tells the story of how a former art center in Donetsk was turned into a torture site after the outbreak of the war. The film highlights незаконне detention, including that of writer Stanislav Aseev, and emphasizes the need to bring those responsible to justice.

 

Luhansk oblast

Over the past day, Russian forces carried out 16 assault operations in the Lyman and Sloviansk directions, attempting to advance near seven settlements. In the Luhansk region, the occupiers fired mortars 11 times, used grenade launchers five times, and deployed tube artillery twice. In six cases, combat missions were carried out using drones.

The occupation authorities are once again planning to extend the deadline for re-registering housing under Russian legislation in the so-called “LNR.” At the end of 2025, this deadline was shortened to July 1, 2026, but this did not produce the expected results. Now, Russian authorities intend to allow such procedures until 2028.

Internet providers in the occupied Luhansk region are also being forced to cooperate with Russian security services. To obtain a license, they must install SORM-2 system equipment at their own expense, enabling intelligence agencies to monitor internet traffic.

 

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

At night, the enemy attacked the Kyiv region with drones. As a result of the strike, a production facility of an enterprise was damaged in Bila Tserkva, and outbuildings of two private households were damaged in the Obukhiv district. Fires broke out at the impact sites but were promptly extinguished by emergency services.

After a Russian drone strike on the New Safe Confinement at the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant in February 2025, restoration work is still ongoing. Part of the structure’s airtightness has been lost; however, the shelter continues to contain radioactive materials inside the destroyed fourth reactor unit. This was reported by the State Specialized Enterprise “Chornobyl NPP.”

In Bila Tserkva, construction of a radiation shelter for the Mechanical and Energy Applied College is ongoing, according to the Department of Regional Development of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, which is overseeing the project. The shelter is planned to include spaces for education and accommodation, areas for storing water and food, as well as technical zones to ensure communication and the operation of engineering systems.

On April 14, Kyiv hosted the first-ever Ruslan Hanushchak Documentary Award ceremony. This new annual award honors military cameramen, photographers, and correspondents who document the war while risking their lives, according to Detector Media. Around 120 submissions were received for the competition.

Zhytomyr oblast

At the state university “Zhytomyr Polytechnic” on April 15, staff from the regional blood center organized a mobile donor day. Within one hour of operation, nearly 80 students registered to donate blood, according to the institution.

The corporate blood donation day at Zhytomyr Polytechnic is held twice a year.

Sumy oblast

Over the past week in Sumy oblast, units of the Defence Forces destroyed and suppressed 410 enemy UAVs using electronic warfare systems. Among the downed drones were 386 strike UAVs and 9 reconnaissance UAVs. According to the Territorial Defence Zone Headquarters, more than 480 enemy UAVs were detected in the skies over Sumy oblast during this period, 85% of which were destroyed by Ukrainian defenders.

Towards Northern Sloboda, fighters of “Mahura” unit eliminated 17 russian servicemen. Footage of the pilots’ operations was released by the 47th Separate Mechanised Brigade. russian forces are attempting to infiltrate using small tactical groups of one to three personnel.

The State Emergency Service reported that in Sumy on 14 April, several UAV strikes on an industrial zone caused fires. russian forces carried out a repeat strike on the location where rescue teams were operating. The fire was extinguished, but several hours later another strike hit the same site. Rescue teams extinguished the fire for a second time.

On 14 April, russian servicemen struck Stetskivka in Sumy community. A residential house and outbuildings were damaged, village head Yurii Lysenko reported. No casualties were reported.

The Regional Military Administration stated that as a result of russian shelling across the oblast over the past day, no civilian casualties were reported.

Over the past day, from the morning of 14 April to the morning of 15 April, russian forces carried out nearly 80 attacks on 22 settlements across 12 territorial communities of the oblast. The highest number of attacks was recorded in Sumy and Shostka regions. The enemy used mortars, artillery, MLRS, FPV drones, UAVs, and guided aerial bombs. Air raid alerts in the oblast lasted for 19 hours and 59 minutes over the day.

Civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged and destroyed:

  • in Esman community, a private residential house was destroyed;
  • in Hlukhiv community, a vehicle was damaged;
  • in Seredyna-Buda community, a private household was destroyed and civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged;
  • in Berezivka community, a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged;
  • in Sumy community, a private residential house, non-residential premises, civilian infrastructure facilities, and a vehicle were damaged;
  • in Bilopillia community, a private vehicle was damaged.

Over the past day, 85 people were evacuated from border communities by local authorities in cooperation with units of the State Emergency Service, the National Police, and public organisations.

 

Chernihiv oblast

Viacheslav Chaus, Head of the Regional Military Administration, reported that over the past day, 14 April, the Defence Forces shot down 30 russian UAVs over Chernihiv oblast. According to him, the enemy carried out 33 strikes on the oblast, with 59 explosions recorded.

