Russian invaders continue to storm the positions of Ukrainian defenders. In total, 110 combat engagements have taken place since the beginning of the day. Most of the fighting was recorded towards Kurakhove and Pokrovsk.
Today, hostile artillery and mortar fire in Kharkiv, Chernihiv and Sumy oblasts affected, in particular, Pavlivka, Zhuravka, Volfyne, Vysoke, Basivka, Novenke, Bachivsk, Budky, Khrinivka, Tymofiivka, Studenok and Vodolahy. Basivka and Yunakivka were hit by terrorists’ airstrikes.
Towards Kharkiv, the enemy stormed the positions of our troops four times. There is a battle in the area of Vovchansk. The enemy also carried out air strikes with anti-aircraft gunships on Lyptsi and the area of Vilcha.
Towards Kupiansk, russian invaders conducted offensive actions near Kolisnykivka, Zahryzove, Kruhliakivka and Lozova. Five firefights are ongoing.
Towards Lyman, the enemy attacked twice near Novomykhailivka and Torske. He carried out air strikes on Terny.
Towards Toretsk, the occupiers, with the support of bombers, tried five times to force our units out of their positions in the areas of Toretsk and Shcherbynivka, and the fighting is currently ongoing.
Towards Pokrovsk, the enemy carried out 24 assault operations in the areas of Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Hryhorivka, Pustynka and Novooleksiivka. The Ukrainian defence forces are holding back the russian offensive and have repelled 13 attacks, with nine more battles still ongoing.
Towards Kurakhove, the invaders attacked 41 times near Illinka, Novoselydivka, Voznesenka, Novodmitrivka, Dalne and Antonivka. 17 attempts by the occupants to advance have already been repelled. The fighting continues, with the hottest spots being near Illinka and Novoselidivka. Enemy aircraft attacked Kurakhove, Dalne and Andriivka, dropping ten UAVs.
Towards Vremivka, the enemy made nine attempts to storm the positions of our defenders near Rivne, Novodarivka and Trudove. Six combat engagements are ongoing, and Temyrivka, Zelene Pole, Velyka Novosilka and Rozdolne came under attack by enemy bombers and attack aircraft.
In the Orikhivsk sector, enemy aircraft are active, shelling of localities and positions of our troops continues. Zaporizhzhia, Kamianske, Mala Tokmachka and Stepnohirsk came under attack.
Towards Kherson, Ukrainian troops repelled two enemy attacks and another firefight is ongoing.
Towards Kursk, the Defence Forces repelled seven enemy attacks, seven combat engagements are ongoing, and the enemy has carried out eight air strikes, dropping 11 guided aerial bombs on Ukrainian territory.
In other areas, the situation has not changed significantly.
Pokrovsk has 11,500 residents, including 51 children. In total, 18,000 people live in the community. The city has problems with water, gas and electricity supply and russians are shelling Pokrovsk daily with ballistic missiles and FPV drones.
The bodies of 563 fallen defenders were returned to Ukraine. It was possible to repatriate 320 bodies of defenders killed towards Donetsk and 89 fallen soldiers from towards Bakhmut. 154 bodies were also returned from morgues in russia.
Recent war events in the east of Ukraine
Kharkiv oblast
The General Staff reported that as of 4pm, six battles are ongoing in Kharkiv oblast.
Towards Kharkiv, the occupiers stormed the positions of Ukrainian units four times. There is a battle in the area of Vovchansk. Also russia launched airstrikes with its anti-aircraft gunships on Lyptsi and Vilcha.
Towards Kupiansk, russian occupants have been conducting offensive actions near Kolisnykivka, Zahryzove, Kruhlyakivka and Lozova. Five firefights are ongoing
At around 2pm, a Molniia-1 UAV crashed in Saltiv region. The enemy drone detonated in an open area. The RMA reported that two women were injured as a result of the strike: 50 years old and 53 years old, they suffered an acute stress reaction and light shrapnel wounds. They were not hospitalised. The power pole and window glazing in two multi-storey buildings were damaged.

Another drone hit Slobidskyi district of Kharkiv at around 3:30pm. An 11-storey residential building was damaged. A 60-year-old woman was injured by the UAV, and medical aid is being provided at the scene.
Yesterday at 10:46pm, the enemy attacked Kholodnohirskyi district. The shelling damaged the windows of an apartment building.
At 10:10pm, the enemy attacked Kholodnohirskyi district with an S-300 (S-400) missile. As a result of the shelling, a 2-storey building was damaged, as well as the windows of 20 residential buildings. Three people were injured: men aged 22, 38 and a woman aged 34.
