The Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding back russian occupiers’ advance and are taking necessary measures to prevent the enemy from advancing deep into Ukrainian territory. On 14 March, there were 90 combat engagements.
Communities of Huta-Studenetska in Chernihiv oblast; Marchikhina Buda, Turia, Luhivka, Kucherivka, Ulanove, Porozok, Pokrovka, Baranivka in Sumy oblast were hit by enemy artillery and mortar fire.
Towards Kharkiv, one combat engagement occurred with the enemy near the settlement of Krasne Pershe, the enemy launched airstrikes with unguided missiles on the settlements of Hraniv and Kozacha Lopan.
Towards Kupiansk, russian occupiers attacked the positions of the Defense Forces four times in the vicinity of Zahryzove and Petropavlivka, two combat engagements are still ongoing.
Towards Lyman, the invading army carried out 17 attacks on Ukrainian positions near the settlements of Kopanky, Novoiehorivka, Nove, Novovodiane, Yampolivka, and Torske. Five of them are still ongoing.
Towards Siversk, the occupying forces are looking for weak spots in Ukrainian defenses near Belohorivka and Hryhorivka. The defense forces successfully repelled two enemy attacks.
Towards Toretsk, there were eight clashes, four more enemy assaults in the vicinity of the settlements of Dachne, Druzhba and Toretsk are still ongoing.
Towards Pokrovsk, russian invaders made 25 attempts to push Ukrainian defenders from their occupied positions in the vicinity of Sukha Balka, Vodiane Druhe, Svyrydonivka, Promin, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Kotliarivka, Andriivka, and Shevchenko. The defense forces are holding back the onslaught and repelled 19 enemy attacks, six clashes are still ongoing. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the vicinity of Hrodivka, Novopavlivka, Pokrovsk, Myrnograd and Zvirovo.
Towards Novopavlivka, the enemy tried to break through the defenses of Ukrainian defenders five times in the vicinity of Konstantynopol. One clash is still ongoing.
Towards Huliaipole, the enemy launched an airstrike with five guided bombs on Huliaipole, Novopil and Zaliznychne.
Towards Orikhiv, Ukrainian defenders repelled seven enemy assaults in the vicinity of the settlements of Stepove, Piatikhatki and Shcherbaky.
Towards Kherson, the enemy launched airstrikes with guided bombs on Kherson.

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announces that since the evening of March 13, russia attacked Ukraine with 27 Shahed attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types. 16 drones were destroyed, another 9 did not reach their targets.

Kharkiv oblast
Frontline
The RMA reported that towards Kharkiv, the enemy carried out offensive actions five times near the settlements of Vovchansk, Krasne Pershe and Doroshivka.
Towards Kupiansk, there were three attacks. The defense forces repelled the enemy’s assault actions near Holubivka, Zahryzove and Bohuslavka.
Shelling
At 00:02, as a result of an attack by a russian UAV in Bohodukhiv region, the village of Zolochiv, the roof of the local hospital caught fire. The area of the fire was 1,500 sq. m. A female employee of the emergency medical team was injured. At the time of the shelling, five civilian patients and five employees were in the facility, who were not injured.
At 21:03 in Kharkiv, Osnovianskyi district, a non-residential building caught fire due to russian shelling. No information was received about the injured.
At 21:13, in Novobavarskyi district of Kharkiv, a fire did not start as a result of a UAV hitting a tree.
At 20:43, in Kharkiv, Osnovianskyi district, a russian Geran-2 drone fell in an open area. The explosion damaged the glazing of four private houses. Seven people were injured, including four children. All were diagnosed with acute stress reactions.
At 20:42, in Nemyshlianskyi district of Kharkiv, a russian Geran-2 drone fell in an open area. No information was received about the damage.
At about 19:30 in Kupiansk region, Kindrashivka village, a 65-year-old man was seriously injured as a result of artillery shelling.
At 16:00 in Kharkiv region, Slatyne village, as a result of shelling, grass caught fire on an area of 100 sq. m. m. There was no information about the injured.
At 11:57 in Izium region, Vyshche-Solone village, a guided air bomb hit an open area. The power line was damaged, as a result of which 1,630 consumers of Borova community were left without electricity. Kharkiv Oblenergo brigades are working at the scene.

