Ukraine’s defence forces are holding back the offensive of the russian occupiers. Terrorists continue to destroy Ukrainian cities and villages with missile, air and artillery strikes.
Our soldiers are taking every measure to prevent the enemy from advancing deep into Ukrainian territory.
So far, 60 combat engagements have taken place.
The communities of Popivka, Ponomarenky, Riasne, Pokrovka in Sumy oblast and Klinova-Novoselivka in Kharkiv oblast were hit by enemy artillery and mortar fire today. Hremiachka, Chernihiv oblast, was hit by an air strike.
Towards Kharkiv, Zolochiv and Veterynarne were hit by enemy aircraft.
Towards Kupiansk, the russian occupiers attacked the positions of the defence forces four times in the areas of Kindrashivka, Petropavlivka and Zahryzove, and one battle is currently underway.
Towards Lyman, the invading army attacked Ukrainian positions four times during the day near Novoserhiivka, Zelenyi Hai, Novoliubivka and Yampolivka.
Towards Kramatorsk, Ukrainian defenders repelled four assault attacks by russian invaders, the enemy is trying to break through in the areas of Vasiukivka, Hryhorivka and Chasiv Yar. The enemy launched a drone strike on Druzhkivka.
Towards Toretsk, our defenders repelled six occupants’ attacks near Toretsk, Dyliivka and Shcherbynivka, and four more combat engagements are ongoing. Katerynivka and Oleksandro-Shultyne came under air strikes.
Towards Pokrovsk, the russian invaders made 19 attempts to push our defenders from their positions in the areas of Tarasivka, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Molodetske, Udachne, Nadiivka, Oleksiivka, Dachne and Shevchenko. The defence forces are holding back the enemy’s attack and repelled 17 attacks, with two combat engagements still ongoing. Pokrovsk, Leontovychi and Muravka came under air strikes.
Towards Novopavlivka, the enemy tried to break through the defences of our defenders in the area of Kostiantynopil five times. One battle is currently underway.
Towards Huliaipole, there were two firefights with the enemy in the area of Charivne.
Towards Orikhiv, the enemy launched an air strike near Omelnyk, dropping seven UAVs.
Towards Kherson, the enemy dropped two aerial bombs on the village of Prydniprovske.
Towards Kursk oblast, there were 12 combat engagements, eight of which are still ongoing. In addition, the enemy conducted eight air strikes, dropping 13 unmanned aerial vehicles.
The situation in other sectors remained unchanged.
The Ministry of Defence has approved Ukrainian Baton drones for operation. The “war birds” of these complexes can operate in different weather conditions: in cold and heat. The drones have good dynamic properties. In particular, they can catch up with and hit enemy targets at high speed.
Andrii Yermak, Head of the Office of the President, reported that 4 more children were returned from the russian occupation to Ukraine. A 17-year-old boy openly resisted russification, demonstrating his unwavering loyalty to Ukraine despite the threat to his life. Thanks to their grandfather’s courage and resilience, 15-year-old twins managed to avoid forced education in russian schools saturated with propaganda. And a 10-year-old boy who lost his parents during the shelling was threatened with being placed in an orphanage, but his grandmother managed to save her grandson.

According to the General Staff, the community of Klynove-Novoselivka suffered from artillery and mortar shelling, while airstrikes targeted Zolochiv and Veterynarne.

Drone Attack on Zolochiv Community
Head Viktor Kovalenko said that at around 4:30pm, russian forces, reportedly using a Lancet UAV, struck Zolochiv community. The attack targeted an open area near the village of Berezivka, damaging two pieces of specialized equipment. No casualties were reported.
Airstrikes on Zolochiv Community
Between 11:10 and 11:20am, russian aviation launched seven guided aerial bombs (KAB) on Zolochiv community:
- Two KABs hit the town of Zolochiv, destroying two private homes and partially damaging 11 others. Seven civilians were injured: four women (aged 67, 93, 43, and 68), two men (76 and 69 years old), and a 12-year-old boy.