At 3:57pm, the enemy attacked Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi village of Kupiansk region. A private house was burning as a result of the shelling.
Towards Kharkiv, russian terrorists unsuccessfully stormed the positions of Ukrainian troops near Vovchansk eight times. Kozacha Lopan was under an airstrike, where the enemy dropped two guided bombs.
Towards Kupiansk, three attacks took place over the day. Defence forces repelled enemy assaults near Kindrashivka, Novoplatonivka and Kolisnykivka.
Over the day, 66 people were evacuated from Kupiansk and Borova directions.
Oleksandr Tertyshnyi, Head of Borova Military Administration, said that about 2,470 people live in Borova community on the left bank of the Oskil river, including more than 80 children. The distance from the contact line to these settlements is between 10 and 23km.
Donetsk oblast
Vadym Filashkin, Head of Donetsk Regional Military Administration, reported that as of 4pm, 15m cubic metres of water have spilled out of Kurakhove reservoir. No residential buildings have been flooded as a result of the water spill from Kurakhove reservoir.
It is not yet possible to assess the damage that the damaged dam at Kurakhivske reservoir may cause to the environment in Donetsk oblast. To do this, environmentalists must go to the site to assess the damage.
Also russians dropped 14 bombs in Donetsk oblast yesterday, injuring four civilians, including a child. Police recorded 3,254 hostile attacks along the frontline and in the residential sector.

11 settlements were attacked by russian troops: Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk, Kurakhove, Lyman, Pokrovsk, Siversk, Chasiv Yar, Bilenke, Shevchenko, Kryva Luka and Mykolaivka. 121 civilian objects were damaged, including 98 residential buildings.
The occupiers dropped three UMPB D-30SN bombs on Kramatorsk, injuring a civilian and damaging 30 private houses and 9 cars.
Russia struck Bilenke of Kramatorsk community with four FAB-250 guided bombs, wounding a boy born in 2008. The damage was done to 30 private houses, an educational institution, a critical infrastructure facility, an administrative building, a shop and 5 civilian cars.
As a result of artillery shelling of Mykolaivka, a person was injured and 6 private houses were damaged.
One person was wounded in Chasiv Yar.
The enemy conducted an airstrike on Kostiantynivka with an UMPBD-30 SN bomb, 22 private houses and a power line were damaged.
In Lyman, an UMPB D-30SN bomb partially destroyed an apartment building.

Also russians launched five UMPBD-30 SN bombs at Kryva Luka, damaging eight private houses.
In Pokrovsk, an enemy drone damaged a trade pavilion. In Kurakhove, a reservoir dam was damaged by russian shelling.
White Angels crew evacuated 13 people and 7 animals from Kurakhove in one flight. During the evacuation, the russians attacked the area with aerial bombs.

In Kostiantynivka, apartment buildings have not been heated. The boiler rooms are being filled and are expected to supply heat to the apartments. The heating season was supposed to start on 1 November, but due to daily shelling of water supply systems, including the second Donetsk water pipeline, boiler houses could not draw water.
Luhansk oblast
The enemy made attempts to squeeze our defenders from their positions towards Siversk and Lyman. Specifically, it attacked near Hrekivka and Balka Zhuravka. They shelled Makiivka and Balka Zhuravka with artillery. The occupiers also used 39 unmanned aerial vehicles in this area. They struck along the entire frontline with guided aerial bombs.
The parents of the fallen Luhansk defender Ruslan Dovhopolyi purchased quadcopters for the 3rd Border Guard Detachment. They bought four Mavic-3 CLASSIKs for the money the state paid them for the loss of their son.
Artem Lysohor, Head of Luhansk Regional Military Administration, reported that there is no water supply in 26 towns and villages in the temporarily occupied Luhansk oblast. These settlements were occupied in 2014 and have not had any repairs or maintenance of utility systems for 10 years.
In Siverskodonetsk, the number of new Lada Granta cars has recently increased significantly. These are the vehicles given to the families of killed and seriously wounded militants. Some of them are manually operated. The russian Federation regularly claims that there are no losses, but the Lada grant fleet is growing exponentially.
What is happening now in the north of Ukraine
Kyiv oblast
Ruslan Kravchenko, Head of the Regional Military Administration, reported that due to another massive night attack by the enemy using a UAV, the alert in Kyiv oblast lasted for 9 hours. As a result of the fall of debris in one of the settlements, 10 private houses, a garage, cars, fences, and the roadway were damaged. Windows and doors were smashed and roofs crashed.
