The Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding back the advance of russian occupiers. They are taking necessary measures to prevent the enemy from advancing deep into Ukrainian territory. On 15 March, there were 81 combat clashes on the frontline.
Communities in the settlements of Chernihiv and Sumy oblasts, such as Medvedivka, Karpovychi, Yanzhulivka, Vovkivka, Rozhkovichi, Komarivka, Baranivka, Shalyhyne and Dmytrivka, suffered from enemy artillery and mortar fire.
Towards Kharkiv, there were four combat clashes near Vovchansk, one battle is currently underway.

Airstrikes by KABs were carried out on Bahatyr, Serhiivka, Pokrovsk, Novoukrainka, Sukhyi Yar, Novoolenivka and Nova Poltavka.
Towards Novopavlivka, the enemy tried seven times to break through Ukrainian defenses in the vicinity of the settlement of Rozlyv. Three clashes are still ongoing.
Towards Huliaipole, the invader, supported by assault aircraft, is attacking near Novopol. The enemy also struck Huliaipilske with unguided air missiles.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has approved a delegation to interact with international partners in order to ensure the negotiation process to achieve peace. The delegation includes Andrii Yermak, Andrii Sybiha, Rustem Umerov, and Pavlo Palisa.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that the new Ukrainian missile “Long Neptune” has been successfully tested and put into combat use. The missile has a range of one thousand kilometers.

Kharkiv oblast
The charity project to rebuild centers for lonely elderly people from Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts of the East SOS foundation is among the nominees of the Golden Flipchart-2025 competition.
The foundation has equipped two geriatric centers for 110 evacuees.
Frontline
The General Staff reported that towards Kharkiv, there were four clashes near Vovchansk, as of 16:00 one battle is underway.
Towards Kupiansk, russian occupiers are trying to break through Ukrainian defenses near Zahryzove area, the clashes are ongoing.
The RMA reported that towards Kharkiv, the enemy stormed the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine three times in the directions of the settlements of Vovchansk, Kamianka and Krasne Pershe.
Towards Kupiansk, there were four attacks. Defense forces repelled enemy assaults near Zahryzove and Petropavlivka.
Shelling
An FPV drone hit a civilian man’s car near the village of Lyman in the Kharkiv region in the morning, the regional police reported. The man was able to get home on his own, from where he was hospitalized with explosive injuries
At 03:20, a russian Geran-2 drone hit a non-residential building in the town of Bohoduhiv.
00:55-02:00, russians attacked the town of Bohoduhiv with two UAVs. Hitting the roof of an educational institution caused a fire on an area of 500 m2. 18 private houses and 5 school buses were previously damaged. Three women (72, 76, 56 years old) and a man (53 years old) were injured – acute stress reaction. Kharkiv State Emergency Service reported that rescuers came under repeated fire while extinguishing a fire at an educational institution in Bogodukhiv on the night of March 15 The impact damaged a fire truck. The second impact, which occurred an hour later, caused the fire truck to catch fire. Bohodukhiv Mayor Volodymyr Belyi reported that at the time of the impact, two people were in the lyceum — a security guard and a boiler room operator. The day before, at 22:35-22:45, russian aircraft struck three KABs on Zolochiv community. Two air bombs hit an open area near the village of Odnorobivka.

At 15:56, russian shelling in the city of Kupiansk caused a fire on an area of 0.5 hectares.

At 12:26, russian shelling in Oskilska community, Izium region, set fire to forest litter covering an area of 1.5 hectares.
At 10:21, russians attacked the village of Borova, Izium region. As a result of the shelling, previously with MLRSs, grass covering an area of 200 m² caught fire.
Donetsk oblast
Frontline
The General Staff says that towards Pokrovsk and Toretsk there were 43 and 24 russian assaults respectively. Towards Lyman, the russian army attacked 20 times.
Maksym Belousov, Head of the communications department of the 60th brigade, says that towards Lyman, russian troops are constantly attacking positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Usually these are infantry assaults, sometimes – mechanized BMP, BTR, BMD, or MT-LB.
Shelling
Donetsk region prosecutor’s office reported that in the morning, russian troops shelled the central part of the village of Bohatyr, Volnovaha region. Previously, three civilians were injured. The russian army probably used Grads.
Anastasia Medvedeva, Spokeswoman for the regional prosecutor’s office, informs that the russian army wounded a man during the shelling of the city of Rodynske.
There were 3,292 enemy strikes on the front line and residential areas. The strikes occurred in 11 settlements: the cities of Kostiantynivka, Lyman, Myrnograd, Rodynske, Siversk, and the villages of Andriivka-Klevtsove (Iskra), Dovha Balka, Zelenyi Hay, Novotoretske, Poltavka, and Yablunivka. 83 civilian objects were destroyed, including 70 residential buildings.

