Ukraine’s defence forces are holding back the offensive of the russian occupiers. Terrorists continue to destroy Ukrainian cities and villages with missile, air and artillery strikes.
The defence forces are taking the necessary measures to prevent the enemy from advancing deeper into Ukrainian territory.
So far, 83 combat engagements have taken place.
Today, the communities of Pokrovka and Sorokyne in Sumy oblast suffered from enemy artillery and mortar fire.
Towards Kharkiv, enemy aviation activity resulted in attacks on Velykyi Burluk and Shevchenkove. The enemy attempted to advance in the area of Vovchansk and was repelled.
Towards Kupiansk, the russian occupiers attacked the positions of the defence forces six times near Kindrashivka, Petropavlivka, Stepova Novoselivka and Zahryzove, and the battle is currently ongoing.
Towards Lyman, the invading army attacked Ukrainian positions nine times during the day near the settlements of Kopanky, Novoliubivka, Yampolivka, Terny and Kolodiazi. Four firefights are still ongoing.
Towards Kramatorsk, Ukrainian defenders repelled five assault attacks by russian invaders, the enemy is trying to break through in the areas of Vasiukivka and Chasiv Yar.
Towards Toretsk, our defenders repelled three occupants’ attacks near Toretsk and Shcherbynivka, and six combat engagements are ongoing.
Towards Pokrovsk, the russian invaders made 28 attempts to push our defenders from their positions near Baranivka, Vodiane Druhe, Miroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Dachanske, Zvirove, Udachne, Uspenivka, Nadiivka, Andriivka and Dachne. The defence forces are holding back the attack and repelled 23 enemy attacks, five of which are still ongoing.
Towards Novopavlivka, the enemy tried to break through the defences of our defenders ten times in the areas of Zelenivka, Vremivka and Novosilka. Currently, six battles are ongoing.
Towards Huliaipole, the enemy attacked Sichneve with a guided aerial bomb and fired three times at Huliaipole with unguided missiles.
Towards Kursk, 15 combat engagements took place since the beginning of the day, six of which are still ongoing. In addition, the enemy carried out 19 air strikes, downing 31 UAVs.
The situation in other sectors remained unchanged.
Oleksandr Pivnenko, Commander of the National Guard of Ukraine, reported that more than 900 fire groups are protecting Ukraine’s critical infrastructure. About 500 of them are mobile fire groups, the rest are stationary. All fire teams will be transformed into mobile fire teams with technical assistance to make their work more effective.
This year, Ukraine is to produce 30,000 long-range drones and 3,000 cruise missiles and drone missiles. This is a task from the President of Ukraine. As part of the Weapons of Victory project, long-term contracts with manufacturers for 3-5 years will be launched. The Danish model will be developed, whereby partners buy weapons from the Ukrainian defence industry for the needs of the Ukrainian army. By 2025, more than $1bn is expected to be raised. Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said that this year, Ukraine has a record budget for the army and strengthening the defence industry – UAH 2tn 230bn, with spending on weapons and military equipment amounting to at least UAH 739bn.

Kharkiv oblast
Frontline
The General Staff reported that towards Kharkiv, the Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled one attack by russian troops in the direction of Vovchansk. In addition, the russians conducted airstrikes on Velykyi Burluk and Shevchenkove.
Towards Kupiansk, the russian army attacked Ukrainian positions six times during the day near Kindrashivka, Petropavlivka, Stepova Novoselivka and Zahryzove. One firefight is ongoing as of 4pm.
Towards Lyman, russian troops attacked nine times, in particular near Kopanky, Novoliubivka, Yampolivka, Terny and Kolodiazi. Four battles are ongoing.
Ruslan Mykula, co-founder of the Deepstate analytical project, said that the russian occupiers may try to enter Kupiansk from the northwest, not from the northeast, as previously planned. Now the problematic area is north of Kupiansk, where the enemy has several footholds and is trying to build on its success. He is particularly active in the area of Zakhidne, where he is trying to take the town under his full control and is also moving towards Holubivka and Kindrashivka.
