Miners in the so-called ‘luhansk people’s republic’ are not being paid their debts and their seniority for 2016-2022 is not being confirmed. Of course, there is zero demand for the heads of coal mining enterprises. But russian courts also rule exclusively in favour of the occupation authorities, not the plaintiffs. They are motivated by the mass liquidation of the relevant legal entities that would have to repay the debt. As a result, miners lose six to seven years of seniority, because the pension authorities of the russian federation cannot count these periods of work.

In every city of the occupied Luhansk region, people’s militias will be formed in the Soviet style. The so-called ‘people’s council of luhansk people’s republic’ has approved a law on the participation of citizens in the protection of public order. They will work under the law enforcement agencies, but will be responsible for preventing and suppressing offences and protecting public order on a voluntary basis.