In Myrnohrad, a russian drone hit a civilian car – two civilians were injured. In addition, the city was subjected to bombing and artillery attacks, 2 apartment buildings and 7 private houses were damaged.
The occupiers dropped a FAB-250 bomb on Siversk – one person was injured.
The Illinivska community suffered from the bombing: the enemy hit Yablunivka with three bombs – three private houses were damaged, another bomb exploded in Poltavka, damaging 13 households.
In Lyman, a private house was damaged as a result of a hit by a Molniya-2 UAV.

Luhansk oblast
The OVA reports that russians attacked both towards Lyman and Seversk. They stormed the vicinities of Novoyiehorivka and Belohorivka. Ukrainian military is holding the defense there. The enemy fired 13 times from artillery systems of various types at the fortifications of Ukrainian fighters. He directed 165 UAVs in their direction.
Before the occupation in 2014, the Samsonivska-Zakhidna mine was called the mine of the future. The completion of this future began to be hinted at by a russian investor, to whom the so-called “lpr” transferred this coal mining enterprise located near Otamanivka (until recently Molodohvardiisk) a year ago for next to nothing. Last year, they announced the prospects for mining and the purchase of equipment, but decided differently.
📌Residents of Siverskodonetsk began to feel the delay in salaries at the water utility. Currently, in those high-rise buildings where water supply was previously restored, water is available to subscribers living on the lower floors. It does not rise higher due to weak pressure. Kyiv oblast
Kyiv Regional Military Administration reported that 7 private houses were damaged in Bila Tserkva district as a result of a UAV attack.
According to KCMA, no air alert was declared in the capital at night. However, 21 enemy UAVs were spotted on the outskirts of Kyiv. 13 of them were destroyed by air defence systems, the rest were lost or left the airspace.
The website of the International Atomic Energy Agency informs that the IAEA staff at Chornobyl site continue to record numerous airborne alarms over the past week. In addition, the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine informed the IAEA that drones were observed flying in the area of Chornobyl zone on the night of 8 March.
The Artan active action unit of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine opened a special facility in Podil, Kyiv. It will be open to visitors six days a week and become a place of meeting and support for the Special Forces veterans and their families. Also, everyone will be able to learn about the combat path of ‘Artan’ warriors, current vacancies in the Special Forces, the benefits of service in the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine and ways to help the scouts.
Mykhailyna Skoryk, Deputy of Irpin city council, informed that on 13 March, Valerii Semenov, 49-year-old serviceman and deputy of Slavutych city council was killed. Valerii worked at the Chornobyl nuclear power plant. In February 2022, when the russian military entered the territory of the plant, he remained on duty and was responsible for the facility safety for 25 days until the plant was liberated. After the de-occupation, Semenov voluntarily joined the territorial defence and later fought as part of a unmanned aerial vehicle unit of the 72nd separate mechanised brigade Black Zaporozhians.
Ihor Smelianskyi, CEO of Ukrposhta, announced that in Kyiv, a stamp issued in honour of Mariupol was cancelled. According to him, the stamp was issued on 14 March, because exactly three years ago, russian invaders dropped a bomb on Mariupol Drama Theatre and killed about 600 people. This is a unique steel stamp – each of the 400,000 copies contains a particle of Azovstal, a small amount of metal from the latest batch.
On 14 March, on the occasion of Volunteer Day, a commemorative march took place in the centre of Kyiv, honouring people who were not military by profession but decided to voluntarily take up arms and defend Ukraine.
Zhytomyr oblast
Representatives of the Humanitarian Hub “Zhytomyr” handed over important technical equipment for future servicemen. Modern FPV goggles and remote controls will help them more effectively master the technique of performing combat missions.
Zhytomyr oblast is ready to become a pilot region for the implementation of a project created to combat injuries resulting from war. This was discussed on March 13 during negotiations between Vitalii Bunechko, Head of Zhytomyr RMA with the leadership of the August Mission charitable foundation from Utah, US and the CEO of the American company Neurova labs. During the meeting, they discussed cooperation in the issue of comprehensive recovery and rehabilitation of veterans, women and children, and civilians who survived the occupation or hostilities.
Sumy oblast
The Regional Military Administration reported that in the evening of 14 March, the russian army launched a massive attack using UAVs on critical infrastructure in Sumy. As a result of the strike, two apartment buildings were damaged. There were disruptions to water and electricity supplies.
Mykola Torianyk, Head of Khotin Community, informed that in the evening of 14 March, russian forces struck the cultural centre in Khotin community using drones. Private houses were also damaged. There were no fatalities or injuries, according to the head of the community.
During night and morning, russians carried out 14 shelling attacks on border areas and settlements in Sumy oblast, resulting in 64 explosions. The attacks targeted Sumy, Yunakivka, Myropillia, and Shalyhyne communities.
Over the skies of Sumy oblast, Ukrainian anti-aircraft gunners shot down 22 enemy Shahed-type UAVs.
On 14 March, russians carried out 47 shelling attacks on border areas and settlements in Sumy oblast, resulting in 161 explosions. The enemy struck with mortars (56 explosions), artillery (20 explosions), AGS (57 explosions), FPV-drones (13 explosions), GABs (5 explosions), and dropped explosive devices from UAVs (10 explosions). The attacks targeted 9 communities: Yunakivka, Myropilia, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Esman, Shalyhyne, Seredyna-Buda and Svesa.
Volodymyr Artiukh, head of the Regional Military Administration, announced that Sumy oblast has received three powerful generators from the French Republic. Two of them have already been handed over to Shostka community.
Chernihiv oblast
The Regional Military Administration reported that during the night, russian forces attacked one of Chernihiv’s neighbourhoods with a drone. As a result of the strike, an apartment building and private houses were damaged, and around 10 cars were destroyed or damaged.