The RMA reported that yesterday towards Kharkiv, our troops repelled three enemy attacks near Vovchansk and Fyholivka.
Towards Kupiansk, there were seven enemy attacks yesterday. The defence forces repelled the assault near the settlements of Bohuslavka, Stepova Novosilka, Holubivka, Nova Kruhliakivka, Petropavlivka and Zahryzove.
Attacks
The RMA reported that a 99-year-old resident of Kupiansk suffered an acute stress reaction as a result of shelling of the town at around 1:16pm. The woman received help on the spot and refused to be hospitalised. As a result of the strike, a fire broke out in a private house, and rescuers extinguished it.
At 3:05am, Buhaivka village of Chuhuiv region were under attack. As a result of UAV shelling, the roof of an outbuilding burned. In Buhaivka, Vovchansk community, rescuers spent five hours extinguishing a fire over an area of 600 sq m caused by a russian UAV strike on the night of 10 February.
Yesterday 7pm, Liutivka of Bohodukhiv region was attacked, a 32-year-old man was injured and hospitalised as a result of an FPV drone hit.
At 5pm, Slatyne were under attack. As a result of the shelling of the UAV, 7 private residential buildings were damaged and the power line was damaged.
At 5pm, Udy village came under attack, 3 MLRS hit the ground outside, in the open area.
At 3:30pm, Kupiansk was attacked. An FPV drone crashed on the road surface.
At 10:15am, Kozacha Lopan village came under attack. A private residential building was damaged as a result of shelling from Grad multiple rocket launcher systems.
Six people were killed and 64 people were wounded in Kharkiv region as a result of russian shelling during the week. Most of the casualties were caused by a russian missile attack on Izium on 4 February.
Other
The documentary The Porcelain War has won the top award at the Directors Guild of America. The directors Brendan Bellomo and Slava Leontiev were awarded for “outstanding directorial achievement in documentary filmmaking” in 2024. The film has already won the Grand Prix at Sundance and will compete for the Best Documentary Feature at the Academy Awards.
Donetsk oblast
Frontline
The General Staff reported that the russian army has increased the number of attacks towards Lyman and Toretsk, while reducing the number of attacks on Pokrovsk.
The russian army attacked ten times towards Lyman. They tried to advance near the settlements of Zelenyi Hai, Novoserhiivka, Yampolivka, Kolodiazi, Kopanky and Novoliubivka.
Towards Toretsk, the russian army attacked 13 times near Toretsk, Krymske and Shcherbynivka.
Towards Pokrovsk, the Ukrainian Armed Forces stopped 33 enemy attacksnear Zelene Pole, Vodiane Druhe, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Pishchane, Udachne, Novooleksandrivka, Andriivka and Dachne.
Towards Kramatorsk, russia-backed militants tried to break through twice towards Chasiv Yar. And towards Novopavlivka, the occupiers used aviation to support the assaults, but ten attacks near Kostiantynopil were in vain.
The Khortytsia military unit reported that the russian military tried six times to plant flags in different locations in Toretsk “in order to create a picture”. On 7 February, the russian Ministry of Defence stated that it had captured the city of Toretsk, despite the fact that fighting was ongoing in the city. This statement was denied by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Attacks
Anastasiia Miedviedieva, Spokeswoman of the Regional Prosecutor’s Office, reported that russian troops shelled the village of Leontovychi. As a result, a 73-year-old man was wounded.
The RMA reported that russian troops conducted 3,403 attacks on the front line and the residential sector. ‘Four settlements were attacked: Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk, Sviatohirsk and Hulove village. The enemy dropped 10 aerial bombs on the residential sector: 9 on Kostiantynivka and 1 on Kramatorsk. More than 100 destructions were documented, including 69 apartment buildings and 47 private houses, infrastructure facilities, 76 garages, and more than 25 civilian cars.

The russians dropped a 500kg bomb on Kramatorsk, killing a 52-year-old civilian man and injuring 12 others. At least 7 private houses, an outpatient clinic and civilian cars were damaged.