- One KAB struck an agricultural enterprise, damaging farm structures but causing no casualties.
- Other KAB strikes were recorded in:
- Svitlychne outskirts (1 KAB)
- Near Orishanka (2 KABs)
- Open area in Berezivka (1 KAB) – no damage or casualties
- Open area in Makarykha (1 KAB) – no damage or casualties

Andrii Kanashievychn? Head of Kupiansk RMA, informed that Monachynivka, Kupiansk region, on 11 February, an emergency medical vehicle came under fire. There were no casualties as a result of the attack. The director of the Emergency Medical Center, Viktor Zabashta, reported that the vehicle’s windows were shattered, and the front doors were pierced—one fragment went through both doors.
At 1am, Kharkiv region was attacked, specifically in the Merefa urban community, city of Merefa. As a result of a downed UAV, warehouse buildings were damaged.

The day before, at 2:50pm, Horokhovatka village were under attack. As a result of a UAV strike on a tree, a private house was damaged.
At 2:46pm, Prystyn village was attacked. A Molniya UAV and an FPV drone strike damaged a car and a cultural center.
At 1:27pm, Kupiansk was shelled. A private house caught fire due to shelling. A 99-year-old woman suffered an acute stress reaction but refused hospitalization.
At 1:19pm, Malyi Burluk village was attacked. A follow-up inspection revealed a KAB strike on open terrain.
At 1pm, Kupiansk district, the city of Kupiansk was shelled, damaging a private house.
At 11:57am, Kozacha Lopan village was attacked. A gas pipeline was damaged due to shelling.
At 10:30am, Borshchova village was shelled. The enemy artillery strike hit a forested open area.
At 9:50am, Dovzhanka village was attacked. A KAB strike hit open terrain.
According to Deputy Head of the Regional Military Administration Olena Lohvinova, since the beginning of russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, 433 healthcare facilities have been damaged due to shelling in the oblast. She stated that 106 medical facilities have already been restored. Due to the constant threat of russian shelling, the region is developing the concept of underground hospitals.
Other News
- In the past day, 56 people (including one child) were evacuated from Kupiansk and Borova directions.
- Kharkiv regionoblast has received seven new ambulances. This is the second batch of vehicles delivered in the past six months, provided by the Olena Zelenska Foundation with support from a partner in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Nearly 7,000 people have joined the “Restoration Army” in Kharkiv oblas—the highest number in Ukraine. They assist displaced persons, clear debris, restore housing, clean up territories, and weave camouflage nets. The most active is Derhachi community, which has been under shelling since the first days of the war, with some of its settlements occupied until autumn 2022.
Donetsk oblast
Frontline
As reported by the Khortytsia Operational-Strategic Grouping of Troops, Ukrainian forces raised the national flag over the Toretsk mine. Earlier, the Liut assault brigade also raised a flag in the city center. Heavy fighting continues in Toretsk. On 7 February, the russian Ministry of Defense claimed it had captured the city, despite ongoing battles. This claim was refuted by the Ukrainian Armed Forces at the time.
Towards Lyman, Ukrainian forces destroyed a rare piece of russian military equipment—a naval bomb launcher Smerch-2.
Russian forces have intensified their attacks and assaults along the entire front line. Over the past day, the number of battles recorded by the General Staff in its morning report reached 139, an increase of 40.
The enemy has resumed assaults towards Siversk, launching six attacks near Bilohorivka, Verkhnokamianske, Serebrianka, and Hryhorivka.
Attempts to breach Ukrainian defenses have also increased towards Pokrovsk, Lyman, Kramatorsk, and Novopavlivka.
Shelling
According to Head Filashkin said that russian forces carried out airstrikes on the city of Kostiantynivka, injuring three people. Three FAB-250 bombs were dropped on the city, damaging over 30 private homes, power lines, and a gas pipeline.
Over the past day, the enemy launched 3,809 attacks along the frontline and on residential areas. According to police reports, nine settlements were targeted. A total of 38 civilian objects were damaged, including 30 residential buildings.