On 11 November, EU Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Kyiv. They discussed further cooperation with the EU, increasing military assistance, lifting restrictions on strikes on military targets in russia and unblocking support under the European Peace Fund.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that yesterday he met with Minister of Defence of Estonia Hanno Pevkur in Kyiv. The parties discussed the possibility of the Estonian side financing the production of long-range drones in Ukraine, Ukraine’s urgent defence needs and assistance in manning new brigades. Estonia announced a new military aid package for Ukraine before the winter.
The RMA reported that more than 200 MAVIC 3T and FPV drones from Kyiv oblast will be sent to Ukrainian defenders to perform combat missions. This equipment will significantly increase the capabilities of the Ukrainian military in reconnaissance, fire control and security on the front line.
Construction of a new multi-storey building on Hostomel Highway in Irpin has begun to replace the one destroyed by the russians. At the beginning of the russian invasion, the building was directly hit during an air raid, so it was decided to dismantle it. The reconstruction will continue in cooperation with the International Organisation for Migration. The new monolithic frame nine-storey building with three entrances will bring 78 families back home.
The Regional Military Administration reported that Kyiv oblast is increasing the energy independence of communities. As of today, 11 cogeneration plants with a total capacity of over 23 MW are operating and have proven their efficiency. Oblast has identified 89 potential locations for cogeneration. Memorandums have already been signed with communities and investors to install cogeneration units with a capacity of about 80 MW at 33 locations in 11 communities. Another 16 locations in the Bucha community are being considered by investors.
Zhovten Cinema in Kyiv hosted the premiere of the documentary Battle for Light, which focuses on the work of air defence, the State Emergency Service and DTEK’s power engineers during the full-scale war. The film was shot by the team of director Vasyl Kyivskyi and produced by Victoriia Kratinova. The Battle for Light tells the stories of the heroes who protect, rescue and restore Ukraine’s energy infrastructure every day.
Zhytomyr oblast
In Veresy village, 55 families of Ukrainians who lost their homes due to the war received keys to new modular houses equipped with everything they need for life. The event was attended by Francesco Pesce, Deputy Head of the Mission of the Republic of Italy in Ukraine, and Dario Vecchi, Head of the Development Cooperation Agency. The Italian Red Cross financed the installation and complete furnishing of 56 modular houses. UAH 46m was allocated from Zhytomyr community budget for the construction of engineering networks.
Sumy oblast
Sumy Regional Military Administration reported that on the night of 11-12 November, russian forces struck Krasnopillia community in Sumy oblast. Three out of four aerial bombs landed on the outskirts of Krasnopillia, damaging five private homes.
During night and morning, russians carried out 16 shelling attacks on border areas and settlements in Sumy oblast, resulting in 16 explosions. The attacks targeted Mykolaivka, Yunakivka, Krasnopillia, Okhtyrka, Shalyhyne, and Seredyna-Buda communities.
On 11 November, russians carried out 85 shelling attacks on border areas and settlements in Sumy oblast, resulting in 167 explosions. The attacks targeted Khotin, Yunakivka, Bilopillia, Myropollia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Shalyhyne, Esman, Seredyna-Buda, Svesa and Znob-Novhorod communities.
Bilopillia community: VOG was dropped from UAVs (23 explosions), artillery shelling (17 explosions), mortar shelling (6 explosions), tank shelling (9 explosions), FPV-drone strikes (2 explosions).
Yunakivka community: the enemy fired artillery (14 explosions), GABs (6 explosions).
Krasnopillia community: VOG was dropped from UAVs (7 explosions), mortar shelling (7 explosions), artillery shelling (3 explosions), FPV-drone strikes (4 explosions).
Myropillia community: russians dropped 12 mines on the territory of the community.
Shalyhyne community: struck by an FPV-drone (1 explosion).
Esman community: recorded FPV-drone strikes (2 explosions).
Khotin community: FPV-drone strikes (6 explosions), artillery shelling (6 explosions), mortar shelling (21 explosions), VOG drop from UAV (1 explosion), airstrikes by KABs (3 explosions).
Velyka Pysarivka community: there were strikes by FPV-drones (6 explosions).
Svesa community: the enemy hit by artillery (5 explosions). As a result of shelling, a private house was damaged.
Seredyna-Buda community: FPV-drone strikes (3 explosions).
Znob-Novhorod community: FPV-drone strikes (3 explosions).
Chernihiv oblast
According to the North Operational Command, around 4am on 12 November, the russian army launched a missile strike. The missile exploded outside populated areas. No injuries were reported, though an agricultural building and a trailer were damaged by the blast.