In the evening of 14 March, russian forces attacked a village in Semenivka community by a drone. The explosion caused a fire. Four civilians were injured, including an 85-year-old woman who was hospitalised with a concussion, while the other three received assistance on-site. The attack destroyed a residential house, a farm building, and a car. Additionally, windows, doors, and roofs in two other houses were damaged.

Chernihiv Border Detachment informed that throughout 14 March, russian forces attacked four border communities in Chernihiv oblast: Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, Horodnia, and Snovsk. The enemy used FPV-drones (7 explosions), dropped explosives from UAVs (6 explosions), and carried out mortar shelling (9 explosions). Eight villages came under enemy fire.
The North Operational Command reported that as a result of a russian army attack on Chernihiv border area on 14 March, three private houses were damaged, and an enterprise building was destroyed. Four people were injured.
In Chernihiv, the Regional Centre for Citizen Training for National Resistance has been established. The decision was made by the Regional Council.
Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
Mykola Lukashuk, Head of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Council, reported that last night, russian troops attacked Kryvyi Rih with rockets. The attack injured 14 people, including two children – boys aged 2 and 15. A one-storey building was partially destroyed, and a dozen and a half multi-storey buildings, 10 private houses, infrastructure, educational and sports facilities, shops, a pharmacy, a beauty salon, a coffee shop and a car were damaged. In the evening and at night, the occupiers attacked Nikopol several times. They attacked with kamikaze drones, dropped ammunition from a drone and shelled with Grad rockets. They targeted the region centre, Marhanets and Myrove communities. Pavlohrad region was also shelled. The enemy attack damaged the infrastructure. Sinelnykivka district also came under enemy fire. The infrastructure was also damaged.
In Nikopol region, the enemy army shelled the regional centre with artillery. A 70-year-old woman was killed. Two children, a three-year-old girl and an 11-year-old girl, were injured and hospitalised in Dnipro in moderate condition. A woman of 57 years old was also injured. In total, the occupiers carried out about fifteen attacks in the area. They used kamikaze drones and artillery. Five private houses, two outbuildings, a religious institution, a car, 15 solar panels and a power line were damaged.
Kirovohrad oblast
A charity rally in memory of Olha and Taras Melsters was held in Kropyvnytskyi. The couple served in the same military unit. They were killed on 21 June 2022 near Borova village of Luhansk oblast. The purpose of the rally is to raise money for a remote antenna for the military on the front line.
Poltava oblast
A minute’s silence was held in Poltava. The event honoured the memory of the defenders who voluntarily took up arms. The event was dedicated to the Day of the Ukrainian Volunteer.
Cherkasy oblast
Ihor Taburets, Head of Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, reported that at night, defenders shot down four russian air targets. The falling debris set dry vegetation in Cherkasy district on fire.
Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine
Zaporizhzhia oblast
Ivan Fedorov, Head of Zaporizhzhia RMA, reported that the russian military attacked an infrastructure facility in Zaporizhzhia oblast. Rescue workers and police were on site.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on 14 March, the Defence Forces repelled 7 russian attacks in Orikhiv region. Clashes took place near Shcherbaky, Stepove and Piatykhatky.
Ivan Fedorov, Head of the RMA, stated that on 14 March, russian forces launched 310 attacks on 9 cities and villages in the oblast. This included 101 artillery strikes targeting Piatykhatky, Kamianske, Shcherbaky, Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Novodarivka and Charivne.
Mykolaiv oblast
Referring to Mykolaiv RMA, on 14 March, the russian military attacked Kutsurub community twice with FPV drones and twice with artillery. One of the attacks damaged a warehouse in Kutsurub village. There were no casualties reported. Also, russian forces shelled the waters of Ochakiv community with mortars. There were no injuries reported.
During the night of 15 March, air defence forces shot down 2 Shahed drones over Mykolaiv oblast.
Odesa oblast
Oleh Kiper, Head of Odesa RMA, informed that in a repeated drone attack, a 61-year-old woman was injured in Odesa. A house was partially destroyed along with a damaged car. In a suburban area, a private business facility suffered damage to its roof, windows and doors. In Chornomorsk, power was restored by the morning after the previous day’s attack.
Around 11pm on 14 March, the russian military once again attacked Odesa oblast with strike drones. The attack damaged critical infrastructure, a private house, a store and vehicles. Rescue workers and volunteers extinguished fires caused by the drones. As a result of the attack, the city of Chornomorsk was completely blacked out and the energy infrastructure was damaged. Invincibility centres are being set up in the city.
Kherson oblast
According to the State Emergency Service, during the day, the russian military attacked a district in Kherson by a drone, causing a fire in a non-residential building, which was later extinguished by rescue workers.
Based on the information provided by the RMA, russian forces dropped explosives on a 48-year-old man in Kherson, causing blast trauma and shrapnel wounds to his legs. Doctors assess his condition as moderate.
Referring to the Prosecutor’s Office, in Stepanivka, near Kherson, an 82-year-old woman was killed when a russian shell hit the terrace of her private house.
The RMA reported that on 14 March, russian aviation dropped 7 guided bombs on Kherson oblast. A 15-year-old girl was injured, suffering blast trauma, a traumatic brain injury and a concussion. The police added that 4 bombs targeted Tomaryne and Virivka in Beryslav region, 2 hit Kherson and 1 struck the suburbs.
Roman Mrochko, Head of the CMA, said that on 14 March, russian forces attacked Dniprovskyi district of Kherson by a drone, injuring a 67-year-old woman, who sustained blast trauma and a broken finger.
According to the RMA, 3 more people were injured in yesterday’s airstrikes on Kherson, suffering blast trauma, traumatic brain injuries and concussions. A 74-year-old man was rescued from the rubble of a house hit by a russian artillery shell.
Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the RMA, stated that on 14 March, 2 people were killed and 18 injured in russian attacks on Kherson oblast. The russian forces targeted critical and social infrastructure and residential areas in 42 settlements. Damage was reported to 7 high-rise buildings, 27 private houses, gas pipelines and vehicles.