In Pokrovsk, russian forces hit a civilian car with a drone, injuring one person. Additionally, an artillery strike damaged a private house.
In Kostiantynivka, russian troops attacked with drones and artillery, injuring a civilian and damaging three private houses and a civilian vehicle.
One person was wounded in the village of Pershe Travnya, where a household was affected.
In Myrnohrad, russia dropped an FAB-250 bomb, damaging six private houses and several market stalls.
The enemy shelled Raihorodok with a Smerch multiple launch rocket system, damaging 14 private houses and two cars.
In Bilokuzmynivka, three houses were damaged. In the village of Shevchenko, Dobropillia community, two households and a power line were affected.
Other
Six local media outlets have decided to suspend content publication for 48 hours to draw attention to the importance of media presence during wartime, following the termination of grant funding.
In the village of Karpivka, 227 people remain. The front line is 18km away. The village has a medical aid post, a library, a cultural center, and a single store.
Luhansk oblast
The enemy attempted to advance in Bilohorivka, near Novolubivka and Novoiehorivka, with air support. Additionally, russian forces used artillery six times. They directed 276 drones toward Ukrainian defenders. Back in December, the enemy used only half as many UAVs daily in this section of the front.
In Luhansk, traffic will be blocked on three bridges, which have finally been recognized as hazardous by the occupation administration. Authorities are trying to introduce additional detour routes using municipal transport, but there is a shortage of drivers. At the end of December, Russians declared eight more bridges and overpasses in the so-called “lpr” to be in critical condition.
Even transport operators are acknowledging the drastic population decline in Siverskodonetsk. Due to low passenger demand, they plan to double the fare for urban and suburban transportation.
What is happening now in the north of Ukraine
Kyiv oblast
The RMA reported that at night the enemy attacked Kyiv oblast with a UAV once again. The alert lasted all night. As a result of the enemy attack in Boryspil district, a blast wave damaged a kindergarten, two school buildings, a private house and a playground. On the spot, utility services are eliminating the consequences of the enemy’s night attack. Educational institutions are expected to resume full-time work next week.
The course for women of the Ukrainian Women’s Guard ‘Preparing the population for national resistance’ continues. The last lesson in January was dedicated to unmanned aerial vehicles. It was about the areas of application of drones, the design and functionality of different types of UAVs, the features of a thermal imaging camera and the use of civilian drones in combat. Each participant of the course tried their hand at being an operator, learning the basic skills of UAV control.
The regional prosecutor’s office reported that a 41-year-old russian soldier who shot a car with civilians in Kyiv oblast during the russian invasion had been identified. On 25 February 2022, in the temporarily occupied village of Hostomel, the suspect shot a car with two civilians heading towards Bucha with a machine gun. The man and woman died on the spot from their injuries.
Employees of a Kyiv oblast utility company came across a suspicious object in a forest belt. Specialists of the State Emergency Service found out that it was a warhead of a self-propelled warhead from an RBK-500 cluster bomb. These are used by russian troops. The sappers destroyed the discovery on the spot.
Mykola Kalashnyk, Head of Kyiv Regional Military Administration, said that the delegation from Azerbaijan, headed by Seymur Gurban oglu Mardaliyev, the Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Ukraine, had got acquainted with the current results of reconstruction and the current needs of the region. The Azerbaijani partners helped Kyiv oblast to reconstruct the damaged school №12 and overhaul the city’s central hospital in Irpin.
Zhytomyr oblast
Zhytomyr City Council reported that it plans to introduce a new centralised alert system to ensure timely and accurate information to community members in case of emergencies.
The event organiser and head of the Palai NGO informed that in Berdychiv, 19 veterans and servicemen attended a psychology retreat on Overcoming Stress and cyber boxing training. This is the first time such a retreat has been held as part of the Gratitude to Heroes project.
The RMA reported that a Safety Class was opened at the Potiivka Lyceum. The specialised educational space is aimed at developing children’s skills in safe behaviour and emergency response.