Donetsk oblast
Front
49 Russian assaults were repelled by the Defense Forces towards Pokrovsk during the day in the vicinity of Yelyzavetivka, Promyn, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Oleksandropil, Tarasivka, Uspenivka, Novooleksandrivka, Novoserhiivka, Kotliarivka, Oleksiivka, and Andriivka.
Another 15 attacks in Lymanske and 14 in Toretske were repelled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Towards Novopavlivka, the russian military tried in vain five times to break through near Konstantinopol and Burlatske.
Dmytro Zaporozhets, Spokesman for Luhansk OTU, says that towards Toretsk, the activity of russian assault actions depends on how much russians manage to move around Toretsk, specifically to the city center, and then carry out assaults. They storm in groups of 2 to 10 people.

Shelling
During the day, russia launched 3,860 strikes on the front line and residential sector. 8 settlements were under fire: the cities of Bilytske, Kostiantynivka, Pokrovsk, Toretsk, the villages of Hlyboka Makatykha, Malynivka, Maiaky, and Rivne. 39 civilian objects were destroyed, including 23 residential buildings.
In the village of Rivne, Myrnohrad community, russians killed a civilian with an FPV drone strike, wounded another, and damaged a car.
The enemy attacked Pokrovsk three times – 6 civilians were injured, including a child. A 15-year-old boy whose family returned from evacuation was injured. Serhii Dobriak, Head of the RMA, reports that this is the seventh case when families with children return to the community. 2 private houses and a shop were damaged.
Three people were injured in Malynivka, Pokrovsk region, a private house was damaged by shelling. An infrastructure facility was damaged in Bilytske.
The occupiers fired on Kostiantynivka with Smerch MLRS and artillery – two civilians were injured, 1 apartment building and 16 private houses, hospital buildings, dentistry, 4 shopping pavilions, and three power lines were damaged.

Other
Serhii Dobriak, Head of the RMA, reports that due to the intensity of the bombing and the density of shelling, more people began to leave Pokrovsk. Up to 40 people left yesterday. 2,500 residents remain in the city. Pokrovsk is located almost 2 km from the front line.
One of Kramatorsk schools and a kindergarten are planned to be relocated to Transcarpathia. Such plans are contained in the published Program for the Development of Education of Kramatorsk Autonomous Okrug for 2025-2028. The program states that educational institutions will begin operating in a new location in the next academic year.
Luhansk oblast
The RMA reported that the day before, the occupiers made several attempts to storm towards Siversk, including in Belohorivka. In total, russians fired 13 artillery strikes on this sector of the front. 218 enemy drones attempted to carry out combat missions.
In nine administrative-territorial units of the so-called “lpr”, people’s militias began to be formed, returning even more to the Soviet era. To date, 90 people have been gathered, whom the security forces will involve in holding mass events. They were allowed to use physical force, arm themselves with stun guns and gas canisters. They even promise to issue uniforms.
In Siverskodonetsk, they have been trying to raise fares on local transport for the second month. Similar tariffs were also established in Luhansk on February 1.
The Center of National Resistance reported that the occupiers damaged stone women from the 10th–11th centuries in temporarily occupied Sokologirsk (Pervomaisk), Luhansk oblast, during the relocation of thousand-year-old monuments.