The enemy struck Kostiantynivka 11 times, 9 of them with FAB-500 and FAB-250 bombs. 5 civilians were wounded: three men aged 43, 60, 64 and two women aged 56 and 82. 13 apartment buildings and 6 private houses, a hotel, a garage cooperative (76 garages), 22 civilian cars, 7 power lines, a gas pipeline were destroyed.
In addition, it was established that on 8 February, a russian bomb hit 6 private houses in Serhiivka, Udachna community.
Luhansk oblast
The occupiers have concentrated their attack efforts near Novoliubivka, where Ukrainian defenders are preventing them from advancing. According to the RMA, the enemy is firing at the Ukrainian Armed Forces mainly with cannon artillery and drones. Yesterday alone, they used 259 drones in Luhansk oblast.
Rubizhne community handed over 210 FPV drones to the 60th separate mechanised Ingulets brigade.
The so-called “lpr” is discussing that Siverskodonetsk has lost the head of the occupation administration as he attempted to commit suicide in a pre-trial detention centre. It seems to have been successful. A week ago, during his detention, the russians charged him with forming a criminal group that committed the murder of 11 people, the abduction of six others, several robberies, extortion, and embezzlement. However, the money at stake in the case would not have been enough for Morhunov to buy a political refugee’s house in Rostov oblast. Since 1 February, his deputy, Sylkina, has disappeared from the public eye.
In the occupied territory of Luhansk oblast, the local population was once again left without drinking water. This time it was due to a power line failure. Pumping stations that supplied water to Khrustalne, Antratsyt, Brianka, Almazna, Petrovo-Krasnosillia, and 40% of Kadiivka’s population have been cut off – about 220,000 people have lost water. This territory of the so-called “lpr” was not affected by hostilities and even shelling.
What is happening now in the north of Ukraine
Kyiv oblast
Kyiv Regional Military Administration reported that russian troops attacked Kyiv oblast with drones at night. As a result, three private houses and an educational institution in Fastiv district were damaged. There were no civilian casualties and no hits to critical infrastructure.
According to Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klychko, a non-residential building and the surrounding area were on fire in Solomianskyi district of Kyiv due to the fall of debris from an enemy drone.
The State Emergency Service reported that local residents found the wreckage of a russian drone in Kyiv oblast and called rescuers. The sappers who arrived at the scene identified the find as the remains of a russian Gerbera UAV. The drone was seized for further investigation.
The EU Ambassador to Ukraine, Katarina Mathernova, said that the head of the European Investment Bank (EIB), Nadia Calvigno, arrived in Kyiv on 10 February.
The Regional Military Administration announced that the overhaul of the lyceum in Makariv is underway at the expense of the European Investment Bank. The educational institution suffered significant damage as a result of active hostilities in early 2022. In addition, the contractor will perform thermal modernisation of the building, install warning, ventilation and fire alarm systems.
Bucha City Council reported that 24-year-old veteran Daniel Kwasniewski, a resident of Kyiv, started his own business thanks to the grant. From the first days of the full-scale invasion, he stood up to defend his hometown and later joined the Third Assault Brigade. During one of the battles at the front, Daniel was seriously wounded and needed a long-term rehabilitation. Later, he decided to open his own Asian food delivery business in Bucha. He donates part of his profits to the needs of the frontline.
Zhytomyr oblast
On 10 February, the RMA reported that power restrictions for industry and business were imposed in Zhytomyr oblast. These temporary restrictions were imposed due to damage to power facilities during previous russian missile and drone attacks. Power engineers are repairing equipment damaged by the enemy.
In Zviahel, families of prisoners of war and missing defenders met with a representative of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights.
10 FPV drones were handed over to the commander of the unmanned systems battalion, Viacheslav Shutenko, from Zhytomyr Regional Military Association and Derevlianshchyna Development Charitable Foundation. Last week, the unit received one of the 5 vehicles that the Regional Military Administration handed over to Ukrainian defenders.
The Veterans’ Sport programme is being expanded in Zhytomyr oblast. Veterans and people with war-related disabilities can use UAH 1,500 per month for sports and rehabilitation. The initiative has already involved 18 sports facilities in oblast.