Sumy oblast
On 11 February, around 3pm, the russian army dropped two guided aerial bombs on the civilian infrastructure of Krasnopillia community. As a result of the attack, a 40-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman were killed. According to Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the russian strike damaged an agricultural enterprise, homes, a school, a tractor brigade building, and private cars.

During night and morning, russians carried out 5 shelling attacks on border areas and settlements in Sumy oblast, resulting in 5 explosions: 4 shots by GABs and one shot by an FPV-drone. The RMA reported that attacks targeted Yunakivka, Khotin, and Bilopillia communities.
In the sky over Sumy oblast, anti-aircraft gunners shot down 8 enemy Shahed-type UAVs. Since the beginning of 2025, air defense units in the oblast have destroyed 367 russian drones.
During the past day, russians carried out 117 shelling attacks on border areas and settlements in Sumy oblast, resulting in 154 explosions. The enemy carried out strikes by FPV-drones (30 explosions), UAVs (1 explosion), GABs (19 explosions), artillery shelling (24 explosions), mortar shelling (24 explosions), and dropping explosives from UAVs (56 explosions).
On 10 February the attacks targeted Khotin, Yunakivka, Myropilia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Shalyhyne, Khutir-Mykhailivskyi, And Seredyna-Buda communities. As a result of enemy strikes in Velyka Pysarivka community, a non-residential building, 6 vehicles, a feldsher-midwife station, two stores, and three private residential houses were damaged.
In the evening of 10 February, emergency restoration works in Sumy were completed following the UAV strike by russian forces on 9 February. Necessary assistance was provided to 115 people at a heating station set up by rescuers. Damaged apartment windows were repaired. Power, water, and heating systems in the damaged buildings are operating normally.
The Regional Military Administration informed that all children have been evacuated from 90 settlements in the border communities of Sumy oblast. A total of 777 children were removed from the most dangerous areas of the region.
Chernihiv oblast
Leonid Myslyvets, Head of Oster community, reported that at night, the russian army attacked Yevmynka village in Oster community by a drone. As a result of the attack, five households were damaged.
On 10 February, russian Shahed/Gerbera-type UAV exploded in Bakhmach. According to the North Operational Command, as a result of the strike, an agricultural facility was damaged.
During the day on 10 February, the russian army attacked 9 settlements in four border communities of Chernihiv oblast: Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, Snovsk, and Horodnia. According to the State Border Guard Service, the enemy carried out 5 strikes by FPV-drones, 4 strikes by AGS-17, 15 mortar strikes, 11 artillery strikes, and dropped explosive devices from UAVs 6 times.
The Northern Forestry Office of the State Enterprise “Forests of Ukraine” informed that in Chernihiv oblast, due to the full-scale invasion of russian troops and ongoing combat actions, 5,167 hectares of forest remain mined as of early February. In 2024, 27.6 hectares of forest in Nizhyn and Chernihiv forestry regions were demined. Additionally, over the past year, 25 fires occurred in the oblast due to artillery shelling, explosions of shells, and falling debris from missiles and drones. The fires affected 93.71 hectares of forest areas.
Viacheslav Chaus, Head of the Regional Military Administration, reported that partners from the UNHCR visited Chernihiv oblast – representatives of the embassies of Brazil, Ireland, Portugal, Belgium, and Poland. At the meeting, topics included education, healthcare, and critical infrastructure. Thanks to the help of the partners, home restoration is underway in Chernihiv oblast, and people are receiving material support and psychological assistance.
Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
In the evening and overnight, russian forces continued terrorizing civilians in Nikopol region. As a result of the attacks, 4 people were injured: women aged 18, 44 and 78, and a 67-year-old man. The enemy targeted Nikopol, Myrove, Marhanets and Chervonohryhorivka communities, by artillery, Grad MLRS and kamikaze drones. The attacks caused fires and damaged 4 high-rise buildings, 35 private houses, 11 outbuildings, a car wash, 6 cars, power lines, gas pipelines and other infrastructure. Pavlohrad was also hit, damaging 3 private houses, a garage and a car. By morning, russian forces attacked Nikopol region, shelling Myrove community by artillery.