Kyiv oblast
Ukraine’s Ambassador to Austria Vasyl Khymynets announced that the new Austrian Foreign Minister, Beate Meinl-Reisinger, arrived in Ukraine on 14 March.
Oleksii Kuleba, Minister of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine, informed that the first meeting of the Ukrainian-Turkish working group on reconstruction took place in Kyiv on 13 March. More than 30 Turkish companies belonging to the Turkish Contractors Association are ready to implement projects to restore Ukraine.
The SES reported that in Brovary region, a farmer came across a suspicious metal object and called rescuers. The SES sappers found out the item was a warhead of an S-8 unguided aerial missile. The item was safely transported to a special site for destruction.
Kyiv police officer Anton Pshenychnyi was killed near Toretsk in the battle for Ukraine. He was 30 years old. He began his police service in April 2022 as a policeman of the Poltava Special Police Patrol Service, then moved to the Safari Assault Regiment of the Special Police Department of the Joint Assault Brigade of the National Police ‘Rage’.
The NGO Ukrainian Women’s Guard recently conducted mine safety training for schoolchildren and teachers at the Kachalivka branch of the Zaholtseve Lyceum. A series of training sessions on risks associated with explosive devices were held separately for students in grades 1-5 and 6-9, taking into account the age difference. The students actively participated in the training, learnt important safety rules and received certificates and gifts.
Portuguese Foreign Minister Paulo Rangel visited Kyiv Oblast Children’s Hospital in Boyarka. The delegation visited the Superheroes’ School, a unique educational space for children undergoing long-term inpatient treatment and receiving rehabilitation care.
Kyiv Digital mobile application won the “Best Mobile Innovation Supporting Emergency or Humanitarian Situations” category at the 2025 Global Mobile Award (GSMA). Kyiv City State Administration reported that this award category recognizes mobile solutions that provide critical support during humanitarian crises, natural disasters or conflicts. Maps of shelters, heating and psychological assistance points, alarm notifications, maps of working pharmacies, gas stations and shops – all these services save lives and help people stay connected in emergency conditions.
Zhytomyr oblast
The head of the Zhytomyr regional branch of the Social Protection Fund for Persons with Disabilities announced that last year 545 servicemen in Zhytomyr oblast were provided with prosthetic equipment. This year, 45 servicemen in need of funding and prosthetic equipment have already received it. In just two months of 2025, the oblast became the second largest region in terms of the number of rehabilitation equipment issued – 1,579 people received it.
A community day was held in Zhytomyr to support women waiting for their loved ones from the frontline. The event, titled ‘How are you? What Can I Do for You?’ was held at the Zhytomyr Resilience Centre as part of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Programme ’Are You OK?’.
Sumy oblast
The State Border Guard Service reported that in Sumy oblast, the Defence Forces halted the breakthrough of an enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group. A group of ten russian saboteurs crossed the border and attempted to advance deeper into the territory. They were immediately fired upon with the use of a mortar unit. During counter-sabotage measures, the enemy was forced to retreat.
On 13 March Volodymyr Artiukh, the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, informed that to repel russian air attacks, the Defence Forces are strengthening volunteer formations and receiving new weapons and equipment. Some settlements in the region are preparing for defence. Individual russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups, both on foot and motorised, attempted to enter the region but were destroyed. The russian forces did not capture any settlements.
Serhii Bespalko, head of the Velyka Pysarivka Military Administration said that in the morning of 14 March, the russian army struck the border town of Velyka Pysarivka by three guided aerial bombs. One of the shells hit a residential building. There were no fatalities.
According to the Regional Military Administration, during the night and morning, russian forces carried out six shellings in the territories of two border communities in Sumy oblast: Yunakivka and Velyka Pysarivka. Ten strikes were recorded—five from GAB launches (explosions) and five from self-propelled artillery shelling.
Throughout 13 March, russian forces carried out 93 shelling attacks in Sumy oblast, with a total of 127 explosions recorded. The enemy conducted mortar shelling (20 explosions) and artillery shelling (26 explosions), launched FPV-drone strikes (42 explosions), dropped GAB-type aerial bombs (12 explosions), and dropped explosives from UAVs (26 explosions). Ten communities came under enemy fire: Khotin, Yunakivka, Myropillia, Krasnopillia, Bilopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Okhtyrka, Hlukhiv, Shalyhyne, and Seredyna-Buda.
As a result of russian shelling on 13 March, three civilians were injured in Khotin community. In Velyka Pysarivka community, a private household was damaged, and in Okhtyrka community, a non-residential building was affected.
The Regional Military Administration reported that in Myropillia community, a bridge was destroyed by a GAB strike. Myropillia Village Council has called on residents to evacuate due to the worsening security situation and the destruction of the bridge connecting the villages within the community.
The police unit ‘White Angels’ evacuated four residents of Myropillia community along with a dog. According to the National Police, the residents’ homes were damaged and unfit for habitation, and the settlement also had partial disruptions in communications.
Chernihiv oblast
Chernihiv Border Detachment reported that throughout 13 March, russian forces attacked four border communities in Chernihiv oblast: Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, Horodnia, and Snovsk. The enemy carried out FPV-drone strikes (6 explosions) and dropped explosives from UAVs (10 explosions). Eight settlements came under enemy fire.
The North Operational Command informed that on 13 March, a russian Shahed-type strike UAV fell in Lypiv Rih village in Vertiivka community. As a result of the drone’s crash, a farming enterprise was damaged.
Vadym Mysnyk, Spokesperson for the Operational Tactical Group ‘Siversk,’ said that since the beginning of 2025, no russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups have been recorded in the border areas of Chernihiv oblast. Additionally, the russian army is not forming any groups near Chernihiv oblast’s border.
According to the Oblast National Police, In Chernihiv oblast, bomb disposal experts neutralised the warhead of a russian strike UAV that had failed to detonate. The UAV was shot down by Ukraine’s Defence Forces and was discovered in an open area near one of the settlements in Nizhyn region.
In Chernihiv, on 14 March, a stamp from ‘Ukrposhta titled ‘City of Heroes. Mariupol’ was officially cancelled on the ‘Alley of Heroes.’ It is dedicated to the memory of those who defended the city from russian forces and the people of Mariupol who became victims of russian war crimes.