Sumy oblast
On 9 February in Sumy, a russian Shahed struck a car park. A fire broke out at the scene, which was extinguished by firefighters. As a result of the strike, two women were injured: one is receiving outpatient treatment, while the other has been taken to hospital. Six apartment buildings and one private house were damaged. Six cars were burnt, and 15 were damaged.
At School №29, a command centre for mitigating the aftermath of the russian strike on Sumy has commenced operations. Additionally, rescuers have erected a heated tent where residents of the damaged apartments can warm up. Since the strike, 66 people have visited the Invincibility Centre, and 53 have contacted the damage-control command centre.

On 10 February, Anti-Aircraft Guns shot down 5 enemy UAVs of Shahed type in the sky over Sumy oblast. Since the beginning of 2025, 359 enemy drones have been destroyed by the oblast’s air defense units.
During night and morning, russians carried out 6 shelling attacks on border areas and settlements in Sumy oblast, resulting in 7 explosions: GAB launches (3 explosions), UAV attack (1 explosion), FPV-drone strike (1 explosion), mortar strikes (2 explosions). The attacks targeted Sumy, Yunakivka, Khotin, Bilopillia, and Velyka Pysarivka communities.
The RMA reported that on 8 February, russians carried out 117 shelling attacks on border areas and settlements in Sumy oblast, resulting in 205 explosions. The enemy struck by mortars (61 explosions), artillery (31 explosions), FPV-drones (29 explosions), UAVs (1 explosion) and dropped explosive devices from UAVs (40 explosions), launched GAB (26 explosions) and NAR (10 explosions). The attacks targeted Sumy, Khotin, Yunakivka, Myropilia, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Esman, and Seredyna-Buda communities.
In Sumy, non-residential premises were damaged by an explosion on 8 February. The enemy launched 2 GAB strikes and one rocket strike on the community.
In Sumy oblast, White Angels crew assisted in the evacuation of a grandmother who lived in one of the frontline villages. According to Sumy National Police, the village of 70-year-old Hanna Fedorivna was massively shelled by russian troops the day before.
Chernihiv oblast
According to the State Border Guard Service, throughout 9 February, russian forces attacked 15 villages in two border communities in Chernihiv oblast.
Semenivka community: 4 mortar strikes, 10 artillery strikes, 1 FPV-drone strike, 3 explosive devices dropped from a UAV. In Karpovychi, a residential building caught fire as a result of an FPV-drone strike.
Snovsk community: 16 mortar strikes, 7 FPV-drone strikes, 1 explosion as a result of an explosive device dropped from a UAV.
Viacheslav Chaus, Head of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, reported that over the past week, the russian army shelled 23 settlements in the oblast. During this time, the enemy carried out 139 shellings and delivered 325 strikes. In particular, the russian military conducted 28 airstrikes by unguided aviation rockets and FPV-drones. They also struck by artillery systems, mortars of various calibers, grenade launchers, MLRS, and dropped explosives from UAVs. As a result of the enemy attacks throughout the week, homes, non-residential buildings, and agricultural structures in three regions of the oblast were damaged and destroyed, and a vehicle was destroyed.

Viacheslav Chaus, Head of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, reported that this week, Ukrainian military forces shot down 30 enemy drones.
In Chernihiv oblast, police explosive technicians defused the warhead of an enemy drone that did not detonate. The police inspected the damaged strike drone, removed the warhead, and destroyed it in a safe location by means of an explosion.
Over the past week, 10 people left the shelled border area. Families that remain living in modular houses and dormitories are provided with all necessary supplies. Volunteers assist with food and distribute food packages.
58% of schools in Chernihiv oblast operate in-person, 34% in a hybrid format, and 8% online. There are 29 schools in distance learning: 10 of them lack shelters, 5 educational institutions are undergoing repairs, and 13 are in a 20km zone.
Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
In the evening and overnight, russian forces continued attacking Nikopol region by artillery, Grad MLRS, a kamikaze drone and an explosive dropped from a UAV. The occupiers targeted Nikopol, Marhanets and Myrove communities. The attacks damaged high-rise buildings, businesses, a store, 17 private houses (one was destroyed), 12 outbuildings, vehicles, power lines and gas pipelines.
Also, Ukrainian air defence forces shot down 5 russian UAVs over the oblast.
The russian forces attacked 2 regions – Nikopol and Synelnykove. During the day, they carried out nearly 35 strikes on Nikopol region by artillery, kamikaze drones and UAV-dropped explosives, targeting Nikopol, Pokrov, Marhanets and Myrove communities. The attacks caused a fire, damaged businesses, 6 private houses, 2 outbuildings, a vehicle, a gas pipeline and infrastructure. Synelnykove region was hit twice, with Velykomykhailivka and Mezhova communities targeted. The russian forces used KAB and a kamikaze drone, damaging 6 private houses and a power line.
Vinnytsia oblast
The deaths of 7 soldiers from Vinnytsia oblast have been confirmed: Ruslan Sichkarenko, Oleksandr Kozeniuk, Viacheslav Hramarchuk, Ivan Kiser, Petro Martseniuk, Oleksandr Lavreniuk and Serhii Bondarchuk.
Kirovohrad oblast
Andrii Raikovych, Head of the RMA, reported that during an air raid alert, Ukrainian air defence forces shot down a russian Shahed drone over Kirovohrad oblast. There was no damage or casualties reported.
Andrii Shchetina, Head of the Regional Youth and Sports Department, said that Ukraine is participating for the 5th time in the Invictus Games, which are being held this year in Vancouver, Canada. The Ukrainian team includes 35 servicemen and veterans who were wounded, injured or became ill during or as a result of their service in the ongoing russia-Ukraine war since 2014. One of the participants is Arsen Riaboshapko from Kirovohrad oblast, who was injured in March 2023 in Donetsk oblast. He now plans to develop veteran rehabilitation programs in Ukraine.
Inna Tilnova, Co-founder of a creative workshop called Baba Yelka, announced that in Kropyvnytskyi, a creative workshop will be launched for relatives of military personnel, war veterans and families of fallen soldiers. The ethno-laboratory will host workshops, excursions and photo sessions, as announced by project.
Poltava oblast
At night, in a dacha cooperative in Poltava, more than 60 households were damaged as a result of a drone crash. Authorities inspected the area and provided residents with materials for urgent repairs.
At the Holy Assumption Cathedral of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, a memorial service was held for fallen soldiers: Viacheslav Mitselia, who was killed on 26 January 2025, near Mykolaivka in kursk oblast, after sustaining fatal injuries; and Dmytro Litvin, who was killed on 3 February 2025, during a combat mission in Donetsk oblast.
Also, soldiers from Myrhorod, Kremenchuk and Opishnia communities were killed defending Ukraine from russian aggression: Yaroslav Lotosh, a 34-year-old soldier, was killed in action on 5 February near Tarasivka, Donetsk oblast; Roman Khorun, a 47-year-old soldier, was killed on 30 January near Kotlyne village; and Yevhen Timchenko, a 44-year-old soldier, died in russian captivity.
Cherkasy oblast
At the St. Michael’s Garrison Cathedral in Cherkasy, a memorial ceremony was held for Junior Sergeant Vadym Valiar, who was a rifle platoon commander. He was killed on the northern front while carrying out a combat mission.
Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine
Zaporizhzhia oblast
On 10 February, russian forces attacked Tavriiske in Zaporizhzhia oblast, launching up to ten guided aerial bombs (KABs). A 29-year-old man was killed in the strike, which also damaged private homes and vehicles. russian troops also shelled the frontline town of Huliaipole, injuring one person.
Yesterday, russian forces carried out 401 attacks across 12 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast. The enemy conducted 24 airstrikes on Kamianske, Stepnohirsk, Piatykhatky, Lukianivske, Prymorske, and Huliaipole. 187 UAVs of various types targeted Kamianske, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Zelenе, Charivne, and Novodarivka. Five MLRS strikes hit Huliaipole, Novodanylivka, Charivne, and Novodarivka. Additionally, 185 artillery strikes targeted Kamianske, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Omelnyk, Charivne, and Novodarivka. Authorities received 15 reports of damage to apartments and private homes.