During the night, Ukrainian air defence from the East Air Command shot down a russian UAV.
During the day, russian troops launched nearly 30 attacks on Nikopol region, by artillery, kamikaze drones and dropping explosives from UAVs. In Nikopol, a 78-year-old woman was injured, receiving medical assistance. The enemy targeted Nikopol, Pokrov, Marhanets and Chervonohryhorivka communities, causing fires and severe damage to 4 apartment buildings, 9 private homes, industrial and transport facilities, 7 outbuildings, a store, clinic, greenhouse, gas station, power lines, gas pipelines and several vehicles, including a moped.
Vinnytsia oblast
The Interregional Coordination Humanitarian Headquarters provided the military with 20 new vehicles for mobile fire groups.
Mayor Serhii Morhunov stated that Vinnytsia oblast handed over Mavic 3T drones, 30 explosive payloads and charging devices to Ukrainian forces.
Kirovohrad oblast
In Kropyvnytskyi region, fragments of a downed russian drone damaged windows and roofs of several private homes and power lines.
Kropyvnytskyi paid tribute to 37-year-old soldier Maksym Davydovych, who was killed on 2 July 2024, while carrying out a combat mission near Paraskoviivka, Pokrovsk region, Donetsk oblast. He was missing for 7 months before being confirmed dead.
Poltava oblast
The russian forces attacked Myrhorod region, leaving 9 settlements without gas supply. The Naftogaz Group’s industrial facilities in Poltava oblast were damaged.
A memorial plaque was unveiled in Poltava in honor of Viktor Pertsukh, a soldier who died in 2022 in Luhansk oblast. The plaque was placed on the facade of Gymnasium No.25, where he studied.
In Poltava, specialists are inspecting a partially destroyed building hit by a russian missile on 1 February. They are assessing whether to restore the 1st entrance or demolish it. Approximately UAH 1m from the community budget will be allocated for expert evaluations of 3 high-rise buildings and a kindergarten.
Cherkasy oblast
Ukrainian forces destroyed 17 russian drones across the oblast. In Cherkasy oblast, 2 men were injured by falling debris and were hospitalised. Both are in moderate condition.
Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine
Zaporizhzhia oblast
As reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Operational Command South, no direct combat clashes were recorded on Huliaipole and Orikhiv fronts on 10 February, but russian forces continue conducting engineering and aerial reconnaissance.
Ivan Fedorov, Head of the RMA, reported that on 10 February, the russian military launched 481 attacks on 11 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast, including 16 airstrikes on Tavriiske and Huliaipole.
According to the RMA, russian forces are finishing the construction of a so-called “Military-Sports Training Centre” at the site of the former Iskra children’s camp in Berdiansk. The russian occupiers plan to train children from the age of 14 at the “Warrior” military camp, subjecting them to intensive exercises in firearms, engineering and military-applied training.
Mykolaiv oblast
According to the RMA, during the night of 11 February, Ukrainian air defence forces shot down 6 Shahed-131/136 drones over Mykolaiv oblast. Due to falling debris and the shockwave, a non-operational high school building in Voznesensk region was damaged. There were no injuries reported. On 10 February, russian forces attacked Kutsurub community by an FPV drone.
Odesa oblast
Referring to the State Border Guard Service, during the night of February 11, Ukrainian border guards shot down a russian drone on Odesa oblast.
As reported by Operational Command South, on the evening of 10 February, russia launched 3 Kh-31P anti-radar missiles toward Odesa oblast.
None of them reached their targets.
Kherson oblast
According to the State Emergency Service, in the evening, russian forces shelled residential areas in Kherson, causing fires in 2 apartments. Emergency services extinguished the flames.
Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the RMA, informed that during a night drone attack, Ukrainian air defence shot down a russian Shahed-131/136 drone over Kherson oblast.