Dnipropetrovsk oblast
Mykola Lukashuk, Head of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Council, reported that late last night, the enemy attacked the Marhanets community of Nikopol region with artillery. In the morning, the occupiers launched 4 kamikaze drones at Nikopol. The infrastructure was damaged.
During the day, the enemy attacked Nikopol region more than a dozen times. They attacked mainly with drones, and fired from artillery. The occupiers targeted the district centre, Marhanets, Myrobe, Chervonohryhorivka and Pokrov communities.
Kirovohrad oblast
On 14 March, Ukraine celebrates the Day of the Ukrainian Volunteer. In Kropyvnytskyi, the memory of volunteers who died during the russian-Ukrainian war was honoured with a march from the Glory to the Fallen Heroes memorial.
Cherkasy oblast
A commemorative rally was held in Zhashkiv, Cherkasy oblast, on the Day of the Ukrainian Volunteer. Residents of the city and representatives of the authorities gathered at the Monument to the participants and fallen Heroes.

Zaporizhzhia oblast
Yesterday, the occupiers launched 511 attacks on 13 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast. The enemy carried out 8 airstrikes on Shchaslyve, Piatykhatky, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Novodarivka, Mala Tokmachka, and Novoandriivka. 317 UAVs of various modifications attacked Zaporizhzhia, Kamianske, Prymorske, Piatykhatky, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Novodarivka, and Preobrazhenka. 4 MLRS shellings targeted Kamianske, Mala Tokmachka, and Shcherbaky. 182 artillery strikes were carried out on Piatykhatky, Kamianske, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, and Novodarivka. There were 18 reports of damage to apartments, private houses, and vehicles.
As of 16:00 on 14 March, the enemy launched an airstrike with five guided bombs on Huliaipole, Novopil, and Zaliznychne. Ukrainian defenders are repelling seven enemy assaults near Stepove, Piatykhatky, and Shcherbaky towards Orikhiv. On 13 March, the UAF repelled 20 Russian attacks towards Huliaipole and Orikhiv.
17 modular reinforced concrete structures have been installed in Zaporizhzhia. These shelters are placed in Komunarskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts in areas with high foot traffic, including public transport stops. They are designed to protect civilians from shrapnel and blast waves.
Mykolaiv oblast
On 13 March 13, the enemy twice attacked Kutsurub community with FPV drones and carried out an artillery strike on the community at 10:57. Additionally, the enemy shelled the waters of Ochakiv community with mortars. There were no casualties.
Odesa oblast
On 14 March, four enemy ships were present in the Mediterranean Sea, including three carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles, with a total salvo capacity of up to 26 missiles.
Two vessels passed through the Kerch Strait into the Black Sea in russia’s interest, while five ships entered the Azov Sea.
Kherson oblast
Around 2:00 pm, russian forces carried out an airstrike with a guided bomb on the downtown of Kherson. As a result of the explosion, five apartment buildings, a medical facility, a business center, a clinical hospital, and ten vehicles were damaged. Two people were injured.