In the temporarily occupied city of Berdiansk, russian forces are preparing students for participation in the war against Ukraine. According to Berdiansk City Military Administration, the occupation authorities opened a training center where children are being taught to operate drones.
Meanwhile, a delegation of Belarusian propagandists arrived in the occupied part of Zaporizhzhia oblast on 10 February to meet with the region’s occupation authorities. Ukraine’s Center for Countering Disinformation emphasized that this visit is an attempt to create the illusion of international support for the occupation regime and to demonstrate Belarus’s loyalty to russia.
Mykolaiv oblast
During the night of 10 February, air defense forces destroyed four Shahed-131/136 drones in Mykolaiv oblast.
On 9 February, at 11:30am, russian forces attacked Kutsurub community with an FPV drone, damaging a private house and farm buildings in the village of Solonchaky. Later, at 5:11pm, russian troops shelled Kutsurub community with artillery. No casualties were reported.
Odesa oblast
On the evening of 10 February, explosions were heard in Odesa. An air raid alert was declared at 5:45pm, and the Air Force warned of high-speed targets heading toward the city. At 5:46pm, explosions were reported in Odesa.
As of 6am, one russian missile carrier was present in the Black Sea, capable of launching up to four Kalibr cruise missiles. Six enemy ships were stationed in the Mediterranean Sea, including two missile carriers with a combined volley of up to 22 Kalibr missiles. Over the past day, one vessel passed through the Kerch Strait into the Sea of Azov in russia’s interest.
A year ago, the public organization “Crimean Tatars of Odesa” launched the “Weekend Drone” initiative, bringing together Odesa residents to support the army by assembling drones for the front. Over the past year, the team has built more than 300 drones and repaired about 500.
Kherson oblast
Around 4:20pm, кussian forces shelled Kherson downtown with artillery, damaging an apartment building and vehicles. A 59-year-old woman sustained a blast injury and concussion.
A resident of Kherson was injured in a russian drone attack, suffering a blast injury and shrapnel wound to the leg.
In the morning, a 72-year-old woman in Dniprovskyi district of Kherson was wounded by a drone strike, receiving blast trauma and shrapnel injuries to her chest and abdomen.
At approximately 11:30am, russian forces attacked a resident of Antonivka with a drone. The 79-year-old man suffered a blast injury and shrapnel wounds to his chest and shoulder.
A man sought medical help after detonating a russian explosive in Veletenske. On the morning of 9 February, a 60-year-old local man ran over an enemy anti-personnel mine (“Lepestok”) while riding a moped, sustaining a blast injury and shrapnel wound to his shin.
A 51-year-old man stepped on a mine in a forest strip near the village of Stiike, suffering blast trauma, concussion, and shrapnel injuries to his arms, legs, face, and abdomen.
Over the past day, russian forces shelled and conducted airstrikes on multiple settlements, including Antonivka, Stanislav, Tokarivka, Poniativka, Mykilske, Beryslav, Novoraisk, Chervonyi Maiak, Zolota Balka, Zelenivka, Sadove, Inzhenerne, Prydniprovske, Mykolaivka, Lvove, Zmiivka, Burhunka, Veletenske, Havrylivka, Dniprovske, Zymivnyk, Kizomys, Kozatske, Komysany, Monastyrske, Novotiahynka, Odradokamianka, Olhivka, Osokorivka, Sablukivka, Sofiivka, Tiahynka, Shyroka Balka and the city of Kherson. A high-rise building, four private homes, a penitentiary facility, and an agricultural structure were damaged. One person was killed, and another was injured due to russian aggression.
During a nighttime drone attack, Ukrainian air defense forces shot down one “Shahed-131/136” over the region.