Oleksandr Seliverstov, Head of Novhorod-Siverskyi Regional Military Administration, said that on the morning of 15 April, the enemy attacked the centre of Semenivka town by a Molniya-type strike UAV. Following a second strike, the building of the city hospital was damaged. As of 09:55am, no information on casualties had been reported.

Viacheslav Chaus, Head of the Regional Military Administration, informed that as a result of russian drone attacks on 14 April, private houses were damaged in villages of Kyselivka and Horodnia communities. In Semenivka, a Molniya UAV strike damaged a Ukrposhta building and passenger vehicles.

According to Chernihiv Border Guard Detachment, over the course of 14 April, russian forces attacked three border communities of Chernihiv oblast: Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, and Snovsk. The enemy carried out shelling using mortars (2 explosions) and MLRS (20 explosions), conducted UAV strikes of Molniya type (2 explosions), carried out FPV drone strikes (15 explosions), and dropped an explosive device from a UAV (1 explosion). Nine settlements came under enemy fire.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast 

During the night, air defence forces shot down nine enemy UAVs over the oblast.

Dnipro region. In Dnipro, a 29-year-old and a 22-year-old woman, as well as a 65-year-old man, were injured as a result of UAV strikes. Fires broke out. A multi-storey building that was not in use was damaged, along with buildings of an educational institution.

Nikopol region. From the evening until morning, the enemy attacked the area by FPV drones, targeting the regional centre, Pokrovske rural, Chervonohryhorivka, and Marhanets communities.

Nikopol region. The occupiers also carried out FPV strikes on the regional centre, Marhanets, Myrove, Chervonohryhorivka, and Pokrovske rural communities. A fire broke out. An administrative building, an agricultural enterprise, and a gas pipeline were damaged.

Synelnykove region. The enemy attacked Pokrovske community by UAVs. Fires broke out. A private house and a garage were damaged.

Vinnytsia oblast 

The deaths of eight defenders from Vinnytsia oblast have been confirmed. Among them are Ihor Ruzhyn, Serhii Hrychko, Serhii Shepeta, Volodymyr Shchur, Ihor Livandovskyi, Stanislav Zaporozhets, Stepan Tarnovskyi, and Vitalii Humeniuk.

Mayor Serhii Morhunov reported that Vinnytsia has received significant assistance in the form of 32 generators. They were provided by the Embassy of Germany in Ukraine and the Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW). The total value exceeds EUR 685,000. The equipment includes one 400 kW generator, three 440 kW units, two 160 kW units, six 80 kW units, and twenty smaller 14 kW generators. They will be distributed among municipal enterprises, management companies, and medical institutions in the city.

Kirovohrad oblast

In Oleksandriia town, Kirovohrad oblast, residents commemorated servicemen who were killed as a result of a russian missile strike using Kalibr missiles on the local airfield on 15 April 2022. In Oleksandriia, Oleksandr Pryvedennyi, Denys Karpenko, Anatolii Nazarenko, and Maksym Melnychko were buried. Two servicemen, Mykola Volozhskyi and Oleh Zabolotnyi, were buried in their home towns at the request of their families — Svitlovodsk in Kirovohrad oblast and Kalynivka in Vinnytsia oblast, respectively.

In three communities of Kirovohrad oblast, residents bid farewell to servicemen. They are Andrii Savko from Svitlovodsk community, Vitalii Neimets from Oleksandriia community, and Denys Dzhus from Petrivka community.

Andrii Savko had been considered missing since 14 March, when contact with him was lost. On 25 March 2026, DNA testing confirmed his death.

Vitalii Neimets was killed on 6 April 2026 while carrying out a combat mission on Zaporizhzhia front.

Denys Dzhus had been considered missing since December 2022. It has now been confirmed that he was killed on 27 December 2022 near Chervonopopivka village in Sievierodonetsk region, Luhansk oblast.

Poltava oblast

In Poltava, residents paid tribute to serviceman Vladyslav Lytvyn. He was killed while carrying out a combat mission in Donetsk oblast. He was 22 years old. Since February 2023, he had been considered missing.

Three servicemen from Poltava oblast have been confirmed killed. They are Private Artem Teliatnyk from Kobeliaky territorial community, Lieutenant Yevhenii Marchenko from Pyriatyn, and Senior Sergeant Vitalii Lytvyn from Lubny.

Lieutenant Yevhenii Marchenko was killed on 7 November 2025 while carrying out a combat mission in the vicinity of Mykilske, Kharkiv oblast.

Private Artem Teliatnyk was killed on 10 April 2026 while carrying out a combat mission in the vicinity of Dobropasove, Dnipropetrovsk oblast.