Around 8:00 am, russians attacked a man in Kherson with a drone. The 60-year-old resident suffered an explosive injury, and shrapnel wounds to the forearm and leg.
According to Kherson Regional Military Administration, russian occupation forces shelled Bilozerka with artillery, wounding four people.
It is reported that the occupiers attacked a resident with a drone in Novodmytrivka. The 62-year-old man sustained an explosive and traumatic brain injury, a concussion, and shrapnel wounds to the chest, shoulder, and leg.
A man who was injured by a russian drone attack in Veletenske the previous day was hospitalized. The 22-year-old resident suffered an explosive injury, amputation of a hand, and burns to the torso and thigh.
A woman injured in a russian drone strike in Stanislav the previous day was also hospitalized. She suffered an explosive injury and shrapnel wounds to her limbs, head, and torso.
A resident of Antonivka who was injured by a russian drone attack today at noon was admitted to the hospital. The 52-year-old man was diagnosed with an explosive injury and a shrapnel wound to the chest.
Yesterday, russian shelling and airstrikes targeted Antonivka, Poniativka, Mykilske, Prydniprovskе, Sadove, Naddniprianske, Inzhenerne, Tokarivka, Dniprovske, Veletenske, Kizomys, Oleksandrivka, Stanislav, Shyroka Balka, Sofiivka, Beryslav, Zmiivka, Novoberyslav, Burhunka, Shliakhove, Tiahynka, Lvove, Olhivka, Mykolaivka, Monastyrske, Chervonyi Maiak, Zolota Balka, Havrylivka, Dudchany, Novovorontsovka, Khreshchenivka, Novooleksandrivka, Vesele, Kozatske, and the city of Kherson. As a result of the attacks, two apartment buildings, seven private houses, a cell tower, a utility building, and a private car were damaged. One person was killed, and nine others were injured, including a child.
Later, Kherson RMA reported another fatality from yesterday’s attacks. A resident of Stanislav was killed in a russian drone strike.
Police evacuated two critically injured men from frontline Beryslav. A 67-year-old man lost a leg, suffered a head wound, and later died during hospitalization. An 84-year-old man sustained an explosive and traumatic brain injury, a concussion, gunshot wounds to the head and limbs, and a traumatic foot amputation. Doctors are currently fighting for his life.
Enemy losses in southern Ukraine over the past day amounted to 114 russian troops, 1 tank, 7 artillery systems, 14 vehicles and armored units, 3 motorcycles, 6 ATVs, 1 boat, 2 buggies, 8 reconnaissance drones, 2 generators, 4 UAV control antennas, 1 communication antenna, 1 Starlink satellite terminal, 46 fortifications/bunkers, 1 observation post, 2 ammunition storage sites anf 1 fuel and lubricants warehouse.
Beryslav community received a RENAULT water tanker as part of Japan’s grant assistance for Ukraine’s recovery program. This equipment will provide residents with clean water, an important step in restoring normal life in the community.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast
On 5 November 2024, a campaign to declare firearms began, in accordance with the Law of Ukraine On Ensuring the Participation of Civilians in the Defense of Ukraine. So far, 82 citizens of the region have contacted the regional police units. Over 90 firearms and over 1,200 ammunition have been declared.
Lviv oblast
Sweden is considering the possibility of financially contributing to the creation of the Nadiia rehabilitation center in Lviv oblast. The Center will provide free assistance to children from all over Ukraine.
Veterans who represented Lviv oblast at the Games of the Invincible international competitions were awarded with cash certificates. This year, 35 Ukrainian veterans and servicemen took part in the Games of the Invincible. They managed to win 30 medals: 12 gold, 11 silver and 7 bronze.
Rivne oblast
The RMA held an online meeting with Chris Manson, Vice President of the Catholic medical organization OSF HealthCare and founder of the US Ambulances for Ukraine initiative. Rivne oblast will receive new special vehicles from the US.
Rivne oblast commemorated the 21 National Guard members who were killed in a missile strike. It was on 14 March, 2022, that the enemy fired on a television tower in the village of Antopil, which was guarded by servicemen.
Ternopil oblast
The 82nd Battalion of the 105th Territorial Defense Brigade received a car repair shop and a Gulliver mine-clearing drone from Ternopil community.
Khmelnytskyi oblast
Khmelnytskyi community has provided 50% compensation for tuition fees for combatants. This year, there will be about 130-150 such students.
Chernivtsi oblast
A meeting with families of prisoners of war and missing persons was held in Bukovina. Relatives had the opportunity to receive answers to questions and personal consultations from representatives of the authorities, law enforcement agencies, the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in Chernivtsi Oblast, Chernivtsi Oblast Territorial Center for Recruiting and Social Support, the Main Directorate of the Pension Fund of Ukraine, military units of the oblast and Chernivtsi Oblast Employment Center. The meeting was attended by over 300 participants.
International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)
The collection of the Darek pro putina (Gift for putin) initiative began back in November 2023. But due to pressure from people who claimed that Ukraine did not need this helicopter, the collection slowed down. However, after discussing with the Main Intelligence Directorate, they decided to try to raise funds for it. The funds raised made it possible not only to buy the necessary helicopter, which was found outside Europe, but also to pay for the transportation of the Black Hawk UH-60 to Ukraine.
The 1st meeting of the Carpathian Initiative, a strategic trilateral platform for cooperation between Ukraine, Poland and Slovakia, took place in Presov, Slovakia. The key goal of the event is to strengthen regional development and promote the recovery of Ukraine through close economic, educational and infrastructural integration.
The Danish Foreign Ministry reported that the country is ready to send its troops to Ukraine if necessary to achieve a ceasefire or peace agreement.