Liza Yevseieva, Co-founder of Novokakhovka Society for the Protection of Cultural Heritage, said that in temporarily occupied Nova Kakhovka, a russian attack damaged the Albin Gawdzinski Art Gallery, the Local History Museum, and the post office. These cultural sites are classified as national monuments of urban planning and monumental art.
According to the RMA, 2 mobile shelters were installed by the Ukrainian Red Cross in Dariivka community.
A 65-year-old woman in Beryslav stepped on a russian Petal mine, suffering an explosive injury, a concussion and shrapnel wounds to her leg and chest. She received urgent medical assistance.
According to local police, they evacuated an 84-year-old woman and her 63-year-old daughter from Beryslav. Their relatives contacted police for help. The evacuation took place in complete darkness due to the constant threat of russian drones.
According to the RMA, a girl and 3 boys were rescued from russian-occupied territories in Kherson oblast, bringing the total number of children evacuated from the left bank since the start of the year to 11.
According to activists from the Yellow Ribbon resistance movement, in Tavriisk, children in kindergartens are being forced to draw postcards and write letters to russian soldiers.
Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the RMA, reported that on 10 February, 2 people were killed, and 6 were injured in russian attacks on 34 settlements in Kherson oblast. The shelling damaged gas pipelines, agricultural equipment, 6 apartment buildings, 12 private houses and several cars.

Volyn oblast
Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 has started in Canada. 550 participants from 25 countries are participating in the competition. The Ukrainian team consists of 35 servicemen and veterans who were wounded, injured or fell ill during or as a result of their duties in the combat zone of the russian-Ukrainian war since 2014. Among them, 3 are from Volyn oblast.
Zakarpattia oblast
Keretsk community received a Skoda utility vehicle with a large, roomy body that clears snow, sprinkles the road, and has a summer set of accessories from Vysochyna region.
Ivano-Frankivsk oblast
Representatives of Yaremche community visited Oleksandrivsk village council, Donetsk oblast as part of the Side by Side national project. They discussed the rehabilitation of children from the Oleksandrivsk community, Yaremche region, and holding joint sports events. Parties also agreed to involve foreign partners for international assistance, support the community’s material reserves, and eliminate the possible consequences of infrastructure damage.
Lviv oblast
The RMA held a meeting with Britta Holmberg, Executive Director of the World Childhood Foundation, and Joel Borgstrom, Senior Manager of Child Protection Programs. The World Children’s Fund promotes the implementation of the best European experience in developing services taking into account the best interests of the child and the family.
The RMA reported that among those who returned home in the recent prisoner exchange is 44-year-old Vitalii Jos. In May 2022, during the fighting for Lyman, Donetsk oblast, contact with Vitalii Jos was lost, and it later became known that he was in captivity.
Rivne oblast
The Dialogue Platform for the implementation of veterans’ policy Rivne Unity gathered in Rivne representatives of state authorities, local self-government, military, security forces, the public and media representatives. The purpose of the meeting is to strengthen cooperation at all levels to resolve problematic issues of protecting the rights and interests of families of missing persons, deceased defenders and servicemen who are in captivity.
Ternopil oblast
A soldier from Ternopil will receive his own apartment. The city will help him with the 1st payment – over UAH 208,000 through the eOselia program. Under this program, the city council compensates 20% of the 1st payment on a mortgage loan to soldiers who are currently defending Ukraine. Thanks to this support, 17 soldiers have already purchased housing.
Khmelnytskyi oblast
Khmelnytskyi community sent 1,000 reinforced batteries for FPV drones worth UAH 2.6m to the Defense Forces.
Chernivtsi oblast
A memorial plaque was unveiled in Chernivtsi in honor of Oleksandr Horiuk, a sniper of the 80th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade/ He was killed on 28 September 2022 during a combat mission in Kharkiv oblast. The street where the memorial plaque was unveiled is named in his honor.

Ihor Zhovkva, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office, met with Elisabeth Kornfeind, Deputy Minister for European and International Affairs of Austria, Special Representative for the Reconstruction of Ukraine. They discussed Ukraine’s membership in the EU.