Senior Sergeant Vitalii Lytvyn was killed on 12 April 2026 as a result of a russian mortar strike in the vicinity of the settlement of Popivka, Sumy oblast.

In Kremenchuk, an “Alley of Hope” dedicated to prisoners of war and those missing in action will be established. The space will honour servicemen with whom contact has been lost during the russian-Ukrainian war. The alley is planned to be arranged on Ukrainian Revival Boulevard. The project is currently being coordinated with families of the defenders.

Vitalii Diakivnych, Head of the Regional Military Administration, informed that Myrhorod region was attacked by russian UAVs. According to preliminary information, 11 residential houses were damaged at two locations as a result of strikes and falling debris.

Thirty cloven-hoofed animals and 70 birds were evacuated to a nature park in Poltava oblast from Sloviansk. Their evacuation from Donetsk oblast began two weeks ago. Most of the animals are currently in quarantine, having experienced stress due to shelling and transportation.

Cherkasy oblast

Ihor Taburets, Head of the Regional Military Administration, said that in Cherkasy, four people were injured as a result of a night-time drone attack. Three houses were completely destroyed, around ten houses were damaged, and five vehicles were burned.

Twelve people remain in hospital after being injured during russian attacks on the evening of 14 April and during the night of 15 April. They are receiving all necessary medical assistance.

Cherkasy servicemen Ivan Ponomarenko and Oleh Borshch, who were killed in the war with russia, were awarded the Order “For Courage”.

Private Ivan Ponomarenko was killed on 11 November 2024 near Toretsk town, Donetsk oblast.

Junior Sergeant Oleh Borshch died on 19 August 2024 from injuries sustained. The awards were presented to the families of the fallen defenders.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration reported that today, 15 April, at around 5 am, Zaporizhzhia came under a massive enemy attack. As a result of the strike, a 74-year-old woman — a kiosk vendor — was killed. Infrastructure facilities were damaged, including a parking lot, an enterprise, a public transport stop, and a kiosk. Five apartment buildings in Khortytskyi and Voznesenivskyi districts were also damaged.

According to Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, yesterday, 14 April, the occupiers carried out 592 strikes on 43 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast. russian forces conducted 19 airstrikes on Komyshuvakha, Novoivanivka, Orikhiv, Huliaipilske, Lisne, Omelnyk, Novoukrainka, Shyroke, Liubytske, Danylivka, Barvynivka, Soniachne, Dolynka, Novoselivka, Rivne, and Vozdvyzhivka. 365 UAVs of various modifications (mostly FPV) attacked Zaporizhzhia, Balabyne, Komyshuvakha, Bilenke, Mykilske, Liubytske, Novooleksandrivka, Rozumivka, Stepne, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Pavlivka, Lukianivske, Mali Shcherbaky, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohiria, Huliaipilske, Hirke, Zelene, Varvarivka, Dobropillia, Pryluky, and Staroukrainka. Three MLRS strikes targeted Zaliznychne and Mala Tokmachka. 205 artillery strikes hit Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Pavlivka, Lukianivske, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohiria, Varvarivka, Dobropillia, Pryluky, Hirke, Huliaipilske, and Staroukrainka. 47 reports were received about damage to infrastructure, housing, and vehicles. A woman and a man were killed as a result of enemy attacks on Zaporizhzhia city and Zaporizhzhia region.

The General Staff reported that as of 16:00 on 15 April, nine enemy attacks took placein the areas of Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Pryluky, Dobropillia, Huliaipilske, and Staroukrainka towards Huliaipole. Over the past day, 14 April, the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled 13 russian attacks towards Huliaipole.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that during the night of 15 April, the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck a radar station belonging to an S-400 air defense system, an ammunition depot, and a concentration of russian troops in Zaporizhzhia oblast. The extent of the losses and damage are being clarified.

Mykolaiv oblast

Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration reported that yesterday, 14 April, the enemy attacked the region with Shahed 131/136-type UAVs. As a result of combat operations and falling debris, a private house was damaged in Voznesensk region. There were no casualties.

Yesterday, the enemy attacked Ochakiv and Halytsynove communities 12 times with FPV drones and also carried out an artillery strike on Kutsurub community. As a result of one of the shellings, a car was damaged in the village of Lupareve. There were no casualties.

Soldiers of the engineering units of the 123rd Territorial Defense Brigade are restoring and modernizing defensive fortifications along the coast of the village of Kobleve in Mykolaiv oblast. Access to the sea remains closed due to the mine threat.

Representatives of the Swiss charitable organization “Humanitarian Assistance Switzerland” delivered humanitarian aid to Mykolaiv, valued at 350,000 euros. This time, they brought computer equipment for two city schools, as well as clothing, footwear, toys, and computers for large families and families in difficult life circumstances.