During the day, the russian army shelled two border communities in Chernihiv oblast: Novhorod-Siverskyi and Semenivka.
Novhorod-Siverskyi community:
– 2 explosions, probably by barrel artillery, in the area of Kamianska Sloboda;
– 5 explosions, probably by FPV-drones in the area of Dibrova.
Semenivka community:
– 5 explosions, probably drops of explosive devices from UAVs and four explosions, probably by FPV-drones in the area of Mykolaivka;
– 4 explosions, probably by a 120mm mortar in the area of Kostobobriv;
– 3 explosions, probably by barrel artillery, near Mkhy;
– 2 explosions, probably by barrel artillery and four explosions, probably by a 120mm mortar in the area of Yanzhulivka;
– 1 explosion, probably the dropping of explosive devices from an unmanned aerial vehicle in the area of Halahanivka;
– 1 explosion, probably the dropping of explosive devices from an unmanned aerial vehicle in the area of Hremiachka.
No casualties or injuries among the local population were reported as a result of the shelling.
Viacheslav Chaus, Head of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, reported that athletes representing Chernihiv oblast at the World Sambo Championship in Astana, Kazakhstan, won one silver and two bronze medals. Yulianna Lysenko claimed the silver in the 65 kg weight category (combat sambo). Maria Buiok earned bronze in the 50kg weight category and Nataliia Smal won bronze in the 72kg weight category (sport sambo).
Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
During the night, air defence forces were active.
The enemy attacked Kamianske region by a drone, damaging a school building, a club and 5 private houses. In the morning, the occupiers struck Nikopol by kamikaze drones, damaging an administrative building and a car wash. There were no casualties reported.
The rescue operation in Kryvyi Rih has concluded. The russians killed a family: the mother, 10-year-old Kyrylo, 2-year-old Demyd and 2-month-old Uliana. Their father, Maksym, survived.
Throughout the day, the enemy heavily shelled Nikopol region with more than 20 attacks by artillery, kamikaze drones, explosive-dropping UAVs and Grad missiles. The strikes targeted the regional centre, Myrove and Marhanets communities. 8 private houses, 5 outbuildings, businesses, cars, a garage and critical infrastructure such as gas pipelines and power lines were damaged.
Vinnytsia oblast
Mayor Serhii Morhunov announced that the Interregional Coordination Humanitarian Headquarters of Vinnytsia oblast has prepared an additional 2,000 FPV drones for the defence forces, which will be deployed in the most critical areas.
Kirovohrad oblast
Victoria Kulikova, Head of the Regional Department of Regional Development, Urban Planning and Architecture, reported that in Kirovohrad oblast, 31 people received compensation under the yeVidnovlennia program for property destroyed or damaged due to the war. A total of UAH 3.95m has been distributed, with 9 additional applications currently under review in communities, including 5 in Kropyvnytskyi region 4 in Oleksandriia region.
Poltava oblast
The next executive committee meeting will finalise compensation for those affected by missile and drone strikes in Poltava oblast, with a total of nearly UAH 3m for 26 applications.
A memorial service for Vitalii Kapinos and Dmytro Kotov was held in Poltava. Vitalii Kapinos, a 46-year-old sniper, killed on 8 February 2024 while performing a mission in Donetsk oblast. Dmytro Kotovyi, who served as a machine gun operator in an infantry battalion, was killed on 19 August 2023, during an assignment in Donetsk oblast.
A memorial plaque for fallen soldier Roman Tverdokhlib was unveiled on the facade of a building on Nechui-Levytskyi Street, 21, by his brother and close friend.
On 27 November, a local cinema will screen a film about air defence soldiers, State Emergency Service rescuers and energy workers, with all proceeds going to support emergency responders.
Cherkasy oblast
Ihor Taburets, Head of the RMA, said that air defence forces in Cherkasy oblast destroyed 12 Shahed drones. In one incident, falling debris ignited dry grass and in another, an explosion damaged windows at a business. There were no injuries reported.
In Mala Sevastianivka village, in Khrystynivka community, an Avenue of Glory was opened in honour of the soldiers who were killed defending Ukraine’s independence.
Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine
Zaporizhzhia oblast
Ivan Fedorov, Head of the RMA, reported that the Russian military attacked a civilian bus by an FPV drone in Prymorsk of Zaporizhzhia oblast. The vehicle was damaged, but there were no casualties reported.
The russian military also struck residential areas in Vasylivka and Zaporizhzhia regions. 2 people were rescued from a damaged high-rise building in Stepnohirsk.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, defence forces in Orikhiv axis repelled an attack near Novoandriivka.