The South Operational Command reported that enemy losses over the past day included 45 personnel, a Buk-M3 air defense system, six artillery systems, four mortars, 16 vehicles and armored units, 11 Shahed-136 drones, six reconnaissance UAVs (“Zala,” “Supercam,” and “Orlan-10”), an ATV and a motorcycle, a boat, three electronic warfare systems, seven UAV control antennas, two Starlink antennas, and a communication antenna. Additionally, Ukrainian forces destroyed 50 enemy bunkers/shelters, nine observation posts, and two field supply depots.
Last week, more than 280 residents of Beryslav region received free medical assistance from volunteer doctors of the Fortitude charity fund. Medical teams operated in Zarichne, Davydiv Brid, Sadok, Kucherske, and Nova Kuban. The mobile clinic team from Palianytsia Fund PAL-UA provided over 1,800 consultations last month to residents of remote communities in Kherson oblast, including psychological support through individual and group sessions.

Volyn oblast
Ihor Polishchuk, Lutsk City Mayor, as part of a working trip to Washington (the USA), together with Dana Ralph, Kent City Mayor (Washington, the USA) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. The memorandum provides for cooperation between the cities of Lutsk and Kent in areas of education, culture, economic development, utilities and technology.
Zakarpattia oblast
During the last day, 59 trucks with humanitarian aid were registered at the western borders of Ukraine with the EU and Moldova. 33,000 people arrived in Ukraine over the past 24 hours, 29,000 of them are citizens of Ukraine.
Ivano-Frankivsk oblast
Cross of Peace has arrived in Ivano-Frankivsk. It is a work of contemporary art created by Serhii Melnikoff, American-Ukrainian artist, known as MFF, and Viktor Belchyk, metal artist from Odesa. The installation is based on the Golden Crucifix, a life-size sculpture of Christ made from 20,000 fragments of artillery shells collected from battlefields in Ukraine.
Lviv oblast
Lviv City Hall held a meeting with representatives of the European Commission. They discussed the city’s experience during the war and various investment, technological, medical, and environmental projects in Lviv.
In Lviv, students in grades 10-11 receive quality knowledge in the Defense of Ukraine subject in 14 specially created centers of national-patriotic education. Now Lviv experience is being implemented by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for educational institutions throughout the country.
Rivne oblast
2 more Security Classrooms have been opened in Rivne oblast. Both classrooms are equipped with an interactive panel, a personal computer, educational stands, models, and other materials for effective learning. There are already 124 such safe spaces in the oblast.
Ternopil oblast
Ternopil City Council reported that the community has allocated assistance for 273 military personnel. The servicemen received UAH 10,000 each for equipment and technical means.
Khmelnytskyi oblast
At night, during an air alert signal, the Air Defense Forces destroyed 4 enemy Shahed UAVs. The places where the debris fell are being determined. There are no injuries, deaths or damage.
Chernivtsi oblast
Alexandru Victor Micula, Ambassador of Romania to Ukraine, paid a working visit to Chernivtsi oblast. During the visit, special attention was paid to discussing the prospects for international cooperation in the field of education and cultural exchange, as well as the importance of creating a safe and comfortable environment for students.
International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)
On the 3rd anniversary of the full-scale war in Ukraine, Lithuania is holding a solidarity campaign called Radarom!. In a week – from 3 February to the morning of 10 February – citizens and businesses of the country have already donated over EUR 1m. Two-thirds of the funds raised will be used to purchase Lithuanian-made drones and anti-drones, and the rest will be used to purchase equipment created in Ukraine. The campaign will run until 24 February.
The Invictus Games are taking place in Canada. Ukraine is represented by 35 servicemen and veterans who were wounded, injured, or became ill during or as a result of their duty in the combat zone of the russian-Ukrainian war since 2014.
A collection of poems by Maksym Kryvtsov, soldier and poet, who was killed at the front, has been published in Lithuanian. The writer’s poems were translated from Ukrainian by Marius Byurokas, Benediktas Januszevicius and Antanas A. Joninas. All proceeds from the book’s sales in Lithuania will be donated to the Lithuanian Writers’ Union Fund to support Ukraine.