Odesa oblast

Odesa Regional Military Administration reported that the enemy once again attacked the port infrastructure of Odesa oblast with strike drones. As a result of the hits, fires broke out, and warehouse and administrative buildings were damaged.

Kherson oblast

The head of Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, reported the deaths of two men in Dniprovskyi district of Kherson due to russian drone attacks on 13 April. They sustained fatal injuries as a result of strikes by enemy UAVs on vehicles.

At approximately 11:30, russians attacked Komyshany with a UAV. A 65-year-old man sustained blast injuries and a wound to his forearm.

According to Kherson Regional Military Administration, today at around 10:30, russians attacked Chornobaivka with a drone. A 52-year-old man sustained blast injuries and a concussion.

At around 06:30, russians attacked Dniprovskyi district of Kherson with a UAV. A 37-year-old man sustained blast injuries and a concussion.

Kherson Regional Military Administration also reported that today, people sought medical assistance for injuries sustained during previous russian attacks. A resident of Nadezhdivka in Bilozerska community, who was attacked by a UAV yesterday morning, sustained blast injuries, a concussion, and bruising to the torso. Three residents of Komyshany, who were injured the previous day during shelling, suffered blast injuries and concussions. On 11 April, a 71-year-old Kherson resident sustained blast injuries, a concussion, an acute stress reaction, and bruising to the torso as a result of a russian drone strike on a trolleybus in central Kherson.

The Police of Kherson oblast reported that yesterday, 14 April, the russian forces attacked Kherson, Sadove, Kizomys, Romashkove, Bilozerka, Komyshany, Inzhenerne, Antonivka, Nezlamne, Chornobaivka, Nadiivka, Novodmytrivka, Tomyna Balka, Rozlyv, Zorivka, Dniprovske, Velytenske, Stanislav, Oleksandrivka, Shyroka Balka, Sofiivka, Beryslav, Velyka Oleksandrivka, Tryfonivka, Havrylivka, Novoraisk, Starosillia, Blakytne, Bila Krynytsia, Khreshchenivka, Novohryhorivka, Novopavlivka, Novovasylivka, Vesele, Vysoke, Stepne, Tavriiske, Lvivski Otruby, Chervone, Karierne, Ukrainka, Kozatske, and Vesele. Four apartment buildings and 15 private houses were damaged, as well as critical infrastructure facilities, an administrative building, medical and educational institutions, a kindergarten, 12 vehicles, a shop, a garage, a gas pipeline, and an outbuilding. As a result of russian attacks, two people were killed, and 12 were injured, including four medical workers.

The General Staff reported that as of 16:00 on 15 April, the enemy carried out three unsuccessful attacks toward the Antonivskyi Bridge. One more engagement is currently ongoing.

Volyn oblast

The RMA held a meeting with Jiri Borcel, Consul General of the Czech Republic, and Vojtech Vraspir, Director of CzechTrade Ukraine – Lviv. They discussed expanding economic cooperation and attracting investments to Volyn oblast.

The key goal is to join efforts for effective employment of citizens, creation of new opportunities for professional development and support for those looking for work.

The 14th Veterans’ Space has been opened in the Carpathian region. The regional Veterans’ Space has opened in Kosiv – a safe and accessible center for veterans, their family members, families of fallen Defenders, as well as people with disabilities as a result of the war.

Lviv oblast

The memory of fallen soldiers was immortalized in Sheptytskyi region. On the facade of the Belz secondary education institution of grades I–III, memorial plaques were consecrated in honor of the fallen Defenders of Ukraine Stepan Khrushchak and Oleh Dushny.

Rivne oblast

The RMA reported that since the beginning of the year, Rivne oblast has already received 62 evacuated citizens.

Ternopil oblast

Natalia Kalmykova, Minister of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, paid a working visit to Ternopil oblast. The program of the visit was rich – from rehabilitation issues to the development of veteran business and housing provision.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

Coast of Hope received rehabilitation and medical equipment worth EUR 200,000 that will be used for the rehabilitation of military personnel, veterans, families of fallen Heroes, prisoners of war, and missing persons from the city of Siauliai, Lithuania.

Chernivtsi oblast

The III degree For Courage Order was posthumously awarded to the defender of Ukraine, Oleksii Charlahanov, from the village of Bilousivka, Sokyrianska community. The soldier was killed in April 2024 while performing a combat mission in Donetsk oblast.

International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, met with Jonas Gahr Store, Prime Minister of Norway. They discussed cooperation in the field of production and use of drones.

The State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection of Ukraine and the Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA) have signed a Joint Statement. This will allow implementing the best European approaches, strengthening the professional capacity of specialists, and increasing the efficiency of state control.