Vladyslav Voloshyn, Spokesperson of Southern Defense Forces, stated that russian forces are reportedly relocating assault groups to forward positions in the south of Zaporizhzhia oblast, likely preparing for an offensive with armoured vehicles.
Ivan Fedorov, Head of the RMA, informed that on 11 November, the russian military launched 432 attacks on 11 cities and villages in Zaporizhzhia oblast. Lobkove, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Bilohiria and Olhivske were under 181 artillery strikes.
Mykolaiv oblast
Vitalii Kim, Head of the RMA, air defence forces in Mykolaiv oblast were active overnight on 12 November. There were no attacks in the oblast.
Odesa oblast
According to the RMA, Odesa faced shelling from russian forces for 4 consecutive days, damaging 121 private houses and 14 apartment buildings, impacting a total of 422 apartments.
Kherson oblast
The russian forces dropped an explosive device from a drone on a resident in Stanislav of Kherson oblast. The 70-year-old man sustained blast trauma, a concussion and multiple shrapnel injuries, while a 44-year-old man also suffered blast trauma and shrapnel wounds to his leg.
In Zelenivka, russian shelling injured 3 women and 2 men, who received medical assistance.
In Veletenske, a 37-year-old man was injured in his home due to russian shelling and was hospitalised.
Around 11am, russian forces attacked Havrylivka by a drone, injuring a 77-year-old man, who sustained blast trauma, shrapnel wounds and a concussion.
According to the State Emergency Service, in the evening, russian shelling caused 2 fires in Kherson, destroying houses, an outbuilding and a vehicle. The fires, covering an area of 220 sq m, were extinguished after 2 emergency response trips.
Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the RMA, said that last night 2 people were killed and 1 injured in Kherson as a result of shelling. The russian forces targeted 12 settlements, damaging an educational facility, medical centre, cultural institution, apartment building and 8 private houses.
Latest news for today in the western regions of Ukraine
Volyn oblast
The RMA reported that during 2024, IDPs who found shelter in Volyn oblast received accommodation assistance in the amount of UAH 275.8m.
Zakarpattia oblast
On 11 November, Ukraine celebrated the 2nd anniversary of the liberation of Kherson and the entire Right Bank of Kherson region. Kherson was under occupation for over 8 months. A commemorative event took place in Uzhhorod on Teatralna Square, which was attended by Uzhhorod residents and Kherson residents who currently live in the city. Participants of the event honoured the memory of the war killed with a moment of silence and expressed solidarity with all those who continue the struggle for freedom and peace in Ukraine.
Ivano-Frankivsk oblast
In Ivano-Frankivsk, UAH 60,000 were allocated from the budget for 21 families of fallen and deceased Heroes as assistance for erecting a monument. Since the beginning of the year, such payments have been approved for 115 families in the amount of UAH 6.9m.
Lviv oblast
In the village of Zavadiv, Strii region, on the territory of the Zavadiv gymnasium, memorial plaques in honour of Roman Hresk, Roman Tsepukh and Roman Tsarevich were opened and consecrated.
Rivne oblast
Representatives of Rivne oblast visited Sumy oblast, which is constantly suffering from enemy shelling. Sumy and Yunakiv communities were visited. First of all, they agreed on the supply of the most necessary for the restoration of houses, included, slate, glass, film, nails, etc. It is also planned to purchase utility equipment and equip a modular village council. Ternopil oblast
Military servicemen from Ternopil oblast were (posthumously) awarded with the II and III degrees For Courage orders, the III degree Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Order. High state awards were presented to relatives of the fallen Heroes.
Khmelnytskyi oblast
The RMA reported that military exercises were conducted within Khmelnytskyi community.
Khmelnytskyi community sent the powerful complex of REE and REP Bukovel worth UAH 4.6m to one of the combat units of the Defense Forces. The complex includes full provision of the crew a car, a control system, the actual complex that detects and “plants” the UAV.
Chernivtsi oblast
Anastasia Ilika, wife of a combatant, at the beginning of the year received a Grant for Veterans and Their Family Members and successfully started her own business. She opened a cafe called Caffeine_stories with fresh pastries in the village of Panka, Storozhinetsk community. With the funds of the grant, the entrepreneur bought furniture and necessary equipment for the institution, paid for marketing services and the purchase of raw materials. At her own expense, she repaired and furnished the premises. In addition, it has already created two jobs.
International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)
Josep Borrell, Head of European diplomacy, announced that the European Union sent over 980,000 artillery shells out of the promised million to Ukraine.