Volyn oblast
The Company of the Strike Unmanned Aviation Complexes of the Military Unit A 4056 received 3 DJI Mavic 3 quadcopters from Lutsk community.
The RMA reported that to improve the quality of rehabilitation provision, this year the regional budget has allocated UAH 18.5m for the modernization of institutions providing rehabilitation services.
Zakarpattia oblast
This week, the Owl’s Nest Humanitarian Aid Center provided IDPs registered in Uzhgorod with 50 bags with grocery sets and 60 loaves of bread. During the week, volunteers gave out clothes, shoes, bed linen and dishes (1,670 items) from the PDUM Partnerschaft Deutschland-Ukraine/Moldova e. V., Luftfahrt ohne Grenzen / Wings of Help e.V., Spletinnia Kosice, Valentyn Stefano and other benefactors.
Ivano-Frankivsk oblast
Ivano-Frankivsk community sent 20 FPV drones and 10 thermal imaging cameras to the RUBPAK SAPSAN fighters of the State Special Transport Service.
Lviv oblast
A unique space for the physical and mental rehabilitation of veterans has been opened in the oblast. The total area of the rehabilitation and sports complex is 2,100 sqm. Physical rehabilitation specialists, occupational therapists, psychologists and speech therapists work with those undergoing rehabilitation. Up to 60 people can work at the same time at 8 locations.
A 6-day course of group training for national resistance has ended in Lviv. A total of 45 hours were spent on training. The group was given classes in fire, tactical, pre-medical training, mine safety, military communications, terrain orientation and the basics of unmanned systems.
Rivne oblast
Another 8 mental health centers are due to open in Rivne oblast’s medical facilities soon. Currently, 4 such centers are already operating in Rivne, Varash and Hoscha hospitals, as well as in the regional center for mental health of the population.
Ternopil oblast
The RMA held an online meeting with Askold Lozinsky, President of the Ukrainian World Congress in 1998–2008. They discussed support for Ukraine.

At night, during the air alert signal, the Air Defense Forces Destroyed 11 enemy Shahed UAVs. There were no injuries or deaths.
Khmelnytskyi City Council reported that 108 servicemen were allocated financial assistance for rehabilitation or treatment. The total amount is over UAH 1.5m.
Chernivtsi oblast
In Chernivtsi Multidisciplinary Lyceum №11 Prestige the repair of the simplest shelter was completed thanks to the financial support of the Tree of Life – Ukraine CF in the amount of UAH 1,162,872, the shelter was renovated: the walls were painted, the floor was updated, bathrooms were installed and comfortable conditions were created for students and staff during air raids. Currently, the shelter can accommodate 364 people.
